It’s back to normal at Kroger this week.  No big Mega Event, but there are still some great deals.  There are a lot of deals with eCoupons this week, and I’ve made a full match up of coupons with new Cellfire eCoupons below the deals.  You should have cheap yogurt, and a few almost free items!

I am on the road tonight but will make my weekly walk of Kroger Monday morning and update with all the closeout and unadvertised deals!shoppinglist1

      Jenny,
There will be a Catalina on Pillsbury starting Oct.5th-Nov.1. I know this will not match up with your dates Sun-Sat., but for those of us where Kroger’s ad changes on Thurs. to Wed. it will!!!! Yippee! Also, thanks for all your work. We tell all our Indiana coupon friends about your site.
      Roxy

      • Ronna

what is the catalina for? Should I wait to buy my things? Wondering how well the catalina is going to be.

    • Jenny

I went to Kroger this week to get a few items and a prescription filled. I checked out at the pharmacy. She scanned my coupons but when I paid I thought the total was high. I looked at my receipt and my ecoupons had come off but none of my paper coupons came off. When I went to customer service, she said that they were no longer able to use a paper coupon with an ecoupon. It took a long time for her to realize that there were several items that I didn’t have ecoupons for and to reimburse me for the coupons that didn’t come off. I said that it had never been an issue before using both, but she said that they received a memo about it. It stunk because I had a 1.00 paper coupon and only a 55 cent ecoupon. I would have rather used the 1 one. I don’t know if they will be able to catch it if you check out with a regular cashier or not, but I was informed of the policy change. Just wanted to let you all know.

      • Mina

I hope they returned your coupons to you. Otherwise, they’ll be reimbursed for redeeming them and you will have been short changed.

I would also have been unhappy with that surprise. I’m used to never being able to predict when, or if, my ecoupons will come off, but I’m not willing to play a game of trying to guess whether the paper ones will. For one thing, I think of the EQ’s as store q’s because they are only good at a specific chain.

If I’d been the one caught unaware, depending on how unhappy I was, I probably would have returned at least the item with the 55 cent EQ with the explanation that it cost me more than I was willing to pay. Then, if I really wanted the item, I would have repurchased it with the paper q.

        • Debbie

I went to Kroger today, all excited about my coupons (I’m fairly new to this) only to be told they would only accept 2 internet coupons per customer. Apparently, they started this policy 2 months ago, however, not all the cashiers were following it..until now. I had $10 worth of coupons they would not allow. The manager was about as pleasant as a root canal, so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

          • Joe

The Kroger policy is actually Two internet coupons per manufacturer per item per day. I was told only two per customer then called Kroger HQ. I just stopped going to that Kroger and go to a different one now.

      • Erin

Anyone else have problems combining ecoupons and paper coupons this week? I’ve never had any problems before, but there are a number of items on my list that I won’t be getting if this is the case.

        • Erin

To answer my own question, it looks like the ecoupons and paper coupons are working together. I got the crescent rolls, cinnamon rolls, GG boxed vegetables, and Toaster Strudels with paper and ecoupons with no beeping. I did buy more than just these items, though. I think staying below the radar helps. I also got a $1 Catalina from General Mills. I guess from the vegetables, although I thought it was supposed to be $2 on four boxes. My paper coupons were better than the ecoupons, so if I wasn’t allowed to use them, I would have put everything back and gone to WalMart.

          • Kathy

I went to Krogers twice this week & didn’t have any trouble using both coupons. I had a lot of printed coupons – double of some items -and ecoupons for most of them – and I was glad there was no problem using them. I’m like you if there had been a problem I would have left the groceries there and went some where else. I only bought one item that I didn’t have a coupon for.

    • Wendy

This was a long post; I hope this hasn’t already been posted.

    • Sarah Beth

I have a question regarding Ecoupons. If you have the same ecoupon on both Shortcuts and CellFire, will both come off or do you have to buy enough items per ecoupon?

      • Kim

From my experience, only ONE q comes off per type of item. Maybe someone else has other info?

        • kelli

I have had the same experience, even when buying multiples of the same item.

          • Sarah Beth

            Thanks girls!!!

            • sarah

I am able to use ecoupons, cellfire, p&gesaver, and shortcuts and paper coupons for a product.

            • Amy

I’m not sure about this. I went yesterday and on the receipt it shows a Cellfire and a Shortcuts discount BEFORE the second item was scanned. Maybe it’s just my store doing something strange. I’m going to try on my next visit and see if both come off when I only have one item.

I’ve not experienced any difficulty with paper/e-coupon matching or with limits to coupons.

    • kristen

Can someone explain how to use the cell fire coupons? I am kinda confused. Thanks!!

      • kelli

You have to go to the site and sign up with your card number. After you’ve done that, you can load coupons onto your card which will come off at the register.

    • Teresa

    • got a $2 OYNO Cat after buying 4 GG frozen veggies!
Oops…forgot to say great post! Looking forward to your next one.

    • Emily

Im new, and confused. Why are there multiple listing for coupons on one item? Do they except the multiple coupons for the one item? or is it a pick and choose your best shot kind of thing?
      Thanks!

      • Jenny

It is to help you know what all is out there. We want to stock up on it when it is a good price for a few weeks worth so this way you can find all the coupons you can. You are only allowed one per item though, you are right.

        • Emily

So, when you have more than 1 coupon listed for 1 item, it is to remind us where we got them or can get them, and there fore we can use 1 coupon for the item or as specified? I think I get it ;) just giving us some options to save some money on the item thats already on sale! BTW- I took my first baby step today, I had 3 coupons for the friskies cat treats from yesterdays paper. I got all three for .43 cents(tax)!WHOO HOO! Save 5.43, and I dont own cats lol! These are going to the animal rescue in town!

          • HAHAHA! Emily, I have dog food and cat food but no animals!

    • ZJ

18oz bottles of Fruit2o are on sale for $1 this week. I found a couple of $1 off coupons in my folder for this item! I’m just not certain which insert & what week I clipped them from…any one know where they can be found?

      • Kelly

SS 8/23. It is very easy to locate any coupon, just go to hotcouponworld.com
Thanks for the heads-up on Fruit2o!

    • Stacie

I couldn’t find the .35 cent off Totinos pizza rolls! I looked in all of the SS that were listed (9/13, 8/9 & 7/12) and all had the .40 cent off of two, but no .35 cent off of one! Why is this? It’s such a dissapointment when this happens! I am in the Mid Atlantic region, so I should have the same coupons, but I don’t!

      • I found my totino’s coupons in the ads from this past week. I think it was in the PG. Hope you find them.

      • pepesme

I have found that all papers do not have the same coupons. We live in an Atlanta, GA suburb. The county paper (delivery included w/our cable service) has a small selection of coupons in both the RP and SS than the AJC, so I pick up a copy of the Atlanta Journal on Sunday’s and just know I will have doubles of some coupons, but not all.

        • Debbie

Jenny, there is a $.55 off 2 Totinos on Shortcuts that expires 10/27 also and mine came off to make mine .04 for 2 boxes!!!! All my E-Coupons worked except when I bought the small cans of Grands though the E-coupon says ANY size. I have disputed that with Shortcuts.

Also to pepesme, the papers vary dramatically from region to region. We even have different Q’s in papers that are delivered one county away. That is why under Jenny’s section for “coupon inserts” there are so many listed for different areas. Their all different.

          Hope that helps!

        • Lisa

pepesme-I think you are talking about the free paper delivered on Thursday from the AJC. It’s just a little paper with a couple insert and store ads. I have never found a web site that matched these coupons to sales. What I do is take a post it note and write the coupon on the note and stick it to the front of the insert, then file them along with my Sunday paper inserts. I’ve found lots of great coupons but simply scanning through the post it notes. When I use one, I scratch it off the post it note.
          Hope this helps.
          Lisa

GRRRRRR……..Also no coupon for the Fruit2o in my 8/23 SS. Have the regions changed on here or something? I used to have all of the right coupons for the sales that are run on here and now I have none!!!!

      • Mina

No, it’s not that the regions have changed. Coupons vary from paper to paper, even in a small area. When I get two different papers the values on some are different. Coupons listed are just ones that have been reported by various people around the country. I know there are weeks when I’m very disappointed that none of the ones I want the most were in my inserts. Other weeks there are good matches.

Our store has Orville Redenbacher B1G1. Used .40 Q from SS8/2. Spent .90, saved $2.49

    • sarah

Just a note about cellfire and shortcuts, if a coupon you have loaded isn’t redeemed for a product you purchased, email them. I have many times and they are good about reimbursing you.

    • Laurie

Hillshire Farm Deli Select lunch meats have a $1/1 coupon inside the box packaging. To make them FREE!!!

      • Jennifer G

Are you sure it’s $1/1? Because mine says $1/3, but the front of the box says $1 off your next purchase…kind of misleading, but just wanted to mention it.

    • Stephanie T

There is an overlapping Catalina deal on the Green Giant boxed veggies which matches up with the sale and coupons.

At Kroger – Buy any Green Giant Frozen Boxed Vegetables and Save up to $3 on a Future Shopping order. Dates of offer between 9/11 and 10/4. All items have to be purchased in one shopping order. Buy (3) & Get $1…Buy (4) & Get $2…Buy (5) & Get $3…

    • On like the .40/2 paper coupons for the pizza rolls for example does that coupon double to .80. I was just wondering since it is for two. I heard they only double on one coupon only.

      • most krogers double up to 3.
Albertson’s if you have them in your area are running a sale that ends tomorrow, totinos pizza rolls for 88 cents

      • kelli

The 2 Kroger stores that I shop at double coupons upto 50 cents. I don’t believe that there is a limit on the number of coupons that they double. If there is, I’ve never reached it. The last time I went shopping at Kroger (on Saturday), I used ten 50 cent coupons and they all doubled.

    • Brittney

Anyone see any unadvertised deals yet?

My kroger says they double up to 5 coupons, when i asked for that in print they couldn’t supply it. The register automatically doubles, but one day I had a cashier actually try to get a code to stop it from doubling, that was when I discovered the “up to 5 of the same item” limit.
I don’t mind following the rules as long as they are made clear to me.

    • Miss M

Does anyone know the zip code for getting the .50 coupon for Angel Soft toilet paper? Or do you know where I might find it in the PG, RP or PG? I saw this on another site that Kroger had it this week for $1 for 4 rolls and with the .50 coupon that made it free but I can’t find the right zip code to get to the coupon.

Thanks for any help you can give.

      • Brittney

the only .50 out right now are on the 6 pack or more of the double rolls i think

    • Emily

One more question. If I have a coupon for $1/3 of an item or something similar. Can I buy 3 and use 3 coupons for $w off each of them or is it what is specfied on the face of coupon only?

      • Emily, if the coupon is for $1 off three and you buy three, then you can only use one coupon.

    • Beth

Has anyone tried using an ecoupon with a paper one this week? I am curious re comment # 2 that said it is a new policy that they will not accept both. That will put a damper on my Kroger shopping!

      • ZJ

I just went and was able to use an e-coupon and paper coupon for Pringles with no problem.

        • beth

          Thanks!

      • Amanda

I was able to use my coupons and ecoupons. Also, energizer batteries are on sale for $2, they have a 75 cent Q, plus $1 shortcut e coupon. Makes for really cheap batteries- Christmas toys:)

    • Suzanne

Is there a “better” zip code to use with Smart Source? I’ve tried a couple of the ones mentioned in posts the last few weeks, but can’t get the coupons listed when I click on the link (for example, the Fiber One Cereal). I get so excited about some deals but then feel shot down since I can’t locate the coupon. Does it mean they are no longer available or just not available in the zips I’ve tried?

      • kelli

I usually see people saying use 90210.

    • Brittney

the vegitalbe coupon is the ss on 9/13 is $0.50/2 not 1

    • Katie

Just went to the Kroger here in Mt. Juliet, TN and the Ball Park hot dogs were not on B1G1 sale…also the Kroger veggies were 10/$10 not $.88…

    • Kris

It’s not on sale. But when you buy the dust and shine at Kroger. regular price at my kroger is $4.29. use two paper coupons the b1g1 coupon and the .50 coupon that gets doubled. The p&g ecoupon it makes them $1.29 each. Great price if you like the dust and shine. I can never find this on sale so I was happy.

    • Ronna

I have a question I have loaded some coupons on my kroger card. For example I loaded a coupon for $1.00/2 bisquits from cell fire and $1.00/2 bisquits from shortcuts. So I have a double coupon basicly so will it come off twice or will I need to use it in two different transactions?
      Thank you

      • Kimberly

I have found that it will come off twice in one transaction as long as you buy 4 cans.

    • Ronna

Does anyone know if you can freeze the Pillsbury bisquits/rolls in the can? If you can then do you take them out of the can or leave them in it? Also when thawing them out how do you do that? Thank you

      • Mawz

No not in can. You can bake them then freeze them. A lot of people do this, I think it changes the taste and texture.

    • Kat

Kroger in Atlanta (Edgewood) said today that they won’t accept paper coupons with e-coupons. My very sweet husband took back the items that we wouldn’t normally buy if it wasn’t for the amazing deal with e & paper coupons. I guess Publix will just get more of my business now.

    • Debbie

Has anyone found the Axe coupon on Smartsource? What zip code do we need? I tried about 10 and none of them brought it up. Thanks!

    • Susan

Someone please help! I am contemplating using ecoupons for the first time (shortcuts ones). My family really likes the Betty Crocker boxed potatoes, so I have like 10 paper coupons for these. If I load the shortcut coupon, will it take the additional savings off of each box I purchase or just one of them? Thanks for your help!

      • Jenny

It will only take it off one box. If you load the same coupon from cellfire too (so that you had two on their) then it would take it off two boxes.

    • Carla

Tonight at Kroger, bought 3 boxes of Betty Crocker potatoes. Had 3 man q’s and the ecoupon from cellfire or shortcuts (cant remember which one). The ecoupon was deducted and all 3 man q’s went through but only 2 were doubled. I guess the 3rd one didn’t double because of the ecoupon that came off. What a disappointment this is.

    • Karen (Spring Hill, TN)

To Ronna about freezing Pillsbury biscuits/rolls: We did that a few months ago. It does change the texture of the biscuit and makes for a grumpy husband.
