Thanks for all the matchups! I know you have alot of hard work to do so sometimes you don't notice when coupons aren't a matchup so I thought I'd give you a heads up.
I just “liked” Fage Yogurt on facebook to print the $2/2 coupon. Unfortunately the coupon that prints is only for the 17.6 oz size yogurts. The yogurts you have listed on sale for $1 are the 5.3 oz size, so the coupons do not match. Some people may print this coupon and be able to use it if their cashiers don't notice the size difference, but of course that would be unethical. Might be better to remove the link since it is not a true matchup.

Anyone have the zip for the 75 cents off Birdseye steamfresh?

    • Olemissmoss

Does anyone know if the $5 GC deal for the Gen. Mills cereals can be used to purchase another 4 boxes of Gen. Mills cereals. I know at Walgreens you cannot use rewards from one product to pay for another of the same product. Has anyone tried this yet. Here's what I was thinking. 4 boxes of Chex (4 $1/1 coupons) = 7.16, get a $5 gift card, then buy 4 boxes of Fiber One bars (4 $.40/1 doubled coupons) + previous $5 gift card = 3.76, get a $5 gift card, then buy 6 bags of Mars Easter candy (3 $2/2 coupons) + previous $5 gift card = 4.00, get a $5 gift card back. That makes 14.92 for everything plus you still have a $5 gift card left. That's like paying 1.07 for each item (or taking into account gift card left over, like paying $.71 cent EA). Not sure if I am going to do this yet.

      • Jaburga73

At the Kroger I shop, they said that it takes 8-10 mins for the gift card to be processed. So, I guess if you feel like waiting around, it's possible.

        • Amanda

I don't see why it would take that long to get it. I got mine yesterday, in like seconds. :(

          • Amber

My cashier handed me the gift card before I paid, so I was able to apply it to the same transaction! :)

            • Benjamietaylor

I didthe same as Amber. He acted kinda clueless anyway, I said can I use this now he said we can try and it worked. i think I will look for the same cashier everytime. I think I even handed him multiple coupons for the same item by accident and he just took them all off. :)

      • Scwill35

Last week I purchased 4 boxes of cereal and handed my wife the gift card I received to apply to her purchase of 4 more boxes of cereal. It worked wonderfully.

      • selena

It can. I did it yesterday.

      • couponmonster

It worked for me. I bought 4 boxes of fiber one bars, used coupons, and got the giftcard. Went to kroger two days later, bought 4 more boxes, used coupons, paid with giftcard earned from previous 4 boxes. I also received another gift card for my second set of 4 boxes as well.

      • Mary

Seems like a lot of trouble to me. I would suggest just doing minimal transactions and using the gift cards for gas.

I used to do what you are doing at CVS, but I just do one transaction there now. The cashiers and the people waiting in line like you better when you are simple and quick. :)

The first time at CVS you might have to use more cash, but then you have more ECBs to use the next time and can just continue doing one larger transaction. Easier for my ADD brain to deal with. Especially when I have kids with me.

    • Cathy

We didn't have the General Mills gift card deal in our area this week (Arkansas). :( I was so sad! Hopefully they will run it next week because the kids ate up my supply of Fiber One bars!

      • Natalie

Me neither, in Mississippi. I wonder how they decide. Bummer!

    • Judy

I can't get to the Quilted Northern toilet paper coupon. Is anyone else having problems finding it to load it?

      • Tnjcent

Cathy, I found a coupon for Northern T.P. on walmart.com website. I typed in coupons in the search query and it led me to some good q’s. You can only print 2 of each. Hope this helps!

      • Jbuttimer

        I can't find it either.

    • Melissa

I have a question regarding Kroger ecoupons. Since they no longer take manf. coupons along with the ecoupons because they consider ecoupons a manf. coupon, will they double ecoupons that are .50 or less since they double manf. paper coupons???

      • Lorannclark

        e-coupons don't double- sorry:(

    • HSMom

What's the zip for the Birdseye veggies?

      • sarahm

        I can't find it either. I tried 90210, 30605, 29631, 29414, 45201, 35201 and 37307 and nothing! :(

    • Leticiag30

What do u mean when you ask for a zip code for an item??

      • Melissa

Different zipcodes sometimes bring up different coupons.

    • shops2much

My Kroger had some O.P.I ( the Burlesque Collection ) of nail polish on clearance for 2.25 , regularly 7.99 and I had printed the dollar off coupon a couple of weeks ago. It'a a great Easter egg stuffer gift!

    • Queensusan1111

Some of the coupons you listed under as SS4/10 I did not have last week… Are different coupons indigenous to different areas? Also, a thing I found about kroger… If the coupon is on your shoppers card, they will not double it but if you have the paper copy they will. Also, our kroger in Jackson, ms will double up to .55 cents face value on the coupon so I load anything higher than that to my card and keep paper coupons for the rest!

    • Kycrash

I was told Friday by 2 Kroger employees if I used coupons on the cereal I would not receive my gift card, I have written the company asking, be ware this may happen to you to

      • coucou4coupons

Not true in GA (McDonough). I was able to get mine with no problem

        • Amanda

I had no problem with mine yesterday. My coupons were scanned before the gift card was issued. I used coupons on all 4 of my cereals, and it didn't affect a thing. (Morehead, KY)

      • Rgbarron01

Coupons (e-coupons or printed) had no effect on receiving gift cards in Louisville, KY area. The register prompts the cashier (noticable beep) to issue the gift card before coupons are even scanned.

      • Rrnlrapa

I had that problem. I had to go to Customer Service to receive the gift card because it stated Ecoupon on my receipt. THey still gave it to me though.

      • Vee

I used a combination of paper and ecoupons and still got the gift card with no problem. (Midlothian VA)

      • sarahcas

I did this last week and used coupons (paper, not e) on all four products. The lady at customer service checked over my receipt at least twice to make sure I hadn't used any e-coupons before she would give me the gift card. Kind of a hassle, but oh well. It's $5.

        • Faywcoupons

I must have gotten a new cashier because I got the $5 and used the printed coupon.

        • Britnee64

i also used all paper coupons

      • Britnee64

I used coupons on all 4 boxes i bought last week in my zanesville kroger and got my gift card with no problems.

    • Vee

I have tried loading coupons to my shoppers card and it didn't go through last week. When I log in they're shown on my account, but they didn't scan when I made the purchases. I emailed Kroger and got a long, complicated response about troubleshooting and paperwork for reimbursement, but I don't know that it's worth it. Also, it seems the ecoupons will trump any better mfr. coupon you have–what do y'all think? Are the ecoupons worth it?

      • Teecee

I have quit using Kroger e-coupons. The paper coupons are usually a better amount and I tend to forget about the e-coupons but have the paper coupon in my hand. I still use shortcuts and p&g online coupons, though, but only for items that I know do not usually offer paper coupons. The online Kroger stuff was really unreliable.

      • sarahcas

I had the 50 cent coupon from cellfire from earlier in the week that was just 50 cents off your total purchase (you have to buy at least 51 cents… Which I did) and it didn't come off. It was only 50 cents so I'm not going to worry about it, but it's still kind of frustrating. E-coupons, in my opinion, are not really worth it. Most of the time there is a better paper coupon. Plus, it's so hit or miss whether they'll actually come off.

You might try calling Kroger instead of just emailing. A few months ago, I won a free item on Kroger's website from one of the games they have every once in a while. I bought that product but it didn't come off on the receipt so I called and she asked me a bunch of questions to make sure I had gotten the right product (I had to read the UPC code to her) and then she credited the amount I paid for the product onto my Kroger card. Of course, that amount would come off as an e-coupon, so who knows if it would actually work. This was back before they changed their coupon policy.

Goodness, I didn't mean to write a book. I hope that helps!

      • Faywcoupons

I've heard that the ecard method will not double store coupons. Has anyone unsubscribed from using the ecard?

    • Stephanie

In regards to the Huggies, there is a $3.00/1 printable at coupons.com. I printed it off today. Its 60ct or higher but $3.00 is a huge amount off.

    • CookevilleMommma

OK… i have questions… this will my my first week of couponing. I've chosen to start in Kroger, and learn from there. Not because i like Kroger necessarily, but because Cookeville, TN doesn't have as many options as i'd like. QUESTIONS: 1: Why didn't i get a Smart Source in my Sunday paper? I thought that was where it came from. 2: Suppose i want to stock up on Birds Eye frozen veggies at .25 a pack… i've found the coupons.. can i print and use as many as i want? In other words… i can use 1 coupon for every pack of veggies, right?

      • Teecee

Hi, I’m in Cookeville too. I’ll try to answer…

The H-C does not get the coupons anymore. We get the Tennessean at the store on Sunday to get them. I’ve heard (but haven’t tried yet) that the Shell station in Algood carries the weekly Livingston paper on Wednesdays. The paper is only 50 cents but is supposed to have all of the same coupons as the Tennessean.

As far as printing coupons, there are usually limits. Like at coupons.com, you can often only print something once a week and depending on the product rules it will tell you that you’ve reached the print limit after a while. There are computer tricks to get around this, but then you’re probably violating the law and store policy. I never print more than one a week. As far as paper coupons, you can use as many as you have, I think. I’ve never had any trouble with multiple coupons at Kroger as long as I buy enough items.

      • Amber

Some Sunday papers don't carry SmartSource. I live outside of Atlanta; my local paper just has RedPlum, so I have to buy the Atlanta paper to get SmartSource. Check in the paper of the biggest city you're near.

And for your second question, yes, you can use one manu. coupon per item.

      • Pinkfairytoes

I also live in Cookeville. I will say that our Kroger is really great about accepting coupons. :) Answer to #1: When you buy a paper, make sure that the coupons you want are in the paper before you leave the store. Half the time I get a Tennessean, all the inserts are not in there. I don't think the H-C has coupons in there for the papers in the store, just the ones that go to people's homes (so I've heard). #2: Yes, you can use one coupon for each product. Good luck!

        • CookevilleMommma

Well.. i'm off to a somewhat frustrating start though, because i can't get my hands on the Kroger Home Mailer! :( I obviously just chucked it in the trash whenever i got it…. i called customer service and they said they only come out 4 times a year! Waaaaaah! I guess i'll hafta start my couponing adventures at CVS for now…..

          • Mamaof3boys

We have a huge problem in Knoxville with getting our inserts – if you pick up at the store half of the inserts are missing and if you get it delivered you are constantly having to call and have them deliver another….very frustrating! There is a great girl in Knoxville who has helped me get started with couponing – she is at KnoxvilleOnADime.com – I think she teaches classes too!

          • Marina115

The people at customer service usually don't know what they're talking about. I had a kroger card for years and never got any mailers. So then I decided to get a new card and after a couple months of using it, I started getting mailers every month and even personalized coupons for items that I frequently buy (even produce)! If you've had your card for a long time, I suggest you open a new one and see what happens! Happy shopping!

      • JC

Like Pinkfairytoes and Amber said, you can use one manufacturer coupon per item. But you can't print as many as you want. Most printable coupons allow you to print two per computer. Just an FYI.

      • Mrh Scott

And you can also check your local libary the paper in mine also have coupons in it…you must check and see what day they come in, When i'm lucky i have no need to buy papers on sunday. Once you know when they come you must go that day cause thet go fast… Good Luck!!

      • 2kiddosmommy

As far as The Sunday paper not having Smart Source, I'm assuming you are talking about yesterday. I too am in Cookeville… I had been getting my papers on the way home from church and had noticed that when there was supposed to be multiple coupon inserts many times there was only one or if there was supposed to be 3 there was only 2 and I do look before I buy. But I would go through all the papers that were left and they were the same so I assumed the Tennesseean just didn't put the Redplum in that week for example. Well, yesterday, I went and got my papers on my way to church (picked up all four papers before 8am) and all four coupon inserts were in there. So, it may just be that some of your coupons were swiped from someone else :( You may have to start doing as I guess I am going to be doing from now on and getting my papers EARLY !!!

    • sarahcas

Just a heads up that the purex sale includes purex with zout (or it did at my store; I'm in the midatlantic region). After the $2 coupon that was available a few weeks ago on the purex site (you could either get a coupon or a free sample) it made for two free bottles of laundry detergent!

    • Jennykay75

The Annie's cereal coupon I found expired 3/31 – am I in the wrong place? Thanks for your help!

    • MommaInSC

Is there a limit on the number of $5 gift cards/cereal deal you can do in one transaction? Like can I buy 8 cereals, and get $10?

      • Jenni

It has to be separate transactions. I just separated my boxes into groups of four and told them they were separate orders and I got my gift cards no problem. Some cashiers may give you a hard time doing that, but the people who work ay my Kroger are great!

        • Savingsneeded

when do you get the $5 gift card, at the register after the transaction or on your Kroger card for the next purchase? I bought my cereal friday and did not get one at time of purchase but have read that some other people havent gotten theirs.

          • Steponmemcflurry

Kroger's ads run from Sunday to Saturday, so since you bought this past Friday you wouldn't have gotten the deal that started today (Sunday).

          • Mel

The cashier should have handed it to you. I would take your receipt back to customer service. One note… if you had any ecoupons, it might not have triggered the system to let the cashier know to give you the gift card. That's what happened to me (stinkin' ecoupons–I didn't even remember I had one on my card and I had a paper coupon I wanted to use instead, but that's another story) and the only thing the cashier could figure out was because of the ecoupon. Although you may have a problem because they can't know if you got a gift card or not. Maybe you could return the cereal and re-purchase it? Or maybe you'll get someone nice who believes you.

        • Amy Knoxville

Same here…just grouped my cereals and fiber bars by 4s. I had six transactions…and used the $5 gift cards on my larger purchase. My Kroger is really good about Coupons…depends on the manager and cashier. No problems here…

    • Momtokole

I'm new at this and I have a question…do Kroger ads not come out in the paper every Sunday? I bought three papers today, and none of them had one?

      • JDH

Mine always comes in the mail.

      • sarahcas

It depends on where you live. Some places, Kroger just doesn't put the ads in their paper. Other places, the ad might start a different week. You can always look online at Kroger's website for the current ad.

      • Ellen

I'm in the Delta region and mine always comes in the mail on Monday.

    • Honeybeeforeman

I have never been able to make the crunchproud site work (the link for Kettle Chips).

    • Shopgirlmgr

might want to check your krogers, the krogers in columbus today when went thur the line said they had a new policy and that they are no longer allowing you to use a ecoupon with a manufactor coupon and if you have it loaded on your card you are stuck useing the ecoupon they cant take it off your order ..

      • Ellen

This is a new policy that took place a few weeks ago. What most are doing is deleting the ecoupons unless there is not a paper coupon because the eq's dont double.

      • Leighb369

Our Kroger here in Hartselle has the same new policy. Someone else had recommended trying this: let them scan your items, then your paper coupons and then your Kroger card. I did this Saturday and was able to use both.

        • the kroger in starkville, ms lets me scan coupons first and then my kroger card. some of the ecoupons actually still come off too! try for the younger guy cashiers. they don't try to hassle you about it

    • krobs2009

Didn't see this one listed, may be a regional thing, but at King Soopers (Kroger) in the Denver metro area Starbucks coffee is $7.99/lb, use $1.50 off from 4/17 SS makes it $6.49.

    • Lauren

I've tried to access several of your printable coupons, but they are not available. I cannot find the $1.5/2 General Mills cereal or the $1/2 Cadbury Eggs. The $1/1 Xtra Laundry detergent says it has expired. I'm new to couponing and just started collecting my first set of coupons this week, so the printables interested me a lot; it was so disappointing that I couldn't access them.

      • Tammy E

Some if not all printable coupons have a print limit, so it is first come first served. You have to be quick with popular or high value coupons. Keep reading the blogs and when you see the coupon has been “reset,” it is time to jump on it! Hope it helps.

    • Stacey37055

I have also tried printing coupons from your site, with no luck ? do you know if there is an additional link to finding the XTRA coupons? thanks for all the wonderful info on your website!!!

    • I hope I don't sound like a dummy, but how do you get the coupons from the library? Would they only have 1 paper or will they have several? And they let you take the coupons from them? I never thought about going to the library, but I do visit a lot, because I read a lot. I know they keep a paper there, but I guess I assumed they would throw the ads and coupons out, and keep just the news articles. It would be great if I could go there and get the coupons from the AJC, since they have better coupons than my area does.

    • Does anyone know if there will be any unadvertised deals posted? The last couple of weeks that I have shopped at Kroger, as soon as they see my coupons in hand, their demeanor changes. I don't know what has gotten into them, they used to be so nice. Since their attitudes have changed, I only go for the acorn deals. Now, I buy my meats and produce from a local grocery store that gets their products from local farmers. It's a lot fresher and cheaper.

I've noticed this too. The last time I didn't even have that many and I got the look and sigh. And these are the same people falling all over themselves being nice in the past.

    • Taniaferrell

I have several good coupons for things in the kroger add for this week and many things in our ad not listed here

    • Jennifer

Does anyone know if the granola thins are part of the GM deal?

      • Nan

Here in Covington, GA they are. You can't eat just one of those they are so good! I bought 2 granola thins and 2 fiber one bars and I got the $5 card!

    • Lauren

Has anyone else tried the Mars candy deal? I tried today and instead of getting a $5 off your next order catalina, I got a $5 off the purchase of a gift card! Just wondering what I may have done wrong….

      • Rachel

That's what the catalina's for, Jenny got it wrong. I got one last week. Haven't tried to use it yet.

        • Lauren

Thanks, Rachel! If I'd known that in advance, I probably wouldn't have done the deal. Any plans for the use of your catalina?

    • Jimbarron366

The eq for the Quilted Northern tissue does not show up on the list, any ideas?

    • Britnee64

will kroger double $.55 coups to $1.00?

      • Mel

        Most of them will not.

      • Lifewithyould

my kroger actually doubles up to 60 cent coupons! so check with your local store

    • Scarletjewel21

Did anybody else find the 10 oz A1 not to be 2.99 but 3.49 on sale?

    • Marcia

I am so ill after my trip to Kroger this afternoon. I heard an ad on the radio for $15 Mars candy and get the $5 coupon. I had also seen it on here. I got $16 worth of candy and used a $2 coupon and a $5 gift card. That brought my total down to $9. The coupon did not print and when I asked about it at customer service, they told me it had to be $20 worth of candy and I must have heard the radio wrong. I was so disappointed, I asked them to return all the candy and give me my coupon and gift card back. I thought I was getting a good deal, but today was not my day. :(

      • I had the same problem and went to the customer service desk immediately after the cashier rang me up. They gave me $5 cash out of the Customer Service register.

      • Michelle

I had that problem too but unfortunately I was shopping close to midnight and nobody was around to help me. It almost didn't give me the GM $5 gift card deal either and the self-scan lady had to go through a bunch of crap to get it to award me it. I asked her about the Mars promotion and she claimed she knew nothing about it, same with another lady who came over. I didn't bother contacting the manager the next day but it did mess up my shopping not being able to get both those cards. I actually spent $16 and didn't get it. :(

    • Kayla

My Kroger will no longer allow you to stack manu. coupons with a store coupon. (Powell, TN)

      • Crystal

Bummer! I live in Powell too. I haven't stacked any manf & store coupons there lately. When did that start?

        • Bee

          At least a month ago.

    • Fairyandgnome

Did anyone else get the Birdseye coupon for 75/1? Bc I printed mine up and its 75/3… if so. what zip did you use?

    • Julie

HEADS UP GUYS!!! I was just told by Kroger Corporate (Atlanta) this morning that each store can create their own coupon policy and that each manager has the right to deny, limit and restrict ANY coupons.
I wanted to use the BOGO Kens Salad Dressing coupon with the 1.00 off 2 for the ones I was paying for and they told me that I had to chose which one to use. That I could not use them both. Even though my girlfriend had done the same deal at the same store the day before. Depends on the manager and cashier.

      GOOD LUCK!!!!

      • Cortney

if you just put the $1.00 off coupon with the other coupons you have… and then save your BOGO for the end… the register will let it through. But they have to ring up the $1.00 off coupon first.

      • Kelly

You can't use both because the $1 off 2 applies to both items. If it were $1 off 1, then you could because the BOGO applies to the one you're getting for free, then you can use the other coupon on the one you're paying for.

        • Val

          What Kelly said :)

        • I did it last week at my Kroger with no problems.

          • Guest

That's coupon fraud because it's using two manufacturer coupons on the same item.

    • Lmelancon32

FYI I went shopping yesturday and they told me they couldn't stack e coupons with regular manufactures coupons as of March 18th. They handed me back all my regular coupons and couldn't even check to see which was the better deal. I was quite aggrevated because I bought some of those items just because I could use both coupons.

      • Same thing happened to me, they took all my ecoupons and handed back my coupons. I made them stand there and show me what coupons they wouldn't take and what ecoupons prevented them, and I came home and cleared my ecoupons. Not worth it, since most are for a quarter off something while the paper coupon would have given me a dollar off!

        • Holly3443

I think Kroger is going to get a huge wake up call when they lose so much business because of their new policy. They will have to change it back eventually or you will see that Grocery chain closing stores….. Just my opinion.

      • Demeaka

I learned that about 2 weeks ago, and i had to use my mothers plus card, and for me I use the plus card for $0.10 off gas so I was giving away points since the e coupons dont double. I had to use my paper one's and the cashier started to treat me so bad! I'm slowly moving away from Kroger, I can't keep up with the policy changes.

And they claim they have never doubled e coupons, but I have store receipts showing that they did! All the manager could say was well “you got over on us”. Needless to say I have not been back to that kroger.
I'm trying to weather the storm the double coupons really helps my bottom line, but its getting harder and harder!

      • Cary

At least they gave you back your coupons! They didnt say a word to me and I found out when I left and had no proof of my coupons!

    • Pam

There was a time when I loved to shop at Kroger, but I don't go much anymore, even though there are two stores near my home. I can't keep up with all their policy changes on coupons. I am fortunate to have over grocery store chains nearby, so I usually go to them. Walmart, a store that I never liked before, is winning me over with an official coupon policy.

I am not an extreme couponer, but I do usually save 45-75 percent a week by using coupons. I will not go to a place that makes you jump through hoops in order to use coupons. I don't even bother to load ecoupons anymore, because of the new policies.

      • I feel exactly the same way – I am now trying out going to target for their good deals and getting the rest at Publix. It's a bit more expensive even with coupons but Publix has almost always wowed me with their customer service. At this point it's worth a few extra bucks to pay a store that keeps up with good coupon policies!!

    • mommydub

Does anybody know if baby Purex is included in the sale?

    • bcw77

Where do you get the Kroger My Magazine? Was this a mail out or is it something you can get in the store?

    • Benjamietaylor

how do i get the kraft food and family book like for the cream cheese q

    • guest

Wow I am so sorry to hear you guys' problems with Kroger. We recently moved to Ga and live near a Kroger now – never shopped at one before as previous state, FL, doesnt have them. I cannot tell you how much money we have saved shopping there and their customer service is always top notch! We were big Publix shoppers, and havent went inside a Publix here since we moved back in January. I never have any nasty looks from the cashier over my coupons or questions and one cashier even let me hold up her entire line because I messed up on a deal and she let me run back and exchange my cereal for the right one without any nasty comments or hesitation. Even the other customers were fine with the cashier and i and the manager looking over my receipt and the store sales paper to find out the mistake. I love Kroger and hubby even loves shopping with me when we need to go! They double coupons up to 50 cents and this is taped to the front window and i always ask before they begin to ring me up..

      • Lisa

I had a deal for .50 c off 1 l bottle of Dasani water almost making it free after double coupon, messed up as it said you had to buy produce….Kroger cashier went and got me 8 bananas and rung up each one seperately so I could get the deal on water ! I didn't have bananas at home and they were good price also. Also got 2 transactions for Nature Valley Granola and The new NV Granola Thins with Dark Chocolate (yum) and they were very pleasant and let me do 2 transactions. Lisa

      • Koupon_kutter

Glad to hear you had a good experience at a Kroger in GA, but I have lived in GA for 6 years and I can not stand Kroger. They just opened a new one by me so I figured I would check it out. Since it opened back in November I have shopped there maybe 4 times each time I came out more aggravated then the last. I stick by my Publix and only go to Kroger if I have no other choice.

Just left K-roger and scored!!! I found a Q that reads “Save $1 on the combined purchase of two 2-L or 1 multi pk bottles & $4 or more from the deli, meat, produce or frozen dpts”. Picked up the 6 pk bottles that's in the 4 day sale for $1.99, then picked up some luncheon meat that was on sale for $2.50 and had a $2/1 peelie!! I got the Cokes and the luncheon meat (2 packs to make the $4) for $2!!! Did it 4 times…….super excited!!! :)
p.s. found the $1 coke Q over by the chips….incase ya wanted to know!!!

When you add electronic coupons to your card you are adding manufacturer coupons, you can't expect kroger to lose money due to coupons, that is unfair. If you save more with your paper coupons then don't load electronic coupons. By doing both you are double dipping and using fraudulent coupons.

      • Wdstockguy

This is NOT true……Kroger gets reimbursed for every coupon used by the manufacturer. In most cases, they actually MAKE MONEY off of redeemed coupons…..if you read the fine print on your coupons, most of them say that the manufacturer will reimburse the grocer the value of the coupon PLUS 1cent! Kroger is not losing money by people using coupons…common misconception.

        • Bee

The stores have to pay a clearing house which likely eats up the additional cents provided above the value. Plus, it's money they don't receive immediately. Much slower processing than debit/credit cards and cash.

They may not be losing money but they aren't making it off coupons, especially when any fraud is factored in.

    • not-a-happy-shopper

just got screwed at kroger n decatur alabama. they no longer stack e's with paper. so my whole deal was shot and spent too much money. i will clear off my card will not use e-coupons anymore. publixs here i come you got all my business now

    • Whit

Is it ok to stack manufacturer coupons? Let's say you have one coupon for $1 off detergent from sunday paper and you had another $2 off from a magazine or another source. Will stores like Kroger allow you to stack those? Or are you only allowed to stack a store coupon with a manufacturer?

      • Thiamaria

only store and MQ… but you're lucky if you ever have a store Q from Kroger on non- store brand products. No retailers allow you to use 2 MQs on the same products. Sometimes they will allow a B1G1 MQ w/a MQ $/1 (like .40/1), since the coupons “attaches” to the free product, but your mileage may vary on that.

Ok, after reading all of the comments today (and for the last few weeks) I finally emailed kroger. I said it was great they were following their own policies, now. I also said they would keep me as a regular customer if they would have their tech department program their computers to allow cashiers to take ecoupons off. (highlight and delete, basically) Not all ecoupons can be removed. Once they are added, they are there until they are used or expire. This whole ordeal is just stupid. All they have to do is a little reprogramming to give us, the shopper/their revenue an option. PLEASE email kroger and ask them to reprogram their computers. Or come up with your own idea………..But please, email them and let them know.

      • june

I ment take ecoupons off of an order, not the card.

    • Tnrxsls

Hey! Can someone help me… I have the $0.50 coup for Dunkin Hines Brownies, and I swear I read Kroger had them for $1.00 this week…but no… does anyone know what I read… maybe I dreamed it… it is chocolate, after all! Thanks paying it forward!!! SDC

After reading through many of the comments on here about using paper & ecoupons at Kroger, I was a little surprised. I'm sorry to hear about everyone's issues with the store; my experience has been nothing like that at all. I live just outside Atlanta, GA. and I've always loved shopping at Kroger. Even as of just a few days ago, my Kroger lets me use manu coupons in addition to ecoupons on my kroger plus card..and I have never had a single ecoupon not come off at checkout. Even when I did the $5 gift card GM cereal deal, I used Manu coupons AND ecoupons and still got the $5 giftcard and my cashier was even able to use it on that transaction. I simply ring up my items, type in my phone number, and then hand over my paper coupons. I have never had a single problem at Kroger, in fact, it's the only store where I don't feel like I'm inconveniencing everyone by using coupons. Korger cashiers; young, older, male and female, have all been fast and friendly and make the whole process smooth and actually enjoyable.
