Did anyone find the Marie's Pie Glaze in their store? I looked in the produce section and asked but the employees had no idea if they even carried it. Any hints where you found it would be helpful…Thanks!

      • malou

        I couldn't find it either

        • I found it in my store in Knoxville, TN. It was in the produce section at the end of one of the stand alone displays of fruit (I think it was a citrus display). Our store has fruit boxes stacked on their sides to decoratively act as shelves & they were stacked in there. It was hard to see them. I almost missed them.

      • MissyinWV

Did you try where the canned pie filling is? Usually that's near the canned fruit in my store – maybe the glaze would be there????

      • Sscloninger

how about in the baking isle?

      • Liz

I just came back from my spree at Kroger and my LAST item I had listed was the pie glaze….couldn't find it either. I looked in the baking aisle, organic section, and near the marie's dressing…..nothing! Maybe some stores just don't carry it. However, I did have my best EVER transaction tonight with the mega event and all my coupons and ecoupons….went from $299 to $51!!!! The cashier made a copy of my receipt so he could show people haha! I love it!!! :)

        • gardengirl

          great job!!!!

          • Liz

thank you!!! my husband really helps me out a lot too. i do all the organizing of the deals, and he prints off all my online coupons for me and cuts them. we're a great team :)

      • LaDonna

i found it in the produce department at the end of a cooler where they have shelves

    • Liz

Is the kraft Catalina still available? I thought it expired on the 15th? Thanks!

      • Sdavisva

I believe it expired on the 15th. I completely 'missed' it, as I don't normally shop till the end of the week.

        • Megster77

I went on the 15th and it still didn't print.

    • Mechlingfamily

Is the Kraft Catalina still going on? I bought coupons and THEN read on last week's comments that it wasn't printing. Maybe Jenny knows if and when they will bring it back. :)

    • MissyinWV

I have to tell you…you have the best coupon match-ups of any blog that I watch!!! You always have coupons listed that nobody else has!

    • Me

I can't seem to get the velveeta coupon. I tried several different zip codes.

    • Lalawhat

where do you get the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet

      • Jen

I asked at the pharmacy in 2 Krogers. The first said “those coupons have all expired” and didn't give me any booklets. The second handed me 2 with no problems. I don't know what was going on at the first place??????

    • Guest

On the get $5 off your next purchase when you buy $20 of certain kraft foods, is that based on the price before mega deal savings or after?

      • sarahcas

It would be before, but I think that catalina ended last week.

      • Lisabluedevil

Before. It worked for me no problem.

      • Liz

Kraft catalina is over. I wish it would have been more than just 10 days.

    • TraciM

Has anybody run across this yet? I found (at Publix, on the Powerade Display) a neck ringer coupon (exp. 12-31-11) for Get 5 Additional Free Powerades when you purchase 10. Ok, great coupon. Anyway, I tried using it at Kroger today — my order was 15 Powerades, 5 cokes. Handed cashier/asst. mgr. the coupon and she said that Kroger was Not accepting this particular coupon. ??? I told her it was a manu. q. She said there was something that had come down not to take this coupon because it was under cost ???? Really??? Under who's cost? I told her whatever and said I would call the kroger office. First of all, Kroger put the powerades on sale; it is a legit manufacturer coupon; Kroger will get the money back for the coupon (plus .08 cents — I told her this also); and Kroger is probably getting a Rebate from Powerade to have the stuff on sale……..just made me irritated !

      • Peatra

I used for of these today. The cashier did not want to but when the manager came over, he told her that the store manager had said to just take them since they are out there. So I guess it just depends on your store.

        • Peatra

          *four

      • Bauercandace

I have these also, and my Kroger takes them. On top of that, they take the 5 free ones off at .99 a piece, so in the end I get 15 Powerades for $5. You have to buy 30 for it to work out at the correct price, though, since they ring up the $5 off of 10, not 15. So buy 30, use 2 Buy 10 get 5 free coupons, and in the end you get 30 Powerades for $10!

      • Desiree

There is no point in arguing or pointing anything out to a minimum wage employee who has no power over anything. Call corporate, post it on their face book, AND email them. Then get your friends, family, and anybody else who will to do the same thing. Point out that Walmart will accept the coupons and match their prices. THEY WILL GET REIMBURSED FOR THE COUPONS. And dont let them lie to you about that. I manage a store and we can manually punch in the prices of the item if the coupon is more. That is our COMPANY policy. And Kroger could do the same thing if they wanted. DG lets you have the overage. And so does WM. If they can do it, anybody can.

    • Yuppiepup

How often does Kroger have the Mega Sales?? I am going to Tennessee first of next month and wanted to take advantage of the lower grocery prices as well as double couponing…..Here in Florida, retails are so much higher and Publix doesn't double coupons…….just wondering if it is the same time every month or only on occasion…Thanks so much for all you do!!!

      • Liz

they usually have some sort of mega event about every 5-6 weeks and they last for 2 weeks at a time.

      • Loyal2disney

I am in East TN. Liz is right that Kroger usually runs a Mega Event about every 6 weeks or so, but it is different items participating in the Mega Events each time. For example, this one has a lot of Kraft items participating and the next one may have a lot of P & G items or something else with it.

    • Ecenteprises

What price is the Land of Lakes half and half? On the top it says $1.99 and on the bottom $2.49.

      • Liz

I just came from Kroger about 30 minutes ago, and I bought the Land O Lakes half and half for $1.99….after my 75 cent off coupon, it was $1.24.

        • Liz

Oh, and an ecoupon for 55cents came off too! So, it was actually only 69cents!!!

    • malou

So, here is newbie question for anyone that can answer me. On the corner of the Chips Ahoy coupon it says redeem at Publix even though its a manufacturers coupons. Will Kroger still take it? I would love to use this coupon!

      • Laura

My experience is that Kroger never takes a coupon with another stores name on it. I am in Tennessee and I have tried to use manufacturer coupons for Target at multiple stores. They have never taken them for me.

      • Leaz

the way I understand it is if a cpn has three barcodes, it is a mfr cpn and can be used anywhere. Or if it says “mfr cpn” at the top. You can use those anywhere. The real deal is when you can find a store cpn AND a mfr cpn because at some places you can use them both at the same time on the same item. This works out most at Publix for me.

      • Lisabluedevil

Yes, they should b/c it is a manufacturer's coupon.

        • guest

But they don’t because it has the other store’s name on it. Kroger won’t get reimbursed for it which is why they don’t take it.

      • jhoran

Kroger does not accept manu. q's with another store's logo.

      • Liz

white out the Publix name since you know it's a regular manufacturer coupon that starts with a 5 under the UPC. then, just make a new copy of it and throw the one with white out away. nothing dishonest about it…just avoiding having to tell them how dumb they are. lol (j/k)

        • Krogershopper

It *could* be considered altering the coupon and cause the store to not be reimbursed.

          • Liz

maybe, but i highly doubt it. as long as the UPC is good and you're not duplicating the same coupon and trying to use the same one twice, i don't feel bad about it at all. i'm 99% sure they'll reimburse the store. i'm just avoiding the hassle of *possibly* dealing with someone who is uneducated about their store's coupon policy. it makes my trips so much more pleasant lol.

          • Bee

It's stated on bricks (and the majority of others) coupons that it's coupon fraud to copy. I'm sure the defense could be used that only one was copied, but I really wouldn't want to run that risk.

I've often wondered if some stores do not like taking the manufacturer coupons with retailer name on them because when they get to the clearinghouse, someone may see the name “Publix” for instance and automatically give that store credit. I'm probably reaching.

Anyway, I'm not the coupon police and I just read a lot of the fine print, so if it's worth it to you…..

            • guest

No Bee, you’re not reaching. You’re absolutely right. If Kroger takes a Publix coupon, Kroger doesn’t get the credit for it. Or they only get 1/2 credit. If stores don’t follow the manufacturer rules, they lose the ability to play the coupon game…if customers don’t follow the same rules, they too should lose that ability to play the game and since so many people try to abuse the couponing rules, Kroger has to be more strict. The policies are pretty clear. One cannot continue to play ignorant and then complain when they don’t get their way.

          • WLC

you might be interested to know that Kroger ( this was true when I worked there) uses a service that pays Kroger per POUND for the coupons…they do not actually get reimbursed for each and every coupon at face value…Our store was on a “list” of stores that had to be audited because “trash” was being included in the bags of coupons that were sent to the service!!!

    • guest

where do you get the “Kroger My Magazine” ?

      • SciFiMom

I don't know… sorry. But, I'd sure like to know the answer too. I have an online account and do ecoupons, but don't get it.

Does anyone have an answer? Thanks!

      • Mendy

Make sure your Kroger card is registered with your address attached to it. Kroger mails out coupons to you based on your spending–the more you shop there, the more often and better coupons you'll receive. There's no guarantee you'll receive it (some months I do, some I don't).

        • AuthorMom

Actually this isn't true in my experience. I've had a Kroger card for years now and our family has spent quite a lot there. The only mailings we get are our points rewards which also has some store and man q's bundled with it. That was until I called customer service and asked them why I'm seeing all these Kroger mailers online (Southern Savers) and I haven't received not one. The lady said, oh I'll add you to our (forgot the name) mailing list. It's a separate mailing list which is different from normal Kroger card mailings.

        • Bee

The spending driven coupons only arrive at my home quarterly. I don't know if it's the same for all Kroger stores, but the cashiers I know who work there told me they get them quarterly as well.

However, I do get a bunch of promotional type mailers from Kroger concerning specific products and meal ideas, which always contain coupons.

    • Jennymac21

I went to Kroger on Friday in Durham, NC, and as I was checking out, a lady who I assumed to be a manager came around to all of the cashiers and told them not to accept more than two like coupons. I had a few items that I had three coupons for, and she let my cashier go ahead and use them all, but told him not to let anyone else use more than two. I have never known Kroger to have a limit, so is this something new in all Krogers, or were they just being difficult?

      • Kgood

I was told the same thing by the Kroger in Irmo, SC last Sunday. However, it was not posted anywhere in the store nor was it in the advertisement. When I pointed that out to the manager on duty, they let me use all of them.

      • Margoren

Same thing happened to me today at the Kroger in Yorktown, VA.

      • Liz

wow, that's crazy…and dumb. if it's a legit coupon, then what do they care. i have 4 computers, so you better believe i'm printing 2 from each computer. i used 10 of the same on 3 or 4 products tonight. i buy multiples of the same off ebay too from different sellers. i think those specific krogers must be getting gypped by people copying the same coupon and trying to use it more than once….which ruins it for everyone who is doing it the honest way. hopefully you can find a kroger that isn't enforcing that policy!!!

      • Liz

My Kroger only lets me use 1 coupon per like item, which means I have to check out multiple times if I have more than one coupon for the same things…. so frustrating! How many times can you do the Buy 10, get $5 off? If I do separate check-outs, will I get $5 each time I buy 10 of the Mega items?

        • Liz

you can do the buy 10 get $5 as many times as you want and you don't have to do do separate check outs. their computer keeps track for you…just make sure to keep counts of your multiples of 10. I had 70 items in the mega event in one check out tonight and got all $35 saved!

        • Desiree

Omg! One per item?? I do believe their coupon policy states FOUR! I would call corporate and throw a fit!

      • Pevadiva

Mine is only 3 per like item now.

      • Krogershopper

I am in the SE region and recently received an email reply to my question about their coupon policies. It says, under general coupon policy “Only two (2) internet coupons per manufacturer, per product, per visit, per day are accepted.”, and “There is a limit of one (1) manufacturer coupon per item”. There is no other indication of a limit on the number of coupons or like coupons that you can use per transaction EXCEPT for where they state: “The store manager has the right to accept, decline or limit the quantity of coupons or items used or purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day.”

Unfortunately, you may end up arguing for nothing if they truly take that stance on it. You may consider putting a call in or going in to meet the manager to discuss the policy. It *might* be that they are having folks coming in with fake q's OR stuff flying off the shelf too fast to restock and getting complaints. You may be able to work it out with the manager that they can check your q's to see that they are all legit or if it's a stock issue, maybe they would be open to special ordering quantities for you. I have done that before with great success.

      • Bee

Ok, while I think it best for everyone not to attempt to use e-coupon with paper coupon anymore, I think the rest of the “policy” is being loosely interpreted and unfairly restricted by many stores.

I can certainly understand why a store would wish for people not to clear shelves. However, by promoting “Mega Events” and “10 for 10” sales, Kroger acts as if they want us to come in and buy bulk/multiples. Of course, I am not talking about going to some kind of extreme, but if they say “10 for 10” why on Earth can't we buy 10 and use 10 legitimate coupons? In addition, my Kroger does not have stocking issues. If my Kroger can stay stocked, so can other stores.

I believe in following the rules presented by stores, but I believe this is one instance where I would ask politely to speak with someone in management and relay how this coupon “policy” is at odds with Kroger promotions.

However, I do wish to add that I can almost see the point concerning internet printed coupon limits. Unfortunately, some people do commit fraud and while some people may have multiple computers, accepting 2 at least somewhat limits the store's liability. Because in the end, if they suffer huge fraud losses, they will pass the cost to the customers.

Let me contradict myself one more time before I shut up, LOL…I have never really understood how stores enforce “limits.” A person can always go through line again, come back later, go to another location. Until they start enforcing limits that the computer can recognize by shopper card (like CVS), any limits are pretty much artificial. If there is a limit in a store, I just police myself (maybe they rely on that), but so far my Kroger does not seem to be interested in these type limits. However, I only ever go in with a maximum of 3 IP coupons. I did that at Ingle's the other day, and while they let me use them, the cashier examined them THOROUGHLY (and they were bricks).

      • Carolina Coupon Mom

Which store in Durham? I am over by Hwy. 54 and have not had a problem.

      • Hope

I just want to know if these people who work at Kroger are too dumb to realize that they get paid back for these coupons by the manufacturers with an additional handling fee!!!!

    • Elizabeth

Can you do the “Mega Deal” multiple times with separate check-outs?

      • SciFiMom

Sure… I've done it several times this week :)

      • Liz

you can do it all in one check out if you want…just make sure to keep counts of your multiples of 10. I had 70 items in one check out tonight and got all $35 saved!

      • Sdavisva

I saw the suggestion on here to place groups of 10 inside your reusable shopping bag. I think it works great. Then when I checkout, I always tell the cashier how many Mega's should come up. That way they can help me double check at the end. BUT if you ever mess up, customer service can help you. Say you miss-counted and were short by two. They let you buy two more Mega Items and full sale price and then give you $5 mega credit. I've messed up more than I care to remember!

    • Cayoung_8

      I found 75 cents off 2 powerade hang tags. 49 cents (mega sale price) x 2 = 98 cents – 75 cents = 23 cents/ 2 powerades = 12 cents each. They gave me no problem. I bought 18 and my sister bought 16 with no problems.

    • Patsywaites

Can someone tell me what date does the Kraft Catalina deal ends? I thought it was 3/15/11.Get $5 off your next purchase WYB $20 in participating Kraft products
      Thanks Pat

      • quicksilver369

I bought $20 worth at Kroger on 3/17 and the catalina did not print so you maybe right.

        • Farcoup

Thanks I went today and didn't get the catalina either. BUMMER!!

      • jhoran

        It was 3/15/11

      • WynetteC

I so wish I would have seen this before running out for my big shopping order tonight. I may not have spent all my time trying to make my mega item count come out right as well as trying to meet the $20 requirement for the separate catalina deal. Mine did not print tonight and then an associate tried remembering that they thought it had already ended. But I will call to check at the catalina number someone listed to see if this is the case. I will use these products none the less.

But it's okay and I will let it go. I am still loving shopping at Kroger and their low prices. Their store brand prices, meat and produce are very reasonable and are usually lower than the local Wal-mart.

        Thanks for this website Jenny.

    • Amy

Anyone get a virus detection when trying to print the Country Crock coupon?

      • Bianca

        Nope.

      • Hotmama107

Yes Amy I got that..all I done was disable the anti-virus for about 10 minutes

    • Cheryl

Shopped at Kroger (Tullahoma, TN) on Friday morning and ecoupons along with manufacturer were taken off with no problem. Went back later in the day and register beeped on manufacturer q because I had an e. I knew it was only a matter of time after reading comments on SS. The deals were great while they lasted tho!

      • Orangecouponlady

I shop at that Kroger's too and they wouldn't let me stack.

    • Eaddy

Where can you pick up the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet, is it at Kroger?

    • Rrbarr

Found at Kroger in Griffin GA:
Purina One Brand Beyond Dry Cat Food 16 oz carton $2.99
      -FREE up to $3.00 Q SS 3/13
      =FREE

Scored 10 free boxes of cat food!

P.S. Did not find these at the CVS or Rite Aid, here in Griffin, as advertised on another site.

      • Pepsi1williams

thanks for posting picked mine up today and donated it to animal shelter

      • WLC

You are correct about CVS and Rite not having the Cat Food….I did get rain checks at Rite Aid. for the cat food.. I don't have a cat, but was planning on helping out a co worker with it!

    • loudlibrarian

Has anyone tried to use the Chips Ahoy coupon? It has Publix on it, and instead of saying manu. coupon at top, it says retailer coupon? Also, can you use coupons that say “Target Web Coupon” at Kroger?

      • Lisa

If it says “Retailer Coupon” it is a Manufacturer's Q, since it has a bar code on it and they can scan it…a true Publix coupon has a “LU” number that has to be entered. They may try to give you a hard time about it, just ask them to scan it.
The ones that say Target Web Coupon are Target coupons.

        • Rlewis614

My Kroger in Nashville, TN would not accept it. I told them it was a manufacturer coupon and they still would not.

          • Couldn't you just go to self checkout for these items?

            • KellieTX

I wish…LOL. When I go to self checkout at the Krogers in Dallas you have to give your coupons to the cashier that “monitors” the self checkout area. She then pulls your order up on her screen and takes off the coupons. I have only done self checkout twice at Kroger and I HATE it.

    • jen

With the mega event, do you get a $5 discount in addition to a lower price on the item when you buy 10?

      • Amy L

No, Jenny states that the prices reflected here for the Mega event are AFTER the discount for buying 10 items. HTH!

    • ireneY

The Red Gold tomato Qs seem to be gone from their website.

      • Sandee

It's still there but is only available in certain areas. If anyone is able to get it, they're $.49 wyb 10 participating so $.02 overage on two cans. I got four cans last week.

    • Samantha

Am I able to use multiple Ronzoni pasta (3) for the Mega sales event? They are for different varieties of the same product…

      • Amysuarez7

yes I did i bought 5 boxes and used 3 cupons

      • laurieintn

        yes

I wrote corp. just like alot of people on here… Still did not answer why they are having to inforce this policy since other stores will let you stack along with taking some compet. store coupons….. it just does not make sence…

Thank you for contacting The Kroger Co. regarding our coupon policy. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Our coupon policy is one coupon per item and stacking of e coupons and paper coupons is not permitted. This has been in our policy for a while but has just recently been enforced in the stores.

The downloaded coupons that are added to your card at http://www.kroger.com can be removed from your account. Please let me know if you need further details on how to remove a digital coupon from your Plus Card.

      Sincerely,

Where is the $1 pepperoni? All we could find was $3.79 – for the 8 ounce packages. Any ideas?

      • Bjsurles

In the deli or a separate display in the meat dept. It is not required to be chilled.

      • Sdavisva

In one store I found it near the seafood in it's own little cardboard display. It's the 3 oz size, large round slices. They also have salmi on the same display.

In my regular store I looked near the seafood and couldn't find it anywhere! Hope you can find it! HTH!

I didn't get my $1.50 catalina for the Annie's dressings. What should I do?

I picked up the Sunday AJC newspaper yesterday and just finished going through it and it didn't have any coupons in it. Can I exchange the paper for a new one? Any one else have or had this proplem before. Do they still carry the Sunday paper on Monday? I don't feel like going out again today.

      • Jo R

Just posted the same thing – soooooo frustrating!

    • Jo R

I'm posting this here because I need to vent! This is the third time I have bought the AJC from Kroger only to find NO inserts! I don't think it is an error by the AJC- I think someone has been taking out the inserts! I bought the double paper and only got 1 set- I guess I have to complain to the manager. This NEVER happens at Publix- one more reason they will get my business!

      • Lkrawson3

Before I check out infront of the cashier I will say hey I want to make sure the coupons are not taken out and just glance through it to make sure some are in there…I always buy the double also… back a few weeks ago I only had coupons in one of the papers not both….

      • colleen

I always check my papers before I buy them.

      • WLC

Kroger has nothing do to with the coupons in the paper. A AJC delivery person, comes in and bundles the double stacks, and puts the special band on them. Good heavens , check them before you buy them.

      • Carolina Coupon Mom

I have been trying to figure out a way to get multiple coupon inserts without buying multiple papers or spending time perusing recycle bins. : ) This past Sunday I went to a local hotel that I know receives my paper (Raleigh News & Observer) and asked if they minded that I remove the coupons. The desk clerk was kind enough to say “absolutely not” and I very appreciatively removed them from the 15 papers and left on cloud nine. I know have my source and am thrilled. Two weeks ago I also had problems with coupons not being in the papers. No more!

      • Annodal24

I always check the paper before leaving the parking lot, if they are not in there I just go back in and Krogers let me get another paper, actually I've found any store will just let me get another paper :)

    • Nikita

I know the coupon policy change was last weeks news but thought Id share the response I just got back from writing to corporate – apparently it has always been the policy to not allow stacking and kroger stores just never enforced it until now.

    • Tracydegaetano

How do you get the pharmacy booklet or the home mailers?

      • Ask the pharmacist in Kroger for the booklet. Call customer service to ask to be added to the list to receive the home mailers. The operator knew that I wasn't on the list when she looked at my account. Then she added me. FTR, I haven't received anything, but it's only been a week.

    • Rhonda

FYI, the Kroger on Presidential in Macon will not double internet coupons.

      • AD

        None of them do.

        • nackle78

          mine will.

      • Mine does too. I've never heard of any store that doesn't double internet q's provided they do the same to normal ones, but maybe I'm too new at this.

    • hboisseau

Went to use my $1 off 5 Lean Gourmet Michelina's frozen meals, but the store told me the coupon was fraudulent because it did not have an “encrypted barcode” on the top right. I printed it directly from the manufacturer's web site…any thoughts?

    • Padenash

I went to Kroger on Sunday and bought 50 cans of the Pedigree dog food, and 18 boxes of the Rozini pasta. The manager himself opened up a lane to do my items. He did not give me any problems, and I had 4 WIC transactions to go with it. Along with my screaming baby. But he did actually mistype the Pedigree coupons and entered it as a free coupon with 1.09 off. So I did get all of my dog food and pasta for free, plus overage for the other items I bought. A total of 71 mega items. Spent $19.77 and saved $103.78.

      • Leighjosh5

Thats wonderful to hear! i did the pasta too, I didnt have any coupons for it. so i printed 3 online. can you print more than that and use them ? or did you have some from paper?

        • Padenash

All of my coupons were from the inserts. I am not able to print any coupons at work….): I do notice a good bit though that Kroger is not always stocked with everything. But the earlier you go the more likely you are to find what you are looking for.

    • Pepsi1williams

chex mix is 4 for 5 dollars and a loadable coupon and one in paper, make it like 1for 2 bags

    • Tleopard79

Looks like Kroger has finally lost me as a regular customer. I have been shopping at Publix the last few weeks and only discovered the coupon change, that does not allow a manufacture coupon and the ecoupon to be stacked for one product. I have been loving the B1G1 deals at Publix. My only problem is that my oldest daughter has milk and egg allergies, and Kroger carries a few hard to find products…but that is all they will be getting from me!

      • WLC

You should shop where you are happy, Saving the most money makes me happy and Publix has higher prices and they do not double coupons. In addition they are not as convenient as Kroger when it comes to location as well as hours of operation.

    • shops2much

Purchased Pedigree can dog food tonight, received a Catalina coupon for 1.50 off of 3 cans AND a 1.50 off your next order coupon!!! YES

    • Totomac

Kroger in Irmo just lost me as a customer. I was in there on Saturday. I got $300 worth of groceries for $140. no problems at all! I went to Kroger on St. Andrews and got more pasta deals that matched up with the mega event. Again, NO problems. Only thing is they were out of the Smart Balance Oil, which I really wanted. So I go home, fix supper and my daugther and I went to Irmo Kroger at 11pm. First they are cutting off the lights, making it hard for these old eyes to see. I get my 12 bottles of oil along with numerous other items. My lovely easter cookies, ice cream, toppings, soda.. typical junk food for a midnight run lol. To my chagrin, I get to the checkouts and yhou are forced to use self checkout after 11, no other lanes are open. I physically ring up my entire order, enter my kroger card id then she takes my stack of coupons. She immediately says you can't stack, you can not use an ecoupon and a hard copy coupon on same items. Then she took it too far, saying you can't use more than 2 internet coupons!! Do what?! I have 12 Oils, and litigimate coupons for .75 off each. She was NOT going to let me get my discount. I said well can you tell me if the ecoupon or the hard copy coupon was worth more to me (generally the ecoupon is less since it doesn't double) She said we can't tell that, you would need to review. She said we can void and you re-ring and use another kroger card member number. Hello, aren't we only allowed 1 memeber number per household. I said you know I'm about ready to walk out and leave this all with you. She said well that's your choice if you want to. I said yes it is my choice, I no longer need your services. Then I had to ask her to give me my coupons back! She wasn't even going to let me get those. I said I understand if you have rules to go by, but my point is, there needs to be consistency. I was in here on Sat and just 4 hours earlier in the other Kroger and there werw no problems. Kroger is going down hill very fast. They have definitely lost me. Not to mention, their customer service is the worst in Columbia. The over stuff bags, casing holes and bursting, they talk personal dating issues with other employess while you're checking out…. they could learn a thing or two from The Pig and Publix

      • Totomac

I apologize for the typos and run-on sentences. As you can see I'm very frustrated. I did know about the ecoupon supposed to be used alone and not in conjunction with one on hand but up until now it's always taken both. It was her attitude and the way she went about it. Plus the fact I had make 2 shopping trips recently (2 days ago and 4 hours prior). They need to be sure all employees enforce the same rules then there would not be this confusion. And if they do start inforcing this they will indeed cause me to use Bilo and Publix alone

I sure hope she had fun putting back all my cold items. The subtotal before ecoupons was $110.. then thats when the poltergeist begun lol. Please share your epxeriences. I want to contact corporate but I'm afraid they won't undestand my point. I know they will say well that IS our policy.. but my point is either everyone is on the same bandwagon and inforcing policy or everyone should let it ride.

        • shops2much

sorry you were disappointed, but look at it this way….you did get to “beat the system” twice before hitting the policy wall! I'm a half full kind of gal!!!

      • Eharris1975

I totally understand your frustration. I experienced a similar event last week at Kroger, except they told me that they didn't take any internet coupons (my two were the one's printed directly off Weight Watchers site). I was there a little after 10 pm and also found there to be no lanes open. I spent 30 minutes shopping and picked up 24 WW ice cream desserts (which I'm sure melted before being put back on the self). I too left with nothing and have not been back. The manager actually yelled at us when we asked for her name. I wrote to corporate and have yet to get a response. I'm done w/ Kroger.

      • Bee

Wow…I know your frustration. You just described a trip to Wal-Mart for me…right across-the-street from Kroger. The Kroger I go to is so nice…the store is nice…the people are nice. They seldom run out of sale items. If so, they gladly give me a rain check (rare that I have to get one) and they don't make me buy 10 to get the rain check price.

I have never left stuff sitting at Kroger. I know most of the people working there, and they all follow policy but if they need to tell you about a policy change they do it VERY politely. I have yet to see any other customers get upset there, either.

I hate self-check. I feel like if they need someone to police you as you do it, they should do it themselves. Not to mention that I don't get paid to ring up my groceries. But our Kroger always has at least one cashier at all times.

    • Ecohen8928

There is a $0.50/2 coupon on http://www.totinos.com towards the bottom. Using this coupon as well as your ecoupon, you can get 2 bags of pizza rolls for only $1.39. That’s awesome!

    • Leighjosh5

Hello All…Im a SAHM and I have 5 children. I have just started my coupons a few weeks ago. I am in love with them. lol. Thank you for this web site.. It really helps me! I have a few question, how do I get the Kroger mailer, and the Kraft mailer? I do the Sunday adds, print some from home and ecoupons. Just dont no where else to get coupons from. Thankyou in advance!

if you aren't using your Kroger plus card ( and have it registered with your address) call 1800Krogers and register your current address. The more you shop the more they will send you. Also ask your neighbors if they use their coupons, or if they can give you the ones they aren't using. Find restaurants and hotels and ask them if you may have the coupon inserts…Spread the word and people will save coupons for you! It takes effort and patience.

      • Jennifer

I emailed Kroger from a contact link on their website saying that I would love to shop at their store more, if I received more Kroger coupons. About 6 weeks later I started getting Kroger mailers and have been getting them ever since. So, it is worth a try.

    • Jscpns

I clicked on the printable for $1 off Velveeta Kraft Product and when it pulled up coupons.com the coupon was not there. Am i doing something wrong?

    • Msme

Went to Kroger this morning so here's what I got:

      20 boxes Ronzoni brands pasta
      1 Sunny delight
      1 Smart Balance Peanut butter
1 Pkg Stayfree Pads (had a peelie coupon)
      5 bottles Franks Hot Sauce
      12 Bottles Poweraide

      Total Out of Pocket $9.89

      88% savings

They had no problem taking my internet coupons for the pasta.

Thanks so much for all I've learned from you Jenny!

      • Leticiag30

How do u manage to get so many q of the same item?? I tried to print more than 2 times for Ronzoni and it said I reached my limit..

        • JessicaJ

You have to use multiple computers.

      • couponmonster

how did you get some many??? the coupon says one per transaction, and when I went to check out with 4 boxes and 2 coupons, the computers rejected and said I had already reached my coupon limit. I could only get 2 free boxes of pasta…:(

    • Stillacanesfan

Well I went to my kroger this morning only to find out that they do not stack coupons. You can not use an e-coupon and manufacter coupon or a store coupon which I thought was ridiculous. They should at least take a store and manufactuer coupon most stores I have been to will at least do that.

      • CouponingJenny

Yeah, it was a disappointment for me, too.

      • jhorn

Those e-coupons are actually manu. q's and not store coupons.

    • Bobobear3

Was told last week our Kroger (athens, GA ) will no longer be accepting both e-coupons and paper coupons. Apparently if you have an e-coupon it will reject your paper coupon. Was wondering if anyone else had heard this as well?

      • CouponingJenny

I heard it at the store when it rejected my coupon because of the e-coupon and rejected a coupon for overage (the coupon was more off than the product price). Goodbye Kroger, Hello Publix! I DISLIKE the new Kroger coupon system.

      • Pam Merrell

Try scanning the card first, then give your paper coupons at the end. I heard this helps.

        • Sarahsarah

I just got back from Kroger and did this, it didn't work. When she scanned the paper coupon, it showed “already used”. So the system took my ecoupon off my card but knew it and would take the paper one too.

      • Stillacanesfan

That happened to me yesterday. It made me mad because I had better coupons in my hand. I was trying to use the Old spice buy one deodorant and get a free bath wash. the cashier said it already used an e-coupon so you can't use your paper coupon. This is in Douglasville GA.

      • cdh1

Which Athens store was it? They still did both at the jefferson Kroger a few days ago.

    • Kateowens

I bought 16 boxes of Ronzio pasta for the food bank (four other items to get the 20 for mega bucks). I did see the 5.00 X 2 off. But the pasta rang up at .99 each. Is that the price BEFORE mega bucks? I used the coupons listed to get the free at .49 each. I want to make sure this is correct because I walked out of the store spending more than I thought. Thanks

      • Rgbarron01

$0.99 is the price before the $0.50 each discount (i.e., $5.00 for purchasing 10), yielding a net of $0.49 each. The $1/2 coupon gives you an additional $0.50 off per item…essentially a $0.01 overage per box of pasta. If your coupons were deducted (no reason they shouldn't have as there are no doubling or e-coupon issues), then the higher spending costs must've come from your other 4 items. Hope this helps!

        • Kateowens

That what I did. I thought i did it right. I am sure the over spending was from the few things I add plus I was hurrying since hubby and kids were in the car. This Kroger is know for not ringing things up right. That is why I was checking.
I like to donate to our food bank when I can but only when it doesn't effect my budget.
          thanks!

          • Patty

If you used the coupons for the Garden Delight variety these were moneymakers. With these you had to buy 1 box to get $1 off and when after .50 off for mega deal is a profit of .51.

    • luv2shop

Worst shopping trip yet at Kroger. Went in for what was to be a quick trip before work and it actually took forever. It must have been a new cashier because he looked at my Qs and said “you have too many coupons” and gave them back to me! We had to go through them one at a time and with the 2 e-coupons I had and the overages that (now) will not go through… UGH! He didn't understand that if you have coupons that look the same, they have different barcodes and can still be used. In the end I got what I came to get but what a hassle.

      • That happened to me as well – I want to go to Kroger for the cheaper gas I earn, but they make it hard! I love Publix and they are across the street from each other, makes it harder and harder to make myself turn into Kroger's lot ;)

    • Newnan_dave

just a heads up I found a man q at CVS tonight on the refrigerator door for single sodas and milk (tearpad). It's $1/3 powerade or powerade zero. with the $5 off 20 deal you get them 3 for .49, Im stocking up for the kids summer games!

      • Caroline

Thanks for posting! I forgot that I picked up two coupons at CVS the other day! I'll get 6 this afternoon if they're not sold out.

    • Jill

I had a great Pedigree canned dog food deal yesterday at Kroger in Alcoa, Tenn. Certain cans are on sale for .99 Thanks to a friend, I had 15 of those B1G1 free coupons so I bought 30 cans; the cashier typed in the .99 free can 15 times, and then the $5 MegaDeals came off so I only ended up paying the tax on 30 cans of dog food. And I also got a Catalina for $2 off next purchase. I sure hope the cashier did it right and that it will work for other people.

      • jennifer

Didn't work for me. I was so mad because they put the price as .49 on the coupon and not .99. Oh well, still a good price for the dog food.

        • Bee

One cashier tried to do that during another mega sale. It rings on the receipt as .99, so that is the price they are supposed to use. They are not standing there counting your mega items, so there is no way for them to know if you actually got that .50 discount. It's an added discount for buying volume–not the actual price.

I told the girl that she was supposed to use the price before mega discount, and she changed it. I think on the items that are lower than $1, they have memorized the discounted price. That is NOT the price they are to use. Insist on being given proper credit.

        • shops2much

Go to Kroger, find a person you know is good at customer service and talk to them. I did and I got an adjustment …my comment to them, ////If I bought 9 cans the coupon would be .99 cents….why should it be devalued because I purchased more? The coupon isn't the promotion , it's separate. Be firm but nice.

    • sharon60

How frequently does Kroger do the P & G sales?

I got the Dawn Hand and Nail detergent a couple of sales ago and really liked that stuff. I have a coupon that I'd like to use before it expires. Thanks in advance.

    • melissam

So i know this is southren savers but i live in michigan and a mother of 5 and just beganing to coupon…i dont have a publix just kroger or meijer does anyone know where to shop in michigan..since kroger isnt the best place to shop?

      • Mlaurie406

I know quite a few people that shop at Aldi's, but I've never been in there, so I don't know how their deals are! I mainly shop Kroger's/Meijers. With the recent e-coupon fiasco with Kroger, I will probably shop more at Meijer. You can combine Meijer coupons with manuf. coupons (and be sure to sign up for mperks, you can get a lot of $$ off coupons that way!), which can something get some pretty good deals. I've also thought about trying Kmart. Right now they have a $5 off $50 for groceries and double coupons up to .99c (limited time only….not sure when it ends), which we don't see a lot of around here!

        • Mlaurie406

I should add, that I'm no pro though…..only been couponing for a few months!!

        • Bee

I like Aldi for the couple of items I need that are not on sale anywhere else. Their milk is usually always cheaper than store brand at major chains. They have decent bread, flour, and other staples prices. They have amazing chocolate (from Austria, Germany, etc). As I notice more and more American manufacturers making “chocolate-flavored items” (Pillsbury is now doing this in some of their ready-to-bake cookies) I am glad to go to Aldi and still get high quality stuff for a decent price.

Before using coupons, I probably did at least 80 percent of my shopping at Aldi. The only product I really did not like was the pita chips. Everything else was very good. If you are a heavy coupon user, you will do better in the large grocery stores, but if you need an item or two or just do the weekly produce specials (sometimes unreal) it's a great place to stop in.

      • shops2much

Kroger has many affiliates. If you call them they might have stores in your area that go by a different name…just a thought.

    • Glendal

The Smart Balance Oil at the Kroger Store in Jaspar Ga is a 24 ounce bottle not 48 ounce. Thats a very good store and manager is coupon friendly

Going to try my first trip to Kroger (I'm a Publix girl) today. These comments don't make it seem appealing!! :)

    • savysaver

Which price do I use for the $5 off $20 Kraft promo if I am buying items in the Mega Sale. Does the $5 on Mega items come off each item or a single $5 off at the end of the purcahse.

      • jhorn

        kraft promo ended 3/15.

      • Glittermommy1569

There is a new $5 off promo now. It's any mix and match 10 items and get $5 off at the end. This is the second week for this promo and will probably end next Tuesday.

    • Glittermommy1569

Not sure if any other Kroger has this deal, but if you buy any 4 participating Kellogg's cereal (10-20 oz), Nutri-Grain, Fiber Plus, or Special K Bars (select varieties 5-8 ct), you get 2 FREE GALLONS of Springdale Milk INSTANTLY! This saves you over $6 in milk! If your family goes through milk like mine, then this is a great deal! This is for the ad that came out Wednesday, March 23 – Tuesday, March 29.

      • bingmom

We have the same deal here in Beaumont, Texas — so excited to get free milk!!

    • Nikita

I might be repeating some posts here but thought I would put it on the top. Krogers emailed me back – apparently they never allowed stacking ecoupons on manufactures which didnt make since to me sense to me. They are just enforcing it now. Also you cannot use the same product coupon again in the same transaction, example – I had 2 coupons for $1/2 smart taste ronzoni pastas which made them free this week. I had to put 2 boxes in one transaction and the other 2 in a new transaction to get my coupons to work. It takes a bit more time but if you figure out what will go in which transaction before shopping (like the walgreens shopping examples are setup) it isn't so bad. I really am only shopping at Krogers when there sales make the coupons worth it since they still double. I did their mega deal 5 times in 2 transactions last week.

      • Jenn S.

I hardly ever use e coupons at Kroger but I still really do save tons of money with just the manufacture coupons! I love shopping at Kroger!

      • couponmonster

I had that same thing last week. I tried to get 4 boxes of pasta in one transaction, with 2 of the $1 off 2 and they wouldn't let me either. It's just me and my husband, so i can't exactly need or do multiple mega events all that often.

      • Margery

My kroger did not limit the number of the same mfr. Coupon in one transaction. I used 6 each of $1/1 garden delight, $1/2 smart taste, and $1/2 healthy harvest, so I came home with 30 boxes free, which will last us for about 6 months.

    • Mr.Mom

Yes, I too have fallen victim to the new, unannounced Kroger change in policy and like all the others, not to hapy. But here is a tip if you don't have a publix option. The e-coupon will not double. a paper coupon will. The e-coupon will be discounted first, so if you have a paper coupon and an e-coupon for the same item, remove your e-coupon before going so that you can double your paper coupon. Gee…thanks Kroger! They claim it was at the behest of the manufacturers who were getting burned by coupon fraud/counterfiting.

      • june

I did that with my card, too. Unfortunately, there are a few that I can not take off. I came up with the idea that I still buy the item, go directly up to CS and return the item and them repurchase (at cs if allowed) and use the paper coupon I wanted to use in the first place. Either kroger will figure out a way to let us override the ecoupons or they will be doing a lot of returns.

      • guest

It isn't unannounced. The policy has always been clear as day. The glitch in the system that has allowed you to stack has been caught finally. Kroger does have a set of rules they have to follow by manufacturers. If you as the customer wish to keep using ANY coupons, YOU too have to play by these rules…if not, you could be like Houston Krogers that no longer can double because they didn't play by the rules nor did their customers.

    • Couponing Rocks!

I don't have a Kroger where I live, but I went to visit my mom in Knoxville today & went to her Kroger and got a great deal. 10 – 32oz Poweraids for 9.90 – 2 $1.00 off 3 hang tag coupons I got off the 2 CVS poweraids I bought earlier – 5.00 mega sale = 2.90 plus tax for 10 Poweraids. I was thrilled!

    • Melinda

I can't get any of my online smart source coupons to work! It tell me it is printing but only ever gets 15% of the way through :( Any suggestions?

      • Shelleyschu

are you using internet explorer? I am on Chrome and have to use IE to get them to print.

    • Shelleyschu

Good shopping trip today. I usually only shop at Kroger enough to get the discount on gas. Saved 54% — would have been better but I needed to buy lots of produce to make veggie soup. Got 12 free boxes of pasta (3 coupons were in the SS 1/23 paper and I have 2 sets), free dip, and cheap WW meals, creamer, and mustard (which we really needed). Would have been cheaper but I bought coffee. Yeah — thanks Jenny.

    • Wendy

What is the $5 WYB $20 of Kraft products? I bought $28 in cheese and didn't get a cat. Is this a rebate instead of a cat?

If I have a $1 off 1 coupon for Classico pasta sauce and a $1 off fresh beef when you buy 2 Classico pasta sauces can i buy 2 pasta souces and use

      2- 1$/1 sauce and
1- 1$off fresh beef when you buy 2
      ???

    • shops2much

I think I made a rookie mistake… I purchase 10 cans of Pedigree Dog food,,,used five b1g1 coupons…Total with Mega Event was 2.73 …I think this is wrong because if I had of purchased 9 cans at .99 cents or 9.99 the coupon would have been treated as .99 cents ( x 4 or 3.96 ) making the total 6.03 ….then if I had of added one more can at 99 cents, the $5..00 Mega Event would have kicked in making the total 2.02 and then I could add the additional coupon @ 99 cents…for a total of 1.03…I think I need to go back to the store and discuss this with them…what do you all think?

      • Asmith

I think life is too short, but it is yours to do with as you please. Especially with Kroger right now. If I am reading your situation correct you are saying you purchased 10 for 99 cents each. Total should have been 9.99 -5.00 = 4.99- (5x99cents (B1G1 Q)) =.04 plus your tax should have been your total but your cashier only took of .49 cents when she should have taken off the 99 cents that is why your total was 2.73 (your tax must have been 28 cents). Happy couponing we have all made many mistakes along the coupon journey. I say this from the perspective of SAHM with an unemployed husband and yes 2.69 is very important in my budget but the gas to get there and the aggravation also has a cost.

        • shops2much

I am in a delicate situation as I used to work at this store and these folks are part of my community and I am on a very friendly basis with them. So I did go and ask about it ( I live really close) and unfortunately for me the one person I do not like was working at the CS desk…I understand what the reasoning was, they used the coupons as .49 c…thus devaluing the coupons because I purchased ten items instead of 9 ??? Next time , I think I will use a different strategy . No biggy…Still a good deal and a lesson for next time.

          • Asmith

I am sorry they did not resolve it. I still think they did it incorrectly. They don't get to arbitrarily devalue the coupon. purchased the Kraft cooking creme and I used the free coupon mailed from Kraft first taste and they took off 2.99 sale price I purchased ten items and received the 5.00 off at the bottom of my receipt but on the line where the item is listed the price is 2.99. The five dollar off has nothing to do with your coupon. That is Kroger's separate promotion that should not impact the coupon.

            • shops2much

I was in Kroger again today to get two things I needed and I stopped at Customer Service. There was a different person ( very friendly and has been with Kroger for 25 years) at the desk..I inquired about the coupon situation and SHE gave me the difference…It's just a matter of getting a person with a CAN DO..attitude.
I am glad I got the difference because I had purchased those coupons from a clipping service and hated losing money !!!

    • tmama

I ran into the coupon po-po yesterday- the mgr said I couldn't use any IP qs b/c there's supposed to be print on the back to make it legit (??!!) Also, said I was only supposed to be able to use one coupon per transaction….period. I challenged him on that, since I swapped the IPs for ones from the newspaper. And this was the store manager! Guess they're on a tight leash from corporate- hopefully things will simmer down soon. Glad I have Publix…was just wanting to stock up on spaghetti.

    • pasta?

I just got home from Dallas, Ga Kroger. I NEED TO VENT!!!!!

I went wanting to buy the Ronzoni Garden Delight, Healthy Harvest or Smart Taste Pasta, the shelves were empty, when I asked the store manager if they had more, she informed me that ONE shopper came in and CLEARED the shelf!!! SERIOUSLY????? Why would you do this? It will go on sale again! When ppl do this sort of thing, this is the reason stores have to enforce rules on coupons. So if you are reading this can you please not clear the shelf next time? Leave some for the rest of us. Doing this will ruin “couponing” for the rest of us!!!

    • Edie MacKenzie

I was so excited about how much money I had just saved at the Lower Fayettville Kroger in Newnan. I was sitting in the truck gloating and scanning my receipt when I found a mistake that cost me a Mega event. I went back in and asked the CS why only 2 of my three steam veggies counted on the Mega. He said “I don't know but I will credit $5 back because they are on the event” I also met a fellow Southern Saver and we helped each other hit the deals. Saved money, found a cooperative CS rep and made a new friend at the grocery. My girls tell me I have to stop talking to strangers or I can't go by myself anymore. (lol) Happy Shopping!

      (4) Ronzoni Pasta, (1) classico sauce, (1) philly cream creme, (1) French Spicy Mustard, (1) Miracle Whip, (1) Lipton Tea 100ct, (1) Heluva Dip

All for 5.27 after tax, Thanks Jenny!

Found 1.00 off Classico Sauce coupons stuck to select ronzoni pasta boxes, will save a few for later this year.

Kroger had a net earning of $278.8 mil last quarter. Makes losing customers for not doubling internet coupons seem silly.
