labor day amazon buys

I honestly don’t know what I would do without Amazon Prime.  It’s a real lifesaver when I’m planning an event or a party and I need something obscure that I don’t want to go to a million stores looking for.  That obscure item is delivered right to my door in two days.  If you’re like me, I thought I’d take care of some of your shopping list for your labor day parties.

roasters

Marshmallow Roasters: $14.36 (reg. $29.99)

Can you even call it a party if you don’t roast marshmallows?  It’s a sure-fire way to end a backyard cookout with friends.

bear paws

Bear Paws: $12.95 (reg. $15.95)

If you’re looking to shred a lot of pulled pork, the Bear Paws could be a good investment.

skewers

Bamboo Skewers: $4.36

I could walk around the grocery store for 30 minutes and still never find the skewers.  It’s a safe bet to buy them on Amazon.

watermelon

Watermelon Slicer Kit: $10.95 (reg. 22.95)

Save some time on dessert and grab a watermelon slicer.  This set has great reviews and comes with a watermelon slicer, strawberry stem remover and a melon baller!

grill

Portable Grill: $59.99

If you’re completely starting from scratch with the planning and this post was your reminder that Labor Day is happening, you might need a grill.  If you don’t grill too often, consider getting a portable grill.  They’re less expensive and you can share your grill master skills more easily with all of your friends by just popping it in the trunk (just make sure you wait for the grill to cool down).

happy salmon

Happy Salmon Game: $14

My family LOVES this game.  Happy Salmon is an awesome game to play with a big group of people you’re getting to know.  It’s a loud game and everyone is trying to match cards, so by the end of the game, the ice is broken and everyone can let loose a little bit.  You seriously need to get one of these for your next cookout.  My girls play this game (and I actually just bought another set because we use it so much) but it’s perfect for adults, too.

yard yahtzee final

Yard Yachtzee: DIY

Okay, this one isn’t an Amazon purchase, but it’s a DIY.  Giant Yard Yachtzee is a fun game to get everyone involved.
