There are no more “money makers” involving $5 gift card promos at Target in Lexington,SC. The register now adjusts the coupon down so after the gift card it will be free, you will just have paid tax. This happened with the gillette shaving cream deal. Each of my 3 $1.00 coupons were adjusted down to .39cents. Of course Target still gets reimbursed for the full face value ($1.00) of each coupon from the manufacturer. I’d say that’s coupon fraud, no?
