I know that TV and education aren’t always good together, but there are a few programs that my kids love and I have no problems showing them.  Liberty’s Kids is one of those shows.  Your kids will fall in love with US history as they watch the characters live out big events in US history.  From the Boston Tea Party to famous revolutionary battles, all the way to the establishment of the US Postal system, we’ve watched all of the episodes and loved them!

Right now you can get the complete series, all 40 episodes, on Amazon for $6.49.  It is eligible for free prime shipping or will ship free with any $25 purchase with free super saver shipping.

If you wanted to buy the individual seasons they are around $12 each, so to get 4 seasons for half the price of one is awesome!

This would be an amazing gift to a library!

I’m curious…what age would this be most appropriate for?

      • Amelia

Mandi, My 6-year-old daughter loves it. I’d say it’s appropriate for older ages, too…maybe ages 5-9, depending on the kid?

          Thank you!

We used it during our American Revolution unit study, and it was an awesome supplement. Our children, both 6 and 14, love it, so we grabbed the deal just for the enjoyment of the shows! Very educational, as well. Covers almost all the major historical points of the American Revolution even into middle school age.
