We love Little Tikes in our house! When they emailed to see if we would review the Little Tikes Cupcake Kitchen, how could this mom of three girls say no!! I’ll confess that so far I’m the only one that has played with it, the kitchen is packed neatly away in it’s little box waiting for Christmas day for the girls to see it.

My little angel likes to pretend that she is Rapunzel with extremely long hair. She uses the blankets as hair and will drag it around the house. She also will throw the blanket over the back of the couch and have me call out as though I am Mother Gothel to “climb” up.

When that is done, she will put on her princess dress and pretend high heels and get her “friends” (me and her dolls) to come to her room for a tea party. Back in October, we had a yard sale. One of the items we placed outside was a set of pastel colored plastic dishes (cups, saucers, plates and bowls). Our 2-year old saw them and immediately started playing “Birthday Party” with them. So, of course, they were no longer for sale. To this day, she will play “Birthday Party” multiple times a day, serving my husband and me pretend cake, soup, drink, grapes, strawberries and blueberries.

Playing house and school are the most favorite with Mom and Teacher as the most coveted roles. Little Sarah said she wanted a playhouse with a kitchen and play food for Christmas. When we took her to see Santa the other day and he asked what she wanted she said “a house and some food”

My kids are all about dressing up and playing “Princess meets a Dragon.” They play it all day and I love it because they call each other Sister when they play. No one has names…everyone is Sister. By the way they are both the princesses and the dog is the dragon. Not sure yet how the dog like wearing his Halloween costume everyday!! I know my girls would love a little kitchen to cook for their little dragon.

I have a 4 yr old boy & a 2 1/2 yr old girl. They love playing together… they always pretend that they are cooking us food. They put all kinds of small toys in my kitchen bowls and then ask my husband and me to pretend eat the food that they cooked. Haha! Love it!

This past year I was pregnant, and I would take my two and three year old little girls to my OB appointments (the doctor did an ultrasound every visit). After a few visits every time we would come home my three year old would go get her Leapster and pretend like she was doing an ultrasound on my two year old’s belly! Then she found a piece of ribbon from a doll she has, and would measure her sister’s belly! My husband and I were amazed at how much they pick up on, it was pretty adorable!

My girls enjoy playing “fort”. Just taking an old uilt that’s seen better days, and placing it over dining room chairs that’ve been dragged to the living room, and set up against the couch. From there we end up with lots of books, and sometimes goldfish and a juice box!

Just a month ago, it was unrolling all of the toilet paper off of the roll and dipping it in the toilet and then screaming the infamous “UH OH!” However, a few weeks ago at the babysitter’s house, the babysitter was cleaning her toilet so now my precious daughter likes to get the toilet brush and dip it in the water. Of course, I’m always closely supervising :)

I have 2 girls (3.5 & 15mos). They LOVE the play kitchen at church and at grandma’s house! This is adorable.

We have a Little Tykes kitchen in their playroom and a Little Tykes playhouse with a kitchen inside of it out on our porch. They play house and cook all day and never tire of it. We don’t have a baking kitchen set yet. This would be awesome!

My grandbabies love to do ANYTHING the adults are doing. They just join in on whatever is going on, whether it be cooking, playing a game of backgammon, making bows. They are given some of the supplies and pretend to be doing whatever we are doing. It’s so cute.

Our 27 month old granddaughter has a Little Tikes car and enjoys getting in and out of it with her dolls. She will say she’s going grocery shopping and will always say good-bye as she closes the car door.

My family owned a restaurant when I was growing up so all of us love to cook. My 4 year old nephew loves to pretend he is cooking in the restaurant as his mom used to cook at a local place. My daughter will probably end up doing the same thing as I cook and entertain at least once a week and she sits in the kitchen already watching me cook.

My daughter is 18 months. Her personality is really starting to bloom now. She hasn’t really started play pretending yet, but she loves playing with her dolls and stuffed animals and babbles constantly, so there is really no telling what she is playing lol!

My neice is 2 years old and loves playing “tea party”! She has a cute tea cup set that makes sounds, so her favorite part is getting to pour the tea. You have to drink quickly so that she can pour you some more!

(Of course all of them are naked except for their diapers because clothing is optional for her as well, lol) My little boy is a year and he is starting to play with his toys by stacking them and attempting to step on them to be taller (to compete with his siblings, height can only help him) My two oldest boys play trains, or cops, but their favorite thing to do is move every piece of furniture in a room and cover it with a blanket to create a fort. I stand outside of the room while they are in their fort just to hear the stories they tell. I have to cover my mouth to keep from laughing outloud!

Mine is less than a year old so she’s discovering new ways to play. Usually she just sings and plays with her toys but yesterday she discovered fake food at a friend’s house. (Funny, they had a kitchen too.) She loved it!!!! I had her put food in the skillet and oven and play. She really liked the kitchen too and I would love for her to have one.

My kids had a similar kitchen. You froze a disc and placed it in the “oven” portion. When you placed special undecorated cookies in the oven, the cold would magically decorate them…so they went from plain white to colored. Sooo they decided to put our all white cat in their to make him colored. That poor cat is a saint.

Tay loves to cook in her FREE kitchen. I drove past the 2nd hand store and asked about it. It was cracked on the top and they were going to throw it away. It was just a small crack that DH covered up with duct tape and SHE LOVES IT. Her favorite thing to do is cook eggs and make coffee! LOL! She’s 2. ;P
My Kid’s like to play McDonald’s. We all have to order, then they cook in their kitchen and serve us. They give better service than the real thing. Only the food is alittle hard (plastic).
