Do you have a brand loyalty you just can’t shake??  Grab a voucher today on Living Social to get $20 in goods from Soap.com for only $10.

The voucher does have fine print of what brands you can use it on:

Accu-Clear, Align, Always, Ariel, Aussie, Bold, Bounce, Bounty, Braun, Camay, Cascade, Charmin, Cheer, Clairol, Clearblue Easy, CoverGirl, CoverGirl & Olay, Crest, Dawn, Downy, Duracell, Era, Fact Plus, Febreze, Fixodent, Gain, Gillette, Gleem, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Ivory, Ivory Snow, Joy, Metamucil, Mr. Clean, Olay, Old Spice, Oral B, Pantene, Pepto-Bismol, Prilosec, Puffs, Pur, SafeGuard, Scope, Secret, Swash, Swiffer, Tampax, Tide, Tide To Go, Vicks

This could be a great way to get a deal on that Tide or Cascade that you love, but never find it on a great sale.

If you have never bought from a daily deal site, you are basically buying a gift certificate for $10.  In 24-48 hours your code will be in your Living Social account, you’ll head over to Soap.com put $20 of stuff in your cart and then use your code at check out.

Deal fine print says “Free overnight delivery on your order of $25 or more” though soap.com says specifies for the first order. Since i’ve used soap before I’m not sure whether the free shipping would apply with this deal.

    • Can you mail coupons into soap.com and combine coupons with the deal?

      • Lori

They do take coupons, but I'm not positive that you can or can't use them with this deal.  It seems like you should be able to.

    • Decibeldiva

Thanks, I’m getting mine. By the way, I’m ordering my Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream, which sells for $22.39. Soap.com has an instant e-coupon for $3 that makes it $19.39, cheaper than I can find it on sale locally. Figure in the $10 voucher, and buy enough for free shipping, and the Olay is only $9.39! Awesome!

I am trying to figure out if this deal is worth it. I added up my soap.com subtotal and out of pocket I would spend around $17 using the Living Social, the promo code and getting free shipping. If I went to Wal-Mart it would cost me total around $31 for the same products. However, that doesn’t include coupons or sales. So I am trying to decide if it is just better to wait until I need this stuff or just go for it…Thoughts?!

      • StephanieS

Think about how much you save on gas and time?

    • Jim

You have to pay shipping so this is not worth it.

      • Shannon

You can generally get free shipping on Soap.com — and it doesn’t hurt to be a little more polite with your opinion ;-)

        Thanks for posting this, Jenny!

        • CTaylor

          =) =)

          Yes, thank you Jenny!  :)

      • Darlene

If you read the fine print on the social living website it does say that if you spend $25 then shipping is free.  And don't forget about ebates.

    • Angelascoupons1

Good news! There is free 1-2 day shipping on your first order of $25.

      • Tilloa

is this so does that mean just buy an extra $5 of stuff? or $15 w/the voucher? I'm new at this :) Thanks

        • Angelascoupons1

I think you would buy, say $20 worth of stuff ($25 if you want to get the free shipping).  When you check out, you'll apply a coupon code (from Living Social) that will reduce the amount owed by $10.

          • Lindsey

It should reduce the amount by $20 since you paid $10 for the $20 coupon. You would have to pay the extra $5 in order to get the free shipping…that is how I read it…

    • Angelascoupons1

Can you use any coupons on this site?

      • Angelascoupons1

Ok, found the answer to my own question…yes they will but they apply them as a credit towards future purchases and only take one per item….http://www.soap.com/redeem

    • Great deal!  Thanks!  Oh, and they have online coupon links.  So, you'll save a few extra cents on a few things.

    • Cbugsmama

What if my city isn't listed? Does it matter?

      • Snowski824

        no

    • You can also shop through eBates and get some cash back.

You can use the code: SOAPAFF to get 20% off AND free shipping on your first order of $25 or more. Even if you do not spend the $25 for the free shipping the code will still give you 20% off.

    • Deal Idea:

      Buy (4) Downy Fabric Softener Liq, Spring & Lavender-51oz, 60Lds $6.25 each

That makes the total $25. Use the code SOAPAFF to get 20% off ($3.71) and you also get FREE SHIPPING.

Total of order is $21.04 use the LivingSocal deal and pay $1.04.

Now you have 4 bottles of Downy for $11.04 that is only $2.76 per bottle. That stuff rarely goes on sale at the store and you can never get it for less than $3 a bottle!

      • lainibug

I'm pretty sure the deal's fine print says that it cannot be used with other promotions, so I would not count on being able to use the code.

    • Ejkstarkey

It sold out as I was adding it to my cart.  Vistaprint.com has an 80% off deal under Richmond, Virginia, though.

    • kjmiller

Don't suppose there's any way of using coupons on the site?

      • Danaldrman

yes you can!  But you have to send them in prior to use.  Explore the site and you can probably find out more about this

    • Kathyq57

I have never used this site or anything like it before but the Gillette Proglide Power Razors NEVER go on sale or have coupons for them. Do you think this is a good deal? The six pack is $24.70. I pay $10 for a $20 coupon? Is that how this works? Then shipping is free for my first order if it is over $25? I am a newbie so any advice is welcomed! :)

    • Kathyq57

Ok I took the plunge and bought the deal. I will see if I can make this worth my while.

    • Guest

      Says “Sold Out”!  Bummer!  :(

      • Yep! :(

      • cahugh4

I just bought one. Maybe they are out in your area?

    • cahugh4

      Here my plan:

Charmin Ultra Strong 12 pk Mega rolls (48 reg. rolls) $16.05
Charmin Ultra Strong 12 pk Double rolls (24 reg. rolls) $9.35
      Total :   25.40
      minus .25/1 coupon
      minus 20% discount ($3.77)
      minus $20 voucher
Total: $1.38 plus $10 spent for voucher = $11.38 for 72 rolls of toilet paper (48+24), or .16 cents per roll.

    • anyone know what town its still available in?

    • Angied6428

Just used my voucher and you cannot combine the 20% discount code and the voucher code on your order.  Still an AWESOME deal though.  Thanks Jenny!
