Sample Showcase is a program that highlights lots of brands in one or two big mailers.  Throughout the year you can register for boxes of 6-12 samples sent to you.  The site also highlights about 20 individual free samples that you can sign up for.

To get the Sample Showcase boxes:

  • Sign up for Sample Showcase
  • Check for the next boxes registration period
  • Be one of the first to claim their box of free samples

The boxes are given away first come, first serve until Sample Showcase runs out of them.  There is a countdown on the website telling you when the next box will be sent (the next one is in 5 days!)

Even if you cannot get the box, I would sign up for this site just for the amount of free samples you can request individually.

      For some reason, it is not sending me my activation link in my e-mail. I have resent it several times and I am not getting the e-mail.

      I signed up with all my info and right at the very end it clicked off and said there was an error and for me to try again later. Frustrating!

      I just signed up and received the confirmation link in my e-mail. Did any of you unclick the box that allows them to send you emails? That might be the problem.

      I signed up last night, but I didn't get my confirmation email until 4:30 am this morning. Their system must be slow!

      This looks interesting! So, from what I'm reading, you join up first but you still have to go back on the day the boxes are released to actually request a box, right? Otherwise, you don't get it.

      I just did it & I got the confirmation email. so do I have to go back in 5 days & request the box or is it sent based on the fact I signed up for it & got the confirmation email?

        I did some reading & it seems you still have to request the box – those are on a first come, first serve basis…not something they send automatically because we registered. Registration just gives you quick access to request the boxes when they do become available.

      OK, I just signed up and got the e-mail confirmation already. Maybe the site was slow yesterday, but it seems fine now.

      I'd suggest for the people who haven't gotten their confirmation to maybe try logging in and if it doesn't work, then try registering again using the same info they put in yesterday. Make sure you DON'T uncheck the box for e-mail – maybe that was an issue for some – or it could just be a glitch. I don't know…maybe that will help!

      I'll never remember to go online and request the box myself, so I chose to accept text messages so I'll get a reminder when they're available.

      Should be fun!

      I signed up last night but didn't get a confirmation email either. I tried to log in but couldn't because my account wasn't confirmed so I resent the confirmation email which I never got. I did that again this morning and still didn't get anything. I decided to try one more time a few minutes ago and was able to resend the confirmation email which I finally got! So, keep trying if you haven't gotten the confirmation email.

      i got a page after registration that said if you were having trouble “click here.” when i clicked there, it took me to a page that said they were resending the confirmation email, and : If you are still having trouble with your account, contact us at: support@startsampling.com

      thank you jenny had no trouble in v a got in 10 mins have never saw so many samples . they e mailed me right back they give a way every 20 sec. is what its showing now god bless you have a great hump day

      All you need to do is sign up and become a member of this Sample Showcase™ site. When boxes are available, we will contact you (if you allow us to) as well as placing the box offer on the website. When the time comes to order a box, it will always only be available on a first come, first served basis until the volume of Sample Showcase™ boxes are gone. There are no guarantees you will receive any particular Sample Showcase™ box.

      Lord, I'm sooooooooooo confused as a news couponer. I just attended a coupon mtg at our school. I've always used a coupon here and there. I don't understand coupon stacking and I don't see a list of items that bottom out at their lowest. I read the article on this site showing when items bottom out at their lowest price, encouraging us to buy those, but I don't see those items listed to know which to purchase tomorrow at the store. This is too confusing for a beginner. Maybe as a teacher I need a powerpoint presentation, I'm a visual learner – hearing it isn't the same as someone showing me exactly step by step what to do…teardrop :(

        Start small. Pick a store that you want to start with and work on mastering it. As far as drugstores go, CVS is the easiest to me. You can click on the store that you want to get information on across the top of the page. In the upper right hand corner of the page there will be links re: getting started, coupon policy etc… Start small and don't get discouraged. It may take a little while until you are able to only buy things at the lowest price…but what do you have to lose? You are already buying things at whatever the price happens to be when you need an item anyway. Most of the people on here are very helpful and will be able to answer any questions that you have. HTH.

        Dont give up! It took me about a month to get to a point were I was saving big on my grocery bills. I started by watching Jenny's videos on couponing and just exploring the website. Looking for rock bottom prices GO to BEST DEALS this week located in the upper right side of the main page. (big blue box) The price listed is AFTER coupons so you will have to visit the store tab to veiw the best way to get the deal or coupons needed. GOOD LUCK and have fun

      Sample Showcase did not e-mail me to allow confirmation. Does not look good for their credibility.

      Since last night, I have tried to register using 2 different email addresses, and still have not gotten a confirmation email. (No I'm not going to register to get 2 boxes of free stuff, just tried with another email address after waiting hours for a confo email from the first). Not in spam folder, not anywhere. Quite frustrating. How hard is it to set up your system to send an auto email?

        I did this too and it took about 24 hours to receive my confirmation email.

      I have to say that I am very disappointed. I signed up Wednesday night, no confo email (repeatedly tried to resend email like it tells you to on the page). Signed up with a different email address Thursday morning, no confo. Thursday morning, I also sent an email to the address that it tells you to if you are having problems. Now it's Friday morning…no confo emails, and no reply to the other email. I am very disappointed in this company. I know that they have probably had an overwhelming response, but really? I would think that the confo email would be automated, and if they put an email address to report problems, then they should answer it. Just wanted to vent.

      Signed up and got a confirmation email immediately, no problems! I guess I need to go back and enable communication though to make sure I know when the box is available. So excited!

      I found my experience with the 'new box release' to be SO DISAPPOINTING!! First of all, even though I established and confirmed my account last week, when I went to sign on today it didn't recognize my user name or password. I still had the confirmation email so went back and confirmed all the infomation was correct. It was… Sample Showcase web site glitch #1. I then re-registered with the exact same email, username and password and the web site accepted it so at least I was signed in. I then had the countdown on for the box release. The moment the timer hit 'zero' I hit the “see if I qualify” button. Sadly, it quickly became apparent that their system was not equipped for all of the traffic (which amazes me since they have a countdown…they have plenty of warning that things are going to get busy)…web site glitch #2. Once I hit 'see if I qualify' the site continued to load for quite some time and then I got the 'cannot display website' error. I then went through over 30 minutes of reloading the page – which sometimes worked and sometimes resulted in an error message…web site glitch #3. When I would see the 'see if I qualify' button I would click on it. Most of the time nothing would happen, as if I hadn't clicked, and the remainder of the time I got the web page error message. Since I know my internet connection is strong this is a big web site glitch on their end. Just so sad that they try to build hype and then are unable to follow through. I am going to contact their web administrator about this but I am posting here as well as I don't know that I would recommend anyone waste their time trying to get a box if the web site is going to be so poorly prepared. Congrats to anyone who did get the box….

        I went through the exact same problems… then waited an hour or so and just tried again and got a new message saying that due to overwhelming response they are temp taking the site down and will bring it back up later. it also assured that there are plenty of boxes available so please keep trying…….. Hmmmmm so frustrating. Cant complain much when it was a free offering but after spending well over an hour of time and lots of frustration I no longer consider it free. My time and sanity is worth alot too! I'm gonna maybe try again later but without so much persistance.

      Site kept crashing, because of the amount of people I guess, so I tried again later…apparently I don't even qualify, not sure why though. I don't know if it's because I don't have kids or that my house doesn't make enough! (My husband is unemployed, so I'm the only one working.) Who knows??

      Finally worked after hours of trying, only to find that I don't qualify. I guess they don't want poor childless women to get the box. How does one qualify for this stuff? It's my first time.

        I just tried to “qualify” and got the same result. I am a young women with no kids and an entry level income… guess we aren't good enough for free stuff!
