      • Mommy2Boys

    • Kcreviews

      Better than usual. Thanks, Jenny!

    • racecitymom

I was in my local Lowes Foods (Davidson, NC) Sat. & they were filming an episode of Extreme Couponing! I was in a hurry & could not stay to gawk, but I did ask if they were going to hold her to the 20 coupons doubled limit….The cashier said that they were but she would have to do several transactions….uuhh, the coupon policy is NOT worded that way! I says “up to 20 coupons doubled every day”! So…I WILL BE GOING BACK WITH MY 40 COUPONS READY TO DO 2 TRANS!!!

      • RebeccaFer

Why do stores think going against their own policies for the sake of this show is helpful to them or other couponers?!??! Ughhh! I'm in Charlotte and to think they allow this makes me mad. :( Thanks for the info and good luck on making your point.

        • leigh

yeah, this is certainly not fair. if they bend their own rules for one, they must for everyone.

      • anne

I was there too…only I didn't realize that's what they were doing  The next day the cashier told me they did 40 transactions for her…CRAZY!

        • racecitymom

40 TRANSACTIONS!!!??? That is nuts! There is no way they`d let you do that on a normal day!

          • asuwinnie

exactly that is why it is a tv show.  You have to have alot of time to coupon like they do.

        • racecitymom

Last week wasnt even a good sale…what did she buy???????

      • Gloria

I sent them a message from their website and posted to their facebook page that they should not have done this. Unless they plan on lifting the limit before the show airs.  http://www.facebook.com/LowesFoodsStores?sk=wall
        Is
it true that Extreme Couponing was in your Davidson, NC store on June
11th and that you let them around the coupon policy doubling limit of 20
coupons by doing 40 transactions? Are you going to remove the limit
before the show airs? If not shame on your company.

    • slackermom

Do I have to do anything special to get the e-offer?

      • Shannonw1983

you have to sign up for e-offers through their website just like at harris teeter

    • trianglemom

I bought the Soft Scrub cleaners and couldnt combine the BOGO and $0.75/1.  The BOGO coupon scanned and took off the full value – $3.99 but the $0.75/1 beeped item not found.  Still $2.01 for 2 isnt bad.

      • Maybe you gave them the BOGO first? You always should use the cents off q first, then the BOGO.

    • TK

Dr.pepper 12 packs on sale for $3.33 each with a $2/1 WYB Combos snack  peelie .  combos are $2.25 each.  When you buy 2 Combos you get a $1 off your next order.  Not too bad of a deal if you like DP and Combos!

    • Rude_grrlz

original price $6.99, sale price: $3.99.
      got a 2 instant credit + $1 off q = 99¢
not sure why i got the instant credit but i won't complain.

    • Jule

I went to Lowes Food today to go buy the Soft Scrub Cleansers and I used a B1G1 coupon and a .75 coupon and only the B1G1 coupon were accept but not the .75 coupon. Anyone have any issue like mine???

      • Kim

The B1G1 was a nightmare..kept getting the beep, finally got that to work but would not accept te .75 coupon.

        • Tonks

The way it was worded on some of the other signs is that the 1st one rings up at full price and the second is free rather than both ringing up at 1/2 price.

Tonight was the first night we shopped at Lowe's and it definitely won't become my regular.  Prices were just too high.

          Kroger's is still my fav.

      • Sandsknight

No, I did the same thing at my Lowes and they took them both with no problem!!

    • LCH

My daughter (age 13) has gotten into couponing.  We have been shopping at a local  Lowes   Last night we went to get groceries (thinking it wouldn't be busy)  and had about 25 coupons.  Since this was only the second time  I wasn't sure how many you were allowed.  So the manager was standing in front on the phone and my daughter and I looked at drinks until she was finished then I asked her how many coupons were allowed.  She yelled all the way across the floor to one of the cashiers, “How many coupons are they allowed?”  There were  alot of people waiting to check out because they just had one cashier open at the time.  When she said this  everyone turned to  look.  I thought it was a little odd that the manager didn't know but let it go. We went back to where my husband was and my daughter  started telling him what the manager had done and she thought the lady was being hateful.  I really feel that she just did it to embarass us.  We do not have to use coupons, but what if that was the only way to feed your family and you were treated this way.  Are people that use coupons treated different?

      • Rosey4u8

you should report her that is very poor customer service

      • Kim

Our Lowe's in Tega Cay has always been super coupon friendly.  Keep at it.  Couponing is fun and a great way to be a good steward.
