    • Dale

Since I am so new at all of this, I think this would be a great time for me to learn the mambo! I would love one of the books, as my husband and I are getting into healthier eating habits, and we need all the help we can get! Thanks Jenny for all you do.

    • tamara nelson

I’d like 2 coupon booklets for mambo sprouts.

    • Teresa

I grow organic things myself (eggs, veg, etc!)

    • Kelly

      *raises hand eagerly*

    • Linda

I save money on organic products 2 ways. First, I visit their websites and look for coupons and offers there and sometimes I’ll even email them to let them know how much I enjoy their products. Sometimes they will send me coupons through the mail. I also use rite aid coupons at publix to purchase organic produce and products.

    • Christin

Like the previous poster, my husband and I grow organic food for a family of 8! We enjoy fresh veggies and salads very often!

    • Amanda

      Hi Jenny,
I would love to get the organic coupon booklet! =) I am afraid I can’t really give you a whole lot of advice on how I save on organic foods as I am just now starting to learn how to save thanks to my friend Diana, who is an avid reader of your site and she is now teaching me! :) I am very excited! We went to HT on Sunday my grocery bill was $104 dollars BUT with the coupons coupled with the store specials my bill as $37 dollars!!! I am so very excited to learn how to be a smart shopper and I am so glad to have friends to help me learn.
I would say one tip I have is always look in Harris Teeters reduced produce section (when they have it) and a lot of times there are organic fruits there! =)

I love you site and am eager to learn how to get better and better at spotting bargins! :)

    • Thank you for all you do!!!!!!!

    • Marti

We also grow our own veggies and I shop at a great little organic store in Sumter called the “Farm Store.” It opened recently near the base and often their prices on fresh produce rival the non-organic farmer’s market! Also love Bilo’s price on organic milk. Thanks Jennie!

    • Julie

My hand is raised. Pick me, Pick me. : )

    • Larissa

      Pick me! Pick me!!

    • Stephanie

I love to buy organic. I use coupons of course, but also use other money-making deals to lower my bill. I then donate the conventional foods that we don’t usually eat. Growing our food is hands-down the best way we have saved on organic produce!

    • Marie

me me meee :) thanks for everything!

    • Merrilyn

I grow my own organic produce! There is also a produce stand down the street that is much cheaper than buying it at Publix.

    • megan c

Oh please pick me!!!!! my new little one is getting to experience fresh fruit. Hes 5 1/2 months and sucks the juice out through his new munchkin chew toy! I am trying to give my whole family healthier foods, they just cost so much more. So please pick me!

    • hi!

we live in the city in nashville and are unable (due to renting) to be able to grow our own veggies and such…i have a medical condition that requires me to eat as organically as possible…the hormones and man made sugars in most conventional products do not do well with my endocrine system…i also have 3 kids that LOVE to eat organically when mommy can afford it!

      so PLEASE PICK ME!!!!!!!

thanks so much for all you do Jenny!

    • Suzanne

Since I love, love, love organic almond butter, and it is way to expensive, please pick me! If mama is happy, everybody is happy.

    • Christo

I try to grow as much myself, pesticide free.

    • We grow some of our own veggies…still waiting for our fuji apple tree to produce ripe apples that don’t get picked off by deer who love to roam about our backyard. I look for coupons and shop sales- Kroger has some surprising deals on organics if you look for them. I’ve scored some wonderful cherries and cameo apples there.

    • Brooke

Love to eat healthy and organic… even on a college student’s budget! Buy organic as much as possible and love the farmer’s market organic stuff.

    • lindsay smith

Organic is the only way to go these days with little one’s… so much crap is in food and they benefit so much from healthy eating!

    • Tredina Davis

      Pick me!!!
This site is awesome! Thanks Jenny!

    • Michelle

I buy organic items when they are on sale and I have coupons available. Recent purchases include: 17 cent Kashi cereal and bars at CVS, free with overage Muir Glen tomato sauce at Publix, and 50 cent Santa Cruz lemonade at Kroger!

    • MrGMom

Eating healthy with Q’s — I’ll raise my hand everytime!

    • CJ

Oooo, Ooooo, Me! Me! Pick me! :)

    • Emily

      Me me me!!

Thanks for all you do to help keep me on budget every week!

    • Sonya Caskey

I feel like the seagulls in the movie! “Mine, Mine, Mine!” or ME, Me, Me!
Thanks for all you do. Your site is amazingly helpful! I just cut & paste my lists from yours, add the other items I need & then I’m off!

    • Alyson

Thanks for all the great tips!

    • Mandy Devine

I save on organic products in several ways…I try to grow a few of my on veggies, I go to specific websites and let them know I love their products and appreciate their effort to provide healthy foods for my family (they usually send me a coupon or two), and I also use the $5 off rite aid/kmart coupons to save at Harris Teeter on organic products. I would love these Mambo coupon books!!! Thanks for letting me enter.

    • Adriane

I want to win! Usually I buy fruit that looks good at a decent price, but I don’t really worry about whether it’s organic. I’ll definately buy organic if I have coupons though!

    • Emily

Oops, I forgot to leave my tip for organic savings. I look for organic fruit on markdown (ripe bananas or blueberries, for example). What we don’t eat before it’s overripe goes in the freezer to be blended with our (also frozen, also organic, also bought with coupons/sales/markdown deals) yogurt for breakfast smoothies!

    • Jessica

I save on organic products when you post great deals!! Thanks!

    • Nancy

Thank you! I would love the booklets!

    • Haley

I support our local organic produce stands – they often sell their product cheaper than grocery stores, but of course, I watch the organic sales at the grocery stores like a hawk! AND use a coupon as often as possible!! :)

    • Wendy

We save on organic produce by buying in bulk when we can (apples), and growing our own (tomatoes) or shopping at the farmers market.

    • Amy B.

I have signed up for the Mambo sprouts books a few times now, but have never actually had one turn up in the mail for some reason. We don’t eat a lot of organic, but I’m working on that :). Coupons I do have down pat, so these would be a great way to get started.

    • sara

      Ooh, OOh, ME PLEASE!!

    • Brittany

I would love to receive the coupons! Thanks.

    • I save the most by growing my own. Thanks for sharing the coupons!

    • Janet

I save on organics by buying n bulk at the farmers market but I do not get there as often as I would like. I use the organic coupons as much as possible when I can find them! Thanks for all you do.

    • Mariah

I save by listening to my friend who gets awesome deals. And I help her by printing out the dairy free coupons I find for her since her son has a dairy allergy! It realy helps when you have 2 people working together.

    • Emily

I am a terrible gardner! Instead, I save on organics by using coupons – and by trying to be picked to be given coupons by leaving comments like these on Souther Savers. :)

    • Sarah

I would love a chance at these booklets ! I have to Celiacs and its getting expensive to feed them . Lots of the thigns they can have is organics . THanks for the chance !!!

      sarah

    • We can’t get these anywhere around here. I buy alot of organic/natural products and try to use coupons on them. However, I plan on growing my own organic produce next year to help decrease the cost of buying produce from stores.

    • Jenny

Since my wife and myself began using your website, we have bcome hooked on couponing and the savings your hard work provides. We appreciate it and the chance at the Mambo Sprouts coupons. We love the extra savings on the more healthy items.

      James

    • Deborah

Coupons for organic products and buying local

    • katie randolph

      hi jenny!
we save on organic foods by watching for sales at the (sort of) close by whole foods market. Right now, we are BIG fans of the Farmer’s Market in our historic downtown area. Need to get that backyard garden going for next spring!

    • Brinda

I would love to receive 2 booklets. I would keep one and give one to my daughter.

    • Janie

We save by growing our own veggies. Thanks so much for your site, it saves us so much money.

    • Mel

These would be great! Thanks so much for all you do!

    • My baby is 14 months old. When she started eatting, I began feeding her only organic products. My family as a whole has tons of allergies, so the more natural and organic foods are the way for most of us when in comes to produce, soy products, milks, etc. My mom recently started her own organic garden, which we all benefit from.

    • vana

      We’d love these!!!

    • Julie

      I shop at Trader Joes!

    • Lane

I save on organic products by watching for them on clearance.

    • Julie

We freeze the organic fruits and veggies that we purchase from a local farm. They last the entire year!

    • Marianne

My husband and I save on organic products by buying from our local farmer’s market…it’s less than a block away from us!

    • Kelley Collins

I save by using a coupon and watching for sales.

    • Melinda Deakins

Im new to this website… just trying to get serious about couponing. Would love to have a booklet!

    • sarah

These coupons have helped me out so many times – love receiving them and using them. Making the move to organic products takes a bit more money from the grocery budget – but these are a wonderful help

    • bhumi

This coupon booklet is an ideal example of good things come in small packages

    • frugirl2009

I am new to couponing and I was hoping that there was a way to save on organic foods. I would LOVE one of these books! Right now, I grow as many things as I can and get produce from my friends gardens. I also go to the local farmers market, where I know who grew the veggies and how they cared for them!

Thanks for all you do on this site…I am the mom to 3 little girls and this has helped so much! I can’t wait to get even better at all the sales!

    • Veronica

#62 is my lucky number! Thanks for all the work you do! Go organic!

    • CATHY E.

      Hey Jenny,
My nephew will be here at the begining of september and due to his Autism he is all organic. I told the family I would provide food while they are here and i CAN USE ALL THE COUPONS I CAN GET:) Please consider me for this prize.

    • Brittany

We save money every month by buying organic milk! The upfront cost seems higher, but with a household of only two people, we save money because our organic milk lasts for weeks! Gone are the days of throwing away 1/2 full gallons. We buy half as much because it lasts twice as long. Now we have time to finish the whole thing!

    • I love saving money, and coupons are a great way to do so! And coupons for healthy products is even better!

    • I have signed up for several websites that offer coupons on organic products, these are hard to come by though. Would love to win! What a great giveaway.

    • Stephanie

I shop at the farmer’s market and watch for coupons and sales.

    • Jessica Dunagan

Our local Ingles has carts of clearanced items as you walk in the door. Because we live in a small country town most organic products end up in these carts and they accept coupons for these items!

    • Karen D.

I shop and both Whole Foods and Publix for organic products and compare prices. I also use the Mambo Sprout coupons a lot. Sometimes I can use the Whole Foods coupons at Publix with a manufacturers coupon for extra savings. I also check organic company websites for coupons.

    • I absolutely LOVE coming across oportunities to get organic coupons! I always feel better when I eat organic items vs. regular items but dont do so as often because of the price of course, and the fact that I rarely see organic coupons. However like another previous poster I have emailed some of the organic websites with compliments and they have sent me coupons in the past. Also one of Publix’s monthly publishments typically has various organic item coupons, that helps me out some too! I would definitely love to have these coupons!

    • AngthecouponNERD

I know that our family could eat better… pick us!

    • Amy

We have started a garden this year! Lots of trial and error, but the organic arugula was a big success. Just made pesto this weekend with my basil “trees”

      Amy

    • sherry

We share a garden with our neighbors, but since they had a baby this summer, we cut back on what we normally plant. We have had to buy more this year than before, and with four kids, it gets a little expensive. Anyway, i’d love the coupons.

    • yay love to get coupon booklets in the mail. love to try the new organic stuff. some things really are great tasting. PICK ME!!

    • Allie

We try to save on organic foods by using coupons and buying local-grown veggies. I hope I win! :) Thank you for everything!!!

    • Amy

I would love one of these booklets! Thanks for all you do, Jenny!

    • Kim

I would love to have a coupon book please . Thanks for all you do.

    • Susanna

I would like to go all-organic, but financially that is just not a possibility right now. So… I prioritize based on what is most important (to me) to consume. And I try to find coupons for those items, but my biggest help comes from overage from other deals at Publix!

    • Jennifer

Hi, Jenny! My family would very much use and appreciate the coupon books! Thanks for all of your hard work!

    • Elizabeth

My organic farmers at our local farmers market are more affordable than those at the grocery store.

    • Lauren

Community Supported Agriculture. We have a local organic farmer and we buy their organic produce and have it delivered to our home. They also go to our farmers market. It is a much better deal when the money goes to someone local, but I’ll take coupoons anyday!

    • bethany

      Oooh pick me! :)

    • Shauna

Gardening is definitely my favorite way to go organic cheaply. It’s also a great way to get in some light to moderate exercise and enjoy more tasty produce. My favorites from the garden are tomatoes and cucumbers. They just taste so much better than what you can get in the store because you pick and eat them when they are ripe. I think I save the most money on produce from home grown green beans and asparagus.

If you are new to gardening and would like to try to grow something but don’t have the space or commitment, a herb garden is an awesome way to get started. Fresh herbs add so much flavor to foods!

Another easy way to start with home growing foods is to try sprouts. Alfalfa sprouts only take a few days to grow and are very low maintenance. They are about $1 a pint for the sprouts at the store and for the seeds to make that amount its only pennies.

    • Allison

I try to save with organic by buying local produce as much as possible. I splurge whenever things are on sale and I have coupons, and those are the items I get most excited about. My baby LOVES organic yogurts…does Mambo sprouts have coupons for that?!
Anyway, awesome that you’re giving some away! You’ll make some SS fans very happy. =)

    • Stephanie C.

I save on organics by shopping at Mother Earth on Thursdays when everything is 10% off! :o)

    • Heather

To save on organic products, I sign up on the local organic stores’ email lists and they email me all the specials…then match coupons (if avail) and voila! Great savings on organic!

    • ash

the way i typically save $$ on organic products is a local farmer’s market. thanks for the chance to win!

    • Lauren

combining coupons and sales at the grocery…and growing them in my garden!

    • anita

I use coupons to save on organic. Since buying organic is not going to be as feasible we are going to start buy all frozen veggies and say goodbye to the cans.

    • Amy

Didn’t any of you read there is no additional benefits from organic foods?

    • Wendy

WOW!!! Tough competition!!! MY PLEA FOR TWO BOOKLETS: 1) Our town holds a “Fresh Market” twice monthly, where you can purchase organic fruits and veggies, although it is VERY pricey (reason #1 I’d love the coupon booklet). 2) I live in a more rural area, and we have several farmers who offer “U-Pick”, where I can go pick our corn and peas and put them up for the winter, although it is VERY hot and an EXHAUSTING task! (reason #2 I’d love the coupon book- organic+ air conditioned grocery store = One Happy Southern Saver!) Thanks Jenny!

    • I purchase organic fruits and veggies from a local co-op.

    • Kesha

I’m new to this but free sounds great to me, so pick me, please!

    • Katie

I save on Organic products by purchasing from the Farmer’s Market when I have the chance. They have great prices on delicious fresh, organic produce.

    • Robin

I’m new to couponing, but am loving it. My daughter has lots of special dietary needs and has allergies and sensitivities to a lot of the processed foods out there. I’m not sure these are the best ways to save on organics, but it has seemed to help me.
      1. Watch for seasonal deals–in the fall, our health food store always has organic apples on sale. They taste awesome and are comparable with grocery store prices for non organics
      2. Buy in bulk. Our health food store has a bulk section where you can buy beans, pasta, flours etc in bulk. You fill the bag and mark it. Also if you buy in really large quantities from them, they give you 10% off. For instance if you buy a 20 or 25 lb bag of juicing carrots, you get 10% off. I’ve also had them order a case of a fruit bar that my daughter likes and I got the same discount. Just talk with you local health food store to find out how they can help you save. My store’s staff has always been very helpful–they even give me great recipes to try.
      3. Take time to look around the store. Sometimes our healthfood store will clearance things or have produce that is past its peak. I once got organic bananas for 5 cents a pound. I took them home and peeled and bagged them and froze them in my deep freeze. They were perfect for making banana bread and muffins.
      4. Find out about food coops. I have a friend who organizes a group purchase from Country Life every month. You can get really good deals on organics this way–be prepared to buy in bulk as well.

    • We have the wonderful pleasure of having a garden. I try to preserve some of the bounty by freezing and canning so as to enjoy it’s ‘organic’ bounty all year. Also, we buy wheat berries in bulk from Wholefoods for about $35 a huge bag, and then mill all our own flour (we’ve had our wisper mill for 10 years easily) and make all our own fresh bread. It is so yummy, we totally save money and it is so much more healthy than anything you can purchase at the store. The bulk bag lasts us for about 8 months, and that’s 100s of loaves of bread, tons of pancakes, waffles, cookies and other baked goods.

    • Rhonda

I save by keeping a close eye on the Manager Specials at Kroger. Organic products are oftentimes marked down — I just picked up a case of Muir Glen tomato products for a few pennies/can (when paired with coupons). There are usually plenty of markdowns in the produce aisle as well.

    • Tarrah R.

The way I save on not JUST organic items, but any item, is being EXTREME! I have emailed companies (gotten free item coupons), signed up for email or mail lists, (other obvious ways), but the most extreme is that I will go up to vendors and ask if they have any coupons (particularly peelies, because I don’t take these off unless I am buying the item at that time.); yes, I get ‘looks’, but with a family of 6 on a single income, a mama’s gotta do what a mama’s gotta do!

    • Tarrah R.

Oh yes, and My awesome God helps me as well- but that’s a given!

    • nancy

There are mambo sprout Coupon books Not the 25 dollar one. Are at Lows food store.

    • Karen

The way I save with organics is the same way I do with the rest of my groceries, sales + coupons!

    • Jane

I just watched Food Inc. and am trying to go more organic, even thought it’s SO expensive. I would love to have the coupon book!

    • Christy

Would love to get these!! Thanks for all you do! I have learned to save A LOT of money through your website!!

    • Michelle in SC

I would love the free coupon books!! Thank you for the time and effort that you take to do this. I have love organic items and anything to help cut the cost. Thanks again for all you do.

    • Nikki

I would love to receive these coupon books. I just started couponing about 5 months ago and I am addicted to it. I kept seeing these listed as a resource for coupons, but never knew how to get one. I have a two year old so they would be beneficial to our family. Thanks for all you do to make it easier for us to save!

    • Megan

I have learned to ask my grocery stores which day they do mark downs and buy my organic items on those days. A markdown stacked with a coupon can really help bring down those expensive organic prices.

    • Jennifer

We’ve been saving on organic, healthier food by cooking more at home. It’s much better for our health, and costs less, too!

    • Amanda

We save on organics by buying in bulk during a sale and using our freezer to freeze what we don’t need right now.

    • I’d love to win the coupon books.

    • Laurel

      Please pick me!

My daughter has severe food allergies – wheat, corn , dairy, eggs, peanuts, shellfish. The all-natural foods featured by Mambo Sprouts are perfect for her. Saving money and buying her the foods she needs would be super.

By the way, I am new to couponing and I love your site.

    • Heather

Oh Yeah! Pick me! I save by shopping the best prices in my area and visiting the farmers market.

    • Jen B

I just signed up for Mambo Spouts. Thanks for the info!

    • Margie

The organics will go great with my organic vegetable garden – tomatoes, squash and herbs. Too bad the chipmunks took the rest. Please send a coupon book my way, thanks a bunch.

    • Elizabeth

Pick Me Pick Me. Thanks for offering these books. I love to incorporate organics and of course I LOVE coupons!

    • Martha

I usually look for markdowns and try to match with coupons if available. I hope I win. Thanks

    • Sherri

I am fairly new to couponing, and have been wondering how one saves on organic products and produce. I’ve read some of your posts on saving on produce, like the Farmer’s Market and Co-ops. I would definately love to win these coupons so I could bring home some healthy items for my husband and 2-year old daughter who loves shopping with Mommy. I’d also like to show my husband, who thinks I’m a bit obsessed with all the couponing now, that I can also save big on organic items. I hope I win.

    • BeccaM

Yea organic coupons! I have such a hard time finding those in Earth Fare, I think people must snatch them up fast!

    • Amanda

I save on organics by stacking publix/manufacturer q’s and waiting for the good sales

    • cortney

Hi I have an 8 1/2 month old daughter and I try to give her as much organic food as possible. Mostly I make all of her baby food and love shopping on sale at The Fresh Market. I use some store brand baby food for when we travel so then I search the sales ads for Babies-R-US,
Target, and other stores using Gerber coupons and store coupons so I would LOVE the extra help.
      Thanks,
      Cortney

    • Shannon

      Would love some free coupons!

    • Edwina Gazaille

Hi…my girlfriend Rochelle told me about all of this…I’ve tried clipping coupons…hassle….too busy….anyhow…she’s been saving tons of money by using this site & others…and I wanna try it! I always think…”you have to be willing to buy the unhealthy food to use all of the coupons & save money”….well, we eat healthy…so, now & then I’ll find coupons for items we use….but then there are so few, I don’t always bother….so, I’m very curious as to what type of coupons this book would actually have!!! We’ve been in NC for 3 years and are headed (hopefully) back up north in the next month or so….groceries are sooo expensive there….we do have CVS & RITE AID…so, I guess if that’s where I can save, I will….it is so hard to eat healthy & save money! I would love to win a stash of coupons for organic foods!!!!
      Thanks:)

    • Shannon in ATL

Would love two books, I’ve created an organic snob in my 12 year old son!

    • Coupon Addict

I get the best deal ever on organic products- FREE! I have a few friends that have organic gardens, and they either just give me their extra tomatoes and squash and such, or sometimes I will swap with them their produce for some of the dry or canned goods that I have bought and have extra of! It’s been great!

    • jessica

      Hey jenny!
besides the random coupons we get for organic products.. i use my overage for dairy, juices, and some meat.. would love to add more into our diet but for now and budget cost that is all we can do.. so this book would be wonderful!

either way thank you for all you do! y ou have helped me (and all my friends) save tons:)

    • One way to save on organics is by trading! Many people grow their own small garden, and if they live close enough, trading some fresh produce, spices or even eggs is easy, inexpensive and can build great relationships.

My family lives in a small country community, so this was easy to do over the years. I have recently moved away, but maybe I can start a trend in my new non-gardening neighborhood as well! Even if it’s just an herb garden, it can save a lot of money!

In the meantime, I am saving by using coupons, buying bulk and then preparing & splitting meals with a good friend.

    • rossi

love it, need it, want it! count me in :)

    • ***Raises hand for booklet*** I would love a couple of these. Thanks for offering the giveaway! I tried signing up for the booklets a few months ago, but the website said it didn’t deliver to my area at that time.

    • Nikki J.

We joined a CSA this year. It provides a ton of organically grown local produce that we pick up weekly from May-October. Hopefully next year when we buy a house I can begin to plant my own. :) I also use coupons to buy grocery items (milk, eggs, etc.) so that helps.

      Thanks for all you do.

    • I would love to eat healthy – cheaper!

    • Bobbie

      I ain’t never won nothing.

    • Nikki C

I love eating organic, but only when it is on sale, plus coupons!

    • Hannah

      I want one… or two!!!

    • Laura

Fabulous! Organic coupons are few and far between!!

    • becky

i check a bunch of different organic food websites, most of them are recommended by you, and print off their coupons. thanks for all you do – you are helping a ton of people who need it save money.

    • I would love to have some organic food coupons! I’ve been thinking about trying to eat more organic and healthier foods lately. Trying to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. :)

    • **RAISES HAND AND SWINGS IT IN THE AIR AND SAYS “OOOH OOOOHHHHH PICK MEEEE PICK MEEEEEE**

    • India

We would love to have more organic coupons! Slowly trying to incorporate more organic foods into the house!

    • Kelly

I grow my own organic produce and herbs. I also frequent several websites and print their coupons. My favorite organic food is Celestial Seasonings teas.

    • Laura

I sign up on the sites to get any newsletters etc about the company and they usually send me coupons in the mail. I did this w/Earthfarms and got tons of great deals!

    • Linda B

I’m jumping up and down, my hands are in the air.
I feel like such a clown, since only I am here.
I wish that you could see me it’s got to be a hoot,
This coupon wanting mama’s shakin clear down to her boots!
I didn’t know how hooked I was until I saw this post,
I just hope this little ditty catches the eye of our FINE host!

    • Nette

Pick me! I buy the Whole Foods brand whenever possible. There are coupons in the books they keep at the front. LOVEN some coupons! :)

    • I’m big on new and exciting coupons, but if I win these, I will give them to my new couponing friend, Sara, as she LOVES organic products. I’d like to give them to her to brighten her day!

    • Mandy

I also save money by using a co-op. In my family we don’t use a lot of milk either so buying organic (which has a later expiration) helps us not waste any and is better for our daughter!

    • Caroline

I am new at this and just started clipping organic coupons from the list that you suggested on your site. I would love the Mambo book.

    • Kylene

Every time I go to a health food store, i pick up a free magazine called Taste For Life. Its packed with organic coupons that you can use anywhere, and most health food stores carry this mag. Its right by the door. Also, I cant afford to buy all my produce organic, so I buy organic fruits and veggies that are known to harbor the most pesticides when grown conventionally. They are know as the “dirty dozen”
and u can find a list of them at ewg.org. Then everything else I buy conventional. Pick me!

    • Heather B.

hope i’m not too late to enter!! thanks again for sharing the savings!

    • Heather M-H

We too use a co-op for what we can. One of my twins is allergic to dairy and peanuts and a lot of time the only foods we can find for him are organic and vegan. We are starting our own composting for a garden and we clip as many organic Qs as we can find, as feeding a family of five organicly without them is TOUGH!

    • Lindsey

I think going to the manafacturer’s websites that you frequently buy is the best way to save on organics!

    • Krystal

I don’t generally buy organic products because they are usually so much more expensive. A coupon book would be a great way to start though!

    • Jacque

I grow and raise my own and sell and donate the extra to food banks so everyone has the chance to save on organics.

    • this would be such a treat to win! :)

    • Tina

Please send me the coupon books. Thank you very much!

    • Mindy

I would love to win one of the coupon booklets

    • Michaelene

Anything to help bring down the price of healthier food options :)

    • Terri

We have started using organic everywhere we can. We have gotten cheaper prices by going to the farmer’s market on Saturday mornings to get fresh eggs & vegetables. I never thought about it until you mentioned it on your web and bought all those green beans! It planted a great idea in my idea to buy fresh from the farmers market and freeze the vegetables. Now, only if I had my own cow for milk!! Thanks for all the time you invest in us–I’ve learned so much from you.

    • JenS

      Ooh, ooh! *Raises hand!*

    • Elizabeth

I love buying organic! It’s pretty easy to save on organic juices – Whole Foods has occasional great deals!

    • Saving on organic products seems to be a LOT harder than conventional but much more rewarding as I know how much our family benefits!

Here are my top SEVEN ways to save organically…..

      1) Email organic companies to receive coupons
      2) buy sale items from the weekly Whole Foods flyer
      3) read daily coupon blogs to learn about occasional organic deals
      4) go to http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com to find out what organic coupons are available
      5) join a CSA (community supported agriculture/garden) and buy the farmers pick box every week for $20. Mine is Moore Farms in Georgia (Atlanta). Every week is a surprise of fresh, organic, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
      6) grow a garden (although mine is not doing as well as I had hoped…this is my first year)
      7) cook…a lot. Make your own organic yogurt (super easy just search on line for instructions), bake your own organic bread in a bread machine (well worth the investment) and make meals that can be turned into more than one meal and frozen for the future. ex: roasted an “on sale” whole turkey breast on the bone yesterday for last nights dinner and saved the leftover turkey to serve in a rice casserole tonight. (2 dinners out of one – cheaper and easier).

Oh… and see the movie Food Inc. to know why it is so important to buy organic! I saw it this weekend and it was amazing.

By the way…. I would love the Mambo Sprouts booklets!

    • Christine Wright

I would love the coupon books. I like to buy organic but sometimes it’s too expensive. Our Kroger will have stuff on clearance sometimes. Thanks Jenny.

    • JennyM

I’m trying to convince my organic friend that she too can save money couponing…..I would love to share this with her and pass down the blessings that this site has been .

    • Christine

I would love some coupons. The store by me doesn’t get these.

      Pick me PLEASE:)

    • I am just getting into organics, so I basically just go to Web sites and print coupons. I enjoyed the Santa Cruz juice coupons available recently.

    • Jan

We would love these! We have found the organic section of Kroger to be awesome, and would never have started shopping there if it wasn’t for Southern Savers, thank you!

    • erica

I love the pureness of organic foods but my budget doesn’t always allow for an organic diet. However, I have a three year old who has always drank organic milk because I feel its a simple budget friendly way to give him something organic everyday. He really loves Horizon strawberry milk so whenever they have coupons on their website I print them off and it saves me as much as $1.10 off a three pack. On a weekly basis I go to 2-5 grocery stores depending on sales and coupons and at each store I always check the marked down meats for any organic items that my family eats. I have found some really great deals this way- especially at Harris Teeter.

    • Barbara

      I would love these!
      Thanks for all your help.

    • Deanna

these booklets would be great to have!

    • bill

      Hand raised. thanks.

    • AngthecouponNERD

      …..

    • Debbie

Thank you for sharing…you are a god sent…God Bless you….

    • My plan is to use these coupons in combo with a local $25 off $100 at my local organic grocery store!!! I know the store is struggling in these economic times and I would love to support them when I can! Thanks for all you do! My husband and I decided to live of one income so I could be home with our little ones, 2 1/2 year old and 6 week old. Your site has allowed us to cut 200-$300 off our food budget each month, making our goal possible! Thanks so much!

    • wow! almost 200 replies!! ;) Thanks Jenny for all you do!! All my friends are so excited to be “coupon nerds”!! I myself have been saving money but trying to figure out how to eat better too!! thanks for the giveaway!!

    • Sharon

I’m “raising my hand” : ) The biggest way I save on organic products is by growing my own–no kidding. We also have a local co-op that sells organic produce, which I buy from weekly. It makes me feel good to get the food straight from the growers.

    • Sharon

PS I tell everyone about you site, Jenny. How’s that for sucking up?

    • Sharon

Oh, great…that should be “your”…it’s late.

    • Denise

I have told so many people about you that it’s only fair if you pick me. :)

    • Marci

I have two babies that I make organic baby food for as well as a toddler. We try to eat as much organic as we can afford, and the coupons would sure help:)

    • Jeannie

We joined an organic CSA (shares in an organic farm) and get veggies delivered for six months out of the year. It is a HUGE money-saver. Also, I contact natural foods companies (like Stoneyfield or Kashi) and they will send free coupons in the mail.

    • valerie

I just started couponing, so I don’t have much expertise. We like to buy in season produce at our local farmers market to preserve and use throughout the year. Thanks!

    • Jodi

If you have any left,I would love one. Thanks for the offer.

    • Holly

I would love these!! Thank you for sharing :)

    • Bela

I save on organic fruits and veggies… by growing some of my own! =) What better way to be frugal than growing them at home.

    • Cat

I try to save by shopping at a local farmer’s market weekly and planning meals around what is in season. I also use coupons and stock up on non-perishables during sales.

    • Rene K

How do we save on organics? We are part of an organic co-op and also buy eggs from a local SAHM whenever her cage free, grass pickin’ chickens leave her with extra! Would [heart] this booklet! Thanks for the chance!!

    • Caroline

I WOULD LOVE TO GET THESE NEW ONES!
I JUST SIGNED UP ON THEIR WEBSITE TO GET THE BOOK FROM NOW ON:
      http://www.mambosprouts.com/coupons/free_coupons.php

    • Lauri

I would love to have a booklet.

      Thanks so much!

    • Amy

Our family of 5 grow all our own vegetables organic and can/freeze to eat them year around. We would gladly use organic coupons!! Thanks for all you do

    • Brandy

I still feel new at this, even though I’ve been doing it since April, but we don’t buy organic at all. I figured I would always start going that way once I mastered your plans. This booklet would be a great way for me to start though. Thanks!

    • Carrie Beth

I look for items about to expire which are on the manager’s special and try to match a coupon with them!

    • Kim

I would LOVE to win this!!! I don’t have many ideas to save money as we are just starting out on this journey, and we just recently found out that we must change our son to gluten free diet, along with no red dyes or chocolate. It’s such a tedious experience!

So far, I’m grinding my own rice flour and doing as much baking at home as possible (besides, the rice bread you buy in the store is HORRIBLE), secondly I’ve noticed that at Kroger’s organic section, since they are so cramped for space on the tiny isle for organics that they will do some closeout prices for products they won’t be selling anymore. I hope to become educated on this subject really quickly, as it’s so stressful to not know what to feed your child. Thanks so much for the GREAT giveaway!!

    • Laura C

We save by buying local organic whenever we can – produce and goat milk from the Farmers Market, meat & chicken from a local organic grass fed farm when it’s on sale and eggs from friends who have chickens. These are still higher than conventional but with the money we save otherwise (thanx SoutherSavers!) we can swing more organic than before.

    • Trudy

ME ME ME!!!!! What a great giveaway!!!

    • Alyssa

How wonderful that you are able to get coupon books like these and other freebies from companies and stores! Thanks for blessing us with fun giveaways and the incredibly awesome lists that help ALL of us be winners by saving money. Thanks, Jenny!

    • Kristen

I save on organics in several different ways. 1)I wait eagerly each year for the go green organic coupon book that comes out around earth day and I grab a few more each time I visit the store and I use these for eggs and yogurt through the summer, as well as for other products that go on sale. Last week in Aug I’ll buy 6-8 quarts of yogurt for the freezer before the coupons expire. 2) I’ve talked to all the venders at my local farmers market and a couple farm organic even though they are not certified, and they have very decent prices.3)I use food lion produce coupons for organic produce at publix. 4) I am on the mailing lists for Whole Foods and Earhfare so I scan for sales that correspond w/my organic coupons. Then I send my husband since he works close to both stores. 5)Lastly, my Ingles often puts organics close to expiation on sale in a big bin at the front of the store. These items with coupon are often really good deals.

    • Kim

I use coupons for organics of course!

    • Kristen M

      I love coupons!

    • Tracy

I have been saving big on org milk since I discovered GreenWise at Publix.

    • Color me interested!

    • Beth

I scour the web for printable coupons and also check the discount section at Kroger. We buy a lot of organic, so I’m always looking for ways to save!

    • Hope I’m not too late – I use coupons and sales to save on organics, and stock up during Earth Week!

    • I’m a little behind the curve. Just found you today. I haven’t been using coupons because there are never any for organic “stuff”. So here goes my plea – PICK ME!!

    • Stacey

I’d love to get a coupon book. Just starting to get into buying organic from Kroger for my family. Yay!! Crossing my fingers!!

    • Michelle J-A

I try my best to give my two young girls, husband and I the very best. I make my own baby food using organic foods to make sure the girls are not eating unnatural things that could be harmful to their little bodies. Since organic foods are so expensive I try to save money on food by growing some of my own produce. I also buy produce when it is on sale and freeze the remainder that we don’t use soon after purchase. The scraps we add to the compost pile so that nothing goes to waist. I try to make most of my food at home, but having the option for pre-made organic food can really be a life saver at times. Southern Savers has helped me save more money in the half a year that I have been going to this site and for that even if I don’t get the coupon books I am still thankful for everything that this site has given me.

    • Jennifer

      I would love some coupons!

    • Yes, I would absolutely like to have the coupon booklets
      thanks,
      MR

      thanks Jenny

    • Cassy

I am trying to buy more organic foods for my baby. I have been making her baby food and buying my produce in season when it is on sale. SInce the baby food is frozen in ice cube trays we have baby food to last when the prices on organic are too high.

    • Suzie Schaum

      me me me…please.

    • Ever since my oldest son told his friend that he shouldn’t eat Red 40 because it was bad for him, I’ve found fun ways to save on organic items. Like swapping out homegrown items with friends to get greater varieties, or searching online for printable coupons, or just going to the local farmers market instead of all over town to grocery chains!

    • Tabetha

I would love a book. I have never did the coupon thing but would really love to start. Newbee here :)

    • Carol Velasco

Would love them as well thanks

    • Andrea

I save money on organic products by making my own baby food for my daughter. Not only do I save money by making the food myself, I am not purchasing dozens of glass jars and plastic containers. I am supporting local farmers by purchasing their products and most importantly, giving my daughter the building blocks to a healthy life! With all the money I save couponing, I am able to buy organic dairy products, produce (the items on the dirty dozen list) and beef/poultry items while staying within my grocery budget each month.

    • Sam

I’d love to enter this — thanks, Jenny!

Some ways I save on organics:

I subscribe to a CSA veggie box throughout the year. They give a $50 discount for paying for your subscription early, so I do that. I also get a half-box, which matches my family’s needs better than a full box would.

I also watch the weekly sales at the nearest Whole Foods, and collect internet printables.

    • Cory (company closed) H.

Organic….SIGN ME UP! I would love to get these coupons because I really neeeeeeeeed the savings. Thanks for offering this. Have a great day!
