Upromise May eCoupons are up!. They have over $29 dollars in coupons this month. Load them now and have them saved for any purchases during the month!

These are a little different than the other e coupons:

  1. You can use them at almost any store!
  2. The money does not come off at the register but is put in your Upromise account.

Can I use a coupon too?
Yes! These are not tied to coupons or discounts in the store.

I don’t have a kid…
Not a problem. We had a Upromise account for almost 2 years before our kids were born. Once we had kids we went in and changed it our of our names to our kids names. Grandparents can also sign up and have it go to their grandchildren! We have 3 sets of grandparents all saving a little bit for our kiddos. You can change the beneficiary at any time.

Do you have to use a credit card for paying when you use your u-promise card?

      • Kristen

No you don't. You use your grocery card. The grocery cards are linked to your UPromise account, so the money is automatically put into your account. You can apply for their credit card if you want, and have an extra 10% put into your account, but I'm credit card debt free, so this was not an option for me. You can link your credit or debit card to your account, and then every time you swipe your card at participating restaurants, a certain percentage of your purchase price will be put into your UPromise account. Did that help??

But how do you “load” them? I have a upromise account but have never loaded ecoupons before. Help!

          • Telyva

Go to “My account” put in your password – then when it takes you to the page of your account, on the sidebar under “profile” should be a link that says “Add grocery cards”. Just put the number on the back of your grocery card and hit “submit”. That's it!

How exactly does this work… I went to the site, signed up and dont see how to load coupons to a card or something???? What am I missing

    • Alan

Is there any sign up bonuses like the $10 publix one at the end of last year. Or are there referral bonuses, or anything else? I was waiting until I could find a bonus to signup

    • Michelle

Publix has a card you get in the store and add to your account online. There should be a spot to add your CVS card number and others like sweetbay.

      • Sarah

I went to my local Publix (in Atlanta), to the customer service desk and asked them about a u-promise card and they had no idea what I was talking about. Since they don't have a frequent shopper card like Kroger, I don't know what card to link to my u-promise account. Any ideas/hints? Could it be that the one employee didn't know about it, but someone else would?

        • Amanda

My Publix hass them at Customer Service. They come on a sheet, with two wallet cards and two key cards. They're light green on white plastic. Go to another one, they may know what you need.

    • Abigail

Help! Everytime I try to signup for the Upromise program, it gives me the page not found screen. Is there something I'm missing?

    • Jenny

I load my coupons on UPROMISE and then shop at Kroger and I hand them my card and they say they don't accept it there only Kroger cards. I live in Middle Tennessee, am I doing something wrong?

Did you know you don't have to have a kid to save for? The purpose is college savings and they promote the 529 savings plan which you can open up for yourself and save for yourself. Also, you can request a check each quarter from the Upromise account and do whatever you want with it (read the program guide). I personally put the money in a coverdell savings account instead of a 529 so that I have more flexibility and investment options. Happy savings!
