You can remember your cravings as a child: chicken nuggets, white bread with PB&J smeared on it, and plain cheese pizza. While some kids have a pretty advanced palate and don’t mind experimenting with new things, the truth is that most kids develop tastes for different foods over time (and what they eat also depends on what is introduced when and if they think things look or smell yucky, but that subject is for a different time).

But now that you’re a grown-up, your food possibilities are endless (of course, depending on your preference and/or allergies)! If you get a craving for pizza, you don’t have to stop at simply cheese: add tons of veggies to make it a nutritious meal fit for mature taste buds! Want PB&J? Try a mixture of fresh fruit and honey instead of jarred jelly.

Note: The prices listed are based on an average price of what’s on sale this week at various stores and are subject to change weekly.
