Make an easy dinner for your family with these chicken breast recipes!

We pretty much always have chicken breasts stocked up in our freezer. It’s an easy protein to prepare and it’s really versatile. You can slow cook chicken to make yummy soups, saute it for a quick stir-fry, or roast it with veggies for a hearty meal. Really, the possibilities are endless with chicken.

To save the most money on your chicken breasts, try to find places that allow you to buy meat in bulk or call a nearby processing plant. For more information, you can check out my post on how to save on meat.

      I have 4 or more recipes I love ..
      Saucy Mexican chicken by Kraft – chicken breasts, 1 cup chunky salsa, 1 can black beans, undrained, 1/2 cup 2% mexican cheese

      Lime and Chili rubbed chicken breasts from livebetteramerica
      2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp brown sugar, 2 tsp grate lime peel (or I just use lime juice), 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/8 tsp ground red pepper (I use red pepper flakes). Leave in rub and grill !

      Cool Ranch Crockpot Chicken Tacos from familyfreshmeals

      chicken breasts
      1 pkt taco seasoning mix
      1 pkt ranch dressing mix
      14 ounces chicken broth
      Throw in crockpot on low 4 hrs .. take out.. shred with 2 forks and return to “juices” in crockpot for 30 min. DELISH!

      Chicken & Black Bean Chili
      1 lb chicken breasts
      2 cans black beans
      1 can corn
      1 can diced tomatoes
      1 can tomato sauce
      2 Tbsp chili powder
      2 tsp black pepper
      1 tiny can green chilies

      All in crockpot. Cook low – 15 minutes before serving take chicken out .. shred .. return to crockpot. Serve with salsa, sour cream, tortilla chips, fritos, whatever you like!

      Well Chicken stir fry is my all time favorite recipe.I made this for supper tonight. It was good but did not have much flavor. I ended up adding more sauce, and some olive oil and some chili flakes and it was better.
