Murphy’s USA just loaded their May Gas coupon.  $2 off $10 purchase of Premium Gas or Diesel.  You will need to register for their email newsletter to be able to print it.

(thanks CouponersUnited!)

Another Gas Saving Idea:

For folks in Columbia SC or other areas with Bi-Lo & Publix stores, in tomorrow’s Publix ad get a coupon for $10 off any $50 BP Gift Card.  Use your Bi-Lo fuel perks and your discounted gift card together and you’ve got a pretty decent deal!

    • CarolinaGirl80

They are also giving away free cokes on their Facebook page!

    • grisy

Can you use a BP gift card on a Sunoco gas station??

    • Too bad I'm boycotting BP….

    • Suemh

This coupon does not state that you have to buyy $10 worth of gas. Since I use regular, I was thinking about just getting $5 worth of premium to use the coupon. Think this will work?

    • Bobbie

Is Murphy & BP the same??

    • Heather

BP is no longer an option for my family, after the oil spill.

    • Jenni

I find it interesting that so many people are declaring BP “guilty” before being proven to be so. Personally, I'm waiting until AFTER the investigation to make a decision about them. (Btw – I rarely get gas there as it is, so I'm not a “fan” of theirs. I just believe in making informed decisions, not reactionary ones.)

      • AmandaM1234

Here here.. and, last I checked they weren't the only ones to ever have an oil spill. Not excusing the event, just saying.

      • Ashley

Not being controversial, I promise, but I don't think there's really a question of guilt here…BP is open that it is their equipment that caused the spill. Sure there will be an investigation, but really more just to find out what went wrong than to place guilt.

Obviously you are certainly within your rights to wait until after the investigation to make your decision about the company…and I do get what you mean about not being reactionary. Luckily it's not a decision I have to make as I never use BP stations anyway (not convenient to my area).

The $10 off $50 is a great deal though, and gas deals are hard to come by, spill or no spill.

I really think it is silly to boycott BP. It was their equipment. Any company could have had equipment problems. I guess then, those of you that are boycotting BP are also boycotting Tylenal, Motrin, Zyrtec, and Benedryl (seeing as they just recalled their products admitting they may have more of the active ingredient than they are supposed to). I'm just sayin………

It seems to me that the leak was an accident. It was an explosion. I'm quite certain that the dozen people killed didn't want to die.

If you want to boycott somebody, boycott incumbent politicians by removing all of them from office in November. There was a plan to address this problem developed in 1994, and just like during Katrina, it wasn't implemented. Instead of having fire booms on hand and burning the oil off before this got out of hand, they are scrambling after waiting a week. I guess they were busy looking at the amount of salt in our diet.

Next will be the grandstanding by politicians about how the evil, putrid, big oil company will pay — and pay they should. But I guarantee you will hear nothing of their own failures.

If you want to boycott oil companies, boycott middle eastern ones.

I agree completely!!! This post is spot-on!

    • Elizabeth

Is this for $2 off a purchase of gas? or is it $2 off a gallon? I know that's a stupid question, but I want to be prepared when I go… Thanks!

      • Ashley

$2 off of the purchase of gas, and the purchase has to be at least $10 worth of gas. I wish it was $2 of per gallon, that would be sweet!

    • S_Carolina_Girl

I'm confused by the statement above. BP, Sunoco (Bi-Lo Fuel Perks) and Murphy USA are three different stores, are they not? Can you use the Fuel Perks at BP also?

    • Brenda

I NEVER got my coupon. I even e-mailed them asking why. No response.

    • Gamecock-fan
