Do you have a Longhorn Steakhouse in your city?  Guess what they will pay you to eat there!  They are constantly seeking mystery shoppers for lunch and dinner at all their locations.  Melanie (our Bi-Lo deal gal) posted about it a month or so ago, I signed up and completed a mystery shop and this weekend we got our compensation!

Here are the details:
Go here and sign up.  After you register they will email you with available “shops” in your area.  We had our first assignment within 48 hours of registering!  Each household is able to mystery shop for Longhorn’s twice a year (sorry no weekly date nights).  You will get your check within 4 weeks of your shop. (We got our’s in 3 weeks).

You can choose either a lunch or dinner shop, dinner reimbursement is slightly higher.  If you choose lunch you will be reimbursed $25 towards your meal and $10 for filling out the survey.  Dinner is reimbursed at $30 for the meal and $10 for the survey.

Their requirements for our dinner shop were to order at least 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert and 1 drink(soda or anything else).  You can split items if you like between guests.  My husband and I shared the appetizer and dessert but each had our own entree.  After reimbursement and including tax and tip we paid $17 for a meal of so much food we had to take home three boxes!

You submit your survey online after shopping, it will take a good 20 minutes but for $40 back that wasn’t to bad to me.

A tip from Melanie: The lunch shops are more sought after so if you don’t care when you go just try for a dinner one.
