Hello, Just wanted to share with you that while I was shopping today, Target’s brand of milk is $1.99 a gallon. Thanks for all you do to keep us informed where the best deals are.

      • Teresa

I live in Cleveland, Ga & milk here is running $1.98/$1.99 at Walmart & Ingles. I go to Gaiesville to shop at Publix & Kroger, but no one can match our prices on milk!

        • Alena

Agree! Our Walmart in Woodstock, GA has 1.98 milk year round, no one can beat that, unless its free!

          • AJ

Walgreens has had its milk on sale the past weeks 1.89 a gallon. Been 1.98 a gallon previously but in the past week unadvertised it has gone down to 1.89 a gallon. The signs in the store have not changed at my local one but the price did drop.

            • Kat

If anyone has an ALDI nearby then that is the place to go for your milk and eggs. Milk is always 1.49 or lower. Eggs usually hover around 1.20 but can go as low as .89

          • Laurie

Wow, I live in Woodstock and I avoid that Wal mart all I can just because most prices are not lower especially with this website now with coupon matchups. I can’t believe you found the milk at 1.99, I have never seen it low at WM, it is typically much much higher than the grocery stores. I usually go to Aldi for the 1.49 anyway, but at least now I can check if I happen to be by there.

      Jenny
Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to get these lists up every week. I’m a full time pharmacy student and my husband just recently lost his job. Being in school doesn’t allow me to work full time and working a few days a week really pushes it. We don’t have a lot of money and I hardly have any free time between working and studying so I’m not able to look for the best deals. Thanks to your website, we’re able to save so much money (and time!) and still have plenty of food in our pantry. I was afriad when my husband lost his job that we would end up eating things like ramen and mac and cheese every day but we’re able to have good nutrious meals thanks to your website. Not to say that there haven’t been major cut backs in our home but at least I know I won’t have to worry about food. You are such a blessing to us. I hope you know how important and what a life saver you are to so many families, especially ours!

Love this “need it now” list!!! I haven’t seen this before (but haven’t been here in a few weeks). So very helpful! Thank you!

    • Jackie from Palm Coast

Milk in Florida PUblix is 3.09 a gallon. =( At least in Palm Coast.

    • Abigail

Oh, by the way I know that some people might not be aware but if you have a membership to Costco (or know of a friend or family member that has one), the regular price of 2% milk at the Costco in Charleston, SC is $2.35 for a whole gallon! I rarely buy milk anywhere else because the regular price at Costco is much cheaper than other stores sale prices. I would think that the cost would be similiar at SAM’s Clubs too.

Also, if you have a Costco near you, you might want to check their prices on prescriptions. They are much cheaper than most other pharmacies and you don’t have to have a membership to use them. You just tell the person at the door that you need to go to the pharmacy and they let you in. This has been a lifesaver for me and others, especially those without insurance or those with pets that take medications. I have friends that have saved literally hundreds by switching. They have lots of prescriptions that you can get 3 months worth for less that $10. My parents get their dogs epilepsy medication and are able to get a whole years worth for $20!

Thank you Jenny! Since I started using your site (and attending your class in Atlanta, Ga earlier this month) I have started saving my family up to 75% off on our grocery bills! Thank you thank you thank you!

    • Joy

Jenny, Thought I’d let you know. Our local Walgreens had gallon of Milk for $2.49 which beat our Kroger. Since I was already getting the Northern tissue I saved on Milk too.

    • Just wanted to say that at my Food Lion in Triad NC, the Willy Wonka Laffy Taffy is on sale for $2.00 per bag which makes it free with coupon! Also the Butter Fingers are on sale 2/$6 when you use 2 coupons it makes them $1 each!

    • Chanda

This “Need it Now” weekly list is so helpful!!!! I’m not able to study every grocery flyer for the best sales and this helps me so much. I can’t tell you enough how much your site and this helps me each week. This site a wonderful blesesing!!!

    • GG

At my Bi-LO the Purex detergent is $2.88 not $1.88, is that a typo or is it actually selling for $1.88 at some Bi-Lo’s?

    • Susan

Does anyone know where I can get cheap sour cream right now? Any on sale or coupons out there? Thanks! Need it now!

      • Kari

My Publix in Lexington SC had Publix brand sour cream 160z for 1.32
