Since we're asking about sales on certain items, I'm needing baker's chocolate, molasses, Hillshire Farm lil Smokies and Crispix cereal at a good price. Help is appreciated.

      • Beth G.

Unfortunately, all I have for you is one item at Giant. Not sure if you have one in your area. Mine has Lil smokies, 2/$5 which is an o.k. price point. Anything under $3. each is my rule-of-thumb.

    • Dbwiseman

How is Angel Soft Free at BiLo? This page says 4 count. All coupons are for 6 count or more…

      • elizabeth

Unfortunately this happens a LOT. Jenny is great and does us a valuable service, but she lists coupons that aren't valid and “cheat” the store. You have to be very careful. I tried to use a .50/1 coupon for Idahoian potatos yesterday and was embarassed. It clearly stated it was for a larger quantitiy – not the little package I was buying. I wasn't trying to cheat the store — I just used the coupon Jenny listed. Beware. . . .

        • Beth

No offense but if it clearly stated that it was for a larger size then you clearly should have seen that and not used it. You are responsible for yourself. I looked back at what she listed and she was clear about the sale size and the coupon size. I suppose personal responsibility is a thing of the past since “Jenny posted it”.

          • Sparklecat2009

I always always check my coupons for expiration dates at home and then when I get to the store and put the item in my shopping cart I double check sizes and quantities. There is no way that I hold anybody else responsible for the choices/decisions that I make. That is the bottom line.

            • Beth

I agree 110%. I do the same thing.

            • Beth

I agree 110%. I do the same thing.

        • tony

Honestly, I am trying to resist the emotion of anger when reading your comment. It is dripping with negativity and blame. When you have your own site and do the work that Jenny does flawlessly then you might have some real credibility but until then…silence is a wonderful virtue.

        • Lori

Ummmm…Do you know how to READ?? If the coupons did NOT match the size, why did YOU try to use it?? Were you trying to cheat the store??

      • We try to catch anything like that. Just leave a comment on the main post whenever you see that and I'll take it off. Doing 17 stores a week it's very hard to always be right. We should never use coupons that don't match though and my goal is NOT to help you cheat the store.

        • Dbwiseman

Thanks :) I thought I may have been missing something.

Jenny… I do thank you for all you do!!!!! :)

    • Karen

I'm kind of new to this site, and I would like to know how can I get the prices that are listed here? Do I have to look for coupon somewhere else?

      • Click on the store name at the top of Southern Savers to find the weekly ad list for that store.

This list is really to help folks that like to compare across multiple stores.

    • Kawee02

Anyone know where I can get lump crab meat on sale?

      • Tony

The best price I ever see is at Sam's…somewhere around $16.00 a pound for the lump premium crab meat.

    • Lucentk

Love this list. use every week for my fruit. Since WW has changed I buy alot of fruit now. Love everything that you do Jenny!

    • Sally

      Jenny et al:
How long do you suggest keeping Smart Saver & Red Plum Sunday inserts? I have been wondering when to throw the old ones out – yesterday I discardeed August sets…Do you keep a general rule for this?
      Sally

      • debra

On her video about coupons, she says to keep them 12 weeks

    • Maryccc1959

If anyone has an IGA their meats were a good price this past week. ground beef 75% was 1.98 lb, pork chops were 1.97 a pound and I found some boneless chicken breasts that were reduced half price.
