There is a new code for a free rental from a Blockbuster Express. Just use the code GT18A for a movie free rental (exp 8/30). Remember, it’s only free if you return it the next day!

(thanks savethecoupons!)

Can you use the code more than once?

      • Once per credit/debit card.

      I LOVE these codes!

The last time a “Free” code was posted, I went and rent one movie each with two different credit cards. I was charged on both cards. Didn't work for me. :(

      • Kaminer317

        same here :(

The last code didn't work for me either but I just didn't finish the transaction so I was never charged.

Same thing happened with me. It looked like it was free when I checked it out, but then when I returned it, I saw the $1.08 charge. I was hoping it was a mistake, but, nope, it was on my credit card bill. I don't think I want to try another one…

        • Reymannkids

That's exactly what happened to me. Looked free but then the charged showed up. I wonder how many people think they are getting it free and then don't realize they were charged.

      • Kermit11

I had a similar situation happen and when I called Blockbuster they said the charge was there but when the movie was returned they removed the charge. He siad basically it was a charge that was “on hold” until the movie was returned. My charges were removed the day I returned my movies.

        • Reymannkids

I can't say with certainty that they didn't remove my charges once I returned them. However… I check my on-line statement daily and don't remember the charges ever being returned.

I have used them several times, I love free movies!

Can anyone tell me if the code only good if selected online, or does the kiosk also offer option to enter the code?
