Can both a cents off and a B1G1 coupon be used in the same transaction?  I tried recently with a razor B1G1 and a cents off and the cashier at Kroger told me that they were unable to accept it and that I would need to purchase 3 items if I wanted to use both coupons.  HELP!?!?

      • Lindsayhunton

I was wondering the same thing. Will Publix allow it?

        • Guest

Depends on your store/cashier.  They should do it.

      • Guest

The cashier was wrong, but they are the gatekeepers, so if they stick to their guns, there is not much you can do.  A B1G1 is supposed to attach to the one that you are getting for free, leaving the one that you are buying available for a cents off coupon.

Technically, no you can’t. To use a BOGO coupon, you are required to purchase 2 items. That applies the coupon to both items, and of course you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item. CVS is the only place (that I know of) that will allow you to use a dollars-off coupon on the “buy one” of a BOGO coupon.

    • Lindsey

This is also on sale at Publix right now for 2.00!

Does anyone else’s Kroger allow a printable BOGO coupon?  My Kroger says no printable coupons that include the word free.  I got three of these today, tried to use three coupons but they would only take two since they were ip.  He offered to take the other box out but I wasn’t sure what that would do to my mega event.

Did anyone get the BOGO coupon – mine says it is out – been trying since about 45 min after Jenny’s post – guess everyone wanted to try it  :)

    • kroger in jackson tn would not accept the bogo and the $1 off saying the computer wouldnt accept it and they reufused to manually enter it. i bought 4 total, two paying for which i wanted to use the $1 off on and 2 that would be free. i spoke with the manager and he wouldnt budge either. however, the coupon automatically took off 2.99 for each of the two free ones thus i got all four for only .49 anyway :) but if someone runs across a store willing to take all 4 coupons you could potentially get them all for free! and sometimes my krogers give cash back even tho they arent supposed to.. so really even a potential money maker! good luck all :)

Hey Chelsea! I grew up in Bells down the road from Jackson!! Now in Houston area! :)

    • Patricia

most grocery stores won’t accept a BOGO coupon with a $1 off coupon. the store i work at will not because the BOGO coupon is technically for 2 items and our computer won’t accept any other coupon for it afterwards. You would have to buy 3 items in order to use both coupons.

    • Holly Brannigan

I tried to print the coupon and it says coupon program ended.

    • ya thats what he said. he said their system used to let them do it but that it doesnt anymore, cause i knew id done it at that kroger before with no problem thats why i thought i could..he said it had something to do with a family code on the coupons. o well it still works out to be a great deal without the $1 off coupons and you could potentially buy 6 and pay .49 for the first 4 and then .99 for the other two bringing it to $4 for 6 of them. not a bad deal :)
