Why do I have to “install” a printer for these coupons??? I dont want to install any more software on my computer – thats #1. #2, I do not trust any software that might want to be spying on me. If I have to install software to print coupons (when my computer is already capable of printing anything I want it to) then my first guess is that its TRACKING ME. So boo to that. This is very sad.

The install IS so they can track how many coupons you print via cookies to make sure you don’t print 1 billion of them. Personally, there’s nothing I do that is so interesting that I care if they track.

I am not doing anything too interesting either but that is not the point. Where does it stop? As far as printing a billion coupons, I realize what you mean and the stores all have coupon count policies in place so that reason. There is an easier way to track usage and a less intrusive way. I am a 30+ year software developer and I am intimate with the information these places want to capture from us. Trust me, its not worth the few dollars saved to give up my personal information. When I get a newspaper on Sunday, no one tracks my coupon usage. There is no one stopping me from going to Walmart and buying 100 Sunday papers (which I have seen people do) and using those hundred coupons, except store policy – and now we are back to my point. Its sad that I cant just print them so I will continue to purchase as many Sunday papers as I see that I need. Have a good day. :-)
