Question…when Jenny lists printable coupon, she posts the link for IE and FF. I use IE, but was wondering if I download FF, if I am able to print the max from IE and then print the max for FF, which would essentially allow me to print double the coupons??

      • Jenny

It would be great if that worked but the limit is one per computer no matter what browser.

    • So many good coupons…if ONLY I could actually print a Smart Source coupon! Does anyone else have this problem with SS printing?

      • Tilffany

I use IE and I had a problem printing SS coupons. When I went to the site it wanted me to run something or add an add on, but it never would work. The link and prompt would just disappear and then I never saw it again. Then I discovered the add-on on my browser that wasn’t activated that aparently the site needed in order to work. I went to Tools, Manage Add-Ons, and when the list of add-ons popped up I activated (turned on) the right one. It won’t have an obvious name like SS. It was a trial and error thing. Don’t worry. This won’t mess your computer up at all. Add-ons are just things that help sites work more efficiently, like Active-X. After I found the right one I went back to the SS site, and it prompted me to downloaded an add-on (it was either an active-x thing or a coupon printer helper). Now I can finally print the SS coupons. I hope this helps you.

        • Just wondering … can’t you photo copy coupons? I just make copies of the ones i want more of…

          • Jenny

You can not make copies of printable coupons. There are unique security numbers for each coupon that as soon as a duplicate goes through the redemption center it is caught and the store will never get any money back for that coupon.

            • amy

Molly, what I do is ask my mother or anyone else that has a printer to just print me up two from her computer and that way I have 4. Usually that is more than plenty and I have 4 children. You will be able to print again in another month. HTH

The Marie Calendar Yogurt Dressing is @Publix 2/$3. So with the coupon it makes it .50 a bottle.

    • kathi

I had a message pop up telling me I had a Starkist q added to my card. I assume they mean my Bilo card but could someone tell me how these work? Guessing they will take the value off automatically but I’m wondering if that gets doubled since my Bilo doubles q’s?

      • kathi

Actually this question applies to coupons.com

    • Stephanie

I can’t find the Idahoan coupon. Any suggestions?

      • zipcode 37130 worked for the Idahoan coupon
Do you have a zipcode to work for th Fisher and Alexia Snacks?

        • Jenny

          Try 30003 or 90210

          • Stephanie

I tried all those zip codes and no Idahoan coupon for me. Am I just going crazy?

            • anna

              try 29483

I don’t normally print alot of printables until I see that I need them. Which sometimes doesn’t work well because they end up all gone (very rare).
What I’m wondering is if you end up using most or all of the printables or do you end up wasting paper, time, ink and the coupon because it expires before it goes on sale?
I’m wonder this because it seems that I’m printing things that doesn’t go on sale for my price and end up throwing the q’s away.
Can anyone help me out with ways they keep from doing this?

      • CouponNERD

I print any printables for items that I would normally buy, then hope that they go on sale before the coupon expires. I do end up tossing some expired coupons.
Also, I “reuse” my paper to print as many coupons as possible on one sheet. If a coupon prints one to a page, I put the paper back into my printer to print the next one on the other end.

      • kathi

I print all of them that I think we might use (ie stuff we like that might go on sale) If I don’t use them before they expire they get clipped to send to a military base overseas.

    • Crystal T.

When I try to print the coupons I need (and print each month) I am told that I have reached my limit. Is there something I need to do in order to have the coupons reset?

      • linda

I would like to know the answer to this also.

    • Dana

Does anyone know if libraries will let you print these. I don’t have a printer and can’t fork over the money to get one at the moment. And pretty much everyone I know is in the same boat. It’s very frustrating cause I get emailed great coupon that I have NO WAY OF PRINTING!!

      • kathi

I’d check w/ the individual library (I have seen some not allow any printing, others allow a certain number of pages, other charge a few cents per page

    • Jenni

The $1 Mayfield Over the Moon milk coup can be doubled through Decemeber 1st, Tuesday at all SC upstate Bloom stores (Greer, Greenville, Simpsonville, etc). This makes a half gallon only 50 cents! It taste about the equivalent of 1%-2% milk, even though it’s non-fat.

    • Amy

I hope someone can help me. Jenny- if you read this, I emailed you with this question a few weeks ago and haven’t heard back. (Not complaining. I know you are busy, and you are helping me save TONS of money, even if you can’t help me on this :-)
I can’t print any of the smartsource coupons. This is what has happened (I think) When I first tried to print from the site, I had an EPSON printer. I already had the Java app, and I added the plug in just like the site directed. However, the Epson printer hadn’t been used in a while, and I discovered that it is a lost cause. SO, I added back by current printer (an HP) and set it as default. I’ve never been able to print from smartsource. I get the “warning” saying I need to be sure my printer is turned on and has paper loaded. I think what is happening is that the smartsource thingee is sending the Qs to the OLD Epson printer, that is no longer installed. I have tried EVERYTHING I know to do. I have e-mailed SS, only to get automated replies that don’t help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my HP printer. I have even uninstalled and re-installed the Java application, but nothing works.

I am so sad, because LOTS of Qs (not just the ones on SS.com) are “powered by SS” so I’m missing out on ALOT here. Anybody have any suggestions???

      • Jenny

Try reloading your print driver for the printer you are wanting to use. Go to the manufacturer website and see if they have a more update driver for the printer too. That has helped some.

        • Amy

          Thanks, Jenny. I’ll try that!

      • stacey

I also had this problem, and I finally got mine fixed (yeah) I emailed SmartSource and they told me to change my printer setting to spool to printer instead of print directly to printer, IT WORKED
I am so excited! Try this hope it helps

        • Amy

Thanks, Stacey. I tried that, It didn’t work. :-(
Jenny- if you are reading this, do you have a contact # or additional e-mail address for SmartSource? I have done everything I know to do on my end. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the print driver AND the printer itself. I made the changes that Stacey had suggested. I just KNOW that if I knew how to uninstall the SS coupon printer/applet and reinstall THAT… it would have to work. Whatever system they use on their end is still recognizing that old printer. :-(
