THINaddictives

In March I decided to set a big goal of losing 33 lbs before my next birthday.  I started strong, fell off the wagon, and since have started back.  So far I’m down 6.5 lbs since my March start.  Honestly the biggest problem for me is bread and sweets.  If I am too restrictive and don’t let myself have any treats then about a week later I rebel and want to eat everything sweet in the entire house (not very helpful).

For the last two weeks I’ve been doing awesome, and part of that has been trying to leave room each day in calorie counting for a treat.  Even if it’s one Reese’s mini cup at 44 calories, I feel less deprived with a treat.

Last week a new treat came in the mail… Nonni’s THINaddictives sent a box of each of their flavors for me to try.  They are tasty sweet treats made with wholesome, antioxidant-rich ingredients like crunchy California almonds, savory pistachios, cranberries and cinnamon swirls.  I don’t have to worry about eating the entire box, because they’re pre-portioned into six 100-calorie packs per box.  They’re great if you’re on-the-go, heading on a road trip, or even just looking for a snack in the middle of the day.

THINaddictives is trying to get everyone in a healthy groove with a “Get Addicted to Fitness” program with monthly giveaways.  To stay up-to-date on their giveaways, make sure you follow them on FacebookTwitterPinterestInstagram for you chances to win THINaddictives, a Fitbit pedometer and other prizes to help you stay fit.  For more tips about fun, accessible forms of fitness from exercise experts, visit the THINaddictives YouTube channel for insider tips from experts.

I’ve recently started training for a 5K to run with my 8 year old twins.  It’s been tough for this computer potato to get moving, but so far we’ve completed every run and already the clothes are fitting better!  I know in the end I won’t win a race, but it’s gonna be pretty awesome for this girl who always said “I’m not a runner” to finish a race!   After a long workout I don’t want to waste the work with unhealthy treats, its nice that THINaddictives are healthy and guilt free after you eat it.
