There are more Office Max Freebies again this week!  This time it’s free pens, pencils and markers.

Order as many or few as you like, pay up front and then get it all back in rewards later.  Max Perks rewards can only be used at Office Max. You will need to sign up for a Max Perks account (choose Teacher or Business – everyone has their own business of some sort so you are good).

You are able to roll your Max Perks rewards.  They do take a little while to come in, but you can use them on future free Max Perks deals and then get more back…  fun times!

These deals are only available online but you can get up to 6 of each item for FREE.  Remember orders over $50 get free shipping as well.

One other not free but a good price deal…if you need a graphing calculator:
TI-83 Calculator
$79.99, it also comes with a free case.

Go through Ebates first and get 3% cashback.

So this rolling of Max Perks is kind of like the CVS ECB's? You have to make an initial investment but you get it all back eventually and you use it to buy other Max Perks offers?

Yep, it just takes longer to get back. I had over $50 in maxperks bucks I got to use on school supplies from the summertime. The one thing they differ in is that you can spend as few or as many as you want – unlike ECB's where you have to spend the total at once.

Oh me, I've been spending mine all at one time. Didn't know. Also does your tax come out of the max perks??

My local OM also had lots of free after Max Perks stuff in the store this week. OM ads vary greatly by region, but we had cases of paper; 12-pks of black Sharpies; Post-it notes/dispensers; and 1-, 3-, or 5- subject notebooks. All had a limit of 3. I didn't use any of my Perks to pay for them, however, because the store personnel told me in the past that if I used them to pay for things, I would not get the Max Perks on the new stuff I was buying. I know that isn't the case online, though. I've been able to roll them as long as I spend at least a little out of pocket as well. Keep in mind also that online you can only use one (1) Reward card to pay for your order. I've used more than one at a time in the store.

My OM wouldnt except my coupons for the Bic pens. He said he didnt want to give them away. I told him I would take my coupons elsewhere. He tried to blame it on Bic!
