      I never got my rebate in the mail from the one I bought last time. I am a little disappointed in that.

        Max Rewards come via email or can be located by checking your account online and can be used for future purchases.  This is not a rebate program.

      Does anyone know when the Q4 rewards will post?  I noticed my Q3 rewwards expire on 10/31/2012, so I’m assuming they will post by the end of January, but it would be nice if they would post a little sooner.

      Really unhappy with Office Max over this offer.  I ordered and paid for it when it was offered in mid-December.  Immediately got an Email that it would be “delivered from a different warehouse,” whatever that was supposed to mean.  Wondered, today, why I hadn’t received it.  Called the customer service number given in the “different warehouse” Email.  Was treated to an automated system whose original set of options had customer service as #2, location and hours as #3, etc.  Upon pressing 2, got another set of options with location and hours as #1, the things that were 4 and 5 under the original set as 2 and 3, other things, and not until option 0 [=10] arose the chance to get a human.  That human could not explain why I didn’t have it.  Had to press, leading to “oh this is backordered to 1/20.”  “Why was I not informed about this” got the verbal equivalent of the blank stare.  Pressing for a supervisor brought back the response that this is free so that’s all you’ll be getting.  Patent disinterest; that response indictes they don’t know, or think I don’t know that they do profit off the interest from holding my money for the 8+ weeks minimum between my purchase and their crediting to Max Perks, in addition to permanently holding money from those who just give up in frustration.  I canceled the order and will be blocking the charge off my AmEx.  It was not just this order; I joined Max Perks in early November, and had problems from the outset.  Only got solutions from the local store manager, after detailing the problems at great length.  I think this will be my last purchase from OM; no gripe against the local store at all, but this customer service was just awful and there are other choices.
