Good deal but just one question..
The money back: is it a rebate check or is it rewards that can be applied only towards future purchases as I think?

      Thanks Jenny.

      • It can only be applied to future purchases. Though some have said they applied them to future max perks deals…

I've only been doing Office Max for a few months and this is my experience. You can use max perks to buy items offering more max perks and get the perks back on those items as long as you spend some acutual money as well. I had $60 in max perks last month and the CS told me that as long as I go over the $60 in perks I had I would get the perks on the items I was buying, so I ordered $60.56 worth and I did get $60.56 worth of perks back. She said if I was only paying with perks, that I would not receive perks back, that I needed to spend some actual money. Hope this helps!

            Thanks for such WONDERFUL clarification!

      • Suemh

I have a bunch of MaxPerks that are about to expire. When I spoke to CS, I was told that I could use them to get the deals but I will not be awarded the MaxPerks on those deals. In other words, they can not be “rolled”.

I haven't signed up for a Max reward card yet. I was just trying to find out about it and it said that it is for business owners and teachers. Can anyone get one?

      • You can choose the Business one and any one can get it. You do not have to have any special business info and really most everyone does some sort business stuff at home.

    • do we know when this quarter ends and when we will get this back?

    • A Little Bit of Everything

I was just looking at their site. I guess you got free shipping also since your order was over $50?

    • Christine

Hey! I gave you an award on my blog! It is my very first one so I am happy to pass it on! http://ourhomeschoolreviews.blogspot.com/

    • Bamabobbie

Do you know if I can use MY REWARDS to pay for this and still get more MY REWARDS? Thanks

    • How do you know if you have current rewards and when they expire? I've purchased stuff before but i'm not sure how to get my max perk dollars back.

      • Bamabobbie

They emailed me telling me of my rewards and I have until the end of July to use them. Log into your account and it should tell you. I was just wondering if I use them on this then I get more rewards??? Hopefully

    • Alesha Aulds

so…when you say that you get 51.89 in Max Perks Rewards, do you get 51.89 back to spend toward future purchases, or does the 51.89 go toward the $500 total, after which you get $25 towards a future purchase…I'll a little confused…

      • Bamabobbie

I made a purchase a while back and now just got my rewards a wk or so ago that I can use until the end of July on other purchases. Hope this helps. I guess I can use them on the my rewards stuff and get more rewards??

      • You get the $51.89 back in rewards to spend and it goes towards the amount needed to get the bonus reward back.

        • Alesha Aulds

          awesome…i can't believe I've been missing out on this…thanks a bunch!

      • Denalowenberg

        ME too!

    • Denalowenberg

Where does it say when the “quarter”ends and we get the the Max Perk Rewards. How does it come? check I would guess but ?? Just opened an account.

      • Denalowenberg

Found the answer to my own question:
When do I receive any rewards that I have earned?
At the end of each month, we review all accounts and electronically issue any rewards you may have earned into your secure, online account. This reward will be issued by the 20th of the following month.
So you never get a check you just get more credit for purchases at Office Max?

        • Suemh

Yes, it is a store credit.

    • Sierra18

I am a 3rd year college student so I will be needing a lot of supplies soon so I want to make sure I have this straight.

I can only buy the products that say “get $10 back of Max Perk rewards” or something on those lines right? I was looking into getting some binders, filler paper, pens, and envelopes.

Is the B2G1 free part of the max rewards or not?

      • Suemh

You can get the 4 items that Jenny has listed for full MaxPerks back. The $10 is extra on top of the per item MaxPerks.

        • Sierra18

I tried to sign up for the Max Perks but it says to give the business name, address, and phone number. It is the same for the teacher side too. Does that mean I can't get the Max Perk Rewards?

          • Suemh

They do not verify any info. I signed up as a teacher because I have a child in school and I volunteer with the band Do you tutor anyone or work anywhere? Tutor is a teacher and work is a business. Also, if you belong to any sort of organization, that would qualify as a business. I belong to a civic organization. Many years ago I was in the store making a large purchase for a printed project that we were doing. At that time, I was encouraged to sign up as a business. I did that, but it had been so long and I like the teacher's rewards better.

Is anyone having a problem getting the correct price on the 2 pocket folders after entering your Maxperks ##? Mine is still showing $9.49, which means no discount. I called customer service 3 times. They said to try it tomorrow, possible online ordering glitch.

      • Reagan

I am also having a problem with the manilla folders showing $9.49.

    • Johnjennemily

I just got off the phone with Office Max and I thought I would pass this info along. I did the free deals back in January and never received my rewards. They can't find any record of offering the deals and will not credit my account. They suggested I make a copy of the deal to my flash drive next time so I could prove they actually offered the deal. No one else seems to be having a problem but I know I orderd the right products so make sure you check your rewards statements.
