Does anyone know if OfficeMax lets teachers purchase more than 2 of the penny items? thx!

      • Jennifer

I think they allow you to double the limit. So if the limit is 2 you can get 4 with a valid teacher id.

        • sassafras

Yep. I went last week and they let me double the limit.

      • Pjteaches

yes, and tomorrow is teacher appreciation day

      • Jenasu1

They let you double the limit but also something else.. if they are having a deal .20 for filler paper and the limit is 6 and they have college rule and wide rule, teachers could buy 12 college rule and 12 wide rule at .20 each because they have different barcodes.  The same for the deal on pens.  The Just Basics Brand has 3 different colors, blue, red, and black.  The limit this week is 5 packs at .20 each.  Teachers can buy 10 of each color.  I went today and got 24 packs of filler paper and twenty packs of pens (they were out of one color) for under six bucks. Not bad!

      • Rachel

Went today and they will let you purchase double the amount.

    • Kcreviews

I got the filler paper for 20 cents w/ q this week–can I do it again next week?

    • Mds2883

What if I don't have a teacher's ID? I work in a private school, so the only proof I have is a paycheck stub…

      • Ash

I don't remember them asking me for ID, but just in case, I would take your stub. That should be enough. :)

      • Susanjfs

I was told at Staples a while ago that a ck. stub would work.

I bought my daughter her shoes for back to school at Payless and got a coupon on the bottom of my receipt for $10 off a $30 purchase at Office Max. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

      • Catherine Taylor

You get a $5/$25 Payless coupon when you make a purchase this week at Office Max!

    • CropQueen

My Office Max has an Expo/Sharpie in-store display with a Q for $5 off when you buy 3.  I bought the 4 count skinny and 4 count fat markers and paid $5.49 each for the first 2.  Combining the B2G2 with the coupon, I paid $5.98 for 4 packs of dry erase markers.

    • I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentBite.çom

    • Andrea

i didn't have any in-ad coupons… hoping they are in the ad in the store….

    • Susanjfs

I've already recycled my papers for today, including the ads. What am I thinking? I needed those q's for the items at Office Max. I've GOT to get back into doing this right. It's costing me $$$$. I just called and they did say they had q's there, but with a limit of 2 on most things, it's not enough. I do work for the school system, but I'm not a teacher. Not sure if they'll let me get more of the items.

      • Lalawhat

get the coupons of the internet they are not in the ad!!

        • Shellibass

How do you print the Office Max coupons off the internet.  I am having problems.

    • Emdaisy98

my Sunday paper had an office max ad, but no coupons. Can someone post a PDF for these coupons? thanks!

    • Uagirl89

I can't find the in-ad  coupons online or in the ad. Would someone please help me find them.  Thanks!!

    • Emdaisy98

I printed poor quality coupons from website (at end of online ad) and took to store. They had better copy to use at register.

Does anyone know what was given out to the teachers on teacher appreciation day?  I didn't make it and wanted to know if I should make it a point to go next year.

    • Emdaisy98

      First
Office Max stop: $25.98. I got 10 packs of filler paper, 6 packs of
cheap-o pens, 10 packs of unlined index cards, 5 2-packs of Kleenex, 6
      4-packs of glue sticks, 4 1-inch binders, 4 12-packs Bic pens, 4 wooden
      rulers, 4 10-packs of wooden pencils, 4 4-packs EXPO markers, and 4 24
      packs of crayons

    • Emdaisy98

The teacher appreciation “gift” varied by store – some stores were more generous than others. It was a reusable bag, some coupons, and some samples of products like pens, post its, paper clips, etc. And there was a year long planner with nice coupons for each month.

      • Skd29445

Thank you for posting this. :)
