I really want to start shopping Office Max but I don’t understand it and looked up Jenny’s post on understanding it and it is from March.  I am wondering if anything has changed and also in the comments for it there are several people debating several things and I don’t know which are right.  Can someone explain how this works? if I buy the paper today online and 2 of the writing supplies (which gets me over $50) I pay for it OOP and then get credit how? is it in an online account for me that I can then use to pay for other things that give rewards?  Is there a waiting period to use the reward? Could I use them tomorrow?  And how soon do they expire?  Anything major I should know? Such as the ridiculous rules at Walgreens lol? thank you for any advice as I really don’t get it at Office Max.  I have mastered the drug stores and am on the office stores..

You pay up front and then get a gift certificate back to use for your next purchases.  The gift certificate posts on the 20th of the following month and you have 3 months to use it.  As long as you order to get over the $50, you get free shipping.  You do not get rewards back on sales tax, only on the product itself.  It does post online to your maxperks.com account and then from there you can either view or print the certificate out to use it in the store or online.  Also, they do ink recycling and if you turn in your used ink containers they will give you $2/each on and it will credit to your maxperks account as well.  Hope this helps!  I love OfficeMax!  I try to not let so many rewards buildup if I can, just because they may/may not have something I want to roll them over to for the next time.  You can keep rolling them though.

thank you so much Deanna!  But I can use reward to buy another one with reward right?  exciting!!  And if I have 50 of rewards in my account and want to buy something that is $20, can I just use $20 of my rewards or do I have to lose the other $30? thank you again!
