Help me to understand, I do some couponing at our local Dollar General stores but some of them are not coupon friendly. I had a experience this weekend with cashier, the Dollar General had a coupon displayed for a $1.00 off when you purchase the new Oxiclean detergent and they had it on sale and I had the $5.00 dollar off that Dollar General offers when you buy $25.00. So I got 2 Oxicleans and other items that came up to $25.00. The cashier said I could only use one $1.00 off coupon for one of the Oxicleans she said because the coupon said one per purchase and I had two detergents. So my question is was she right?

I don’t think so. 1 per purchase means $1 off per item purchased. As long as the coupon did not say 1 per person/customer, you could have used the other coupon.
