A new one opened near us this fall and we used them for Christmas photos.  I was so impressed with the setup they had and that you receive your pictures (high quality) the same day.  The best part was there pricing structure.  I was tired of the high prices at Walmart, Sears and Penney’s and this was such a nice affordable alternative.  I am definitely taking advantage of this deal for Easter photos.

No sitting fees or hidden charges, but they make it very hard to get all the way
down to the package only.  We went this Christmas for the 9.95 package and I
still had to go through all the different packages starting at around 200 bucks
even though I kept telling him I just wanted to special.  Be prepared to
disappoint your salesperson… Still once I got through it, I sure did get a LOT
of pics (one pose) for 10 bucks!

This is an awesome deal! It’s just VERY difficult to choose 1 of the many, many poses they will take. You have to stick to your guns and tell them you only one the $9.95 package. I haven’t been able to the 2 times I’ve taken my son.

We got photos done at Christmas at Port. Inv. and they turned out fantastic. I spent $100 because I have no self control since my child refuses to smile and this was the first good photo experience since she was an infant. They had one photographer and a second person to make the kids smile. They were awesome. They do start off with some crazy sales pitch (it was $400 for me) but I just said, “look. this is my price range. Show me what you got and she was fine with it. They had this same deal at Christmas time so maybe it’s a seasonal offer. I highly recommend them.

Go in with your will of steel, otherwise you will spend a fortune!  I find that this company is so pushy that it makes an otherwise great deal very unpleasant.  I actually had one photographer say to me that my daughter’s pictures obviously weren’t very important to me, since I wasn’t willing to buy several poses of her.  That really angered me!  Don’t advertise an awesome special and then be mad that people come in to take advantage of it!

I think it all depends on the photographer you get.  Personally I always ask for a woman because I have 4 kids and men just don’t seem to have the patience.

I agree.  This is my favorite place for a big portrait session, but we went around the holidays once wanting just a family portrait, they proceeded to take us through all the poses and backgrounds taking shots of just my daughter, meanwhile she was miserable and eventually started to cry.  So when I told them we were done, we just wanted a family portrait, she said, “Well that’s not what we do, we are not a one pose studio”.  Then she sat there in the most serious way ever trying to sell me these portraits of my daughter where she is totally pouting and crying.  “Which do you like better, photo #1 or photo #2?” “Neither!! She’s crying!!”

Just keep in mind that they schedule only two weeks in advance. If you want your pictures done later you will have to wait until 2 weeks prior then call for your appt.

I have 6 children and I think we’ve had our pictures taken everywhere, but this place is the BEST!  We’ve visited locations in Ohio and South Carolina, and been thoroughly impressed every time.  The quality, the options, the professionalism and the value are better than anywhere else I’ve seen.   I hope all the Southern Savers give them a try!

Do you need a coupon to get this deal?

Duh. They work off commission. They get paid a percentage of what they sell, if they can’t upsale they get fired. It’s not like sellin a car, ur adorable kids pics practically sell themselves…but still.
I recently went to my first one in Ohio (and iv taken my child to OLAN MILLS, PENNY’S& SEARS numerous times) and Portrait Innovations was THEE best by far. Before this I had yet to get pics that had no flaws(a dark cord being seen behind a white backdrop, poor quality clearity, odd marks that were clearly not in the real life shot somehow produced during printing, etc!) But these were great and I LOVED the mug frm the Xmas special! I’ve told everyone to go there :) I got a calendar(12-8×10’s)$20
