        explain this please?

    • Angie8220

When I first started couponing I didn't understand why people said Publix is the best but now I understand. Not only is it a great store but I never have any problems with my coupons, the cashier thinks its cool and sometimes ask if I have extra coupons and if I do I give them to the cashiers. The other day I took my hubby on a coupon run to show him why I am so excite about coupons and I made him a believer thanks to your site.

P.S. recyclebank has $3 of $50 purchase for Atlanta area and it is very easy to get to $50 in Publix before coupons. The key is to use this coupon first.

      • Luissanelly

i'M Making my first trip to Publix WITH coupons tonight after I get off of work. Do they take online coupons? like the ones printed off on the internet? And what is the recyclebank?? And do they often have a BOGO??

        • Lana

They do take internet printables. You can go to Recyclebank dot com to sign up and do things to earn points which you can redeem for rewards. Publix always has BOGOs.

I wanted to get the Recyclebank $3/$50 but the map they have on their site doesn’t look like it includes Acworth. Are you in this area or close?

        • Angie8220

I am in Atlanta close to the airport I am not how far that is from you.

    • bichelle

Quick question. I received from coupons in the mail and they say Manufacturers coupon but don't have a bar code but the LU # and redeem only @ Publix on it.
Am I able to stack these with a true manufacturers coupon or no?

      • Karen

I asked the store manager and said a mfr coupon, even with a look up number, is a mfr coupon, and Can't be stacked. I heard people saying that they have been able to, but in reality they are not supposed to. I have not used any of them because the ones I want are for big sizes and I barely buy familiy sizes.
        HTH

        • bichelle

          Thank you!!

      • Ranchdreshin

You can stack anything with a LU# with a true manf q. MY question is for the coupons that are TRUE MQs but say “redeem only at publix” with no LU#, but a bar code. Can we stack THOSE with a store Q or with a manf Q?

        • bichelle

          Thank you!

        • Meghan

Yes – you should be able to. I have never had a problem. :)

        • If it is a MQ with a barcode that begins with a 5 or a 9, but says Redeem ONLY at Publix, it is STILL a MQ. Thus it can be stacked with a store Q.

    • Stacielovescoupons

Is publix still allowing profits??? I had heard they would be stopping this soon.

      • Specialfx

My publics 29483 has stoped allowing profits…..

    • Superjen

I wouldn't be surprised, they are the only ones around who still allow it in my area.

    • Awindsor

Does anyone know how I can resolve a problem I'm having with smartsource printables? I have a Mac, but usually Safari will work for printing. Lately though, every smartsource comes up with “Abnormal print requested – using back button may have caused this” or “concurrent print”. I'm not using my back button, it is giving me these error messages on the first attempt to print!

      • JoshuaGriffing

        Download a different browser.

      • Amy B.

        Firefox solves this for me.

      • ireneY

Safari works for me on OS 10.5.8.

    • Amybrown1778

Will the Purina One beyOnd coupons work on the Purina One Cat Food? I see them listed but the coupon says it's for the beyond.

    • Nicole

Just saw that on the Solo Facebook page, they posted a comment on April 14 that they had given away all the coupons….any luck find one somewhere else?!?

    • Peggy

Does anyone have a zip code for the B2G1 Voskos yogurt coupon?

      • Luissanelly

Why do you need a zip code for the voskos yogurt?

        • bj

different zip codes have different coupons. once you click on the printable tab, the site will as for a zip code.

      • llt30683

        Try 90210

        • Peggy

          thanks, that worked!

      • PigBetsypen

I saved voskos yogurt coupons from a month ago that expire expire April 30 and am so glad it is going on sale as I want some more and did not want to pay $1.50 for it. Also the new oreos coupons were in last weeks paper. Now I want homestyle mac and cheese bogo so I can uase the coupons.

      • Bulldogsnoble5

there’s also Q’s in the Greenwise spring mags too

    • Amybrown1778

There are also $3/2 John Frieda Target Printables!

      • Superkc65

yes!! found those too! Its a great product too!

    • Tamara

      Jenny,
I think there's a problem with the Kellogg's Cereal price.
      “Kellogg’s Cereal, 16.3-24 oz, at $4.39 ($2.99)”

    • Amybrown1778

Can you stack a Publix store coupon, a Manuf. Coupon and a competitor coupon (Target)?

      • Heather

I can at my store but it's up to each individual store to decide. Ask at your customer service desk!! :)

        • Amybrown1778

Thank You! I think I have done it at my store too with no problems, but I want to make sure I am doing the right thing :-)

          • Leaz

At my store they consider a competitor cpn a store cpn so you can have one mfr and one store/competitor together but not all three.

        • Laura

I asked at cust service yesterday and the woman said “I personally don’t think we should ever take target coupons, but some of our cashiers will and some won’t, so ask your cashier, we leave it up to them.”

          I couldn’t believe that reply!

      • Gillyp3864

I can too at our Acworth, GA location-they even take Whole Foods!

        • Debra Radaker

which store is this? the one at Brookstone doesn't… or they didn't last time I asked:)

          • Gillyp3864

The one on Baker & 75 intersection, off Hwy 92. The one with the CVS next door.

      • Superkc65

my store will only let you use two per item, 1 manufacturer and 1 competitor.
Or one manufac. and one publix. hope that helps but ask your store.

    • JeopardySmart

Your deal info for Canada Dry is a little fuzzy. If it is $3 and buy 3 get one free, how to you get it at $.75 each ?

      • Tcweir1

        .75 x 4 =3.00

      • tml0701

haha I was thinking h same thing if each is $3… buying 3 at $3 is $9 then 4th is free I don't get it either

    • Southerngirl8497

Is there a limit to the number of Green Advantage Flyer coupons you can use at one time?

      • Lana

Ask at your store, one of mine will and one won't. Guess where I shop!

    • You can find the Solo coupons at a clipping service. There were some in inserts.

    • Southerngirl8497

Is there a zip code for the Sundown Vitamins?

    • Vbball104

Why is there one price listed after a product, and then another price listed after it in parenthesees? New to this.

      • Amybrown1778

Because its a Buy One Get One free, so she's showing you how much each will cost.

        • Vbball104

          thank you too!

      • Elizabeth M.

The price in the parentheses is what you are really paying for one of the BOGO items. Every state but Florida the items ring up 1/2 price…in FL it's a true BOGO…you pay for one item, not the other.

        • Vbball104

          thanks so much!

    • Momofjandk

Was not sure where to post this but will coupons work if the bar code has a hole punch in it? I am wanting to try a new filing system (hole punch the entire insert).

      Thanks and Happy Easter!

      • guest

I'm not sure. I thought about hole punching my inserts and decided against it because I thought it would make it harder to clip the ones I wanted. I have mine in 3 ring binder stuck in the file pockets they make for binders. I “test drove” w/ kids' left over file pockets from school stuff. Did wind up needing to buy more pockets because I LOVE this system!

      • jenn

I think the cashier can try to punch in the numbers….if they are still there!

    • Bamagurlie018

Is there anyone from birmingham al that knows a Publix that will take more than one Publix store green advantge coupon per checkout? My calera store only allows one store coupon per person for the advantge deals. An example of this was the degree body wash that was recently on sale, she only allowed me one green advantage coupon per transaction…

      • acinal

I have used two before…not sure if it was the Green Adv. or the yellow one… but I shop at Calera too. I think a lot depends on the cashier.

        • Bamagurlie018

Thanks for the input.. yea cashiers have A LOT to do with it. So my suggestion to myself and everyone else out there, avoid Sunday night shopping.. LOL She is always there on Sunday nights and there is only one register open. Go figure!

          • Connell_44

Calera has gotten really bad about only excepting 1 store across the board. Alabaster and Pelham wil let you use more than 1 happily. Happy Savings!

      • meme

For a while my Publix was only allowing one of their store coupons with as many mft. coupons as you had items. Now they are letting us scan the one coupon for the number of items along with a mft. coupon for each item. That way we aren't wasting coupon booklets and still get the deals. For example, I got two cake mixes and four frostings today. They scanned my one publix store coupon six times and I had mft. coupons to apply for all six mixes and frostings. Maybe a suggestion to the store manager would help. After all, if someone chose to they could come back in the store several times in one day and do the same deal since there isn't a card to track the transactions.

        • It used to be that way at my Publix too. But I was recently told they weren't allowed to do it that way anymore due to a meeting they had from Corp. They said, and it makes perfect sense to me, that the company puts out X amount of flyers expecting to not go over that number on the amount of deals redeemed. But all stores are different…so I've heard : )

      • Tammya6688

The Pinson or Deerfoot Parkway store doesn't give any problems with Publix coupons, but do limit the competitor ones per transaction.

      • 2sweetgrits

I have used two green advantage coupons for two of the same items AND used other GAC for other items as well at the Hoover store on HWY 31! They LOVE Couponers!

    • jenni min

I do not see any solo q on the facebook. It does not show there. Anyone else had this issue?

      • Nicole

They have a post on their page from April 14 that they are all gone.

    • kristenk

Need an opinion… when a q says “limit 1 coupon per purchase of indicated product” can I still “legally” use 2 coupons if I buy 2 products? thanks!

      • CouponClippinCutie

Yes! as long as you have 1 coupon per each item purchased, that is okay.

      • germangirl

        yes you can.

    • Autumnly

Help! The old ad ends on Saturday, and this one starts on Monday. Because of my schedule, I have to do my shopping on Sunday this week. Surely this doesn't mean that they won't have any sales on Sunday?

      • Dianna

They aren't open on Sunday because of Easter, that is why the current ad ends tomorrow and the new one starts on Monday.

      • Jennifer

Publix will be closed on Sunday!

      • Jessica Scibetta

Publix is closed on Sunday for Easter

      • Kelley

They are closed on this Sunday. Sorry

      • R Edgerton1

        Publix is closed on Sunday

      • Caity

Publix is closed on Easter… says it on the front page of their website. Sorry :(

      • jennifer

it is Easter maybe they are closed

      • Redamyer1

        closed on sundayb for EASTER!

    • Davahodges

Does anyone ever find Scotch lint rollers on sale anywhere. I use them often and I have several coupons, but they never seem to go on sale

      • Gillyp3864

Want to saveon these? Don't fool with em at all…buy yourself a cheap roll of masking tape & use rolled strips of that for lint. It works just as good.

      • Beckyhill216

I buy lint rollers at the “Dollar Store”. Work just as well, and much cheaper!

      • Lana

I have seen them BOGO at Bi-Lo but it has been a long time ago.

    • Jackie

The coupon data base says that Publix green advantage flyer has a coupon for Breathe Right strips. The current green advantage (good till 22 April) does not have it.
Will it be in the new one?

      • kim

I'm confused what are the green advantage coupons?

        • moneysaved4disney

look in the turnstyles in the front of your store for a yellow flier and a green flier…they are month long deals

          • meme

Or ask at the customer service desk.

      • Alison

It is in the one for april 23 – may 13

    • Jesse

I wish there were some way to flag the coupons with no prints left to let folks know to either look for it in their “already printed” pile or skip trying to go print it. Seems like that would be easy to add in the coupon database, so it would show up wherever the coupon was shown as a match. I've just tried to print a couple of coupons that were already out of prints, but I still had to go through multiple screens and clicks (and switching browsers, etc.) to get to that tidbit of knowledge. Now multiply me by 100s of other users and it is a shame that we are all wasting time this way.

I love this site and this small adjustment would make it that much better. Please consider adding this feature, Jenny. – Thanks.

      • Prsol

It would be helpful for us, but how would Jenny know which coupons are out of print without having to click on each of them herself?
Plus, let's say she checks “now” and X coupon shows available. If a hundred people decide to print the coupon in the next 30 minutes, Jenny's info would be outdated by then.
And also, what would happen if she already printed the limit permitted per computer on that particular coupon? She couldn't tell if the coupon is still available or not, as it would always show “you have reached your limit” …

I agree with you on the time that it takes to find out if you will get the coupon or not, but unless Jenny has a magic way of pulling the coupons (or private feeds from manufacturer's) I don't see how she could include that information in the database. Helpful for us, but maybe an impossible for her? … (I always wonder how she get's all this information and still manages to raise 3 children and find her socks at the beginning of the day! … )

Thanks Jenny for all your hard work, and for sharing it with us! :-)

        • Frisbeebear

I *think* Jesse may have meant a way for US to flag them for each other, not necessarily Jenny. I agree that that would be truly awesome, if it was somehow possible.

          Thank you Jenny! You rock!

    • Ileana

Help, I am having a mental block. How many Powerade would I get if I have…………

Buy 10 get 5 free coupons with Bogo sale?

BOGO Powerade Ion 4 Sports Drink or Powerade Zero, 32 oz, at $1.25 (62¢)

      • If they're BOGO, you would buy 10 and get them half off (If your store does half off) plus 5 extras with your coupon, per coupon.

Otherwise you would get 20 plus 5 extra, if I am right.

      • Angie8220

It depends do you want all 10 plus another 10 or 5 and get 5 free for a total of 10 plus another 5 from coupon. htms

    • Kezell498

Has anyone found the Bertolli target coupon?

      • Prsol

It was available a few weeks ago. Haven't checked again to see if it's still there. :-(
Perhaps they ran out already? :-(

      • Laura

I saw it today clicking the grocery category it was on the 1st or 2nd page.
If you have printed it in the past though it may not be available for you. Sometimes they let you have 2 prints, but sometimes just one. Either way they remove it from your view if you hit the limit.

      • Kezell498

Thanks for the responses. I looked under different zip codes and I guess it's no longer available. Laura I also noticed that Target won't always let you print a coupon twice. I wonder why that is?

      • Getifit2526

        Yes, I found it.

        • Kezell498

if you don’t mind sharing, what zip code did you use? I have tried everything I could think of to find

    • julie mars

Wow, several of the printable coupons I tried aren't available anymore “no more prints for this campaign”

    • Rebecca Daughtery

there is a coupon outside the door for $1 off these at my publix jose ole

    • genxeratl

The Phazyme coupon, if you print it from the GSK website, is actually for $2/1 and version.

    • Melanie

Thank you so much for sitting down and doing this, I know it must be so much work, but thanks to you I could do my Shopping list for next week already.

    • tml0701

haha I was thinking h same thing if each is $3… buying 3 at $3 is $9 then 4th is free I don't get it either

Target has a $1/2 for Nature Valley Granola Bars. But I can't seem to find the $.75/1 in my SS for 4/17. Was this regional. I'm in central Florida..

      • kristenk

I found a coupon book at my store today… can't remember the name of it off hand, but it has a mf coupon for $1/2 nature valley granola bars :)

      • Lovelola007

I am in the Panhandle (we got moved here by the air force , but I am originally from Melbourne :)

    • Publix has an app, It has store coupons on it also.. cool!!!

    • Starksbj

What are some good sites to order coupons from?

      • guest

I’ve ordered from http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com they came within 3 days of purchasing.

      • Jenn

I recently started using ebay. I bought an ebay gift card from Groupon to further reduce the price of the coupons. I like it because I don't have to buy a minimum amount of coupons.

      • Teresa

There are a few that I order from occasionally Kuntry Klippers, Couponsandforms and Couponclippers all .com's

    • Lovelola007

Just thought i'd share that there is a $2 coupon for the phazyme at the same link as the sominex coupon. That's even more profit!

      • guest

yep, and you better go get them today, b/c now that you've shared this, there won't be any left after today! :)

      • Laura

I haven't been to that site to print in probably 4 months but couldn't get any prints today because it's says I previously hit my limit. I can't believe they haven't reset their Q's after this long!

      • Cherylg85

Thanks, snagged 2 phayzymes for a $2 profit thanks to you!!

    • I have a question – wouldn't this be free if you stacked coupons

      Prevacid 24 hour, 14 ct, $10.59
Store Coupon -$5/2 Ex-lax, Benefiber, Maalox, Gas-X or Prevacid products (Publix Coupon) Green Adv. Flyer (starts 4/23)

Manufacturer Coupon -$3 off Prevacid 24hr product, Kroger home mailer
Manufacturer Coupon -$3 off Prevacid 24hr product, SS 4/17
Manufacturer Coupon -$3 off Prevacid 24HR products printable

You have it marked as $5.09

      wouldn't it be $5/2 Store
      Plus (2) $3 Off Manu
      Price Free?

      Or is this not stackable/

      thanks!

      • Never mind – I just realized this wasn't a B1G11… Guess that is what happens when I post/read at 1 in morning.

    • kristenk

For the charmin bathroom tissue, there is a target q in RP 4/10 for $2.50 off purchase of 6 pk or larger charmin and freshmates

    • kristenk

there's also a $1/1 shout laundry product in the baby club coupons

      • kristenk

… which is a store coupon… makes it free w/ the mf coupon!

    • Abruni6

What is the Green Adv, Flyer

      • Becky13

The advantage buys papers are generally in the front of the store with the weekly ads. It is a supplement to regular ad and has coupons in them.

    • Gabriela

does anybody know where the solo paper plate coupons are located in their facebook page?

    • Erin

I saw that Jenny listed the Suave deal with a coupon in the Green Advantage flyer. Picked up a new one this morning (April 23rd thru May 13th)….no Suave. Anyone else have this problem?

    • Brandy

I'm a complete newbie with a question about the Green Advantage deals. I picked up the Publix flyer this morning, and each coupon says “Limit One Deal per Coupon per Customer”. Does this mean I can get EACH of the Green Advantage Deals listed above (particularly the ones that are free + profit with store and manufacturer coupons) in one visit, but only one deal per coupon? Also, am I allowed to go back on a different day and purchase additional deals or is it one coupon per customer PERIOD? Thanks!

      • RunninMom

        Hi,
I'm new at this too. Yet, I asked this same question at my Publix service desk a few hours ago. They told me that I can use one per visit for that particular coupon Most of their other coupons don't have that stipulation, but I'm learning to look out for them. And since our Publix keeps their extra coupon flyers behind their CS desk also, i won't be able to get many but I've managed to collect them on each of my last two visits. My Greenville, SC Publix is a LONG way from home, but so WORTH the trip because of their great B1G1 deals. Ours will take competitor's coupons from other supermarkets ONLY, and NOT the Target, Walgreens and other Drug Stores. Big disappointment re: the Target coupons this week, because I had a handful of them. Still managed to save close to $200 with all their B1G1 deals, manufacturers and other printable coupons. A little learning curve, but this was a GREAT week! Best of luck to you!

    • Laura

The Nature Valley granola 50/1 listed above, I registered at the site but it only shows me one coupon, $1 off betty crocker cake + frosting.

    • Cvaughn520

I had to get a rain check at the CS desk today and I asked about the yellow & green flyers because there wasn't any with the ads. She said they weren't putting them out anymore because people were grabbing too many, They are going to keep them at service desk so you have to ask for them from now on. I am really starting to worry the people who are going to extremes are running it for everyone else!

      • CouponClippinCutie

My local Publix store is the same way. You have to wait around at the CS desk to pick up the flyers and coupon booklets. Kind of frustrating b/c I end up having to wait in line and I'm usually in a hurry to get in and out as quickly as possible.

        • MD

absolutely correct….I have seen people take up to 20 or 30 yellow/green co-op flyers at a time—then you have many people who are empty handed…by publix usually keeps a coupon booklet at CS so they can still honor the Publix Coupon if all flyers are gone—but I also think they are beginning to do the same thing, only put out a few and then customers have to go the the CS counter; might be a bit of a inconvience, but the ad hoggers ARE ruining it for everyone

          • Scrappyautie

Very true. I am against the stupid show “Extreme Couponing” for this very reason…there will be backlash to the genuine couponers who just want to save for their families…there are now lots of people who want to get it on the free stuff hoarding that those show participants are doing….totally NOT what it's all about.

            • emerson

i totally agree i went in last week and cs said there is a limit of one well im the kind of person who usually takes 2 of the green and 2 of the yellow so if it comes out this week and there on sale i can only get one now and have my husband stop and get another. I cant believe that people are so greedy to 20-30 but ive seen someone do it now if you do you are hoarding and thats not good……..

    • JeffVL

      Pepperidge Farm cookies
      site >

      We are sorry.

This offer is no longer available.

    • Amber

FYI, the tampon coupon in my SS says you must buy 2.

    • Amanda

I have a $.55/1 New York Texas Toast coupon from a blinkie at Publix. Do those count as store or manfct coupons? Can it be stacked with the $.40/1 New York frozen product?

      • guest

Manufacturer so you cannot stack with a store coupon. If your store doubles, you are better off using the .40 cents one

    • Tsouth3871

I live in Charleston, SC and shop at Publix. They told me today they no longer take Target coupons. Thought you might want to know. Terri

      • Dimples29848

i went to Publix in Augusta and they don't take Target coupons either.

        • Eli

Publix in St Petersburg FL won't take target coupons anymore either :(

      • CCShad

Thanks for the tip – which store is that? I am hoping not the 3 in Mt. Pleasant!!

        • Meredith

The one in Mt. Pleasant on Johnnie Dodds told me that on Saturday. Boo!

          • CCShad

I used some Target coupons at the Park West store today, so I guess I will stick with that store for now!

      • Karen

Bluffton SC is telling me the same too, they're no longer taking Target q's. But have a friend that has NOT been told that and has been able to continue using them there.???

    • Blessed in Jesus

To spare you time and ink, the Cabot cheese coupon is for cheese snacks, not the bar of cheese that is on sale.

      • Anonymous

Oh darn, I printed them and didn’t even notice, thought it just said “snack” product or something. Shoot!

    • Slaughterjm

I'm having trouble finding the perdue chicken breast coupon in my RP 4/10. Is it the RP that comes in the paper? I'm in TN would that make a difference…I feel like I've looked a thousand times!

      • Cayoung_8

coupon inserts vary by region. Just like here in Georgia, the Atlanta Journal and Constitution may have different coupons than the Athens Banner Herald. Usually on Wednesday Jenny will post a list of regional variances. You can try to find your city on that or if not its not there and you choose to leave your inserts whole, I recommend you take the time to type out your own list of what's in your inserts. Sometimes you end up with the coupons she lists and sometimes you don't. I didn't get the Pam coupons that would have made the Pam free last week. I was so sad, but that's how it is… next time I will get the awesome coupon (like the nivea which I did get YAY!)

      • Gloverdee9

I'm in TN too, and mine didn't have it either :-(

    • Cayoung_8

I know Publix doubles coupons up to a face value of 50 cents and those coupons would then be valued at 1.00. BUT what happens to 55 cent/75 cent (etc) coupons? Do those stay face value or do they “double” up to the 1.00 amount?

      • Tiff715

I know at BiLo the coupons that are over what they would double are just taken at face value meaning a .50 Q is valued at $1, but a .75q is valued at .75

      • Mmleininger

They stay the face value. At least they do at the three Publix in my area.

    • Tiff715

Im new to publix and have a question, on the Bic deal, will it make it free plus overage or will the computer just take off the amount of the coupon? Same thing with the playtex?

      • Piercejx

The Publix I shop at takes it off the total.

        • Tiff715

the total amount of the coupon? Or just the amount of the item?

          • Shortgalal

Most take off the total amount of the coupon.

            • genxeratl

I think what Tiff is asking is how do they apply the Q when it will create overage based on the price of the item. Most Publix deduct the Q from the order total not on a per-item basis (like Target and some other stores – Old Navy and Staples come to mind). At least in Atlanta – I have not shopped in a Florida Publix in 20 years! :-)

          • Larbars

Some cashiers don't like it, but they don't notice if you have some purchases before.

      • Tiff715

I think I need to re word it, will the computer make it free plus overage, or will the computer just take off the amount of the item?

    • Can anyone tell me how to get the coupons from the recyclebank website? I've given them my personal info and can't find any coupons. (I just hate it when I give them my info and don't get a coupon!)

      • Mmleininger

You have to earn points and then use the points to “buy” the coupons.

    • Kristina

For the Sargento Deli style slices – can you use the manu coupon (75 cents off) and the publix coupon from Family Style Magazine ($1 off). The Publix coupon is for one Natural Cheese Snack – are the Deli Style slices considered Natural Cheese Snacks – guess that is the real question?

    • Shelly_n_skye

Ok so need to know where to get all the coupon fliers that is talked about in the above advertising??? Can anyone please tell me??? Thx

      • Rainyday714

They are usually located in the front of your store or most at customer service.

    • frugalmama

The ex-lax, maalox, and gas-x coupons in the Green Advantage flyer at Publix can also be paired with the $2 off coupon, for the same, in the April Walgreens coupon booklet. I got $60.51 worth of items and only paid $5.61. Because of my coupons, they paid me to purchase most of my items!

    • PoofyBoutique

I know that sunchips are not on sale this week. I have been trying to hold out – but not sure if they will be on sale in time. I found a Target coupon for $1 off on their website, and I found two store coupons worth $1 each in some of their fliers by the door. One was filled with 'green' coupons and the other was their Publix Greenwise.

      • emerson

the best price ive found at publix on sunchips is when there 2 for 6 i used it two weeks ago so if you see them priced around 3.00 or less then thats when to go for it

        • Bryarsmom

Gee poofy-I got mine the same week emerson did. I used the Target Q's & man ones stacked to get several bags. Keep an eye out-maybe Target will have them on sale before your Q's expire.

    • Coupongal18

Ok – I've been shopping at Publix since the end of February but I have a question – I'm not a Newbie per say but I'm not way experienced either. I want to take advantage of the Ex-lax, Sundown Vitamins, Phazyme, Sominex, etc. deals but can I use that many Green Advantage coupons???? Is there usually a limit – I know some stores may vary but in general……could I possibly get all of those deals – I want to use the $5/2 couposn most definitely plus the others that give me profit twoards the rest of my grocery bill…..

      • Stacey0216

Good luck finding any! Most people clear the shelf. The coupon limit depends on the store.

      • sdarr

I go to the Publix in charleston/Johns Island and they will give you two a visit. I have had some of the clerks give me extra of the baby coupons simply bc they see the baby in the buggy. The good thing about the Green Advantage and Yellow Advantage is they typically last for 2 weeks or a more so you have time to make mulitple trips.

      • susan

i dont know if there is a limit, however, for best chances, go early in the morning on the first day of the sale….or the last day of the sale. this has always been helpful for my experiences….in finding most of the items in stock at the same time.

    • emerson

i have the following question when did the coupon booklets go out with the diaper coupons.

    • 2girls

Hey there is a $1 off coupon for velvetta cheese in the stocking spree Publix coupon book….

      • Stacey0216

        Its for the 32 oz.

    • sorry if this has been asked, but can anyone tell me where to get the one stop, one store q's from? thanks!

    • sorry if this has been asked before, but can some one please tell me where to get the one stop, one store q's?? thanks!

      • susan

i dont think they are available any longer, as the coupons expire today in the booklet. but mine were at the service desk, and you had to ask for them and they gave out one per day per customer.

    • Rachel

So I went to Publix yesterday to stock up on some basics since I had family coming into town last night. The cashier was a teenage guy who was obviously quite annoyed with my coupons. I sorted out all the B1G1 coupons & added in the price so he wouldn't have to search for it, had all of them out & ready to go right when I started unloading my cart, etc.–and I only had about 13 coupons total which really should not take that long to scan! My fiancee swiped his card to pay while I helped load the basket & on the way home made a comment that the coupons only saved about $9 in the end. Sure enough, I went back through the receipt and the cashier hadn't scanned $12 worth of coupons! But he kept them!! I'm so angry…I know some people find couponing annoying but it's not like I'm obnoxious about it. We budget around what we plan to spend at the store and I just lost money that way because scanning it all in while people were behind me was too much of a hassle for the kid.

      • Lfleming67

I am sorry this happened. How incredibley frustrating. Just a note.. I always sort my coupons by 'store' and 'manf.' I then count them out and only hand them to the cashier 10 at a time and I count every beep. Seems a little over the top, but I have lost too much money from sloppy scanning.

        • Breeana9

I have had the same issues with some cashiers. I also sort them by man, competitor, publix, (and b1g1 if I have any). I had them over in groups of 4 so I can watch them being rung in. I have only had one cashier who said he didn't like it being handed over like that, so I no longer go to him. The others appreciate that I do this.
Lately, I have found that I am being charge 1 additional item of something. This has happened several times now, and it's getting annoying that I have to stop and check the receipt before I leave.

      • guest

this has happened to me more times than I can count. It's usually the big coupons that are “conveniently” not scanned but are put into the pile as if they had been scanned. VERY frustrating!

      • genxeratl

This has happened to me so many times that I started: 1) Putting all my items on the belt and not swiping my card until the transaction was completely finished so I can keep track of every single item and coupon and 2) handing the cashier coupons typically in groups of 4 (plus or minus depending on if I'm pairing them). I don't know if they “conveniently” skip them, aren't paying attention, don't want to deal with it, or an equipment malfunction but I have lost a lot of money by coupons not being scanned and not realizing it until I'm home. Also, stop before walking out the door and double-check your receipt – if something was missed you can go back to Customer Service and have the error corrected (which I have done). Target is also bad for this and I do the same things there too. Good luck!

        • Squirrelhater

Amen…Publix is my favorite..but sometimes…There's a new cashier who held me up as she did everything but scan the coupons for fingerprints, but still managed to not scan 1 coupon. Then she denied 2 coupons because they were 1 day out of date. When she denied them,I told her to put those 2 items back which she did WITHOUT TAKING THEM OFF MY BILL.Fortunately a manager finally came to my rescue.I coupon for my family-not for fun or from boredom.Luckily,I have no interest at all in what that cashier with 15 minutes life experience and a bad attitude thinks of me or my coupons.I've learned to stand my ground, keep my cool, and count on the manager to do the fair thing.Publix has yet to let me down. You can expect a glitch or two with the slight change in policy..and I can't really blame them.I blame the shelf clearers..and the 10 limit should curb that some.Goody goody!

          • Leslindsey

i think it is interesting that you attempted to use expired coupons and are complaining about the cashier.

            talk about displaced anger….

            • Stacey

She didn't sound angry about it, just asked the cashier to take those items off her order. Its easy to overlook an expired coupon. Didn't sound like this person was trying to be dishonest.

            • I agree with Stacy, I did it today with the Dove Deo coupons at CVS. Realized it when she rang them up… To me it sounds like she was frustrated with the attitude of the cashier

      • Coupons090

for 12.00 i would go back . it stinks when you do everything you can to make things go as quickly and smoothly as possible and this kind of thing happens .i usually count coupons(in my head) as they come off to be sure it is accurate.one time a cashier was grabbing three coupons at a time and scanning them as one(i always turn the coupons in opposite directions so they dont stick ) she clearly knew what she was doing. i just stopped counting . no one is behind me the store is empty, and here she is trying to pick a fight with a crazy coupon lady.i said nothing to her and took it customer service and got my money back .the very sweet girl at customer service said she was very sorry .i told her not to be that whatever the cashiers problem was had nothing to do with her or Publix. it makes no difference to me if she hates coupons or me,i am still gonna shop here and use coupons when i do. .

      • Asolstice06

I have had a few coupon incidents. But I must say that my Publix is Hoschton, GA is awesome! They are always nice to me and they have even complimented me on my couponing skills. I have never had a cashier intentionally skip coupons or even give me attitude about them. I love my Publix and I am sure to tell them everytime I visit. Now Kroger on the other hand… I HATE THEM!

        • Mjclark1977

I agree, I like the Publix in Hoschton. I frequent the one over in Braselton (Chateau Elan) and they are pretty nice about coupons also. Loathe Kroger because every time I have ever been there, I feel like they don’t appreciate my business.

    • Frisbeebear

Is there a certain zip code for the Tysons chicken nuggets coupon? It's not showing up for me.

      • Val

I guess it's out of prints. It was there a few days ago.

        • JoshuaGriffing

Are the Fully cooked breasts, in the green bag, a part of this sale or the fried items only?

    • heluva good printable says do not double in the fine print, just in case a cashier looks. Just giving heads up

      • cheryl

Most coupons say these nowadays. Publix will still double anything 50 cents or less- they are not reimbursed for the doubling- that is a store policy to try and get you in the door because they're hoping you'll buy more than just the sale items.

        • cheryl

          say *this

    • Also, Phazyme printable is one offer per transaction. Another heads up, so no possible surprises if they deny at register. That is the 1.00 off..The 2 off is not.

      • genxeratl

In Atlanta I had no trouble using one store Q with 2 of the $2/off ea for the Phazyme. And even though the Qs say one per deal per customer they allowed more than one store Q to be used per transaction IF you bought two of the same thing per Q (ie. 2 Phazyme, 2 Exlax, 2 Gas-X, etc).

      • Rgnurse911

I used 4 coupons in one transaction today. No problems.

    • Tashia3378

I went to Publix in Easley, SC and they do have a new 10 sale item limit. I was only able to get 10 of the bic razors. I am actually very happy about this. I only buy 6 papers a week enough for my family and I can hardly every find the sale items without having to go first thing Wed. mornings and even then I will have to get a rain check on something. I understand the whole stock piling some do but I feel that others need sale items not just one taking it all.

      • Bryarsmom

I ran over to my work Publix early this morning so I wouldn't miss out on the razors.
You might want to take note of something-the Advance pkg contain 4 razors, the Flex 4 only have 3. And saddest of all, our $3. Q's do not include the Soleil :(

        • CCShad

The only Bic disp. razors at my store (Park West, Mt. Pleasant) were the 4 pack Soleil. My $3 q from 4/10 SS was good for the Soleil.

          • Rgnurse911

            So was mine. (GA)

          • PigBetsypen

The Soleil coupon was in the mail today and will be in 4/30 paper. We get an advance in with flyers in the mail Tues or Wed. I am in Augusta, Ga. I saw them in Publix today bogo

      • SC Susie

Our Publix on Eastside of Spartanburg has the same sign. You can still pre-order for larger quantities or come back the next day. This just helps keep the shelves stocked for everyone. I love it!

      • tonya in sc

You know, I have NEVER once been able to get the razors that are on sale at Publix. As for the 10 sale item rule – I am usually limited to 4 of any sale item. 10 sounds great to me.

    • CCShad

Cat food – the bad news is that the Beyond variety of Purina One cat food is not part of the B1G1 sale. The good news is that they have a 16 oz box of Purina One Beyond adult cat food for $2.79 regular price, Using the $2 man and $2 Target store coupons, that is $1.21 profit per box!

    • Bryarsmom

Keep an eye out for a new flyer in Publix:
Spring Savings/multi-colored front, with Up To $15 in Savings on the front.
I noticed a $1/2 Nature Valley Granola Bar Q you can use this week.

      • genxeratl

This is actually from General Mills. They were out last week but it looks like Atlanta stores have restocked as of this morning.

    • WynetteC

      *Heads Up*
Okay the $5/2 coupon listed above for use on the gas X
-$5/2 Ex-lax, Benefiber, Maalox, Gas-X or Prevacid products (Publix Coupon) Green Adv. Flyer (starts 4/23)
must be from a different flyer date and is not for the current Green Adv. Buy Sale. When I got to Publix this morning, the new Green Advantage Buy Flyer had a $5/2 coupon but it was only for Oscal, Citrucel, Ecotrin, Tagamet, Debrox, Gaviscon, Phazyme, Sominex, or Gly-Oxide. Gas X was not included on the wording or picture of the $5/2 coupon.
Either my Green Advantage Flyer was missing insert papers which have the coupon that is posted above or else this was a wrong entry.

      • genxeratl

The Exlax one is the really big Q on pg2 (just inside the front). At least the one in Atlanta has it. The other Q (for Phazyme, etc) is the one from the back page and is really small.

        • WynetteC

:::sigh::: I see it now….. I scanned it while in the store furiously looking for the coupon and hoping that it wasn't a misprint! Thank you for posting. I wish I could have found my mistake in the store while I still had the product.

        • Rgnurse911

If I'd read down more I'd have seen you already figured this out. lol

      • Rgnurse911

I used my in Canton, GA today. Mine were in the green advantage flier. I used two on Gas-X and two on Exlax. The fllier is only one page that folds in half. So four pages front and back. No inserts. It was on the second page.

        • Rgnurse911

It's a different coupon than the Oscal one.

      • susan

my husband and i each got 1 flyer each and both of them had the above mentioned coupon…its not a small one, like the oscal one, its a longer one. check again.

      • Mine had it…

    • genxeratl

FYI – the Baked Lay's are NOT part of the promo this week. The deal is actually for the Family Size of Lay's bags (13.5oz+ – although I only saw pags bigger than 14oz). So the store Q for Baked Lays does not apply unless you want to pay full price at $3.99 per bag (learned that the hard way after checking out because I didn't notice it at first). Also the Tostitos store Q that was in the Yellow flyer a week or two ago does not apply to the Family size bags – only the smaller ones. So there really are no good deals this week on chips. Target had a really good deal last week on Archer Farms and I will be going there tonight to see if it is still on (2/$5 and I had 2 store Qs for $1/ea – so ended up being $1.50/per bag).

    • Rgnurse911

Just had an awesome deal at Publix. Saved a little over $280 and spent $137. The Tombstone pizzas were $1 cheaper at my store. Several peelies. Some I didn't have coupons for and some were better than my coupons. Had some on Pepperidge Farm cookies, Shout and Dove deodorant. I love my Publix on Riverstone in Canton, GA. They are always so nice and super super helpful. Jenny thanks for your website. Saves me a lot of time.

      • genxeratl

I went this morning too – Smyrna and Cumberland stores (for Q reasons) and spent $56 but saved $106 (would have spent well over $100 buying without the Qs and deals shown here). Thanks Jenny – the work you do is awesome and so helpful. I was a couponer before but am so glad I found this site and am now much better off for it! Now I just have to find more space in my small townhouse and really small freezer – LOL!

    • susan

prevacid….save 5.00 on any 2 publix coupon….can be paired with the new rite aid video values 6.00 coupon and 3.00 manu to have overage if your publix accepts riteaid!! yeah!!

    • Ardis8500

I just printed a $3.00 of any 2 dove products coupon from coupons.com. this is great deal, since the womans Dove Deodorant (excl Ultimate) is B1G1F $2.99, which makes both FREE.

      • arhniles

What zip code did you find this under?

    • Kim

I'm in the Birmingham AL area and have had a hard time finding the Playtex Sport coupon in the 4/10 SS. Anyone else have that problem, or did I just miss it?

      • Larbars

not there for me either in Bham.

    • Stephsva

For the Purina One Cat Food our Publix in Macon, GA let us use the $2/1 mfr coupon and there is the $2/1 Target Web Coupon which made the cat food free plus profit. :) AWESOME!! We had a $211.12 bill and only paid $20.78, that is like a 90% savings. Thanks Jenny!!

    • Kira

I am wondering about the “Purina One Cat Food, 3.5 lb, at $6.99 ($3.49)” and whether the “Beyond” variety is also on sale. Has anyone checked to see if this is the case, so that we can actually use the “Manufacturer Coupon -$2 off Purina One Beyond cat food, SS 4/17”? I would love to get this deal, but I don't see how we can use this coupon.

      • Val

CCShad replied below that it's not part of the sale, but you can find a smaller box of Beyond that is free after your coupons.

        • Kira

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. :)

      • Our store took the $2/1 Purina One Beyond coupon off of the Purina One food that is on sale. We had no problems, they even took the Target coupon for the Purina One Beyond.

        • Jessica

That is improper use of the coupon. Just because the store took it doesn't make it okay.

    • Rosemary

I'm looking for the Voskos yogurt b2g1 coupon….What zip is it under?

      • Natalie

I saw it in the Publix Greenwise for April

    • Oh my heaven, I had my best Publix trip EVER today. $176 worth of groceries for FREE. And that's not even counting my Upromise deposit! It helped that I had one more $10/$50 Winn Dixie coupon from a mailer they sent me a few weeks ago, but it was just an incredible week! (Click the link on my name for detailed coupon info!) Who needs double coupons? :-)

    • Natalie

How many coupons can I use for the greek yogurt deal. If I have the buy 2 get 1 free, then how many $1/1 coupons can I use if only getting 3 yogurts?

      • ireneY

You are “buying” 2, so you can use 2 $1 Qs.

        • Natalie

I thought b/c I was using the Buy 2 get 1 free that “used up” 2 of the ones I am buying? I am really hoping my logic is wrong here and yours is right

          • ireneY

That's CVS logic! Publix is different.

            • Cayoung_8

yeah you can use 2 1/1 coupons with your b2g1 coupon. Your b2g1 coupon attaches to the free product… so doing this you will get 3 for free.

          • Natalie

The definitely took them, so thanks :)

    • Dukegirl120

Mcdonough Publix wouldnt let me use the $2 purnia beyond coupon or the bare solo coupon. because it wasnt for that exact item. any ideas on arguing this point with them???

      • Sandy

The manager is correct so, no ;).

      • Cheryl

You can't argue with them. You have to buy the product that is actually on sale to use the coupon when there is specific wording. I was looking to use the Solo Bare coupons as well, but then realized the “Bare” version of Solo was not included in the sale, so I simply didn't get them.

Sometimes this site has incorrect matchups because there are so many varieties of different products that Jenny doesn't know which varieties may or may not actually be included. Jenny does 95% of the work for you, but we still have to check her math and check her matchups ourselves to make sure they are all correct. I don't mind doing that other 5% of the work to make sure I am getting the right products with the right coupons.

      • Amy Herrington

I was dissapointed to see Beyond wasn't on sale either. : (

      • Frugal4life

If you look closely at the sale ad you can see that Solo Bare are included in the sale.

    • Frugal4life

Has anyone done the deal with the Bounty napkins and paper towels? using target, store and maf. Any insight thanks.

      • kristenk

yes! I did it today, and felt lucky, haha! Like a lot of things, it depends on the cashier. I used the stocking spree q for free napkins, the PG $110 booklet $1/1 bounty towels, and the target q $2 off towels and napkins… got both for $4.

    • Tashia3378

A friend went to Publix and they had a sign at the Bic Razors stating a limit of 4. Not sure what the deal is with that. I understand the limit 10 but not 4 how can they do that?

      • SpringFever

I heard that Publix was going to have some policy changes. I think others will follow shortly.

      • Marina115

I LOVE limits. For someone like me who only gets 2 or 3 of something, I am super excited when I come to the shelf and the item is actually there! WooHoo! :)

        • kristenk

Thank you! I hate when the shelves are cleared!! If you need it bad enough, make a 2nd trip to the store :)

    • Sstanf4042

Went to our Publix today in NW GA looking for the Stocking Spree booklet and was told by the manager that these were not available until June. He said he wasn't sure where Southern Savers got their information but Pepsi releases these books and they were not printing them until June.
      Anyone else have this problem?

      • Geenabean99

I am in NW GA too and I got mine in the mail a couple weeks ago. Unless there is another one I don't know about.

        • LuvinQP's

Not sure where that manager get's his information from. I have had my Stocking Spree books for about a month now. Many of us used them for the free toothbrushes a while ago…

      • kristenk

you had to register for it on stockingspree.com and it was sent to you in the mail… that manager must not have known!

    • Larbars

At Publix in VH, AL, the Sundown Naturals Vitamins had some for $2.99, vitamin A and D. So you don't just have to get the B6. And the B12 is only 3.99, so with your $1 off and the GAF $3 off it's still free.

      • genxeratl

Same in GA – The calcium was $3.99 and I also got the iron for $5.29 and just paid a little out of pocket (which $1.29 for iron is awesome). But they don't have them grouped very well (by type instead of brand) so be sure to look around at the whole section before making a pick.

        • Mmaxwell9

Do you know if the Cumberland location still has the Gas-X or Vitamins? I won’t be able to make it to the store until tonight…I hope the items with profit are still available.

      • CCShad

Check tablet amounts. The store coupon is for 120 plus counts of vitamins. The Vitamin A at my store is only 100 count, not sure about Vitamin D.

    • Jbearden4571

The deal they have post for the Purina One is confusing.. The q's are for Purina One Beyond and the ad is for Purina One. Am I missing something here?

      • Dukegirl120

i wasnt able to use my q for the purina 1 beyond this morning at publix…..cant find any purina 1 coupons.

      • CCShad

Turns out Beyond is not on sale, but I think Jenny puts it up there just in case. I used the $2 man and $2 Target Beyond coupons on 16 oz boxes of Beyond adult cat food that were $2.79 (just regular price), making a $1.21 profit per box!

    • Mekana84_7

Kmart has a store coupon in their circular this week for B1G1 for CapriSun. Would Publix accept it for their sale therefore making is $1.79 for 2? Just wondering if it sounds too good to be true.

      • CCShad

My Publix will only take “dollar off” competitor's coupons, like $1 off, etc. I would ask c/s desk at your store. I was at Kmart today and the Capri Suns are only $2 each, so $1 each with B1G1 coupon. Pretty good deal!

      • Mjb52403

I believe every Publix considers Competitor Q's differently. Mine will take Walgreens and Target only, but in your area it may be different. Just call ahead of time to be sure.

    • Lisa

My question is if Publix has a coupon for buy one thing and get something totally different free can I use manufacturer coupons for each of the items? Thanks!

      • genxeratl

Yes – you can use the store Q and then 1 manuf Q for each item.

    • Greenie

I live in Florida. When I buy Powerade @ BIFI, and have 2 B1F1 Qs, how many of the product do I get? Thanks.

      • Shon

You get 4 Powerades using the 2 BOGO Qs

        • Greenie

          Thank you, Shon

    • Josamky63

I just left my Publix in and I couldn't find the vitamins listed for $3.59. I did find them for $5.29. I even asked the store manager and tried to show her the print out of the list of things I was buying. Any how she told me that there could be no way they had vitamins for $3.59. We even took bottles up to the register to scan first before I bought them. I was upset!!

      • Jessica

Prices vary by store. You may not find the same prices at your store.

        • sharon

I was able to get melatonin…..always a staple at my house!

      • Sgburris

Mine was for vitamin B6, I think

      • Mjclark1977

Probably depends on the store. I found B-6 Sundown vitamins for $3.59 but that was the only one. I don't think it is a sale price, just the best one to do the deal with and some stores don't carry as many selections as others :(

      • Couponj

I've bought lots of Sundown vitamins for less than $4. The cheapest at my store is 2.99 and then they go up from there.

    • Cindyk1014

Please make sure you call Publix before you shop. In Summerville, SC at the end of the month they will no longer take Target or drugstore coupons. I asked customer service if they will post signs for everyone to know and they let me know they did not know if they would or not. I save a lot of money using both a mfg coupon and Target coupons. I know we have been lucky because other Publix's stores stopped this a long time ago
      .

      • Kcrewfive

I had gone to 2 differnet Publix stores today and the same responce.

      • KAW

        Try Goose Creek store….

      • Holly Bowen

Yes, Jenny stated at a recent coupon class in my town that Publix will be changing their policies to only take competitor coupons from those stores that have a deli, bakery, etc…so that they really can be called a competitor. Which is a little of a downer, but better for the store so that we can all keep saving money!

    • Kcrewfive

Went to Publix and had 8 recylcebank coupons for Honest Tea and the cashier and manager at Publix told me that they do not accept Recyclebank coupons. they turned down other people today too with recyclebank q”s. They said it was because it says recyclebank at the top and not manufactuerer or a store name. So where in the world CAN I use these that I prined?????

      • Kkbrobst

I had gone to 2 different publix stores today and same responce.

      • Kkbrobst

I also got hassled by the cashier when I tried to use my 10 target coupons for the $.01 carefree. She was fine with using those but when I added 4 of the $.50 /1 carefree Q's she said I am not allowed to go past free. She then made a snyde remark “You're getting ti for a penny a piece. What more do you want?” I told her that I wanted the overage to put towards the rest of my order and that I have never had an issue as long as my order total was more than 0 I was fine. She got a supervisor and she said the same thing and they said they would be calling the other P{ublix stores in our town and telling them to not do it anymore. SUX!

        • kristenk

uggh it all depends on the cashier!! but don't they get reimbursed for the whole 50 cents anyway? i wish i knew how that worked. if they don't really get reimbursed for it, then i understand, but otherwise…

          • Jen

Publix ONLY gets money back on MANUFACTURER coupons. If it doubles, they do not make all the money back, Just what the coupon was originally worth. They DO NOT get paid back for any TARGET, FOOD LION, or KROGER coupons. We're lucky they take the competitor coupons!

        • Carra

You're lucky you were able to use 10 of those. At my store, they will only take 1 Target coupon. I don't complain because they aren't getting paid back for those. Any time I have a Target coupon that good, I take it to Target. I don't like having my Publix eat the Target coupons – I want Target to eat their own coupons!

          • Mote7299

both of yall are lucky…i went today to buy the Purina cat food (not part of the bogo), it's $2.79 a box…i had a $2.00 m coupon and a $2.00 target coupon…got to check out and they no longer take target coupons!!!! so upset!

          • Erika

At my Publix they only take one Target coupon as well. This is because most of the Target coupons say, “Only one coupon per transaction” and when taking competitors coupons they are supposed to follow the terms on the coupon.

        • Cindyk1014

Walmart took the coupons for one cent Carefree without any issues.

        • If you read the $0.01 target coupon it says “you may use one target coupon, and one manufacturer coupon” so right there on the coupon it says you are allowed to use it with another coupon. I'm sure they knew when they printed it that people would be able to get overage. I used mine at target and they had no problem using manuf. coupons with it.

        • FreedomSpradley1

I had a situation like this happen to me with a B1G1 Publix coupon combined with a B1G1 manufacturer coupon. The kid cashier told me that they couldn't stack coupons if it caused an item to be free. I told him they do it all the time with $/1 coupons but I wasn't going to push the issue. The manager agreed on not being able to stack for free items. It wasn't worth arguing so I told them to just take off the items that the coupons were suppose to apply to.

        • Shimpfriedrice

Some stores dont allow overage. Mine doesnt.

        • sharrona

They should not take Target coupons anyway, its not a competetor

      • Couponj

I've never had an issue using them at CVS if you have that in your area. They are on sale for $1 right now.

    • bak723

Did anyone get coupons in their Sunday paper this past week?

      • Marina115

Jenny posted on Friday that there would be no coupons in the paper this weekend.

    • mjw3i

I shop at the Murfreesboro, TN location, and just got home from this weeks shopping trip. I was really disappointed. Over half of what was listed on here for what was on sale…wasn't.

      • JessicaJennings

I'm from Murfreesboro also, and I had no problem finding these deals….

    • Kristie

Is there another zipcode to try for the Hormel Lunch meat? I am not seeing it when I search. Thanks for your help.

      • kristenk

i bought hormel pepperoni to make pizzas, and there was a peelie for other hormel products, including 50 cents/lunch meat

    • Wes

How do you get the Green and Yellow Advantage Flyers? I can't seem to find these in the store. Or are they a mailer?

      • kristenk

near the weekly ad, and they also come out in my newspaper… ask customer service!

      • Holly Bowen

In my Publix they have them behind the counter at the Customer Service desk b/c people were taking so many when they were located at the front of the store. Just ask your Customer Service and they should hand you those flyers and any other coupon booklets they have in stock ; )

        • PigBetsypen

I found some in the lobby and at another store in the store and at another they handed them out at cs. Also at some stores they scan coupons as they ring each item, Others at the end. Today I laid them on each item and she didn't seem to understand what I was doing. Just watching and using tips I am hearing.

    • kristenk

I was loving publix today.. I got to do the phazyme/sominex/gas-x deal for a nearly $8 profit and found peelies galore throughout the store. I was also able to do some of the deals that I wasn't sure I'd get away w/… like the bounty towels/napkins and the charmin tp/freshmates. I dropped off a LOAD of diaper coupons in the baby aisle, so I must have had good coupon karma!

      • Eric S.

I was loving it too! I got tons of diapers, free wipes, and cheap wipes. Also the charm in and bounty deals worked for me too! The wife was impressed today. Wohoo!

    • I noticed a small change in the way Publix rings up B1G1 coupons with B1G1 sale items. It used to be that when you combined a B1G1 Free sale item with B1G1 Free Coupons, the items would end up being FREE!

Now when you do this type of transaction it will ring up as follows (I'll use the current Powerade Zero special for my example)

Powerade $1.25 on Sale for B1G1 Free

      Powerade 1 $.63
      Powerade 2 $.62
      B1G1 Coupon -.62

Final cost .62 for both or .31 each

      • Marina115

It's always been like that in GA. The only place that has true BOGO is in Florida. Is that where you're at?

        • Smak7_13

Yes it is! I love my Publix!

        • Shelly_n_skye

The publix in Alabama where I am at has the true BOGO!! I went ther last week or so and I had a manufacturers coupon for BOGO of deo and body wash and they had an in store coupon for the same thing and it was free!!! But when I also do the BOGO it takes off the second item purchased.

      • Smak7_13

My Publix doesn't do that thank goodness. They rang up $1.25 each then the 2nd one is taken off. So when the coupon is taken off, it takes off $1.25.

      • here in SC it's always been that way, :( Only in Drug store does it work out correctly

    • Mjclark1977

This may have been answered earlier, but has anyone found the Suave hair care Publix coupon in the Green Advantage Flyer? I remember seeing one about a month ago, but did not see one in the flyer that started 4/23.

      • Melissasmyly

        I cant find it either

      • Gail

I had some from the green flier but they expired 4/1/11. Are you talking about other ones?

    • Jana

I am looking for the Suave coupon from the Green Advantage flyer. Anyone know when that was from!?

    • Holly Hammers

Okay, my wife and I are new to this. We have the sales flier from the Sunday paper (in fact we have four), but this doesn't seem like the Green Advantage Flyer I keep reading about. Am I missing something?

      • Coupongal18

The Green and Yellow Advantage fliers that are talked about on here are in the stores – you pick them up where the sales ads are located!!!!
        HTH!!!!

        • Shelly_n_skye

Everytime i go into my Publix there is never those fliers where the ads are, in fact they said they dont have any flires. This has happened on every occassion i have went there.

          • Fromkhadija

Some stores have them, and the other stores seem to have LOADS of them. Very irritating. Try another store.

            • Fromkhadija

I mean, some stores DON'T have them, sorry.

          • Marina115

Do you get the sunday paper? I always get them in the newspaper the first week they come out.

        • I have always picked up the yellow and green ads from customer service. I don't think my store keeps them out. For some reason you have to ask for them.

          • Freeingu

because people sell them on Ebay

      • Janine

We also get the green and yellow flyers in our paper (AJC in GA) sometimes, but I get them at the store where the sales paper is located or you can ask at the customer service desk.

    • Coupongal18

So, I didn't have time to do my full shopping trip but I did want to get some of the things that I knew would definitely be gone by tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday afternoon when I have the time to really do my shopping…..I know I took away some of my profit but I'm still pretty pleased with what I did :

      I bought:
      (2) John Frieda shampoos
      (2) Shout
      (2) BIC razors
      (2) Phazyme

I used: -$5 Green Advantage of Phazyme, (2) -$2 off Phazyme, (2) -$2 John Frieda products (green advantage), (2) -$1 off John Frieda man. coupons, (2) -$3 Bic razors, (2) -$0.55 Shout, (1) -$1.00 Shout (Baby club)

      Total before coupons: $28.54
      OOP: $4.93

I'm excited because I know the razors at my store would go fast and probaby all the medicine deals this week. I definitely want to do the other deals like Gas-X, etc but hopefully, I will still have that option!!!!!!

    • Couponj

I wish the 12pks of 7up were .75 each but I believe they're just $3 with no known coupons unless I'm missing something?

      • Danielle Sudduth

I went to publix today and the 7-up is part of the b3g1. No idea where the $.75 came from because they were $3 each. All the Canada Dry brand is part of the deal though.

    • Couponchick229

My Target coupons did not print with the dollar amout to be taken off. Last time I tried to use the target coupon the cashier told me she couldn't take it because she didn't know what the dollar amount of the coupon was. Has anyone else had this issue?

      • Shelly_n_skye

I had the issue with the cashier no ttaking my Riteaid coupon. She said they only accepted coupons from “Traditional” grocery stores..

        • Erika

This is because every Publix has different stores that they consider a competitor. Check with your customer service desk for a full list. You may find there are other competitors in your area that you didn't know about!

          • JanT

My Publix in Auburn, AL says the competitor has to be a 60% grocery sales store…so they will not take Target, CVS, Walgreens, or Rite Aid.

When I'm in doubt about a coupon, I try to stop by the service desk before I shop so I have not problems in the line. And, the service desk attendant has the authority to override the cashier. Ask questions, the cashiers aren't always coupon savvy and you may miss out on a deal!

            • PigBetsypen

Augusta, Ga Publix stores say they do not take Target or drug store.

      • Erika

Hmmm…. maybe try uninstalling the coupon Print Activator and reinstall. If that doesn't work try a different web browser (like firefox). Target does have a coupon FAQ page that has other suggestions for coupon printing problems.

    • Our Green Advantage flyer did not have any coupon for the Suave, does anyone have the Suave coupon in their flyer?

    • Couponj

Please help, the math isn't working out in my head… I'm in Florida, a true BOGO area. I have a coupon for Buy 10 32 ounce Powerade get 5 Powerade free. We go through lots of Powerade in the summer heat. I also have 4 BOGO coupons so I was planning to get 8 Free until I found this hang tag. So… Is there a correct way to use both the BOGO coupons and the hang tag to maximize savings?

My thought was to buy 28
      Buy 10 BOGO = $6.25
      Get 10 more free – coupon takes off $6.25 (5 @ 1.25)
Get 8 with my BOGO coupons = free
Out of Pocket 6.25 for 28 powerades or .22 each

I was wondering if I could leverage those 5 free ones with the BOGO coupons, I would buy less but have less out of pocket. Either way it's a great deal but wanted to throw it out there.

      • Kward17

I think you can.. I'm in Florida as well. Give it a try and worse case scenario you have to get more, haha

    • Frisbeebear

Zip code for the Hormel Deli Meat?

      • Frisbeebear

Also for the Sundown vitamins….I am new to this, how do you ladies find the coupons after clicking on the link, are there certain zip codes you go through? Or maybe the coupons are just gone already? I know sometimes she lists the right zip, but sometimes not. Help!

    • Frugal4life

Just got back from a late night quick trip to Publix. Of course all the profit items were gone, but I think I did pretty good.
Got the a box of Huggies diapers w/ free wipes/
6 pack of Bounty paper towel w/free napkins
      Charming 12Dbl roll
      2 Purex Crystals softeners
      4Bic razors
      Box of 55 glad bags
      2 Phazyme
      Before coupons $77.39
After $25.90 and will go back tomorrow to turn in a Publix $5/30. I am bless that my store takes Target Q, Man and store for one Item. Yay!

      • Pickens_1

Where did you get your$5/30 coupon? Thanks!

        • Frugal4life

There was a stick on Q in the Sunday paper. Im in Florida.

      • Katie

So, to use the 5/30, you just have to spend at least 30 dollars before coupons, right?? Or after?

        Thanks

        • Frugal4life

Its before coupons, I just forgot mine. So if my total would have been less than $30 after coupon it would'nt matter.

    • crystalfawn

Snapple 6 packs are B2G1. In addition there is a Snapple rebate for a 6 pack and printable $1.00 coupons. I figure it will cost me $3.99 for 3 six packs after coupons and rebate. Not bad! Or buy 1 six pack use the $1.00 coupon and rebate and it becomes a money maker!

      • JoshuaGriffing

        Where is the rebate?

        • O2bhis1

It was taped to some of the snapple's in my publix.

    • Gloverdee9

Does anyone know where to get the $4 coupon for the GasX Prevention, she has SS 12/12?

      • Couponj

        That's accurate, I found mine.

        • Gloverdee9

But the date is throwing me 12/12?

          • br

It is back from Dec 12, 2010.

    • Margiecb

Heads up! My cashier at the Trenholm Road Columbia location told me that the new Publix Coupon Policy states that cashiers have to match up each coupon with individual items. In other words, they have to flip through the coupons and scan it along with the item. It takes FOREVER and my cashier was super irritated – not so much with me but with the company.

      • Abbielou02

My cashier ALWAYS does this anyway! I thought it was normal

        • some of mine do it, I like cuz she count how many items I have then counts the coupons so she doesn't miss one..

      • Cindyk1014

I also had that happen last week – cashier not to happy and the person behind me either.

      • Josamky63

I live in FL and my cashier did that to me to. I was like lady I gave you the right coupons take them already.

      • Leslie

Here is what I do. I load all my items on the conveyor belt. If the cashier begins scanning before I am done I ask politely could she please wait. I like to check the screen to make sure I'm not grabbing the wrong item (you know what I mean. You grab an item thinking it's bogo and it ends up being the wrong size, flavor…). As she scans my item, if I have a coupon for it I hand it to them at that time. She appreciates it and I ALWAYS catch a mistake I made!

        • itismedia

Leslie, I do the same thing. It is sooo much faster! I know what items I have coupons for and how many. I can pull them and have them ready before she finishes ringing that item up (say 4 boxes of pasta). The cashiers appreciate it too. She/he doesn't have to dig through checking or spread them all out everywhere, etc…

      • Susanizanurse

I was told by a couple of cashiers & CS rep last week at the Publix I shop that they are implementing a “new computer program” that would match the coupons with the items scanned. Presently, there's no matching done except via visual inspection by the cashier. I've been repeatedly told that the register doesn't match at all in that I could buy a frozen pizza & use a Bic lighter coupon & it wouldn't catch it. This doesn't sound right to me as I've picked up the incorrect cake mix before completely by accident & the register beeped when the coupon was scanned. They indicated this new “computer system” was a Publix change, i.e. all stores.

    • LA Henson

My All You coupon says $2.00 off when you buy Glad trash bags AND Clorox Formula 409, or Tilex cleaning coupon NOT Clorox Formula 409, Tilex or Glad

    • Kristin

Anyone know where you can get the “Get more from your pharmacy” booklet? I see it on Publix and Kroger matchups all the time and I've looked around my stores for it and never seen it near the pharmacy or customer service.

      • Erika

I found them at my Kroger pharmacy, but it was months ago!

      • Leslie

I usually see it in the pharmacy area on a little metal display rack. It looks like a regular pharmacy pamphlet.

      • Jeff

It is only available at the Kroger pharmacy.

    • Lfleming67

Had a new experience at Publix yesterday. I always sort my coupons as manf. and store and then I count them into piles of 10 so that as I hand them to the cashier, I can count the beeps as they scan. Before this, I found them not all scanning by sticking together or being dropped, etc. Anyway, a manager was checking me out and as i gave him my coupons he would go through them and mentally calculate the total and type in one bulk amount. He NEVER scanned ANY of my coupons. I thought this was REALLY strange. He did it very fast too. I sat in my car afterwards and recalculated all of the q's I could remember and feel like he came within .50 of what it should have been. I can live with that I guess, but still think it is weird. I would rather watch each one come off my bill, especially the ones that are supposed to double.

      • Mary

I've had a cashier do that before. Some of the coupons, not just printed ones, but also clipped ones weren't scanning, so she just started grouping them and taking off amounts. Weird that he did them all that way. At least he is good with math :)

      • Marina115

I've never seen that happen. It's VERY strange and I would definitely call or email them about it. It may be convenient for him, but if you get to the car and realize he's more than .50 cents off there's no way to tell him which coupons he missed.

      • Lisa J.

There are a few cashiers who do that at my store but only with competitors' coupons. So now I make sure to add them all up beforehand to be sure they are taking off the proper amount. How weird that they wouldn't simply scan the manufacturers' coupons.

      • Gatorginger

I HAVE A CASHIER THAT DOES THAT AND I DON'T MIND IT AS IT IS FASTER BUT YES SOMETIMES THEIR MATH IS OFF SO YOU DO HAVE TO WATCH CLOSELY. I USUALLY WRITE TIME ON MY SHOPPING LIST HOW MUCH MY COUPONS ARE SO I KNOW IF THEY AMOUNT KEYED IN WAS RIGHT

    • Ebragan

The new Publix coupon policy is apparently due to the people who go overboard (like those people on Extreme Couponing). One of the employees was telling me this the other week. Boo to the people who abuse the system!

    • emily

I feel like I should know this….. but how do you get the green and yellow advantage ads to get those coupons??!

      • Joynunez24

They are in the stores usually next to the sales ads.

      • SydneyC

At all my local stores, they are at the customer service desk. They want people to ask for them so one person isn't taking 20 or so.

    • CCShad

Some interesting new store coupons in the Publix Family Style magazine – summer edition:
$3/2 GSK oral care items (Aquafresh, Sensodyne, poligrip, etc.)
      $1/1 Loreal Kids haircare
      $1.50/1 Yucatan Guacamole
$1.25/1 Naturally Fresh dressing (ginger kind is awesome!)
      $1/1 Publix crispy chicken fritters
      $1/1 Le Petit baguettes
      $5/1 Taylor Connoisseur digital thermometer
$1/1 Publix Apron's Simple Meals recipe binder
      $5/1 Amco garlic press/slicer
This magazine comes to me in the mail, but I have seen them in the store near weekly ad.

      • CCShad

        -all good thru 7/31/11

      • SydneyC

The ones I've seen at the store don't have coupons though.

        • itismedia

Yes, the magazines they mail out have the coupons. The ones on the stand are the same magazine, just minus the coupons.

    • Amanda

I just spoke to the store manager at the Publix I always go to (Chapel Hill in Douglasville, GA) and he told me that he reads this site every week! He said there is a store manager that compiles a list of what SS says are going to be the best deals, and sends it to other store managers so that they know what to stock up on for the next ad. So THAT”S why they seem to always have what I'm looking for.. I love that store!
He also said they are working on a coupon policy so they have something in writing, but he doesn't know any details. He pretty much said he'd like to not take competitors coupons anymore since they lose money on them. Can't say I blame him for that.

      • Val

That's great that the manger reads this site so, he knows the needs of his customers. If Publix stopped taking competitor coupons though, I'd probably do a lot less shopping there. Compared to the other grocery stores around the area Publix is a lot more expensive (like milk is $1.00 more there than at my local Kroger and I go through about 4 gallons a week). But by accepting other stores coupons I know I'll make up the difference so, I don't mind spending a little extra on other items I don't have coupons for. I'm happy with my Publix coupon policy and I hope things don't change too much!

        • Asolstice06

I think Publix puts the most coupons out over any other traditional grocery store. I live about 10 minutes from my Publix and literally acrossed the street from a Kroger and I will drive to Publix for most of my couponing deals. My kroger does not accept competitors coupons and will not allow more than one coupon per item. No stacking allowed. And they have a terrible attitude towards coupons. I have even been accused of using fraudulent coupons(which REALLY offended me). I will run into Kroger for milk or bread or eggs, the 'run in quick' stuff. But I will do the majority of my shopping from Publix. Even if they stop taking competitors coupons. Honestly, Publix puts so many of their own store coupons out that I don't think it will effect my shopping very much. I love publix!

    • Mopsypie

I just saw that the Dove Deordorant that is B1G1 this week, that some of them have a $55/1 Manufacture coupon on them. Just a heads up to everyone!!

    • Klbrown8709

Right now Walgreen's has $10 off Crest White Strips coupon and there was another $10 off Crest White Strips in P&G Home Mailer….not sure how much they are originally but for $20 off, who cares? :)

      • cg

The 2 hour express sells for around $45 before coupons. They make your teeth whiter, but the peroxide makes your teeth hurt for a couple of days after. I did this deal before where I paid $25 for the year's supply (4 sets since they are supposed to last 3 months each) and I would not do it again. It hurt my teeth too much to care about being 1 or 2 shades whiter.

    • Melissasmyly

I asked my manager in mccalla and there is not a $.50 off suave!! where else can i find one???? it was not in the flyer at all

      • Gatorginger

I GOT A 50 CENT OFF SUAVE AT THE BEAUTY COUNTER OF WALGREENS LAST WEEK

    • Lindaschulz1

I got a cpn in the mail last week for a free glade spring collection item. This week glade candles are b1g1 so I got 2 free. I think the cpn was from glade directly, I can't remember now. Good luck

      • guest

I did the same thing but there was also a glade spring collection display at the end of the aisle that had $1.50/2 coupon tearpad so I made $1.50!

        • Martin

If you only bought 2 candles, you used more coupons than allowed. Your FREE item Q covered 1, and the 1.50/2 covered TWO more…

    • Tlc_angel64

Ok advice please! How do you know if they are ringing your coupons up correctly?? Whats the easiest way to make sure they are right? I have a problem with that they all lok the same as they scan them!! Thanks!

      • Beth

I've had problems with that too. What I've been doing lately is if I have more than one printable coupon I turn down the right hand corner a bit so they are easier for the cashier to separate. I try to alternate those kind of coupons with coupons from the newspaper if I can. I also count the number of coupons I have so I can see if the number of scans equals the number of coupons. Another thing that some of the cashiers at my Publix like is for me to put my items on the belt in the order of my coupons. That actually helps me count to make sure all of the coupons have been scanned. At Publix if the cashier forgets to scan one and you figure it out after you've left just go to the service desk. They'll get the coupon out of the cashiers drawer and give you the money for it. I've had to do that once or twice. I've also had to do it at Food Lion but they weren't as friendly about it.

        • Peggy

Printable coupons are like new money in that they tend to stick together. I had two that stuck together once and only got counted as one. I bend mine just a little down the middle so they will separate.

    • Ashlyn0599

Can you only find the “Get More from You Pharmacy” booklet at Kroger's? We do not have any Kroger's in Jacksonville, FL… so I didn't know if there were any other stores that may have this booklet also.

      • Jeff

yes – only at the Kroger pharmacy

    • Danielle

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that at our publix (Calera, AL) there were 2.00 off coupons on the bags of cat food that are BOGO. I picked up three bags, then thought more of it when I got home. Asked my husband to go back and get three more but within the few hours, someone had torn everyone of them off the bags. It's very frustrating, but doubt there's anything that can be done. Anyways, just wanted to give you all a heads up to keep an eye for them if you're lucky enough to be at a store who still has them!

    • guest

Will there be a penny item tomorrow since the ad started Monday?

    • Foxgait

The Dove deodorant coupon won't come up to print.

    • Kadigirl4

New Publix Coupon Policy Heads Up!

The cashier notified me yesterday that as of last week they no longer accept target coupons. Booo! Charleston, SC

      • KristifromChelsea

It depends on your store. Some in my area do accept Target, some do not. If you have another not to far from you try that one. Unfortunately, each publix store manager has the freedom to make their own coupon policy. Some stores are better than others.

      • Lwilliams

The Vadosta, GA store will no longer take Target coupons either. I asked for a copy of their coupon policy and was told they are not allowed to give the info out but would tell me verbally.

    • Brennemangraphic

Publix, dorchester rd/ashley phosphate, n chas SC, the COLGATE toothpastes are not 2/$3 they are 2/$5.

      • Lauren

I noticed that too. The 2/$5 toothpastes have a larger sale sign in front of them. But if you look closely, there are a few colgate toothpastes that say 2/$3. The sign is as tiny as the regular price signs. Hope this helps!

    • Peggy

The State Newspaper (Columbia, SC) has a $5 off $30 coupon in today's newspaper in a Public Spring Cleaning Sale flyer. Don't head out the door to do your shopping without it!

      • Lisa

I got that in the mail today!!!

    • Jandmbanks

this looks just like last weeks ad.

      • Danyeln

This ad has been running since Monday and will run till next Teusday or Wednesday. When Publix closes for a holiday the weeks before and after have longer running ads.

    • Sharon

There are no more prints for the Tombstone Pizza coupon.

    • Nisha1997

I went to Publix yesterday and had approximately $30 in groceries before coupons. I was going to purchase the BIC Soliel razors which are b1g1 free, so they were like $2.74 each, but i had a coupon for $3 off and the cashier would not let me use it because it would make the razors free! It wasn't like they were going to have to owe me money because i still had alot of other items. When i read the coupon, it did not say anything about the coupon not exceeding the cost of the item. Another thing, it states, the retailer will get $3 plus $.08 handling, so wouldn't they get a deal too, when it cost $2.74, but are getting $3 back plus $.08? Am i missing something here?! I was very disgusted, although, $2.74 is still a good price :-(

      • cg

My store always lets me use overage on other products and does not reject these coupons. One time a customer service rep tried to tell me I couldn't use a coupon that was going to make 30 cents because she said I needed to buy something else to use the overage on. There was nothing else I wanted at the time, and when I asked her to check with the manager he made the cashier open up the drawer and give me 30 cents!

Some people seem to have very picky cashiers, customer service reps or managers. Publix doesn't have a corporate policy on coupons, and it is up to each store to decide. In your case, I would have asked for the manager. Most managers seem to be more interested in providing you with great customer service because they don't want to lose your business.

If the manager had still denied your coupons, I would have asked them to void them and put the items back and tried my coupons at another Publix. If you live in an area with several local Publix stores like me, you can find which one is best for you.

        • Nisha1997

Thanks for your response! I will try again.

      • Asolstice06

That doesnt sound right. If that happens again I would go to the manager. It sounds like the cashier didnt know what she was doing. Sorry. Maybe you can bring your receipt and coupons back to the manager and tell them what happened and they will give you your money back. Its worth a try.

        • Nisha1997

I will! Thanks for your response :-)

          • Lovelola007

You CAN go to customer service with your receipt and coupons to get your money back…at least I've done it before because I forgot to use my coupons lol

      • Nike

I did the same deal at my publix yesterday and got 4 of the razors and used four $3 off 1 coupons. The cashier took it with no problem. Talk to the manager.

        • Nisha1997

Wow! Did they owe you money or did you have other items? I am going to try again.

        • Courtney

I was going to buy the Bic Soilel razors today but I read on my $3 off q that those were not included.

          • CG

There are two different types of Soleil… regular Soleil (I think those are red/orange/yellow) and Soleil Bella (blues and purples). The $3/1 coupon that just came out yesterday on Facebook is for the Bella, the $2/1 one that was in a recent Newspaper insert is for the regular Soleil. Another $3/1 Bic from the insert included several of the men's razors. So far I've gotten 3 packs of Bella, 1 pack of regular Soleil, and 3 men's Bic flex all for a total profit of 75 cents (since one of my coupons was only $2 so the other overage helped make it free).

Love publix!! Couponing since January (beyond just what a typical person does) and I have SO many free things I'll have to start giving them to family and friends!

      • kristenk

she should have at least keyed it in for the price of the item… she can't tell you that you can't use a coupon if it is for the right item and size, etc… for a little money i don't make a fuss, but for $3, you should ask for the manager!

      • Gatorginger

I WAS ABLE TO DO THE RAZOR DEAL AND GOT FOUR PACKAGES ABSOLUTELY FREE

      • Ashley

yeah they should have taken them… i just got 4 free…and like someone else said, for a few cents or even a dollar..i wont press the issue but i definitely wouldnt have paid 2.74 for something that should have been free..even though i dont think they're suppose to, they could have atleast adjusted the coupon down to 2.74. I'd go back and take the coupon and explain… unless its a far drive then its not worth it but you were right here and they should have taken the coupon.

    • JanT

      Heads up!!! :-)

There's a printable coupon for 70cents off ONE box Raisin Bran on the Kellogg’s website (you have to register/sin-in) Also, some coupons for Special K and Keebler Graham Cracker Pie Crust!

    • Couponmama

I was told by my cashier and also verified with the manager that Publix will take one store, one manu and one comp coupon on ONE item only. You can't go and stock up on a bunch of items but still I think thats great news!

      • Pepsi1williams

If they will take 3 coupons there is a good deal on charmin and bounty. there is a target, publix, and manf coupons for both of these products.

      • Pepsi1williams

just went to publix and they would not let me do the 3 coupons on 1 item.

      • Donna

It does not pertain to ALL Publix Stores. Each store is by store manager. Some will only allow one store or competitor coupon AND one man q or some may allow all 3, check with your store before shopping to know their policy.

    • JadeV

Powerade are BOGO ($1.25 for two or $0.62 each) and I have a BOGO coupon. Would it take off $1.25 or $0.62?

      • valentine

im in FL and i know here if u use a bogo on a bogo sale u get both free. i got 6 powerade free couse i had 4 of the bogo coupons.

      • Heather

        only the .62 in GA

      • Ipreferpublix

depends on where you live. If you're in a true bogo area, you get both items free. One with the sale, and one with the coupon. If you're in an area where items ring up half price, then you will get that value for your coupon, so you pay half price of one for two.

    • Sonseeker2000

I am having a hard time finding the Hormel coupon off of coupons.com. Do I need to use a specific zip code?

      • Sweetpea11_82

Did you ever figure this one out? I've had a hard time finding it too. Thanks!

    • Daiseyrae

Does anyone know how ofter Publix places the baby food on sale buy B1G1?

      • Heather

Only like once or twice a year

        • kristenk

i remember it being bogo in either august or september of last year… so maybe soon!!

      • BBarker

Seems like Beech-Nut Baby food went BOGO early last May. Some of Gerber's went on sale (Non-BOGO) in early June. Some other Gerber's went on sale (again Non-BOGO) in late June. And some other Gerber's (Non-BOGO) in mid July. (If I remember correctly!!!) HTH!

        • Lizzita182

They were on Clearance in my store FL

      • Couponing4myfamily

I know it may seem like a lot of work, but I made all my own baby food. This is especially cost efficient when birds eye steam bags go on sale and fresh fruits go on sale. I would spend one Saturday morning “cooking” my baby food, puree in a blender, with a little water (depending on the consistency your little one needs), pour in ice cube trays to freeze, pop out of the trays and freeze in freezer bags. Be sure to date them (they last for up to 2 months) and one cube is a serving. Check out Wholesomebabyfood.com for some recipes. But, easy peasy and sooo much cheaper than jar stuff. Both my littles enjoyed it! HTH!

    • ponygirl19

I am SOOOOO frustrated ! Every time I try to print a coupon it says something about my printer not matching up ! I have tried EVERYTHING ! I am so upset that I am missing out on great deals due to “Coupon Print”… this is the only site I have trouble with.

      Can ANYBODY help me !

      • Jessicahurff

        Hi ponygirl19:

Does the error message say that you need to re-set your default orintr? if so, go to Start in the bottom left corner of your computer screen and left click on it, then choose printers and faxes and left click on that. That should bring up the list of printers and faxes that you ahve available. Make sure that you have the printer you normally use chosen as your default printer. You can tell because there will be a little checkmark next to it if it is set as your default. If you do not see a checkmark next to any of your printers, right click on the icon representing the one you normally use and choose the option that pops up in the pop up window that says “set printer as default”.

    • Cassierice3

I was trying to print the sominex and phazyme coupons and the web site say ok the coupons are now being sent to your print .but then the web site is just saying printing coupons……………………

    • Heather

      Purina BEYOND is NOT BOGO.

      • Thank you for letting me know. Sometimes I cannot tell which brands are BOGO so I match all coupons so I don't miss anything. Sorry for the mistake.

        • Ipreferpublix

Jenny, I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I can't find a contact email. I have been reading your site since the very first day you started it. I have noticed that over the last few months I am seeing more and more invalid matchups on the store lists. I know you have a lot of stores now, and people helping you do the match-ups, but they really should be more careful.
For example, the “Spring Family Gatherings” coupons all say “only good at Publix” and these are listed on several other store lists (such as Harris Teeter) as Manufacturer coupons to use for sale items there (they are mq's, but state only valid at Publix). There have been quite a few coupons listed that specify a size, but the item on sale obviously is not that size.
I know you are an honest couponer and encourage good couponing ethics, but there are SO many new people that may not realize some of these match-ups aren't valid, I wanted you to be aware. Perhaps the people helping you do matchups could spend a few more minutes double-checking them before finalizing the posts.

I appreciate your site, and thought I should point out the discrepancies.

      • Lovelola007

no but if you get the small boxes and print the $2/1 target coupon and the $2/1 manufacturer coupon (the boxes are i think $2.59 each) you get them free and make $1.41 on each transaction!!!!

    • Wyattabbymom

can't find the Target Suave coupon anyone know if it is still available

      • mommyof1

i cant find it either.. i got some target coupons the other day when the new target ones were posted, and i didnt see one then.. hmm

    • Kathy

In today's Beaufort Gazette (4/27) there is a Spring Cleaning Sale booklet that has a $5 off $30 purchase.

    • Santiagosandi

ARGHHHHH!!!!!!! I am annoyed I went to Publix today, got all of the deals, Got up to the register, the cashier rang up my groceries and than double checked my coupons which took her ten minutes after my items were rung up. And not one was wrong or returned to me because I was in the wrong. The person behind me was less than happy with me. I sent an email to their corporate office, I purposely left out the cashiers name because I think she was doing what she was told.

      • Tam1

I personally think it's perfectly fine for a store to make sure coupons are being used correctly and for the right products so they don't get ripped off or miss reimbursement because of it. The only people I think that should be offended by it are the ones ruining it for all of us with their misuse and overall abuse of coupons. The show isn't helping either.

        • sandi

i agree that it is fine to make sure the coupons are correct, But my point to Publix was the cashier took an additional ten minutes after my groceries had been scanned. I purchased 36 items and it took 10 minutes for her to analyze my coupons and she called a mgr on two seperate issues. One was she would not take the 5 off 2 zantac store coupon because she had already used a manufacturer coupon. If the cashiers are expected to double check the coupons they should teach them how to do it, without making a big deal about it. This morning I went for four bic shavers and a soda. ( to a different Publix) The cashier reads the coupon and tells me the coupon says one per customer, and refuses to take them off, even after I explained that it said one coupon per item per customer, nothing dishonest about either times I shopped but both times I was embarassed and treated like some sort of criminal, I am all for them double checking the order. I agree we all pay for coupon fraud in the long run. But, the cashiers should be taught how to handle an order with a lot of coupons and should at least know about store coupons and manufacturer coupons. It isn't fair to the cashiers because they end up getting frustrated with having to call for help and it surely isn't right to keep customers (me and two in line behind me) waiting because we all end up getting frustrated for 36 items.

          • CCShad

I agree with you. There must be a way to have coupons scanned more efficiently. The ice cream will melt while the cashiers are scrutinizing each coupon!
There is one cashier at my store who spends so much time analyzing coupons, that he forgets to enter values for my B1G1 and free coupons. And he really huffs and puffs when I point that out!

            • sharrona

Actually Publix is a little behind the times, but they are updating their system and soon the register will know what coupons are good and which are not

          • It sounds to me like she is new, and wanted to be safe. If she wasn't new, she would have known she could take store and mfc q's.

          • cedenf

This happened to me in a Savannah Publix recently. I was questioned about each item, each q. I had to hold up each item before she would scan any items as she matched them up with the coupons. I was OK with that part but then after she had checked them all in the beginning, she questioned many again at the end as she was scanning each of them! I had to several times pull items out of my bags in the cart to prove I had purchased them. AFTER we had done it at the beginning. And mine were all fine, I am VERY careful about matching them up correctly and yes, I also felt like a criminal. She also yelled loudly at everyone behind me that they should go to other lines b/c I had coupons. Was dying to leave the store!

            • LindsayL

WOW! Did you get her name? I would definitely march back in there and talk to management pronto. I've never had an issue quite like that. You should not be treated that way. I'm sure a manager would be happy to talk to you about it.

            • Cedenf

Thanks- I just wanted to get out. I could feel my face turning red and was just so embarrassed I didn’t want to stay any longer. I did get her name in case I decide to say something to management the next time I am there. I will say I have been couponing a full year now and most cashiers are very nice. This is the only time this has happened.

    • mommyof1

i have checked the boxes i wish to print.. how do i print them out? haha.. am i just missing something!? (sorry, its late!)

      • mommyof1

        nevermind.. it popped up! =)

    • Awaugh88

Love publix!! Thanks for all the great deals, Total savings tonight was $101.89. Spent $77.

    • Awaugh88

I'm just curious, I didn't see thje .50 cents off suave naturals in the green advantage flyer at my publix. Did anyone else also have this issue??

      • Jennifer

Neither do I. Maybe it's a regional thing. I'm in TN

        • Thehovites

          It's in GA either

          • Thehovites

NOT in GA,,,, keyboard problems. sorry.

            • Airheart50

              Not in Bradenton, Fl either

      • Lovelola007

I think because it wasn't in their last GA flyer it was in the one before that and the coupons in it don't expire until the 6th of may…I'm pretty sure

    • ponygirl19

OKAY… I admit it… I got FRUSTRATED tonight at Publix ! I went in with a coupon for ” ONE FREE BOX OF AJ Waffles (company coupon) They had them BOGO…. They wanted me to get $1.19 credit for the coupon and then pay $1.20 for the other…. I argued that I should be given credit for the FULL price…BOTH before BOGO (coupon up to $2.99) ! The young lady at register said she would have to call Manager… I agreed…. she did… he agreed w her… I was upset… let waffles and took my coupon…..I got down the street and called the store… I got the “Manager”… he agreed w me and actually said “that isn't rocket science.” I went back and got both for FREE !! As a Matter of FACT… the coupon did not require Publix to fill in a price so Publix was actually going to make 60 cents on my coupon !

I am still new to coupon-ing but I knew I was right. My point… watch your coupons and their values !!!

      • Ipreferpublix

If you live in FLa with true bogo, then you're right, but if you live in a state where items ring up half price, then actually, no, you are wrong. The items each ring up half price, so a “free” coupon only takes off half of the price of one, giving you two for the price of half of one, instead of two items free. It's one of the drawbacks of not being in “true bogo” area.

However, most of us in the area where it's really a 50% off sale, and not a bogo sale, get doubles, whereas Fla stores do not, so it's a wash.

        • EWags

Actually, the stores in SC ring up at half-price but they are advertised as BOGO so if you (nicely) argue your point when the cashiers and managers refuse, the corporate policy is to give the full price of the product. IF they advertised as half price, they would have a leg to stand on.

          • sharrona

your an idiot to argue that, 1/2 off each item is BOGO and for you to argue with someone to rip off the store to get something wlse for free makes you an even bigger idiot!! The Bogo is off regular price

      • STFU

Why are ALL of your posts about something you can't get, find or have? You really come across as demanding, selfish and greedy. You have added absoultly nothing positive to this site. You talk about screaming at people, bullying your cashiers and how ticked off and frustrated you are. Perhaps your attitude could use some tuning up. You will miss deals, you will not always find the coupons you need, there will be regional sales and coupons. Calm down, the deals come back. You don't need to always be so harsh and aggressive. The “Big miss on Gade candles”above… (IP's match) REALLY? You sense of entitlement I'm sure is overwhelming to your poor cashiers. I'm only saying this so you can see the big picture. Just sayin'……….

    • Tcurbyjunkmail

the playtex bogo deal listed on here says if you use the 2.50off coupon its free, ..thats not adding up to me since the coupon says its 2.50 off two boxes and your paying 2.14 for each box which would be a total of 4.29 so is that a misprint or am i not understanding something? i have the coupons and want to get it for free lol

      • Awaugh88

Hey, I also noticed this about the playtex bogo. I saw it and thought something didn't add up correctly because it's not 100 percent free.

      • Abbielou02

Jenny says that there is a 2.50 off 1 coupon in the RR 3/20. Well I searched all the coupon data bases and all I could find were the 2/2.50. So I'm not sure where she found the 2.50/1

      • Dbisho13

I did not find the 2.50 coupon either but in The all you mag there is a 3/2 and pair with walgreens 1.00 of one and the tampons are free with overage. HTH.

      • CCShad

the coupons in newspaper booklets vary from region to region, some people got the $2.50/1 and others got the $2.50/2. She was referring to the $2.50/1 to get it free, but you can also get it free if your store lets you use Walgreens coupons with that man. $2.50/2.

      • Charlenemarie25

in walgreen they had a april 20th savings book that had a walgreens $1.00 of playtex that you can combine with the manufacturers $2.50 off 2 boxes, also there was a 2.50 of one box coupon which i didnt get either

    • guest

It would have been nice to know that Glade candle were Bogo this week…BIG miss on that one.

      • Martin

ummmm…it is posted in this ad. with a HUGE list of coupon match ups.

        • guest

ummmmmmmmmmm…no, just the plug-ins are. the jar candles are also bogo.

          • Jackie

If you can do it on your own and don't worry about what the rest of us are learning from Jenny. I personally am great-full for all she does. You should be also if she misses something she ask anyone to feel free to post. Stop your bitching about something being missed and just add it, OMG!!!!!

          • Val

Jenny gets her prices and sale information from the store advertisement. In my ad there is no mention of Glade candles as Bogo just the scented oil refills. This is why it's helpful to check the Unadvertised Publix deals. Someone mentioned it there in the comments.

          • Perhaps you can start your own website where you spend hours scouring ads post deals for people, without being paid, and never, ever miss things.

      • Amanda

I would caution you as to how you post things. Your post sounded rather ungrateful. If you think you have found something additional, try posting it as such.

      • Sewingmom2

Why don’t you check the Publix ad on line so you can see what is on sale. It was a 10 day ad this time because of Easter and everyone had plenty of time to check and see what was on sale. I am so thankful for all the time that is put into this site and all the help I get from the information here

    • Bessyone

where do you get the Advantage yellow/green flyers

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Either just inside the door with the weekly ad, or at your customer service desk.

    • tmg

Went to get the Tyson and had the coupon listed above $1/1 Tyson breaded Chicken Strips….they are NOT part of the B1G1 and can not use them for any other Tyson…why is it listed that it can be used when it cant and when its not in their flyer as part of the sale…this happens alot…thanks

      • Sandy

I think she includes them just in case they are part of the deal. When things are listed for sale in the ad it often says, “assorted varieties” so, she doesn't know exactly what is included. I always check my ad before going out to see if there's any additional sales SS hasn't included because every ad isn't the same. Keep the coupon for an upcoming sale– who knows maybe the coupon won't be available to print then, but lucky for you, you will have one in your stash. =)

    • darbe

OMG, so frustated in palm bay fl-went to my normal publix, attempted to use BJ's coupons but today they changed the policy and will now only allow the largest size item for that coupon. So frustrating because the largest size item is not usually what goes on sale! They did not post any notices or document any changes to coupon policy, so just frustrated while trying to check out.

      • Prsol

The best you can do, especially if your store changes policies often, is to call ahead and prepare for the trip. That way you don't get surprises.
You may also start going directly to the Store Manager and make a point about how their ever changing policies are affecting the customer. Perhaps he/she will get the message and make a point to be more consistent with their coupon policy for the sake of customers and fair business. :-)

      • Sewingmom2

My Publix has never accepted BJ’s coupons and have stopped accepting any competitors coupons except Kroger.

    • Elizabeth M.

      Question about the Charmin deal….
Can I use a coupon for an item I'm getting free? At first I would say no (like last night when I bought the Voskos greek yogurt…I used the B2G1 free Q's but didn't use any coupons for the “free” ones.
But thinking about the Charmin deal, I have the Target Q $2.50 off WYB both…a Target Q for $1/1 Charmin TP, a Manuf. Q for $1/1 Charmin TP, the Publix Q for BO Charmin TP GO Charmin Freshmates Free. I also have a Manuf. Q for $1/1 Charmin Freshmates… can I use that too?
I would say no to using a coupon on a free item…but they allow it with their BOGO deals all the time…Just wondering your thoughts! Thanks!

      • itismedia

Yes, you should be able to because the BOGO coupon is a Target coupon and the 1.00/1 is a manufacture coupon and Publix allows you to stack this way. I am not sure about the other part of your deal though.

        Is this right…
1 Target coupon for 2.50/2 TP
1 Target coupon or 1.00/1 TP
1 Man. coupon for 1.00/1 TP
1 Publix coupon for BOGO (TP/Freshmates)

If you are buying two TP's then you can use the 2.50/2 and the 1.00/1 man. (two if you have another), but not the other target coupon. You can also use the BOGO. It all looks right except switch the Target 1/1 for a second manufacture 1/1

        Make sense? =+)~

    • itismedia

Savannah Shoppers – Check your Penny Saver. There is a 5.00/30.00 purchase from Publix in it today. =+)

    • Sds_30

Does anyone know if the Dole fruit jars are included in the sale for Dole fruit priced at $2.00? TIA?

    • For those of you unable to print the Sominex q's, there will be a $1 off coupon in this Sunday's RP.

    • Kkbrobst

OK HUGE Kuddos to A Publix Manager!! I emailed Publix Corp because I wanted to know if they were ever going to accpet recyclebank coupons and mentioned my trip to a couple Publix stores and was told I could not use them. Today i got 2 phone calls from 2 different Publix Stores and one of them was an excellent conversation!! The manger is really trying hard to educate himself on couponing so that he can better serve his customers. he is reading the coupon sites like this one and is so helpful and really works with his customers in making this couponing a great experience. His name is David and he is the manager of the Publix on Toledo Blade in North Port, FL. I highly reccomend this Publix to anyone.
Just keep in mind everyhone, HONESTY is always the best policy. The manager did mention that couponing is killing some stores when you get a lot of fraudulant Q's and couponers trying to get away with more than they are suposed to. Be honest and all will be so much better for us and the stores we shop. I LOVE Publix and it is the only place I shop because of the great coupon policy. I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart as soon as I discovered how to do couponing. I very rarely even go to Wal-mart or any other grocery store anymore now. My baby loves getting the free cookie and My other kids (me included) love the sample meals that they cook. It is really a fun experience going to Publix.

Ok, getting off my soapbox. :D Seriously love couponing but please everyone do what is right and coupon policies will not have to be so strict. :D

    • LJ

Bounty Paper Towels – on the bottom there is an insert with $30 worth of coupons (that expire 4/2013). Had no idea until I dropped them, and saw it! :)

      • Sue

Could you list them for us to see if they are unique or run of the mill?
Thank you so much in advance.

        • LJ

          they are inside the packaging…
          .50 / Mr. Clean spray
          .50 / Cascade pacs
          $1.00 / Dawn
          $1.00 / Head & Shoulders
          $1.00 Pantene Styping
          $1.00 / Bounce Bar
          $1.00 Charmin Freshmates
          $1.00 Charmin
          $1.00 Pepto
          The rest I tossed…. (but I remember)
          $10.00 Electric Razor
          Gilette Body Wash
          Align

      • edie

is the insert inside the bounty package?

    • Andrea

I've looked all through April All You, i can't find the hunts Q!!!

      • I looked through it about a 100 times and couldn't find it, either.

        • Johnella29

Just a little FYI, in All You, there is a coupon listing with manufacture and page number at the front of the book, so you won't have to sift through every page :) Also, I agree about the newsstand thing. When we subscribed, we did so thinking that we would be getting the SAME magazine we seen on the shelves at the store. IMHO this is false advertising or misleading at best . You will not get the exact same coupons from the subscription as you do in the newsstand version. Who does that?

          • Talkative19

you can call All You and request for the extra coupons to be put in your subsrcription. I did this a couple of months ago, and they were in my next issue. HTH.

      • armywife74

It was a special insert in the news stand version only, it was on card stock type paper in the middle. I find it annoying that all you does this to the subscribers. But it happens at least every other month if not more.

      • Mckee_carrie

        me either

    • Padenash

There was still some Spring Family Gatherings at my publix last night, if anyone still has not been able to get one, I can mail you one. E-mail me at padenash@gmail.com

    • Lilli

Does anyone know if there is a special zip code for the Voskos coupon on coupons.com? We go through those yogurts like crazy around here, so I love being able to stock up on as many as I can whenever I can. I have already printed the ones from facebook and from the Voskos site, but I can’t find anything on coupons.com

    • Corie30290

How do I get the publix store coupons to print larger so the cashier can read the code?

    • Jmo24849

Has anyone been told that Publix will no longer be taking competitor coupons after this month?

      • Lee

I was told that yesterday. They said as of June 1 Publix will no longer accept competitor coupons.

        • kristyi

Wow…my store just started taking Target coupons March 28,2011.

      • Barwood07

Here is Charleston, my store is only dropping Target from their competitor list. They will still take other grocery stores coupons in our area. I would ask your store.

    • Eamullens

where and what is a tearpad coupon

      • Danyeln

Sometimes there will be a pad of coupons stuck to a shelf or more likely a cardboard display. Each coupon tears off like a notepad thus “Tearpad” They are very hit or miss. Usually by the time they match up to a sale they are no longer in the stores so pick up a couple any time you see them.

    • LMD

I am pretty new to this website , I saved $86 last week at Publix and $63 this week. Thank you so much to Jenny and all of you for helping out with savings, it is truly appreciated! I wanted to share that the checkout person today was very angry with the amount of coupons I had and mentioned that in two weeks Publix would be announcing on TV that they are changing their policies due to 'us extreme couponers'. Just wanted to share…

      • Lee

I had kinda the same experience at Publix yesterday. Every time I have gone there in past several weeks, they have changed their policy. The cashier wasn't as friendly to me as they usually are and the woman bagging my groceries decided to take it upon herself to make me feel like dirt!!! I am not an extreme couponer, I am just trying to feed my family.

        • Jmo24849

thats exactly what happend to me! the lady acted like i was stealing out of her purse! i was not clearing shelves!!! i love publix…but if they are going to give me a hard time..i will just take their add over to walmart (as much as i hate shopping there).

        • MI

The people working at my Publix are horrible. I am not an extreme coupon person, but I do go in every week with about $30 in coupons. They treat my like a crook. They roll their eyes when they have to ring me up. I just ignore it and think to myself, go ahead get angry. I just saved the amount that you are going to earn working an 8 hour shift today. Ha-ha! I get to go home now and lay by the pool.

      • LJ

i find if i go to a young guy as the cashier, they never make a big deal about the coupons.

        • Lucy2778

LOL same here. I'm so lucky to go to Publix that's next to a major university, so all employees are young students. They are very friendly and never give me trouble.

    • sandi

I decided what I was going to do next time I shop at Publix. I am going to bring a roll of tape with me and tape each coupon to each item before I put it in the cart. Maybe I will get out of the store faster. What has me so upset about this is, generally I only get two of each item or one deal, and I don't use competitors coupons. Its' not like I am wiping out their shelves or trying to get 600.00 worth of groceries for free nor am I being dishonest or fraudelent. I am straight up only using their store coupons and mfg coupons. Why are they making a big deal about my purchases?

      • Danyeln

Sadly for evey 20 – 30 – 50 (Maybe even 100's) of us doing it right and by the book there is ONE person out there trying to cheat the system. They are after the clerks to not acept any bad coupons or allow any for the wrong item so they must scrutinize everyone in order to catch the few who are cheating. It does suck up a lot of time but I know I am doing nothing wrong so they can stare at them all day long.

      • Veganpadua

staring and smiling is my m.o. i have my fav cashiers but when they are not there, i have decided not to expect friendliness and i won't be disappointed. this doesn't mean i don't ever have friendly cashiers (sometimes i do, sometimes i don't) and i always model polite behaviors but i really am there to just get my groceries, use my coupons and go home to my family. I try not to let anyone “rent space in my head” :)

    • Kmclem99

Can someone please help I have a question I'm new to this at at publix they have the bic soleil buy 1 get one free. I have 4 coupons for $3.00 off. Will I get 4 of them free. Thank you in advance

      • Johnella29

It would depend on the price of one. Publix curbside has them listed at $5.49 (2.74). So for 4 of them you would pay $ 10.98 use 4 $3/1 q's if your store allows overage, you will profit $1.02

    • Kmclem99

I have another question publix has juicy juice for buy one get one free i have a coupon buy 4 and get 2.00 off. They are onsale for $3.99. I'm not sure what i do here

      • Danyeln

You will get 4 (to satisfy the coupon) You will pay 7.98 – 2.00 = 5.98 (1.50 each). Even though 2 of them are “free” from the store you are still getting enough to satisfy the coupon requirements. HTH

      • Christina

You buy 4 for a total of 7.98 and use your coupon for 2.00 off and it will make all 4 of them 5.98 total…pretty good deal!! I used that exact coupon!

        • Themartins55

I did the same. I had 4 of them. I stocked up on juice !! (p.s.-not for hoarding purposes – only for my 5 kids that will go through it in a couple of months) :)

    • Kmclem99

quick question If I have a 4 buy one get one free coupons on fixadent and the maxiimum value is 6.49 if I use all four coupons does that mean. I get all four of them for free.

    • Coolfl33

      Jenny,
There is a Free Publix Large Eggs (1 dozen)
      When you buy TWO (2)
      Sargento Shredded Cheese
Coupon in the Spring Family Gatherings Booklet to go along with the Sargento Deal You have listed.

      • itismedia

Ooh! I forgot about this! Thanks!!!! =+)

    • Kim

      Can I do the following:

      Buy 6-roll Bounty Paper Towels
      Buy 200 ct. Bounty Napkins

Use -$.25 off one Bounty Towels or Napkins (manufacturer coupon)
-$1 off 6 pk or larger Bounty paper towels (Target coupon) AND
-Get a FREE 200 ct. Napkin when you buy any 6-roll or larger Bounty (Publix coupon)

I wasn’t sure if the Publix coupon attached to both items, or if I could use another store (competitor) coupon for one of the items. My store doesn’t allow me to stack a store and competitor coupon.

      Thanks!

      • JOhn

I'm not sure, Kim, but you sure are cute!

        (I'm her husband, so… ;o) )

        • Marycolbert

          Y'all made me laugh :)

        • Veganpadua

          LOL!

      • Sandy

This is probably going to be up to the discretion of your store manager, but it looks good to me! The Publix coupon is for the napkins, the Target coupons is for the paper towels so, you aren't double dipping in my opinion. :)

        • Kim

Thank you! That's very helpful! :)

        • Legs

Unless your Publix is close to Target (which means they consider them a competitor) Publix no longer accepts Target coupons. Only Kroger, Harris Teeter, Ingles…etc. So basically it is at the discretion of each store. All you can do is ask :-)

    • Becky

I'm kind of new to this. :-O If I have a coupon that I got out of a Publix yellow flyer,
but it has Manufacturer's Coupon on it, but it redeemable only at Publix, is it a store coupon or a Manufacturer's Coupon? Thanks!

      • Which Coupon are you talking about… If it doesn't have a bar code andhas a LU# it's a store coupon.

    • Lstuart97

The purina cat food coupon was not in SS 4/17.

    • Melinda

      zip code for gentlease??

      • crystal

        30011

    • Linda3

Has anyone encountered Publix taking their $5.00 coupon off only AFTER all other coupons, not before? They say in Thomasville, GA that it is their corporate policy.

      • sharrona

whats the difference? $5 is $5 no matter how you take it off

        • Sb

That's not corporate policy. They are just making things u

The difference is her total may be below $30 after coupons so, she wouldn't be able to use the total purchase coupon.

Do you have another Publix you could go to Linda? If not, I'd call customer service or speak to the manager for clarification.

          • Just becuz you use coupons doesn't matter cuz the store is still getting that money so they are sooo wrong.. Definitly call!!!

            • Linda3

You certainly have a point. That explains why I feel it is not right. They will be paid for all of the coupons except any competitor ones. I do try and prefer to go to two other Publix stores, but they are an hour away and this one is about 35 minutes away. It would be nice to be able to go to this one. On the days that I work, it is out of the question to go to the hour-away ones because it takes an hour to get there and an hour to get back and I work from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. I think I will call the corporate office and see what they say. They may leave it all up the the store. I don't know. At least you enlightened me as to why I feel it is not right and now I know what to state my reason is. Thanks so much.

            • donna

They do not get reimbursed for their own Publix store coupon.

            • I was talking about the reg. Coupons, That's why it should matter …
So to the store the order it still over thirty becuz they get the money back +$.8 per coupon

          • Sewingmom2

the coupon policy is up to the mananger of the store, no corporate policy. It is good to call all the publix stores in your area to see what their policys are.

      • CCShad

My store takes the $5 off $30 BEFORE coupons. The coupon does not say otherwise. My same store takes the Harris Teeter $10 off $40 AFTER coupons b/c of the wording on that particular coupon. I would use it at another Publix if you are able.

      • Caretwins24

Hi Linda, I went to Publix last week and they took my $5.00 coupon off first in Thomasville. It might just depend on the cashier, I would just ask for the manager if you have to .

        • Jatonyap

Depending on the cashier I hand them one coupon at a time and start with tihe 5$ off coupon I also watch the screen closely because if and item rings up wrong price it is FREE.

          • publixcashier

As a publix cashier I will say handing us coupon one by one makes us feel like you think we are all idiots. Just because we work at a grocery store doesn't mean we don't know how to do simple tasks. There is a screen there for you to look at so you can see that we are ringing up everything correctly.

            • Pamela

True, and how is doing that any different from us as cashiers scanning your items then checking to make sure you bought the item before just blowing through your stack of coupons.  I works both ways.  All in all, we're all on the same page, no one wants to get cheated.  So lets all play nice.

      • Ava

I had the same issue in Thomasville. One day it worked fine and the next time they wouldn't take it. It was kind of frustrating because I bought a few things that day to make sure that I was at $30. They are usually very good about coupons at this store and this is the first time I've ever had any issue.

    • Dawn

Is soleil razors part of b1g1 free deal, I got 3.00 off coupons in my paper this morning. Thank you

      • kristin

        yes they are included

        • JoshuaGriffing

Where was this in your Paper?

          • Lovelola007

Florida sucks! We NEVER get any of the really good high value coupons AND none of our stores double coupons! WTF? I'm moving…

      • Sewingmom2

My publix was out of the soleil razors in the front display and when I tried to get a rain check, I was told that there were some in a basket in the toiletry aisle. Since I had already paid for my other groceries, I had the razors by themselves. The cash register would not accept my third coupon until I purchased another item that made my total purchase more than the $9 in coupons. I then paid the $1.25 tax and was happy to get over $15 in razors and a package of candy for $1.25

    • susank

When you state the price, example: Ziplock $2.19, .50/1 makes it $1.19 – are you counting on the store doubling the coupon value? I look at the price and get excited and then realize, my Pulbix does not give double value. Thanks for the clarification for me!

Yes, that's what she does. Jenny (this blog's author) lives in an area that doubles, as do many (if not most) of the people who read the blog. I'm sorry that it gives you false hope sometimes. I think most people just learn to adjust the price in their head. It seems that there are some perks to living in an area that doesn't double– some deals are actually better (you'll have to ask or read up on it, I'm not sure of all the differences). It can be a challenge at first, but all the hassle is worth the reward! :)

    • Smaldone5

could not find the stocking free booklet in the store..where do i get it??

      • Val

It's no longer available. It was something you had to request weeks ago.

    • Smaldone5

went ot buy cologate toothbrush and toothpaste today and I had 3 manufacturers coupons for each item so I could get the price down to .50 like mentioned above..the cashier told me I can use only one manufacturers coupon plus a pulbix coupon per item…is that true??

      • Bigdawg7000

yes you match a “store/competitor's coupon” with “manufacture” coupon, to stack the coupons to save or get products free.

      • Up above is not saying you can use all 3 coupon it is just a list of Coupons out there right now. Go to CVS this week and Get your Colgate for free ..

      • Lovelola007

you can use 1 store coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon on EACH item. You can't use 2 store coupons or 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item, just 1 manufacturer and 1 store.

      • itismedia

        Smaldone,
Do you live in Florida? Florida does not double coupons. Where Jenny is at and in my area the Publix stores double coupons up to .50 so a .50 coupon will be worth 1.00. The toothbrushes were on sale 2/3.00 or 1.50 each. One .50 coupon will bring the price down to the .50 Jenny listed. When she list an item and then several coupons beneath it it is not suggesting you use all of those coupons. She is just listing the various coupons that are available at this time. You may or may not have all of them as coupons do vary by region.
Publix allows one store coupon and one manufacture coupon per item
        OR
one competitor (check your store to see who they consider competitors) and one manufacture.
are also some stores that allow one manufacture, one store and one competitor coupon per item. Again, you will have to check with your store to see if they allow this.
        I hope this helps!

      Please help :-)

I am having a hard time figuring this all out and maximizing my savings. I got three questions and I would like to hear from a lot of different people ….

      1) when I see something on the list, do I try to find all of the coupons below both S and M are beside them or just one?

      2) how do I know when publix has the prices at the lowest price?

      3) When I see a coupon in the paper should I not buy it until I see that same item on the website? Or is it safe to buy just because I have a coupon?

Thank you for helping, I hope the responses help others in my same situation.. I NEED SEVERAL PEOPLE TO RESPOND TO GUAGE THE BEST PRACTICES

      • Ljreynolds89

        Hi Nikki!!!
        1) S = store and M = manufacturer. What is listed under each item is EVERY possible coupon that Jenny knows of. To maximize savings you need to have one manufacturer and one store per item and try to find the highest amount coupon. Example scenerio: Bounty paper towels-6.99 and bounty napkins-2.99 If you have them, you would use 1.00 manufacturer off bounty paper towels, 1.00 manufacter off bounty napkins, and free bounty napkins when you buy paper towels publix coupon. Also, 1.00 off of 1 item gives you more money than 1.00 off two items.
        2) All of the lists and coupon matchups are listed at good prices. If you look in your ad there may be items not listed on the website because they are not a worthwhile price. Most couponers suggest keeping a journal with prices but I don't have time to do that. If it looks like a good price, I'll buy it.
        3) I try to wait for an item with a coupon to be on sale before I buy it but coupons expire quickly so if the coupon is a high value and one that you do not see often and an item that you use, I suggest you buy it. But don't buy the item the same week the coupon comes out unless the item is currently on sale. Wait a few weeks. If it doesn't go on sale, buy it before the coupon expires.
        I hope this helps!!!

Perfect answer! I know Nikki asked for answers from several people but I don't know how anyone could have answered her question any better.

Found an awesome deal for the ladies….they have 20 count always ultra thin panty liners for 1.19, and if you use a 1.00 mfr cpn and a .75 store cpn makes it free + profit.

    • Themartins55

Went to my inverness Fl. publix today. Tried to use my Bic razor Qs. Only had two. Manger told me i could not use them with any other offer. B.O.G.O. I live 5 min. from store but have to drive 45min. to another publix.

      • Ruff Sonia

That's exactly why we need a corporate policy that applies to ALL stores so they can't make up their own rules as they go.(hey sis…Love ya.)

      • Shastalee1977

what store did you go to after Inverness I went to the inverness store today too and they told me the same thing I was thinking of going to the one in crystal river

        • Veganpadua

did u end up going to crystal river? i think the one in beverly something might be closer for me

          • Shastalee1977

I'm gonna try the one in Beverly hills first as it is not as far of a drive if u make it there before me let me know how it goes. Also wanted to let u know other people have told me they didn't have a problem using the coupons at the Crystal river publix

      • Veganpadua

haha small couponing world! i too went to inverness publix today and tried to buy 2 razors w/ 2 q's – no go. however, i did have 2 bogo pace picantes w/ a 60/2 q that i was able to use. my 2 kids were ready to go so i didnt get further clarification but i am wondering if it is because there would have been overage and the employees were specifically told not to allow the 2 qs w/ bic product or new policy w/ any bogo?

Tanya – What part of Florida are you in? Have you found any stores that double?

I just left my favorite Publix in Simpsonville, SC and had a very sad conversation with the store manager. Due to all the extreme couponing they were completely out of their green and yellow advantage ads. He said people were wiping them out and telling him they were going to be re-selling the product! Due to people like this Publix will be forced to change their policies. It's such a shame when so many of us only coupon to feed our families and now thanks to 1 TV show we will be losing so much.

      • Janna

Maybe they will just start keeping them behind customer service. That's what they have done for a few years at my location. It works well, you just walk up and ask for one – that way everyone has a chance. Instead of HOARDERS!!

        • Elli

And at my publix in the atlanta area, you can just use one publix coupon from the flyers and they'll write the qty on it and stick in their envelope! so you really only need one if they'll do that!

      • I've noticed at Five Forks they were low as well

    • apublixcashier

I just want to say a few things after reading some of these posts. I am a publix cashier in SC. These posts make me feel like I am at work all over again. Just because we are “just” cashiers at a grocery store does not make us stupid. We are human beings that follow rules we are given by our managers. So why is it that you give us the third degree if we can't take one 35 cent coupon?! We work there we know the coupon rules. We think its great that you want to save money because believe me we do the same, but its not the end of the world if we can't take an expired coupon or some random stores competitors coupon. And furthermore you don't realize in a days time how many coupons we have to look at and make sure you are not one of the coupon scammers that comes through our line on a daily basis. I am never intentionally rude to anyone whenever I am working even if they do treat me like crap….its my job I have to take it and still be nice…but to the people that are rude…what is your problem? Would you enjoy being treated that way?!! Please start being a little more understanding, nicer, and honest. That could go a long way with how coupons are dealt with. We are not out to get you, we are simply following rules that we are given and if we don't follow those rules we could lose our job. Thanks and thanks for shopping at publix ….where shopping is a pleasure!!! :)

      • I think the majority, if not all, of these people who are upset, are upset because we're not being allowed to use coupons correctly.

I'm glad that you know the rules but a lot simply do not. I've not seen anyone here on this forum, get upset because they were not allowed to break rule, or use an expired coupon.

Most of the frustration comes from Publix not having a set policy, and it depending on which manager happens to be working at the time. it's the inconsistencies that people upset over.

        • apublixcashier

Our coupon policies are changing constantly because of people trying to take advantage of publix. That's not our fault. I can't speak for all the publix's out there but I can speak for mine. Everyone there has a good understanding and knows the rules because our managers do everything they can to make sure we all do. If we do have to ask about a coupon from time to time that doesn't mean we don't know what we are doing its the fact that it keeps changing and sometimes it can be confusing. And most of the time I ask about a coupon I already know what the answer is going to be. I simply ask so I am not the bad guy and to make the customer happy(by asking). You can usually tell who is going to give you a hard time.

          • So what you're saying is this –
If we have an experience with a cashier who ISNT doing their job right, we're rude to be cautious other cashiers might make a mistake.
If the cashiers are sometimes confused, you have to expect the customers to also be confused. This does not mean we think you're stupid, this means you and I are both victims of people taking advantage of the system.

I wouldn't take it so personally, honestly. If I don't know you well, and I've been burned before by cashiers not taking coupons correctly, I'm going to be cautious with you, end of story. it has nothing to do with you, it has everything to do with past experiences or policy changing, which is also NOT MY FAULT, either.

Just today, I was in Publix and had a new cashier. For some reason, some of my coupons were being finicky and wouldn't scan. He didn't even tell me. He just sat them off to the side, and gave me my total and had zero intention of telling me there was a problem. So just because you know the policy and do things right, does not mean they all do so yes, I'm going to be extra careful, and since I don't know you personally, there is a chance I would end up in your line, watching you like a hawk, too.

            • apublixcashier

That is not what I am saying at all. I have gotten customers that have actually come behind my counter and watched my screen. I have also gotten customers that have yelled at me because in the end the total isn't what they have figured it out to be and then have to go over each individual line with them so they know I did my job. Both of those I consider rude. There are many many other stories I could tell. There is being cautious and obsessive. There are screens there that you can watch to see each individual coupon scanned. If people are so scared of us not scanning their coupons why don't they count their coupons before hand and just count along while looking at their screen while we scan the coupons? Thats the main reason why I always wait till the end of the order to scan the coupons.

It is not being cautious that I am talking about. Its the fact that we get treated like dirt day in and day out. My main point really doesn't have to do with coupons at all. It has to do with how cashiers are treated in general really. The way we get treated by some people is ridiculous. And I would never be able to treat a single person they way we are treated sometimes. It could be because of coupons, couldn't find an item, or whatever random reason…I just think that people should be nicer and know whatever it is we will try to fix it if we can. So why be mean to us?

            • 2ndPublixCashier

              I'll vouch for this.

There are people who decide that if something goes wrong with the order, its the cashier's fault. If something rings up wrong, they blame us. Then when we try to fix it, get more angry because we follow the procedures to do so (have bagger check prices, call CS to our register, etc). Then there are those who try to pull one over on us, then get angry when we're NOT stupid and block it. Ive had customers try to have me fired for not taking their coupons and doing my job. I remember the nasty ones, and while I'll do my job, the heck if I'll help you any further than that. Be nice, and I'll point you to deals you wouldnt know about and help you any way I can think of.
I'll simply say this…keep in mind the people that get stepped on are often the ones in charge of something you want.

@ my fellow cashier- Ive had people TRY to come behind my counter…However, there is a point where I will back them up a few feet and away from my till if they get too close…as in within reaching distance, or quick-moving reaching distance. Dont let *anyone* bully you. That register is your responsibility, and part of our job is to guard it.

            • Ok First of all I want to say at my Publix I always have a great happy staff no matter what line or cashier I get.(Five Forks SC) I do go by the “rules”. And my store always loves to see how much I save…
Buttttt I do have to say there is another store near me (Mauldin SC) I will never go to because the cashiers are very rude…. Example I bought 5 bags of dog food and I got a 5 min lecture from 3 cashiers of how I got to much and didn't leave enough for the rest , really?
You have to realize that when a “Couponer” walks in a store with our binders we almost automatically get dirty looks, EVERY WHERE we go… So understand us also. As you might get an attitude sometimes from Customers coming through your line we get an Attitude 98% of the time from EVERY cashier we encounter…. But yet we are the wrong ones when we question something…

            • Clarissa

I love shopping at Publix and have NEVER once had a rude cashier. I absolutely LOVE shopping there. Whenever a cashier has had a question with my coupon usage, I always explain by being polite and encouraging the cashier to ask a manager if they are unsure. I don't want them to feel as if I'm going to get them into trouble. And honestly, making someone feel like a horrible person for what a few bucks? isn't worth it to me. I think sometimes people forget that they can get their point across without being total jerks. A little courtesy and kindness and humility can go a long way.

          • Gatorginger

I would like to take this to apologize to yo apublix for any rudeness you may have experienced. Most couponers aren't rude but I am sure there are a few, but sometimes we get frustrated because not all publix has the same rules and it can be frustrating at times. We do appreciate all your hard work and patience

        • apublixcashier

I know they try their best to educate all managers on the coupon policies as well but the one fact I don't think many customers understand is not all managers work in the customer service department. So when “a” manager is called it could be the grocery manager, assistant store manager, or store manager. Those managers don't work in customer service on a daily basis. If you want the answers to be consistent you should be asking the customer service or assistant customer service managers. They are the ones that are in charge of coupons. Like I said they try to educate them all but when they work in another dept its hard for them keep everything straight when the policies are constantly changing like I said.

          • I get what you are saying, really. But I just meant you that when I watch cashiers like a hark, I don't think they're stupid. Its because I've had them make mistakes before, so I'm careful and its no reflection on them. I don't automatically assume a cashier is stupid. I do, however assume that policy has changed, yet again, and I need to keep a very close eye on things.

        • What I see is that we have a wonderful grocery chain, Publix, being eaten alive by “extreme couponing”. When you have such a terrific store working so hard to satisfy customers I don't think we should complain. No matter what the couponing rules do we will still have some great BOGO deals. We don't need to purchase $200 worth of groceries for $20. It is fantastic that we can buy $200 for $100 or less. Let's be happy with what we have and keep a great chain in business. (I do not work at Publix, but a similar great chain went out of business in my hometown and everyone is very excited about Publix coming to our city.)

          • I was not complaining, I was telling Publixcashier that it likely wasn't a personal attack on her, but more likely a downside of things extreme couponers are doing.

    • Rosieharv1

Help !! I cannot print smart source coupons. Several of you suggested using another browser and I have tried several but none of them are working. I have Active X and Java so I can't figure it out. Does anyone else have this same problem. I am missing out on so many good coupons.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

    • Rae

When will the new add be posted for 5/4

      • Carissa

Jenny doesn't post the new ad until Wednesday when the sale starts (in some areas.)

    • So this may not be publix related –

I need peanut butter. I am completely out and have been for weeks. I have a bunch of peter pan coupons but can't find a PP deal anywhere. Any suggestions?

      • itismedia

Kay, I searched Jenny's database (Top right of page) and the only peanut butter I could find is Jif. The 40oz size is going on sale at Publix starting 5/4 or 5/5 (depending on your location) for 3.99. This is about .10 an ounce and while not awesome it isn't horrible and may hold you over until there is a Peter Pan sale somewhere. HTH

    • Kira

      to publix cashiers:

I just started couponing, and yes, it makes sense to “stock up” but in all honesty, I can make it without stocking up, and I tend to buy only what we will use and eat within a couple weeks to a month (unless the items last longer, like cleaning products etc). I LOVE shopping at Publix…EVERYONE is so nice and helpful, and I know it's your job, but even so, I take the kindness as sincere, and I appreciate it. I have had people help me get the last few items on my list because I had a screaming baby on my carrier, and my toddler about to lose it because he needed to take a nap. I have never taken more than 2 green advantage fliers. In regards to the inconsistencies…I have had Target coupons accepted one day and then another day told they don't accept them. Either policy changed, or the other cashier made a mistake…I'm not the coupon guru, and I'm not going to cry over a few dolalrs worth of groceries I have to pay in full for. I mean, come on. If you need it that bad, then don't buy the junk food…more than hlaf of the “sale” items and coupons are for items I never purchase anyway. GO PUBLIX! Thanks for employing such nice people, having such a nice and pleasant store in which to shop, and having quality items, especially produce!

      –kira

    • itismedia

      Smaldone,
Do you live in Florida?
