There is a $3/2 8ct Orville Redenbacher’s Target coupon showing up for me on target.com. Also I saw a coupon for $1/1 Sundown Naturals or Marvel Gummy Vitamins on Coupons.com so that would make the GAB deal on that a little better, making it 1.99 ea wyb 2. :-)

    • yay!! thanks Jenny!

    • CCShad

      Great ad – thanks!

    • The Barber's stuffed chicken coupon is $1/1 not $1/2. Makes it $1.50 a box!

      • Tracey

I am so excited about this coupon, it’s ridiculous!! :) This chicken is awesome and makes a great dinner that my hubby or kids can stick in the oven when I work late.

      • Publix Chick

I got the same thing when I printed that coupon. So excited!

        • Erin

How’d you get the coupon? Mine wouldn’t print anything

          • karen

it wouldn’t print for me either untill i turned my pop up blocker off!

      • adrienne

@ mary beth ward   Thank You soooo much for posting this :)   YAY!  i love when that happens! I would have never known

      • Chris

On the Barber website it has been $1/1 for some time.  I posted it a month or two ago when they had them on sale last – I bought 14 boxes (and so no one yells at me it was Wednesday night at 10P – an hour before the store closed and the sale ended).  These are so awesome – the broccoli cheese rocks!  Just wish it would cool off here (Atlanta) so I can start using my oven again!

    • victoria

For the Chips Ahoy Cookies, would I be able to do this….
      Buy 4 @ 3.79 each
      -7.58 Publix BOGO
      -B3G1 Free Target Q or 3.79
      -(2) 0.75/2 Man Q
OOP 2.29 for all of them.

      • Danielle

Yes, that is my plan too!

        • Miss_afb

wouldn't that be using 2 store and 1 man is that allowed?

          • Miss_afb

nvm b1g1 is the sale price not a q

            • Sofia

Right. Publix BOGO is just a sale price, and does not count as a coupon

            • guest

They will likely only give you the 1/2 price price off for the free package… <1.90>  Leaving you paying 4.18 OOP still not bad for 4 packs of cookies

      • Deb

Yes, IF your Publix matches Target.  Mine does not.

      • Srhine85

There was a Target $1/2 Nabisco cookie or cracker printable a few weeks ago (I don't know if it has expired or not) that you could use. Also, if you have the Publix Stocking Spree Nabisco $1/1, you can use that one too.

      • Janessa

yes, you can use 2 coupons per item. even on the free item from the BOGO…. 1 store or compet and manufact

    • mommyof1

Wow.. thanks so much! This might be the longest list I printed yet! So many things that we eat are bogo and have coupons with it.. plus we have 3 dogs and a cat and those treats will come in handy!  looks like i can really stretch my grocery budget this week =)

    • Rachelmae_23

How do you print he Ponds coupon? I cant find it on the site.

    • ashley

      Finally a great week!!!!  :)

    • ireneY

I emailed Quaker, looking for coupons. They sent a form letter saying “no” with an email account that starts with “donotreply”. Essentially saying “we're not interested in your business.” How do you like that?!

      • Minniel0ve

That's strange.  I sent them a granny letter about something being wrong with a product that I had bought.  They sent me three $3 off any quaker products coupons.  Maybe it was just because you were just asking for the coupons.

        • Fran

Sounds like your just complaining to get a coupon.

          • Lana

It didn't sound like that to me and that is how companies handle problems with their products.  Why do we always have to assume the worst about others who coupon?

      • Guest

I think they are just saying NO they dont have coupons they can send, not that they dont want your business

        • ireneY

Every other company I've contacted have sent coupons. This is the only company, other than Blue Buffalo, who don't supply coupons when contacted. It's a way of rewarding their customers for their interest, such as “liking” them on Facebook. They don't have coupons to give out because they don't want to.

          • Kristin

I wrote to Pur about their water filters being more expensive than Brita.  Was informed they don't have coupons to send (I wasn't asking for any).  Have switched to a Brita pitcher.  Less expensive, and Q's are frequent.

Does Publix accept competitor's coupons for free products? I have a few Kroger coupons for free products. TIA!

      • Rebecca

I'm in Atlanta & mine does accept Kroger free item coupons.

        • emj

Thanks! I'm in Atlanta too, but have never actually tried using them at Publix before.

      • Srhine85

I have used them before and had no problems.

      • I'm in Alpharetta and my Publix will take Kroger's free coupons.

    • emj

FYI, there's a .35/3 Chef Boyardee cans or microwave pastas coupon in SS 8/7.

      • yup, I was just going to post this.. :)

      • Shintalmo

        Not in the AJC :(

        • Firgodes7

          That's where I got my coupon. Weird…

          • cg

Yep, I got mine in the AJC

    • Steph08252001

I've gotten the gas cards before, but never when couponing on the same trip. If I ring up all my stuff for at least $25, then ring up the gas card, THEN do my coupons…is it going to work even when my total drops below $25? I am assuming it should.

      • Sofia

Yes it should. Just be sure to give them the gas card coupon first.

      • Publix Chick

We were told at my store that the $25 requirement was BEFORE any coupons were accepted, making the gas cards a REALLY good deal! As long as we ring in $25 worth of groceries before we take any coupons off, you get the deal! =-)

      • millie

yes as long as your original total exceeds $25 it is not a problem.  last time they had this i paid $47.04 and that was with gas card and after coupons. good luck!

      • Kathy

As long as your groceries add up to $25 before coupons it works.  I would recommend getting a gas card for a gas station you know is in your town.  I got the only one left last time (Texaco) and there wasn't one of those gas stations for 50 miles of my house!

    • Jacki C

I found a coupon in Bi-Lo (which is next door to Publix, I shop at both) for $5 off when you buy 2 Digorno Pizza's and a 12 pack of Miller Light, Miller Genuine Draft and such. Its a mfr coupon good until December. It was on a display so keep your eyes open!

    • If anyone has an extra Conagra rebate they won't be using can I have it?? I wasn't able to get one at my Publix before they ran out. Thanks so much!!

      • Ghettobillys

I have an extra one that you may have.  Email me at cayleealred@gmail.com and I will drop it in the mail today.

      • Ali_gator82

Yes if anyone has an extra one I would appreciate it too.  My store had no idea what I am talking about.  Also what products must you buy for the 15 dollars in ConAgra foods?  Thanks for taking the time to help!

    • Mrssarahmarks

      Hi Jenny,

The $2.00 off Pork Ribs coupon make an awesome deal.  And I had V-8 Coupons in my 8/7 paper for $1.50 off (AJC).

    • Sofia

Right. Publix BOGO is just a sale price, and does not count as a coupon

    • Tiff715

Jenny, last week you had the Osteo Bi-Flex as a MM with the $7 coupon from the paper, but its not lited like that this week. Is the deal not valid?

      • Folks were having trouble finding the inexpensive one in stores.

        • Ag Black

they are buy one get one at kroger in griffin, ga this week.  got 2 free

          • Jh198511

            me too! :)

      • Srhine85

I am thinking that the deal seems to good to be true. I tried to find the coupon to see if it is a match, but I guess my area didn't get the $4 one. I kind of think that Osteo Bi-Flex is the brand name of the product that the $4 and Publix coupon matches to, but the one she has listed is named Rexall, which makes me think it is not a match.

    • SugarBooBear

If I were to use the B1G1 for the Axe Shower Gel (manuf) could I also use 2 $1.50 (store Q) making it 1.99 for both?

      • jason (dallas, ga)

I did that this past week.  Axe regular price 4.99.  9.98 total.   Used B1G1 q which deducted 4.99.  Now we stand at 4.99.  I then used two store q for 1.50 each and the final price was $2 for the two.

        • June

How can you sue 2 sotre q, don't the green advantage ones say one per coupon per customer?

          • Mstw

mine say 1 coupon per customer/transaction

        • Nedra992001

hi just wanna know if that was a publix store coupon? and where did it come from?? thanks

    • GrammarDiva

Has everyone received their Stocking Spree book?  I never did get mine!

      • dtownphoto

Go to kangaroocoupon.com  They have some listed that you can get mailed to you this week for free if you never got yours.  I got mine several weeks ago.

      • Jennamariescoupons

Haven't received mine either. The coupons expire soon too!

      • SugarBooBear

I got mine about month ago.

      • Cindy

Never got my Stocking Spree book either.  Asked at my Publix and the manager didn't know what I was talking about.

      • Jamie_dunson

Here in FL we started receiving ours about 2 weeks ago

      • Erin

Publix home office gave me a number for the company in charge of it, because I never got mine either. They were really nice and mailed one to me when I called. My mom never even shops at Publix and she got one….go figure.

        • Janessa

do you still have that number? i never received mine and my stores employees dont know what i'm talking about.

      • Ketta

Never got mine.  I filled out the form for it as soon as it came out.  Perhaps certain areas were not sent their's.  My zip is 29611.

      • Sheila

Didn't receive mine either (Montgomery, AL)

      • Squirrelhater

Not in Spartanburg yet…It's been forever..

        • Lana

Got mine in Wellford.  Your squirrels must be related to our squirrels  :D

      • Gatorginger

Yes I got mine last month

      • Vesitton

Yes….Mt. Pleasant, SC. It took three weeks.

      • Anonymous

I didn’t get mine either but I emailed the company and they sent me one last week.

    • Bamagirl 43

The Publix qs for the Whiskas and Ceasar treats have expired.

    • Jessa

Where do you get the Dasani Booklet?   If it's too late, is there anyone that has an extra 3/15 Duracell Purchase coupon that wouldn't mind sending me one?  I just got a new camera and could really use a couple more memory cards!  Thanks!

      • Janessa

it was on the 24 pks of dasani water. i've been looking for them the last couple weeks and cant find anymore.

      • coupon rn

it is in the cases of water.  my publix in jacksonville still has them :)

    • Amy B

My Publix in Central FL does not even CARRY the 36-ct Advil, so don't bother printing those coupons–having to buy the 50 count makes it NOT a good deal. Sorry I wasted my printer ink! :)

      • Tylisa

The 36ct is for Advil PM, not regular Advil. The 24ct regular Advil works for the coupons. I've purchased this deal from 3 different Publix stores in my area. Regular Advil does NOT come in 36ct….only 24ct, 50ct, and up.

      • Wooburne1

I use about 12 advil a day. So, the $9 savings on two bottles is still a great deal for me. I like the liquid ones because they work quicker.

      • Emaushouse

I’m not happy either.  I work the 911 center and we go thru headache meds like candy.  I was hoping to restock our medicine drawer with the Advil…but it was not to be.  Guess we’ll be dealing with our headaches….and everyone else’s!

    • Debbie

Where do you get the Kraft food & family booklets?

    • Courtney

What/where is the code needed to print the Banquet chicken coupon?

    • Jamie_dunson

I found my All You $1.00 off (2) Orville Redenbacher coupon, which makes the popcorn even a better deal.

    • Jenn

I can't find the Cutter insect repellent on facebook. Can someone please tell me where to look?? Thanks in Advance!

    • Courtney

What/where is the code to print the Banquet chicken coupon?

      • SugarBooBear

        Here one.  55852947

        • Courtney

          thank you!

    • Bamagirl 43

Does anyone have another zip for the Hunt's ketchup?

    • Janna P.

has anyone found the hunts coupon again? I tried 77477 and it's not there anymore =(

      • Janessa

i got it earlier this morning but could only print once

    • Amandabrinn

On the Axe where I can use a B1G1 Q can I use (2) Store 1.50 even on the free one?

      • Firgodes7

Yes you can. I did it yesterday.

        • Calpurnia78

it depends on the cashier..some let me use 2 publix coupons and some raise a big stink. Techically it is against store policy but a lot of cashiers dont care.

          • val

I used four of the same AXE Publix q’s the other day and they didn’t say anything.

        • mommyof1

you arent supposed to be able to though, i am not trying to judge, but read the coupon.

      • coupon rn

publix will only allow you to use one green advantage coupon per transaction, so not on this one  :(

      • GrammarDiva

You can ask them.  They've done that for me before, but I've only asked them once or twice.  I try not to take advantage.

      • Laura

I think people are getting confused by a bogo sale vs a bogo coupon. If the store sale was bogo each would ring up half price and you could use 2 of the $1.50.

But since it’s your coupon that’s bogo one rings full price and one rings $0 so no, you should not be able to use a 2nd $1.50.

    • June

Does anyone know if there is a limit of gas cards per transaction…for instance, if I spend $75 in groceries could I get 3 gas cards in the same transaction?

      • Michelle

At my store, you would only be allowed one card per transaction. I bring the hubby along to check out too.

      • Firgodes7

As long as you have the 75.00 in grocery's and three coupons. You are good.

      • Sheila

Depends… have had a cashier do it but another said one per transaction. Now I ask at Customer Service if I want to do that.

      • Restore07

we have several Publix very close to home.  I always split up my shopping list throughout the week to get extra deals.  The discount on gas is worth the extra time for me….

      • Allehidal2003

yes,it worked for me in Fl

    • Did anyone else in Charleston SC not get the Lysol SS 8/7 coupons or am I just missing something??

      • SugarBooBear

I didn't get it either but I also only got 2 inserts instead of the 3 that was suppose to be in there.  I do know that the Ooh and Ahh over big baby has a lysol coupon in it.  You can get it at Customer Service.

        • Okay thanks… I have the baby ones but just wanted to make sure I didn't toss the Lysol coupons. I only got the 2 inserts also, I had to buy the Target ones online.

    • laura

Did anyone get the Hunts ketchup coupon to work?  I used 77477…Is there any other zip thats working??  Thanks

      • Janessa

it worked for me usng that zip code but only let me print once

      • mommyof1

i couldnt print it or find it either..

      • Lorimm17

After typing in the “77477” zip code, you have to click on the tiny “go” button to the right of the brand box.  To print 2 coupons, you have to go through the process of selecting the coupon twice; hitting the back button doesn’t work to get the second coupon.

    • Tylisa

Is anyone having trouble with the Zephyrhill’s coupon?

      • YES!!

      • kristen

Yep..it gives an error page and says it is no longer available..booo…..

      • Bamagirl 43

yes, the window never opened. then i got a sever error msg.

      • Jennifer Charles

UGG!! SO ANNOYING! That water coupon would have been GOLDEN!!!

    • I am just so HAPPY to finally see gluten free bread on sale!!! WOOHOO!!!! Doing the happy dance ;)

      • Jennifermathis24

i tried to print the Q, but it wouldnt work for me. Did you have any luck?

        • Nope, no coupons. Thankfully I still have a few I printed awhile ago, the expiry is October so I hung onto them!!!

    • LuvNQPs

Just FYI today yesterday at Walgreens on the the drink coolers they had Vitamin Water coupons $.55/1 20fl oz….pair that with the Target Buy 2 get 1 free….

      • LuvNQPs

        sorry typo…it was yesterday

    • Ryan_p_taylor

Anybody have some Publix morningstar q?  I can't find the Sweet Summer Savings booklet and need 4+.  I'm happy to swap for the morningstar.  Please email ryan_p_taylor@yahoo.com.  Thanks!

      • Marla

I think I have this booklet. Will check when I get home. If I do, they are yours!

        • Ryan_p_taylor

          Great, thank you, Maria!

      • Angelas001

I have one, I’m emailing you.

    • Jenney

Where's the honest tea coupon. The link takes me to the honestcity and no coupon to be seen…

      • Squirrelhater

        Same here.

i have never been able to find this coupon.. i have tried for a few weeks now when coupon links are posted for it..  and i cant seem to find the coupon on their site

    • does any one have the childhunger codei lost mine :(

        try 74575328

      • Twoboys3503

        55852947  :-)

      • Amber

        I used 63829897

    • Coco

I know this is probably pretty simple, but I don't understand how the Temptations are free +. If they are 1.50 a piece and it is buy one get one free then the $1/2 would make the final price .50, which would be .25 per Temptations bag, correct? What am I missing here? Thank you!

      • Bamagirl 43

Originally, there was a Publix q listed, but it had expired, so it was removed. A quarter each is correct.

        • Coco

Thanks! I was seriously frustrated trying to figure out why I couldn't get such a simple concept through my head….hahaha!

      • freedomspradley1

There's also a $1 off one coupon which would make it free +.

    • J13h22

Does anyone know when your doing the -Free Mail in Rebate $10 Amazon or Publix gift card WYB $30 in one Publix purchase, incl $15 of participating products by 8/26, Publix ConAgra flyer, if the item is B1G1 do they count the free one in your total?

      • Calpurnia78

        yes

    • kristen

If your Publix takes Target coupons (mine does), there is a .60 cents off coupon on their website for 1..use (2) Target .60 cents coupons with the $1/2 manuf. coupon and pay .65 cents each!! I will be stocking up!

      • kristen

better yet, I just saw a $1.25/2 Smart Blanace on their website – so you can save an extra .5 cents

        • LD

What zip did u use to see the $1.25 off 2 coupon ? I have used 6 diffrent zip codes and not one spread coupon shows for me

          • DerbyGirl

You can use zip 37129, it showed up for me

            • Susie2011

There is also a 1.25 coupon on the target website, it is a manf q!

      • Sofia

What item are you talking about ?

      • Erin

These are not target coupons, they are manufacturers coupons. No stack :(

    • Bamagirl 43

Will the Lysol coupons work?  They look like they are for the disenfecting air spray and the ad appears to be for spray cleaner.

      • Melissa

wondering the same thing…looks like they're for different items

    • Squirrelhater

Our Publix just got the “Sweet Summer Savings” booklet, but does anyone know about the “Get More From Your pharmacy Booklet”?Is that a Publix booklet? When did it come out?

      • darbe

its a little white pamphlet near the pharmacy on a stand

        • Calpurnia78

I dont believe that is true. Its not a publix coupon booklet.

      • Calpurnia78

I think that it came out in January at Krogers and it is no where to be found anymore and it constantly comes up in this blog and no one has it anymore if they ever had it.

        • Mrscori2006

Thanks for saying what (I'm sure) a lot of us were thinking! lol!

      • kristen

I think it is from CVS

    • Gomerswife

Thank you for making this Publix ad so easy to use.  I like being able to just click on the items I want, even those from the YAF and GAF!  What could be easier?  I go to IHP website and they give the ad, but I don't see any way to print out a grocery list from there.  I like Southern Savers and IHP websites….

    • Lynn

Does anyone know if the price listed here for Maranatha Almond Butter from Yellow Advantage flyer is correct at $2.99? My flyer in So. Florida lists $4.99…Thanks!

      • Golden279

The prices in S FL are frequently different than the ones listed here (more). These prices are for GA. You just have to double check before you purchase or do as I do, have the weekly ad pulled up at the same time so you can compare.

    • I don't get a daily newspaper.  Which day's paper has the gas coupon in it?  Is there a code that I can try to sweet-talk the cashier into using?

      • Bhester78

It is usually in their store ad that you can pick up at the front of the store. Make sure to get your store ad before Tuesday that's when my store sometimes starts running out.

      • Sandy

The coupon should be in the sale flyers at the front of the store!  At least, that's where they usually are :)

      • Chris

Here in Atlanta the flyers in-store never have the Q in them any more (they used to but folks would swipe them all).  Now you can only find the Q in the flyer from the paper OR you should be able to get it online from their site once they post the new ad for your area (that's how I usually get mine before I get my paper).

    • Mrscori2006

Am I missing something on the Caress body wash (green flyer) If it is $4.99 and I use both coupons wouldn't it be $2.49?

      • Sofia

I saw that too… should be $2.49 like you said.

    • JrCouponator

Never received the Savings are Stocking Up coupons (in Jonesboro).  Mom is in Stockbirdge and she has not received.  We signed up the day it was announced.  So disappointed.  Oh well…

      • Kristina

I didn't get mine either – I am in Sharpsburg, GA

      • Abi

I didn't get mine either so I emailed them on the stocking up web site and they mailed me one that day. They expire 8/15 tho – so if it happens next time, contact early! Sorry y'all didn't get yours. So frustrating, I know!

      • Kaitlyn

Same here! We got it the first day, and never received it. Pretty bummed over it.

      • Teresa

I'm in Decatur, AL and my mom is in Hartselle, AL and neither of us received our coupon books.

        • Dixiegirlanf

My mom and I are both in Hartselle, and we received ours about 3 weeks ago.

      • Mrscori2006

I am in McDonough and I also havent gotten it :(

    • Jajohnson0527

Chattanooga people or anyone who would know the answer to this question: Will the coupon for the gas card be in Tuesday's paper or Wednesday's paper??

      • Sofia

Last time I got it it was in the Sunday paper with the weekly ad (AJC)

        • Chris

They actually put the ad out twice in Atlanta – once when the ad starts for your county and a second time on Sunday (and the early edition on Saturday).  So technically you could end up with more than one Q.  Also note that they usually have the Qs from their ads available on their website when they post the ad – so you could print it from there as well.

      • susan

It will be in Wed's ad. in the store.

      • Denise P.

The gas coupon is in the weekly ad that comes out in Wed's Chatt. paper

    • Why can't get the Zephyrhill’s Aquapod Natural Spring Water coupon to print? Did anyone else?

      • Julieswallie

it is not work for me either

      • It wouldn't print for me either =/

      • Sara Kathryn

It didn't print for me either I don't know why though. Maybe it is out of prints.

      • JennyPat

        didn';t work for me

      • Lise

        Didn't work for me either.

    • 1990cher

      Wondering…
Can you get more than one penny item?  I mean, say you spend $40…could you get 4 of them (1 for each $10 you spend)?  Not wanting to seem greedy, I just have always wondered.  Does anyone know?

      • TylersMommy

I'm pretty sure you are only allowed one penny item per visit. Not to say you can't go back out and come back in :)

      • Silent E

Not at my store, in Birmingham. You can't even divide your order up into different transactions. Also, they make you have a coupon, and people don't usually get more than one Wednesday paper!

      • savin4morefamily

My TN store does allow it.  I split my order into 2 at the U-Scan and they've allowed it.  There's two papers here with the coupon – the state paper and the local freebie, so that might have something to do with it (I wouldn't try to get more than that.) I've never tried it in a regular line…and if they ever tell me no, that's fine.  But so far they've had no problems with it on the weeks I've gotten two.

      • Chris

It's probably going to depend on your store.  I would call and ask ahead of time.  They will most likely allow it if they allow you to split transactions already.  But you'll probably have to have a penny Q for each item/transaction.  Good luck!

    • Denise P.

In the link to the Publix store coupon for fancy feast, it expired July 27.

    • Jelischer

just a note that the .35/1 for soft soap is on 8oz or larger not the 6 or 7.5 oz
i have both of them the 1.00/1 body wash and liquid hand soap, i didn' read it carefully and saw this the last time and end up they are not the (1.00 7.5oz) liquid hand soap, it is for the 1.49 8.5oz and they are not on sale…that is the cheapest i've seen them for at walmart.  i use my iphone to find the cheapest and if you can make it cheaper compt it at walmart and use coupon there, may not double but will match the sale price..hopes this helps newbies like me, make sure you read carefully, check price and size also. good savings :)  and this site has helped me so much thanks jenny and anyone else that keeps this going god bless U

    • CCShad

Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Cookie Dough or Brownie Dough, 16-16.5 oz, $2.50

There is also a Food Lion .55/1 store coupon that can be stacked w/ man. coupon if FL is a competitor to your store.

    • Minniel0ve

was I the only one that got the eversave coupons this sunday.  I don't see any matchups with those coupons. (yoplait, hunt's snack packs pudding, spagetti o's etc.)

    • kendall

I am in search of the Ronzoni Health Harvest whole wheat pasta coupon. For some reason it isn't in my binder. I am willing to work out a coupon swap if I have something that you need. Thanks! :)

    • Eliasmorrison

I have a question about the gas card. If I spend $100 can I get 4 gas cards or do I have to do 4 transactions? Or am I allowed to even do that?

      • Check with your store… I can only use one for each trip through the checkout line, but others have had different experiences. Also… my store has begun to put the flyers “behind the desk” to keep folks from taking more than one per visit.

      • Diann

During the last promo, I was able to do 2 gas card deals in one transaction.  I just made sure I had 2 coupons from their flyer.

      • Lrae17

Yes, see what your stores says. My store, (in Columbia, SC) lets me do multiple transactions.  I just have to get the Q in the weekly flyer for each transaction.  I did 3 $25 transactions back to back last time.  No issue was raised.

      • Chris

Like the others say you'll need to check with your store.  Some want you to separate your transactions while others don't allow more than one in a trip at all.  My closest stores allow multiple cards in one transaction as long as I have the correct total transaction dollar amount and a Q for each card – I've bought 4 in one transaction without issue.  YMMV so call ahead and ask so you aren't surprised when you get there.  Good Luck!

        • Duniawatkins

we have never even heard of the gas card can you explain how it works and what we have to buy pleasee thank you

          • Chris

The deal is:  In the flyer there will be a $10 off $50 gas gift card Q.  The selection of available cards will vary by store.  You must purchase $25 worth of groceries, before Qs, to be able to use the Q.  Some stores will allow multiple gas card Qs in one transaction (so if you bought $100 worth of groceries, before Qs, you could get 4 gift cards).  Some stores require you to split your transactions up into $25 increments (so for $100 you would have 4 if you wanted 4 gift cards).  Other stores allow only 1 gas card Q per person per trip – so you could take someone with you OR make multiple trips (either in a day or week) OR visit multiple stores.  HTH

          • Sofia

You should get a coupon in the Sunday paper (some people said Tue or Wed paper – depending on where u live) that says $10 off a $50 gas card with a $25 grocery purchase. It's just that… buy $25 worth of groceries before coupons and get $10 off a gas card.

    • Just so you know the Publix stocking spree coupons are actually manufacture's coupons, even though there is no barcode. Just look at a coupon and it will tell you.

      • Audrar

This is true, I didn't read that and I had a buggy of items at Publix last week, and the cashier pointed it out to me! I had to let them take it all back, all that work!

    • Ipreferpublix

The 1/1 lysol coupons from this past week's paper are for the disinfectant spray, not the trigger spray, so that q is NOT A match! I haven't printed the ip, but it is probably the same, for the spray cans, not the trigger spray, as those q's specify “trigger spray”

      • Ewynn61689

I hope they work…I just took the time to cut out 4. Maybe they will bc its a disinfectant spray.

        • Laura_willoughby08@hotmail.com

I cut out 12 lol but then I called publix. You CANNOT use $1off lysol coupon bc it states can and the trigger cleaners are whats on sell unfortunatly. :(

      • laura_willoughby08@hotmail.com

I just looked at my publix lysol coupon and it looks like its for the can spray only so will not work :((( youre right

    • Dsjkmongs

Target coupon- $1.25 of 2 smart balance butter spreads!!

    • Kacy

How do you get the Publix Sweet Savings booklet?

      • Angelas001

They're at the entrance on a rack with the ads and other flyers, or behind the customer service desk.  I just picked one up today.

    • faith

Have anyone in Greenville, SC receive their Publix stock up coupons in the mail yet?

      • deecheers4rv

Yes, I got mine over a month ago

      • Not yet

        • Couponeagle11

          not yet either

      • Kaimilani

I received mine at the very end of July. I actually emailed customer service since it took so long (I signed up the first day) and they called me the next day and said the books had just gone out the day before. My mom got hers too that week…

        • what Customer Service number did you call? Your local publix or some Corporate Publix number? I still haven't received mine either and I signed up on the first day… :(
          THanks

          • Kaimilani

I actually emailed using the email address from the main Publix webpage and they called me back the next day.

      • Mary

I know quite a few people in my area that never got theirs either.  I didn't get mine and contacted them last week and they mailed me one.

        • faith

Mary, please give me the info so I can call…Thanks

          • Frances

I received mine about two weeks ago.  I think these are the ones which expire 8/15 so it is probably too late.

I received my $20 ConAgra Publix gift card Monday for purchasing $50 in one trip and a certain amount of ConAgra products (I think $25).

      • Minicooper

I'm in Spartanburg and got mine around the end of July.

      • GAIL

how can you get  the Publix stock up coupons  in the mail? I ask someone at my publix and they didn't know what i was talking about ?   Please Help !! Thanks

        • Calpurnia78

About 2 months agao Jenny posted a link here where you went to sign up and request this booklet be mailed to you. It is too late now. You will get the next one!

    • mommyof1

the printable pets publix coupons are expired..

    • Mrscori2006

I get the AJC (Atlanta paper) and I didn't see the B1G1 Axe q's in RP 7/31. Did anyone else not get them?

      • Susie2011

I got the AJC and had them.

        • watkins

i got the ajc and dindt get the target insert in 8/07 also i live in kennsaw ga and my paper is 1.50 so does any body know where i can get it cheaper

          • Calpurnia78

I didnt get the target insert either. I got the general mills one with my delievered paper but not in the ones I bought at the store.

          • Mrscori2006

I also didnt get the Target insert. But I don't know where you can get a paper any cheaper. I pay $3.75 for the double issue on Sundays.

          • Chris

I don't think anyone in Atlanta area got the Target insert.  I ordered a 10pk online for $5 incl shipping.

          • Jessmender

I'm not sure if you still can, but I used to get them for $1.00 on Saturdays (Sunday AJC  early edition) by the Kohls on Hwy 41 – turn in at the Staples sign by the bank and there is someone selling them out of their car.  I usually only buy 2 papers and then people at work give me theirs, so I stopped going all the way up there to save $2.00. Now I pay $2.00 for Sunday papers at the grocery store or CVS – I'd love to know where you're getting them for $1.50!  Also, I did not get the Target insert.

            • Jessmender

Just occurred to me that you probably have a subscription….

            • cg

The “street hawker” price that used to be $1 recently increased to $1.50 and they want exact change.

      • guest

Yes, it was in my AJC RP 7/31… a sheet of it's own… there are times that I don't get Q's that are suppose to be in the AJC… go figure

    • Lise

Hi, can someone explain to me how the Caress body wash becomes $1.49; maybe my calculations are off but I keep getting $2.49.

      • Mrscori2006

I think it was just a typo. I thought I was missing something too but someone else confirmed it was $2.49

        • Lise

          Thanks

    • Joysews

Food Lion has a new q out for Nestle Toll House cookie dough that I believe will match up woth the Publix sale starting tomorrow.

      • Lrae17

        Thanks for pointing this out!

      • pharmSCgirl

How do you get to the printable coupons for food lion?

    • Rhonda

There is a Target Q for $3.00 off when you buy (2) Orville Popcorn 8 packs. Does this not work with the sale?

Also, do store coupons get doubled or just manufacturers?

      New to this. Thanks!

      • Chris

Check your store and local ad to confirm that size is included.  If it is, and your store accepts Target as a competitor, then you should be able to stack that Target Q with a manuf Q.  And no – store and competitor Qs do not double only manuf Qs (if your store/area doubles – like Atlanta-area stores).  HTH – good luck!

      • Calpurnia78

no they dont double the store coupons.

    • Ewynn61689

Hthe publix stock up and save coupons that were sent in the mail around the end of july are not store coupons. My store wouldnot accept them as a store coupon. I was very mad. No one else will take these “manufacture” coupons bc they don't have a bar code, just the publix upc number. Ughhhhhhhh!

      • Odd, my two publix stores took them as store coupons!!! I was able to stack them. I wish publix would have one policy for every store, this is confusing!

    • Esandi

I have a $5 off $30 publix coupon from a back to school mailer.  Does anyone know if the $30 total is before coupons or after?  I am hoping after….

      • Mcburkhalter78

        Esandi,
Its before. They scan thirty dollars worth of merchandise then they take your 5.00 off and then your other coupons. Then you pay the balance.

      • Lrae17

I think you mean that you're hoping it's BEFORE….and IT IS! :-)  When I've used those types of P Qs it's always been before.  Just give them your $5 off $30 FIRST, then the rest of your Qs….otherwise, you might not have $30 worth of stuff after your other Qs and it will mess everything up.  Hope this helps!

        • Chris

I've forgotten to give mine at the beginning and they are still able to take it without issue because the computer keeps track of the original total before Qs apparently.  They punched in the LU# and it went through without a problem.  YMMV.

      • 3GAKids1521

Yeah, I got that coupon as well and started to do the happy dance!  Love it!

    • Amber

I think that the dasani coupon for spaghettios will not work for the chef boyardee because they are not the same brand.  Spaghettios are made by Campbells.  I did get a publix store coupon for chef boyardee $1 off 3 from the publix coupon sheet called College Care Pkg.

      • Amber

I just noticed that the flyer I am talking about is the one Jenny listed as Publix ConAgra coupon sheet.

      • Kelp422

Was it in store or mailed? I’ve been lookg for it!!!!!!

      • Kelp422

Was it in store or mailed? I’ve been lookg for it!!!!!!

    • Mcburkhalter78

Has anyone had a problem with their Publix not accepting Target coupons as competitor coupons? I have three publix in my area and none of them take Target! So disappointed.

      • Chris

Your store has a set radius and competitors are determined for the store.  They have the ability to request to be able to accept another competitor but I hear it is a lengthy process.  I would call around to stores near a Target and see if they still accept them – sometimes it may be worth the special trip to specifically get items you have Target Qs for.

I actually have three stores near me and they all accept something different.  The one store takes Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and Kroger so I take those Qs there.  Another store only takes Kroger so I go there for something the other doesn't have and I have no need to stack except with manuf and Publix store Qs. The third takes Kroger and Target so I go there when I have Target Qs and get just those items there.  Yes it takes a LOT of coordination so I know what I'm getting where but so far it has been totally worth it.  HTH

        • jc'sgirl2536

Thank goodness that all 4 Publix's close to me still accept Target Coupons. That is the good thing about living in a metro area.

        • 3GAKids1521

Ok.  Since your pretty good with your Target store Q's, answer me this if you would.  I have a publix store Q for save $1 on ground beef when you buy 2 Kraft singles slice cheese packs.  I also have a Target store Q that says save $1 on 2 packages of Kraft sliced cheese.  The ounces and all the required jazz meet the needs for the two Q's.  Can these be used together?

          • Sofia

I would think yes, since one coupon applies to the ground beef and the other to the kraft slices. I'm not 100% sure though.

            • 3GAKids1521

Well, that holds true, however, my main concern is can I combine a Publix Store Q with a competitor (Target) store Q.  Neither one are manufacturers.

            • Calpurnia78

No I dont think so…its one store q and one mfg q. That would be 2 store qs..dont think they would take it.

            • Chris

They should be fine because they are applied to two different items within the transaction.  I use Publix Qs with other Qs (Whole Foods, Target, Fresh Market) in the same transaction all the time – you just can't stack them on the same ITEM.

          • Chris

I would say yes.  The Publix Q applies to the ground beef despite having the other purchase requirement while the Target Qs specifically apply to the purchase of the Kraft items.  I would also say to stack a manuf Q on the Kraft if you have one or can get one.  On top of that you could also stack a total purchase Q plus a gas card Q.  HTH

            • 3GAKids1521

Well, I am going to try it out today, so, we shall see how it works Chris.  After I sat and studied the coupons for a little while, I came up with the same conclusion you just gave.  I have searched high and low for Kraft singles or cheese period man Q’s and haven’t found a single one.  Disappointing to say the least since this could have been an awesome deal had I had more than the two Q’s I have.  Thanks for the response.

            • Chris

Look for a blinkie in the store – there was one about a month ago and I grabbed a couple in anticipation of a sale.

        • Calpurnia78

Ive never seen a Fresh Market coupon, have you?

          • Chris

YES!  Recyclebank has them for $$/off$$ all the time.  So I get those with my points and use them at Publix.  You can even stack them with a Publix $$off$$ Q if your transaction total covers both Q total requirements.

      • Dobiesnj

Publix doesn't take Target coupons anymore. Depending on where your Publix is located is what competitor's coupons they will take. There should be a sign in the window as you walk in the store, or they will have a list at the customer service desk.

        • Dobiesnj

I should clarify my answer. The Pubix's in the Charleston area stopped taking Target coupons, at least the one in Goose Creek no longer takes them. It may vary depending on where you live. What annoys me is that we have a couple of Targets in the nearby area :(

          • Mingoleger

There is a Target literally just down the street from my Publix in Lexington SC, and the Publix won't accept Target Q's. You really can't get much closer unless they were in the same shopping center.

            • CMC

My Target is in the same plaza as my Publix and they don't take Target coupons. I guess it's because it's just a regular Target, not a Super Target, and the food area in Target is relatively small, so they aren't considered competition.

            • Pam

My Publix in Orlando DOES accept Target.

            • Linda3

Our Target in Albany. GA is next door to Publix.  You don’t even have to move your car to go to it, and Publix no longer takes Target coupons.  I am having a difficult time adjusting to the change.

      • Terry

My Publix in Ocala FL., does NOT accept Target coupons. Unless it's a manufactures coupon.

      • kristen

I have 2 Publix's by me. One is North or me and one is South. I am in between both. The Publix North of me takes Target, Whole Foods, Doris, Sedano's and Winn Dixie.  The Publix South of me does not. It depends on where the competitors are in relation to your Publix on what coupons they will accept. I live in South Florida by the way!!

      • Katfarmer

Depends upon the store.  Its all so individual now

    • Our inserts came with a $2/1 Hydro razor Q and a $2/1 Hydro refills Q!

    • Lorie

Just got back from Publix and the Penny item today is Publix Coleslaw :)

      • Lorie

        in GA

    • Homemom

The Yellow Advantage Flyers in Tennessee list the Jimmy Dean and Deans coupons as buy TWO.  Is this regional also?  You have both listed as buy one.

      • 3GAKids1521

Homemom – this info you have is correct.  The yellow advantage coupon is indeed $1/2.  I am in GA.

    • Bryarsmom

For those of you that have a Publix nearby that honor Whole Foods Q's, be sure to save these q's-they're pdf's. You'll never run short for a future deal :)

    • kayla

Went early this morning..I got 8 Soft Scrub's, 1 Montreal seasoning, 11 whiskas temptations, 2 cesar dog treats, 2 glad zipper bags, and Herbal essensce shampoo and conditioner for $5!!!  Oh, How I was whishing I hadn't already used my $5/30 coupon!! Thanks so much for putting the ad up early, So I have a chance to go early before everything is gone..:)

      • Bryarsmom

I plan on the same strategy tomorrow at our office Publix.

      • Tyedyemomma

How did you get 8 soft scrubs? My publix told me it is company policy to only be able to use 6 like coupons

        • Jbush27

          Every Publix is different.

    • Eric

Got a $5 off $30 purchase in today's newspaper. Came in a separate 1-page insert that advertises fruit and says “Convenience is Sweet” on one side and “How to pick the best produce” on the other.

      • Eric

Oh…should've mentioned that I got this in the Greenville News SC

        • Angelareid821

          What is the expiration date?

          • Eric

            8/21

      • sunshine

Has anyone with AJC or MDJ seen the $5 off $30 coupons?   Do you think it may be tomorrow since our ads change on Thursday?

        • Chris

Just checked the MDJ and it's not in there.  It might be in there tomorrow since our ad changes then – will be watching for sure!

          • Rupa

Please let us know if you see it on Thursdays paper…infact can you e-mail me….

            • Chris

If it shows up in the paper I'll know first thing tomorrow so I'll post it on this thread.

        • Sofia

I thought since Atlanta got them last week (expiring today) we wouldn't be getting them again.

    • emj

There's a .50/1 Yoplait Multipack (Fiber One, Yoplus, Delights, Light OR Original 4-pk, Greek 4-pk) in the General Mills insert from 8/7.

    • emj

I have a $2 Mail-in Rebate for Cheez-It Baked Snack Crackers. I found it in the beer section a while ago. There are also Miller Lite, Bubba Burgers and Wholly Guacamole rebates on the same sheet.

    • Bethrutledge2003

What are the prices in () listed above?  I figure the first $ is actual store price of item.  What's the second price listed?

      • freedomspradley1

Its the B1G1 price.  Depending on where you live you will be charged the full price for one and $0 for the other item (FL & some GA).  Otherwise you'll be charged half price () for each item you purchase (SC).

        • Sofia

Metro Atlanta charges the half price for each item just as Jenny has listed in ( )

    • Sonya

FYI…..the Blue Diamond Almond Breeze beverage is the dry mix not the dairy milk as pictured on the coupon. I did not know that when because a lot of the sale items were not marked because my Publix store was doing inventory with all of the people with the blue shirts on with scanners. But needless to say it was still okay with the coupon..

    • What a great morning at Publix!  I really saved this week!  Thank you, Jenny, for your free site that has saved my family so much money!  I use to barely be able to provide 4 meals a week for my family on my $120 a week budget.  I use that to buy all toiletries and cleaning supplies.  Now, I have lowered my weekly budget but I can finally provide EVERYTHING my family needs.  Not only do we have plenty of meals, but I have all the first aid supplies, toiletries, and cleaning supplies I have always wanted to be able to buy!!!  Praise the Lord for the education that Jenny gives!!!  Thank you again, Jenny!!!!

    • Tyedyemomma

2 unadvertised things I found was bengay cream for 4.79 use the 5.00 off and it is free + and the Zyrtec 5 count was under 5.00.  My 5.00 off printables expired today so I was glad I found these.  Did everyone but me know Publix limits 6 like coupons? I had no idea!!!!

      • Jbush27

That is up to each Publix.

      • Chris

It varies by store – some limit like Qs while others don't.  And the Bengay is not really free after you factor in tax – in Cobb County GA it would actually cost you $0.08.  Walmart is a better deal on that at $4.23 + tax (works out to $4.48/ea – overage of $0.52/ea).

        • Tyedyemomma

Yeah, good ol tax! It is better than paying 4 somthing for it.  My poor husband opened it and used it when he got home! I have shopped at the same publix every week and have never had them limit Q's until today.  Who knows

          • My publix told me the limit was ten

            • Chris

The limit varies from store to store.  My closest store has no limit – I've used 18 Whole Foods and 18 manuf Qs together at one time (when I bought 18, 3 cases, of the Method dish soap).  Plus it depends on how popular the item is, if they have been able to get it easily or have a backstock amount, and/or if you special order your quantity (like I did with the dish soap).  YMMV but when it comes to these type of limits or questions, and you don't like what your closest store does or says, call around to other stores in the area and see what they say – it might surprise you to get a completely different answer from a store just a little further away (and may be a better choice if you aren't going to have as much hassle or headache from your closest store).  Good Luck!

            • celser

Mine did too or 5 BOGO deals!  I have three Publix stores within 2 miles of my house and they ALL do things differently.

    • Roxanne

What does regional mean in regards ro the $2.99 gal milk?

      • Chris

It means that the deal may be valid in NC but not GA or some parts of GA but not others – or only in FL.  Depends on what “region” your store is part of and if that region is offering that special/price.  HTH

      • Cooks2005

yes, some regions cannot put local milk on sale because it's kinda like an agricultural comodity, with rules governing its pricing.

    • Migdaliamart

Hi! I have a question for all you coupon gurus. For the Free Mail in Rebate $10 Amazon or Publix gift card WYB $30 in one Publix purchase, incl $15 of participating products by 8/26, Publix ConAgra flyer… does it have to be $15 of Conagra products before deals or after? I live in the land of true BOGO and wasn't sure if I bought the Orville popcorn if it would count as $4.89 or if I would be able to count both the popcorns at $4.89 a piece for a total of $9.78 even thought one if technically free. I hope that makes sense lol. TIA!!!

      • Bamacat

I saw a post elsewhere that said they called the 800 number on the flyer and was told that the cost of both items will count for the $15 requirement.

    • Highlyfavored30

Where do you find the Kraft Food and Family coupon booklet?

      • Tangela

I would like to know as well.

      • Laura

Kraft Food & Family is a magazine subscription that's about $12-14 a year.
I've heard they also put freebie coupon booklets in stores a few times a year but I've actually never found one. Would like to know when anyone has found one in store, and what store? thanks

    • Mel

Can someone tell me if there is a link to print the rebate form for the conagra rebate? My Publix had no conagra booklets.  Usually there is a way to print these forms.  The items I bought today coincide with the rebate, and I would like to do it.  Also, if anyone out there has a rebate form that they are not going to use, I would appreciate it, especially if there is no way to print one. Thanks!!

      • Marla

To Mel and anyone else interested – I have 4 extra rebate forms. Will mail them to you in good faith that you'll someday send some diaper, wipes, clorox/lysol wipes, or gravy Qs. =) email me @ marlaniquew@yahoo.com

      • Tina

I have a spare form,  email me your address and I will mail it out to you. whylidat at gmail dot com

        • Jodilynnstew

if I email you my address will you email me a form also?

      • Kelp422

        I need some too.

    • Dressviolet

Does anyone know where you can go online to order the Target coupons? I didn't get those in my AJC paper this week.

      • Chris

I ordered mine from Whole Coupon Inserts – $5 for a 10pk included shipping

    • Guest

@ Chris, You seem to have really good info regarding policies, regional distribution, etc. Do you happen to have a blog too? I like southern savers but I find myself looking at other blogs lately. I always look for your little picture in the comments to see any “extra” info that might be important! TY Jenny and Chris.

      • Chris

No Jenny is the expert – I look for info from her too.  I just love to shop and try to make sure I educate myself about the policies and procedures where I shop so I can take full advantage and get the best deals.  Thanks though!

      • Mrscori2006

Chris does rock! I always read his comments too! :D

    • Ali_gator82

What products are you able to purchase to count towards the 15 dollars spent on Con Agra Food?

    • Alissabeth

Anyone not able to use the 'create list' button? I hit it once and nothing came up in my list, now it won't work…

      • Cheryl

        Mine only printed the headings

    • Cputman200

Has anyone used the $2 coupon from the Advil site?  I printed mine just now and they did not fit on the page.  The bar code is clear but the details are cut short.  I tried to reprint and I have maxed out my print allowance.

      • Chris

Yeah when you print it you have to print in landscape mode.  Fortunately if you can print again from another machine you can set the number of copies in the Windows Print Dialogue box plus change it to landscape and you should be good to go.  HTH

        • Frootloops20

Changing the number of prints in the box didnt work for me. It wouldnt print at all unless I had the number on one print only. Strange I know, when the print box first popped up I was so excited cause I thought it might work. A no go for me. Bummer.

          • Chris

Maybe they changed it.  I was able to get however many I set it to.  I guess early bird and all.  Sorry!

      • Sofia

You probably needed to change your printing preferences. Have it print at 70% instead of 100% or so.

    • Nancyhill3081

I have a quick question.. the Lysol in the list says trigger spray, but on the ooh & ahh baby book the coupon says 19oz can. I wonder how this deal will work, or if it is all Lysol on sale?

      • Kelp422

        Mine would not.

        • Nancyhill3081

Thank you!  I was just making sure before I go.

      • Laura

The baby book Q is not a match for what's on sale.
The Lysol that matches the baby coupon is $6-7. There is a $1/1 newspaper Q on that spray also. I guess because it's so much higher than their other products it's the only $ off 1 coupon Lysol releases any more. For anyone interested in stacking for that product the $6+ cans are packaged right now with a free full size Lysol wipes that normally cost about $3.

    • Linda

Does anyone know an 8 digit purchase code for the chef boyardee coupon?

    • Palerthanpink

FYI..At my Publix the Advil priced at $4.29 was only a 24 count and not able to used along with the $5.00 coupon. The $5.00 is for Advil 32 count and higher. I did get 2 of the Advil LiquGels 40 count. They were each regular prices $6.35 and after the coupons $1.85 each! Still a great deal!

    • Thompson618

How are you getting all those coupon books like the target college 2011, kroger, bilow?

    • Trdrcwns

Where do i get info on gas card promotion/coupon? Im new at this and not sure about where to locate all the deals
      Thanks for any help!

      Tina

      • Chris

It's not a promotion really.  Just buy $25 worth of stuff and use the coupon from your Publix flyer (in the paper) to save $10 off a $50 gas card of your choice.  Just that simple.

        • Careycouponer

They'll have extras of the circular (with coupon) at the front of the store, so no worries there!

          • Chris

In Atlanta they usually don't – and haven't for some time.  It's been a while since I've seen the Q in the flyer in the store here (at least the north side of Atlanta).

    • Frootloops20

Does anyone have another code for the hunts ketchup? The zip that is posted doesnt have it.

    • Moulstock

With the gas card promo is the total of $25 b4 or after coupons?

      • Chris

        Before

      • Vanessa

Always before coupons. So give them the coupon for the gas card first and then give them the other coupons (hopefully bringing your total below $25).

        • guest

I was told the computer already knows how much was spent before coupons and it does not matter when you give them. I tried this out myself and had no issues giving it before or after the coupons.

    • Kim

Am I the only one with a June All You magazine that doesn't have the Hunts ketchup or the Marie Calendar chicken pot pie (from last week) coupons??  I thought the magazines would all have the same stuff in them.  Maybe it's June from last year or something??

      • Chris

No apparently the newsstand version sometimes has diff Qs from the one mailed to homes.  Odd that that's the case but I guess it is what it is.  It might pay to pickup a copy in Walmart and double-check it after you get your home copy to see if anything is diff and, if so, grab one.

        • Ag Black

chris, i have a question.  there is a store coupon for smuckers, .75 off, in the yellow adv. flyer and i got a .55 off q in last weeks insert. do you have any idea what the publix price is and advice as to if this is a good deal?  thank you in advance!

          • Chris

Smuckers is usually more expensive than Welch's.  What I would do is hold both Qs and watch the flyer and each time you go into the store to see if they put it on sale.  If they do then strike your deal.  If not and you still need it then saving $1.30 is better than nothing or no savings at all.  That's what I tend to do on anything – you have to know how to hold and just keep an eye and ear open for what would be a good deal for you (what you believe to be a good deal).  When that doesn't materialize you then have to decide is the savings still worth it or should you pass and just wait for the next Qs to come out and try to catch a sale then.  HTH  Good Luck!

            • Ag Black

That is exactly what I thought you were going to say!  Sometimes I have to calm myself down! lol And thanks again for the advice!  I live 25 miles from the closest Walmart and Kroger, and 30 from the closest Publix so I really have to be careful about just running out to get a deal!

          • Exercisepatience

If you have a Bi-Lo nearby take both q's there.  I did that today.  The regular price was $2.33 and I paid .48 after they doubled the .55 off plus the .75.  Gotta love that new q policy!!!

            • Chris

Yeah I wish we had some other stores in the area that offer deals and double Qs like that.  If you do then that's awesome – more power to you for the best deal possible.

      • Danyeln

ConAgra does that roughly quarterly.  It is a stabled in booklet in teh center of the mag.  Since the ones from June expire 8/31 I will pretty much guarantee that the September newstand issue will have an insert in it.

      • tina

the newstand version “seems” to have better coupons.  there was an insert in the middle of the book that is on heavier paper.  they do that every few months or so. and btw the pie coupon is for the dessert pies not the pot pies, sorry…..

    • Hapyshoper

where can i find this Porque Sabes Chorrar Compras booklet?

      • Hapyshoper

        for the huggies coupons?

    • Nurseamie

Just got back from a great trip at Pulix! I didn't feel like I had been doing as well as I was the past months, but today I got some great deals. I did want to give everyone a heads up on a dog food deal I found ( I was out and it was one of my must-have items). Pedigree 4.4 lb bags are 3.99, and there was a $2 off Q in a machine in front of them…makes them $1.99 for 4.4 lbs, or .45 a pound! Was a good suprise for me (in the Mt Juliet TN Publix).

    • Coco

I'm new to Publix, but I was curious how to obtain these advantage flyers? I received the green one in my AJC last week, however, I noticed there's a yellow one also. Thanks in advance!

      • Melissa

They are at the front of the store with the other flyers

        • Coco

Thanks! I'll be on the look out next time I enter the store.

      • Chris

They may also be behind the Customer Service counter.  If you check the front of the store and don't see them then ask there.  Some stores “hide” them because of ppl coming in and taking HUGE stacks and selling them online (as I have personally seen not to mention was told at more than one store).  HTH

        • Lea

My store was hiding them behind the counter to distribute evenly, then got in trouble for doing so because all of the extreme assholes complained

    • brenda

Does anyone have the code for the banquet entree?

      • Trice

the code I used yesterday is 63829897 HTH

    • heather

Anyone else having trouble with the zephyrhill's coupon? I just get an error message.

      • Jessicajewell

I did to. I am going to write to the company and tell them. i did that with a Dove coupon problem and they sent me an entire coupon booklet!

    • Joanne

This is only my second week doing this and I feel like I will never get it all down.  I really enjoy it but have not really built up my coupon supply as of yet.  When I find a really good deal I get so excited.  Thanks for all the information you share.  I love Southern Savers.  If there are any other good sites please let me know.  Thanks all.

      • Mrscori2006

It takes a while to get your own personal “couponing routine” down. I think everyone kind of does it differently but with time you will become more accustomed to sales cycles, and ways to get different coupons. As far as other sites, Southern Savers is really the best. I don't even use any other coupon sites but maybe others could give you a few ideas…good luck

      • Chris

Like Mrscori2006 says below it just takes time.  Keep at it and you'll get into your own groove with a way of doing things that works for you.  If you ever get frustrated just take a breath and/or a break – sometimes a pause helps with perspective when frustration sets in.  This site is the BEST out there IMHO.  Good Luck!!

        • Mynaneen1

HI Chris.  I saw a post that you ordered the Target inserts.  Where did you order them from.  I am thinking about just ordering the Sunday inserts instead of purchasing at the stores or at the corner.

          • Chris

AJCInserts was my fav but they have since gone out of business.  WholeCouponInserts was where I got these inserts for Target but they tend to be the most expensive when you factor in shipping.  InsertInsanity is another good choice – they appear to have good prices and do a flat-rate schedule (charge the same for a 10pk regardless of if there are 2 inserts or 4).  Another is KouponKash and they appear to be OK and are specifically Atlanta (AJC) inserts – the other two are out of Florida.  I have also purchased individual Qs on ebay – and only recently had a bad experience where what I got was peelies (and have been working to report it – although appears no one cares so far).  HTH

            • MOM22

HI CHRIS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE CAN I GET THE CONAGRA Q' MY KIDS LOVE THE RAVIOLES AND NEED MORE KETCHUP!!! THANKS!!

            • Chris

ConAgra's website has a special section for a feed the hungry program – you enter codes from purchased products and they have some good Qs there for future use.  I don't have any codes but if you ask on here usually someone has an extra code or two they can share (and I think have posted so you'll have to read through).  I had some but donated all the peanut butter I bought and don't buy too much of their other stuff (especially ketchup – blech).

Oh and side note – when posting online ALL CAPS indicates SCREAMING/YELLING and is considered bad online etiquette.  Just a quick reminder for those that post online and forget to turn off the caps lock.

              Hope that helps.  Happy Couponing!

            • Lea

Don't forget those stupid softsoap q's that didn't double!

            • Chris

Yeah that was a two-fold error.  The ebay auction did say DND but not prominently – I should have read it all closer I guess.  But all in all a decent experience from ebay – just have to watch prices because ppl on there are willing to pay outrageous prices.

    • KellyA

My publix flyer I got in the mail had a $10 gift card when you spend $50 coupon on the front, I'm in the Tampa Bay area.

      • deee

        same location here too! :)

    • Camille

Did anyone else notice that the $5 off cpn for the Tylenol precise is actually a $2 off cpn once you click on the “Printable” link?

      • Coco

Yes, I noticed that Monday night when I tried to print it. From what I've gathered from other posts on here, the $5 coupon was offered a while back.

        • Merc

Yes, me to.  And, so many blogs are still posting it as $5.  I wonder if they all use the same coupon database service -and maybe that service hasn't updated.

    • Mrscori2006

I got the Publix Family Style magazine today in the mail and there are some good coupons in it…$$ off Deli kid's meals, dairy items, and more. Be on the lookout for it

      • Laura

There was a good deal from that book with last weeks sale. The biggest loser pot roasts that are usually about $7 were on sale for $5. I used the $2 from that book and a $2 from the biggest loser website & got a roast for $1. The coupons in that book are good until 10/31 & the BL web coupons 12/31 so the deal will probably come around another time or two before the Publix Q expires.

    • Tangela

Did anyone else NOT receive the Publix Stocking Spree coupon booklet (or whatever the latest mailed coupon booklet was)  that you had to pre-order?  I know of a few people in my area that ordered (including me) and did not receive it.

      • Kim

I haven't received mine either…it was the one where you got a produce coupon when you shared it with others right?

        • millie

yes that is the one.  have not seen mine as of today and the coupons expire on the 15th of this month..  not sure what happened or if there is a number to call.

      • Ssmithet

I never got it either.  I am looking at my mail carrier suspciously.  She hasn't been doing a good job lately of delivering  all the mail and in a timely manner.

        • Laura

My carrier's not too up to date either, last month I got an ad on the 26th that said right on front “time sensitive, postman please deliver 7/11 to 7/13”.

Have not rec'd the publix stocking spree yet (Atlanta)

      • millie

where is everyone from who did not get theirs??  i was just wondering to see if maybe it was a regional thing.  i found a phone number it is 1-877-307-8359.  i am going to call tomorrow just to see what they say.  i will let you all know.

    • Holly1853

How do you get the 10 dollars off of 2 Enfamil formula coupons? I am part of the baby club and did not get one.

      • Laura_willoughby08@hotmail.com

    • Dvalladares71

does anyone have the code for the banquet coupons?  and does anyone know how to get the ketchup coupons.  that zip code wont work for me.  thanks

    • akmilly

Deal alert if you got a raincheck for the Shout Bogo from last week (the Publix stores here in Huntsville get hit hard by shelf-clearers)– Target has a coupon for $1.00 off the purchase of two Shout laundry products. Couple that q with the two manufacturer q's for 55 cents and you've got two bottles of Shout for around 45 cents a piece! :)

    • Fulfordsa

Lysol.com free rebate form for wipes if you buy 3 lysol products one of which is the wipes. with the deal listed about you get three lysol products for a good price once you mial in the rebate.

    • Chris

So sorry to hear from the folks who still have not received their coupon books in the mail!  I will say I got mine a few weeks ago.  I also just got my ConAgra rebate gift card in the mail – WOOHOO!  I am shocked and amazed to actually get one – usually when I do a rebate they find something wrong so they can deny it (like I didn't dot an I or something stupid).  Three cheers to Publix and ConAgra for this promo.  Free groceries here I come.

    • Destiny691966

Went to publix this morning to get a head start on my shopping. I got everything on my list, two ketchup's, 6 lysol cleaners, 6 soft scrubs, 6 yogurts, 6 advils, 2 barber chickens, 6 cat treats, and a lip ointment. Got to the checkout and everything went great until she got to my Lysol coupons, They wouldnt take them because they are not for the cleaner they are for the disinfectant spray. So dissappointed but still had a good day, got everything on my list and still paid less than 14 dollars, and saved over 73. Good day in my book would have been better with the overage though. I havent gotten any of my coupon books either.

    • Tmfloves

I went to publix this morming and saw that the lysol coupon in the baby book is for the can only, not for the spray that is on sale this week. Is ther something i saw wrong?

      • Destiny691966

Got the same here Im in North Florida and my coupon was for the can spray and they wouldnt take it…Bummer was really excited about the overage since it is a rare occurance here.

    • Kaykel2

where do you get the publix savings booklets or home mailers…I can't find where to sign up?  Please help, thx.!

      • Chris

Some flyers and booklets are available in-store.  You can also go to their website and sign-up for their main booklets to be mailed to you.  Every once in a while they offer a special promo like the Stocking Up booklet and that is a one-time deal – if you miss out you just have to watch for the next one.  Keep an eye on this site and Jenny will let you know when a new one-time book is available but also always check your local store for new books when you stop – sometimes they may get something before anyone else knows about it (and be sure to ask Customer Service just in case they have them there and not out).  HTH

      • Jamie

I'm not sure about the booklet for Publix I tried to get one earlier and it kept kicking me out. But as far as the mailers, you can google circulators and they will pop up, you will have to fill out the info with address and stuff but one is called, red plum. But when you go to red plum, you'll see other links to go to. Good luck…

    • Amuse663

The Blue Diamond Almond Breeze beverage was not on sale at my Publix :-(

    • Maryljames31

Did anyone in the ATL receive the $5 off $30 purchase coupon?

      • Airene6034

I live in Orange City, FL. I received that coupon, used it today. Grocery bill was $145 and only paid $55 OOP!! Woo-Hoo!

Thanks for the website and all the hard work!

        • Danielle

Lucky you! I live in Deltona and didn't get it. :(

        • Tiffanyy

Which Red Plum flyer was it in?  Last Sundays?

      • Jennifer Baugus

Yes, mine came in a Redplum circular in the mail.

        • Barbe

Do you get the Red Plum coupons with the circular? I checked my RP that comes in the mail, it didn't have it in it. I don't get the coupons, just the junk advertisements.

    • Donner_1983

okay so I am completely new at this whole coupon thing. I can find all the manufacture coupons but where do you locate the store coupons? Are they in the paper? Please Help!!!

      • Llmartin44

you can ask foe them in the store for the flyers, and you can go to publix.com and print directly from them. hope it helps, and good luck :)

      • Chris

Jenny offers a good tutorial on this site – I would suggest it for anyone new to couponing.  Store Qs come out for Publix in various books and special issue flyers from time to time.  They also put out a Yellow and Green Advantage flyer regularly that will both have store Qs in them.  Always check your local store for coupon books (even their “magazines” have store Qs in them).  Even the Pharmacy will have Q books there.  This rule of thumb, above, applies to most stores not just Publix – checking their stores and websites should become routine.  I hear Jenny's workshop is great too so if you have an opportunity to attend one that might be good too – but the tutorial here is a great place to start.  HTH!  Good luck and happy couponing!

    • Chris

So the MDJ did not have any new $$off$$ Q in it as was posted yesterday.  Just the regular ad and penny item Q.  Oh well – maybe the new magazine will show up today and have some good Qs in it.  Happy couponing all.

      • Pat

I wonder if the $5off $30 is regional since it showed up in Greenville. Maybe they didn't have the one we just had that ended 8-10. Sure would be nice to have that one. Maybe it will be in the Evening Edge or Cobb Neighbor. I had to call and complain about the Edge delivery. Have not received one the last 3 weeks' even though they were circulated. My whole neighborhood did not get it.There are usually great Q's in the Edge.

        • Pat

Answer to myself. Not in my Cobb Neighbor. The $5off$30.

    • kim

My Publix run today was AWESOME! $204 total brought down to $71!!!  What makes this even sweeter, I live in Florida – where our stores do not double coupons. I had a great day!!!

      • kim

FYI..my store (Pembroke Pines, FL) had the Publix white bread on sale B1G1 free in the front of the store. I did not see it listed in the ad unless I overlooked it.

        • Hi Kim… awesome savings!!! I'm so excited to share my Totals savings of $38 and OOP is $40. I look forward to saving more than 50% like you… thanks for sharing and encouraging (me to be more patient. I took me all night to figure out that trip… it's like a scavenger hunt, and i get lost within the store looking for items.. Hilarious) Happy clipping!

    • Scarlettmjb

Hi there, I'm in Tampa, FL area and I don't see the Cascadian Farms veggies or MaraNatha almond butter in our flyer (online). Is this an unadvertised special? Thanks!

      • Firecutie13

I live in Palmetto (just south of tampa) my store has the cascadian farm coupon in the yellow flyer in the store and the almond butter was also advertised in there!

    • Jamie

I am having a hard time getting this, even when you make it seem so simple. I am just trying to save money so I can plan for my future, wedding. Just need to know how to start, I want to be like Kim and save that much money at the store. Just asking for a few steps of how to get started in the right direction.

      I live in Birmingham, Alabama.

      • Chris

Jamie – start with the couponing tutorial Jenny has here.  Above you'll see a link/button called “Learn to Coupon”.  That gets some of the basics for you.  Also review the coupon terms and abbreviations – those will help you decipher the lists posted and terms used.  If you have the chance Jenny offers a workshop that may be in your area – there is a calendar on the main page that shows upcoming dates so that may be good for you as well.

You're always welcome to ask questions on here by just posting – most folks will try to help if we can.  Welcome and happy couponing!

      Freschetta pizza 3.71- 1.00 MQ = 2.71
Fresh Express Salad 2.99 – 3.71 (free product Q, cashier accidentally put in price of pizza: oops! Didn't notice til I got home) = .28
      Milk 2.99
      Soft Scrub 1.65 – 1.50 MQ = .15
      Chips Ahoy 1.50 – 1.00 PQ = .50
      Garden Delight .95 – 1.00 MQ = +.05 MM
      Always pantiliner 1.19 – 1.50 PQ = +.31 MM
Cheezit 1.64 – .55 MQ (sheet of coupons when you donate $1 at register, a couple months ago) = 1.09
      7 Hunts Snack Pack (1.00 each) 7.00 – Two .55/2 PQ, One .45/2 MQ(doubled), One B3G1 MQ printable = 4.00 total
      10 Chef Boyardee (.89 each) 8.90 – One 2.00/10 coupon (Kroger mailer), Two 1.00/3 PQ = 4.90 total

*Used $3/$30 Recyclebank coupon (no longer available)
Total before coupons: 33.52 (including 15.90 of Conagra products)
      Total after coupons: 13.97
      Saved: 37.82

*Qualifies for Conagra $10 rebate: 13.97 – $10 rebate (mailed the second I got home, LOL) = $3.97 oop for all!

      • cg

oops, Fresh Express was priced at 3.99, not 2.99. I also could have saved a little more, but I only had two of the sheets for the conagra coupons. I technically could have used one more .55/2 snack pack PQ and one more 1.00/3 chef boyardee PQ. If the cashier had correctly typed in my free coupon for the sald, I would have saved .28 more. I could have saved 1.83 more!

      • that is an amazing savings! i like the way you breakdown the cost-coupons=(really makes you value your $penny way) I love it! I'm gonna do the same way… it's best for price check between stores too… Thanks for posting & happy clipping!

        • CG

Thank you! Couponing is my new favorite thing. I have always been a very “math-y” person. I love numbers! My family thinks I am crazy because I do most of the math in my head while I'm standing in the store (since sometimes the price listed here is off my a few cents in my local store). I genuinely enjoy breaking it down like this. I love to list off the deals to my mom over the phone so she can get the same deals, or to my husband when he comes late from work.
          Happy couponing to you, too!

      • CG, if the ConAgra product is BOGO (with 2nd item ringing up as free)… does it still qualify within $15purchase? Also, are coupons excluded from the total qualifying amount? >>>Sincerely, publix coupon newbie (2nd time shopper… so long fastfood for me)

    • Rachelcoupons4disney

Just FYI on the conagra rebate, most stores no longer carry the booklet but I called 888-532-8999 and they are mailing me the rebate form. Purchase has to be made by 8/26, but rebate can be postmarked up to 9/15.

      • Chris

So this is for the $10 rebate wyb $15 of ConAgra products in a $30 purchase right?  Does anyone know what products are included or qualify for the $15 requirement?  I know the last one was very specific.  If they don't have the forms in store just want to make sure I know what to buy before I get the form.  Thanks!

        • Dakota

Hunts ketchup, Chef Boyardee, Orville Redenbacker popcorn, Marie Callender's Pot Pies, Fresh Mixers and Frozen Meals, Healthy Choice Frozen meals, Novelties, Fresh Mixers and Soups, Peter Pan, Slim Jim, David Seeds, Banquet Chicken Pot Pies, Fruit Pies, and Frozen Meals, Crunch 'n Munch, Snack Pack, Libby's Canned Meats and Publix Chewy Chocolate Chip and Strawberry Fruit and Grain Bars.  I got $17 worth of these last night for less than $3.50.  :)

        • Me

If I recall, you think ordering coupons online is OK.  After no Conagra sheet was available in my area, out of curiosity I looked on ebay (not to order, but to confirm my suspicions that they would be on there) and guess what?  There are coupons from the current Conagra sheets for sale on ebay.  When people order from them, all it does is encourage them to take more and more so they can sell them.

          • Chris

To an extent – it's one thing to order Qs and pay for someone's time for clipping them and sorting them and what-have-you.  It's a complete other situation when they just steal the Qs from the store – either from products, store flyers, tearpads, and the like.  Theft is not at all work.  And I don't mind buying something and paying for true work for something I cannot find on my own.  But I don't like paying for someone's theft and deception.

Those last ConAgra flyers I had no choice – no store anywhere around me had them (they were all out and I went to SIX stores in about a 15 mile radius).  If I wanted one I was going to have to buy them.  And I wasn't happy about it either but I did what I apparently had to do – but not before wasting a half tank of gas to try and find them.

            • Liz

Both practices are fraud, so you are actually encouraging the behavior! Whether it be someone cutting them out and selling them or taking them from a store and selling them, they are both still being sold, and therefore voiding the coupon altogether. That’s like saying someone robbing a bank to give the money to charity is okay but someone robbing the bank to benefit themselves isn’t..it’s both wrong.

            • Chris

You’re absolutely right – I can’t disagree.  So the question becomes which is more tolerable or do you give up and just not get the deal?  Because someone is always going to be willing to pay.

            • Brooke

are you finally admitting that you might have been in the wrong for buying any coupons???

            • Chris

NO – but what I am saying is there are shades of grey and it is an issue that should be debated.  Is your position so weak that it cannot withstand debate?  I personally welcome it – I’ve been flamed many a time on here but live for a feisty debate.  It’s the discussion that counts – not necessarily the position you take.

            • Chris

Oh and get down off the cross sister.

            • Brooke

are you finally admitting that you might have been in the wrong for buying any coupons???

            • Chris

You’re absolutely right – I can’t disagree.  So the question becomes which is more tolerable or do you give up and just not get the deal?  Because someone is always going to be willing to pay.

            • Pat

The same honourable people that clip and sort  probably take whole tearpads and blinkies to sell. How would you know there sources. How do you know their True work. Give Ebay buying a break. Stop whinning.

            • Chris

I would ask the same question about donated goods and money not to mention money tythed to the church – how do you know it is used honorably?  Faith that not everyone is a crook.  And by your comment I assume you believe it is OK if you get peelies or tearpads from an ebay purchase.  Nice that you think I’m feeding the problem but then defend selling on ebay.

          • Pat

I think you are right Mary, If people didn't order them on ebay then maybe some would be left for others. Poor Chris, I feel like he has a gun to head and he has no other choice. This coupon thing can really get the best of us sometimes.

            • Chris

It’s one of those damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenarios.  If you do it then you’re feeding the problem.  If you don’t then you never get to see that Q.  We all have demons to battle and I guess this one is mine – and I hate being on the fence and condoning certain behaviour while chastising other activities.  I’m still going through all of the comments so I’m sure I’ve been flamed on here somewhere but I would be curious to know how many ppl use whole insert services vs clipping services vs ebay vs just buying whole newspapers.  I hate to give up but it seems the problem is becoming a can’t beat ’em then join ’em scenario.

How many ppl buy Qs (regardless of method) vs just take what they can get in their newspapers?  Sound off if interested.

Since we’re sort of on the subject what do ya’ll think about swapping/trading coupons? I mean I swap/trade coupons with people at work and some people on here because I don’t have cats or a baby and feel as though if someone needs multiples because of their situation why not give it to them? But I actually read a coupon and it does say void of reproduced, transferred…

My shopping trip at Publix today was great! I got :

16 x Whiskas Temptations Cat treats
      4x Dip for Chips
      14x Seasoning
      10x Sundown Natural Vitamins
      6x Lysol Disinfecting Spray
      8x Soft Scrub
      1x pack of Chicken
      Total before coupons: around $200
      Total after coupons: $15

      • Savn2gether

Great job on your shopping trip! I have a question about the Lysol Disinfecting Spray. The coupons I have look like they are for the disinfecting spray, but the Publix ad looks like only the all-purpose cleaner is b1g1. I was just wondering how it all rang up and if it was still worth buying the disinfecting spray. Thanks!

    • Selinalynn338

wher is the sweet savings booklet?

    • Selinalynn338

sorry, i meant to ask, where is the sweet savings booklet

      • chris

ask at the customer service counter

    • Wendy

Very disappointed at Publix today.  I was not able to use my “store” coupons for Herbal Essence and Chips Ahoy.  They said LU# on them, but they also said manf. coupon which I did not notice until the cashier said I couldn't stack them.  Bad idea Publix….writing an email to corporate now.

      • Destiny691966

I have never had this problem before, they have always taken both even states in there policy. 1 store and one manufacturer per item.

        • Freedomspradley1

Although the coupon has an LU# it says “manufacturer coupon” at the top like any other manufacturer coupon you use.

        • Destiny691966

That is a real bummer. Kinda glad I didnt get the booklet then cuz I hate being told I cant get something when I should be able to. Just makes me ill. Also what is up with the Lysol deal I dont get that one at. It states on here to use the lysol dysinfectant coupons on the deal but the stores wont take them so the good deal is really not such a good deal for those of us not really needing the cleaners.

          • Pat

One is a spray and the other is a trigger. Thats the difference.

      • Aztecblondie

Yes, and this has been brought up on these boards ALOT lately.  The stocking up coupon booklet is unique in that although the coupons look like Publix store coupons, they say manufacturer on them and that is exactly what they are.  Some cashiers were confused as well until they were notified by corporate that these were to be treated as manu coupons.  Hopefully Publix will think twice before they do this kind of booklet again.  While I'm so thankful that they do put out so many store coupons, the hallmark of a store coupon at Publix has been the LU#, so this has confused and frustrated many.

        • celser

I always separate my coupons out….manufacturer, public and then competitor.  And watch as they ring the up.

        • Guest

In the past the same type of booklet had coupons with a line that read “May not be used in conjunction with any other coupon.” Everyone got upset about those too… but the thing about “store” coupon booklets… it’s a deal made by the store (whichever store) WITH the manufacturer… these companies know what other coupons they are going to have out at the same time and they are trying to prevent paying us to buy their products…

        • Tljcnj

there are alot of stores going to this practice, i had someone tell me they wouldn't take my manufacturer coupon because it had another stores name on it so they consider it a competitor coupon which they don't take.  so I told them they could void the 300 transaction.  then manager overrode. imagine that

    • JenniferV

Just thought I would pass this along…My publix in Atlanta had the Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon on sale 3 for $8 plus there is $1. off  Target Oscar Mayer Bacon coupon. So it's makes them $1.67 ea. It's a great deal for my husband who loves bacon!!! :)

      • LaurainSC

Just for future info, Sam's Club has Oscr Mayer Turkey Bacon, 3 packs for 5.66. Not quite as good a deal as you got this time, but pretty good every day price. About $1.88 each.

        • CG

Yes, but Sam's Club has a yearly fee.

    • Atn2010chick

At Publix, can you buy only one of the BOGO items and still get it half price like BILO does?

      • Rubies20

depends on which one you go to you may want to call your publix to find out

        • Destiny691966

I live in North Florida and just found out that you have to buy both to get the deal, the first is full price and the second is free  but you can use a coupon for each one.

      • Aztecblondie

In Florida and some parts of South Georgia, you have to purchase both items; the first is full price, and the second is free.  I live in metro Atlanta, where our BOGOs are actually 1/2 price for each, so you can just buy one.  I am not sure about AL, TN, and SC, but I think they are also 1/2 price per each also.

        • akmilly

AL does it 1/2 price, too (in case anyone is wondering).

      • LaurainSC

Upstate of SC, you can buy just one of the BOGO items and get it half price.

    • Leahprice1969

Today was my very first attempt using coupons and your system….. I saved a total of $92.00 at My publix in Jacksonville Fl… I recieved so many great deals , My grocery bill went from my usual $300 dollars a week to $65, I hope to only get better with time I am so thankful for Southern Savers !!!!!

      • Krystalkoupons

does your publix in Jville double?

        • Tljcnj

          no

        • Guest

No Publix stores in Jacksonville double coupons. It's a Florida thing…

          • Anonymous

I may go to graduate school in Miami and this no doubling thing will break my heart.

    • Roxanne

How would I use the buy 3 get one free nabisco cookie coupon (Target) at Publix, since they are already BOGO?

      • Leahprice1969

I bought four and used my target B3G1 and two $0.75/2 nabisco 8/07/2011 SS insert and it made them $0.37 each

        • Roxanne

but if i only have the one coupon for b3g1 how many packages
would i put in my cart?

          • guest

            4

          • Tljcnj

buy 4 when they ring it up 2 will come off automatically then the coupon will take off another.  you are paying for 1 and getting 4.

    • Anna

I have what might be a really stupid question, but just bear with me.  I always see Publix ConAgra flyer, but I'm not sure where to find them.  Are they mailed to your house or are they in store?  If they are mailed to your house, how do you get on the mailing list.  And if they are in the store, are they located in the front with all of the other flyers?  Sorry…I'm a coupon newbie

      • Servia1280

Anna, is not a stupid question. The Publix coupon flyer are located at front of the store with all the others Publix ads and flyers. Good luck.

    • Trish52

Went to Publix today to purchase gas cards with my groceries.  The manager would only let me purchase 4 cards but no where on the coupon or on display did it say that there was a limit as long as you bought $25 worth of groceries for each card.  I tried to just split my groceries (since half of them were all ready rung up) but he said only 1 transaction per day.  I was a little upset since in the past I never had this problem.  Just a suggestion to call your publix to find out their policy but I am definately going to complain to corporate.  I think a limit should be posted.

      • Guest

If they were “shorted” any of the cards they ordered, they may just be trying to ensure that they can serve as many customers as possible… that is going to vary from store to store… my store=no limit… my old store=3 cards per day.

    • Jelischer

      i noticed my coupon for Orbit Gum 3pk, is $1/2 3pk not $1/1 3pk :(

      • Me

Mine too from the paper, but the one on Target's website is a printable manufacturer coupon. Use that one instead!

    • Eressea

Anyone else in the Atlanta area not have the Publix Orville Redenbacher coupon in their 7/31 SS?

    • LIZ_ABDINOOR

THERES A MORNINGSTAR Q ON TARGET.  ITS A STORE COUPON

    • Chris

Another bad experience on ebay:  From two different sellers one of which I KNOW uses this website.  You know who you are.  Bought some Mountain Dew coupons and they are TEARPAD Qs.  So now I see why I can't ever find peelies or tearpads – because they are being stolen and sold on ebay.  And with no pic shown you just have to kinda trust and see what you're going to get.  The sad thing is ebay and PepsiCo apparently don't care – I've attempted to report it and no one seems to want to be bothered.

Such a sad, sad state of affairs when ppl steal coupons from the store (tearpads and peelies and store Qs) and sell them on ebay then thank Jesus and God for their good fortune and luck.  That's not anything holy or to be thankful for – that's behaviour that should cause you to go to jail.  Again, no names because the ppl know who they are.

Had to vent – thanks for listening.  You will now be returned to your regularly scheduled program.

      • Just Say NO

Don't buy off ebay and you will be supporting the problem. :)

        • Chris

Yeah I'm going to have to stop – despite ebay being the only source for some Qs it's obvious where they're coming from now with 3 in a row.  And I really need this particular Q for Pepsi/Mt Dew 12pk products – I asked Pepsi for some and they said they didn't have any which is why I resorted to ebay.  I've not seen a Mt Dew Q in Atlanta in a LONG time – and when you buy in quantity (usually 25 to 50 12pks at a time) because you go through them at 1 per day any savings helps (yes I'm addicted to Diet Mt Dew – lol).

In fact if anyone ever gets these Qs I would be happy to trade anything for them – I don't ever use feminine, cosmetic, most HBA, baby, and most pet Qs.  But I would even part with something I would use in exchange.

          • Pat

Chris, when you bought these Mt Dew coupons you knew that you had not seen them in a Smart Sorce are Red Plum,so where do you think they are getting them from? You are unhappy that you didn't find the tearpad yourself. Buying on Ebay or from any of the people selling (oh yeah CLIPPING) coupouns just encourages this behaviour. It sure didn't bother you to buy those Target inserts.Seems like a bit of a double standard is going on. And about the blinkies and tearpads, what should the stores do? I guess they need the coupon Police so that the criminals out there won't take more than they need. I usually agree with you, However maybe you should stop buying coupons off of these sites.

            • CG

I think Chris means well and most of the time I think he is one of the coolest people commenting on this blog, but he doesn't understand that him buying these coupons makes him part of the problem. Like you said, if he knew there weren't any in SS or Redplum then they had to be the tearpads.
How about you do like me… my family only drinks tap water, regular milk and cheap coffee, and save all that money from buying Mtn Dew. I spend $0 on soda every year. Now that is savings! lol

            • Chris

See I have had some good luck on ebay but it apparently has come to an end.  I've tried clipping services but they charge so much and I think paying more than 10-20% of face value is just stupid (you're paying them all of your potential savings).

And I couldn't live without my sodas!  I know, my dentist and doctor would agree with you and maybe one day I'll quit.  :-)

            • Pat

Chris; what exactly is the legit way to buy the whole inserts they sell. I'm serious. I have never heard an explanation of where the clipping services get there coupon inserts. Do you know?

            • Pat

I'm referring to the people that sell the coupon inserts to others' not your way of buying. Doesn't it seem odd that they can buy these inserts to sell and know one questions where they get them.

            • Chris

There was one here in Atlanta that was getting them from a direct source from the paper but stopped because the cost was getting too high so they couldn't make a profit without resorting to something underhanded (they never had them early and only had them available on Sunday for shipment – you could pre-order or order on that day).  I ordered from them when I needed to but now that they are gone I've been looking elsewhere.  Therein lies the problem because I don't know about anyone else.  The other majors are selling in such quantity they have to be doing something similar.

But doesn't that apply to everything?  How do you know for sure the product you bought wasn't made using child labor in some 3rd world country (or even one component)?  Or that your product wasn't made using part from a supplier that pays substandard wages?  Or that it's definitely made using green energy as advertised?  Or…..?  The veil over what we buy has become more opaque than ever – do we ever truly know about anything we purchase unless we saw it made, make it ourselves, or grow it ourselves?

            • Mary

I wish I could see the comments that were flagged.  I don’t know if I am repeating what was said, but hopefully not.  “a direct source from the paper”. . .that is obtaining the coupons by illegal means.  The newspapers are supposed to be disposing of the coupons in a manner in which they can  not be taken and used or given and used.  They were encouraged to recycle, putting whole coupon inserts into recycle bins, but because of the dumpster diving, they are now being encouraged to shred and recycle.  Once again, read Jill Cataldo’s site.  There are many other articles out there also about how dumpster/recycle diving or obtaining coupons from the newspaper carriers is hurting couponing.  The manufacturers don’t like it and as it continues and spins more out of control, our couponing privileges will dwindle.  I wish there was a way to get back to just buying your Sunday paper (with the coupons actually in it, not stolen) and printing your 2 prints per computer of the IPs and being happy with the deals we get.  Unfortunately, almost every coupon blog I read mentions coupon clipping services and ebay as ways to obtain coupons.  We don’t need to call each others names.  Let’s just all try to make it a point to be better couponers.  In the end, it will benefit us all.

            • Lea

What you're NOT getting is that Chris was giving the seller the benefit of the doubt, that these Q's were regional and coming from newspapers that they had PURCHASED, not tearpads that they STOLE. Had photos of the q's been posted on the ebay auction and he had seen they were tearpad q's, he would have NEVER PURCHASED.

            • Chris

I think vigilance is going to be the key for us all as couponers.  Sadly it is going to come at a price – either missing the Q or deal altogether or there just being fewer Qs in the end.  No longer are the best deals going to be available to just anyone with some smarts and savvy – the best deals are now going to come at a price (moral or monetary).

            • cg

Thanks for using caps lock to yell, I wouldn’t have understood your point otherwise. Have a great day!

            • Chris

Remember that Qs are regional and different for diff zip codes (think about Jenny's posts when she sends out her Q alert that sometimes the Q is listed for a certain zip only).  So I was giving the benefit of the doubt – I used to see these Qs all the time (in fact, Target used to do a store Q for $1/2 Pepsi product 12pk but hasn't done one in a year – and I usually combined that with their gc deal they offered [5 12pk for $15 and get $5 gc back]).

And no it didn't bother me buying the whole inserts – those services have a legit method of purchasing their inserts, typically, but as I said is still a grey area.  Do I wish the tearpads had been here?  Sure – but I certainly wouldn't have taken more than a few despite the ability to use more than that.  I guess my tolerance for the grey area is high – too high – and purchasing papers is going to be the way to go.  I even contacted the AJC about a bulk subscription (5 to 10 papers a week) and was told NO – they only home deliver 2 max.  And with ppl stealing the inserts in the store that just makes it all the more difficult.

I miss the days where there were fewer of us who took advantage of Qs.  It's a double-edged sword couponing.

          • see that's more like it… trading coupons. Sharing is caring, but not share to sell (shame on ebay coupon sellers, shame, shame shame!)

            • Tljcnj

ok so what about coupon buyers? as previously stated they are void if transferred or sold.  so why are the sellers any worse than the buyers.

            • Chris

It's a vicious cycle.  Buyers wouldn't have to buy if ppl weren't stealing them from papers and the like.  And ppl wouldn't be stealing them to sell if there weren't buyers for them.  The real question should be how do we, as serious couponers, break the cycle yet still get the Qs we're looking for?  If you can answer that, with a viable solution, then you're smarter than most.  Even reporting theft has become ho-hum – no one seems to care anymore.

            • Brooke

i agree with you.. buyers are just as guilty as sellers…and ebay sellers are as guilty as the coupon clipping services.. I mean, I really have to believe these clipping services are stealing papers or something because how does someone end up with THAT many coupons. and If they are paying for each paper.. then they are hogging them. I can barely find a paper by 10am sunday morning anymore. I've driven AN HOUR to find sunday papers!!!

The truth is trading to could be considered unethical if you really want to look at the issue from all sides.. I mean isn't technically trading a form of payment?? I'll give you this coupon for another coupon… I don't sell coupons but I just can see the issue from both perspectives.. I hate to say it but in the coupon world.. the lines can be blurry between whats right and wrong.

          • Hope

Chris If I ever get any I’ll be glad to trade you for any Enfamil or Pampers :) Or just give them to you period as I won’t use them. Best of luck to you

            • Chris

Thanks – they’re yours!  It is appreciated.

      • Me

Wow, Chris, you are almost saying exactly what I said last week (and every week before).  When people purchase from them, it just encourages them more.  That is why every chance I get I make mention NOT to buy from them.  I have contacted Publix corporate about their coupons being sold on ebay.  I guess there is not much they can do. I know the CIC sent letters to many ebay sellers with little result.  Sorry you had a bad experience.

        • Chris

Just frustrating.  Surprised someone spoke up and said they do this.  I was trying to keep them anonymous – they knew who they were so names were unnecessary.  You try to do the right thing and save some money but it end up costing you in the end because there are lots of ppl out there taking advantage of everything they can.  Really disheartening.

          • Debbiesc

I agree with you, I take 2 at the most, one for now and one for later.  This is going to stop the manufacturers from even providing them any longer.  Just sayin!  I love couponing, but we have definitely have been given a bad name by those that take advantage of the system!

      • Shennasface

Well, I have to speak for the other side.. I sell coupons on ebay, and most of the time they are tearpad coupons, and I do not steal them. How can you steal something that is free? That doesn't really make sense. Now I never take the whole tearpad, but I do take a few every other day or so (allowing anyone else to get some also) and then sell them. So sorry you feel that way. Why do you say “Tearpad coupons” like it is something bad, what did you expect? You are in fact buying coupons from someone arent you?

        • Mary

Oops, definitely didn't mean to like your post.  Hit it by mistake instead of reply.  Tearpad coupons are there for the customers IN the store, not for you to take and  sell.  In fact, it is illegal to sell them, which you just stated you do.

        • Chris

Like Mary says it is actually against the terms of the Qs published for use – ALL Qs specifically state they are void if transferred, sold, or otherwise assigned.  And yes it is stealing – those Qs belong to the manufacturer (whether they be tearpads or peelies or blinkies).  Those Qs were put out for people to take and use, now or later, for the purchase of their product by the person claiming the Q displayed.  They were NOT put there for someone to use to start an online business for profit selling something that doesn't belong to them.  And I'm not paying someone to steal something and sell it to me – if I'm buying a Q online I'm purchasing something I could not find otherwise (and put the effort into finding), have no other alternative, but feel it is fair to compensate someone for their time and effort cutting, sorting, etc.  This is what makes everyone mad – to go into a store and find tearpads empty, peelies missing, blinkies empty, and books unavailable – because they're all gone for no good reason.  For all the bitching the CIC and manufacturers are doing it doesn't seem to me they are doing a whole lot of anything about it.

As an end note, I used no names and was trying to vent to those who knew who they were.  Now you identified yourself to everyone on this site – would have been better for you if you had just kept quiet.  Because there's no way you could have just taken a few each time you're in the store and still sell the quantity you had/have listed online unless you are in the store every. single. day.  While I applaud any effort to make some extra money through legit methods this is the type of thing that gives couponers, and ebay in general, a bad name.  Why not put together a couponing guide and sell that?  Or maybe start teaching a class locally (maybe even team up with Jenny as an extension of Southern Savers for that area)?  Or even start a clipping service.  I've sold a lot of stuff on ebay – all electronics and computer hardware I personally acquired (through trade or purchase or on the lucky occasion for free) – and stopped because of the crappy buyers and the hassle it took to sell something (so now I just donate it wherever I can so it helps someone else and I still get a tax write-off at the least).

Yes my continued use of ebay may encourage the behaviour but so does using a clipping or insert service because those aren't supposed to be selling Qs either.  But we are then into a grey area – the Qs aren't supposed to be sold but at least they were acquired through legit means.  ebay will now be my last resort for Qs I can't seem to find anywhere else – which means they will most likely be tearpads, peelies, or blinkies.  Just really unfortunate for everyone who coupons that this continues to occur – knowing what happens on ebay I should have known better.  Sad to have to pay higher prices through other venues just to continue to stay as legit as possible.

          • Pat

So are you going to use those STOLEN coupons? I guess you have no other choice. You could pay full price. Oh no that would be illegal.

            • Chris

I actually have a whole stack that I threw out.  Cost me $5 but there it is.  This new batch I'll probably use enough to cover my cost and toss the rest – and am now soured on buying anything off ebay period.  Still waiting on a response from PepsiCo but appears there won't be one.  So what would you do Pat?  Just toss them all and chalk it up?

            • 4boysmom

What about trading coupons?   Is that against the coupon terms?  Technically that is transferring coupons to someone else.  Always wondered about that.

            • Pat

Don't toss them'. USE THEM' then don't buy from Ebay again. I will be on the lookout for Mt Dew coupons for you. You shouldn't have to do without your Dew!

            • BCT

Since most coupons (even those clipped from the paper) say “void if sold, transferred” etc, then aren’t you actually participating in something illegal by just buying the newspaper-clipped coupons? Aren’t they supposed to be “void” when sold to you?

            • Chris

And here’s where the merits and points of the debate should come in.  If it is a common practice then does that still make it wrong?  How wrong?  If you’ve fallen into a grey area how grey is too grey?  Even trading Qs would technically violate that statement on the Q if adhered to explicitly.  You know, I started out really mad and irritated but have really enjoyed the debate portion when logic and common sense prevail – some very interesting points have been brought up.  However as couponers I think we find ourselves in a self-perpetuating cycle – we buy because we cannot find and they are sold because there are buyers.  But if we could find does that mean there would be no buyers?  Are we perpetuating the cycle or taking advantage of a deal that we wouldn’t otherwise get because someone stole all of the peelies and tearpads and blinkies?  Or are we encouraging the behaviour by buying period (thus creating the market regardless of source)?

Discussion and debate leads to being educated and enlightened as well as understanding the whole picture.

            • CG

I don’t buy, sell or trade coupons. I can usually find what I need, and if not then I either just buy it when it’s B1G1 and consider 50% to be a good deal, or I don’t buy it and wait for another deal to come along. I am not brand loyal to anything except Tide, Duke’s mayo, Heinz Ketchup and French’s mustard, so I just get what I can find on my own and never go beyond that. I haven’t had a problem saving 65-90% on almost every grocery bill (every now and then it’s 50-55%) since I started couponing 8 months ago

          • Liz

Just to let everyone know, as I work for Publix, our stores don't always get credit for coupons being turned in! We send our coupons out to a sorting center and they have guidelines they follow to catch fraud, whether it be copies or coupons from clipping services (they can tell by the way they are cut), and refuse to grant them. So if you're purchasing coupons from these kinds of services you really are stealing, because stores won't get credit for them, and if it happens enough the stores can be fined and/or unable to accept coupons all together!

As for people taking them and selling them, you are also in the wrong as they are not intended and even state to be void if sold, transfered, etc, so in fact you are stealing as they are not meant to be used in that manner. For people to take the coupons because they know they are limited and selling them to the people you stole from in order for them to even get a coupon is fraud!

Both sides (purchasers and sellers) are in the wrong, and if it doesn't stop it's going to ruin couponing for everyone, whether it be changes in coupons all together or stores not accepting coupons at all.

            • Chris

Thanks for the info Liz!  Something I did not know was the whole “way they are cut” identifier (despite trimming my own regardless of source).  So I guess that makes the decision – buying whole papers.  Now if I can only find somewhere to get them where I know they keep an eye on them so the inserts aren't missing (and I know I'll consistently get the correct inserts).

            • akmilly

I've bought coupons from clipping services before and they didn't look any different. I don't think I'll be using them again, considering – but how innthe world would they be able to tell if you or someone else clipped them?

            • Lea

They look for indications that the coupons were mass cut, IE multiple insert pages were stacked and cut at once, same shapes and cutting mistakes.

            • akmilly

While I understand the premise, I don't think that is fair. I buy 4 papers and was considering buying one of those slicer things to save me time. I guess I'll stick to scissors just to be safe, though! Lol

            • Mary

It is called gang cutting.  It is actually mentioned in Rite Aid’s new coupon policy that they won’t accept gang cut coupons.  Jill Cataldo (the awesome coupon blogger that brought to light the fraud on TLC) has some excellent posts about gang cutting and how buying coupons online is viewed by the manufacturers.  If y’all haven’t looked at her site, you really should.  It is quite interesting.

            • Chris

What an excellent article – thanks!  I never thought about it and I group cut all of my Qs (although I admit to being completely anal about what they look like so cut them perfectly every time – even trimming Qs that don’t come out just right).  Thanks for the info!

          • shrimpfriedrice

Chris, chill out. Get a life and don’t be a hypocrite. You have said enough. Your words have contradicted themselves, hence making you a fool. “Take the log out of your eye before you trying to remove the spec out of your brothers eye.” What are you the coupon police? You have turned this enjoyable family site into something horrid and displeasing to read. This is Jenny’s site anyway, if you want to go and argue about coupons matters make your own site. Quit making accusations that you yourself are guilty of. I feel sorry for you pathetic, coupon obsessive, no life, feeding on the hopes and dreams of newly couponers life. I am sick to my stomach thinking about how rude you have been and how obsessive you are about the whole thing. I’m done. Gonna go get me some blinkies! ; )

            • cupones911

Shrimp-girl, well said (hypocrisy its hardly seen by the one at fault, but justified to them by their ignorance). I’m just wondering, I get 2 newspapers, and some circulars that are free and have (RP and PG) coupons, and also get some free coupons inserts from friends. Soooo my question, I dont have cat’s, use my own make up (not store purchased), don’t use vitamins, and I don’t use coupons for these items. I have zillions of them & I don’t trade (yet), I dont see that problem at making these coupons available to others in other regions of USA, like I hardly NEVER get toothpaste coupons! So I will buy them from Ebay, so it is obviously LEGAL. When it becomes illegal, then of course it will be of a concern. I wonder how all this Extreme couponers do it, seriously. I have serious doubts that they come only from their Sunday News paper. Give it a break, quit judging as not to be judged. Not a regular at posting, though a regular reader and lover of SS. Have a bless day!!

        • Jackie

If you take more than you are going to use during your visit or for personal use…you are indeed stealing them.  It is people like you that are causing stores in my area to start putting their ads with coupons behind the counter.  It's ridiculous!  We go into stores to shop and look for these coupons on displays and here you are selling them….you can try to justify it any way you want, but it's still theft.  Most of the coupons that are sold on ebay are from people clipping them out of the newspaper — not stealing them out of stores.  There are people in my area who have gotten caught doing this and the stores have been telling them to leave and don't come back!

          • omg… banned from grocery shopping??? how unbelievably embarrassing… shame, shame, shame..

          • Shennasface

Well, I never ever said that I sell STORE ADS or flyers! I have been told by several people after I ASK to take as many tearpad  or blinkie coupons as I would like, so your problem isnt with “people like me.” So don't be so quick to judge or be rude

            • Mary

You're not going to win this one.  Just stop taking more than you will personally use.  It is not right and I think you know that or you wouldn't be so defensive.  The CIC is continuing to work with manufacturers to stop the illegal sale of coupons.  You will eventually be stopped sooner or later.  At least there are many of us that have a clear conscience in respect to our coupon use.  It is people that abuse the intended system that will cause all of us to miss out.  Have you not noticed the higher value coupons diminishing, or the expiration dates getting shorter?  It is in effort to stop people from selling them.

            • Pat

Mary is right.Ihope they do stop the selling of coupons.

        • Lea

He SHOULD have been able to take some for free from the tearpad also, NOT have to BUY them from you or anyone else.

        • Lea

And shame on you. You're stealing. Not just the tearpad q's, but you're stealing from people who just want one or two q's to save on a product that q's are hard to come by. You didn't get those q's in your sunday paper or from inserts given to you from friends/relatives/neighbors who don't coupon, you stole them from a tearpad made to benefit everyone. Shame on you. Next time you see an empty tearpad for a product that you really wanted to purchase, remember that that's how we all feel when you steal the tearpad and what goes around comes around.

      • Brooke

Chirs.. I don't ever find tearpad coupons hardly because there not common in my area, but when I have.. I did take a few.. and then i to wondered if what I did was stealing.. So I went and talked to a friend of mine and her husband who happen o own a gas station to find out whether this would be considered stealing… Her answer.. is it stealing from the gas station?? NO.. the gas stations do not own these coupons.. The people that restock the displays (workers from that manufacturer) put those coupons up (with permission of course) in order to promote there products. So the gas station, in most situations could care less what people do with these coupons..sometimes they don't even really now that they are there..

Now is it stealing from the manufacture's? Answer.. NO. the manufacture's want you to buy there products.. they don't really care whether you are buying them from the Exxon you got the coupon from or at the publix down the street.. regardless you are choosing their product over the competition and spending money on their items.. the whole point of the coupons!! For companies, these coupons are a means of marketing their products.. Being a marketing major myself, I seriously doubt these companies have the time to worry about who is using their coupons and how many.. all they care about is their products are being sold!!!

Now as for selling them.. its really no different than selling OR trading any other coupon.. They are FREE coupons, they WERE NOT stolen.. and now a person is selling them.. Taking the whole tearpad, yes that is greedy.. but as long as a person isn't going in a gas station everyday stealing who tearpads.. then WHO CARES?!?! People get so worked up on this website saying “this is right, and this is wrong” when the truth is.. nobody really knows.. they just have their opinion. And mentioning God?? Let God do the judging.. that's HIS job.. not ours.

Hope I didn't offend anyone, but I think people are getting unnecessary stones thrown at them

        • Chris

Now I would have to disagree.  The CIC, a manufacturer/coupon issuer association, believes that it's all wrong and punishable by law.  The manufacturers I have spoke with when I called in to try and get Qs have told me they don't like it either but find there isn't a whole lot they can do.  But that is their property – they paid to produce it, they pay the marketing costs, and they pay the redemption cost.  If it's not working as intended time after time then why bother to continue?

Oh and it's all opinion.  But keep in mind that perception is reality – not necessarily truth.

          • Brooke

While I am not necessarily saying that people should just go in stores and take tearpad coupons or peelies.. I just don't think you can call it theft.. It is definitely not stealing from the gas station or grocery store because they DO NOT OWN the coupons. If the manufacturer's don't like it then they should discontinue tearpad and peelie coupons.. Some man. may care.. but the truth is as long as there making there money from somewhere.. I seriously doubt they care where or how.. The truth is these big companies out there.. well there the least ethical of anyone…MOST  only care about making a pretty penny.

            • Chris

That has become a problem for almost everyone – sometimes more isn't better it's just more (whatever it is including money).

    • lyndsey

      Hey everyone,

I just got home from Publix and want to ask some of the Publix coupon experts if what the cashier just told me is correct. I needed Philadelphia cooking creme, which wasn't on sale, so I searched the database for coupons. I found a printable buy one/get one and a .75/1, both Publix q's (which I didn't even realize until I was at checkout). The cooking creme was $2.69 so I was thinking I'd get one free and .75 off the other, making it under $1 for both. I maybe had 6 coupons total for all my stuff, including the 2 cooking creme ones, and when the cashier got to those she let out a HUGE sigh, shoved a printed out copy of Publix's coupon policy in my face and loudly told me they can't accept two Publix coupons for the same item, even if I have multiple items. I told her that was fine and that I'd use the bogo coupon and she said “I'm assuming you didn't know this since you tried this, and even if you did know don't tell me you did because I don't want to know, but I will go ahead and do it this time”. She said this VERY condescendingly and loudly in front of everyone behind me, like she wanted to embarrass me for trying to use two coupons. Well, I get home and look on my receipt and all she did was take off the .75 twice. So I lost my bogo coupon.

So I want to ask you guys, is it really against their policy to accept a bogo coupon and a .75/1 coupon for two of the same item if they are both Publix coupons? I want to know for next time but either way I'm extremely annoyed at how rude this girl was and how she didn't even ring them up right when she was “going to take it..just this once” and basically cheated me out of $2.

      Thanks!!

      • Mrscori2006

All I can say is, I would definitely contact corporate. Publix customer service is supposed to be better than that. I'm surprised with her attitude she still has a job there

        • Lindsey

Publix takes customer service VERY seriously.. my mother in law had a similiar situation at her Publix in FL where she was right, the cashier was wrong- and the cashier was a complete jerk. After going to the customer service desk, the next day a corporate manager was calling MY mother in law, asking what he could do to help the situation, etc. Call corporate right away. I've said it before, but there are too many people who don't have a job, and would LOVE her job- for her to act that way!

      • Jess

you should have been able to use both coupons i think b/c you were purchasing TWO items….so the BOGO coupon would mean you get the 1 free, so the one that you BUYING you should've been able to use the .75/1 on , IMO. i would be calling the manager in the morning and explain the situation and regardless of what s/he says about the q, the way you were treated was wrong. you can also email corporate through their website. good luck!!

      • Chris

Yeah that was uncalled for.  You need to notify the store management at the least or you could report it to customer service.  Keep in mind the cashier's name is on the receipt and they're going to want to know who it was specifically.  She not only has a bad attitude but is completely incorrect with the policy – I use a BOGO Q with a $$/1 manuf Q at Publix all the time at more than one store (and even have stacked a store Q or competitor Q on the manuf Q) without issue.

The BOGO Q applied to one item while the $$/1 Q applies to the other – this is a legit stacking method.  I would have even tried to find a manuf Q to stack with the $$/1 Q (I think I still have some as a matter of fact).

      • Carter

I’ve had no problems with buying two philly cooking cremes and using the Publix BOGO, the Publix $0.75 off and two Manuf $0.75 Qs.  You are allowed to use 1 store Q and 1 Manuf Q for each item purchased (even if one of the items is free).  Some cashiers are very professional and take their jobs seriously.  Others are complete morons with bad attitudes.  Not to worry though…those probably won’t be there very long  Keep trying different cashiers until you find a couple who know what they’re doing.

        • Chris

Or the ones that treat Qs as them having to open their wallets and pay for personally.  Sometimes you’ll get one that treats you like you have your hand in their purse or something.  So uncool.

anyone know the code for the banquet coupons?

        • tay2much

I am new also . what do you mean by code?

          • guest

when you go to the website to get the coupon it will ask you for a code before you can print it.

        • guest

          thanks so much!

    • Amanda

Hi! So I'm pretty new to couponing and I know that you can't use more than one manufacture's coupon for one item but can you use more than one for the BOGO deals? Even though one of them will be free? Thanks!

      • Chris

Most of the time yes.  There are instances where you can't stack but for the most part the BOGO Q applies to the one item while another $$/1 Q would apply to the item being paid for.  YMMV so you have to figure out your local store and how they handle Qs before you will know for sure what you can and cannot do – unfortunately it varies from store to store.  HTH.  Good luck!

    • Mrscori2006

I've seen a lot of people saying they weren't able to use the Lysol disinfectant coupon on the trigger spray. But on the same page in the SS 8/07 insert, there was a coupon for $1/2 Bathroom or All-Purpose trigger sprays. Not as good as free, but 2 for $1.69 is good enough for me!

    • Me

Clean and Clear products weren't in my sale ad or marked on sale at the store. I'm pretty bummed about this, it's one of my “must have this brand items.” One of the few things I'm willing to pay full price for so I was stoked to get it on sale. First time Jenny's post for Publix didn't match up to my store's sale :-(

At my Publix, they would not let me use the 'stocking up' coupons as store coupons b/c they say manufacturer coupons at the top, but they have a Publix code. Has anyone else had the same problem?

      • Danielle

Yes, two stores both told me they recieved word from corprate that those Qs are to treated as manufacturer Qs.

        • Jnschuler

          thanks

          • LuvNQPs

I didnt know this on Wednesday when I went to the store but it made the Nabisco deal real sweet I bought..three packages and use two $1/1 from the stocking spree and Targets Buy Three get one free…paid NOTHING…they owed me $0.22 towards my other stuff…

      • Guest

There was an email sent to the store to remind the stores that they are manu. and not store coups.

I have a coupon for 5 dollars off two Therma care or Advil I printed.  Well my daughter was helping me cut the coupon out and cut off the exp date.  Does anyone know if it is exp or not

      • Tonya

Mine doesn't expire until 9/3…hope that helps :)

    • Themartins55

the soft scrub deal was great!!! got 6 bottles for .87 !

    • Tonya

So terribly frustrated yesterday when I attempted to buy 1…JUST 1…softscrub – none to be found…is it really necessary to completely wipe out the shelf??  I mean, when I go to buy my baby's formula, I never take every last bottle – even if could use it within the week…be considerate, please.  (And yes, I did get a raincheck, but I shouldn't have to)

      • April

It is ridiculous to blame others for not leaving you a bottle of soft scurb.

        • Michelle

Why???  Why is it necessary to clear a shelf of stuff you will just clear the shelf of again in 6 wks?  BE CONSIDERATE.

        • stephanie

you must be the ones who wipe out the shelf

          • cg

My store only had 10 when the ad started. So if 10 people all get 1 (or 5 people get 2- that would be reasonable too) then it's gone. Some items don't have a ton of stock, sorry.

        • KAW

I totally agree….unless you actually saw someone clear the shelf you don't know how many customers were there before you……why assume it was one shelf-clearer…..

      • Michelle

RUDENESS.  You know these same people are just going to go back in 6wks when there's another sale and keep doing it.  Wish more stores had limits.

      • daisysmom

I bought 2 Soft Scrub on Wednesday morning at the start of the sale.  I was very surprised that they only had about 8 bottles on hand.  I don't understand why they don't keep more stock on hand of the sale items.  Surely they know there will be a great demand for these products.

        • cg

This! I went shopping at 9am, so only 2 hours into the first day of the ad. They only had about 8 or 10 total on hand, and it was obvious I was the first one going for them. I only got 1. Just because they are gone in the afternoon doesn't mean someone cleared the shelves. 10 people could have each come and got 1 and then they're gone. Don't get so mad, just get a raincheck.

          • Chris

And when you get your raincheck ask when they expect to get some more in.  A lot of times they know it will be on the next truck, or if they're having trouble getting it, and will tell you when to come back in again.

      • akmilly

Every time I see a cleared shelf I get frustrated…but then I remind myself that there is always a silver lining. Sometimes new q's come out that make your raincheck a better deal. Remember when Shout was bogo at Publix a few weeks back and with q's it was 95 cents? Well of course my Publix was cleared in a day but I got mine yesterday with the original q AND got to stack it with a Target q that wasn't out when the deal ran…making it half the price of the original deal. Just keep getting your rainchecks and being an honest couponer. ;)

        • bootsiegirld

what is the expiration date of a raincheck at Publix?

          • Mrscori2006

30 days from the date it is written, I believe.

            • akmilly

              You are correct!

            • Chris

Although if they are having trouble getting stock they may extend that – YMMV.

      • Mrscori2006

Where do you live? I live in McDonough, GA and I went to the store on the afternoon of the first day of the sale (Thurs.) and they had at the most 10 softscrubs left. I took my two and at checkout I asked if they were adhering to the limit 10 on BOGOs. The cashier said yes, but that 5 ladies had come in that morning and checked out one after the other, all of them getting the limit. She said it looked like they were all together so maybe some folks are just being ridiculously rude. This is why I have pretty much started price matching at Wal mart. I just happened to be closer to Publix yesterday and took a chance that they would have everything in stock. Much to my utter shock and surprise, they did for once.

      • Me

Last week at my publix they were out of SEVERAL items. I've only had to get a raincheck once before so I was really shocked. Every aisle an employee was there to apologize and offer to get me a raincheck, they even offered to unload a truck to get some pot pies for me. I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of help, anyways I did end up asking why they were out of so much. It turns out there automatic re-order system wasn't working properly so basically they didn't have anything ordered. They were very apologetic and promised they had solved the problem. Don't know if it was all stores or just mine, but this could be part of the problem.

    • Realbecca

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but my Publix in Jacksonville FL said they never have a sale on their milk.  I tried the last time Southern Savers said it was on sale.  I'm guessing that's another FL policy.

      • ashley

Im in JAX as well, most of the regionals we dont seem to get here.

      • Lane Richeson

I'm in Clearwater we never get milk on sale either! So jealous of those that do!

    • Chris

The legal loophole doesn’t justify the activity – stop defending the practice of taking free Qs and selling them.  They are selling the Qs – just a nicer way of getting past the rules to say they aren’t and you’re paying for their time.

    • Savn2gether

Has anyone had any trouble purchasing the lysol disinfectant spray at the sale price with the coupons? The coupon in the baby bargain booklet looks like it's for disinfectant spray, but the weekly ad looks like the all-purpose cleaner is the one that's b1g1. Just wanted to check before I make my shopping trip. Thanks!

      • Wwkkss07

The aerosol spray bottle wasn't on sale, only the disinfectant cleaners…I didn't think it would work, or that it should work, so I just skipped it.

      • Coco

I had the same question yesterday as I stood in the cleaning aisle at Publix. I thought the cpn would only apply to the actual disinfectant spray, but another helpful couponing customer was pretty confident that it would work. If not, she suggested I just use the $1/2  Lysol coupon, which would work but wouldn't be a killer steal (I didn't have the store coupon). So, at checkout I handed the coupons to the cashier and she scanned them without hesitation. I was thrilled and relieved. It made the Lysol about $.33/bottle which is a bargain, in my opinion.

    • Brooke

well then i guess your guilty because you yourself buy coupons. you are being so hypocritical.

    • Brooke

well then i guess your guilty because you yourself buy coupons. you are being so hypocritical.

      • Chris

No hypocritical is defending the practice as legit because the amount charged is just for gas, postage, etc as in your last argument.

As I stated we’re all feeding the problem because it is a vicious cycle that feeds on itself – we buy Qs that we don’t get or cannot find but if we didn’t buy them they wouldn’t be sold however we wouldn’t have to buy them if we could get them locally – so on and so on.  So unless you’ve never bought a Q or insert – those who live in glass houses dear.

Oh and the Lord’s name should NEVER be invoked for any behaviour that is questionable – there is no blessing there.  St Peter’s going to have some questions on arrival you know.

        • Brooke

and I haven’t said anything about the Lord so what are you talking about..I also don’t participate in any questionable behavior.. just defending someone who I saw getting bullied and don’t believe to be 100% in the wrong so grow up please.

    • Brooke

and for your information, I have never sold coupons anywhere. Don’ have an ebay account. Never bought coupons either (besides paper’s). Only traded for them or had friends give them to me.. so no i’m not defending my actions. Just pointing out someone who I think is being a hypocrite.

      • Chris

Sure – funny how one person admitted to the practice and YOU show up to immediately defend them. And a name I don’t recognize as being a regular poster. Hmmmmm

        • Brooke

You sure are mature Chris. Your profile says your 36??hmm.. I am not a regular poster on the publix link because I don’t shop at Publix. I happen to be looking because I am traveling for work this week and going to be in the Greenville, SC area and thought if there were some great deals at publix I might swing by.. I always look at the comments because people will list other deals that they find at there stores and its a great place for information. Didn’t realize it was so dramatic. I don’t think the Harris Teeter comment section has bickering like this. Thank goodness.

just so everyone knows the stocking spree booklet that came through the mail which has the nabisco cookie coupon in it is actually a manufactur coupon it says it at the top. it just has a publix lookup number in it.

      • Mkerryann35

Although it had manufacture on the top of it I went to customer service and they stated they will accept as a store coupon so I was still able to use a paper manufacture coupon with it as well. Made it a good deal.

        • Tmallory65

My Publix wouldn't take it as a store coupon, they counted it as a mfr.  :(

    • Kbirberick

Does anyone know if the Target insert from 8/7 is inside one of the SS or RP inserts? I can't seem to find it and don't know what I'm looking for.

      • Aztecblondie

Most people did not receive that Target insert last week (if any), so don't go nuts looking for it.

        • Kbirberick

OK, thanks! I gave up after looking twice.

Is the Publix “Sweet Savings” coupon booklet new?

Yes. The customer service desk just gave it to me this week, and I check with them every time I shop. I got mine on Tuesday.

    • Coco

Does anyone recall seeing Splenda on sale for $.49? I can't remember which store this was at, but I thought I saw it listed advising using the $3.00 off cpn to make it $.49. I've looked through all the stores on here and don't see it. Maybe I just dreamt it??????

      • Ashanderic68

        it was at Kroger

      • Kelley

I got it at Food Lion for free.

      • Carter

I got it at kroger for $0.49.  Today i saw it at walgreens for $2.99…which would be free after the $3Q.

        • Coco

Thanks for letting me know everyone! I wish I had a Food Lion in my area, but $.49 is a super bargain.

    • Mkerryann35

Just so everyone know Target has a printable coupon for Redenbacher popcorn for $3/2. Since Publix has it B1G1 then you will get it for 1.44. Not bad.

      • LuvNQPs

Because that is a store QP don't forget to use the $1/2 coupon from the June All you..makes it $0.99 for both boxes….HOWEVER, my store manager allowed me to use the Target Coupon..but is actually states off of a 8count box, my publix only had the ten count…look closely

      • Bethannesavings

can you use a target coupon with a publix coupon? I have a publix coupon from the newspaper and then a target coupon..i'm not sure if they can be combined though…

        • Chris

No one or the other.  You can use 1 manuf Q and 1 store OR 1 competitor Q per item.  Obviously there are variations to this (ie. BOGO Qs, etc) but that's the basic rule.  HTH

    • Jen

Somewhat frustrated at Publix. I bought 3 Soft Soaps and 2 Soft Scrubs. I had coupons for all 5 items. Yet , i get home an d look at my receipt and she only scanned 2 Soft Soap coupons and 1 Soft Scrub coupon. I know it was only a few dollars, but I would not have bought the items at retail. Unfortunately, I did though. Anything I could do about now that I am home?

      • Natalie559

I would look on your receipt and call customer service with the name of your cashier and time of checkout.  They should be able to pull the coupons from her register and give you the value for them next time you are in.

      • Brenda

That happened to me one time, they just gave me the money for the coupons.  Call them.

      • Savn2gether

You could try calling customer service…. You might have a chance of getting a refund, especially if you can tell them which register you checked out at and the cashier still has all of the coupons…. Good luck!

      • Jennamariescoupons

No worries! This has happened to me several times. Our Publix is GREAT about this. One time I told them I was owed $1.75 from unscanned coupons….he didn't even question me and said “I'll give you $2.” Good luck!

    • Kbirberick

Has anyone else had problems with the Zephyrhills printable? I entered all my info and then a window popped up saying there was an error. So frustrating!

      • Coco

Yes, I tried it the other night and encountered the same issue. I haven't had a chance to try it again, but it sounds like there is still a problem.

      • Cindyhood

        yeah me too

      • Labgirl10

        I did

      • Peaceout0511

        Same here

    • AJ

There's a $3 off Tylenol Heat Patch in SS 7/31 also.

    • Kbirberick

The Publix coupon in the Big Baby Bargains booklet for $1 off Lysol Disinfectant is for the 19 oz CAN, I beleive the Lysol's the are BOGO are the spray bottles? So this coupon wouldn't work, right?

      • Coco

I don't have that booklet you're referencing, however, my Publix had the BOGO on the trigger disinfectant spray bottles (Lysol All Purpose 4 in 1 cleaner, Lysol Kitchen Cleaner, etc.). They allowed me to use the $1/1 from the newspaper cpns (which has a picture of the Lysol disinfectant spray can I think you're talking about) which made it about $.33 a bottle. Try it and see. If not, you can always use the $1/2 Lysol cleaners from the paper. Hope this helps.

      • Aztecblondie

You are correct.  A customer ahead of me in line tried to use it on the trigger spray and was not allowed.  It is for the disinfectant spray, not the cleaner.  People who are attempting to use it anyway are the reason couponers are getting a bad name.  An honest mistake is one thing.

        • Kbirberick

OK, thanks for the reply. ;)

      • Mrscori2006

There was a $1/2 trigger spray coupon in SS 8/07. Makes them 2 for $1.69, or 85 cents apiece. Which is a good deal in my opinion. The cheap stuff at the dollar store is more than that.

      • 3GAKids1521

Nope.  Cant use that coupon.  Two different items.  Was out of the Lyson Spray though so I brought my coupons thinking I could get a good deal on atleast one.  Well, they were $6.99 regular price.  I said no way.  I am just hoping that they go on sale before the 8/31 expiration date.

    • Lea

He SHOULD have been able to take some for free from the tearpad also, NOT have to BUY them from you or anyone else.

    • Natalie559

I would look on your receipt and call customer service with the name of your cashier and time of checkout.  They should be able to pull the coupons from her register and give you the value for them next time you are in.

    • Brooke

i agree with you.. buyers are just as guilty as sellers…and ebay sellers are as guilty as the coupon clipping services..

    • Kbirberick

The coupon for -$5 off Tylenol Precise product in the SS 5/8 insert has expired. :( And the “printable” link is for $2 off not $5.

    • Jpjlstansell

There is no Hunt's ketchup QP in my June All You mag. Is anyone else missing their's or am I crazy?

      • Aztecblondie

You are not crazy.  On the issues purchased at Walmart, there was a card stock coupon sheet in the center of the magazine, but those who get the magazine at home through a subscription apparently did not get the extra coupon insert.

    • Angelmj1019

Wow, wanted to read the comments to see if there were any other deals and read a soap opera script instead, lol. I figured I'd chime in too. I have used a clipping service for PG inserts before because they are not in our paper and I was informed that if I order the Atlanta paper they are removed, which I think is bogus. Any suggestions on how else I can obtain these, especially since you can no longer buy inserts and I don't know which coupons I'll want until the sales start. My sis is so lucky, her local dollar tree in a small MO town sells the Kansas City paper ( for $1 of course) with all inserts. Oh, and I'm in Valdosta, GA if that helps.

      • Labgirl10

I order whole inserts from insertinsanity.com

        • Angelmj1019

          Hello neighbor! ;)

      • Mary

You answered your own question.  Have your sister buy you a couple of papers and mail them to you.  My friend's mother sends her papers weekly.  Problem solved.

        • Chris

Agreed – that's probably the cheapest option.  Insert services will cost more with shipping most likely.  Good luck – hope you get them!

        • Angelmj1019

Thanks. That's what I'm working on with my sis now. Unfortunately by the time she remembers to mail it the Q's will be expired! Lol.

      • Jengrif1

The Macon Telegraph has PG Brand Savers often.  Can you subscribe by mail?

      • yourmom516

I'm in Valdosta too and just found out that if you need an extra past paper you can got to the Daily Times and buy any past issue with all the inserts!! Great if you missed a paper or want extra of an older paper. Plus I have heard that our Dollar Tree by Target sells the paper for a buck every Sunday. I have my mom mail me her coupons from Cali so that I get some different ones. But like you I hate waiting on them!! Just thought I would I share :)

    • Labgirl10

I had 9 .50 q's that should have been doubled and they didn't. That is the only coupons to be doubled. Last time I had coupons to double they didn't double. Do they have a repeat of the double price below. I don't know how can you tell if they double the coupon? Do they scan it twice. It wasn't a dnd.
When I came out I had someone hit my new Nissan Armada with there door and left a big dent. So much for saving money.

I'm so sorry about your car!!  I tried using some Dixie plates coupons that were $.50 before and they didn't double.  If the code starts with a 9, I have heard that they don't double and I'm pretty sure that was the problem with the Dixie coupons.

    • akmilly

      You are correct!

    • Wkucollegegirl

Where do you get the publix yellow adv flyers from?

      • Labgirl10

Customer service , just ask and they will give you all the flyers and coupons.

      • Chris

They may also be near the front door on a display with that week's ad (as well as the other books Publix puts out like on organics, baby club signup, etc).

    • Kaitlyn

I saved a pretty decent amount of money this week! I was pretty thrilled with that, however this trip might be the first time in a few months I've had problems with any of the cashiers. There were two ladies working that we call “the coupon police” and they always lay every single coupon out before they start scanning, read every single line, investigate it, then look whats in your cart, ague before they start scanning, then take 20 minutes scanning each item one by one and reading each coupon. This time, to save time, we hid the coupons out of sight until she told us what our total was. She turned extremely sour when we pulled them out. And thus the going through each coupon and ague over every single thing she found that she didn't like. Then wouldn't accept the competitor coupons they do allow (then told me a competitor coupon looks exactly like the Publix store coupons do). Nothing more frustrating then someone who gives you the stink eye and complains over every coupon loudly. Thankfully we spoke to the manager and the customer service is outstanding.
Anyway, besides the frustrating checkout, we got to save a lot of money and got our gas card. Could be worse.

      • couponinchef

yeah we have a mean old lady @ the Publix in FB FL, she is always mad about coupons and tries to make u feel like u r doing something wrong for wanting 2 save money. The real problem is that she just does not know how to scan some of the coupons!!

    • Ali_gator82

i was wondering if anyone had an extra ConAgra rebate form they would mind mailing me.  I went ahead and bought the items I needed to do it even without the rebate form because I have a 2 year old and she loves pudding cups and chef boyardee.  Oh and I was out of Pam so  went ahead and bought that.  I very much appreciate your time and help! please email me at ali_gator82@yahoo.com.  Thanks again!

    • Sarah

I've never participated in the gas card deal before, but I was pleasantly surprised.  I was able to save over $.50 a gallon off of my regular gas price, for 13.5 gallons of gas.  I commute a long distance, so this was a nice savings.

    • Just an FYI, the Yellow Advantage Buy flyer I have indicates the Jimmy Dean coupon requires 2 items. So the list should be updated to reflect that it is a $1/2 store coupon, making the price $1.45/each to reflect the $.50 difference when you have to buy the 2 items to use that coupon.

      • Chris

There's also a $1/2 manuf Q so stack them together and pay $1/ea.

        • Anonymous

Using the PX $1/2 and the manu $1/2 makes them still $1.50 each.

          • Chris

You’re right – I didn’t scroll up and check to see she already included both Qs in that price.  Oops!  Thanks.

          • Chris

You’re right – I didn’t scroll up and check to see she already included both Qs in that price.  Oops!  Thanks.

    • Also, the Voskos facebook page doesn't give you the coupon, at least to my knowledge, and the others who complained there as well. If you want that deal, just use the Voskos homepage to get the coupon.

    • Sha08

Has anyone in the Atlanta area found the Sweet Savings Booklet? I can't find it anywhere..

      • I've been to 4 Publix, and even showed the managers a photo of the book, none of them have even seen it. These were stores in Mableton and Smyrna.

        So freaking annoyed.

        • Cristi Obee Cheney

I found it at a Publix in Atlanta (inside the perimeter) on Sunday of this week. Was surprised to find it as I'm rarely able to find any of the booklets. They also had the baby ooh and ahh and the newest Conagra rebate sheet.

      • Jbush27

Nope.  It is hit or miss with all the coupon booklets.

      • Laura

Northlake store, 285 Lavista exit had about 10 of them right next to weekly ad last Sat so I grabbed 2. Thought about getting 2 for sis on my way out but by the time I finished shopping there were none left.

    • Fnettie_2000

Sorry if this has already been answered……  for the Chips Ahoy cookies….  the only Target printable coupon I have found is the B3G1 Keebler cookies.  Does that include Chips Ahoy?

      • Laura

Sorry, Chips Ahoy is a Nabisco product, not Keebler.

      • Taylor

No, Keebler does not make Chips Ahoy – Nabisco makes it.  I saw the Nabisco B3G1 coupon available on Target's website today.

    • Kimspromo

The Sweet Savings Bookley was in the St. Augustine, FL Publix last weekend on a table that they used for samples.

Can anyone tell me why I can't find the hunts or the Chef Boyardee coupons in the June All You magazine that I get mailed to my house?

      • Kim

They were in the middle of the magazine, paper insert, some people who get the mag in the mail complain they dont receive the inserts. You may need to call the company and let them know you didn't get them and they may mail them to you.

    • Wilrad

I saved “big” at Publix and Kroger on my early Sat. morning shopping trip.
I had a ton of coupons I like to go very early Sat. as to not hold anyone up.
I always tell the cashier or if I see the manager around the store while I'm shopping that I will have a large order and what is the best to check out specific lane or self.
I find I get a much better response when I make it known that I plan to be awhile.
I have 4 cats who just love temptations cat treats…scored big on those this week .25 cents a bag for which is regular 1.74 a bag!  I did call and order extra ahead of time even better they allowed me to break up purchases and got 3 gas cards this morning!
Kroger had little cesars dog food on sale this week 10 for $5 which is a great savings they are regular .72 cents each!   I love couponing!!!

      • Beth Anne

According to the coupon you shouldn't have had to split your order up as long as you had a coupon for each $25 worth of groceries.  Would have saved a bit of time  if they hadn't made you split up your transactions!  Sounds like you had a great trip.  And you are such a polite couponer!!!  Way to go!!

    • Deb

Target has a printable coupon 60 cents off one Smart Balance Spread. BOGO used with manufacturer's & Target coupons makes final price $1.49 for 2!

    • Deb

Oops.  The Smart Balance printable coupon from Target is a manufacturer's.

    • Momto4girlz

What is your experience using yellow/green flyer Publix q's?  In the past I thought I was able to use more than one in a transaction.  I was not allowed to today.  I tried to use two of the green flyer q's for Advil.  I needed both children's and adult, so I had a total of 4 items and 2 green flyer q's.  They said it is one per customer–period.  So technically even if I come back 2 days later, I really not supposed to use the same coupon.  But I KNOW I've used more than one (in a single transaction) in the past.  It's not like I'm filling my cart w/ 10 of the same item –usually it's just 2 of something.  Another example–Today I bought both Suave shampoo and conditioner, but I couldn't  use 2 55 cent green flyer q's on them–just on one.

      • Aztecblondie

My Publix has never given me a hard time with these.  I've used up to four in a transaction.  The other day, I purchased 2 Suave shampoos and 2 Suave body washes with no issues.  It varies from store to store.

      • Cellwife

It really just depends on the store.  My store lets me use more then 1 green flyer coupon in one transaction.  I would ask them about this at the customer service desk.  I have heard that some stores do not allow this.  I have a Publix near me that does not let you get overage yet the Publix I normally go to has no problem allowing overage.

        • Momto4girlz

I did double check w/ the manager on duty and got the same story.  I have another Publix that is definitely more coupon friendly–they also allow overage.  I will just have to stick w/ that Publix.  I mainly wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind–or missing some policy change.

      • Beth Anne

Publix recently changed their coupon policy.  There was something about it here on Southern Savers… maybe back in the spring.  The new policy apparently only allows one Green or Yellow advantage coupon per transaction.  It was supposed to be across the board at all Pubix stores.

        • Momto4girlz

Ok, I went back and looked up the post on this site about the new policy, and she did address this.  Oddly, when I checked Publix's website, their official coupon policy doesn't address this issue specifically.  ((shrug))  It definitely changes the way I'll make my shopping lists in the future! :)

      • My experience has been, when it's the high dollar coupons from the green ad ($6/2 or $5/2) they'll only allow you to use one per transaction.

    • Amhebb

where do you get the conagra rebate flyers from?

If its the one “College CAre package ” I have three vlidia56@yahoo.com

Awesome shopping trip for the ConAgra Rebate. My store doesn't carry the 8-ct. Orville Reddenbacher Popcorn, but I asked my Store Manager and she let me use the $3.00/2 Target on the 10ct. Mini Bags that were on sale.

    • Irmo Mom

My Publix just handed me the “PUBLIX” official coupon policy that states they only accept Bi-LO, Food Lion and Kroger store coupons. Jenny has posted (Target coupon) near several items on the Publix weekly deals list. When I went to the Publix website, they state that it is up to each individual store. Which statement is true? I have been going to the Kennerly Rd. store. Should I change?

      • Rgnurse911

You should check with other stores in your area because some do accept Target coupons.  It is up to each store to determine which competiter coupons they accept.  Mine does Target, Ingles and Kroger.  (all 3 of the ones in my area)

      • Helenstar0

i work for Publix and the cpmpetitor coupon policy is based on the local stores that surround the district's Publix's. For example, one town may have three publix next to kroger and a target, so they would take kroger and target coupons. however in the next town over there might only be an ingles.

    • Irmo Mom

I will thanks!!! I could have saved another $27.00!!!! :(

    • nisamom

Found a great deal at Publix today on Axe shower gel/body wash.  Original price 4.99. I had a B1G1 coupon from the sunday paper handy and publix had a coupon in their booklet for 1.50 off.. so with the B1G1 coupon and 2 of the $1.50 off Qs, I ended up with two body washes for a dollar each!

      • Sdkjcmc

I was wondering, I have some publix coupons but it states cannot be combined with other coupons? So do some stores allow this or something? New to this whole thing. thanks

        • nisamom

I'm also sort of new to couponing… before i got all into it was talked to one of the publix cashiers and she gave me this little paper with their policy and a list of competitor coupons they accept.  She told me that they accept per item one manufacturer coupon with one publix/competitor coupon.  From what I've heard, it may vary by store depending on the store manager.

          • Ami_fitzgerald

Publix's coupon policy is company wide and printed on their website.  The store has the ability to decide who its competitor's are and that is what you may be hearing regarding a store manager's decision.  Otherwise, all stores should be following their corporate wide policy.  I carry a copy with me just in case, all the time!

    • FL Girl

I have four extra rebate forms [with coupons]. I can have them in the mail Monday if anyone wants them.

    • Cbensonedu

How do I get Publix Home mailers? I asked at my local Publix and they said they didnt know of any home mailers except for Baby Club etc… I would like to get any other mailers if possible. The one I would like to sign up for is the Savings are stocking up at Publix home mailer. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

      • Chris

The Stocking Up book is long gone – that was a special limited-time promo.  They have those from time to time so you have to catch them as soon as they come up or they disappear.  They do have some other magazines available that also have Qs in them from time to time – the Family magazine, Greenwise, etc.  Go to the Publix website and you can sign up for all of their “clubs” and magazines so you at least get those regularly.  HTH.

Chris~ do you know how to get the Conagra flyer that goes with the Chef Boyardee deal.  I plan on shopping tonight on the last day of the sale and will probably miss out on this one, but would like to know for future reference.

          • Chris

Normally it will be in-store – I’ve seen them on special displays, at Customer Service, or at/on an end cap.  This particular book I have not had the chance to get in and look for (I’ve been stocked so haven’t really needed anything) so I got one from a friend.  I’ll be shopping tonight or tomorrow too so I’ll be looking as well.  You could probably get an extra from someone on here and just go ahead and get your shopping done (I think there are some extras in my leftover Qs from my trades).  I will note that the last time the ConAgra book came out I went to many stores in the area and none had it so had to resort to buying some online – then I found the rebate form but no books at one store.  So it is hit or miss – good luck finding it though!!

I'm sorry to complain (grrr).  This afternoon I went to the Publix 1 mile down the road from my house.  Purpose was to buy 10 soft scrub & 1 bottle of migraine excidrin.  I have 3 bathrooms & the only thing I use to clean is soft scrub so I didn't think I was being greedy.  There were still plenty on the shelf so I of course grabbed my 10.  As I left the aisle there was a woman & a clerk.  She turned to the clerk & said at least I am not like her.  I didn't hear this my husband did as he was looking at a different product in the aisle.  What did I do wrong?  For some reason this has bothered me all day.  Again sorry just wanted to vent.

      • january42003

Unless you use Soft Scrub like it's going out of style in your 3 bathrooms, I wouldn't see a reason for getting 10, but, like you said, if that's all you use and you regularly clean using the Soft Scrub, I wouldn't worry about what she thought. (though I see how that could nag at you). Hope your shopping experiences are better than what you experienced today!

        • Lisagrady22

thank you I appreciate your comment.  I will say that if I had taken the last 10 & she was standing trying to get the same product I would have shared.  Then I would have either gotten a rain check or gone to another store.  I have done this more then once.

      • Guest

It's none of my business what people clean their bathrooms with but the only thing I can say is, if they weren't limiting to 10, how much more would people buy? I have a feeling they started cutting off at 10 because folks were buying a whole lot more than that, which prompted them to impose a limit. I personally only bought two but I got there the afternoon of the FIRST DAY of the sale and they had less than 20 left in the whole store. That is ridiculous

        • Lisagrady22

It did take me 3 stores to go to before I found them.  I didn't mind that this happened.  I totally understood with the price who could beat it.

      • Loribrandon56

Alli have to say is it anyone's business how many you get. There is alimit and you stick to ..right . I buy extra stuff when i have coupons because for one. sometimes it doesn't go on sale for awhile and i might need before sale come around.  we use it alot in our house. . i get the extra for my family that is on a fixed income like myself and can't afford it. So sweety you did nothing wrong. It was the person in the shopping center that praaobly just a little mad you had mnore coupons then her. So smile and let it roll off. Just remenber you do what you do for your family  no else matters

        • Pat

The coupon is for $1.50 off. We might not see that again with a bogo' so I say buy it now.

      • Mama23babygirls

I have 3 bathrooms and use softscrub but would never buy 10 bottles of anything. I never do more than 2-3 deals at a time. I wouldnt let it bother you though. Who cares what anyone else says. As long as you didnt clean the store out and you “obeyed” the policy!!

        • Lisagrady22

Yes ma'am.  Followed the 10 item rule.

      • bootsiegirl

Your husband should have said to her “at least she's not like you”.

Getting 10 of an item is not bad….   getting 50 or 100 is!!!

        • Lisagrady22

Thank you :0).  He did make a comment to her.  But I'm sure she didn't care.

      • Danielle

I don't see anything wrong with it.  My publix limits me to 5 deals, or ten items if its BOGO.  I do however go shopping the last night of the sale to try and be courteous to other shoppers.  I figure by the last night most people have already gotten what they wanted.  This does backfire, sometimes they are out and I have to get a raincheck, but thats ok.

        • mommyof1

getting 10 of the cleaning products at my store is a big “no no”.. i am not saying you did anything wrong.. but our publix is the only one in town (and actually within 30 minutes or more of any others) and they are always running out of these cleaning items.. sometimes in the start of the sale.. of course every store is different..  but i would never get 10 of a cleaning item at my store, but that is just me.. i would go back the last day and get rainchecks if there are no more left.

Bertolli Pasta Sauce, 15 or 24 oz, at $2.89 ($1.44)
      Excluding organics
-.75/1 Bertolli pasta sauce (Target coupon), 15 oz +, Target insert 8/07
(makes it 69¢ if your store accepts Target)
Target insert???? Where was this?  I got the Target circular, but there were no coupons in it.
      Thanks!

      • Chris

It was a special insert that was regional last weekend.  It had a green face and specifically had Target store Qs in it (it was only a couple of pages).  One of the Qs was for the pasta sauce as Jenny has noted above.  But it's only good for you if your store takes Target Qs as a competitor.  I'm sure if you ask around online someone will have some to trade (I might in fact after I have a friend over today to pick out what she needs).  HTH

      • Mama23babygirls

There is also a $1/2 mfr Q that was on a wine tag last week. I forget which one but you wine lvoers would know!

      • Tristansmommy120910

Mine was inside of one of the coupon booklets in my sunday paper last week.

        • Janessa

where exactly?? i cant find mine any where either :/

    • Mama23babygirls

Has anyone seen the Publix Sweet Savings booklets and the Aah Over Big Baby Bargains booklets in the stores or are these mailed?

      • Katko24

The baby book was in stores a few weeks ago…

      • bootsiegirl

I got a postcard from Publix saying look for “Ooh and Ahh Over Baby” deals.  But I never saw a coupon book.  I asked as Customer Service desk and showed them the postcard. They had not heard of it.

So I called corporate.  They said all the store got the Ooh and Ahh Over Baby coupon booklet.  I told them my didn't.   They mailed me the coupon book but the coupons expired the day after I received it.

        • Roehrigk

It doesn't expire till 8/31, or at least mine doesn't

      • Abbsquirt

I found it hidden by the registers under where u swipe your credit cards!!

      • Falen

My publix in Florida put the baby booklet in the baby isle. But I have been looking for the Sweet Savings and no one has heard of it. Anyone else have any idea?

    • Pamperedduck

Also for the Planters Peanuts- there is a $1 off coupon that was sent in the mail about 1 1/5 or 2 weeks ago.  Its a Publix little booklet with multiple coupons in it. I believe it might be called Save a bundle..?

    • Ayleen

I usually don't post comments, but I had a great trip to Publix this week so I thought I should share some of the $1 or less deals I found.  I'm in Miami, FL, so every penny you save here goes a long way…

If you still have your coupons for the lysol their is also a $1 off of 1 lysol disinfecting spray the picture shows the can but it can be used on the bogo plastic bottles since it only specifys 12oz plus it doesnt say it has to be the can. so if you use 2 of those it makes it .69 for 2 bottles

        • Ayleen

Thanks, Trista… but the coupon on the booklet says 19-oz can, so I didn't use it.  It's still a great deal without this coupon :-)

      • Janessa

trying to find the target insert. i have looked everywhere! both of the ss, rp, target ad, and all through the newspaper. can you please tell me what it looked liked or where you found it in the paper?? thanks:) really want to score on the bertolli!!

        • Savn2gether

I don't think it was in my paper either…

        • Ayleen

What happened to me with the Target insert is that I bought the Saturday edition of the Sunday paper and it wasn't there, but when I received the delivered edition on Sunday morning, it was there.  So that may be why you didn't find it.  Hope that helps!

    • Gay

I have tried to print the Zephyrhills coupon and get it to print and my daughter tried at her home and work.  Has any one printed it?

      • Janessa

i had trouble with it too. never did get it to print.

        • Falen

          me too

    • JMK

The Publix in Lexington, SC has a coupon for Similac ($5 off 2) in this weeks flyer but not the Enfamil.

      • Hope

        Same here in Jacksonville, FL

      • Tristansmommy120910

Thier is a $10/2 enfamil in the “ooh and ahh” baby booklet” but its off of the powder refils HTH

    • RxyPrncss03

Got a great deal at Publix…they had Cascadian farms frozen organic strawberries and corn for $1.25 each and with the $2/2 from the yellow adv they were only .25 each! They allowed me to use 3 of them. Every Publix is different from what I read, but my store allows multiple of the yellow coupons but only one of the green.

      • TLF

Buying organic corn is something everyone should consider.  Most corn is genetically engineered with herbicide right inside the seed.  Studies have suggested that this herbicide reactivates inside your gut. I buy only organic corn when possible.

    • Shannon

im new to this can someone please tell me what time you can log on to print coupons for the weekly sales?

      • Kristin

you an log in any time to print the coupons. I try to print them when I see them because sometimes they limit the amount of prints allowed.  On they run out you cannot print them.

    • LilMis1213

If anyone has a spare ConAgra rebate form I could really use one. I asked my local Publix and the clerk at customer service looked at me like I was crazy. I have 3 kids and we like to use the Chef Boyardee for lunches in their lunchboxes as a change from sandwiches. I have the .25 coupons but want to stock up and .6 cents sounds really good!!! Also where can I find the 5 off 25? Thanks  my email is LilMis1213@yahoo.com

    • Kristina Akins

Can someone please explain this to me:
Nabisco cookies are BOGO.  How does the B3G1 benefit me????

      • Wallaceluvsmuron

buy 4, publix will give you 2 for free and target gives another free. you get 4 for the price of 1, about 55-60 cents a piece

        • Kristina Akins

Thank you!  That's what I thought but it just wasn't making sense to me!!!

          • Tristansmommy120910

Dont forget their was also $0.75 coupons in i think last weeks paper and you can use up to 4 of them if you do the b3g1 deal. Making this an even better deal

            • Janessa

the coupon was only for .75/2 but still a great deal! going to get mine today!

    • Wallaceluvsmuron

Found $1.00 off when you buy 2 Nabisco cookie  “peelie's”. Stacked w/ a target buy 3 get1 free and shopping @ a lower priced Publix, got me 4 packs of chips ahoy for 7 cents! Keep and eye out for the stickers @ your store.

    • Guest

      Does publix issue rain checks?

      • mel

        yes

      • Guest

Yes, they do. Might want to ask when they expire tho. Some stores do have a 30 day restriction

      • Laura

Yes for items in the weekly ad.
No for green & yellow advantage fliers (because those deals last 3 weeks).

    • Keanufan86

is there any way on this site to print coupons all at once, like if i want one type of coupon and another type and another, instead of cliking on the printable link and it printing on one page and me wasting a page for one coupon , please help me

      • tori729

No, all the coupons are from different places. If you do happen to need more than one from the same source, you can print them together but no, there is no other way to do it.
However you don't have to waste a page. Your printer should be able to print on half sheets too. And I just use scrap paper and print on the other side.

    • Janessa

Can someone please tell me!…..what did the target insert look like on 8/7??? i went through both of the ss inserts and the redplum and didnt see it. then went out to the recycle bins and when through the newspaper and target ad. sill cant find them!! i really want to score on the bertolli sauce and the only coupon for it in is there.

      • Val

Your area probably didn't get it. It was only sent to certain places. Click on “Sunday Ad Inserts” on the right hand side of this page and see if your newspaper variations are listed

    • Diana Chastain

The ooh and ahh Publix baby lysol coupon clearly states can.

    • jk

I'm new at this, what does the “SS” mean after the deal is listed?

      • SS = SmartSource
        RP = Red Plum
        PG = Proctor Gamble

The three most common types of coupon books in the Sunday paper.

    • savingmoney11

Just FYI. I picked up 4 chefboyardee for .89 each and 4 pudding packs for $1 each and used the .35 cent off coupon for the pudding packs and the .35 off of the boyardee that doubled and stacked the Publix .55 off for the pudding and .55 off the boyardee for 2 each and a “free” pudding pack coupon that I picked up today on a kroger aisle tearpad by the pudding display. Figured I pass along the savings to everyone!

    • savingmoney11

Publix also has in one of the fliers $3 off Tylenol precision patch that is $7.99. If you stack it w the $3 off precision patch coupon that was in last weeks paper, it makes it $1.99.

    • JA

Is $25 for the gas card before coupons?

      • Bamacat

        Yes

    • Savn2gether

Earlier in the week, I asked about the Lysol Disinfectant Trigger Spray. The $1 off q from SS 8/07 and one of the printables (both manufacturer coupons) worked fine on the Lysol Kitchen Cleaner and another Lysol cleaner that is b1g1. The cans aren't b1g1, but it made the cleaner 35 cents each! I didn't try the Oooh and Ahh Baby Publix coupon because it specified a size that didn't match the ones I bought. Hope this helps anyone still heading on their shopping trip!

    • LindaD

I couldnt find any of the Oooo & Ahhhh Baby coupons @ any of my Publix's so I ordered some from ebay & have 15 extra (extra sheets with all 8 coupons on each one) if anyone is interested in trading please let me know. I am in need of the $1 Ronzoni Garden Delight coupons if anyone has any of those to trade or the $1 off Milo's Kitchen dog treat coupons from yesterday. Please let me know you can email me @ duggerld77@gmail.com

Facebook has a $1 Riceworks coupon but I can't get the page to work.  Most people are having good success,  though.

    • Amhebb

my publix- inflorida had $2 off cereal coupon at the front of the store – good on the cinniman toast crunch, making it FREE so keep an eye out.  I have never seen these type of coupons before – its an easel with about 6 different publix coupons attached in tear off form

      • Partyof9

I had 4 boxes of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and 4 boxes of Lucky Charms…stacked with manufacture's coupons, they were .145/box average.  They let me use one per item, so it was great! These just came out yesterday.

    • Where do you get the TGIF Dollar Coupon? I clicked but do not see it .

    • Jrobbins

I could not find the Publix gas deal..where do we find that coupon?

      • Aimee

it is in the weekly ad- ask the cashier, you usually dont even need a coupon they have the information and LU# at their register “)

      • joaniec

It is in the Publix flyer at the front of the store (ask customer service if you don't see it).  I bought $50 worth of groceries and bought two cards so I had to cut out two coupons from two store papers…..got $20.00 off of my groceries, with coupons my groceries were free!.

    • ebay

Has anybody had any problems with getting coupons on ebay?

      • Mary

Most of them will be blinkies or tearpad coupons that someone has taken from the store to sell.  There has been a been ethical discussion about “buying” coupons.  My advice is save the money you would spend buying coupons and see if you can find someone to trade or just shop the good sales.  If people continue to buy coupons, others will continue taking the coupons that would otherwise be there for us to use and sell them.  The cycle has to be stopped somewhere.  Just my thoughts.

        • strange!

Thanks! I have actually seen somebody in with the lotions taking off all of the $1 coupons on every single item! Somebody who worked there told her to stop but she didnt know english?! really!! She knew how to read english!!!

          • hotmar1

These are the kind of people that kill the thrill of couponing, I love finding peelies on my merchandise…it’s like an extra gift!

Anyone know where i can get the ConAgra flyer with the chef boyardee coupons? When I asked at my publix, they said they never heard of ConAgr-that was coming from the manager.

    • kjmiller

I love my Publix!! Had a big order yesterday (just over $100 before coupons) and the manager let me buy FOUR gas card deals and I didn't even have to split up my order!!! They are gems at the Publix in Lagrange, GA. :)

How do the manufacturer and store B1G1 coupons work when you stack them?  Or should I say, can you stack them to get the product free?

      • Ferrugiae

I just asked the same question :) Hopefully one of us will get an answer :)

    • Ferrugiae

Publix has a coupon for B1G1 on Sun Drops soda and there is also a manufacturer's coupon B1G1 printable for Sun Drops… How many can I get on the cheap? I have 2 of each coupon…TIA :)

      • Ayleen

I think the coupons are for two different sizes, so make sure you double check before making the trip :-)

    • Rover

Where do I get the Make the Most of Your Pharmacy Booklet?

    • Gofast67

Question?Has anyone heard about a new coupon book publix is putting out?I went to service desk to ask and all they knew was about the yellow and green fliers.Help

      • Gofast67

thanks everyone for your help on this.THANKs

    • Jaimie R

I went to Publix last night, and they have some new store coupons out! These are NOT in a booklet, but were hanging from a cardboard display in the front by customer service. I think there were 9, and I didn't grab them all, but they included:

***$2 off Any One FIber One cereal or Fiber One Chewy Granola Bars
***$2 off Any One Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Reese's Puff's, Cookie Crisp, Cinnamon Toast Crunch (15.6-25.25oz) or Nature Valley Granola Bars Value Size (14.8-17.8oz).
***$1 off Any Two Knorr Sides Product
***$1.75 off Any One Hellman's Real Mayonnaise 22oz
***$1 off Any One I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (15oz tub) or Country Crock Spreads (45oz) Products
***$1 off Any One Betty Crocker Specialty Potatoes (4.5-7.7oz) or Potato Buds Mashed Potatoes (13.75oz)

All these coupons are effective 8/15/11 – 9/4/11, and state “Limit One Deal Per Coupon.” I translated that as, you need one coupon for every deal, So on the Cinnamon Toast Crunch that is BOGO, ($4.99 in my store) I used (2) $2 off Publix coupons, and (2) 50 cents off manufacturer coupons and got each box for 50 cents each! Hope everyone can find these! :) There were a few more but the above was all I grabbed.

      • Jaimie R

Oh my math sucks! I got the cereal FREE!

      • Chris

Was this a big yellow display board?  They've done this before with Publix store Qs – at my closest store it was actually right in front when you come in the door (by the self-checkout).  So keep your eyes peeled for a big display with peg hooks on it for these little glossys.  Thanks for the info Jaimie!!

      • Debbiesc

I just racked up on that deal!  The cereal is only $4.29 for 2 in my area, so got each box for $.29 cents… Yipee!  I never get to score big, unitl this!

      • Mary

They didn't have the display at my store, there were yellow Publix coupons attached to the boxes.  I watched a lady peeling them off of several boxes as I walked down the cereal aisle.  Too funny. . .they will be in ad coupons tomorrow.

    • Mike

where do I get the purchase cods from to get some of  these coupons

    • Debbiesc

Need some help with something…  Just got back from Publix trip, I had a buy 10 gatorades, get 5 free.  They are on sale for $1.00 each.  I also had 10/$1.00 off of 1 any gatorade.  The lady working customer service desk would not let me use them, she insisted I had to buy 10 more gatorades to use them.  I then asked, “what was the difference if I had a BOGO coupon and $$ off of 1, I can use both then.  She then told me, “No you can not!”  Insisted I get a copy of the coupon policy and then proceeded to talk about me to the manager while I was a few isles over.  Needless to say, am I wrong??  Help!  If so, no problem, but it does not seem correct?

      • Ayleen

        Hi Debbie,

I think the first thing you have to see is what kind of coupons they are… If they B1G1 and the $$ off coupons are both the same type of coupon ie manufacturer, competitor or store coupons, they won't let you combine them.  You can only use one of either type at once.  Does that make sense? So if one of them is a Publix Coupon and the other is a Manufacturer coupon, they should have let you use them both.  But if they are both manufacturer coupons, I'm afraid they're right.  However, they should have been nicer about it and taken the time to explain that to you.

        Hope this helps.

I understand.  I have only been doing this since November, so I am still learning.  It worked out better for me anyway cause they had the big ones on sale, BOGO they were 2/$2.15, so I used the $1.00 of any on them for a sweet deal.  I have always done with a BOGO M'Q and used another $1.00 off of the bought one…  CVS & Walgreens do it. I bought a book about couponing and it had it in it…  I am learning though!  Thanks for the help!

Depends on the store – some would have allowed it because the BOGO manuf Q applies to the free ones while the $1/1 applies to the ones you're paying for.  But every store is different.  If you have another store nearby you could try there next time and see what they say.

This might confuse you a little but with Publix the coupons are per item. so if you get a BOGO coupon you can use another coupons for the one you did not get for free. But, since you already bought 10 drinks you could not use 2 coupons for the same 10 drinks. I hope that it helps!

What I had was a 5 free with the purchase of 10, so got 15, then had 10/$1.00 off the ones I had to buy to get the 5…I just used the BOGO as an example that was different, but similar…  Mine deal was buy 10 get 5 free.

I would have thought you could use both.  You still have to buy the 10 to get the 5 free- seems like you could have used 10 $1.00 off on the 10 you had to buy.  I would have thought you’d end up with 15 free.  I’ve never come across a deal like that though so I guess I don’t know.

silly question…for the B1G1 sales, how many coupons do i use. example : the lysol spray is B1G1 @$2.69. How many $1 off coupons do i use? 1 or 2?

      • joaniec

You can use 2 coupons on the B1G1.  When there are products that also have a Publix coupon you can use that also….like the Advil on sale I used 2 / $2.00 Manufacturers coupons and the $5.00 coupon out of the Publix Green advantage paper so they were free.  My store also lets me use Target coupons you can print off the Target website.  Each Publix has different rules.

I’m new at this, still trying to figure it all out. Printed the Advil M coupon went to print another said I exceeded my limit 2 per household, but I only printed one. Called them they apologized will mail me another, will not e-mail. Does not help me get this Publix free deal, cause it ends today. Although $1.58 is still good, it’s not free. Did I do this right? has this happened to others?  Also coupon says (not valid in connection w/any other offer) so my question, How will Publix or any other store accept more then one coupon on an item?

      • Chris

I think the Advil Publix store Q expires on 8/26.  So you should be able to still get it.  And the statement about not able to combine with other offers doesn’t apply to the store Q – that is something Publix offers regardless of the manuf Q.  I just bought 4 Advil today and used 2 store Q and 4 manuf Q without issue.

Your right about the exp. on the Q, I was thinking of the store sale I guess. And Thanks for the info. on the S/M Q. Where or how do you get so many M Q, cause like I said I couldn’t get a 2nd one to print. I was at the store today & couldn’t even find 32 or 36 ct. The only ones I seen for $4.29 was the 24 ct. I’m getting off to a rough start w/this Qing thing. I had issues w/other items & their Q. Hope it gets better or I get better at it.

I have 7 computers so I print multiples of good Qs as soon as I spot them.  Good luck – it takes time but you’ll get there.  Just relax and realize you’ll sometimes miss out but it all works out in the end with the deal you will actually get.  HTH

Publix has their Springer Mtn chickens @ .60 off/lb which can be combined with the 8/7 SS coupon for $1.50 off.  Still pricey but good for what it is – not antibiotics, no hormones, all veg diet, etc…
