Publix is running another Buy Theirs, Get Ours Free Deal this week.  This means when you buy the national brand version of three selected products you get the Publix housebrand FREE.  You are only allowed one free Publix product per item (no matter how many national brand versions you buy).

One note: Many times this is not the best deals on these products.  The national brand items are not on sale at all, and even though you are getting a free product make sure you are still getting the price you would normally get had you waited for a sale on the national brand and just bought two (the Keebler cookies are a great example since all you coupons require buying two…) .

I bought the cookies yesterday.  The keebler cookies were $2.50.  With the free publix cookies, that comes out to $1.25 per box.  I don't usually buy these cookies, but I thought the price wasn't too bad and these cookies taste AWESOME!

    • Do you have to buy all three items to get the deal?  Or can you pick and choose which ones you want?  Also, is there a coupon to redeem or does it automatically discount the Publix brand at checkout?

      • guest

You don't have to buy all 3. Just pick what your family will use. It will automatically deduct at the register

    • Matt

the $1/2 Keebler Cookies Coupon is not available on their website anymore. its different coupons now

    • Sam

at my Publix there is no limit on how many free Publix brand items you can get.  Ask the store manager at your local store.

    • Rebeccauwf

I saw a coupon for the Lipton mix in an insert, but I can't remember which one.  Does anybody know?

      • Leigh Anne

I just found it! It expired 7/24 :(. Sorry!

    • Shes Awake

We took advantage of the Buy Theirs, Get Ours Free for Milk Bone.  We also had 2 coupons for a free “healthy” MB WYB regular milkbones.  On the outside of the box, there was a peelie for free “chewy” MB WYB two regular MB.  All totaled, we had 8 packages of dog treats for $7.38!

    • Kiminator

I am surprised by the Publix employees that don't know about the Publix Challenge so I double check it when it rings up because sometimes the Publix brand doesn't ring up for free therefore it doesn't make it a “Publix Challenge” & @ my store the pecan sandies price on the shelf was 2/$5 but they rang up $3.49 but a quick stop @ customer service corrects all that!

    • Blessedmommieof3

My store didn't have these deals going on. :(  Too bad too, since I had (2) $1 printables for the Lipton Soup Mixes.

    • Milk and cookie time

I used a $1/2 keebler cookies, got one free publix cookie and $2 off one gallon of milk wyb 2 keebler cookies, so $5.20 before tax for three cookies and a gallon of milk!

    • I enjoy the buy theirs, get ours deals.   It let's us find items we can use as back up to our regulars if we do not have a coupon or sale.  However, we noticed, many times the store brand is just as expensive or more expensive, in some cases, than our favorite brand.

Publix onion soup mix is just as good, or even better than the Lipton :-)
