Your site has been a true life changer! Thanks Jenny! Now if we can just get FL Publix to double coupons :)

      • Abaldy2

        that’s what I’m saying!!

      • mrn1

Now if I could just not have to pay 9% tax on all my groceries.

        • Stephanie

Yeah, but FL doesn’t have an income tax, right?  I’d take a 9% sales tax on groceries if the state didn’t take 35% of my income…..  :(

          • Bh

FL does not have an income tax or tax on food(groceries)

            • april

Yeap, Thats why i’m Not tripping about double coupons In Fl. as long as they don’t take groceries. I’m ok

            • Stephanie

Sounds like I’m going to retire in Florida!!!!

          • mrn1

Alabama has income tax and sales taxes.  I have figured out some numbers and as far as double coupons go, it love my doubled coupons, but overall would actually do better without doubled coupons if we had  no sales tax on groceries.  The only stores that double here are Publix and Kroger.

            • Stephanie

Yeah, in GA, we have both.  Although the sales tax on food is lower than sales tax on other things.  Still.  Publix and Kroger only double coupons 50 cents and less here.

            • mrn1

The Publix and Kroger doubles are the same here, 50 cents and less.  Our sales tax is 9% across the board, food or not.  An area south of here has 9.5%.  That really stinks.

            • Stephanie

There is no tax on groceries in Fl. on some prepared but not on meat and stuff you buy at the store..I dont even pay tax on the Vitamins!

        • Cayacoup

And in TN you can’t use dairy coupons…an awesome reason to shop Alabama if you live closeby isn’t it.

    • mrsmadayar

A little tip on the Neosporin Eczema Cream: It’s just plain ol’ hydrocortozone cream. There’s nothing special about it that makes it “for eczema”. So when deciding if the price makes it worth buying compare it to the other hydro creams and what you normally get them for.

    • Fred

On the Nature Made Vitamin D, the price you’ve listed is the 33% off price that expires with the old Green Advantage Buy flyer.  Then it goes back up to $3.99.  Still a good deal with coupons, but not THAT good! :)

      • Cayacoup

In Tampa, it was $2.20 with the 33% discount. $3.48-3.52 seems about right for the regular price.

    • ImaMum

Publix’s new policy of them “not being a discount warehouse store where you can buy things more than 10 at a time with the green and yellow flyers” has got me not shopping at Publix as I was before. I make donations to three non-profits in our community, and now I cannot give them the necessities that they need for who they help. I have had a great relationship with the three local Publix stores, and they have tried anything and everything to order things for me because they know of how much these things are needed by these groups. Hopefully they will come to their senses at some time, but as it stands I cannot even go in every day and get ten, or even have multiple people go in throughout the sale as they cannot order anything more than what the store is automatically sent.

Is this a problem with all of the areas/regions?

      • mrn1

In my area, we have a limit of 10 items sale or not.  On some of the sale items, like pet food, they limit to 2 deals (4 items) only and won’t allow separate transactions.  Sometimes they limit to 1 deal, like when the Emerald Breakfast on the Go was BOGO.)  Apparently when some really good sales are on, they are unable to even stock the shelves because the warehouses are empty partly due to special orders.  Apparently rainchecks have become quite an issue also with only 2 deals or 4 items being allowed on rainchecks.  It is great that you are trying to help these non-profit organizations, but there are also people that need these items for their families and are unable to get them because of empty shelves, so I can understand why they are no longer accommodating your larger quantity purchases.  While I do not like the limits and sometimes get pretty angry at a limit of 2 items when I live 20 miles from the store and can’t go everyday to get more, I do understand they are necessary so that everyone can enjoy the deals/savings.

        • ImaMum

I completely understand what you have said. I never clear a shelf, and anytime that I have a large order or if it is an item that will be in high demand (at any store not just at Publix), I order the item so that no one will be left with an empty shelf. Some of the stores (like some of the drug stores) make you pay ahead of time for the items, and some of the grocery stores (like Publix) do not.

That is why I am upset over the new quantity issue when my store(s) are ordering directly from the distributor and not pulling from the store’s stock or regular available quantities. For several years now, I have gone in at the start of a sale, placed my order (paid if that store requires it), and waited for the order to come in. Sometimes it is all at one time, and sometimes it is a few here and there until the total quantity arrives. The stores do not have an issue with it and neither do I as it allows their other regular customers to have access to products without my purchase affecting what is available to them.

I just hate that people who need things, whether they may be individuals or a nonprofit that I assist, are now without what they need. Hopefully this policy will go away, if they see that couponers are being responsible and not going overboard after watching the tv shows.

          • mrn1

Maybe this will help you feel a little better about the why of it all.  Both Publix and Kroger managers have explained empty shelves to me as this…There is a warehouse/distributor for certain regions that supplies  the normal stock and regular available quantities for the stores.  When people special order, the items come from that same distribution center/warehouse causing the shortage in regular stock in the stores.  I know Kroger calls it a scratch when the warehouse is empty and they can’t get more, I forgot what Publix calls it.  I live in an area with a ton of ocuponers and our stores have limits imposed like I  mentioned above.  Even with those llimits, i still have to get rainchecks and still run into empty shelves.  I am thinking by not allowing the special ordering, they are hoping to improve the availability for all.

      • Regina Coupon

I have been having issues with buying multiples of 1 item. The coupon reads “1 coupon per purchase” but the store managers have been giving me a hassle. They never mention what you stated, but they say it’s “1 coupon per person,” tell me they are photocopies, make me do seperate transactions, ect. I am in the Hollywood, FL area. Even when I called corporate they advised me it’s “1 coupon per transaction.” Maybe they are unaware of the verbiage. Any advice….

The 2.00 coupon for Nature Made Vitamins link that goes to riteaid.com, is this legitimate?  I have never seen this before.

    • lovmydoxies

Is that manuf coupon from Rite Aid a legal coupon?  I saw this a few weeks ago and but wasn’t sure.  Doesn’t each printable barcode have a unique set of numbers, even when we print a “bricks” coupon or two of the same from coupons.com?  I printed it off and both codes have the same numbers  BTW, it sure wastes a lot of ink….but am willing to use it if it’s okay.

Did I say something wrong?  I wonder what I did to have my comment needing a moderator approval.

      • Sswhite30277

Don’t feel bad. ‘This has happened to me too. They don’t tell you what required moderator approval either.  Sometimes this sight is a little quirky.

If you referenced a dot com site it will automatically send for approval.  Happens to me too and I’ve been on here 3 years :)

I was in Publix (Florida) and got the big bag of Purina One dog food on sale, had a coupon from Target for $2.00 more off and they would not take it. But . . .  the cashier told me to go over to another Publix nearer a Target and they would accept it, due to being so close to Target, they are competition. This is not right!  If one store takes them, then all should. Gives me a bad taste in my mouth for Publix.

Each Publix has their competitors posted. But they do not see some obvious competitors, such as the walgreens next door that sells a selection of groceries or the walmart. But, sometimes you can gode them into taking them even if not on their list. If the other store is a reasonable distance, then tell them you intend to leave your goods and go there to do your shopping, given they accept the coupons. But… Do it nicely and be prepared to leave.
I plan the location of my shopping when I need to use a competitor’s coupon.

I agree! I have a publix like 2minutes from my house, but since they don’t accept Target as a competitor (they only accept Winn Dixie) then I end up having to drive like 10minutes to the other Publix that I know will accept Target coupons:( It sucks, but hey if I know I will save tremenduosly with using competitiors(Target) coupons, then I drive!!! LOL…It’s their loss as I see it!!!

I can’t find the Sundown vitamin coupon on Coupon network.

One of the links for the $2 off nature made vitamin also has a sundown vitamin $1 off coupon. Hope that helps!

Has anyone else been able to find the Garnier Target coupon?  I was unable to find it.
