    • Thank you for sharing these money-saving deals and for including my baked mahi-mahi recipe. I appreciate the link-love and hope your readers enjoy the recipe. Mahi mahi is my all-time favorite fish and I'm glad to know it's on sale at Publix! Looking forward to following your blog.

    • I made stir-fry this week, except I would use either Kraft or Publix Premium Asian Sesame Dressing as a marinade/sauce with a little soy sauce. So good!

I love these meal ideas! keep them coming…. ;-)

    • Beth Anne

this is such a great idea. thanks so much!

Have you checked out e-mealz.com? They do an entire week of dinners based on what's on sale at different stores. $5 a month.

      • They do, but like these recipes show going solely off each weeks deal list means higher prices for many items over buying them at their lowest price and having them stocked and ready for menus. So use some discernment with their sale lists.

        • Anna

I do e-mealz and through stockpiling I have a lot of the general ingredients. I also am a vegetarian so they use a lot of “raw” ingredients in that plan. So I use some of their meals and some made up w/ what I have. It helps give me ideas for variety.

Awesome, I want to see more posts like this!

    • KReed

      Great idea! Thanks!!! :-)

    • That is great! I've found that I only need to get a few things for 2 weeks worth of dinners because of my stock pile. Thank you so much for all you do!

    • Amy

I LOVE this post! Thank you! I'm out of money for groceries this week, but please do this again. So helpful!

    • Perdia

These recipes are now my favorite posts on your blog. I am horrible at being domestic, but by shopping at Publix, cooking these recipes, AND saving money, my husband thinks he will keep me! : ) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the menu plans! Thanks for all you do – you are my hero!

I use the ingredient feature at allrecipes dot com to jump start meal ideas, and use foodgawker dot com for inspiration. If you know what's going on sale, you can even plan ahead. For instance, I knew grilling vegetables and pita bread were going on sale so I made extra hummus and used feta from stock-pile to make pita pockets. The grilling vegetables are great raw as hummus dippers, too.

how are the Eggland’s Best Large Eggs a penny? I'm so new to this

    • newschick22

i'm sorry, I meant how are Eggland’s Best Large Eggs a dollar?

      • Susan Wright

The eggs are on sale for $2, and if you have a .50 coupon it will double and make the eggs only $1! I only had coupons for .35 this week, but it was still a great deal.

    • Brandi

The tuna cakes are a favorite in our house! I keep those ingredients on hand at all times as a go to meal. We would definitely recommend them!

    • Susan Wright

I also love the Aprons meals at the kiosk in the store. The ingredients are frequently on sale and they gather everything you need into a convenient cooler case, so it's grab 'n' go. My favorite one is the individual meatloaves wrapped around the string cheese…my kids go nuts for that one!.

      • Dvmeador

        where is that recipe

    • Rhondacoffey

Wow! I too would go crazy. I have been a fan of LNT for many years. I first shopped there in Atlanta about 20 years ago, and now found that they are available on-line. How cool!!! I could use new rugs, towels, sheets, pillows, and many surprises.

LOVE the menu plan idea! Keep it coming!
