    • I was hoping for the bread! :) Thanks for the early post!!!

My publix had a choice between the big box of rice crispies or salad dressing. I was so stoked to buy the crispies because of that marshmallow coupon. Yay!

      I live in TN.

    • the knoxx gelatin is where the jello is in publix. it was kind of confussing.

    • Di

I was at the Publix store the other day and this lady told me about this site…I came right home and pluged into it. I don’t really understand what you do here for sure so would someone please help me?

Woodstock GA at Trickum and 92: When I got my penny item at the beginning of my shopping trip it was a large Ragu. When I left it had been replaced with Swiss Miss hot chocolate.

    • Angela

Charleston SC: the penny item was a Publix shopping bag instead.
BTW I looked for the Know gelatin in both the jello section and the health items section — couldn’t find it. Nobody in the store had ever heard of it either.
Also, the glass plus BOGO was sold out. Had to get a rain check.

    • Unfortunately, the Publix in downtown Columbia does not take competitor’s coupons for store brand items. There is an email from corporate taped at each register. HOWEVER – I have used the FL $2 off a $5 deli/bakery or produce coupon several times now. That is fantastic!
I also did the deal with the pork, glad trash bags, and charcoal. My dh even went with and checked out behind me so we could use it twice. Funny thing is… WE DON’T HAVE A GRILL! My kids got a kick out of that.
They won’t be laughing when they get to eat those awesome pork ribs for dinner!

    • You can print the penny coupon from their website too. Also, you might want to check the section of the store where they keep their canning jars to find the knox gelatin. That’s where they keep ours.

And thanks for your site!!! I totally grabbed your button for my blog…thanks!

Hi, Di–I told a lady at Publix about this site the other day; I’ll be glad to fill you in :) Jenny is kind enough to match the sales going on in the stores each week to printable coupons that are available and/or coupons that have been in the newspaper inserts that match up to help us save even more money off the sale items. You can really max out your savings by combining store sales with coupons. This site makes it so easy (thanks, Jenny!).

My publix wouldn’t take my Knox Coupon for the small gelatin. I will try to use it somewhere else. It is a great coupon. They are really picky at my publix about coupons. They actually go through them and sort them before they will scan your items. It drives me crazy!!!

hey Jenny- I recently found out that we shop at the same Publix! Publix is my best friend :) I was looking for the list you posted somewhat recently of the kind of prices we should look for to see if something is a good deal. I checked out the archives for Feb & March and didn’t see it. That looked so helpful, but I was out of ink when the post was up so couldn’t print it.
