The Mystery Penny Item at Publix for 1/18 – 1/19 is: Publix Grape Juice
(some stores vary)

You can get the Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Publix Sunday Ad every week however, most stores do not require the coupon. Just remind them to take off the Penny Item and they will!

Check out all of this weeks Publix Deals and Coupon Matches before going out.

**Note: FL stores do not participate in the Penny Item promotion**

The penny item at my publix was single roll paper towels, just an fyi!

    • I was so hoping that they would follow with the last year’s list of mystery items. I was hoping it was going to be milk. But, I’ll settle and be thankful for juice. I called my store to just double check. Thanks for the heads up. :)

    • Shannan

Where do you find the penny item coupon if my Publix does want it? It’s not in my flyer and didn’t see it in today’s Sunday paper. Help!

    • Jenny

Shannan – it is in different areas in different papers. i know in our paper it is in the Sunday separate ad the Publix runs. Sometimes though they only put in a small ad in the section A of the paper and it will be in that little half page ad. If you can’t find it though you could just tell them that as you check out. They will not ever give you a hard time though. After all “it’s where shopping is a pleasure” :)

The penny item coupon can also be printed from their website ( if your area participates ). In the online weekly ad on the last page click on see what 1 cent gets you and it will take you to the page where you can print it.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share with you that there’s Hunt’s tomato sauce on sale for 2/$.99 and there’s a coupon in the blinkie next to it. the coupon is $1 off when you buy 2 hence, it makes it free. I got 12 cans for free. thanks to fiddledeedeeblog.blogspot.com

    • Jenny

Thanks for sharing. I had been told of that find earlier in the week but found that it is only at certain stores. What area are you in? I’ll gladly add it to the list just tell me a region that can expect to find it.

    • Brittany

It’s a real shame that a huge chunk of Publix’s stores are in FL, yet we don’t get the penny item!!!

    • jaoflower

I’m in the Hilton Head, SC which is part of FL region. I asked the customer service once if they do penny item and said no bec. the store belongs to FL region.

    • Jenny

Jaoflower – you should head into Bluffton I know that Publix does participate in the penny item (we lived there for a number of years!) I think the Hilton Head Publix’s do their best to just make ends meet. Thats why they tend to follow FL policies.

Jenny-Thanks for the tip. You don’t know how much I appreciate what you do. I even think I got my husband into this already. It’s funny.

I started my own blog, too but am lost on how to do stuff on it. I’d like to promote your site but don’t know how to do it. Could you help me, pls.? Only when you get a chance. I know you haven’t been feeling well.

      Thanks.

I just had to tell you how much I LOVE this website! I’ve always been a bargain hunter, but this is amazing. I have to tell you about my Publix experience this week.

Ok, in the past 2 days, I’ve spent a grand total of $15.33 at Publix
      > and purchased the following items:
      >
      > 51 cans of Delmonte 50% lower sodium vegetables
      > 2 boxes of Banquet Turkey Sausage
      > 12 boxes of Jolly Time Popcorn
      > 2 bottles of Mott’s Natural Apple Juice
      > 1 large bunch of bananas
      > 1 large bunch of grapes
      > 1/4 of a pineapple
      > 4 tubs of “I can’t believe it’s not butter” light
      > 2 bottles of Olive Oil
      >
      > So, I spent $15.33 and saved $111.53! Holy crap, did I say I was excited? I
      > love a good deal! I would have spent $2 less, but I couldn’t get the olive oil coupon to print.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! What a wonderful service you provide! Please keep it up.
