Publix Penny Item

The Publix Penny Item for Wednesday 1/8 or Thursday 1/9, is:

Publix Salad Dressing, 16 oz

You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. Most stores will require the penny item coupon found somewhere in your Wednesday or Thursday paper.

The Penny Item is for one day only, and will be the day that the ad starts in your area. This is Wednesday for all of SC and AL, and parts of GA, or Thursday for Northern GA.

      My publix (southeast TN) started requiring the newspaper coupon at the start of 2014. So maybe it’s a good idea to beware that if your publix didn’t require the coupon last year, that might have changed this year. I bought a newspaper in the morning but wasn’t aware of the change both at the store and in the newspaper. So my coupon and newspaper were at home. The store flat out told me they will absolutely NOT honor the deal without that coupon. I shop at publix 1-2x’s a week, some notice of the change would have been nice. *sigh*
