Here are the “low price” deals for Publix starting Friday 1/1. This ad will get us back on a normal Publix schedule so it will end as usual for you on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your area.

This list has been updated with new 2010 coupons!

shoppinglist1

There will not be a Publix Penny Item this Sunday. Starting next week the penny item will be the first day of the ad for your area (Wednesday or Thursday depending on where you live). Sorry Florida folks, it still doesn’t appear to be coming to your area. Most stores will start to require the coupon now. (I don’t expect them to stick to that one long.)
Remember:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price **
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less **

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL**

Has anyone done the Spot Shot Cloudy with Chance of Meatballs movie free ticket? Don’t think that movie is still playing. Can you use the ticket for any movie at a particiapting theatre? The bottle I bought also has a Try ME FRee mail in rebate for up to $5.99 and wondering which one would be better to do…They both require original receipt.

      • Allyson

It is for any movie at the theatre you choose if CWCOM is not playing.
It is valued at up to $12 for an adult ticket. When you get the email with the ticket, you must activate it within a set number of days so be sure to print it.

Just wanted to let u know that our milk in Alabama is $3.19 and i also work @ publix part time so feel free to ask me any questions =)

        • cszmommy

aprayingmomof3….I have been trying to find someone in AL to help with coupon questions. Our milk at our Publix is 2.69 this week in Huntsville. A lot of times we do not have the tear pad coupons and the extr coupon books are not here as well. Are there other coupon groups, sites, extra for our areas in AL? Anyhelp would be appreciated

          • Ryan

I am a vendor at grocery stores and Publix is not wanting coupons to be put on the shelf any longer. The only way vendors can put coupons out is if they have another display separate from the shelf. I thought this might help since I see people not seeing coupons.

            • TONJA

HEY!!! I was wondering what happened to all the coupons on the shelf. I am in Ormond Beach Florida.. and I cant even find half of the booklets that come out. My store(s) I shop at two Publix.. told me that they dont have time to be botherd with them.. So they just stick them out there all bundled up.. and if someone comes in and takes all the bundles at once.. OH WELL!!! didnt think that was fair. And they do not double at all ever in my area stores.. So why dont Publix want the coupons on the shelf anymore? Dont get that.

    • Stephanie

Anyone else having a problem finding the betty crocker coupon. I click on the link and can not find it.

    • Wow, guess I’ll be waiting til Friday. Produce will be cheaper!

Is the Tide Stain Release advertised the larger sizes, I don’t have the coupons in front of me to determine what size they consider large.

Also, do you consider the price for Honey Nut Cheerios to be a good deal since it IS the big box? I know this week was $1.99 for the small box, so .99 with the coupon. I’m assuming it would be cheaper to get the one big box for quantity reasons?

      • Oh and is the penny item starting on Wednesday the new thing for 2010?

        • aprayingmomof3

Hey there! I am new to the website and a customer of mine told me about the website. I love it! I work @ Publix part time and wanted to let you know of the new penny item we are starting. The new thing we have started @ Publix is that the Penny item is on Wednesdays and you have to clip the coupon to get the Penny item. If u dont have the coupon u wont get the item for a penny sorry lol. Feel free to ask me any questions…

          • Meri

Where can you find the coupon because I do not get a Sunday paper. Thanks!

            • aprayingmomof3

It will be in the wednesday sales paper =)

          • Rachael

Will the Publix penny item coupon still come in the Sunday paper?

            • aprayingmomof3

No it will be in the Wednesday sales paper atleast thats what they told me. I will find out tomorrow when i go in. Also, they will now only except 1 coupon off your order (ex. $5.00 off your order of $25.00 or more u can either use a Publix one or a competitor one u have to chose one or the other) you use to could use as many as u had as long as you bought enough to equal the coupons. They just changed that policy this past week. Sorry i know its a bumer…

      • Jenny

The stain release is 18ct. and I don’t think that is the large size, but I’ve only bought it once since it came out. I just included the larger coupon in case…

        • makclair

I used the 3 dollar off Tide Stain release on the 18 pack at Target the other day. They were 6.49 and I didn’t realize they would be on sale this week at Publix. So that counted as the “large”size

    • Amy – Brentwood, TN

Does Publix take expired competitor coupons? They took my $15/$50 expired coupon (by 3 days) last week, is this normal, or did i get really lucky? I shop at the Maryland Farms store…I brought a $5 CVS just incase they didn’t take it, but was curious as to how they handle expiration dates!?! My friends and family can’t believe how much I pay for groceries (a few dollars) and some want to come visit me (from the north) and watch me “shop” haha. love it!

      • marina

I think you probably got lucky. My store won’t even take Manu.Q that are expired even though they’ll still get reimbursed. A competitor’s coupon comes out of the stores pocket, so I know my store would never take it. But it doesn’t hurt to try. Maybe you’ve got a really nice manager!

      • Michelle

Yeah, probably just got lucky. I once forgot to take one out that expired the day before I went shopping and they wouldn’t take it.

      • Allyson

Just a note about your friends from up north learning your system. Over the holiday relatives were down south and we were discussing my couponing. They are from Maryland and said they have a different set of grocery stores up there and none (near Baltimore at least) double coupons or accept competitor coupons. However, they could possibly use the pharmacy stores like CVS, etc….

      • aprayingmomof3

Hey there! I am new to the site. I work @ Publix part time. We are not suppose to take expired coupons because it counts like cash in our draw. The cashiers will get written up for that. Some times a team leader might sign off on it but we will not get reimbursed as a store for it and we lose money. Feel free to ask me any questions =)

      • Stephanie

My Publix will take a expired Manu Q as long as it is within the week before they ship their coupons off on Sunday. So If I had a coupon that expired on tuesday they would take it until Sat. I usually go to the service desk to let them know first. I am not sure if they will take a expired competor coupon or not since I rarely get any of those here in Wilson Co. Tn. Management told me yesterday about a lady getting irate about not getting to use 2 manu q’s. I told him that’s what makes all the people who try to use coupons the right way aggrevated. Thanks for such a great site. Your website is the buzz word at my new publix. The cashiers ask me if I know about you.. Happy New Year!

      • My Publix takes them if they are expired in a Sunday – Saturday cycle. The manager says she sticks all the coupons in a bag on Sunday morning and sends them off to corporate and as long as you use your expired coupon sometime in that week, she takes them. Now these are only coupons that expired that week, ie: one expired on 12/28 but you didn’t realize it until 12/31 – you can bring them in and they are OK. I LOVE MY PUBLIX!!!!

    • JEB

I have two rainchecks and coupons for the Fast Fixin chicken..I want the popcorn chicken nuggets, but so far the LExington, SC store does not have them…are they discontinued? Does anyone know if the Gervais St. store or Harbison store has these? My 3 year old eats these…

      • Missi

I just bought popcorn chicken last time they were BOGO, and they had it in my store a couple days ago still. My 3 year old eats it, too!!

      • Marty

I bought the popcorn chicken at the Irmo/Hwy6 publix a few weeks ago when it was on sale

      • JEB send me an email and I will see if we can help! mgarcia@advancebrands.com !

    • Dianne

I just was told tonight that my Publix (Tyrone in St. Pete) doesn’t take Target coupons since there is no SuperTarget nearby. And, they don’t consider the small grocery section (no produce) at the normal Target nearby to qualify Target as a competitor – even for non-grocery items (like cleaning supplies, etc.). Very sad!

      • Christina

I spoke with my Publix in Oviedo (Alafaya Woods) and they will take Target coupons, even though there isn’t a Super Target close by, so thats strange, I guess it depends on the manager. They will not accept Kmart though, and will only accept Walmart Neighborhood Market, not the regular SuperWalmart.

We have 2 super targets and my publix will not take them either. I should wait a while and ask again.

      • Kimberly B

I shop in Anderson SC and my publix also will not accept Target coupons. Sad… But I can understand as we do not have a super target either.

    • Maehing O

      Jenny
I’m getting a message that there are no more prints for the poptarts. Just to let you know! Thanks… Happy New Year too!

    • Mel

where will the coupon for the penny item be located?

      • Jennifer

My penny item coupon is on the front right bottom corner of the small ad that I get with my Sunday paper.

        • Mel

I know that for when the penny item is on Sunday, but nexr week it will be on T/Wed so where will it be then. Will it be on their regularly weekly ad you get from the store or will it be in the paper on T/W?

          • Sarah

I’m not sure where you are, but in Atlanta, it will be in the Atlanta Journal Constitution… in the actual paper, not in the ad.

Publix took out a full page ad on A5 in the AJC last Sunday to tell everybody.

            • Jenny

Will the penny coupon also be in the Sunday paper or Thursday only?

            • Ln

There was a full page ad in the b’ham news as well about the penny item coupon being in the actual newspaper on Wednesdays and that is the day the penny item will be offered. It also said you would need the coupon, but like Jenny said up top, I don’t see that lasting.

            • This kinda stinks for the folks that only get week-end delivery of the AJC. I need to buy a paper on T/TH. Wonder if we can print the coupon from the Publix website.

          • Do you think it will be in the Evening Edge – the free paper the AJC throws in Atl suburbs on Wed or Thurs?

            • Beth

I asked a cashier at the New Georgia Publix where the penny item would be found. She said that it would be found in the smaller community paper that gets delivered to your home on Thursdays. The coupon will only be good on Thursdays.

    • ziggy34434

It’s a stretch, but if your Publix will do it, there is a printable for $5 off tide (toys r us store coupon). Use it with the $1 off from the last P&G insert and you get 100 oz for $4.99.

The upc on the toys r us starts with 5, so it may be a manufacturer’s coupon anyway.

This will only be good the 1st and 2nd.

      • Alison

Where do you get a printable ToysRUs coupon? Thanks!!!

    • Maehing O

I know this is the Publix reply section, but I shopped Walgreens today and found Nicorette gum ( 110 pcs packs) on clearance for 12.99, paired with the $10 off coupon making it 2.99. I rolled a RR and got 4 packs for my best coupon buddies who smoke ( Laura and Roxann), so if you read this… yes yo too can quit smoking with COUPONS!

I must love them a lot to use my RR’s for smoking cesation gum for them to quit and stick aroud for a long time!

      Happy Shopping everyone!

      • Natalie

Best book I’ve ever read was ‘The easy way to stop smoking’ it changed my life and gave me a whole new mental attitude which gums can never do. Encourage them to read it!

    • Christy

I was also wondering if anyone knows about the location of the new penny item coupons…will they be in the in-store ads or will we have to buy a midweek paper to get them…if anyone knows, please share…thanks! Happy New Year and Happy Couponing!!

      <

      • Stacey

I don’t know how valid this info is as I read it on iheartpublix.com but a post on that site explained that it was decided to move the penny item to Wednesday to coincide with Senior Discount Day (I’m not a senior). This way, they are able to put the penny coupon in their Wednesday sales ad that comes in the Wednesday paper and they won’t have to pay to run another ad on Sunday. I can understand wanting to cut down on ad costs but I guess I will have to replan my Publix shopping day because since I work full time, it will be tough for me to get my list and coupons ready and do my shopping all on Wednesday evening after getting off work. Also, I only get the Sunday paper for coupons so I hope the penny q is in the weekly ad that can be found in the turnstiles in the store.

    • Sara B

I just got a new batch of Publix baby Club coupons last week and one of them was for $10.00 off wyb 2 boxes of Pampers. so 2 boxes this week should only cost me $25.98 if I used the $10 off and (2) $2.00 offs!

      • I’m so sad that my son turned 2 and we only get the Preschool Pals stuff now….NO coupons! :-(

        • Erinn

Time to have another Alissabeth! Just kidding! (P.S. I LOVE your name!)

          • I know! :-) Thanks for the compliment!

        • Ln

We get coupons every blue moon with the preschool pals stuff…I know we got some around his last birthday (3 yrs. old in nov.) and I think we’d gotten them with my daughter too…just not as often as the baby club. There may still be hope.

          • Dianne

Ha! There was a blue moon on the 31st!! Did you get some coupons that day? :)

        • Christy

I agree, Alissabeth! Although I did get a cute little apron a few days before Christmas, which nicely complimented the Elmo’s Silly Snacks cookbook that Santa brough my son (he always wants to help me cook and look at my cookbooks)! Good thing he was napping when I opened it!

          • We got the apron too! Perfect for baking Christmas cookies with the little one!

      • SM

I hope they send mine before this sale ends. It seems I have been receiving the coupons just days after the best sales. sigh

      • SM

When does your Pampers coupon expire?

      • Miranda

I used my $10.00 off baby coupon last week with 2 $2.00 manufacture coupons…and added on the $5 off $50.00 they had for the holiday week…talk about a steal of a deal on diapers…I am going to miss those coupons. My son will be two very soon!

      • Rashel

How come my Baby Club sends Huggies coupons? =( I use Papmers. Does your location determine which coupons you get? My $10 off 2 is for Huggies. Any ideas? Thanks!

        • Michelle

I got the Huggies coupon too! I want the Pampers!!

    • does publix take rite aid coupons and walgreen coupons or do rite aid and walgreens take manuf. coupons.

      • Maehing O

My Publix in Summerville SC takes Rite Aid, WAGS and CVS.. so start with a $5 off 20/25 first… and then keep going! Just AMAZING… I LOVE Pubix!

        • Christy

If you go to the Trolley Road Publix, they have also taken my World Market coupons ($15 and $20 off)! My friends who live in the Knightsville area say that the Knightsville Publix will not take World Market.

          • Tara

Dorchester Road Publix accepts World Market as well.

        • Shawna

I also go the Publix on Trolley Rd and they take the World Market coupons but my friend that goes to the Knightsville Publix said they wont accept them. I agree w/ ya’ll. Trolley Rd Publix is the BEST!!! I sent an email to the coporate office last week and the next day the store manager, Tiki, called to say thank you. Trolley Rd Publix also accepts Family Dollar and Dollar General coupons!!

        • Ashley

I’ve noticed the competitor coupon policy is changing but many are still saying their Publix accepts WAGS, CVS, etc. Does anyone know of a great Publix in the Greenville, SC area? I currently shop at Fairview Rd in Simpsonville which is a great store but they only accept Bloom, Ingles, and Bilo competitor coupons. Those stores rarely put them out while CVS & WAGS put them more often so I’d love to go somewhere that accepts them. Thanks!

    • Yuck.. not to happy about this week. Might just stop in for a item or two. On the positive side, I’ll just eat from my stockpile and save a little for next week.

    • pharmSCgirl

I’m super excited that Orville Redenbacher is B1G1. My mom and I use to eat the caramel popcorn all the time and then couldn’t find it until the other day. The only place we’ve been able to find it is Publix. It’s great if you love caramel popcorn and you can get 2 boxes for $1.45!

    • samea

hi jenny..about the olay, cant we use the $3 off coupon from the 11/29 PG which expires 12/31??
      thanks in advance

      • Mina

The ad prices begin on the 1st. The coupon will have expired.

        • samea

          oops, u’re right, thanks:)

          • Melissa

Question–I saw that there will be a $5 coupon for the Olay facial cleanser in this week’s paper–can we use that for the cleanser that’s on sale for a really good deal?

            • meg

The $5 coupon was for the Pro-X, not the Regenerist

    • leslie

Hi, Im hoping someone can help me I have been following Southern Savers for about a year now, This week I moved from Indiana to Simpsonville SC, I now have all these new stores to coupon at i.e. bi-lo, publix, ingles, but I don’t know anything about them I’m only used to kroger, cvs, walgreens, etc. I was told by my aunt in tennessee that publix is an excellent store to coupon at, however when i visited it this evening for the first time the prices seemed outrageously high to me. Can anyone help me? am I missing something here?

      • JC

Hi – I’m also in Tennessee and while Publix prices can be high on some items the way to score fabulous deals is with the BOGO weekly deals. If I wait until something is on BOGO and use a manufacturer’s coupon I can get a really great deal on brand name items. The savings are even better and I can buy even more if there happens to be a store or competitor’s coupon for that item too and I stack the coupons. We don’t have an Ingles or Bi-Lo near me so I don’t know about them.

        • JC

I forgot to mention that Publix has tons of store coupons that come out periodically. Every month they have a Yellow and a Green Advantage Buy booklet which shows additional sales and store/manufacturer coupons. These can normally be found in my stores at the turnstile near the shopping carts at the front of the store. They also have booklets dispersed either at the turnstile, near products on the shelves, on the endcaps, and at customer service. I find a number of coupon dispensers (blinkies) throughout the aisles also. So all in all I prefer Publix over Kroger unless Kroger has something with an e-coupon I can stack or a Mega Sale.

      • pharmSCgirl

It really pays off to shop publix when they put the advantage buy coupons out, which are store coupons and then you can match up manufacturer coupons and even catch it on sale. I never buy anything at publix unless I have coupons and it’s a good deal b/c I think they are supper high as well. It’s nice to go shopping and get the penny item before handing over the coupons, then walking out only spending $1 or 2 on several items. They have an amazing bakery if you like sweet stuff but even that can be high too.

      • Val

We have dear friends in Simpsonville! You will love the Publix there and the other stores. The Publix bogo’s plus your coupons if fab and I think they double coupons there. I’m in FL so we don’t get doubles.

I used to love Harris Teeter too. I think they are still in that area.

      • Christy

Hi! I used to live in Greenville, but am in Summerville now. The other awesome things about Publix are that the stores are ALWAYS clean. The employees actually own stock in the company and are always super-friendly and helpful. If you ask someone where something is, they not only know, 9 times out of 10, they will walk you to it. The other grocery stores in our area can not compete in this area. You can also have them special order things for you that they do not carry (at no additional price)–I have never done that, but the lady looking for caramel popcorn, for example. You just have to get good at stock-piling and buying things when they are rock-bottom prices. If you shopped like most of America and just went and bought things when you ran out, yes it would be more expensive. Jenny did a post on comparing Publix and Walmart grocery prices recently. Also, I am not as adept at couponing as some and do buy things that I run out of occasionally–when this happens, I always buy Publix brand and it is always good. Publix brand animal crackers, vanilla wafer, salad dressing, soup, marinade, everything we have tried has been good—the best is the ice cream–grab it when it is $2.50 each!! I think I buy the animal crackers and vanilla wafers for my son every week or two!

      • Leslie

Hi, I’m a Leslie too! I am in the Greer area, so not too far from Simpsonville. Publix is extremely high on their regular prices, but the sales are why I shop there. For anything I have to pay regular price for (I just started this, so I haven’t built up my stockpile yet), I go to Wal-Mart because they are way cheaper on basic prices (go to the one on Pelham Road, not the one in Simpsonville; it’s newer and a lot cleaner and you don’t have to wait in long lines there). Jenny is having a workshop in Greer in two weeks that I’m going to; it wouldn’t be too far to go if you are just starting like I am. Good luck and welcome to the area!

        • Michelle

The Pelham Road and Travelers Rest Walmart’s have higher prices than the other ones in the area. I’ve purchased things at other Walmarts and when I went to return them the prices were varied at those stores.

          • Leslie

I work at the Pelham Road store, and I have been working with the pricing since we opened. Part of my job is competition, and we go out weekly to check other stores in the area and drop our prices 5% below. We can’t check every item in the store, so I try to hit the ones that sell the most, but if there is an item higher at another Wal-Mart than ours (or Target, etc.), I want to know about it and I will check it out. The store manager there is committed to having low prices, and we will fix it if we can verify it. The home office didn’t put the store on the comp trait against Target, so we are having to do it manually. If there is a specific item or items you need, let me know! But it is a lot quicker to check out, and our cashiers overall seem to be much friendlier than other stores I have worked in, and that seems to be the biggest complaint against Wally World!

      • Jenn

Welcome to Simpsonville!! We moved here a month ago. Each store has it’s advantages. Publix is the best!!! Depending on which part of S’ville you are in, depends which store/sale is the best.

        • Ashley

Just wanted to chime in and say I live in Simpsonville too! I’ve lived in the Greenville area all my life but Simpsonville the past few years. It’s a very nice town and my Publix is generally really great about everything. I wish they accepted more competitor coupons. Which ones do you shop at? Any of them take CVS, WAGS, or Rite Aid coupons?

    • Melissa

I can never find those tearpad coupons??? Also where do I find the advantage flyer at in the store…I’m new to all this and still learning.

      • Diane

I always find the advantage flyers on the kiosk that is up front right as you walk in the door. Is also where you can find Publix’s weekly sale flyer.

      • Sarah

If your store doesn’t have them in the kiosk, ask customer service. Usually the first day it’s out, they’ll have it on the kiosk, then they keep them behind the counter.

      • Rebecca

I was frustrated about the tearpad thing when I first started this website as well. Then I discovered that “tearpad” listed underneath an item on a specific stores shopping list does NOT necessarily mean that you’ll find the actual tearpad in that particular store. I don’t normally shop at Kroger, but they definitely have the most tearpads and blinkies there. When I do shop there, I’m on the lookout for good tearpad Qs to take to my more favored stores (Publix and Ingles).

    • Bridget

I have a $3 q for a Glade candle that I got when I “won” a candle in the givaway game. I LOVE moneymakers :)

      • Jennifer

I bought two of the Glade candles recently and was very disappointed…they scent is not very strong. I would not buy that brand again…

      • Jessica

For all candle lovers, watch publix when they put the large Willow Lane Jar candles on sale BOGO reg $9.99. The Cucumber & Cantaloupe smells excellent and one of the few candles I have purchased that actually burn down all the way. They had them on BOGO before x-mas and I picked up 4. You will love them!!!

      • Rhonda

What’s even better is you can use the candles for the SC Johnson Rebate. Buy 3 participating products and receive $5.00. WOO HOO!

        • Ashley

Thanks for pointing that out! I’ve been meaning to purchase items for that rebate and didn’t even realize these candles would qualify. At $0.50 a candle, they are a money maker!

    • Gillian

      Jenny,

There is a .55/1 Pepperidge Farm Bread, Rolls, Bagels or english muffins in the Share Something Delicious booklet

    • Megan

I think the $.55 Fresh Express printable is gone…. :(

    • susan

St. Augustine, FL here…does anyone know if our Publix will take 2 coupons on a B1G1 free deal? I know our Publix stores are different than ones further north.

      • Esmelda

        They do in Gainesville, FL.

      • Bridget

My cousin says the new one on SR 16 takes two q’s on BOGO’s and Target coupons too.

      • Karen

They’ll take two here in Rockledge, Fl and SuperTarget coupons.

      • Amanda

In Jacksonville, FL they do. And since you are near us, I would think your store would.

      • Carol

I live in St. Augustine and everyone I have ever shopped at does, and that’s a bunch of the St. Augustine ones:) SR 16, Cobblestone, World Golf Village, Old St. Augustine and one south on hwy 1.

      • Tiffany

I live in St Augustine and I have shopped at every Publix with the exception of Moultrie. They all let you use 2 coupons on the BOGO items. All of the store except Walgreens, CVS and Target coupons.

    • Michelle Touchton

I can’t find the WW Smart Ones Coupon that is $3/10. Is there a specific zip code I need to use?

      • Ashley

        try 20202

    • Phillis

Smyrna Publix has $1 off Rubbermaid blinkies. That will go great with the 40% off Rubbermaid this week.

    • jessicA

HEY JENNY YOU MENTIONED A “NEW BATCH OF COUPONS ON FRIDAY” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? SHOULD I GO AND GET A PAPER FRIDAY? I NORMALLY JUST DO SUNDAY ANY IDEAS OR WHAT THIS MEANS WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL!
THANK YOU AGIN FOR ALL YOU DO

      • Amber

I’m fairly certain she means new printable coupons that come out in the beginning of the month…

      • Coupons.com, Smartsource.com and Redplum.com are the ones she is referring to.

    • libby

I am really diappointed with my Publix – their policy is changing to only allow one competitor coupon per purchase. I guess I will have to do multiple transactions to use more $5 off coupons now…

      • Jenni

While it’s a bummer, it is also understandable. Publix loses a LOT of money via honoring competitor coupons (some stores used to lose 7-8K a MONTH back when they accepted ANY competitor coups – “Toys R Us” coups, for instance). They are taking a loss in order to keep you shopping at their store. But there has to be SOME cutoff, or else they lose too much money, and it’s just not worth it to keep our business, because they lose more money on us than they make. Plus, there are some people out there that absolutely abuse their generous policies and those people will ruin it for EVERYONE.

        • libby

I realize that but it is still kind of disappointing…

      • I was bummed with my Publix shopping trip this week too. I had my shopping done, everything rung up, handed the cashier (which is really nice by the way) and then she tells me that they changed their coupn policy the day before. URGH!! They no longer exepted my Harveys, Target and Save-a-lot coupons. I did notice that the list she pulled out for the DO NOT ACCEPT coupns was rather extensive. They did take my $5/$50 Publix coupon that had expired. (I had asked before shopping) So…I am a very disappointed but I guess our savings are still better than most. FYI: My total was $192.00 and I had to pay $30.00 where I could have paid about $10.00 with the coupons they no longer accepted. I know I shouldn’t complain. But thanks for listening.

        • Christine

Why are you complaining? You just got 162.00 free! Who is paying for that!

          • Amber

you must not understand couponing and deal seeking. Tearing someone down and making their hard work seem like they are taking is wrong. I think she did a great job in the savings department and I only wish that I could be that good!! Maybe you should check out Jenni’s blurb on coupons and sales and how it is actaully more beneficial to the stores. Plus we wouldn’t be couponing, now would we, if these stores and manufactures lost money on couponing and sales.

        • Mendy

I had that happen to me too–I had even checked at the customer service desk that day if I could use a couple of my competitor coupons and they said yes, but when I got to the register she said no and called the manager over and she said now also–I left without buying anything. I now drive 30 minutes out of my way to a different Publix because they still take some competitor coupons.

    • mary

can someone tell me where the 1.00 off AJC coupon is? I’ve gone to the website Jenny linked to, but can’t find the coupon

      • I thought that ended in the summer. Has it started back? That would be great news!

      • When did you hear about it?

    • Crystal

I’m not seeing the Smart Ones Coupon or the Wonka’s Gummies coupon on Coupons.com. Anyone know if it’s gone or if I need a different zip? Thanks.

      • Jenny

I just printed the wonka this morning using 30003 or 20202

    • Phillis

Publix in Antioch, Murfreesboro Road has a lot of Christmas candy (Hershey’s Kisses and more)for $1 and nice Christmas cards for $.50. If you still have any 09-20 Smartsource or Target coupons left could make for some free candy.

    • Emily

ow will you get the penny item coupon since their ad doesn’t come out until the weekend for the current deals…which will end on Tues.?

    • D

can anyone find the Wonka coupon????

      • D

nevermind just saw the post above, THANKS!

    • ashley

Man, I haven’t shopped at Publix in 2 or 3 weeks now! Their ads haven’t been so hot for me lately!

    • Dawn

My Publix doesn’t have the Wonka gummies. I looked in the candy ailse. Would it be somewhere else? (My Bilo had them for $1.50, so $0.50 after coupon isn’t bad, but free would be better!).

      • sara

I found them on a rolling display rack near the registers…had several Wonka products and other gummy things on it.

      • I found them at the beginning of the check out line…where one might find a single pepsi/coke…

    • Jen

    • Shannon

      Hello-
I am relatively new to this and saving a lot of money at Publix- Love it! I have a question though- for those of you who stockpile items, do you have a second freezer, etc.? We just don’t have the room to stockpile for 6 weeks (or more than 2 weeks!) so I’m not sure what to do there.
Also, what about perishable items or items that your family uses each week that are not on sale? For example, my husband likes the Oscar Mayer Deli Creations (which tend to never be on sale), salad, or milk? I get it when it is on sale, but I cant get 6 weeks worth of salad without it going bad, so then I end up at Walmart where I don’t want to be. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for the help!

      • Rick

We always use our CVS ECB’s for milk.

      • ashley

Hi, I’ve been couponing since August but only majorly since October when a lady in Publix told me about this site. So, the first thing we did was buy a freezer! Publix had Marie Callendar BOGO and we go through that stuff like crazy, so we had a new freezer packed within a few hours!

My common law husband(ha) likes “this turkey”, “this bread” too, but somehow or another that just went out the window when I started couponing. He sees how much we’re saving, and plus I’m the one going to the store and bringing whatever home so he has to eat it! We were able to get about 15 packs of turkey once for practically free and they didn’t expire until like a month and half. I just put about 10 slices in the freezer so we’ll see how those sandwhiches turn out.

We went and got some 5 tier shelving for the stockpile at Walmart. If you’re serious about couponing and stockpiling, then you’ll need it. Just put in miscellaneous room.

Other than that, use coupons at Walmart when you can, but I think sometimes we’ll just have to pay full price, and I’m fine with that considering how much I save on everything else!

      • Jodi

We can’t afford to get another freezer atm, although I would love one! I do have 3 storage chests for dry items and thankfully, we have a rather large kitchen with lots of cupboards. I have a cupboard that is dedicated to just to shampoo, soap, toothpaste etc, thank goodness is a large walk-in!

I used to be very brand specific about what I bought. Now, I buy what is on sale and none in my house complain at all. I am able to feed my family well, and I donate a lot of items, that I would never be able to do on a $75 dollar a week budget for everything (family of 4 and 2 large dogs).

      • Leslie

I have the same problem. I have one chest freezer, but my pantry is small and I have adequate cabinet space, but not a lot. I am thinking that I can reorganze my cabinets in the kitchen to make some more space, but I don’t think it will be that much extra. Toothpaste, etc. I can keep upstairs in another closet, but I don’t have a spare room for shelving. Anyone else with ideas? My husband was laid off in March and went back to school when he couldn’t find a job, so we are on my income only. So far, I haven’t figured out how to get it down to the $10-#40 per week that some of you are spending, but I’m serious about doing this and would love any advice!

        • Tammy

make sure to watch the wonderful tutorials Jenny has done at the top of the home page on the right at the top.

        • Dana

For non fridge/freezer items the under the bed boxes work great!

        • Sue

I am constantly re-organizing kitchen cabinets to make more space. I also purchased banker’s boxes a while back on a special deal from Office Max. I use these to store the excess drug store items in. I write on the outside what is in the box and stack them in my utility room. These can also be used to store light-weight dry goods. As long as you remember to rotate what you are using, as with any stockpile.

        • Mendy

I started couponing when my husband and I were both laid off and we had just had a baby (so diapers and formula). We went nine months spending less than $100 a month for everything–if you don’t have the money to spend you stick to your budget. :) At first we cut out all non-essentials (even if they were on sale) for items we really needed. Once my stockpile was built up we started adding extras. Just examine what you really need a week and start from there. I don’t really menu plan but I know that helps some people from going out to eat so much. As for organizing–we lived in a 500 sq. ft. apartment so I had to be to get everything to fit :) I added shelves in my freezer and shelves in my cabinets for extra storage. I went through my freezer and gave away what we weren’t using on a regular basis–it cleared up over half the space. Hope this helps!

I am buying the B1G1 at Publix each week with coupons and I pay an average of $20 with 85%+ on savings; also, bought at ALDI, Walgreens, Target, CVS, the vegetables and fruits at a local fruit stand, the meat at a meat market. I cook and freeze meals for couple months (family of three including a 7 yo daughter), and we have a freezer in the garage. I have been couponing full time since July and my stockpile is growing and growing; I can not believe how much food we have and how much we have been donating to the food pantry, and just because of the COUPONS!!! It takes a lot of time and perseverance!!!

      • deedee

Part of it is learning how to organize. I have a side by side frig/freezer, but I have it stacked and piled and filled to the gills! i cam home with 2 more boxes of BOGO appetizers and 4 more boxes of BOGO (rain check) hot pretzels and my hubby was thinking I was out of my mind because to him the freezer was too full. :) I reorganized and opened a few boxes and stuck the smaller packaged items into little nooks and crannies and made it all fit!! I am also on the look out for a small used chest freezer. When I can find one in my price range, I’ll put it in the garage.
As for my bathroom type stuff, it is in various places. Under our bathroom sinks, tissues are lined up next to the bath towels in the linen closet, hand soaps are lined up at the back of that same shelf behind my bath towels… I have had to find as many little place as possible!!

      • LindaB

If you have been looking for a way to storage your growing stockpile of non perishable items Ace Hardware has Gorilla Shelving Units for $29 after $10 rebate. Please note that this offer is good in stores only. This sale price and rebate is available all month long and the limit is three per household.

      • Tarin

We bought a refrig. with freezer on top from Craigs List, which is in the garage. Going used was the cheapest/ best for us. Now I can put a turkey in the freezer- couldn’t with my side by side in the house. I really needed that refrigerator, too! I made quite a spectacle buying up apples when they were $.99/ lb.

      • Jenn

Have you tried a site like freecycle? We have our 2nd freezer out in the garage to help with lack of storage space.

Also, empty suitcases are great for dry goods. Unused dresser drawers, under beds, in closets, etc. If you think outside of the box, there are lots of places with minimal spaces for stockpiling. HTH.

    • Lindsay

I noticed at my Publix this week in TN that they are no longer doubling the printable coupons. Has anyone else noticed this? The newspaper coupons still doubled but not he internet ones.

      • Gena

if you dont mind which publix in tennessee? I use the one in ooltewah. I would be very sad to hear that because most of the ones i use are printables.

      • Mendy

I’ve noticed for me it depends on the cashier. If your internet printable says “do not double” some cashiers will suppress the automatic doubling. You may have to try a different cashier (or a different Publix).

      • angie d

Hendersonville has been not doubling for a couple of weeks. I sent an email to the corporate office and received a call from the store manager. They are now supressing any that say do not double on them. I still am saving plenty and will just adjust what I buy. The store in Gallatin doubled the same coupons last week-they are always nicer there anyway.

      • michelle

oh please stop complaining about your lack of doubling. I live in the land of no doubled coupons and no penny item (florida). be grateful for the coupons you do have that double.

        • Trudy

LOL! Ditto! I have no idea why the stores don’t double in FL- I miss living in TN where Kroger doubled q’s (Publix wasn’t around in those days) and sometimes even tripled.

    • Jamie

I can’t seem to find the Target coupon for Glad Force Flex trash bags. Do I need a specific zip code to get it?

      • Christy

i can’t find the glad trash bag Q either. the link doesn’t go to target, it goes to the southern savers redplum printables.

The Pantene Vocal Point home mailer coupon expired on 12/31 and the new Publix ad doesn’t start until 1/01 if I am correct.

      • Erinn

There was a $3.00/2 coupon in one of the mailers from this past Sunday… not 100% sure which one I clipped it from.

      • Tanya

Can you help me with the Vocal Mailer? I signed up and I get emails all the time but never any coupons. What am I not doing?

    • Val

does anyone know if there is a Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom cleanser printable Q out there or any other Qs?
      Happy New Year Val

      • Rhonda

I went to Publix earlier today and found peelies on the cans. Save $2 on 2 cans. You can also use these towards the SC Johnson Rebate. Buy 3 participating products and receive $5.00. There is a limit of 3 rebates per household.

        • cszmommy

I am praying they are there when I go tomorrow. I need me some scrubby bubbles. Thanks for sharing.

    • Tammy

Did anyone try to get the tide 100oz using the toysrus $5 off coupon also any one with dogs publix has pedigree on sale and target has a $2 off coupon would make the big bag $8.99 great deal…

    • Marsha

I just went to Publix and they had some fliers hanging by the registers with 6 Publix store coupons on it. They are advertising the Special Olympics. The coupons are $1 each off on Downy, Charmin, Crest or Scope mouthwash, Pantene, Pampers and Old Spice/Secret. You can stack them with mfg coupons (there are a ton of peelies stuck to most of these products too).

      • Rebecca

FYI – You’re supposed to pay for these flyers. You can get one by making a $1, $3, or $5 donation.

    • Tisha

Hey ya’ll. I think the Scrubbing Bubbles that are B1G1 qualify for the SC Johnson $5 rebate wyb 3. I bought 3 without qs and paid $5.29 and I will get $5 back. I guess if you have qs it could be a money maker?

    • the ‘printable’ coupon for weight watchers at publix doesn’t work

      • Kelly

The $1/5 printable is no longer available either :(

    • Does Fresh Express not offer coupons any more? I am out and need salad but can’t find them on the site. Thanks

      • Crystal T.

I could not find it either. I scrolled all the way through the comments to see if anyone else was having trouble locating it. The Publix coupon is still good until 1-8-10. :( Maybe they will reset it soon.

    • Jill Kessler

      Jenny,
I just returned from Publix and tried to use the $3 off on 10 Weight Watchers frozen meal coupon attached to the website and there was no bar code on the coupon and Publix did not accept it? Any thoughts? The manager suggest I write you and ask if others have had this trouble?

    • Amber

Where do you get the publix coupon’s?

      • shannon

Publix has several flyers at the store. Either at the front or ask at customer service.

      • deedee

You will find a variety of coupon pages and booklets throughout your local stores. These vary from store to store and from month to month. Sometimes they are located in the spinning rack at the front entrance where the sale ads are located and some stores keep them at the service desk and you have to go and ask for one. There are often coupons attached to displays of chips or soda. Just learn to be on the coupon watch at all times at all stores!! :) When you find coupons (of any sort), they say it is OK to take 2. Next time you are back, take 2 more if you need them. But don’t take a bunch all at once, as it is not considered proper coupon ethics.
also. sometimes you can find Publix coupons at cookingwithkraft.com

    • Monica

Just FYI – there is a $1/2 Poptarts in the Mailsouth ads that came in the mail this week in the Bham area. Enjoy!

      • Carla

Thanks for the heads up – I’ll be on the look out!

    • shannon

I can not get the Olay rebate form. It says the file is corrupt and can not be fixed. Help!

    • Jenny

The Naked Juice coupons are no longer available. Does anyone else know where I might snag one? I drink one of these a day for my breakfast!!! I need that coupon!

    • Jessica

The wishbone salad dressing coupon is out! Any ideas for where to get one?

    • Kam

Just found a GREAT deal! Publix on Kennerly in Irmo had 1.50 (off one) stickies on the Nabisco 100 calorie boxes of chips ahoy and double chocolate chips ahoy. These were already BOGO, so with the stickies they were about .10 a box!

    • Kristen

I can’t seem to find the Tostitos coupon in the December All You magazine. Did anyone else find it? Do you have the page number? Thanks!

      • Kristen

Oops, I did just find a Tostitos coupon in the January All You Mag, but you have to also buy a Tostitos dip with the chips.

    • Brandie

Hi, Jenny. Are you no longer listing the drug store competitor coupons w/ the Publix deals or am I missing something? I bet it is a lot of work for you. I realize that it is late notice but for those of you whose Publix will take CVS as a competitor, there is an old IP CVS coupon that expires today for $3 off Glade Lasting Impressions and a $3 coupon for Glade Sense & Spray. If you stack that w/ the $4.50 store coupon plus use a MFC, it should be free (w/ possible overage).

    • Michelle

Went to publix today in TN and found a bin of kitchen supplies 10 for $1.00. I got paring knives, bamboo and wooden spatulas, and other misc items for .10/piece. Thought I might share so you could be on the lookout.

    • Theresa

Does anyone know which stores accept the coupons from other stores in Lexington, SC? I am new to this and I can’t wait to start saving. I am recently out of work due to a short term disability because of preg. complications and we are down to one income. We could really use the savings now. :) Thanks…

      • Kathleen

I recommend that you call the customer service desk at your store to ask about specific stores by name and ask for the name of the person who helped you, that way when you go in the store and use competitor q’s, you can tell your cashier who at customer service gave you the info. Happy couponing :]

        • Theresa

Thats sounds great…I will do that… Thanks :)

    • Sara B

i came across a food lion store Q for 1.00/2 hamburger helper…it was on a stand alone page in my book, not with the whole insert, so i’m sorry, i can’t tell you which one it was from ;( but if publix takes food lion q’s, couldn’t i combine the 1.00/2 FL with the 1.00/3 printable mani q? it would make them .98 for all 3 (.33 each)

    • Jessica

The other day I tried to use the $2/1 MC with the BOGO sale on Phillips crab cakes. The coupon would not scan so the cashier and manager both said they could not take it if it would not scan. This coupon came directly from the manufactures site. Anyone else have this problem?

      • Kate

It wouldn’t scan at my Publix either but I made puppy dog eyes and she pushed it through haha

    • Melissa

There is also a $1.00 off any Cascade action pacs or gel coupon in the Refresh Your Nest coupon booklet.

    • becky

There was also a 1/2 food lion q that exp 1/12

    • becky

Let me try again. There is a 1/2 q off Hamburger Helper that was a Food Lion store coupon in an insert about a month ago. (Sorry I don’t remember the date) Couldn’t that be used with a manu at Publix?

      • Erinn

It most definitely can be used with the Manufacturer’s coupon as long as your Publix views Food Lion as a competitor and allows usage of their coupons. It’s always a good idea to ask Customer Service prior to shopping! My particular Publix does not accept Food Lion coupons.

    • Ashley

Did anyone have trouble finding the $15 off of Nicorette coupon supposedly in the 1/3 RP? I purchased 8 papers this morning and none of my inserts have this coupon. I’m really disappointed as I was hoping to jump start my dad on his New Years Resolution of quitting smoking. Let me know if I can find it elsewhere or if I’m not the only one atleast. Thanks!

      • Rhonda

I’m in Ocala, Fl and I got two papers today and neither one had the Nicorette coupon.

      • Denise

I am in Orlando, FL and I did not find the Nicorette coupon either. Bummer. Does anyone know what happened?

      • Phillis

We had the coupon in our RP for the Nicorette. I will not be using them and you are welcome to them. You can e-mail me at phillis.rogers58@gmail.com. I think I have about 6 coupons.

      • Good for you for your resolution! I noticed at my Wags today there were boxes in the clearance for $20, so super cheap with the q!

    • David

      Hello Jenny,

Thanks again for all your hard work. I went to Publix today and spent 30.00 for 75.00 worth of groceries! With the Publix Penny coupon switching, when do you think the ads will be listed on your site? Will it still be Tuesday night? Again, thanks for all your hard work.

    • Annie

When you donate a dollar at publix for special olympics, you get several publix store coupons for $1 off.. Downy, pantene, pampers, charmin, and more.

    • Michelle

Does anyone know where to get a coupon for Philly cream cheese? I can’t find any new ones, and need it! Thanks!

      • Kathleen

There are $1 off Philly Cream Cheese q’s in the Grape magazine (their wine magazine)that expires in Feb.

    • I was at Publix and i spotted two more amazing deals. On select boxes of the Nabisco 100 calorie packs, there is a $1.50 coupon off (1) box of 100 calorie packs and with the B1G1 you end up only paying $.09 a box! Also, there is a store coupon for $1.00 off at the registers for the Crest Pro Health rinse of the Scope mouthwash and you pair it with the $.75 off manu coupon and you only pay $1.54. Good luck!

    • Tara

Funny thing happened! At Publix today and the baggers and young male cashier were discussing my coupons and how cheap that made the items! They were asking all kind of coupon questions. Pretty funny when the young teenage boys are getting into all of the savings!

    • Connie

Question, I just started the coupons several weeks ago. I think I have my stock pile and have been doing quite well, but I noticed that some of the coupons are in a magazine call All You. Does anyone know where to get this at? Would love to get my hands on one!
      Thanks,
      Connie

      • Rhonda

The magazine is found at the cash register aisles at Walmart.

      • Jennifer Reed

I love ‘All You’. It’s a good magazine and the coupons are worth more than the cost of a annual subscription. You can probably go online and order it.

      • Connie

Thank you ladies!!! Looks like a trip to Walmart is on the agenda for tomorrow!!

        • Kathleen

If you look on the right side of this site, under Great Links, Jenny has a link for All You subscription :]

      • Sharon

I ordered my All You subscription online through some “magazine fundraiser” and it was $20 for 2 years (24 issues). I’m sure if you google it, you should find it. There were several but I just went to the organization that I wanted to support (mission work in South America)and purchased through there.

    • Hannah Sparks

Is there a forum somewhere I can post coupons I have I am not going to use? I have some enfamil formula coupons and some huggies diaper coupons, some publix store, some manufacturer. Or I guess you could reply here? also some pullups coupons.

      • cszmommy

On the right hand side of this page there is a tab that says trade coupons. Go there and read how to post what you have. Also, look and see what we have posted too. I hope that helps

    • Whitney

I bought the Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mix when it was on sale last time, I pulled it out to make them and I noticed there was a coupon on the inside of the box for .50 cents off two boxes and it does not expire until september 29 2010 so make sure to check the inside of your box before you get rid of the box (you have to cut it out of the box)

    • cszmommy

I am not seeing a SS 1/3/10 coupon for the Fiber one Yogurt. The only coupon is for cottage cheese. Am I missing it somewhere oh and I have two SS insert booklets with my Sun. Paper.

      • Jenny

It is the insert dedicated to General Mills.

      • libby

I got the cottage cheese one too – must be a regional thing…

    • cszmommy

The January All You WW coupon is $1.50 on ay seven not 5. Does anyone else have something different.

    • Tina M

Some of the Betty Crocker potato boxes have 2 $1.00 coupons on them. Different varieties have different coupons, but they all have $1.00 coupon for 3 single packs or 1 multipack of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing or dips mix. They don’t expire until 5/31/10. I didn’t really need BC potatoes, but these are different varities than I usually buy and I use a lot of Hidden Valley dip/dressing mixes! The other Q’s were for Progresso broth and Green Giant steamer veggies.

    • Resa

I just tried to use some Target coupons at my Publix in SC and they said they don’t take Target anymore because they don’t see it as a grocery store.

      • cszmommy

Mine Publix told me the same thing. I might try drivin a few minutes more to another Publix and see if they will take them.

        • Reagan

          which store was it??

    • Emily

It took me forever to load the Orville Redenbacher game and after going through all that and registering it never gave me the coupon.

      • terri

I had the same issue- think it is expired already.

    • Deena

My Publix Rocks!!!! I shop at the Marketplace at Maryland Farms location in Nashville, TN. We have had a cold spell, so my husband went shopping to keep the children in. I called to confirm Sunday hours and Abby at CS was so kind. I told her what was going on and asked if there was a patient cashier because of the coupons. She told me to have my husband look for her and she would take care of things. She not only helped with a cashier at the end, she took him on a tour of the store and helped him with our list. Can you believe that? That store rocks everytime. I pass two or three stores to get over there because they are just so customer friendly; and they like couponers. Win/Win in my book.

      • libby

Wow that is so great – Publix has always been helpful in the past but that is taking it to a new level!

      • I *heart* MF Publix store. They’re so awesome!

      • Vicki

Yes I heart publix too. Last year when I was on crutches for 2 months. I would bring my shopping list (to my favorite Publix here in Birmingham, AL on Caldwell Mill Rd) and coupons to the Customer service desk and they would go find my items and as always help me carry them to my car. Love Love Love them!!

    • shannon billingsley

I emailed Publix today about the mystery item being moved to the middle of the week. No one at my store even knew when/where the coupon would be available. If it had not been for this site I would not have had any advance notice of the change because the store did not post any info. I just dont have time to make it to the store in the middle of the week. I really think Publix dropped the ball on this one.

      • Well, it may not be convenient for you, but it makes sense from a marketing standpoint. RIght now, they have a promotion to bring in customers on what is already the biggest shopping day of the week- Sunday. By moving it to Wendesday, they not only encourage you to shop on the slowest day of the week, they also save on advertising and combine it with the senior discount day. It’s a smart business decision, and I don’t blame them one bit.

    • Marina

The Publix at Bridgemill, Canton Georgia has peelies on scrubbing bubbles for $2.00 off when you buy 2. Making it about .70 a can

    • Michelle

Anyone find the coupon for the penny item? I didn’t have the usual Pulbix ad in my Sunday paper.

      • libby

“There will not be a Publix Penny Item this Sunday. Starting next week the penny item will be the first day of the ad for your area (Wednesday or Thursday depending on where you live).”

    • LR

I couldn’t get the skinycow coupone to print. Message said “there are no prints available for this campaigh”. Anyone else have problems?

      • Rhonda

I got the same message when I tried printing today.

    • This week the Walgreens ad is full of coupons. Are these manufacturers coupons or considered Walgreens coupons? I did not know if they can be combined with manufacturing coupons and Publix coupons found in this months flyer? Can someone help?

      • Tausha

These are store coupons. Most Publix aren’t so friendly about Wags coupons, but SOME do…not in my area :) And, usually Publix will only allow one Store and one MFG coupon per item. They won’t typically stack store coupons since it’s a loss to them. hth and happy shopping!

      Question about Snapple Deal:

Advantage Coupon is B2G1 Free 6pk Snapple

Will this divide out the price among all 3? Can I use 3 of the $1 manuf coupons or can I only use 2? Any thoughts on how this should work?

      • sara

Found out my answer tonight. They took 3 of the $1 off six pack of Snapples along with the store coupon for B2G1 Free!

    • darrell

hey do yall know if there is a $5 off $25 coupon at rite-aid or anything else we could use this week? thanks so much!

    • rebecca

Just wanted to let you know that I found a coupon for Barilla pasta in the Sunday paper for $1 off 2 Barilla pasta. With the Publix sale of $.79 for a box of pasta plus the coupon, each box is $.29. Just wanted to pass this along.

      • The coupon I have in my paper is for Barilla PLUS pasta, which is not included in this sale.

    • Hey Jenny! I found a coupon for $1.00 / 1 Orville Redenbacher’s pop corn. If you buy one of the deals and use the coupon it makes it .37 cents! :)

      • Wende

        Where did you find it?

    • Michelle

I’ve been a little sad about the penny product move and having to buy the Wed paper. (We only get the Sun. paper) And you’ll never believe what happened this afternoon, the newspaper company called and offered me every day delivery for free until the end of my subscription which is 5 months. Now I’ll automatically get the Wed paper…for free. I don’t know how that happened but I like it! :)

    • Hannah Sparks

Help! Printed the cheerios coupons from above. one of them says “save $1 on TWO when you buy TWO BOXES of honey nut cheerios”

does this mean save $1 on each box so really its $2 off 2 boxes? Thanks!

      • No, it means save one dollar off two boxes. Use one coupon for two boxes of cereal.

    • In case no one’s mentioned it, there’s a $1.50/1 Purina dry cat food Publixq in the Savings for all Seasons booklet

    • Michelle

The Rubbermaid 40% was a great deal, and even better because there were 1.00/1 Blinkies there now.. Sweet deal..

    • I just checked my April 1st & 14th Woman’s Day and I don’t see a coupon for Skinny Cow

    • Didn’t read through all the comments, so someone may have already mentioned this. Won’t the Scrubbing Bubbles count towards the SC Johnson $5 rebate? Making them FREE even without the coupon? Hope I’m right!

      • Rhonda

Yes, you can use the Scrubbing Bubbles towards the SC Johnson rebate(total of 3 times per household. I found $2/2 peelies on the cans at the Publix in Ocala, FL. This will even make for a better deal.

    • Rebecca

      Jenny,
I’m so confused! Is the penny item coupon going to come out on Wed. or Thursday? And, is it going to be good only one day (the day your county/store starts the ad), or both days? TIA!

      • Lisa

        Hi Rebecca,
I just asked at my Publix in Alpharetta, GA today and was told that the penny coupon will be in the Wednesday paper and be available only on Thursdays when our new week starts. She also told me I would need to have the coupon (although my store has never required it in the past. We’ll see if they do now).
        Hope that helps!

    • I can’t find the fresh express coupon. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Thanks

    • Lisa

FYI, I got a free Colgate toothpaste at Publix this morning by stacking the .50 Target coupon (doubled) I received in a mailer last week with a manufacturer’s coupon for $1.00 off Colgate for sensitive teeth. I did buy the sensitive teeth formula, don’t know if it would work otherwise. That’s the kind I always buy anyway, so I’m happy! Colgate is on sale this week for $1.99.

Also, I used two $2.00 Target ham coupons toward two packages of Publix sweet deli ham that is on sale for $2.99 per package this week. That brought it down to $1.00 per package of ham. I can live with that!

      • Amy B.

Competitor’s coupons don’t double, so it’s a fluke if yours did. (Consider it lucky!) For anyone looking to do this deal it will be $1.50 if your store will take Target as a competitor (most do not anymore).

Also about the ham coupon – Most Target Q’s read one per transaction, and these same rules should be followed when using them at competitors.

Sounds like you might be new to coupons Lisa so be sure to read the tutorials and the policies and stick to the wording on the coupons!

        • Lisa

          Hi Amy,
Actually, I’m not so new to couponing. I am aware of my Publix store’s coupon policy and even had the cashier check with the store manager about using the Target coupons for the ham. They gave it their blessing :) I am an extremely honest and concientious couponer. My Publix (Atlanta area) accepts Target coupons without question and I even asked if they were changing their policy with the new year and was assured they have not changed it to date. As far as not doubling the competitor’s coupon, you are most likely right that it did not double, my mistake, so that would make the toothpaste .50.
In any event, I don’t see the need to belittle other here.

      Hi,
I was just wondering about matchups for the Green Advantage Buy flyer. I picked a few up at Harbison today. It went into effect 1/2 and goes until 1/29

Just thought I’d pass on that you can get Advil (40 ct) for free using the $3 coupon from the Green Advantage flyer that was in the 1/3/10 paper along with the $2 manufacturer coupon from the 11/15/09 Red Plum. It was $4.45 minus the $5 in cpns actually gave me .55 overage on each one.

It’s my understanding from the statement in my Sunday paper a few weeks ago that the penny item will be in the Wed. newspaper starting Jan. 6. (I’m in the Charleston, SC area)
