      • Melanie H.

I just found this in my box this morning too and was so happy! No indication on outside of box, either!

        • Theresa

Was it only on the flavored? Just wondering before I open all 8 of mine lol :)

          • Melanie H.

            in maple brown sugar box

      • Joy

Just open all 4 boxes and two had the q’s! Woo-hoo! Thanks for the heads up!

      • SM

Found two more in the boxes I bought today a Kroger. Flavor Variety with Maple & Brown Sugar, Cinnamon & Spice and Apple $ Cinnamon. HTH

    • Michelle

There’s a .50¢ coupon for any Eggsland’s Best Eggs in the Feb./March Taste of Home magazine. When doubled, this would make the eggs listed above $1.00.

      • Teri

there is also a $.50 coupon in the Jan/Feb Cooking Light – yay!

        • jessica

there is also a .50 off in the feb issue of parenting mag…:) YEAH!

      • meg

and .50 off in the Feb issue of Ladies Home Journal – along with a pullout with several good coupons – Dole, Minute Rice, Bertolli Olive Oil, etc.

    • Tamara

Thanks for having this ready so early :)

    • Shauna

Thanks!! I was waiting for this. You made my night!

    • Tamara

I am having a hard time with the soft scrub coupons. it says that they are ready, but they will not print. I’ve tried 3 times.
Any suggestions? There is also a red X on the picture.

      • elizabeth

I’m having the same trouble. I click the download button and it says they’re ready. Nothing happens!!!

        • renee

cant get soft scrub to work either.. red box & no print..ughhh..help

        • kiley

i am also having that problem. so frustrating!

          • Robin

Same here. It re-routes me to put my e-mail in and says they’re ready but nothing. Frustrating.

            • Angela

You have to log into your newly created account after you click thru your email to verify email address and then click the coupon section.

        • Michelle

I was having the same problem…here is what solved it. Right click and choose “open in new tab” (depending on which Windows you have the wording might be a little different). For some reason the web site seems to be blocking its own pop up somehow. So, once I did that, the new tab (or window) had the brick coupon ready to print.

      • Roz

Here’s what I did to get the B1G1 coupon. I also got the red x and nothing happening when i click the click here to download. So I right clicked on the link and clicked “print target” (I have vista) that worked for me!

        • Roz

I also did that with the $1.50 off as well!

          HTH!

        • tammy

I have XP and it didn’t work for me. Just my luck. I am going to try calling them. Their office is not open yet.

        • Tiffany

I can’t find the B1G1, is it at the same website, I only see three q’s for individual buys… Please help. thank you

      • Joy

        same here..will not print

    • Erin

Dang, I just bought Gala Apples at 6pm tonight for $3.49. Will Publix refund the $1.00 savings?

      • Linda

Yes. I actually went to exchange a Hillshire Farms lunchmeat pack the day after a sale started, and she refunded me the difference without me asking for it. You just need your receipt.

        • Erin

          Thanks for the info!

    • Shannon

When does the sale start in Columbia SC? Is it the same day as the penny item? Just trying to figure out what day to get the paper and go to Publix. Thanks!

      • Vanessa

The sale starts on Wednesday(1/20) in Cola. The penny item is always the first day of the sales now…depending on your sale start date.

    • AWS

Anyone else having problem with the soft scrub coupon? It says click here to download coupon but nothing happens, not even in my pop up blocker.

      • Brenda

I am having the same problem.

      • Amy

Didn’t work for me either :(

      • karen

Hi, I finally got the soft scrub coupon to PRINT! I turned off my popup blocker and it printed fine. Good Luck

      • Michelle

You can also right click and choose “open in new window” or “open in new tab” and it should come up.

    • Susan Two

Soft Scrub worked fine for me this afternoon. Try adding bricks.coupons.com and print.coupons.com to your Trusted Sites and see if that helps.

    • Kelly

Yay, thanks for getting this up a little early!

    • Jennifer

I don’t have the Aunt Jemima syrup coupon. Anybody find it somewhere else? I get the Birmingham News.

      • Becky

Nope. BH News did not get it. Bummer. And no Arnold’s bread Q. And the Steamfresh Q’s were .35 not .50. Oh well. It’s also made me realize we are probably getting other Q’s that aren’t listed in the match-ups… I usually check the hotcouponworld.com coupon database to see if they list other coupons I might have that don’t get listed.

        • Jenny

That’s the database I use to make them so if you ever find ones I missed let me know :)

    • Denise

Today I shopped at Publix for only the 2nd time in my life. I have to say….I LOVE IT!! Thanks to this website, I bought $65 worth of groceries for $22!! Thanks Jenny!!! YOU ROCK!

    • Emily

Am I missing something with the Aleve? The coupons we received in our paper say $2 off a box of 40 ct or higher. Then I go to the link you have for printable and it says $2 off also. Where is the $1 off coming in and how do you get it for .05 cents. I would love some Aleve at this price! But, I just can’t seem to find the right coupon. If I use the $2 off I have to get the bigger box which I added and I am paying $6 for 2 boxes.

      • Karen

There is a $5 off 2 in the green advantage flyer.

      • beth-paulding co GA

        here is the math
        2 boxes of Aleve (24ct) @ 3.55 = 7.10
less store coupon (from Green Adv. Flyer) -$5 off 2 boxes = 2.10
less qty of 2 coupons (mfg q’s) of $1.00 ea = .10 cents
        .10 cents divided by 2 (boxes)= .05 each
        hope that helps….

        Aleve 24ct $3.55
-$5/2 Aleve Products Green Advantage Buy Flyer (store coupon)
-$1 off Aleve coupon on select boxes
-$1 any Aleve RP 1/3 or printable and printable(IE) or printable(FF)

        • Sean

All the Aleve coupons mentioned from what I’ve seen are 40ct or higher, unless this is just a regional variation.

          • Ashley

I had a 20ct or more coupon for $1 found in a booklet from Publix Pharmacy. I actually ended up paying a penny for each Aleve because I bought the $3.51 box! :)

            • Kris

Several Publix stores in ATL has the 24 count Aleve as a Yellow Advantage buy for $1.97! So it would be free with the $5/2 without any additional coupons.

        • Emily

Thanks for the comments to try and help-I guess I didn’t make my question clear. I understand the math IF I HAD A $1 COUPON. All the coupons I have and the printable that it takes me to is $2 off a 40 count or higher. The boxes for 40 count are more expensive. Thanks again for the help.

          • carolyn

i couldnt find them so when i went to publix there were some on the bottles one small bottle had one and all of the larges ones did. it was the same coupon as the one on the small bottle it just said -1.00 off one aleive so i swiped it . sometimes the coup.comes from the factory and other times employees put them there because i have seen pepsi and chip co. putting them there. its worth a try

            • Vanessa

Taking peelies is against the “good couponing manners” rules.

            • carolyn

even if one sm. bottle already had the sane coupon on it? i didnt peel them all just one to give myself a total if two. so i only purchased two bottles ,i didnt clean the shelf . i never buy more than 3 of the same when using both store and manu coupons .i follow the six week rule when stock pileing.so i guess this is a grey area for me. if i took peelies from one store and used them some where else or put them in my binder. but then again its not really for me to say . i dont see much difference in grabbing a peelie and taking tearpad coups. from one store to use at another store .so if tearpad coupons are placed next to the product dont you think that they want you to use it at that store on that product?

            • Vanessa

The peelie is intended for the product that it is attached to. If you take the coupon you need to buy that product. Jenny & I & probably a bunch of other people are “sad”(as Jenny puts it) when we buy a product that has the shiney part of the peelie sticky left behind(so we know it had one), but we don’t get the coupon. Tearpads are totally different-they are not attached to anything specific. I don’t use tearpads elsewhere because I only shop at Publix & Bi-Lo for food(no tearpads at Bi-Lo).

      • Don’t forget to use the $5.00 off 2 from the green advantage flyer with your manufacter coupons. You can use both.

      • Carrie

No, it’s not just you Emily. I discovered this with the initial deal posted right after the ‘not committing coupon fraud’ post. So I was on my toes on the fine print on all the coupons and the only thing that would’ve made the Aleve deal work would’ve been a $1/1 peelie on a box or a blinkie, neither of which were there so I did not get this deal.

    • Sean

$1 off Publix Fresh Ground Beef, 2lb.+ in Yellow Advantage Buy flyer makes Lean Ground Beef, 7% Fat, $2.99 lb.

      • Becky

Yay Sean! I always look for your comments b/c I know you’ll always have something else most others don’t see. Gracias!

        • My Publix accepts Food Lion coupons but I am wondering if they will accept the $1/5$ butcher brand meat from Food Lion also.Add that to the Yelow Advantage buy and it makes it an even better deal !

          • Natalie559

My Publix (Tally, FL) will not let you stack a competitor and a publix store coupon- only a manufacturer with either a competitor or publix store.

            • carolyn

i think you have a manager who likes to make up his or her own rules. never had that problem .and a publix in brunswick ga,is one example they will take one each . one manu., one comp. ,one store coup. but they are picky about who is a comp and who is not and on any given day these rules are subject to change depending on the cashier or manager one manager said i will take target as comp. but not alot of them so then i asked if he could be spacific and all i got was blah blah blah so if it works for you today great cause who knows about tomorrow good luck!

          • Shannon

I brought the coupon about the butcher’s brand beef and they would not except mine. They said that they do not carry that brand. So good luck… :)

    • Becky

I don’t see the Iams dog food coupon when I go to the link provided. Any pointers?

      • Joanne Thornton

When you are directed to the site, on the right it says Samples and Coupons. You must click there and request them to mail the coupons to you. You have to be registered first.
        Hope that helps.

    • Misty

Use Free Lay’s Dip wyb (2) Bags of Frito Lay Snacks tearpad with $2 off (2) Pepsi 2 liters and (2) Lay’s and/or Doritos chips, 11 1/2 oz or larger Dollar General coupon to score some cheap Pepsi, chips, and dip if your Publix accepts them.

      • Sharon

Also, add in the $1.00 off any frito lay product from cvs.com (retailers coupon) and you’re really raking in the savings!

      • Shannon

@ Sean…where did you get the free dip wyb ……coupon. I never see tearpads in my store?

    • Amanda

I am having trouble finding the 4$ Iams coupon. Any thoughts??

    • Amber

Oh, how I wish my Publix doubled coupons…

      • katie

        amen sister !

      • Chrissy

I’m new to Publix, but my store doesn’t seem to double either. SW GA (Albany). Today, I used the .40 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (not an IP – didn’t say do not bouble)and it showed .40 on my receipt.

      • Me too!

    • Foxfunds

There is a $1/1 Q in the RIB at CVS this month for Stacy’s Pita Chips, if you didn’t use them on the $10 ECB wyb $20 this week. :D

    • Momof2 (Greer,SC)

I can’t find the New York Texas Toast. Please help!

      • penny saver

        Try zip code 08822.

        • Momof2 (Greer,SC)

          Thank you so much!

        • Jenni

          This helped me, too! Thanks!

    • GGA

I can’t find the Iams dogfood coupon. All I saw was a $3 coupon they mail to you, but nothing printable. Anyone know how to find it?

      • Chrissy

I have the $3 Q and am not going to use it. I could mail it to anyone who needs it.
It was mailed to me after registering…not sure if there is an IP Q.

        • Christy

I’ll take it if it hasn’t been claimed yet–we spend around $40/month on Iams!!!!

    • Betsy

I am in GA, Atlanta and I did not find the SS coupon for Jiffy Pop popcorn that was supposed to be free. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks again Jenni!!

      • Amy

Same here, Betsy – that coupon did not show up in my AJC.

        • Carrie

I don’t think AJC had the popcorn coupon. I kept thinking I might have cut it out and then threw it away but with two of you posting this makes me think for sure it was not in our region.

          • i live in Atlanta too and there is a great coupon database for Atlanta only here…http://www.couponmom.com/coupons.php?market=1
i keep it bookmarked so when i am analyzing Jenny’s deals, i can see which coupon came out in my market (or didn’t….which happens somewhat frequently. You might have to sign up to have access..

Sorry Jenny hope you don’t mind me posting that link..your site is my homepage. Because you have the easiest to site deals to read on the internet.. And the deals work.. Some sites list deals (even ones that charge you!) but they are wrong some of the time because they use a computer and don’t actually check the fine print matching the coupons.. i rarely if ever have had that happen w/you!

iF i was wrong to post link feel free to delete.

            • Lana

The coupon you are looking for is Jolly Time not Jiffy Pop.

          • Kim

I live in Suwanee (north of ATL) and we get the AJC. We didn’t have this coupon either and I’m BUMMING because that is my favorite popcorn. I was hoping to get some free!!!

    • There are various magazines that have the .50/1 Eggland’s Best coupons. I know Cooking Light and I think the other is Woman’s Day. This would make them $1!

    • Dave

did anyone else have any luck finding the arnold bread or dole fruit cup coupons? I keep looking in the inserts and dont see them anywhere.

also, what are the dates for the yellow flyer with the 1.00 off of fresh beef…I have not seen that in an of the publix around me…thanks very much!

      • Debra

        Hi, Dave

There is a 75 cent coupon off 2 fruit bowls or fruit bowls in gel, and another 75 cent coupon off 2 fruit parfaits in the smart source insert of 1/10/10, also there is a $1.00 off coupon in the yellow advantage flyer on ground beef on a 2lb. purchase or more.

      • deedee

I BELIEVE THE YELLOW FLYER ends Feb. 5th.

    • Kiki

Do I need to pick up a green advantage buy flyer somewhere? Where do I get those coupons? I don’t think I have seen them in the store before. Maybe a dumb question. Sorry!

      • Jennifer

Most Publix now has them behind the service counter. You have to ask for them now. :o)

      • My stores have green stands that spin around. There are ads, advantage flyers, other store information flyers and tear pad coupons sometimes. They are right inside the door, to the left or right.

      • Jason

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the answer Alissabeth!

      • Suzi

I have some extras if you need some and cant find any. e-mail me ‘suziandthe2guys@yahoo.com’

        • Suzi

thats ‘suziandthe3guys@yahoo.com’ I need to watch what I type

      • Syndi

The AJC has had them in the Sunday paper the week that the store is releasing them also. I pull them out and just keep with publix…

    • Robin L

Just wanted to say thank you for all you do to help us and our families save money and make ends meet.. God Bless you Jenny !

    • Tatiana

There was a $1 peelie for Uncle Ben’s original converted rice in stores this past week.

    • Amy C. in GA

After searching for the J&J Mini First Aid Kits before with no success, I’m forced to ask: Where in the pharmacy area is this sweet little gem located? An end cap perhaps? All I can find are the beastly large ones for $15(ish).

      • I looked high and low last week for these, couldn’t find them either!

        • Robin

They are with all of the trial sized items. Mine were located on a small shelf in the pharmacy. Good Luck

      • Cheri

you will find them in the travel/trial size section

      • Amy C. in GA

Ooh! I’m on the hunt! Thank you!!

      • Carrie

the mini travel kits were in the pharmacy/shampoo area of my Publix. But they were not with all the J&J products. They were in a hanging item area with other various travel items.

      • Kim

My Publix had about 1/2 an aisle that they dedicate to travel sized items and it’s in the pharmacy section. Check there. Mine carried them but were out of them last week, so I’m trying again tomorrow.

      • These are sold out at my Publix, but walmart has them for $.97 in the travel/trial size section so you could always get them free there.

        • Victoria

Target usually has them for $1 too. In the travel size section.

          • Ashley

publix in greenville, sc has them in the travel size items and in the pharmacy section. two different locations in two different stores.

    • Ashley

      Jenny,
I know you hear “Thank you” a whole lot, but THANK YOU, again! What you are doing means a lot to me and so many others, makes things a little better for so many families.

    • Sharon

Does anyone know if you can use the “coupons” in the Rite-Aid ad at Publix? They say “manufacturer coupon,” but I’m not sure they really are… Thanks.

      • weslie

My Publix accepts them. Look at the bar code on the bottom if it starts with RAC then it’s a Rite Aid Store coupon so if your Publix considers them a competitor you should have no problem. They all say manufacturer coupon on them but 9 times out of 10 they are Rite Aid Qs.

        • Shelby

Does anyone know if the Publix in Ooltewah accepts them?

          • Andy

The Publix in Hixson TN will take the Rite Aid coupons that say Manf. q along with their store q. I did this yesterday to get the Aleve. I used Publix $5 off 2 + RA Video $2 off q. Hope this helps.

          • Kelli

I used the Rite Aid coupons in Ooltewah…worked perfect! :)

      • I’ve had some take them and some cashiers not – they say man q but there is no address to mail them in for reimbursement. I always carry a back up coupon when I try to use one of these.

    • tina

Just wanted to say, Thanks for all you do Jenny!! I am on pins and needles waiting to see the ad with match ups every week!!
Thanks!! I’ve saved so much money using your site!! Your the greatest!!

    • CouponNERD

Thanks for the great list, Jenny! I just called the Forest Dr Publix and the penny item is Publix brand big roll of paper towels!

    • Amy

bi lo has in ad coupons. I think they should be good at Publix???? Is that correct? I cannot find penny item coupon in paper. Very frustrating.

    • Patty

Went to Publix lastnight on 2 Notch Rd. and bought Steak-Ums that were listed in the freezer section bogo reg. price $4.49 each. They rang up full price at register went to Customer Service–it was an error on their part so I got them FREE for the BOGO mistake. In the future if something that is bogo does not ring up 1/2 price then CS will give the product to you for free.

      • Michelle

In my experience with Publix, if the same thing rings up incorrectly twice they usually give you the first one free and then adjust the 2nd one to the correct price.

        • Carrie

Same experience at my local Publix which has happened on more than one occasion making for really great freebies and half priced items. I just love Publix!

BUT on the other hand Wal-Mart will not do this for any customer, you’ll just wait the ten minutes it takes them to find the item, then they will adjust it down to the listed price. Wonder how many times I have given them more money than what the item was actually on sale for.

    • Dona

Anyone else having problems locating the Luzianne tea coupon and the Daisy sour cream? Both are great deals – can’t find the coupons!!

      • Misty

I found the daisy, but my luzianne was expired. It was in the birmingham newspaper coupons.

        • Dona

Thanks! Maybe we don’t get the Daisy coupons in our paper insert.

    • Todays penny item is Publix paper towel

    • Kris

Bertolli sauce has a $1 off peelie….it can be found on various packages of Sargento cheese.

    • angela

Are there any other MAC users out there having trouble printing bricks coupons?
I used to be able to print them in Safari using the “xs” or “vi” codes, but now this doesn’t work any more. Wondering if there is a way to fix this. Thanks.

      • deedee

I use Mac,but use Firefox and I till have trouble with bricks coupons!! Occasionally one will print, but usually not.

        • Cindy from GA

I have a PC and have never been able to print any coupon off of Foxfire. I have downloaded their printer to no avail. Each time it just keeps rebooting it’s print page and nothing happens. Very frustrating.

    • Melanie H.

Does anyone remember the zip for -$5 off Sudafed? Just finding the -$4 one. Thanks!

    • Sheila

You make it so easy for my family to save money even on my busy schedule! Thanks so much for your hard work!

    • Andy

Does anyone know what the Penny Item is? Maybe I’m just getting old and didn’t see it in the comments. Thanks so much

    • Tricia

For the pillsbury roll printables, it says “do not double or triple” but she says on the list that with the printable it will make the price only $.66 (on sale for $1.66). Will Publix double the q anyway?

      • ET

It depends upon the Publix and even then it depends upon the cashier. Many still do double those but ours in Newnan, GA doesn’t. I have not had any trouble with Kroger doubling them or FL when they do triple coupons. Check with your service desk before you go through the check-out line.

      • Yolanda

All of my printables that have “do not double or triple” usually double at Publix when the cashier scans them. I haven’t tried it anywhere else.

      • Angel in Charleston

The Trolley Road store has always doubled these coupons, as long as the UPC started with a 5, but today they didn’t. The register doubled it automatically and the cashier hit a button to suppress it. This is the first time this has happened to me, so I asked why he did that. He said they are supposed to if it says DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE. Oh well, Publix is still the best place to shop!

        • Sarah S.

I shop at the Goose Creek location and when that happened to me I went to the customer service desk and complained (in a polite way) and they gave me the additional savings.

    • C. Fortner

Jenny- I came to your workshop a week ago and this is my FIRST offical week doing the extreme couponing. I did not realize I would be able to start so soon. I am SO excited. Thanks for the lesson.

      • Leslie

I went to a workshop last Saturday, too, but I had already started a few weeks prior to that. The extra information was amazing, and it really made a difference. This is the easiest website to use, and it has made such a difference. I just can’t wait to be one of those people who spend $10 and get over $100 worth of groceries. I’m still around the spend 40 get 100 range!

I had the best shopping trip today: 16 Yokasabi Noodles (.21 overage ea), 10 of the Yogurt (free after coupons dont remember what kind starts with a “C”, 28 cans of tomatos (used the $1/4 blinkies (8 of them) AND the FLIP ($1/3 (9 of them), one local paper (.50) one penny item (paper towels) and 2 vitamins (.21 overage for 2) and PAID .40 cents for ALL of it

      • Val

How were you able to use eight $1/4 blinkies? That would be 32 cans of tomatoes.

      • Erinn

How and where do you get so many coupons???

    • Tina

Could someone help me find the Uncle Ben’s Q in the paper? SS or RP was omitted. Thanks.

      • keb2009

Uncle Ben’s Original Converted Rice, 5 lb bag, at $6.99 ($3.49)
-$1/2 Uncle Ben’s White or Brown Rice RP 1/3

Is anyone else having trouble getting the rebates to come up for Dole and Planters/Nabisco? I’ve tried several different times and they do not come up.

      • Jennifer

I couldn’t get the Dole to come up no matter how many times I tried. I think I will buy the required amount anyway hoping i can get it from a friend or a trade.

        • Lana

The PDF file for the Dole rebate took a long time to load.

      • .Jennifer

I finally got the Dole rebate to print but now I’m a little worried. While reading the fine print I saw that it says: “The Special Offer expires once 10,000 households have climed the Special Offer coupons…”

This has been going on for 10 days now already. What do you think the chances are that there are any left?

What do y’all think? I am a little wary to buy 8 of these things without knowing if I’ll be elligible.

    • Dawn

I just tried the rebates again and they came up.

Thanks for all you do…I cannot tell you how much money you’ve saved me since November.

      • Becky

I still can’t get the Dole rebate to come up!

    • debbie

There is a Harveys coupon that is $1.00 off 2 Pillsbury Crescent rolls. This can be stacked with a manufacturer q. if your Publix accepts Harveys.

    • Christy

THANK YOU JENNY!! I just got back from my Publix trip. My bill was $180.73 before coupons and sales – I paid only $80.73 – that’s over $100.00 savings and I stocked up on lots of great stuff!! I really learned a lot at the workshop on Saturday. I can’t wait until I am so stocked up that my bill will be even lower!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

    • Kelley

My Post Cereal coupon is $1/2 but based on the wording it seems like it is only for Grape Nuts, Shredded Wheat or Raisin Bran. Anyone have success using it for the Honey Bunches of Oats?

      • Lara

I noticed that that coupon limited the selection to three other cereals (not the Honey Bunches of Oats), at least in my paper. So, I’m not going to use it. It doesn’t say “ANY Post cereal.” That’s just my take on it…

    • Robynne

I am an newbie and have what may be a dumb question: On the B1G1 Honey Bunches of Oats, the coupon I see in the 1/17 SS says it is for “these Post favorites: Grape-Nuts, Shredded Wheat, or Raisin Bran”. Therefore you can’t use it on Honey Bunches of Oats, am I wrong? Thanks is advance.

      • Michelle

That’s what I would conclude as well.

    • Summer

I cant get the Morningstar Farms to print, anyone else having this problem??

      • kim

Don’t feel too bad. I printed it and considering how much ink was used printing the ad below the coupon, I think I spent more on it in terms of the cost of the ink than it, the coupon, was worth!

        • Vicki :)

You should be able to enable your printer to display a preview before printing. That way, if there is an ad at the bottom of the page, or if the coupon prints at the bottom or middle, you’ll know and can put the right paper in accordingly. I use half or third sheets all the time.

    • kristin

Some of the Schick titanium razors have $4 off now peelies on them good for the trimmer razors too. Would make 2 of them 1.69!!!

      • Maximus

        Nice find!

Unfortunately the -$2 coupons from SS 11/22 expired on 01/03/10, at least those found in the Charleston, SC area inserts.

I hope I can spot some of those peelies because that’s a better deal anyway.

    • K Wilson

The link for the Hunts tomatoes is not a manufacturer – it’s a Food Lion Store coupon.

    • Katherine

FYI- The Hunt’s Q that prints from Food Lion is a store coupon for $1/3, not a manufacturer coupon. If you stack the $1/3 store Q with the $1/4 blinkie Q from the store, it should be approx $.19 ea for four.

    • AngelaDH

Did anyone else have the NY Texas Toast ring up at full price? The bread sticks also did but the Ciabatta rang up on sale.

      • Amy

Only SOME of the New York items are on sale. you have to be careful. My cashier in Duncan, SC pointed this out to me. The ones that are $3 or more are not on sale. The light version is also not on sale. Only the smaller less expensive boxes are on sale.

      • deedee

All of them were BOGO at my south Fl store.

    • Carolin

Has anyone done the Kimberly Clark rebate? I’m thinking about buying Bertolli Pasta Sauce, 15-24 oz jar, at $3.75. I know that your total has to be $30. My question is since they are B1G1. Will that be counted as I spent 7.50 or will it count as 3.75

      • Chrissy

No, it wouldn’t show $7.50. I bought Bertolli today -it’s $2.79 in my store- on the receipt it shows as: $1.40 for the first one and $1.39 for the second one.

        • Carolin

          thanks for the help!

      • Amy B.

Caroline – if you happen to be in FL, it will show 2 at full price and then minus the free one. In this case, the free one counts because you can circle it on your rebate form. If elsewhere, you have to buy more because they ring up 50% off.

        • Carolin

Thanks for your help. I live in North Florida. I always get so jealous of other states that do double coupons, but this time I’m glad I’m a floridian.

    • Trina

My Post SS 1/17 coupon is specifically for Grape Nuts, Shredded Wheat, or Raisin Bran. Will they accept that for the Honey Bunches of Oats?

    • Patricia

BIRMINGHAM READERS: Coupons in today’s Bham news in the Bruno’s ad. There are coupons for free sliced cheese, paper towels, and can of vegetables with $30 purchase. Their coupon price limit is less than the price at Publix, but my Publix (Hwy 31) accepted them for the price limit, giving me *almost* free items :)

      • Meredith

Bummer-Lee Branch want accept FREE coupons from competitors

    • Lana

The Dole fruit bowls that I bought this AM had a $1/2 coupon on the inside of the package. Look for packages the have a red band along the inside edge saying Look Inside For Special Offers.

      • sarah

Mine were only $1.00 off of 4 packages.

I cannot get the Dole Rebate site to work. Any hints anyone?

    • karen

For the SOFTSCRUB COUPON to print I turned off my popup blocker!!! Good Luck

      • dawn

thanks Karen! I have been trying to print the Soft Soap coupons since last night. I am using XP. I went in to turn off my pop up blockers and it was already off. But I turned it on and off again and amazing! They printed! Go figure but thanks a lot for the tip!

    • CCW

if it says ‘store coupon’ where do i get that from? also what does RP mean in this: -$1 off Dove Chocolate Candy RP 11/15

      • Katherine

A store coupon means that the coupon has been put out by a store, and not by a manufacturer. There are different ways to get store coupons. Jenny links to Food Lion, Target, Harvey’s and other stores that put out their own coupons. Publix has store coupons in their Yellow and Green Advantage Buy flyers often.

The advantage of a store coupon is that it can be “stacked’ with a manufacturer’s coupon to get even more money off a particular item. For example, I used a Food Lion coupon for Hunt’s tomatoes AND a manufacturer’s Q for tomatoes to get the tomatoes for extra cheap.

RP refers to Red Plum, SS refers to Smart Source, and P&G to the Proctor & Gamble Brand Saver flyer. All of these come out in the Sunday paper, but not every Sunday. Also, different papers have different coupons. My Post & Courier (Charleston) does not get as many coupons in the flyers as the Charlotte Observer, for example.

        Hope this helps.

        • CCW

thanks! is there any way to get sunday inserts online? or i have to get the sunday paper for that?

          • Katherine

You have to buy the Sunday paper. Actually, on the weeks that there are a lot of flyers in the paper, it’s a good idea to buy more than 1 paper so you have at least double the coupons. Depending on where you live, the Dollar Tree might sell the Sunday paper for $1.

            • jennifer

              Hi neighbor-
Is there a dollar tree that you have found in Chas that sells the paper for $1?

            • Katherine

              Hey Jennifer,

I have not, but I haven’t looked either. The closest Dollar Tree to me is on JI. I have heard some people on here say that Charleston Dollar Tree stores do not sell the Sunday paper, but I haven’t actually checked for myself. On the occasions that I’ve gotten it, I’ve been lazy and just gone to the Pig right by my house. :)

            • Leslie

The Walgreens in Greer sells the Sunday paper for .88 and Wal-Mart for .98

      • Debbie

Taking the free tutorials have helped me out tremendously. I am excited about my uncoming workshop.

    • Hailey

Be aware that if you purchase the Pillsbury breads and use the .50/1 coupons that your Publix may not double because the coupon states “DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE.” The Kennerly Crossing store in Irmo, SC will actually suppress the coupon so that it won’t double. It happened to me today so I’ll be taking those coupons to Bilo.

      • Jenny

Try the store on Hwy 6 south of Ballentine. They are wonderful and don’t suppress doubles.

      • Ashley

I did this deal today. I took my $0.50/1 Sweet Rolls coupon to Bilo since they are the same price (maybe 1 cent difference) there also. I do self checkout to make sure it doubles. Worked for me and I got my Cinnamon Rolls for $0.66! Woohoo!

    • Chrissy

No, it wouldn’t show $7.50. I bought Bertolli today -it’s $2.79 in my store- on the receipt it shows as: $1.40 for the first one and $1.39 for the second one.

      • Chrissy

oops, that was in reply to Carolin. I did ok today, but forgot my list so that threw me off a little and then I grabbed some chips, coke, and Snapple w/out Q’s and not planned. So spent $36.94 – “saved” $58.04.

    • alicia

Jenny thanks for all you do. I am so sad because I will be relocating to Indiana in 3 weeks from Summerville, SC. No Publix up there, so I am stocking up on non-perishables like a mad woman. I am looking forward to a new city and learning the coupon policies there. Hopefully the cashiers will be friendly like they always are at the Publix on Central here.

      • Angela, in Summerville, SC

You’ll miss Publix, but you’ll LOVE Kroger!

    • Jen

Which zipcode should I use for the Starbucks coupon?

    • Sarah

Kudos to Publix customer service! I received a gift card in the mail today as a comp for a problem that an assistant manager gave me about a coupon. All that I did was e-mail corporate, nicely, and ask for a copy of their official coupon policy so I could have it in hand for my next shopping trip. Instead of a return e-mail, I got a phone call from the manager, a promise to accept my coupons, and a gift card. Way to go! They just kept my business!

      • Sam

That’s great! Publix does seem to care about keeping their customers’ business. It’s interesting to observe the varying ways different companies handle this kind of situation. Publix’s customer service (online and in-store) is generally accomodating and communicates well about any problems. When I had a similar incident to yours, CVS sent an apology, an email clarification of policy, and a 5.00 ECB. When it happened at Winn Dixie, I got a tersely worded partial clarification of policy, with no assurance that coupon policy would be clarified for staff, and no word of apology.

        • Cindy from GA

I had problems with Walmart when I tried to use my “Free Trial Size” “Downy Wrinkle Reducer”. They wouldn’t take it because it was black and white. I had the cashier and 2 managers tell me NO. I went home got the Walmart policy printed out and went back. Went to the one manager and nicely reminded her about my last visit and showed her the Walmart policy and she told me, “well, that’s what they tell us here”. I then asked her if our Walmart had different policies than corporate. She then decided she would go to her manager. After a long wait she came back and said they would take them. Enter the other manager from last time and she said, “you know we can’t take these” and the first manager said, “we have a situation”. Okay so I’m a situation…that’s ok I got my 4 free bottles of Downy!

    • Amy

Are there FLIPs match ups this week? I always forget where to find these on the site?

    • Deal Alert: (at least I think it’s a great deal)!

Huggies wipes (64ct.) are $2.99 at Publix this week.

Get them for $.75 by using:

$1.50/1 Huggies Wipes Store coupon from the Kimberly-Clark/Unilever “Little Book of Big Buys” booklet found now in Publix stores.

AND, stack it with the $.75/1 Huggies wipes coupon from Coupons.com
      http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/index.aspx?pid=13903&nid=10&zid=xh20&cid=0&bid=1018300001

      Wipe away!

      • Lindsay

Thank you…I need to pick some of these up!

      • Sue

Where in the store have people found these booklets?

        • I ask Customer Service for them. They used to keep booklets out in the aisles at my Publix, but the hoarders took them all. At least now we all have a chance at getting at least 1 or 2! Good luck!

      • deedee

AND stack them with Baby club Huggies wipe coupons for them to be FREE or have overage!! I got 2 today for FREE!!

    • Vanessa

Has anyone in Columbia, SC found the trial sized J&J first aid kits?

      • Kim

Go to the travel size section of your pharmacy area. They are there.

        • Vanessa

Any specific store? No luck at Harbison or Gervais…

    • kim

I was able to use the Dollar General $1 off Johnson & Johnson Baby products coupon on the Buddies Soap bars, $1.09 at Publix. They are manufactures coupons.

      • Cherise

So where or what paper did you find the coupons in??

        • sara

Inside DG stores next to their ad papers they have coupon flyers. the entire first page is manuf coupons. i have grabbed several over the last week. the stores near me have HUGE stacks of them. Over the last 4 days I have used them at walmarts and target and DG for FREE packs of Carefree panty liners ($1 at most stores). Coupon is for $1 off any Carefree product. I have gotten probably 30 packs this week and just paid tax. Also, there is a $1 off any Johnson & Johnson baby product. I have used this for the J&J buddy bath bars (.97) at target and walmart. I have gotten about 30 of those as well. $1 off band aid coupon has worked for the travel size at target. THe boxes of 20 at DG are $2 ($1 with coupon)!! Have fun!!

          They expire January 30.

    • Sam

Phazyme 12 ct. was marked down to 2.99 at my So. FL stores, improving this deal even more. Also, the Organic Gardening mag. that I got for free after purchasing some organic cereal has a $2/2 Organic Valley, which is good, since the website won’t let my computer get any more milk Qs.

    • Elizabeth

This was my first trip to Publix and I was completely amazed when I got my total… Thank you soooo much for all you do!!! My boyfriend would refuse to go in the stores with me while I was carrying my “coupon notebook” because he was sooo embarassed, but now, after getting the deals at CVS on Pepsi, and my Publix trip today, he is now printing coupons off at work for me on things he likes. I can’t tell you enough how much you have helped my family!!!

Quick question – will Publix honor Food Lion or BiLo BOGOs? because FL has Gorton’s fish BOGO, but I have a Publix coupon for $1 off, then Bi-Lo has Manwich 4/$5 but I have another Publix coupon for that… i’m a newbie… any ideas?

      • deedee

It all depends on what other stores are in your area and who they consider competitors. Publix does accept any grocery store coupons that are local, not just a grocery coupon from somewhere in the world tho. :) I have Winn Dixie and Albertson’s as competitors and Publix willingly accepts them both. Some of my local stores also accept Target.

      • Vanessa

My store will not price match…if that is what you are talking about. Not sure if others will.

    • Carolin

Does anyone know what size the Pam Spray for $2 from last weeks sale was? I’m in desperate need of some, but when I went to the store all I could find was larger cans for almost $4. I have the FLIP and 2 advantage coupons so I’m sure it’s still a good deal. Thanks

    • Tina

I live in the Atlanta area and could not find any of the Arnold bread coupons. Did anyone else? Thanks.

      • Kim

I’m in ATL as well and I could not find the coupon either. Bummer!

    • angela

I cannot figure out the stayfree’s deal…. anyone know how that comes out..I have it totaling $2 or $1 each, which is still a deal..but just wondering how it would come out lower? thanks

    • Logan

I was shopping at Publix in Marietta, Ga (S.Cobb/Pat Mell Rd) tonight and they informed me that they will not accept Target coupons any longer. Also, they are not allowing any overages when you make $$$ on the product. Is this just at this location???

      • Andrew

From my own limited knowledge, most stores will not give you cash back on overages but the overages take effect if you were to buy a bunch of stuff. For instance last week there was BOGO light bulbs at 1.99 with 2 1.50 coupons and two .50 coupons from DG, leaving me 2 over. I would not have been able to walk away with 2 dollars had this been my only purchase but since I got all my stuff in one big trip, the two dollars credit went towards the grocery bill. I got $66 worth of groceries for $27. Thanks Southern Savers!

PS I was able to use the tag from my free 5 lb bag of grapefruits and the receipt to collect on the free grapefruit spoons

      • Lindsay

Thanks for the info Logan, I also shop at this store. To my knowledge the store in Vinings and also further down the road on South Cobb don’t accept target and aren’t supposed to give overages…sometimes they miss it on a doubled coupon though. If I have a trip to make with noticeable overage, I usually go to the Publix on Macland and Powder Springs because they are VERY coupon friendly. I used to use Walgreens RRs there with no problem, but I don’t know if they’re still accepting those. HTH!

      • Linda in Atlanta

The stores I’ve been to in the last 2 weeks have all adjusted for overages. (Actually, 2 of them initially refused my second coupons, saying they couldn’t use them since they would result in overages. I kindly explained that other stores would adjust the amount of the second coupon to make the item free. A manager was called on both occasions, I explained again and both times the manager made the adjustments.) Although I’m a bit jealous of those of you who get overages, I’m tickled pink about FREE!!

      • Roz

The Publix at Bells Ferry/Hawkins Store Rd, Are super Coupon friendly and take Target coupons but no Drugstores (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens etc) They never give me issues with overages!
I know its a bit more of a hike for you but you could call around to others in your area and ask!

        • Linda in Atlanta

Great idea, Roz, thanks! I actually drive all around metro Atlanta for my job – think I’ll print me a map, mark the “friendly” stores, keep my list and coupons in the car and pop in when I get to a good one!

    • peggy

At my Publix today, they had All detergent B1G1!!! The small and mighty’s were “25%” larger and $5.99 each. I had a $3/2q from a few weeks ago(I think), plus there was a Q in the add for B1 All get 1 Clorox free. So….I paid $2.99 for 2 bottles of All and 1 Clorox!!!

      • susan

they had that sign on the small all at my publix too. but when i read the fine print, it was buy 1 get 1 clorox bleach free. not bogo on the all. same sign on the clorox detergent.

        • Peggy

The more I’ve thought about it, the more I wonder if the wrong signs got put up. Every All detergent had the same B1G1 sign in front of it. And there wasn’t any “fine print”…kind of a plain sign really…???

      • Sue

        What state are you in?

    • tryingcoupons

Just and FYI – made my trip to Publix today in Moore,SC and the Sudafed was $8.99, not $5.99.

    • deedee

Went to Publix tonight for a few freebies and spent $1.02 and saved $35. I bought milk, bread, bananas, and 2 Colgate toothpaste because i had so much overage! I bought 4 of the Bayer aspirin at 2.67, 2 Midol that had a $2 peelie on them and 3 free packs of DenTek picks. I LOVE COUPONING!! and I LOVE Southern Savers!

    • Marsha

I did the Publix $10 giftcard Unilever/KC deal this morning. Just a warning…I bought Pullups and Bertolli Pasta Sauce. I had figured it out based on the Bertolli being $1.87 each and when I looked at my receipt the Bertolli rand up $1.34 each. I just did make the $30 required to spend by a few pennies!! Which this is good news, but since it has to be done in one transaction check the prices at the store.

    • Sara

Publix in Greer, SC will not accept Food Lion coupons. Does anyone know of any other coupons they will not accept?

      • I don’t know the answer to your question (sorry) but would like to know of ANY Publix in the Upstate/Greenville SC area that accepts Target, Rite Aid, or CVS competitor coupons. My Simpsonville Publix (Fairview Rd) accepts Bilo, Ingles, and Bloom. Just wondering if any others accept the drug stores and Target mainly so I can shop them when I have one of those coupons. Thanks!

      • Leslie

I would like to know this also; I am planning a trip today and was going to ask. I shop at either the one in Greer behind Pelham or the one in Taylors on Wade Hampton.

        • Vicki :)

As far as I know, none of the ones in the Upstate accept coupons from non-grocery stores, or stores that are not close to them. I go to the one on the Parkway and Five Forks mostly and they will take Bi-Lo, Bloom, Whole Foods, and Earthfare that I know of.
You might try the Publix in Duncan/Lyman area since there is a Food Lion out that way.

    • Victoria

Ritz crackers in Marietta, GA were 1.54 a box, so it was 54 cents after the coupon. I bought ten boxes so I could get the rebate.

      • deedee

I need to now what all is in the rebate. I clicked on the link for the complete list, but it was not available. I bought 2 Ritz bits and 2 teddy grahams last week, do they count??? 4 Planters peanuts this week, so I just need 2 more I think. If my stuff from last week counts… Anyone know??

        • Anne Marie

It is all Nabisco crackers 7-16 oz. So those would definitely work.

          • Anne Marie

And the nuts need to be 9.5-21.5 oz size.

        • Tammy

I couldn’t get the list either, but the rebate reads “…participating Nabisco crackers (7-16.5 oz) Easy cheese and participating Planters nuts (9.25-21.25 oz)” …”register receipts dated between 12/1/09 and 1/31/10″. I think this should work.

    • deedee

i did the Kimberly clark/unilever rebate and bought 2 boxes of diapers and 1 wipes. I spent only $11 plus tax for it all with the baby club coupons, sale ad coupons, manufacturer coupons and then I get a $10 rebate!!! WOO HOO!! 2 boxes of diapers and wipes for $1.

      • I did the same thing as you, except I didn’t have those extra manufacturer coupons as I didn’t plan it out well but just ran to the store with my Baby Club coupons while Publix had the in-ad coupon and $10 Rebate. So, I think I got 2 huge boxes of diapers plus wipes for around $5. Still… Woohoo!

For any of you who aren’t signed up for the baby club… do it! They send you high value coupons and a few freebies as well (cocoa butter, rice cereal, isopropyl alcohol, etc etc)!

        • Sarah

Ashley, where are the in-ad coupons you were talking about? Thanks!

        • DeeDee

Last weeks sale ad had an in-ad $3 Huggies coupon.

    • Marylee

I just came from the Lexington Publix and I could not find any Aleve on sale…
      ?

      • Anne Marie

The $3.55 on Aleve 24 ct. was regular price at my Publix, but I found some today for $1.97.

        • Marylee

          At which Publix?

    • Amanda

I noticed in Florida….we do not have the Fresh Express on sale – for us it is the DOLE salad mixes! Just wanted to tell you all before you head out with coupons. I believe there were some printables a few weeks back that might still be good to use.

      • deedee

Going tomorrow and I have the dole coupon! I’ll look.

    • Amy

Hi Everyone, I live in the Nashville, TN area and while checking out today at Publix (on Concord Rd.) my cashier informed me that they would soon no longer accept Target coupons. He also told me that Food Lion is closing and when that happened they’d no longer accept those. If this is true I am bummed! Just curious if any of you can confirm or deny this.

      • Rachel

Not all Food Lions are closing in the Nashville area. In fact, only 4 stores are closing. I do know that the Food Lion in Smyrna is to remain open, so I hope my Publix will still take their coupons. I also haven’t had any problems with the Smyrna Publix taking the Target coupons. I hope this isn’t the case with all the Nashville area stores.

    • What is publix policy on taking coupons that have been expired for a day or two? Just getting started and this week lists coupons that expired yesterday.

      • Angel in Charleston

My Publix refused a coupon that had expired 2-3 days prior. Some cashiers will accept them, others won’t. Don’t know what the official corporate policy is.

      • my store mails out coupons for reimbursement on Saturday, so they will take coupons that expired from Sunday to Saturday the week before because it will get mixed in with all the coupons from that week. If a coupon expires on Friday and you try to use it Sunday they will not take it because that week’s batch was sent in so it will go in the batch for the next Saturday and the expiration date will stand out.

At CVS they just scan it, and if the cash register takes it then they will. At Kroger it’s the same – they can’t tell you up front if it will go through or not but sometimes they do. I always ask them to try if it’s only been a couple of days since it expired.

      • Elizabeth

As a Publix cashier, I can tell you that in my store, we can get written up for accepting expired coupons. As it turns out, there is no “corporate policy” so to speak. I had an issue come up at the store I shop at (different than the one where I work) and called the District Manager. According to him, each store manager has the final say as to what a store will and will not accept. Trust me, I’ve fought for months to get a coupon policy posted in the store. Speak with the Store Manager for your store’s policy, or find out the District Manger’s phone number and suggest that the stores in his district start posting their policy for customers and cashiers.

    • Jessica

      Hey Jenny,

Thanks so much for all you do! I have been doing this for several months now and you have helped me save hundreds on my grocery bill each week! I have just started blogging and I wanted to see if I could put a link to your home page on my site. Again, thanks for all you do. God bless!

    • I was at my Publix yestserday in Jacksonville Florida doing my shopping. When I checked out I was unable to use all my coupons. Apparently Publix has software that doesn’t allow you to use more coupons than the number of products purchased. Because of this I was unable to use my Green Advantage Flyer coupons with my regular coupons. Has anyone else had this issue?

All the coupons would have been taken if I would have bought more grocery items that didn’t require coupons.

      • Charlotte-
When that happens, ask the cashier to have a manager come over. If there are more coupons than products Publix WILL accept them but a manager has to put them in manually. That is their policy. It has happened to me before and when I requested the manager to come over, she immediately put in the rest of my coupons-no problems! I am in FL too. Take your coupons to the service desk TODAY and see if they give you cash for your coupons. They have a policy that if you bring your coupons within 24 hours they will give you cash for the coupons. Good luck!

        • This has happened to me a few times. The cashier always calls over a manager when the register tells them “too many coupons” and the manager pushes them through.

I didn’t know about Publix coupon policy (bring them in within 24 hours). Every now and then I forget to hand over a coupon and realize it when I get home. Now I know I can take it back. Thanks for the heads up! I did find out that Target does the same thing… if you bring in your coupon and receipt the same day they will do a “missed coupon” transaction and give you cash for the coupon amount.

      • Carolin

I live in Jacksonville, FL too and have had this problem before too. The manager needs to come over to do an override. I like in Riverside and EVERY SINGLE TIME that I’ve gone to the one on Roosevelt they won’t do the override. I’ve even explained and showed them why I used more coupons that I have items and still they won’t do the override. So I’ve stopped shopping at that location. Good Luck

      • brandy

I prefer to fly under the radar and I always make sure I never have more coupons than items. I suggest using the hot peppers as fillers – they cost CENTS each. Also a banana here, an orange there, etc. Just get individual produce items as fillers and you’ll be fine! Today I got 8 phazyme & 10 bayers. So I needed 9 filler items to make it equal. I didn’t have Qs for Aunt Jemima mix, so that was 2, bread another 2. I had 4 Qs for my 8 packs of dole, so that was 4 more. And I just needed one itty bitty pepper!

    • Rebecca

Is $3.49 with the $1 off coupon a good stock up price for lean ground beef? The coupon says “limit one per purchase.” Does that mean I have to have a separate coupon for each package of meat.

      • Elizabeth

The coupon is $1 off of 2 pounds of ground beef. Not a great deal but still pretty good. You have to have a seperate coupon for each deal you want to get. For example, if you were getting 6 pounds of ground beef, you’d need 3 coupons in order to get the deal.

    • Cathie

I just got a Flip, Clip and Save coupon booklet in the mail for Target. (I live in FL)

      $1 off Bounty PT
      $1 off Charmin
      $1 off Iams

    • Thuy

Spent $6.32 on 2 bottles of Soft Scrub, 2 boxes of Midol, 2 boxes of Contac Cold & Flu, 1 box of Triple Action Sudafed, and 1 bottle of Johnson & Johnson shampoo!

Contac at my store was only $3.99 per box, so it was free after coupons!

    • Roz

Can you Stack a Rite Aid $5/25 with a Publix $2/20?

Just found out a Publix accross town takes the Rite Aid coupons so was going to go there but wanted to find out if I could do that first!

      Thanks!!

      • Meredith

Yes if they take Rite Aid Q’s

      • SM

My Rite-Aid accepts Rite-Aid coupons but not $/$$ like $5/25 so I would make sure they take it first.

        • SM

          sorry.. my Publix

    • Michelle

I couldn’t find the daisy sour cream coupon? Did anyone in Greenville SC have it in their SS 12/13?

    • weslie

      Free Toothpaste with $0.25 overage!!!

If your store accepts Walgreen’s coupons…

Aquafresh Advanced, White & Shine, and Extreme Clean 5.6-6oz are on Advantage Buy right now 2 for $5 or $2.50 each.

Use $0.75/1 MQ 1/3 RP and $2/1 Walgreens Q in this week’s ad

      • Carolin

Great minds think alike. I was getting my list together last night and remembered about the Wags coupon, but wasn’t sure if there was a manuf coupon. Thanks!

    • Thanks Jenny !

Like many others, I have kind of had it with printables IP’s. Half the time they don’t print no matter what I do ! The other day, while using a printable, the cashier conficated it “for law enforcement” because there has been a rash in our area of counterfeit IP coupons. Why can’t people just be honest ? I ruins it for everyone else when they try to cheat the system !

    • Amber

I don’t know if they are still out there but about 2 weeks ago I got a peelie off a pack of Johnsonville sausages (on sale now) for $1 off eggs when you buy 2 JV sausages. Doesn’t specify a brand of eggs, so I guess it would work on the Egglands.

      • deedee

I got the same coupon/peelie but hadn’t connected it to the Eggland’s eggs sale! Thanks!

        • deedee

I went today and bought the 2 Johnsonville sausages. USed the $1 off eggs (they were BOGO) AND the sausages had coupons attached that had a FREE buns when you buy 2 meat. Pretty good deal, I’d say! Paid 4.69 for Pepperidge Farms buns, 2 packs of J. sausages and 2 dozen eggs.

    • Karen

Anyone have the zip for $1/2 printable for the Pillsbury Crescent rolls? I am only finding the $1/2 sweet rolls.

    • melissa

      Karen,
Go to Pilsbury.com and sign up for an account if you do not already have one and you can print the $1/2 there!

      • Karen

        Thank you Melissa!

    • Jessica

Did anyone else not get the B1G1 coupon in e-mail on the soft scrub?

      • deedee

They send you a confirmation email, when you click on the confirm button it takes you to their website. Then you have to click on the link for special deals for members (or something like that). Then you get to the BOGO coupon.

        • Jessica

hmmm…never got an e-mail, just tried it again with another name and e-mail addy, will see what happens. TY

        • sherry

I got the confirmation email…clicked..was redirected to their websire no BOGO. Clicked on special prpoms at top right. No BOGO. Did have 3 others to print x2

    • Sandy

Hillshirefarm lunch meat coupon buy 2 /$1.00 off. The only problem was waiting on them to send the email so I could activate my account.

    • Heidi

Has anybody used the WW Smart ones coupons? What do you think the best way to work this sale with the coupons would be?

      I was thinking
Buy 10 at $2.00 each, use $3/10 to make them $1.70 each.
      then use (3)B3G1 free flatbread

      Can I do this?

    • Jerelle

Has anyone been able to find the Fresh Express Salad coupon? My Publix doesnt have a store dispenser near the salad. Can I find it somewhere else?

    • Sarah

Great day at Publix! $337 worth for $105!!! First time I have ever seen a checker draw a smiley face on my receipt. She said I had saved the most she had ever seen in that store. Yeah!!! Thanks for all your help Jenny! I couldn’t have done it without your site.

    • lindsey

Today in publix there was a peelie on the MorningStar Farms Chik’n Grillers for “$1 dollar off now.” If you use the MorningStar coupon and the instant one you can get them for free. The cashier had no problem using both of them.
Also I spent 9.85 and saved 40.63. woohoo! Thanks for everything you do!

    • terri

Today was my best “couponing” trip so far! I’ve only been at it for about 5 or 6 weeks. Spent$22.44 and total savings $141.62! Thank you Jenny!!!

    • I just went to a Publix in Greenville, SC and was told they no longer accepted Target coupons. They also did not have the in store dispenser for the Fresh Express Coupon Blend. Thanks for all the other savings I received from several stores.

    • SM

Good trip for me today spent $54.67 save $67.67. Plus I should be able to get the Johnson rebate. Doesn’t really matter since they had the best price on Aveeno Baby products the only thing I have found that I can use on my son. Thanks Jenny.

    • We live in the area served by the Atlanta Journal & Constitution, recieving the Publix food ads on Thursday. Why aren’t we getting the Publix Mystery Coupon? Very disappointing.

      • lindsey

I also receive the AJC and wonder why we don’t get that coupon. I will ask when I go to Publix and let you know what their answer is.

    • Jill

Can someone tell me what page in parenting the coupon is for earth’s best baby food. I am currently looking through it and cannot find it? Thanks,

      • Debbie

It’s on p. 134 in the Feb issue

        • Jill

my parenting feb on goes up to page 104,,,,is is parents?

          • Debbie

Yep. Sorry. It’s Parents, not Parenting that I have…hope you find it!

    • Amber

Does anyone know if sending in those Laura David grocery surveys really result in being sent any coupons? I got one in the mail today, but I am a little leary.

      • kim

I have done this survey in the past and gotten 3-4 coupons several months later.

    • 2nd week shopping @ Publix with the help of coupons & this site…$226.50 total bill, paid $74.60, saved $151.90…I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! Thank you Jenny :)

    • Bonnie

Thank you for your amazing site, Jenny; I have saved so much money and amazed so many cashiers! I will be moving to New Hampshire soon and am wondering if anyone knows of a similar site for Shaw’s and Hannaford Supermarkets. I think Shaw’s and Stop and Shop are the same company. Thanks again.

    • Linda

      Jenny,
First and foremost thanks for all you do. You have saved us over a thousand $$ in the last 9 months. I have a question about doubling coupons. I recently got a cashier at Publix that “suppressed” the coupons that said “do not double” and I was wondering why the manufacturer chooses to print that on their coupon. Is it to help the stores out? It’s a little frusterating when you think your going to get a great deal, so you buy more than you would normally, and they suppress the coupon. It also makes me feel that they are cheating a little by advertising that they double all manufacterer’s coupons under .50, and then not doing it. This was what I nicely suggested to the manager at my Publix, and he said he understood, but didn’t offer to correct my bill. What are your thoughts on this?

    • Heidi

Great savings at Publix this morning…saved $121 and over $50 of that was coupons! Anyway, there were a few instore specials I wanted to share.
      BOGO 12 ct PopTarts
      10 for $10 Lunchables

Also, there were some packages of Nutrigrain Bars with $5 coupons booklets in them. Apparently there are 3 different booklets, I got 2 of them.
Pack 1 of 3 had the following coupons
$1/2 Apple Jacks, Corn Pops or Froot Loops
$1/1 milk(any brand flovor or size) wyb 1 Kellog”s cereal
      $1/3 8 ct Pop tarts
$1/1 Dannon Dan Active 4 pk or 8 pk
$1/2 Frosted Flakes, Honey Smacks or Cocoa Krispies

      Pack 2 of 3 has
$1/2 Frosted Mini Wheats, Crispix, Rice Crispies or Corn Flakes
$1 off fresh fruit wyb 1 Kellog’s cereal
$1/2 Raison Bran Extra, Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites or Corn Flakes Touch of Honey
      $1/2 12 ct Pop Tarts
$1/1 Minute maid Orange Juice 64 oz

    • Thank you so, so much for your work. I have been out of the couponing and meal planning loop for awhile, and this helps SO MUCH.

      Thanks again!

      Jessie

    • Cheri

I can’t get the rebate form to come up for the dole fruit. I can click on the games, etc and they do fine but nothing happens when I click on the “printer” to print. Any suggestions?

      • Shay957

Make sure its not being block as a popup.

    • Shannon

I love this site and I love Publix. This is my second week shopping at Publix and using coupons. Last week I spent $44 and saved $103. This week I spent $155 but saved $199. Woo Hoo! I am so excited!

    • deedee

    • Michelle

I went to publix to do the Dole deal….got eight of them, two midol, two popcorn and 1 Frank’s red hot. I paid $5.11 after coupons. Sweet. But what is ever sweeter, is when I got home, I went to Dole to print our my rebate…and while there, I played the tree game and I WON 10 FREE PACKS OF DOLE FRUIT!! Whoo hoo. Now that is SWEET….so with my rebate and the win, I should have 14 free packs. My daughter is one and this is so awesome for her!!

      • libby

What was the game called? That is awesome…

        • Michelle

I believe it is called the Dole Tip Tree Game. I followed the link Jenny provided for the rebate and found the game from there…you can’t miss it. I believe it is 100 first prize winners and 100 second prize winners a day….so try every day!

      • Shay957

Congrats, I just got a bunch of tips to stay healthy. My son is also 1 and love the fruit cups. I am happy just to get the rebate of 4 free pks.

        • Michelle

Go back and play ever day! I hope you win….

    • Shay957

My Publix said Food Lion is closing, so they aren’t going to take any of their coupons anymore! Just an FYI for my fellow couponers in Nashville.

    • ashley

I love this web site, but i keep running into one problem..the coupons listed under the sale items are not always exactly for the specific item on sale and the store wont accept them, for example the
Stouffers Easy Express Skillet Meals are on sale but the coupon is for the Easy Expresss meals.. not skillet..is my Publix store just too picky ..had the same problem with bi-Lo on the suave shampoo when i tried to use the mens suave shampoo Q as shown..

    • Ashley

I love using Southern Savers! It has helped me so much and I have friends and family coming to me on advice on how to use it and save money on groceries. My one frustration is that there are many times when it says there is a coupon in a certain coupon booklet but I can never find it. For instance there was supposedly a $1 coupon on nabisco crackers in today’s SS but I didn’t find that coupon anywhere?? Any idea why this is??? Thanks!

      • DeeDee

Some coupons are regional. SOme are found in one paper and not in the city next to you’s paper..l.

    • Anyone know what page the coupon is on for the Earth’s Best baby food in Parenting? I can’t find it?
      TIA

      • c

        p 134 in Parent*s* not Parenting.

    • Tina

Yesterday (1/23), 2 publix in my area said they are accepting any cvs or wags Q. Kind of a sudden. The other store that accept the 5/20 did the have the benvia I wanted. So sad. Any one else has this porblem. I am in Central Florida by the way. Should I call the corporate to check?

      Thanks

    • I don’t know if anyone else has this yet. (I didn’t take time to read all the comments but I got the Publix Family and Fun magazine yesterday and there is a coupon for Buy one Quaker INstant Oatmeal Get a Free bottle of Naked Juice.

      • Stephanie B.

I just finished drinking my free bottle of Naked Juice! It was yummy! The new Publix magazine came at the perfect time for that sale.

    • Rose

Can you use both coupons(Green advantage and printable)for the Sundown naturals?

      • Michelle

You should be able to. However, some cashiers may adjust it to avoid overage. They don’t do that at my store but some people have mentioned it here.

    • Leslie

I have a question. I am new to all of this. I live in B’ham, AL. Here are the coupons I can’t find…..am I doing something wrong? Did anyone else have trouble finding these coupons in AL?
      Smart Ones 1/17 SS
      Ritz Crackers 1/24 SS
Pillsbury Cake Mix RP 1/24 RP
      Johnsonville Brats 1/17 SS
      Kraft Cheese 1/24

      • Stephanie B.

Jenny does list the regional variations for coupon inserts. Click on “weekly inserts” on the black bar at the top of the page, then click on “regional coupons.” Scroll down until you see the date of the inserts in question, then click on it. From there you can pull up a list of all the coupons that were in the Birmingham news for any particular week.

        Hope that helps!
        Stephanie

    • Lindsey

      Jenni-

In the Publix ad Air Wick refills are on sale 2 for 9.00 and there is also $1/2 or a twin refill pack coupon and a coupon that gets you a FREE warmer unit when you purchase a refill!

Do you have this in your area? I’m a big Air Wick plug in user so whenever I can get them cheaper its great.

    • amanda

    • Jessica P

Need an “after-shopping treat”? I just noticed a free coffee offer on my Starbucks bag (that I bought on sale & w/ coupon at Publix this week). You can take your empty bag into participating stores and get a tall (12 oz) brewed coffee.
BTW – love your site! I’m pretty new to this, but have already saved so much money in just a couple of weeks. Its pretty exciting knowing that I can save this much each week.

    • Momof2 (Greer,SC)

Why does is -$1/3 Hunts Tomatoes printable listed as a manuf coupon but when I click on it, it shows as a FL coupon?

    • Mandy

Just a little tip on the Smart Ones. Yesterday I went to buy some and found that some of the boxes had a peel off coupon for $4 off when you buy 10. So I got 10 for $16! That’s 2 weeks of lunch for $16… I was pretty excited!

    • Karen Evanoff

Just started on this. Fun and saving money!! Having a hard time finding the coupons. Jolly Time popcorn says the coupon is in SS 1/10. Sorry, can’t find it, just not there. Good thing I have the WW coupons. Its time consuming for me to have to search and print all these coupons, but if it saves me money in the long run, I guess it’ll be worth it!!
      Thanks Jenny,
      Karen in GA

    • Shannon

Im a new follower from Orlando, FL and we kinda get the short end of the stick over here! I just wanted to give a heads up to others in the area.. Albertsons always puts buy one get two free meat coupons on the front page of their ads that come in the Wednesday paper. This week they had a coupon for the london broil. I spent $8 for three huge pieces of meat because the $2.99 price is half the price it normally is. :)

    • Leah

I am new to couponing. Can you use Target coupons at Publix?

      • Leslie

I think it depends on where you live. I did just yesterday in Alabama.

    • Jennifer

Often when I see SS with a specific date I look in the flier for that date and I don’t find the coupon. This happens more often than not. Do different states have different coupons?

      • Sue

        There are regional variations.

    • Heather

I have been unable to find the: Johnson & Johnson First Aid Kit Trail Size $1.49

Where in the store do you find them??

      Help!!

      • Kim

It’s in the section of the pharmacy area where they carry travel sized items. 4 Publix in my area are sold out of them, and I live outside to Atlanta.

    • Sue

Went to Publix today and saved 64.47 on 89.63 order. Stayfree Maxi Large Pack (48 super) was on sale for 3.99, use $1 off MQ. Bought 6 boxes of Ritz to complete rebate. Unfortunately, I accidentally picked up a SMALLER box that was not on sale, otherwise my total would have been 1.54 less and my savings 1.85 more. They were sitting on the same endcap and I picked them up 2 at a time from the side and did not notice. I had a pleasant surprise though. When I first got there I went to CS desk to ask for green advantage flyer but they were out. Howevere, I was told that I could just tell my clerk to take it off as store coupons, which I did. Nabisco Rebate: Spent 8.64, will get 10.00. If not for me picking up the wrong box, I would only have spent 7.10.

    • Beth

What is the Little Book of Big Savings and where do you get it at? I am looking for the coupon for huggies wipes! My twins are breaking the bank!!!
      Thanks,
      Beth

    • Emily

Anyone know if fresh Express salad blends will be on sale again with the new ad?

    • Gabi

For all who bought the free Jolly Time Popcorn: You can get a free reusable grocery bag by mailing 3 UPS codes (from the box, not the individual bags) to Jolly Time Popcorn, Reusable Bag, PO Box 178, Sioux City, IA 51102. Include your name and address!

    • deedee

I went tonight to use some of my last green advantage coupons. I saved over $45 (can’t remember the exact #) and spent 34 cents!!!! The key here is not saving $45+ but the fact that I got organic milk, organic yogurt, & 2 Dole fruit cups plus the other stuff for 34 cents!!
Thank you Jenny for all that you do!

    • I can not open and print the rebate form for dole
      Any suggestions?
