    • Tina M

Thanks for all you do, Jenny!

      • Amanda

        yes thank you Jenny!!!

      • Ashley

The penny item is coffee :( for me

        • Angela Causey

If you don’t drink coffee, its a good item to pick up anyway. Homeless shelters serve TONS of coffee, especially during the winter months, and its a good item to donate. Just a thought! :)

          • Melissa Forward

We used to always pick up the penny item if it was non-perishable to donate. We donated the publix coffee at Christmas time. I hate that they changed the coupon and the day. Shopping during the week is not convenient for me :(

            • Leslie

Me either. I just can’t go on Wednesdays at all, so I hate to miss the penny items, but I guess there’s not much I can do. I tried it one week, but I was in the store at 9 at night trying to do it all, and I have to get up every morning at 5:30. Just didn’t work for me.

            • Michele

Can someone please tell me where I can find the penny Q? I’ve been looking for about a month and I still can’t find it.

      • Deb

Folks-be sure to take the time to let your Publix customer service employees know how unhappy you are with the Penny Item day switch-tell them every time to hit a store! There’s strengh in numbers!

        • Maria

What bothers me most is that I have to buy a separate paper which costs more than the penny item might even be! I only buy the Sunday paper for coupons to begin with! Will definitely be happy to keep letting them know that this was not a good idea!

          • Heidi

You’re all lucky your Publix offers the penny item. Mine does not. :-(

          • Kristi

Our publix in Chattanooga doesn’t require that you have the coupon. You can still purchase the $.01 item with any $10 purchase.

    • Kim

I couldn’t get the A1 coupon to come up on the link.

      • Kim

It worked now. Thanks! My husband just said yesterday that I needed to find some A1 coupons! LOL! I will have to tell him I found them and it is BOGO!!!! Thanks Jenny!

    • Suzy

For the huggies deals I believe you could also combine the food lion coupons for an even better deal!

      • Alyson

Some Publix stores allow a competitor and a store coupon while some allow either/or but not both. In my town I actually have one of each :)

      • deedee

Not many stores will allow you to use a competitor AND a store Q. But, you can stack a Baby Club Q with the store and manufacturer. THAT makes for a great deal!

        • jennifer

why do they allow this? aren’t the baby club q’s store coupons? it is a great deal…worth a try!

          • Suzy

I just went and at my publix in Newnan, GA they accepted the Food Lion coupon and the baby steps coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon for both the wipes and the diapers.

        • Laura

Wow, I was happy just getting them for .49! No food Lion near me though.

    • JeffVL

Hungry Man – in the middle of typing saw that out of FL Publix doubles <$.50 coupons (coupon policy #5) – is that how you’re getting to $.80 w/ 1 $.50 coupon – if so – is your primary readership that you are blogging to out of FL – so that I as being in FL – need to be aware of the 2x of < $.50 coupons on Publix (so my shopping totals end up correct) – Thanx Jeff

      • Jenny

I do double the coupons in math examples. (Mostly for me I live in South Carolina). Sorry.

        • Emily

I like that you double the coupons in the math and I believe A LOT of your readers are in SC…I find them in the grocery store ALLLLL the time!! :)

          • Michelle

I ran into someone yesterday that used your site. It was so fun to run into someone else!

            • Tambry

Although Jenny does automatically double the coupons (which they do in Tennessee) Thank you Jenny, but in Florida you pay MUCH less in sales tax. You actually end up better in the long run.

          • Melissa

There are a TON of us in Alabama, too :))

            • Patty

              I’m in Alabama too :)

        • Jessica

          Helps us in GA!

          • Brooke

These deals work in GA too. I get them every week. I just double check the sale price to make sure the prices match.

          • Pamela

Yes, it is a terrific guide in Georgia. I have to alter a few Q’s but this is by far the best site for Couponers in the south. Thank you Jenny (and others) for saving me thousands…I really mean that (2009) on my grocery bill!

          • meg

Always works for me an GA- sometimes the price is lower – but thats ok by me!

          • Amber

Not all of GA, unfortunately… I am in Valdosta and our Publix doesn’t double any coupons :~(

            • Rachael

Thank you for sharing. I’ve often wondered if it was worth the drive from Tifton. I don’t think I would make a special trip (especially w/o doubles), but I do go down about once a month for Target, Kohl’s, and others. Nice to see another DEEP SOUTHern Saver!

            • Diane

Amber, I live in Savannah, GA and I know you are closer to Florida than I am, but do you maybe have another Publix you can try? Ours here double coupons (up to .50), accepts competitors coupons and cut the price of each item in half for BOGO’s. We have 3 here and I have shopped at 2 of them. The other is just too far away. The one I shop at weekly is great. I always strike up conversations with the manager as he frequently bags groceries and he is even okay with internet coupons. Once he stopped bagging my groceries, took and pen and paper out of his pocket and started asking my questions about couponing, for his wife. haha I am not sure how much she appreciated that! =+)

Anyway, just a thought that maybe another one would be different.

            • Amber

The only other Publix remotely close to me is in Thomasville and its about an hour away. I don’t know if they double or not.

        • Tiffany

So when you say OOP you do not include the sales tax, right? because I could never get my OOP to add up to what you were doing, even taking into account the FL non double coupon policy. So 7% is low? What do you all pay then?

          • Miranda

FL doesn’t have a sales tax on food. Other tax depends on what county you’re in. I’m in Leon, it’s 7.5% here. I think it’s still 6% in Brevard where my mom is.

So, yes, in FL it is much lower than other places. I have a very good friend in TN and I about fell over when I found out the tax there is 9.5% and it’s on food too!

            • Cynthia

But then no state income tax, right? So sorry for you paying that high a tax, tho!

            • Yes, no state income tax which is awesome!

            • Donna

There’s no state and there’s also no local and although the percentage is high our property tax is very low! It sounds fair for those who work under the table can’t get away without paying that percentage.

    • Yolanda

I’m having trouble printing coupons from the list links – specifically the $1.00 toaster strudel coupon. Any ideas?

I did find a different (I think) coupon on the pillsburybaking.com website for $1.00 off of 2.

    • katie

the toaster strudal link is internet explorer, so if you are using fiefox, that is why it won’t work

      • Yolanda

There are two links listed, IE and FF. I’ve tried both.

        • Carla

Me too and I can’t get it. I get the standard “Sorry you have already printed this coupon the number of times allowed”.

          • Jessica P

I’m also having trouble with the eight o’clock coffee coupon. I have never printed one of those coupons and it says I’ve reached the limit. So Frustrating!

    • Tiffany

Our Winn Dixie here in Crawfordville (Florida) had a tear pad of A1 coupons that said $1 off a beef purchase when you buy A1. This could make for a good deal if paired right with other coupons and beef sales.

    • Debbie

There is also a manuf. q for Immaculate baking refridgerated dough products in Earth Fare’s Holiday Savings- $1/2.
Thanks Jenny for all you do.

    • Maehing O

Jenny there is $1 off 2 lbs or more ground beef in the yellow advantage flyer… that could be used with the ground sirloin this week. Thanks for all you do!

      • LD

At the Publix I shop at they let me use FL coupon with a store so I can use the $1 off $5 flip also . I only use one of a kind, of the flip each trip so they alow us to keep doing this. If I have a manuf. coupon I can only use one store . So 2 coupons per item . 2 store [no matter which store] or 1 store and 1 manuf. ! I am so pleased with this and hope they dont change this policy . Now if they would take walgreens RRs it would make my day . lol

        • lindsey

My store does take Walgreen’s RR b/c at the top it says “manufacturer coupon”. It’s the only Walgreen’s they will take, but it’s so awesome!!

    • Terry

The Target Juicy Juice coupon printed $1 off ONE!

      • Sue

I believe that the Target coupon if for a larger size bottle:-(

        • Carla

You are correct Sue. It’s for the 64 oz bottle. I just printed 2 of them this past weekend.

      • Allison

Yes, the juicy juice is the larger sized one…BUT… I got by with using it last night on a smaller bottle. It all depends on the cashier!

        • Terry

Yup – it worked for me this morning!

          • Natalie559

Just b/c it got through doesn’t mean you should try. If it clearly states a specific size and you use it on a different size then that’s wrong :(

            • Betty

If that’s the worst thing you do in life believe me you’r one in a million. Chill out & have a great day.

            • Holly

You’re right Natalie. Thanks for maintaining integrity in all of this! Coupon fraud just makes it harder for those of us doing it honestly!

            • Christy

Remember, if it is the wrong product, Publix won’t get reimbursed for it and they are so great about their coupon policy, we really don’t want to rip them off! It’s one thing if you misread or don’t pick up on something like this, but now that we all know that the coupon is for a larger size, let’s save it for a later time.

            • Emily

It is a store coupon, so Publix wouldn’t have been reimbursed for it anyways.

            • amanda

Hi, just read your comment. Just because the cashier let you please do not misuse coupons in the future. The store was nice enough to supply the coupon for us the least we could do is honor what the coupon states. When you do things like this it makes it harder on everyone else, they could all together stop having store coupons…then were would all the awesome deals go?

          • amy

Stealing is Stealing. It is that simple. This is not a gray area.

            • Stephanie

Let’s be honest, if we want the stores to keep honoring our coupons we need to use them correctly. We would be mad if the stores overcharged us on an item and would demand it be given back, we should also give the same respect when we shop at their store by using coupons with correct dates and so on. With that said, it not true that the store will not get paid for the coupon used. Stores do not have to turn in an itemized list of products bought vs. coupons used. They are paid regardless, go ahead and research it online. Bottom line is they are not losing money on these products BUT we are the ones who need to be responsible enough to use them correctly.

    • Donna

theres a publix coupon for the gatorade in the yellow flyer

      • Jenny

        It’s for the 64 oz bottle. :(

        • Monette

It is $1.00/1 for 64 .oz or larger.

    • tina

Thanks!! Looks like a slow week for me :(

    • Michelle

Could any one tell me if Teddy Grahams are included in the Nabisco rebate? I didn’t see the specific name but I wondered if anyone else knew. Thanks in advance.

      • Sue

I don’t think they are because they are not in the picture of the participating producrs. However, Honey Maid Grahams are. Participating products shown are:
        7-16 oz. crackers including:
        Ritz
        Ritz Chips
        Wheat Thins
        Triscuit
        Honey Maid
        Sociables
        Better Cheddars
        Chicken in a Biskit
        Premium Saltines
        Stoned Wheat Thins
        Easy Cheese
        Planters Nuts 9.25-21.25 oz.

        Hope this helps.

    • Carrie

The Knorr Publix Store Coupon is .55/2 (atleast from AJC it printed this way)

      • Carrie

I also do not see the $1/3 from RP 1/24. So using the Store Coupon (.55/2) on this deal makes them .40 cents each

        • Carole

I don’t see the RP 1/24 Knorr coupon either. Anyone??

          • Jenny

sorry guys wrong date that is coming out this weekend!

            • Brandy T

I found the store coupon in the AJC. $.55/2. Now I’m waiting for the MQ to come out.

            • Michele

I found a .60/2 Q for the Knorr sides in RP 1/31. Makes it an even better deal :0)

      • Leigh Ellen

How do you print coupons from the AJC? Are you an online subscriber?

        • Carrie

was referring to the printed inserts that come in their Sunday newspaper, not online.

      • Carrie

Any other place to get the Knorr Publix store coupon besides the AJC? I didn’t see any insert in my paper (Jacksonville, FL). Will the coupon be in the Publix weekly ad that we can pick up when we enter the store?

        • deedee

No, it was in the paper about 2 weeks ago. I got it here in south FL.

        • Carrie

I finally found the Knorr’s Publix coupon in the SS 1/17 insert. But to let you know the differences in different papers, I had bought both the Jacksonville Times Union and the St. Augustine paper but the Knorr Publix coupon was in one but not the other.

    • Allyson

FYI–Publix has a special of $3.39 on a gallon of milk. I was in the Rivers Ave Target the other day in Charleston, SC. I seldom buy milk there but didn’t want to make an additional trip elsewhere. At first I only saw the .79 and thought wow, $3.79–steep. Then as I got closer–it was $2.79 regular price. So if in Target, be sure to check the milk prices.

      • c

my walgreens has PET milk for 2.59 regular price

    • Aymie

Is the Farm Rich coupon regional? I only have the $.75 which stinks for me I really wanted the $1.50 off!

    • Upromise has some e-coupons to match the Huggies deals. Remember all Upromise coupons are credited back to your Upromise account, not deducted from your purchase price.
      -$1/2 Huggies wipes
      -$3/1 Pure & Natural
-$2/1 Little Movers or Little Snugglers or Overnights
      -$1/1 Snug & Dry

So you could get a couple additional dollars back . . .

      • sharon

I have never found Pure & Natural diapers in any of my Publix… do they carry them?

    • Megan

Mine in Simpsonville, SC had the Purina cat food on sale this past week….wondering if they got confused!? We use Purina One so I got 6 bags!

    • Christy

THANK YOU!! THIS IS GREAT!! :)

    • Jennifer

Morning! I am having trouble getting the Pepperidge Farm bread coupons to print. Every time I try it says I have exceeded the allotted amount. I have NEVER printed one before. I tried the FF one also and I had to download the coupon printer. After downloading it gave me the same message! I asked my husband to try and he got the same thing on his computer. He has NEVER printed a coupon before (any kind) so he shouldn’t have gotten the same message. Any suggestions on how to make it work? Thanks!!

      • Stacey B

        I received the same message.

        • nina

I as well:( really stinks I even installed firefox only for it to say I have printed them already I tried all 5 of my computers boo :(

        • Melanie

          ditto.

      • Bethany

I got the same message on the YoPlus, Eight O’clock coffee and PF bread. What is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????

        • Stephanie

Eight O’Clock coup is working now, after trying all day I finally got my 2…..TRY IT NOW!!!

    • Elizabeth

The link for the Food Lion meat coupon is coming up “Page not found.” Anybody else having this issue? How do I fix it?

      • Amy

That happened when I tried to get the Tombstone coup as well. Anyone found out how to get to the pdf?

        • Dona

That happened to me the first two times, I just kept going back and trying and then it came up and printed. I am not sure why?

          • Elizabeth

I just kept going back and it worked eventually. When it printed, it printed out 5 of them! I’m sure I can find people to give them to though.

    • Dianne

Coupons.com has a $1 Q for Bayer aspirin that will go along with the green advantage buy $5/2 that expires 1/29. Makes for possible overage. Happy bargain hunting everyone!

      • Kim

I did this last night. I had several Bayer coupons from the Sunday papers a few weeks ago. I used the 1.00 off coupons and the $5.00 off 2 Bayer coupons from the Green Advantage flyer and got the smaller Bayer baby aspirin package which was around $2.65 I think. I bought 2 and used 2- $1.00 off q and the 1 Publix $5 off 2 Green Adv q and made a good bit off the deal. Great!!!

        • twyla

I did the same thing …my publix is wonderful about overages…The manager is great!! but even if they decided to stop giving the overages..I would totally understand :)))) Love my publix!!

        • Laura

Yes, I have been buying Bayer, Aleve and a small J&J first aid kit everytime I go to Publix and get overage every time. Great deals!

          • Angel

I’ve been doing this a LOT since the $5/2 coupon came out. I don’t need the stuff, but the overage is great on my grocery bill. I’ve put the items aside for our church’s mission trip to Haiti. I’ll be doing it this week with the Phazyme and the Bayer, because I think I’m out of Aleve and the first aid coupons. I don’t need either one, but someone will, and I’ll get the overage savings. Its a double blessing!

    • Melissa

FYI–Especially Middle TN Shoppers–During our shopping trip to the Mt. View Marketplace Publix last night, we were informed that Publix will no longer honor any coupons that have been printed from the internet nor any coupons that say “free” item. We were also told that Pulbix would no longer accept Walgreens, CVS or Rite Aid coupons since they aren’t “true” competitors. The explanation that was given is this a change in the Publix corporate policy. Historically, this store has taken every type of competitor coupon. I have emailed corporate to find out what is going on. Just curious if others have heard this same story. Thanks!

      • Emily

Spartanburg, SC will also not accept drug store coupons…only traditional grocery stores located within a relative proximity to the store. But we haven’t ever been limited or denied on internet printables…that is often half of what I use, depending on the week. Good luck!

      • LindaB

Call the store this morning and ask to speak to the store manager. Sometimes the cashiers get in trouble for accepting coupons that should not have been accepted so they just ‘shut-down’ so to speak. They just don’t want to look bad or even lose their jobs because of mis-understanding how coupons work. The store manager will be able to tell you what the store policies are. Or go to the courtesy booth before shopping and ask the store policies on coupons. (Take note of the persons name)I know I like to be well informed on just what Q’s my store will accept so I have made it a point to get to know my store manager. Just drop his name to your cashier as you are checking out if there is a problem.

      • Sarah

I had a lengthy conversation with the assistant manager in Goodlettsville and he told me they gladly accepted internet coupons as long as they are $5 or less and not for free items. This was the result of a misunderstanding about him not accepting one of my q’s – which I had e-mailed corporate about.)

      • krks

Melissa, I went to the Mt Juliet store once recently and noticed one of their customer service ladies was the one I had a very bad experience with at another store. She is very coupon unfriendly. I hope this is only a misunderstanding because I also use internet coupons regularly. :)

      • Stephanie

I can understand not taking drug store coupons, but not internet coupons. I have been shopping there as I live right down the road and so far no problems. If problems arise I will go back to the other store where I know so many of the people there. The customer service person last night didn’t act very friendly. I just hope there is a mis-understanding.

      • amy

Consider yourself lucky. I live in Franklin TN area. My publix has NEVER accepted drug store coupons such as walgreens, rite-aid, and cvs as they are not grocery stores. Publix Rocks. I love publix. They have great buy one get one free deals
They are so customer friendly and have a very flexible coupon policy.
My publix accepts Kroger, Target supercenter, and food lion coupons.
None of the krogers in my area will accept competitors coupons nor will my wal-mart. My choice is Publix. Remember: don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Publix could eliminate competitor coupons any day just as Kroger has. Happy Shopping.

      • Christal

My Publix (BellMeade on Harding Road) just informed me they would only be accepting 6 like coupons per order, and ONLY Kroger or Harris Teeter coupons. I have never had any trouble with internet coupons, as a matter of fact I had three I used today and she didn’t say anything about that changing.

    • Emily

Will you still be posting the penny item this morning?

      • Lena

The penny item at the Kennerly Rd. Publix in Irmo, SC is Publix coffee in the brick. I also asked if they were still accepting internet printed q’s and I was told that they are. HTH.

      • Michelle

        Coffee in Greenville SC too

    • Amy B.

The tide detergent could make for a good deal with the following coupons:
      Tide Detergent 100 oz $10.99
      -50¢/1 Tide Detergent 1/17 PG
      -$2/1 Tide Food Lion printable
-FREE Downy wyb Tide 100 oz. peelie

Use all three to get Tide & Downy for $7.99. Not as good as the All & Snuggle deals that we’ve had, but if you use Tide….

      • Sandra W

Why are you allowed to stack the 50c off tide coupon with the store coupon from Foodlion?

    • I’m having trouble getting the shopping list to work. Anyone else?

      • Amy

it’s working fine for me. just check off the items & hit the gray button that says “Create List” at the bottom.

      • Sue

Do you have the boxes to check? If not, just click on the printer icon at the top of the list where it says “Printable Shopping List”

        • Sally

I’m having trouble also. When I click on the little printer to get the boxes to come up it say page not available or something like that. It happened on BiLo also.

          • It wasn’t working this morning, but it is working now. It did not have the check boxes and then when I tried to create a shopping list, it gave me a server error or something. All better though!

      • Patty

I can not get it to work in Firefox,I have to use Internet Explorer

    • keb2009

you guys sure can suck up some coupons! a1 only lasting 3 hours?

      • Carla

As the saying goes “The early bird gets the worm”!

        • Dona

Try again, they must have reset the link, I got it to work about 5 minutes ago!

      • Leslie

It may have reset; I was able to print it just a few minutes ago.

    • JEB

Is anyone able to get the CheX Mix coupons to double anymore, making it .24 cents? The ones you print usually say Do Not Double, and when I go to the Lex., SC store , they get suppressed. I found Bilo will still double…Just wondering…

      • Lana

All of the BiLos in my area are still doubling those and the Spartanburg SC Publix still doubles those but not Duncan SC and no overage there either.

        • Sue

I went to the Spartanburg store the other day (Hillcrest) and they were so nice. Even gave me credit for Green Advantage buy Q’s when I did not have one and they were out.

      • Carrie

I do not attempt printing these type coupons anymore from those sites since they do indeed say “DO NOT DOUBLE” and the cashiers suppress the coupon. I don’t blame them either for doing that since they will only be reimbursed the un-doubled amount from the manufacturer.

      • Jenny

Try a different Pulix. The one up on Hwy 6 near Ballentine (only 2 miles north of the dam) does not suppress anything.

    • Michelle

My publix (Furman in Greenville SC) had Rotel BOGO too. There was a .55/2 in store dispenser a while back that’s good until 2/28 if you have it.

      • Christy

Love that Publix (of course, I didn’t coupon as a college student)–probably bought more beer and subs than anything else! :-)

      • Deb

My Publix in Lexington had the Rotel in-store dispenser coupon today: $.55/2 — this dispenser wasn’t there last week (I’m pretty sure)

      • Gina

yellow advantage flyer also has .75/2rotel coupon to use with the .55/2 in store dispenser coupon :) :)

      • Leslie

I also found a buy two get one free coupon in an All You magazine insert for Rotel.

    • Rachel

If your store considers Rite-Aid a competitor, there is a $1 off 12-pack of Coke Store Q – You have to watch a video to get it. This could be a decent buy.

      • Debbie

There’s also a RA huggies q I got from watching videos a while back, exp 1/31

    • Where did everyone find the ‘Little Book of Big Savings’ books?
      Thanks!

      • Carrie

Try asking customer service, sometimes they are kept behind the counter for safe keeping. ;)

      • Hailey

I was so excited to find this at the Irmo, SC – Kennerly Crossing store. It was on a display when you walked in the doors.

    • keb2009

looks like the FL meat and tombstone coupons aren’t loading. anyone get it to work?

    • Tarrah R.

The Emerald Print is for Diamond Almond slices. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for all you do, you are great! God Bless!

    • Dana

not sure if anyone is still trying to fit in a few medicines but here is a good link for q’s..

      http://www.essentialsforlivingwell.com

    • Lindsay

Silly Question…I’m new…but what does IE and FF mean when it’s next to the printable coupons??
      thanks!!

      • Terry

Internet Explorer or FireFox. It depends on which you use.

        • Lindsay

          Thanks!

      • I’m really glad you asked that question. Good to know the answer.

    • anyone having trouble printing the tombstone pizza coupon? I get the response “page not found”

    • Melissa

Middle TN Shoppers–I called and spoke with the manager of the Mt. View Marketplace regarding the change in policy. They will still take internet coupons, but no internet coupons for “FREE ITEMS”. They will no longer accept Walgreens, Rite Aid or CVS coupons. This is a bummer for me as we used the $5 off $25 purchase coupons all the time. Sorry for the confusion.

      • Stephanie

There goes my free milk coupon that I had left for another shopping trip. Used it last week no problem..bummer.

      • Carolina

Thanks for letting me know. It has been awhile I haven’t shopped at Mt View Marketplace. They used to take all sorts of coupons. Thanks for the heads up.

    • melissa

      FOOD LION Q’S

I figured out how to get them to work if you had trouble!!
Go to the top of this page and where it says “other GROCERY STORES” hit “harvery’s” and it should say grocery coupons. click that link than you will see the food lion print from IE or PDF!

      hope you all get it!

      • keb2009

        good call!

    • Michelle M.

I’m having problems printing the Pepperidge Farm and Nabisco coupons. They’re both from bricks.coupons.com. Every time I click on the link it brings be to a page to install the coupon printer. I’ve installed it 3 times and it still wont work. I click the ‘print coupons’ button and it just refreshes the page without printing. HELP!

      • kim

Try reinstalling the coupon printer with your firewall and anti-virus software turned off. Restart your computer. If the firewall and anti-virus do not come on automatically, restart them manually.

    • krks

Our store will no longer double any coupon that states No Doubling or Tripling on it. Normally, these are the Betty Crocker internet coupons like Chex Mix, Idahoan Potatoes, BC Frosting, etc. I no longer waste my ink on those unless Kroger is running a good sale. :)

Does anyone know where to find the “little book of big savings” that Jenny is talking about under the Huggies wipes deal? I tried to find it a publix this morning and no luck. I really wanted to get the deal on the wipes :-)

      • Jennifer

I got it from asking at Customer Service. A couple of weeks ago they had some there at my Publix. (Birmingham, Al.)

      • Mine ‘were’ in a cardboard display. However, I went to one and saw them in a closet at customer service. I’d ask if you don’t find them. (Montgomery, AL)

      • Hailey

I found this book today in Irmo, SC but the coupon states save $1.50 on a “package” of huggies baby wipes. So I don’t think they will take it on the smaller containers. The larger packages are also what is pictured.

        • wendi ellerbee

yes, i thought the same thing! I guess some people will get super cheap wipes and some won’t! I do not want to get ripped again like the Walgreens Huggies coupons a while back! Anyone remember that? I never got the cheap wipes because the refill bag was shown on the coupon, others got away with it but not me.

          • deedee

It is the wording not the picture. The wording says package. So, they/we are using it on the size package that we choose.

    • norma

Does anyone know if the GM coupon for $4 off is regional? What page are you finding it on? I’m in Florida and can’t find it in my flyer—maybe because so many people took advantage of the ad the last time it came out. Until then, and when I went to their website, I never realized how many products were GM. Thanks!

    • Melissa

There is also a .75 off two Rotel diced tomatoes in the yellow advantage buy flyer.

    • Amy

Isn’t Starkist on sale? Is there a matchup for that?

      • I found that special too. Came to 47 cents a can, but no coupon.

        • Dee

If there is a Save-A-Lot in your area, there is a coupon on their website for buy two Starkist, get one free.

    • Christina

Does anyone know the zip for Nature Valley Granola Bars? All I can find is the clusters.

      Thanks!

      Jenny You Rock!!

      • Elizabeth

        32301 or 32303

    • Hannah

if you go to http://www.whymilk.com, you can register to win a year’s supply of milk. Just for registering, you get to print a coupon (or 2 if you hit the back button) for a free gallon.

      • Laura

Thanks for that link, Hannah! I just printed out two of these Qs. :)

For a second there, though, I was dissapointed, as it says “Free gallon of milk with $100 grocery purchase”. I thought to myself, “No way do I even come close to $100 anymore!”, but then realized that that would be before all of my coupons! LOL! :) My last trip to Publix would have qualified, even though I only paid $35 OOP for everything!

    • Rotel is priced at $1.39 at our store. There’s also a 75¢ off 2 coupon in the Yellow Advantage Flyer – Hurray for overage!!

      • twyla

yes I was excited to see them b1g1….I almost used my coupons this week…glad I held on to them :)))

    • Jennifer

It says the Glade 4 oz. jar candles are bogo for $1.74. There is a “$3. on any 2 products from The Fragrance Collection by Glade” on coupons.com using zip code 35078. Do you think this applies to that purchase?? It’s worth a try!

      • Laura

They do make the Fragrance collection candles in a few different sizes – 2, 4, & 10 ozs – so this Q may very well work on the 4 oz size. I really hope so, as the Orange Vanilla ones are to die for – they smell just like an orange creamsicle! :)

Thanks for the head’s up – I just printed two off of my main computer, and just may print two more on my secondary computer!

        • Stephanie

Please let us know if this works!!

          • Stephanie

those were not the ones on sale at my store :0(

            • Toni

Ditto that. The coupon is for the Frangrance Collection and they aren’t the ones on sale.

    • Kelly Hall

Help! I bought Huggies ($19.99), Cottonelle tp ($6.49), and Knorr sides (3 at sale price of $0.67 = $2.03) in hopes of receiving the KC/Unilever rebate gift card. The amount of these items before coupons was $28.51. For some reason, I had it in my head that it was the original price of each item that qualified for the rebate, regardless of sale prices and the coupons I then used. (Original prices would put me right over $30.) Does anyone know if that’s correct? Should I still send in my rebate form or did I just get it wrong and shouldn’t waste the stamp? Thanks!

      • Debbie

I don’t know for sure but I’m also hoping for before coupons. I’m going to give it a try.

      • Lianna

I’m pretty sure that the item amounts on your receipt, before coupons, is what counts for the rebate. So the price that rings up, whether it be a sale price or regular price, before coupons are deducted, must add up to $30. For instance, I’m going to buy 1 huggies at 19.99, 3 wipes at 2.99, and 2 knorr sides at 1.35/2, so my total (for purposes of the rebate) will be 30.31. After coupons I’ll pay a lot less of course ;)

        • Lianna

You have to circle the qualifying items and the prices of the items on the receipt, and those amounts have to add up to $30.

        • Christine

Do the wipes qualify for the rebate? I saw them in the picture on the back of the coupon book, but they weren’t listed in the participating brands. If they do qualify I just bought a whole lot of TP that I didn’t have to:(

          • Emily

I emailed the in about this rebate and asked:

“I purchased $35.98 worth of participating products (Huggies and Pull-Ups) on 1/15/10. I had $12 in coupons, bringing my total after tax and coupons deducted to $25.78. Is this eligible for the rebate? ”

            Response:

“Thank you for your inquiry into the KC/Unilever promotion. Yes, you are eligible as long as your total purchase of participating brands, prior to coupons, totals a minimum of $30. “

    • Rhonda

Can not get the Eight o clock coffee coupon to print. Anyone else having problems

      • Tiffany

yes I had trouble too, I had to go to the original site and then navigate through it to the coupons, I was then able to print 2. Good luck!!

    • Anyone in Montgomery having a problem using Walgreens RR? I have used them forever and all of the sudden, today, the cashier got snippy and I said that they were a competitor. She went and got the manager and he said that they don’t consider it competitor. I’m not sure if this is new or not, but when I stated I had used them before he got rude and walked away. I know a different manager at the same store says I can, or at least did. If you can still use them around here, which stores? If it’s changed, it’s changed, just a bummer that I can’t use them to get $5 or $10 more off!!

      • Melissa

I’m in Prattville and was told that out Publix only considers Winn-Dixie and Target a competitor. Good luck.

      • Stacey

They are manufacturer coupons, so you should be fine to use them.

      • Dianne

I’m in Montgomery too. On my last trip to the Dalraida Commons store I was told they were no longer accepting drugstore coupons as competitors. They said they will accept Winn Dixie coupons, and when I presented a Target coupon, the cashier initially tried to reject it too, but another cashier told him that they were still accepting Target coupons. They attributed it to having a new manager, but after reading other posts it makes me wonder otherwise. I don’t know about Register Rewards. I will miss using my Rite Aid $5/$25 Q.

      • Trudy

Here in Sarasota, FL my 3 closest Publix’s still take the Wags RR’s- but some enter them as “competitor” q’s and others scan them as manu q’s. Not sure if they get reimbursed from the manu., though, since it clearly says “redeem at Walgreens” on them. So I only present 1 RR per transaction to be safe (I don’t want to scr** them over if they don’t get reimbursed). They WILL scan, though… I think it varies from store to store and cashier to cashier how they handle the RR’s. I like that they have local autonomy, but on the other hand, it WOULD be nice to have a clear corp. policy for consistency and to avoid “surprises”.

        • They ‘used’ to ring them up as a competitor coupon, and one time the cashier scanned it as a MQ, but I guess since there isn’t that much food at Wags, they won’t take them anymore. It’s a bummer, because this is how I would use them if they were about to expire! I have never tried to use Target, but definitely won’t bother now!

    • rebecca

Rotel (seen in store by others) (price unknown)
-.30/1 Rotel Tomatoes SS 1/24 (should make it FREE)
-$1 off Velveeta and Rotel “Game Day Greats” booklet
-.55/2 Rotel Tomatoes in store dispenser

There is also a Publix 75¢/2 coupon in the yellow advantage flyer that you can stack with the 55¢/2 blinkie to save $1.30/2. Rotel tomatoes on the top shelf and include the “spanish seasonings” in them. At my store they are $1.39/can regular price. So if it’s bogo (though I don’t see it in my flyer). $1.39/2 – publix .75/2 – blinkie .55/2 = NINE CENTS FOR TWO CANS!!!!!!!!

We drain them and use them on tacos year round. Add them to chili for a little kick. Original is diced tomatoes with green chilies. Hub likes the jalapeno ones. I HOPE they’re BOGO at my store…. I have about 30 blinkies and can always grab more adv.flyers!!!!!!!!!!!

      THANKS AGAIN JENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • MH

Save some coupons and Rotel for others too! There I was feeling guilty for buying 8 cans.

    • Laura

Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I found the Publix penny item coupon in the free Paulding County paper that comes every Thursday. Might be worth it to check if you get anything like this in your county. :)

    • Jayna

FYI that Publix in Franklin, TN will no longer be accepting Food Lion coupons starting on Monday because the Food Lion is closing…

    • Val

Im having a problem with a Publix in Vero Beach, FL giving overage, for eg. Rolaids buy 2, $4.00 Q. & for Example 2 Bayer @ 3.52, have 1 $1.00 MQ & Publix $5.00 Q they will not give overage, even though I was purchasing a lot more groceries,s that I didnt have Q for. Assit Mgr was not very nice to me. Mgr was not there. I have done this numerous times at this location & had this problem today. Suggestions? I have emailed corp about a diff situation over 2 weeks ago & have not heard back from anyone. THanks Val S.

      • LD

Well overage is a bonus not a corp policy some do some dont . From what I understand they will always adjust down a store coupon and give face value for a manuf. If it is a manuf. coupon giving you overage they should either not take it or give you face value [as they get the full amount back [plus handling fee] . If they take a manuf coupon you should get overage period. But at some places not pulblix [as they seem to follow the laws well, on coupon redemtion by either not accepting or giving overage] I just let it go as I got it free and that is good with me. If it is something I did not need and was only using for overage . I will just take it off and wait till I can find an overage deal or trade the for something I need or donate the item if it is a reall needed item .

overage is not a right with coupons that I know of in using them ?, just a bonus . The only thing I know of is they should not adjust the value down to a lower price unless it is a fill in the price one . And there is no law that says they have to take any coupons . Publix has a corp policy that some managers are more lax with for customer satisfaction . But unless they change it from a few years ago . face value or not at all. Just be careful if you want that followed to the tee .Then even things you would not get overage on but free may be denied if they follow that rule and just deny useing the coupon at all. I figure free is better than nothing . But I have never come across one in my area NF [jax area] that will let you use it and adjust the value down . It is either overage or nothing .

        • twyla

im in Jax too…ive only had one Publix adjust their store coupon down…Im very thankful also just to get it for free…but overages are Wonderful!!!

      • Kathleen

If you are using a manf q AND a Publix q, which brings the savings below the cost, they will (and I think have the right to) adjust down the cost of what they, the store will take off the price of the item. i.e. they are adjusting down the amount of THEIR q, not the manf q.
If you are ONLY using a manf q that brings the price below the cost, they will not adjust down the savings, giving you any overage.
imo, I think this is fair, I get these items for free.

    • Tessielah

The Chex Mis coupons links were for bags of chocolate Chex Mix–do these coupons also work for regular Chex Mix, or is there something that I’m missing?

      • Stephanie

I think this will work because I noticed that they were supposed to be for chocolate when I made it to the register and although I took the coupons out of my cart, I forgot to take the coupons out of the stack and she scanned on of them (and it doubled) before I noticed and corrected her. Basically, if that coupon would have worked when I didn’t buy ANY chex mix, then it should work with chocolate. I am going back tomorrow for some. Hope this helps!

        • Donna

There is a new coupon out for the reg now. Not sure if there is a size difference…

    • Frances

Can someone who has shopped at Publix this week post what Ronzoni pasta is B1G1 free? What printable coupons did you use (ie Smart Taste 1/2 and/or Healthy Harvest 1/2)?

From ad above: Ronzoni Pasta 12-16 oz, at $1.39 (69¢)
(excludes Lasagna, Manacotti, and Jumbo Shells)

Also, has someone used the Kroger’s $1.50/2 on Suave Shampoo at Publix? It starts with a “1” so it should not be a manufacturer’s coupon but has manufacturer’s coupon at the top.

From ad above: Suave Naturals Shampoo or Conditioner 22.5 oz, $1
-$1.50/2 Suave Hair Care Kroger Home Mailer (mfr. coupon)
      THANKS!

      • Jenny

I just went and dug mine up (suave) and it starts with a 5… interesting…

      • Debbie

Publix West Ashley, SC did not have the SmartTaste or Healthy Harvest Ronzoni on sale for B1G1.

        • Frances

May I ask a stupid question? Is there Ronzoni pasta besides SmartTaste or Healthy Harvest? Was any Ronzoni on sale at your store?

I am trying to decide whether to print additional coupons in hopes it is on sale at my local Publix.
          THANKS!

          • Yolanda

They have a regular pasta and it was the only one on sale. In my store it was in a separate section with the standard Mullers, etc. Blue box if I remember correctly.

      • Emily

@ Spartanburg, SC neither SmartTaste or HealthyHavest were on sale but I was able to use a coupon for HealthyHarvest on the regular (I got Ziti). I know not everyone agrees, so don’t kill me! :)

    • Sara

I just started couponing a couple of weeks ago and tried to use 2 manufacturer coupons for 50¢ off a pack of Huggies wipes. The cashier looked at me and said since I only bought 1 package I could only use 1 coupon. I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to talk to the manager to see if they double coupons (Publix on Wade Hapt. in Greenville). Am I doing something wrong? or was the cashier confused?

      • mary

Welcome to couponing! You are allowed to use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon but not two manufacturer coupons for one item. Sometimes you can find coupon books in your Publix or you can ask customer service for them. Jenny will always let us know when a new one is out. The coupons in there can be combined with your manufacturer coupons. Hope this helps!

        • Sara

I thought that they “double manufacturer coupons up to 50¢”. I’m in SC not FL.

          • Kristi

They do, but you only need one coupon. If it’s a coupon for 50 cents or less the register will automatically take off that amount twice. Check your receipt.

Does that make sense? Hope it helps!

          • Amy B.

They do double. They take any 50¢ or lower coupon that you give them & multiply it by two! You don’t need to provide two coupons – the registers multiply it automagically. :)

    • Tiffany

Can someone please tell me where to get the “Little book big savings”
      Thank you

      • Melissa

The customer service desk inside your Publix.

      • Lisa

Look on the Southern Savers Traders site, there are people there that are swapping this coupon book or at least the coupons that they won’t use. The link is on the top right side of this page, good luck!

    • courtney

Am I going crazy or is there a reason I can’t find the $2 cpn in the RP for Complete solution? Or the cpn for solo in the SS 1/24? And, my publx family style spring 2010 doesn’t have a cpn for Tyson just one for Butterball Turkeys.

      • Michelle

The Tyson was on the cardstock-like page in the very front of the ones they mailed out to subscribers

    • keb2009

      A1 coupon is back up!

      • Kim

        Awesome, just printed two! Thanks!

    • Stephanie

Just swung by the Publix off Hwy 119 in Alabaster, AL and wanted to let you all know that there is a blinkie at the sour cream section for 1.00 off Friendship sour cream. (Have never tried this brand, but I mix it with other things anyway.) This brand retails for 1.49 so after the coupon you end up paying .49!! I was excited to see this cause we go through LOTS of sour cream.

      • Michelle

If you have the All The Trimmings booklet from Christmas there is a store coupon you could stack with that man. coupon for 1/2 and it doesn’t expire until 1/31

        • Lana

Friendship sour cream is really good-right up there with Daisy (my favorite).

    • Selina

Hate it when I realize after the fact that the cashier didn’t scan ALL my coupons!

Also wondering if anyone has the answer to a question… I noticed when walking into Publix they had a sign listing the acceptable stores they would accept competitor coupons from. One of the stores on the list was Rite Aid… does anyone know if this includes the $5 off $25? That would be GREAT if so!!

      • Stacey

Most likely, yes! I use them in my store all the time.

      • Susan

Yes, I have used it without any problem.

      • Elizabeth

If you didn’t give all of your coupons to the cashier, take them to the customer service counter and they’ll give you the cash for them. At least, that’s what we’ve done at all three stores I’ve worked for in Florida.

    • Misty

Don’t know if it was posted or not but if the rotel is for real on sale the yellow advantage flyer has .75/2 Qs in for Rotel

    • Rhonda

Does anyone know if the Contessa Micro-Steam Meals are included in the BOGO deals? THANKS!!

      • Tracey

The Publix ad says “Assorted varieties” so I would assume that they are.

        • Lana

They have been in the past.

    • Jennifer

I just printed a-1 coupons so they may have reset them? Good luck!

      • twyla

        me too! thanks!

    • Caryn

Publix on Forest Dr. would not let me use the Juicy Juice coupon from Target. The cashier said they don’t consider them a competitor.
      True???

      • junequilt

Unfortunately, true. That’s because we don’t have a Target in the area that sells food. It will be interesting to see what happens when the new Lexington Super Target opens.

        • JEB

What about a Super TArget in LExington? I have not heard of that! ISnt’ there already a new Target there?

    • Brandy

A1 has been reset, I just printed it.

    • Tara

At the Lexington, SC store they had buy 1 100 oz. Tide and get a 32 oz. of Downey free on the Tide’s. (Peelie’s).

    • Donna

My Publix has some of their “As Seen on TV” items on clearance. I bought one item, was suppose to be $3.49 but rang up $9.99, took it up to customer service, she credited it back to my card, then told me that it’s Publix’ policy to give you the first item if it rings up wrong at the register. Just another reason to love shopping at Publix!

    • Yolanda

Thanks Jenny, I saved 55% on my shopping trip to Publix – just waiting on one refund from Olay for the Quench body lotion. I had purchased the items for the Publix $10.00 rebate and realized that my receipt was wrong when I got home so I can’t file for the rebate. Might not be a problem since the fine print on the rebate form indicates that it is limited to the first 5,000.

      Thanks again!

    • Ann

Hello to the Southern Savers deal-hunters that I see in the Goose Creek Publix!

I’m still finding my way around this store and trying to figure out which competitor coupons they accept. I wondered if anyone knows an online forum where people can talk to local couponers. It would be so nice to chat with some local people.

      THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE!!!

      • Donna

That’s the best Publix, I haven’t found a q that they won’t take. The manager, Mike, is very coupon supportive, even offered his conference room, complete with snacks, to anyone wanting to share info, and help newbies learn the ropes.

        • Tammy

Yes the manager of the Goose Creek store is really friendly and helpful with coupon issues. I work for the Goose City Recreation and my boss is going to try to get Jenny to come and do a seminar at the center I can’t wait.. check with them. Maybe they would let us do a montly get together to share ideas and trade coupons as a community service idea!!!

          • Paige

Let us Goose Creekers know if that happens, Tammy! I would love to go :) btw…is this Tammy from half pints???

            • Tammy

Yes I am trying to help get a group of couponers together I figure with 48 parents in my pre k class that would like to save money it should go over real well.

    • Shan

I am new to couponing and this will be my third shopping trip to Publix.I am still trying to get the hang of this but I am not sure what the Yellow and Green advantage flyers are or the Little book of Big savings?? Where do I find these items?

      Thanks So Much!
      Shan

      • Michelle

The yellow and green advantage ads are sometimes in the turnaround with the ads and the Little book of big savings is usually there, in the store, or behind the customer service counter. I usually go the customer service counter and ask if there are any new coupon books.

        • Shan

Thanks!!! I am going to go ask tomorrow.

      • Donna

ask at the service desk and sign up online for the ones that come to your house

        • Shan

Thanks -I just made the online requests!! Will ask the service desk tomorrow!!!!

      • Cori

Some have them on the turnsyles at the store entrance, most keep them behind the service desk because hoarders wouldn’t leave enough for everyone!

        • Shan

Thanks for all the information! This is really a great site. Now if I could just learn to save a ton of money with coupons!!LOL. Honestly this has been very helpful for a newbie. Thanks to all responded :)

    • terra

My Publix, located in the Birmingham, AL area, had lots of great things on clearance. Here are just a few of the items that I got tonight…

      Revlon Tweezers $1.19 – coupon $1.00 = $.19
      Revlon Nail Clippers $.79 – coupon &1.00 = overage $.21
Clean and Clear Face Wash $2.00 – coupon $2.00 = Free
      Clairol Hair Color $3.15 – coupon $2.00 = $1.15
      Clearasil Acne Cream $2.50 – coupon $2.00 = $.50
      Centrum Vitamins $1.00 – coupon $3.00 = overage $2.00 (2 bottles)

      Great night at Publix…Saved 78%…

Jenny I could not do this without all your help…Thank you for all your hard work…You are a true blessing!

      • Renie

Terra, which Publix in Bham was this? Please say Homewood and I’ll head back tomorrow.

        • Terra

          Renie

I shop at the Publix in Trussville. Sorry…

    • Renie

My Publix said the $1.00 Juicy Juice coupon was, indeed, a store coupon so they would not accept it. So sad!

    • tryingcoupons

So…tonight was a rather interesting night at Publix (Duncan/Moore, SC). It’s been about 3 weeks since I started couponing. So it’s been fun and a learning experience for sure. Anyway, tonight the cashier saw my stack of coupons and asked for them before ringing up my items. She then proceeded to lay out the coupons before she began scanning. I asked her if she intended to scan the coupon as she scanned the item and she said, yes. So I offered to help her. I told her that as she scanned an item, I would hand her the coupon that went with it. So that’s what we did. I had coupons for mostly everything I bought except for maybe 4 or 5 things. She apologized and said that they were starting to get strict on coupons. I told her that was absolutely fine and that I didn’t mind helping her.

I bought the Benevia drinks and had the $4/1 Green Adv flyer coupon and the $5/1 printable (total of $9 in coupon savings for one item). The item was $8.47 or something (I can’t remember the exact amount right now.) She told me that she had to adjust the amount of the coupon because they were not allowed to take coupons that exceeded the amount of the item. I was ok with that then but like most of you, I can’t understand why the price of a coupon should be adjusted. I just didn’t think it was an argument I needed to have with the cashier. I do intend to write Publix about this though. She did pay very close attention to each item as it was rung up and the coupons that followed (I did several matches with store and manuf. coupons.)

All of this is understood, somewhat. And I actually do not mind since it insures that all my coupons are scanned and since I’m honest about couponing I have nothing to worry about but I’m really starting to wonder where this is going to take couponing. The internet and shared information is definitely changing the way consumers shop. We are more informed, very very savvy consumers. If you want information, you can find it. You can learn how to coupon! Something I never understood until now, thanks to Jenny and the southernsavers community. But if retail chains are going to start ‘cracking’ down on couponing, I think that they need to do it across the board at all chains. It needs to be clearly defined. That might be too much to ask for, but would cut down on the confusion (and frustration) that couponers like us have as well. (Take for example, Walgreens.)

I saved about 75% on my groceries tonight so I really didn’t mind what happened tonight at Publix, but I would just like some consistency at retail chains. I think that this is something that really needs to be addressed because it’s starting to make me feel like couponers are being hated on for what we do – SAVE MONEY. No one is getting cheated here. I know there are abusers out there, but I’m sure the majority of us are honest!

      • Elizabeth

I really like that idea of scanning the coupon right after you scan the item… I might mention that to my cashier the next time I go, that way, I know if it works right then, or if I’m going to need to cancel that item. Thanks!

      • Misty

Personally, I do not like when they do me that way, EVEN THOUGH, I am legal in my couponing, and do not want to break any rules, it makes me feel like I AM doing something wrong, or they just don’t trust me, it is bothersome, BUT I DO wish ALL the stores would list on their receipt directly under the product the coupon I used for that product. I know they cannot do that, but I really would love it.

      • Melissa

Last time I checked out, the cashier suggested that I put all my BOGO coupon items at the end. That way she doesn’t have to look really hard to find them in the system to adjust off the price of one of the items. As for each individual coupon going with each item, we’ve not had that in our area yet, but I’m prepared.

I would check store policy about the adjusting of the coupon price based off the price of your item. I believe Jenny says you can find store policies online. It doesn’t seem that that should be the case because I’m sure they’re getting whatever the value of the coupon is. My store has not done that yet either.

        Good luck!

        • Lana

Duncan Sc Publix has become very unfiendly to couponers. If you live kind of between the Duncan and Spartanburg stores like I do I would recommend the Spartanburg store as they still allow overage and the double everything.

          • tryingcoupons

Thanks for the tip Lana. I did see a comment in here about the Hillcrest store being more friendly. The cashier I got last night was young, friendly and even apologetic (she was just following orders), but I had another experience with an older cashier last week that was NOT friendly at all. Very condescending towards me. Sad to see that we have to drive out of our way to get customer service.

            • Publix employee

On behalf of the publix in Hillcrest, I would just like to say thank you for the compliment on our stores customer service. I noticed your name is “tryingcoupons” and I was reading some of the comments about the stores. We are happy to accept coupons there are just specifications. The reason why the company is considering doing away with competitor coupons is because so many customers dont fully understand who our competitors are and tend to get angry when we cannot accept some competitor coupons. Target, rite aid, walgreens and stores such as those aren’t considered our competitor. Also demographic plays a role too. What stores are in the area? We recently had a coupon come in from harvey’s…where the heck is that?? lol I hope this helps on your coupon adventure. I just started myself…HAPPY SHOPPING LADIES!

      • KimT

This sounds like what went on with me tonight. I was rang up by the Assistant Manager and she requested my coupons at the start. No problem. I handed them over and thought well that is new but whatever. She looked over each and every coupon then started ringing. Included in my coupons was a rain check from last week for BOGO Lysol Bathroom cleaners. She scanned three coupons right after she rang an item the rest she did at the end. Thats when she looks at me and tell me that I should tell her that I had a rain check before hand so they don’t have to look for them. Hello you had it in your hand at the beginning. We then had a discussion about taking a manufacturs coupon for $5 off your purchase. I let her win that fight because she took so long looking over my coupons that the line had gotten very long! I don’t mind them getting stricter on coupons but to treat someone who follows the rules poorly just isn’t good business. I mean they get paid back for all those coupons so whats the deal.

        • Tiffany

I also had the cashier mention something to me about a limit on coupons that are $5. What made it really weird was that my coupon was for $2 off the coffee. I am glad to see that I am not the only one getting grief for saving money. I have started to get looks from the Managers when I come in the store. If you have time what exactly was said about the $5 coupon. I would like to hear about it.

    • Misty

      Coca Cola!!! SAVE $2 on 4 12packs…

      Scenario 1:
      BUY 4 12 packs
      USE 1 $2/4 12 packs
      GET 2 FREE 12 packs

Scenario 2: (will this be allowed?)
Check out with 4 12 packs
      USE 1 $2/4 12 packs
Get one of those 4 FREE

      **Jenny Here**
I am afraid that the $2 off Coca-Cola coupon is not a legitimate posting of that coupon. Coca-Cola spends a lot of money to make all of their internet coupons secure.

      • Misty

        OH sorry.

      • deedee

I did find tear pad coupons for $2 off coke cases when you also buy nabisco crackers ( I believe that was the brand). I got several for my mom, as she only drinks diet coke.

    • foxfunds

Don’t forget about the 10/$10 powerade, buy 10 get 5 free. Combine that with the .50 off a single serve coca cola product on CVS printables – makes 15 powerades for $9 or less (depending on how many coupons you have – I had 8, it made mine $6 for 15 of them or .40 each). :D

    • Dana

Will this work for the KC/Unilever $10 rebate… (I’m new at this)

I belong to the Publix baby club. There is a $10/2 Huggies coupon in there. If you bought 2 packs of Huggies, $39.98 before coupon, then you could get the $10 Publix gift card. This would make each box less than $10, right?

      • Donna

That would work for the rebate, you have to send it in quick though since it is for the first 5,000. You could also use food lion or target coupons along with the man qs to get it cheaper. I got 2 boxes for $10 each and with the rebate makes it $5!

    • Tanya

Rotel tomatos were $1.39 each and then B1G1. There is a $.75/2 coupon in the Yellow Adv. Flier. Then use 2 of the $.30/1 insert coupon. Money Maker!

      • Steve

Or use the 55 cents off two blinkie mfg. coupon with the 75 cents off two store coupon in the yellow Healthy Savings book and you pay 9 cents for 2 cans. That’s even better than the 22.4 cents a can at the Krogrer Megaevent.

    • Michelle

Aleve is a money maker this week. The 24 count was $1.97 on sale at my store and used coupon for $5 off 2 from the green advantage flier.

    • Autumn

If you are a member of the baby club there was a huggies coupon mailed out in December for $10 of 2 huggies boxes. Use that with the $1 off q in 1/17 pay $28 out of pocket then apply for the rebate. Ends up being $9 before tax per box! great deal.

      • Donna

Autumn, you can actually use food lions or targets 1.50 off with those as well as the man q.s i got 2 boxes a few weeks back for $10 a box.

    • Steph in AL

I see alot of buzz over the Unilever rebate, but someone posted that it was limited to the first 5,000.!. Anyway, I found this one for Nabisco and you don’t have to spend a certain dollar amount, just have to show that you purchased 10 of their items, also the fine print doesn’t say that it is limited to any number of rebates. You can find it here…http://www.kraftfoods.com/SiteCollectionImages/ImageRepository/Sept_09/Kraft_Holiday_Crackers.pdf
Hope it’s ok to post this here. Not trying to step on toes.

    • Nichole M

Is anyone able to find some emerald nut coupons? I am only finding planters and blue diamond? I really wanted Emerald since its BOGO at publix!

      • Julie

Me too! The last time they were BOGO the peanuts had a $1 peelie. I am crossing my fingers we will be that lucky this time! Doubtful I know, but a girl can dream.

    • Melissa

What is the zip code for the Nature Valley Bars 5-8.9 oz $1.99? I seem to find it. Thanks!!

    • KimT

Ok so I just got back from Publix and all in all I got a good deal.

      (4) 20ct Aleve
      (1) 40ct Advil
      (4) Lysol Bathroom Cleaner
      (3) Toaster Strudal
      (2) yo plus yogart
      (4) salad dressing (the bogo this week, have my 6mth old next to me and think of the name of it..i keep coming up with huggies and thats not it LOL)
      Total 60.91
      OOP 13.81

It would have only been 3.81 if the Assistant Manger knew her own coupon policy. I had two $5 off your next purchace from the Kroger Kraft catalina. The AM tells me that I already used coupons for the Kraft salad dressing and I keep telling her that its not for an item but just a general $5 off. Then she starts with, well we don’t take Kroger coupons. I responded back that it was a manufactur coupon not a store coupon. When she still refused I just took the coupons back. I will use it tomorrow when I go to my other Publix to stack some of my Target coupons.

    • Beth

Can anyone verify that the Fiber One yogurt is included in the BOGO sale? Also, anyone have a price on the BOGO Juicy Juice?

      • marina

Sorry, not at my store (woodstock, GA). Only the YoPlus yogurt is BOGO! HTH!

    • marina

The Suave for men is not on sale for $1. However, there is a $1/2 for suave professionals in RP 1/3 and a store coupon $1/2 in SS 1/17 or the “little book of buys” booklet. Buy 2 and use both coupons, makes it FREE!!

      • marina

Just noticed that Jenny has it listed as “Suave Naturals”. So I’m not sure if “Suave Professionals” is the same thing or not. But it’s worth a try.

    • junequilt

I went to Publix last night to buy Purina ONE, since it is on sale for a lower price than what I pay at W-M. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that some of the bags contain coupons or cards for $5 off your next purchase of Purina! Look for bags with a big round blue seal on the front. Some of them also had a $2 off sticker!

    • Paige

I tried to use the Food Lion meat coupon, and I was told since it said for butchers brand meat they would not accept it. Anyone else have this problem? I went to the Publix in goose creek, sc.

      • Ron

Paige, I have used several butchers brand Food Lion coupons at the GC store.

    • Jenna

ok this is what i did last night at publix. i got three bottles of the one a day scooby do kids vitamins and one bottle of aleve. I used 2.00 off coupons for the vitamins which is 6.00 off and the green advantage coupon which was 5.00 off. and used a 2.00 off coupon for the aleve. I also got some bananas and paid 1.10. I got paid to buy the vitamins since they were 4.79 each and the aleve was 2.99. how cool is that? Also if any of you have tylenol at home check to see if it is on the recall list. I had 6 bottles at home and i checked their lot numbers they were on the list. I had bought them at publix in dec when the coupon for tylenol was 4.00 and you could get it for 0.25 a bottle. so i got six (we go throught it pretty fast). Anyway I took them to Publix and they gave me a 39.00 gift card for my tylenol. Several of the bottles had been opened and as a matter of fact two were half way gone. so they said it was ok. Thanks Publix I got quite a bit of groceries from that 39.00 card.

      • Michelle

That’s interesting. I had one bottle that was under recall and I called the recall number and they said they would send me a voucher for a replacement. It didn’t say anything about taking it to the store for a refund.

        • Leslie

I work for Wal-Mart and they will refund it if it is part of the recall, although it will be a gift card if you don’t have a reciept, just like Publix did. The stores get full credit from the supplier when they send it back. So why wait to get a voucher from the supplier?

      • Thank you, Thank you Jenna,
I love that one can return the product to the purchase place.
Publix Guarantee: We will never knowingly disappoint you. If for any reason your purchase does not give you complete satisfaction, the full purchase price will be cheerfully refunded immediately upon request.

    • mattiehyde

I think I did pretty good yesterday. I bought $149.21 worth of food, spent only 47.43. Thanks Jenny!

    • Donna M.

I was able to print a coupon for the AL sauce this morning which I could not do earlier in the week.

    • julie

Oh no! What happened to all the comments? Also, i was able to print the A-1 too!

    • Aymie

Went to Publix this morning to get the Pepperidge farm bread, didnt ring up bogo so I got them both for free…. gotta love Publix!

    • Kelly

I went to Publix yesterday and was able to use a baby club coupon for huggies pull ups for 3.75 on the regular diapers.. So they took the baby club coupon (3.75), the ad coupon $3.00, Food Lions Coupon (2) and the (2) manufacture coupon! Made for an awesome deal of $9.24 + tax for a box of diapers!

    • kj

As usual, I am unable to print most of the coupons… I really want the coffee one :(

    • LD

I did great at Publix saved $204.46 , spent 23.63. And $5 off that was an Aveno item my husband stuck in when I was not looking [no coupon no sale ugg]. I also forgot to use one of my $1.50 coupons but I am not complaining this was a great trip for me .

I will miss the phyzme bayer, rolaid etc. deals no more great overage .

      • Donna

you could go back and tell them you forgot to use that coupon on that transaction and give you the difference

        • LD

Donna I did think about that . But as it is, a few months back [i think] when they had that Tylenol deal got about 5 pkgs of the tylenol free and realized next time I went to use the store coupon it was for the larger size so figured I still owe them another $1 mistake lol. I had asked them about it after I went in again and tried to pay them the $2.50 [ I cant remember the amount but think it was that] they thought that was funny and said dont worry about it. No problem but appreciated the offer. LOL But with Publix being so great on coupon usage and taking other stores and not giving much of a hassle on any of my coupons . I just want to do right by them and my conscious. Plus I asked about the buy 2 get one free starkist tuna coupons [printalbes] to use with the b1g1 free sale they have on the 4 pk . I was thinking maybe I could get a single can and they would give that to me free . Manager said we can take the max value off the 4 pkg for you . That was really great . So am happy all and all . Hubby blew the budget with that Aveno more than anything lol. But he said I was not waiting for a deal or a coupon, sometimes a person just wants something now . Glad I am in charge or the $ and shopping lol

          • Donna

Yeah, Publix is always great if you have the friendly service. I know what you mean about the men always being inpatient about the sales thing. That’s why I tend not to have him shop with me! Probably should of gotten the Aveeno when it was on sale last week! Good to hear you saved so much!

            • lynn

thats why i shop alone too lol

    • lynn

things i have learned from here 1… i cant afford generic any more.. 2…. there is no such thing as a bad savings week at publix 3… orginize coupons makes every thing easier thanks jenny u are truely one in a million

    • There was NO Rotel Coupon in my SS 1/24. Did anyone else have this problem…actually, I have two copies and it is in neither. Maybe I am missing something.

      • Diane

I am in Savannah, GA and I didn’t get one either! =+(

      • mcoupons

Ok, thought I was losing my mind looking for Rotel everywhere in SS 1/24…

      • Michelle

I didn’t have one yesterday but the .30/1 was in last week’s paper

      • Jen B

I have that problem often with coupons, and I find it very frustrating! Sometimes, more than half the coupons I’m looking for are not in the coupon fliers.

    • Lis

First, just wanted to say thanx for this website….I always check here first….LOL. Second, there is a PDF available for a $1 Tyson Heat ‘N’ Eat Entrees here (http://www.embracedinner.com/App_Support/Images/Coupons/EmbraceDinner_E_Coupon.pdf) which should combine with the $2 Publix coupon, making the Tyson Pot Roast 49c each.

    • Casey

Anybody have a link for $4 or $5 off a $20 or $25 for Walgreens, CVS, or Save a Lot? The Rite Aid doesn’t work for my area. Thanks soooo much. I hate to go without one!

      • Carolin

There are printables for cvs 5/$25 on iheartcvs.com Only bad part is that they expire today.

        • Monette

Just want to let you know that CVS in McCalla accepted my CVS $5/$20 today. It expired last 1/24.

    • April – Florida

Just wanted to make everyone aware that there was a b2g1 Rotel Coupon in the January edition of the STORE copy of ALL YOU that is only available at Walmart. I bought 4 cans at bogo used the b2g1 (max was $1.00 on it) then used two publix .55/2 and used 2 .30/1 mq. I was soo excited.

    • If you take the AJC paper and your penny coupon comes on Thursday,
Publix in Carrollton,GA will except that. YEAH!!!!

    • Jenny

Thanks for all your help. I love your site!

I’m not sure if this deal was posted. It’s similar to your examples for the rebate offer of buy $30 get the #10 gift card.

      I bought
      1 box of huggies (48 ct)at 19.99
      1 bag of pull-ups (24 ct) at 10.39
      =$30.38
used: $3 off box huggies publix coupon
      $2 off huggies manu coupon
      $3 off pull-ups publix coupon
      $2 off pull-ups manu coupon
      after coupons=$20.38
after rebate $10 giftcard=$10.38 for all those diapers. Great deal in my opinion. I plan to take a trip to cvs for their deal and target (think they have luvs this week). That should be enough diapers since I’m about to put effort into potty training my little one :)

      Thanks again!!

BTW, I’m in SWFL if the prices are different.

    • Kristina

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a change in the attitude at Publix lately. The last few trips have been a little unpleasant for me. The cashiers seem to be examining every coupon to look for a reason not to accept them and the customer service ladies are not as happy to hand out the coupon booklets as they had been in the past. I am simply trying to save some money while sending 2 kids to college. I follow the “coupon rules” correctly, but lately have been made to feel like a second class customer when checking out.

      • Tiffany

Yes I totally agree with you, it makes me a little anxious to even go in there anymore. I don’t get it, how are they even loosing out on money…right???? I don’t care I walked out with $60 worth of food for $19 bucks.

      • Jennifer

I’m sure it goes back to the old saying “a few bad apples spoil the bunch”. I’ve stayed honest & the cashiers have started to recognize me. The cashiers are just doing their job, since they get held accountable for what they accept. Even with a few trips not good as others, Publix is still far better than any other store out there!!!!

      • Diane

Kristina, Have you talked to the store manager? When our Publix opened I introduced myself to him and always speak when I see him. I had a problem with a cashier that was so rude to me to the point it was offensive. I complained and I have never seen him again. I would never want a person fired, but this man was horrible. I also try to tell him when someone is nice or goes out of their way to be helpful. It balances the scales.
It is stressful checking out sometimes and it does seem as if they are having to pay for your savings out of their own pocket. What I have started doing is offering to hand them the coupons as they ring up the item. This saves me time and as I am honest about it there is usually fewer problems. I also can make sure they are scan this way as I watch them and they show up under the item they were for on the receipt. Just an idea

      • tryingcoupons

I have, most definitely. I’ve shopped at my local Publix for almost two years and have always loved it there. I didn’t start couponing until about a month ago and have noticed a significant difference in the way I’m treated as non-couponer and a couponer. I just emailed their corporate office this morning about my experiences there…and am waiting to hear back.

        • Jennifer

Sounds like maybe we are being too sensitive. Employees are stock holders, but they are trained to give good customer service no matter what. I don’t think they see someone with coupons and looks at the situation as an opportunity to be rude to them. Just my opinion. My Publix is always kind & courteous to me… coupons or not.

          • tryingcoupons

I’ve thought that as well. But then, I don’t feel the same at CVS or WAGS. Maybe it’s because the amount of things I’m purchasing at Publix is significantly more than the small purchases of CVS and WAGS – so I understand the attention that is required to make sure that all coupons and items match up. I think that if Publix is in fact getting stricter on their coupon policy and holding cashiers accountable that it affects work morale and the way a customer is treated if an employee feels they are under the microscope, no matter how much they are trained to treat the customer respectfully.

    • Yolanda

There are two coupons in the Atlanta Journal today; each coupon is 40 cents off of two 16 oz or larger Pace Picante sauce.

    • Drew

If coupons.com comes uop with a message that I have already printed my limit of this coupon, but haven’t printed any of them, does that mean they have issued all they can issued? I am trying to print the Pepperidge Farm bread coupon.

    • ************ NEW COUPON BOOK *********

Didn’t notice this posted anywhere above, but there is a new coupon book at Publix, over $24 in store and man Qs. Appox. 7 x 10 red booklet w/football and food products on front: PARTY PLAYBOOK.

Also, the green advantage flier is out.

    • Kimberly

Today in my coupons there was a coupon for 60 cents off of 2 Pace salsas!

    • April

Will FL Publix take a $5 Rite Aid Coupon?

      • Do you have a Rite Aid store close to Publix, that they would consider a competitor of theirs?

        • April

          No… bummer!!!

          • Brandy L.

I live in FL and we don’t have a Rite Aid within 200 miles and our Publix takes them. It won’t hurt to ask them.

    • Monette

The Birmingham News Parade magazine has a $1/1 on Chili (any brand, any flavor, or size) when you buy any one package of Keebler club crackers. Keebler club crackers is buy one, get one free at Publix (you can also use Manufacturer’s coupon for Keebler found at RP 12/13) and Hormel chili is $1.25. I think this is a good catch.

    • Brenda

Can anyone tell me where to find the $40/1 coupon off Nature Valley Granola Bars. I can only find the clusters. Thanks so much. And many, many thanks to Jenny — You have saved us so much money on our groceries — we are eating better than ever before, and at $1/5 the cost!!!!! THANKS JENNY

    • Margie

Huggies wipes were not marked on sale at the Trenholm Plaza Publix. Hmmmm….

    • Brandy L.

I’ve been couponing for about 3 weeks now and every Sunday I have the same problem. The smart source and redplum inserts never have the coupons that are posted here. Does this happen to anyone else?

      • Donna

It depends on your areas newspaper. Jenny does a article on insert variations. If you click on the paper you buy she has a list of what coupons should come in that paper. Not everyone gets the same coupons. Bigger cities get more high value ones.

      • Diane

        Brandy,
I live in Savannah, GA but the coupons listed come out of the Atlanta, GA paper, about 4 hours from me. A lot match, but there are times when it is frustrating that I don’t have a coupon that I really want/need. Most recently, the 2.50 off Finish. The great thing is that usually I can find a printable version of the coupon online. Jenny is great about listing most of them under the items. That might be an option for you. You could also see about having a paper from a larger area delivered. I cannot get the Atlanta paper here, because the have a 50 mile limit. You’ll have to check with the papers nearest you. Hope that helps

      • Connie

I get the AJC in Atlanta and the coupons mostly match. Sometimes it’s for a different amount and sometimes it comes a week or 2 later. Yes, it is a bit frustrating. It helps me to just clip the coupon and put them in a binder instead of file the whole insert.

Check your local Barnes & Noble or Borders and see what newspapers they sell. Or ask if they would carry another one.

        • Brandy

Thanks everyone for your help. I appreciate it.

my coupon said redeemable only at Petsmart – does Publix take that as a competitor?

        • Sandra

Meg, my Publix does NOT take competitor coupons anymore. The manager told me it was company wide.

      • deedee

Pro Plan is not on sale. Purina One is on sale. Pro Plan is only available at pet stores.

        • carolyn

The Publix in Cool Spring (Franklin, TN) would not take the Food Lion coupon for Tide. They said since Food Lion is closing some stores in the area, they weren’t taking them. PLUS…they said they don’t take Target or any other competitor coupons anymore. BTW…NO, I did NOT buy the Tide.

i just printed off this, there are two other pages to choose from if you drink coors

    • lindsey

I didn’t read all the comments, so sorry if someone has already said this….but, I’m so excited!!! My Publix didn’t have anymore of the “Little book of big savings” books which I could’ve racked up some savings on this week!! But, my SS 1/17 had an insert with several of the coupons that come in the book & they are store coupons!! They included Suave, Knorr, Huggies, Viva & Cottonelle!!! CHA-CHING!! ;)

    • Donna

Theres a pepperidge farm coupon for .55 off 1 instead of what is stated at the top and if no one noticed there is a coupon for the reg chex mix.

    • Caroline

Tropicana 50 is on sale for 99 cents at my store – Toco Hills in Atlanta

    • kelvin

I have 2 coupons: 1) B1G1 Friskies Party Mix 2) $2 two Friskies Party Mix. They are at $1.69 each at publix. I wonder if they will let me use both coupons for 2 Party Mix bags. Of course, this means I will make 31 cents on two. Both are manufacture coupons.

      Any idea?

      • Daniel

You can use both. It will make them half price with your B1G1

        • Daniel

you will need to buy other things to absorb that overage. otherwise, you just lose that overage. they won’t give you money back. i have only had publix give me money back once.

      • KK

you can’t use both. it would be like using two coupons on the same item.

    • deedee

Publix just recently posted the big green signs in their windows that they accept grocery store competitor coupons, so why would they stop??

      • KK

GROCERY STORE is the key word. Not drugstore, petstore, babies r us. Grocery Store.

    • iris elliott

How does the unilever Kimberly Clark rebate what. My Publix had no idea. Neither do I. Help

      • Donna

You need to buy the participating products. Jenny has the rebate form where you can print it out to send. You have to have it all on one receipt though and buy $30 worth. HTH!

    • andrea

has anyone noticed how a lot of the printable coupons say DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE? they just aren’t as useful to me so i don’t end up using them unless they are ones that wouldn’t be doubled anyway.

    • Amy

Is anyone having trouble with their public accepting more than one coupons on an item!!! we were told we could stack multiple manufactures coupons as long as they had different bar codes…. now our publix won’t even let us stack a manufactures coupon with a competitors coupon?!? Anyone know the official rules?

    • Sonya

      Good afternoon,
Just came from picking up 2 deals of the Huggies wipes. I had (2) little book of savings coups 1.50 and (2) .50 manf coups.
When I got home looked at my receipt it shows (2) 1.00 off coups for Depend Poise(which is also in that same little book). I didn’t buy any of those products so how could it even take it? I still have the depends coups in my books wonder if they ring 1.50? Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks. (This was at the Murray Landing store)

    • Brandy

I’m not sure what I am missing, but Jenny posted that the .50/1 makes the chex mix 24 cents. but wouldn’t that make it 74 cents? What am I missing? I’d really like to get it for 24 cents if possible. Thanks

      • JEB

If you are lucky enough that your store doubles these even though they say do not double, you can get it for .24 cents.

    • JEB

Did anyone ever find a store that carries Driscoll’s strawberries? My .50 cent coupon expires tomorrow.

    • JEB

don’t know where to post this, so doing it here where most people read…If I have 2 copies of Snow White DVD/Blu-ray that I purchased, will Disney Rewards let me enter the codes from both, or just one code will count?

      • Donna

You can put in both codes. Each dvd has different codes for the rewards so put in each.

    • Tina

FYI: I went to Publix on Sunday 1/31 in Tallahassee, FL and they would not accept the Food Lion coupons…they told me they were no longer accepting them.

    • I purchased the Pub Cheese which is really good!! Had a tearpad for $2/2, and some of the tubs had peelies for $1/1. Stocked up for Super Bowl!

    • Amber

Pepperidge Farm has a coupon on their site for .55/1

    • belle80

    • jackie

I am not seeing the printable Huggies coupons for diapers or wipes… can anyone give me a zip code that might work? Thanks!

    • Lindsey

For all you Chattanooga folks – the Publix at Hurricane Creen/E. Brainerd does not take competitor coupons anymore – unless it is for a SPECIFIC item! I tried to use a Food Lion coupon on meat (butcher's cut) on a roast and they would not let me. Just a heads up. So this publix only takes competitor's coupons on specific items. Thanks Jenny! I love your website and enjoyed seeing you a few a weeks ago.
