Here is your long list of Publix deals starting Wednesday 1/6 or Thursday 1/7 depending on your area. This week the ad has a new addition that we are going to more of every week. I haven’t decided my take on them yet… I have added a lot of deals from the current Green Advantage Buy Flyer. It doesn’t have any sale deals, but has a lot of coupons – so consider it a coupon booklet and grab one.

I will post the Penny Item first thing in the morning. You will need to buy a paper to get the coupon. Remember the Penny Item will be one day, and will run the first day of the new ad for your area.

shoppinglist1

Remember:

1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price **
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less **

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL**

does the all you magazine vary by region? i am in central alabama and i do not have the peter pan peanut butter coupon or the hunts ketchup coupon in my january 2010 all you magazine.

      • Aymee

I live in SC and do not have the Peter Pan coupon either!

        • Aymie

Central FL here and do not have them either! Not on their site either!

          • shannon billingsley

            me either in Atlanta

            • Heather

The coupons were in a tear out section only in the magazines at Walmart. The one I got in the mail did not have it either, but my store copy did.

            • Brandy T

I live in ATL and have the January 2010 All You. Inside there is a “mini” booklet of coupons wth them in it. It is an insert of about 5 half pages.

      • Karen

I bought a All You in Calera Alabama and it had the coupons in the back on thick white paper. Maybe someone took yours out like sometimes when I buy a paper there are no coupon inserts because someone stole them. I always check now before I buy the paper.

        • meg

I bought two copies this month to get these coupons – the one I get as a subscription did not include all the B2/G1 coupons, or the Marie Callender/Healthy Choice coupons/rebate. Very disappointed that the one I get delivered doesn’t have all the coupons -especially the high value ones!

          • Jessie

I know… I got my first issue of ‘All You’ in the mail and was really disappointed that they don’t have the same coupons. It doesn’t really make sense to subcribe!

            • Willowbeth

I actually stopped subscribing to ALL YOu because Subscribers do not get the good coupons! Wouldn’t you think they would want to keep the sudscribers happy? But no, we just got ahort changed. So I canceled to protest. I’m not missing snything.

      • Weslie

I’ve seen on a couple sites that the subscription version doesn’t have the coupons, but the newstand version does. I bought mine at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago in Metro Atlanta and I have the coupons.

      • Roz

I found $1/1 Peter Pan Peany butter in the December ALL YOU, expires 2/7/10 Might want to look in that one if you have it!

        • Adele

That one is for 28 oz. The bigger size, the smaller one is on sale.

      • jessica

There is a $1 off coupon for Del Monte that I got from the publix ad last week for the tomatoes- if you look closely, it also says you can buy a fruit cup (4 pack)with it making them $1 Yeah!!!!!

      • Angela

I got one free all you magazine in the mail. It did not have the Peter Pan coupon. But, I bought another one in Northwestern Alabama when I visited my family, and it had one of those coupons. The coupon came inside a separate insert stapled inside the magazine.

      • Laurie

If you look on the index, you won’t see some of the coupons. Mine were in the special ConAgra section in the middle. I thought I didn’t have the coupons either, but then I remembered I found them there before.

      • lynn

i live in the prattville/millbrook area and i had one in my magazine, it is a thick paper insert in the middle almost like a booklet.

      • Peggy

Wish I would have come down to the comments earlier, I’ve looked at my book 5 times cover to cover trying to find two couponsl :) Thought I was crazy

      • JJ

Ok i have a question i am a little lost. Hope i am posting this questin in the right area. Ok for the peanut butter i have the coupon from the magazine plus i have a 50c off 2 jars, so how many can i get all together? how much will it come up to? thanks

    • Jenny

It varies based on where you got it. The ones bought in Wal-mart have a few more coupons than the one you can subscribe too :(

      • tonya

Thank you. I did not know that. I will now look a little closer at those $ off coupons for the all you magazine.

      • Lena

I sure wish I had read this post before I ordered my subscription! Bummer!

        • Aymie

Dont kick yourself… All you still has great coupons even if they miss a few!

        • Karen

Me too, I just mailed it yesterday.

    • meredith

      Jenny
I went to Publix tonight and got 2 Bayer aspirin for .30 using the $5 publix Q. The 81 mg ASA are around 2.50-2.65. Also did the first aid tape deal but cashier adjusted price not allowing for overage:(

      • Elaine Mabry

My Publix is also adjusting for no overage as well. Still happy with FREE!

        • Sue

          Is this new?

      • seacoastmom

This is awesome, Thanks! My hubby takes an 81mg per day to keep his heart working well after surgery :@)

    • penny saver

did not see angel soft tp coupon???

      • penny saver

        Nevermind….use zip code 90210.

        • Paula

I cannot find the Angelsoft coupon under any zipcode I’ve tried. Any suggestions?

    • There is an all you printable coupon for $1 off Tazo Tea here: http://www.allyou.com/coupons-deals/exclusive-coupons-00400000049927/
There is also a $1 off coupon in the latest paper copy of the Whole Foods Real Deal newsletter…if your Publix has Whole Foods as a competitor it would make the tea .99 OOP after coups

    • Sam

There was also a $1/2 Kraft cheese Publix coupon in my insert last Sunday — nicely stackable.

      • Becky

Which insert? SS or RP? And which date? 1/3? Thanks!

        • Anne Marie

It was in a Smart Source Insert, the one with the $2.50 off Finish. It was a full 2 pages of Publix coupons. It also had a q for the the Diner’s choice mashed potatoes. It wasn’t listed in Jenny’s preview, so it may be regional.

          • DeeDee

I had the page of Publix coupons but no Finish Q!! Or the cheese one!! :(

          • Jenn

I got it too. Very nice! I probably would have passed right over it if my mom hadn’t told me about it. It was the inside 2 pages of an insert that had ADT security ad on the front and a check ad on the back.

    • Damien Barber

The new Publix Penny Item coupon makes me sad because it is actually IN THE PAPER. I can take whatever coupons I want from inserts in the paper from the law school, but I cannot cut a coupon out of the paper itself… I was hoping they were going to post the regular flyer the penny item coupon normally comes in only doing it in Wednesday’s Paper rather than Sundays.

      • Amy

A cashier told me that the penny Q would be in the sales flyer?? Not true?

        • Traci M.

We’ll see when the sales flyer hits the mailbox today ! Let’s just hope Publix keeps it consistent and does the same thing every week (putting the mystery coupon in the same place…….)

          • suellen

it wasn’t in the sales flyer that I received last night….. ;(
            or in the paper

            • Traci M.

Oh, No…..not a good start to the ‘new’ way of doing mystery coupons……….hopefully they will have some available for you at the customer serice desk !!!!!

        • Angel in Charleston

I called my Publix because I couldn’t find the penny coupon in the weekly sales flyer. It was on page A-3 of the Charleston Post & Courier today. Strange!

          • Vicki

I don’t get the T/W/Th papers so I am not happy with the change. :-(

      • jennifer

I hate the new way. If I go buy a paper for the penny item coupon, it is suddenly not a penny item anymore….not worth it!

        • JC

Make sure to call the particular Publix you frequent. I called mine this morning and they said the coupon was not in Wednesday’s paper or the flyer this week but that it would only be in the Wednesday paper in the future. When I said that’s too bad I only get the Sunday paper the customer service rep said to go to the customer service desk and they would give me a coupon. The coupon would be required though to get the deal.

        • JC

There was a Propel water 6-pack (500ml) printable on Target’s website a week or two ago. I was only able to print out one and it expires on 1/13.

      • samantha

You take coupons out of the newspapers in the law school? haha thats funny….and ironic

    • Judy

What zip code did you use for the Dignorno Flat Breads?

      • Lynn

Yes, i’d like to know also….

      • Megan

I’ve been trying for about 10 minutes. I can’t find it.

      • I get them under 36093

        • Dawn

I tried that zip code, still can’t get the Digiorno coupon….

          • Jamie

            Try 30144, worked for me!

            • Weslie

just worked for me too! thanks!!!

      • Erin

I have a ton of the $1 off digiorno 200 cal pizza coupons but the sale for my area was not was is listed here. I was totally bummed!! I’m in the Nashville, TN area, and the digiorno sale is 4/$10.

        • joy

Same here in the Atlanta area. I didn’t notice the different price, and wondered why my bill was higher than expected. I thought I was going to pay .25 per pizza, but instead I paid 1.50. Big difference since I bought ten of them!

    • Emily

There is also an in-ad coupon for Huggies…$3 off one box of diapers (which includes pull-ups packages 33-44 ct.)

      • Lizabeth

Thanks for that info emily that just made my morning :)

      • Alyssa

The coupon states that it is also good for $3 off Goodnites, 21-27ct. Goodnites are 15.99 at my Publix. I used the $3 in ad coupon with a $1 printable manufacturer coupon that I got for registering on the Goodnites website. These rarely have coupons, so I was glad to get a big pack for less than $12!!

    • Melissa

Did anyone find the coupon for the DiGiorno For One Pizza or Flatbread Melts? What zip code do I use?

      • The Digiorno for One 200 Calorie is a blinkie in store. The Flatbread Melts are under 36093.

        • Melissa

          Thanks!

    • kat

hey girl you need some sleep…the betty crocker muffin mix is only 50 cents after the coupon :)

    • CouponNERD

      ***PENNY ITEM ALERT***

Just called two locations in Columbia and the penny item is reported to be Publix brand Tortilla Chips!

    • AmyG

There are a few Target coupons that can be stacked.

      1.)$1.00 of Lean Cuisine
      2.) $1.00 Kelloggs

Thanks for all you do Jenny!

      • Becky

And I believe there still is the $5/4 kelloggs at the target site too. (Manf. q).

        • Traci

The $5.00/4 Kelloggs Coupon (on Target Website) is gone. Disappeared. Cannot find it. Bummer.

          • Jessica

I just printed the $5/4 Kellogg’s coupon a few minutes ago. It worked for me.

            • Sheila

Do you have to use a specific zip code and if so which one? Thanks

      • holly

There is also a $1 off of glad trash bags that is a target Q.

    • Megan

Does the Johnson’s Beauty for all Ages rebate have to be on one receipt? It doesn’t say that specifically on the form, but it does say to send your “receipt” (singular). I think I could do pretty well with this if I can split it up between different stores throughout the month, but I’m not going to buy $30 of this stuff from one ad and with one set of coupons.

      • marie

Did you find out about this yet? I was going to try to find a phone number to call for more info. Sometimes with these rebates there is a number you can call. I wanted to do two stores too. Btwn Publix(Aveneno Baby) and Walgreens.

    • Glad I got 2 things of strawberries yesterday for $1.97! :-p

Just printed the Stonyfield coupon yesterday, so it will be .50 for 3 cups! :-)

    • Tabetha

For the B1G1 Juicy Juice can you use the $1/2 manufacturer w/Target logo and 2 $1 Target store coupon? If so that would make it .65 for 3 of them.

      • Becky

If your store takes Target as a competitor, than yes!! Isn’t Publix awesome! (Happy feet)

      • michele

My publix will take target coupons BUT the cashier the time I did this said only ONE competitor coupon for like items, I was buying the swiss miss cocoa Bogo, with 2 target $1Q and she would only accept one of the q’s.
This was at the Ooletewah store.

      • Tabetha

Opps I meant .65 for two of them.

      • michele

Okay, I went to Publix tonight, intending to try to split up my JJ transactions in order to use 3 target coupons, however, the manager said no, one only, I am asusming that I could have pushed the issue by checking out and then going back in and standing in line again, but Publix is so good about taking q’s I am just happy they had the bogo, and let me use 1 target q, and I had 2 JJ Q’s. I am new at this so every trip is a learning experience.

    • mary

Is there a trick to the giGiorno flatbread coupon? I’ve utilized the zip code stated above and hit foods. tks,

      • I printed some Monday. I don’t see them on there anymore though…

        • Rebecca

I found the Digiorno Q under 36093 as well (and just now). They’re not gone. Maybe those of you who can’t find it have already printed it some time ago and just forgot? Try another computer if you have access to one. Or, maybe it was temporarily not available and now it is. At any rate…got mine! Best of luck to you all as well!

          • I am now finding it at 30144 – 2 printed. I could not find it at the other zip for some reason. Just an FYI if anyone hasn’t tried this zip!

      • Erinn

Hey Mary… just printed them 5 minutes ago from my zip code 30620

    • Joye

Also, there is a Walgreen’s book out that has a $2 off Phazyme coupon in it as well as lots of other health and beauty.

    • Lizabeth

Does anyone know if the Publix in Ooltewah TN has a limit on how many competitor coupons you can use per transaction?

      • Cheri

I just know that you can only use one competitor coupon per item (you can’t buy 2 juicy juices and use 2 target coupons). Hope that answers your question.

    • Judy

I can’t find the $1.00 off coupons for Johnson’s first aid in RP 1/3. Is it regional? I live in COlumbia,SC.

      • Lana

The Greenville SC did not get the first aid or band-aid coupons either. Bummer.

      • CouponNERD

        Judy –
I get the State paper and don’t have the Johnson’s q’s either.Must be in the Charlotte paper….

      • Sharon

I couldn’t find it either in the SW florida newspaper inserts either. Still, if it only costs $1.49 then the publix $2 off coupon covers it with overage! Gotta love publix!

        • Misty

The $1.49 sale for J&J First Aid kit did not show up in my sale ad anywhere, but I was gonna try the deal anyway, so I went to the store twice and looked everywhere and could not find them. Finally I talked to a manager, and he looked everywhere then they got the GM and he looked everywhere, and they were nowhere to be found, so they are special ordering them, which is great and wonderful but if they are more than $1.50 or $2 then the deal won’t be great for me.

          Not sure what to do…

      • Elizabeth

Actually, I couldn’t find a Johnson’s first aid kit for $1.49. The only one my Publix had was for $12.49. Hmmmm…

        • Yolanda

I couldn’t find the kit either. Columbia Publix store

        • DanaWeed

The $1.49 kit is the travel size one. It was not with the other kits but with the travel size stuff alongside the pharmacy wall of my Publix. The coupon says “any J & J kit” which I had to point out when my cashier questioned it.

    • Mandy

In the new issue of Weight Watchers there are lots of coupons –
1.00 off Jello works with this sale

    • Anybody else having trouble finding the DiGiorno coupons? I am using 36093 but do not see it? Would really love to send a few of these with my hubby to work this week.

      • LD

I have not been able to find it either . I tried lots of zips and googled it lol after about 30 min. I gave up .

        • dawn

I am in Tampa and we had a $1 q for the Digiorno 200 calorie pizzas in one of the inserts. (Sorry, I cut it out and can’t remember which one!)

      • Debbie

        Try zip 29073

        • 30144 worked this afternoon and tonight for my friend.

    • Ashley

4 ritz bits, 3 olay face wash, 4 marie callendar, 3 peter pan peanut butter, 3 huntz ketchup, 4 lbs of chicken breast, 3 benevia, 4 digornio, 6 sundown vitamins, 2 midol, 1 betty crocker potatoes, and penny item torilla chips for $26!!! yeah!

      • Ashley

        Saved $89!

        • Amy

          AWESOME!!!!

          • Traci M.

            Great Job !!!

            • Susie

Don’t forget there’s also the Nabisco $20 rebate (1/1/10-6/30/10) if you have the booklet. The Ritz Bits would be a good item to count towards this rebate!

            • Sharon

Where do you get the $20 rebate for Nabisco? Would love to try to do that!

            • Susie

It was in a coupon book you could order from the Nabisco website a couple months ago. I think it was a Back to School promotion, so I think it’s gone now. :(

            • Rhonda

There is also a rebate “Keep The Jingle In Your Holiday”. Buy 10 participating items(Ritz are included) and receive $10. (12-1-09 thru 1-31-10)
Go here http://www.nabiscoworld.com/Promotions/default.aspx to print the rebate form

    • Stephanie

Is the general mills deal over (making the cereal 1.50 ea)?

      • CouponNERD

Yes, that cereal deal for the big boxes ended yesterday.

    • Carrie

The Sudafed coupon linked is only showing 4 dollars off. They must’ve changed it already because I remember seeing the $5 off coupon a day or so ago.

      • hsv mom

Try zip 08822. Got mine last night using it.

        • Carrie

Okay you are just lovely for sharing that zip! And yes the $5 was there under your zip that you supplied.

    • Sarah

-$1 off Huggies Baby Wipes SS 1/3 (Target Coupon)

I’m not finding this anywhere. I’ve gone through all my SS 1/3 coupons three times over and cannot locate this Huggies coupon. Am I alone on this?

      • Kendra

Ditto! Any help on finding coupons for Huggies wipes would be wonderful! I get the St. Petersburg Times, if that helps. Thanks!

      • Amanda

Now that Jenny has updated the grocery coupons – if your store accepts the Food Lion – you can get at least 50cents off a pack of wipes. Better than nothing.

    • keb2009

does it matter that the aleve coupon is for aleve-d which is for sinus and cold or will it still work with the regular aleve?

also am i the only one who can NEVER find any tearpads for things like chips!?

      • Sarah

No, you’re not the only one- I was just thinking about that this morning while making my list. Our store usually never has the tear pads.

      • jennifer

i hardly ever find the booklets or tear pads. i did find one last week for the baked lays though!

      • Debbie

aleve-d is not part of the sale.

    • Jen M

Just wanted to let the Daniel Island Publix shoppers know that they NO longer will take Target coupons. Only direct grocery store competitors.

      • Amie

Same thing with the one in Irmo, SC.

      • tabitha

Target in Greenville SC no longer takes Target coupons :(

      • It is also hit or miss at Publix in the Helena, Pelham and Alabaster, AL area for what and who in the Q’s they will take. As far as finding all the special coupon books, tearpads, etc., some are located at the SD, turnstile, or I have found some near the Out of Area paper cabinet. I have also asked the SD personnel and they haven’t put out yet or the vendor rep hasn’t brought it.

      • Joy

Publix in Simpsonville, SC no longer takes Target coupons either.

      • janet

Columbia, SC doesn’t accept Target either.. on Forest Dr

    • Dana

How can you use 2 Manf on the Aleve?

      • Dana

DUH!! NM cuz I’m buying 2 to use the other coupon….its too early!

    • Melissa

I couldn’t find DiGiorno For One Pizza or Flatbread Melts under 36093 :-( Maybe I keep overlooking it. What page is it under, or is there another zip?

      • Michelle

I couldn’t find the DiGiorno Flatbread coupon under 36093 either. Is it possibly gone? Has anyone found it under another zip code?

        • I searched under several different zip codes but no luck. It must be gone.

          • Debbie

try 29073-however they are on sale 4/10 making them 2.50 a piece, with coupon 1.50-still a good deal :)

        • Linda

I just saw in the Publix ad that the DiGiorno Flatbread Melts are 4 for $10. So, you’re not missing out on much because they will still be $1.50 even with the $1 coupon. They are very yummy, though.

        • 30144 worked tonight

      • I just printed it today, following the SS link with whatever zip popped up.

    • Jen

I just saw that all these “in-ad” coupons are printable from the Publix Weekly Ad on their website, except for the penny item. Glad I don’t have to buy a paper now!

    • gina

I am having major trouble getting target coupons to print. It says I installed it successfully but they still won’t print. Anyone know what to do?

      • Anne Marie

I can’t get them to print on my computer using Internet Explorer, so I have to use Mozilla Firefox. Try that and see if it works.

      • Sarah

I had that problem to. It had to do with my popup blocker. Finally figured it out.

    • Addie

Anyone know a zip code for the egg beaters coupon?

      • Sarah

        That’s strange.

It just comes up on my computer along with two other coupons… there isn’t a zip code prompt on my screen.

      • Amanda

I did find an instore dispenser with $1.00 off ANY variety of egg beaters. This is better than the one online as it is “seasoned” varieties only. so now I can get egg whites!

    • kim

Does anyone know if the Special K cereal BOGO deal includes granola? There is a $1.00 Target printable for it.

      • sarah

Kim, I don’t know if you have gotten an answer to your question yet, but at my Publix (Summerville, SC), the Special K is B1G1 @ $3.99 and the special k granola is 2/$3.99. Ends up being the same price and a better deal with the $1 off coupon!

      • Megan A.

The granola is included in the BOGO sale. I used a free granola wyb cereal coupon to get them both free (I’m in FL) plus Target coupons for .50 off the cereal and 1.00 off the granola. I’m not a huge fan of the cereal, but the granola’s not bad. Too sweet, of course.

    • If you add two Ritz to Jenny’s scenario above with the tacos, cheese and sour cream – you can use the BiLo in ad coupon for $1.50 off. You get 2 taco kits, 2 cheese, 2 sour cream and 2 Ritz for $8.83 (around $1.03 each).

      • Lana

There is also a $2/2 nabisco craker printable to take 2 more dollars off! Look under Jenny’s post-Hot New Nabisco Printable.

        • Yeah, sorry! I didn’t include that in my original post but meant to! Thanks!

          • Lizabeth

are ritz crackers on sale this week?

            • Sandy

The Ritz bitz are on BOGO this week. With the $2/2 coupon you get two boxes for .99. The coupon is for any Ritz cracker product so the cashier took it for me.

            • seacoastmom

Is this in the ad above????? I looked but didn’t see it. Oh, Ritz Bitz cheese & Dr. Pepper(Bought last week)….O Happy Day. Happy, HAPPY day!

Even with all the additives (sp?) these are my super fave!!

        • Rhonda

You can also use the Ritz Crakers towards the “Keep The Jingle In Your Holiday” rebate. Buy 10 (Nabisco crackers, Planters Nuts or Easy Cheese)and send in for $10 rebate. The rebate is for 12-1-09 thru 1-31-10. http://www.Nabiscoworld.com(rebate details)

          • I’m trying to print the rebate form, and it keeps telling me “Page Not Found.” Is this promotion over?

            • Michele

I am having the same problem. :(

      • Kristy

Will publix let you use a store coupon with a bi-lo coupon?

    • Also keep a lookout for Target home mailers if you Publix accepts the coupons! Just got one yesterday with coupons for their “Great Save Event” – There’s a $1 off coupon for Glad Trash Bags!

    • Charmaine

I am so mad about the penny item right now. So basically, I have to read through the ad, plan my list, gather all my coupons, go BUY a different paper (even though the weekly sales flyer already showed up at my house in our weekly city paper without a coupon), and then take my two small children to Publix on a Wed. just to save a couple of bucks on a store brand bag of chips? I love Publix, but this does not fit their usual kind of service.

      • Michelle

Amen to that! I always get out on Sunday afternoons when my husband is home with the kids. There’s no way that I’m taking my four little ones to Publix on Thursdays (when our sale starts) just for the penny item! I hope they see that this change isn’t good and revert to the previous system.

        • Joye

I’m with you! Our Wednesday paper doesn’t have coupons, just ads, so it will actually be a .51 cent item. Since we don’t subscribe, it’s just one more thing to remember to do in the middle of the week…:(

          • Joye

I mean…,51 cent item since you have to buy an extra paper. (Brain moving too slowly-LOL!)

      • Shannon in ATL

Don’t mean to be ugly but you said…

“So basically, I have to read through the ad, plan my list, gather all my coupons, go BUY a different paper”

No you don’t HAVE to do any of that, if you CHOOSE to take advantage of a very gracious offer when many companies are cutting back than by all means go for it. Let’s not look a gift horse in the mouth. JMO

        • tonya

Amen to that. Most of you are getting a lot of groceries for not much money. I think you (and I) should be happy that most of the Publix still take competitor coupons and still do great B1G1 deals and allow lots of things most other stores don’t do. WE should all be very appreciative for what they DO for us.

        • Libby

I see what you’re saying. I for one will most likely not be participating in the penny item anymore. At least not on a weekly basis. But I am really bummed about it. It was fun to try out new things and the store brand for just a penny. And it does defeat the purpose of a penny item if you have to buy a paper only for that. I don’t even have the option to subscribe to a paper that carries the Publix ad. I wish that they would take away the coupon and just have the stipulation that you have to spend $10 before coupons.

      • Amy

I just spoke with Cust Serv at Publix and they DO NOT require you to have the Q from the paper! It is IN THE STORE AD INSIDE THE STORE .. according to Murray Landing store! HTH

      • Alisha

Because mark my words, the company is eventually going to get rid of that penny item. They’re phasing it out as we speak.

Publix doesnt have to offer a penny item you know, especially when the item is at company expense.

      • Elizabeth

You may not need the coupon if your store works like mine. I forgot my penny item coupon once, and they said not to worry about it. They said if you ever leave it at home, all you have to do generally is ask the cashier and they will give it to you anyway. Sometimes, mine even offers it without me even asking. Try it next time.

    • ziggy34434

Has anyone done the regenerist rebate. I would like to know if it pays overage, or if it only pays up to the purchase price. The rebate form isn’t really clear.

      • Natalie

I sent it off, haven’t got it back, but from reading it over it states a $15 rebate- so I believe they will refund $15.

    • Wouldn’t the best coupon to use on the kibbles n bits be the 2.00 off 16lbs or larger? that expires 1/31/10?

    • Rebecca

FYI – The Stoneyfield Farms organics Qs are only good for 10 days. I was going to print the whole list until I saw that they come out like that. Now I’ve hit cancel so many times on my printer that it’s driving me CRAZY! Also, they come out 2 to a sheet (centered), which is a bit of a waste of paper, in my humble opinion. It’s fine, though, I’m HAPPY to have the Qs that I got! I just wanted to let you all know for planning purposes. Happy shopping!

      • You’d think an organic company would be more interested in saving trees!

I use Hot coupon world to print my Target coupons b/c they let me print multiple on a page.

    • Stephanie

The green advantage flyer I have at home is the holidays one that expires Dec 24. Is there a new one out that I just don’t know about? Or can I use the expired store coupons still?

      Thanks :)

      • sara

        There is a new one!!

        • Erin

          Where can they be found?

          • Chloe

There’s usually a display near the entrance. If you don’t see one check with customer service.

      • Chloe

Yes there is a new one. It’s called “Make a Healthy Start in 2010” or something like that. It has lots of vitamin, OTC medicines & first aid coupons. Check with you local Publix.

      • Cassia

        There’s a new one. :)

      • janet

hey, the new one is the yellow advantage flyer… lots of medicine q’s in it.

        • janet

          oops i meant green.. :-)

    • Carla

I need help. When the deal is BOGO and then I have a coupon for
B2G1 Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Do I need to get 4 jars of Peanut Butter or 3? If you can, would you please show me the math? I am having a tough time with this. :)

      Thanks!

      • Sandy

Because Publix does not require you buy 2 for BOGO, you only need to buy three. At my Publix, the peanut butter rang up for $1.18 each or 2/$2.35.With the B2G1 coupon, you can get all three for $2.35. They will each ring up for $1.18 and the coupon will take off $1.18 for the free one.

      • DeeDee

You would get 3. The store is giving you one for free and the coupon is giving you one for free. You pay for one. RIGHT???

      • Aymie

If you live in FL, you would get 4. You would only pay for one, the coupon pays for the second one you would “pay” for, and then the bogo deals pay for the other two.

        • Linda

Actually, you would get five if you live in Florida. The sale is buy one, get one – You actually have to purchase two in order to get the third free with the coupon. So it would look like this:

Buy one – get one free
Buy second one – get one free
Get the fifth one free with the coupon (Buy 2 get 1 out of the All You magazine)

I am so glad that I live in Georgia where I don’t have to think about the buy one get one offers! I absolutely love the half off strategy!

          • Megan

You’ll get four in FL. All of the stores around here consider a mfg Q for a free item as payment for the “buy one” part of a BOGO deal. Then they give you one free. The manufacturer sees a BOGO deal as you purchasing two items. For this transaction, you’ll “purchase” two jars (paying $2.35 for #1 and $0 for #2), then the Q will pay $2.35 for #3. The store, then, will give you #4 for $0.

            • Jessica

i bought 3 on bogo, used the buy2 get 1 free coupon and combined it with the $1/1 coupon from dec all you mag. Is this correct or did i do something wrong?

            • Ashley

The $1/1 coupon from December is only for 24 oz jar. Not 16.3!

          • Aymie

You would only buy four. No need to buy an extra jar for nothing. You would buy one, get one free. The coupon would pay for the third one, and the fourth one’s automatically free.

    • Has anyone found the $1 coupon off Velveeta??

    • sara

I believe I saw a printable for the Truvia on coupons.com in case anyone is interested.

      • Amanda

If you still have your All the trimmings booklet there was a Trivia coupon on the back that didn’t expire until March!!

    • Erin

Are the green advantage buy coupons actual coupons? If so, where can I find them?

      • Weslie

yes, ask customer service the next time your in if they have the new green advantage flyer or you can check at the front of your store, the coupons are in there.

The flyer also came in our paper (AJC) on Sunday with the rest of the inserts.

    • Michelle Z

FYI there was a blinkie in my Publix last week for $1/1 Eggbeaters last week – got a bunch and now i am so glad i did!

    • Emily

Anyone find the penny item coupon in the Birmingham News?

      • Vicki

I can’t find it either… any luck? I don’t mind this new day for the penny item but it’s off to a bad start.

        • sara

          4A

          • Vicki

THANKS SARA!! I think I looked through each section twice but that one!!

          • Brianna

            Thanks so much Sara!

    • Roz

There are a bunch of coupons on the Pillsbury website.
$1/1 Biscuits and also $1/2 cookies and a few others! exp. 2/4/10

      • Roz

Ok now it’s showing $1/2 for the biscuits. I printed one yesterday for $1/1 so I’m not sure why it’s $1/2 now. :(

    • Emily

Penny Item coupon isn’t required to purchase the penny item at the SPARTANBURG, SC store on EAST MAIN STREET.

    • If you use the B2G1 free Q for Ketchup(All You), and Publix is doing B1G1 don’t you actually Buy 1 and get 3 free? Also can I use $1.00 coupon for the first one I am buying too, making it only $.75 for all 4? Please explein this to me. Thanks

      • meg

Publix doesn’t have a true B1/G1 sale – these items are actually marked to half price. So you will be charged half price for the two you buy, and can get one more free with that coupon. You should be able to use two manufacturers coupons along with the B2/G1 coupon – just make sure you have more items than coupons when you check out!
        Happy shopping!

        • Erin

Depends on where you live. Publix in FL is a true BOGO — one rings up full price, the other as $0. However, even in FL, I have never had a problem using one manu Q for each item on BOGOs.

        • Aymie

In FL, we have true bogos so Robin is right.

      • Aymie

If you live in FL, then yes you will only be paying for one and getting three free. As for the other coupon, that might be up to your individual store.

        • meg

Sorry – should have said here in Georgia!

    • Jennifer

Target Home mailer w/ baby coupons has a $1 off Aveeno baby product as well as $1 off Johnson’s baby product that can be stacked!

    • Carrie

This is actually a re-post since I posted on Bi-Lo’s ad page accidentally. Not even a month into the new year…

Okay, after reading yesterday’s post on how to use coupons and not rob stores of their reimbursements in regards to misuse of coupons or fraud, I was very cautious at my morning trip to Publix.
I did not end up using the $5 Sudafed coupon for the deal since the coupon specified 36 ct. Triple Action Sudafed (behind Pharmacy counter at $14.99) and Publix has the Sudafed Triple Action PE 24 ct. on sale for something like $6.99 so I didn’t get it since the count didn’t match coupon specifications. Was about to do the First Aid Tape and I also noticed the Publix coupon states you must buy 2 of J&J items if buying tape or gauze. But since the Tape was priced at 1.79, there was still overage for buying 2 and using 2 man. + 1 store coupon.

All in all a good trip. ($3.22 OOP) Still came home with 2 egg beaters, 2 Bumble Bee pouch tuna’s, 2 J&J tapes as well as 2 cool whips. Lunch is tuna salad today so that worked out nicely.

Thank you Jenny for your list, I enjoy having this opportunity to plan out my excursions to the stores and save money while doing it.

      • Michelle

Well, I was able to use the $5 coupon but it was a HASSLE. I didn’t mind having to give my drivers license and all that, but I didn’t realize I would have to check out there in the pharmacy. So I went and got a few things (2 First Aid Kits, 2 Vitamin D Sundown Naturals and some Dawn Direct Foam). I had store coupons for everything except the Dawn and manufacturer coupons for everything. So the lady ringing me up didn’t know you could stack store and manu coupons together. Then, it she kept needed an override because I had more coupons than items. The pharmacist was totally giving me attitude about it. Then when she input my $5.00 coupon and my total was only $2.28 she called customer service and said she wanted them to go over everything so they wouldn’t get in trouble. That is totally fine, but they made me wait (with a baby who started crying) for like ten minutes and a line was forming behind me (which made me feel bad). Of course everything checked out and I don’t mind peole not wanting to get in trouble, BUT I could do without the attitude. She even said “I don’t have time for this.” It isn’t my fault that I had to check out there…and if I had known beforehand I likely would have changed my shopping scenario. Still worth it in the end!

    • Kendra

GREAT NEWS! Check your junk mail very carefully! Yesterday I was looking through mine and I found a sneak peak for Publix 1/7-1/13 ad (my area starts on Thursdays). In this sneak peak they included a $5 off $50 purchase! Glad I didn’t toss it out! Hope everyone finds this coupon.

      • Rebecca

Thanks for the tip. You probably just saved me 5 bucks (if I get junk mail today)! YIPPEE

      • Wendy

I got one too – in the Tampa Bay area

        • Kendra

I live in the Tampa Bay area too!

          • dawn

I am in Tampa Bay area, too. I was so shocked to find that coupon! It was odd to have a Publix ad in my junk mail, but I am so glad I glanced through it! Maybe they feel bad for us Floridians since we don’t get penny items or double coupons! I would like to see this every week!! Yea Publix!

    • AmyG

Peter Pan coupon wasn’t in my Jan All You it’s in Nov.. i’m in Birmingham, ALl.. it was for .50 off of 1

      • Dianna

That coupon is only for the 28oz or larger, so it won’t work for this sale.

      • Michele

Yes, it is. I am in the B’ham area, too, and I got an All You at the checkout. It is in the back of the mag on hard stock paper insert. HTH!

    • Kathy

Was the Atkins Shake coupon in Smart Source for The State Newspaper? I can’t find it.

    • sara

There is a $1 off Special K Bars on Target site. They are target coupons. You could stack 2 of those with a $1 off 2 man to make them .10 a box!!!

      • lena

I have a question. I’m learning I have only been couponing for about 2 months. I realy d’ont have any one to ask so can someone please help. I read all the blogs just to learn. This alot of info to take in. Thanks in advance. My question is on the target web coupons for special k bars.I went to print one I need two, however when i went to print the second one they were gone. In just a few seconds. It being a web not a manq would I be able to copy this one? THANKS

        • Becky

You should be able to print two off the Target website, try refreshing your screen to see if it is there. Stores will not take copies or scanned coupons.

    • Amanda

There is a $1 off bumble bee tuna if you go to their website and sign up!

      • Kristy

        Thanks!!!

      • Adele

Coupon is for $1/5 Bumble Bee products. Expires in April.

    • Dawn

Just shopped at Pulbix in Summerville, South Carolina. They are NOT accepting the $10 off $30 World Market coupon. Is this going to be permanent…does anyone know?

      • Joye

They took them in North Charleston on Ashley Phosphate/Dorchester Road intersection…but they are getting more selective. On World Market coupons, they are only taking it if you have NO other coupons of any kind, including manufacturer’s. AND it has to be a separate day from using any competitor’s coupons. Only good if you want to get meat, produce, or stuff you really need but don’t have coupon for. They also are not letting you split your orders up and use $5 off competitor’s coupons on each order-just the one.

        • Amanda

Goose Creek took mine on Monday but would only give me $5.00 instead of $10.00.
My husband found out from the Publix’s in West Ashley starting Feb. 1 they will not be accepting any coupons from World Market.

      • lynn

my store in Prattville, Alabama does not take World Market either.

      • Christy

Dawn, is this the Trolley Rd. Publix? They have taken my World Markets in the past and I was excited about the WM coupon in my mailbox this morning. I always thought it was a bit odd that they took them anyway because I personally would not have considered them a competitor? but I took advantage of the deals!

        • Priscilla

I used one in Knightsville but was told they would not take them anymore but the one on Trolley Road does take them.

      • Amy – Brentwood, TN

I went to the Publix in Brentwood TN (Maryland Farms) who is known to take all coupons and they no longer take the World Market coupons!! Total Bummer…hopefully they still will take CVS!?!

    • I made my print selections, read through the comments to make sure there weren’t any links I needed to follow, made a couple of replies and now my selections have been cleared! Confirmed with print preview! My daughter has 4 appointments today and I have to to go shopping tonight thanks to the new penny item rules. Rats!

    • sara

Target website also has a Target store coupon for $1 off Lean Cuisine Frozen meal. If your Publix takes Target coupons, stack with manuf coupon for an even better deal!!

    • Leah

Perdue.com has a $1 off Q for the short cuts chicken, makes it $2. Those are perfect for take to work salads!

    • Aymie

      Jenny
If the Digiorno’s are 4 for $10, doesnt that make them $2.50 each, not $1.25 each??

      • Debbie

You are right. just went to publix.

    • Jennie

I have the Green Advantage Buy that expires on 1/29 but it doesn’t have the Sundown vitamins coupon in it. Anyone else have this problem?

      • Debbie

it’s there-the middle page-5th coupon on the right side.

      • Michelle

I had to look through mine twice as it didn’t jump right out at me. but it was on the insert. It is a two page flyer with one loose page in the middle. It is in between the Alka Seltzer and Tracfone coupone.

      • Jennie

Thanks!!!!! I looked and looked at it and didn’t see it. I just kept seeing Fish Oil. I’m so glad it is there. What a deal for vitamins!!!!

    • Dianna

Jenny, the Betty Crocker Muffin Mix is $1.29 at BOGO, so with the .$40 coupon, it is $.49. Hope you got to sleep in after your late night!

    • Gail

First of all, thank you for all your hard work. Your article in Sunday’s paper was nice. I just wanted to point out that the Publix stores in Columbia do not accept Target coupons. It keeps biting me! I talked to the store manager at the store on #6 and she confirmed. This store also did not have any of the vendor coupons or tear offs. I still saved almost exactly what I spend so the trip was worthwile. Thanks again.

    • Deb

The penny item is certainly inconvenient, but I think a lot of people are forgetting something: Publix is a business. They probably did this because they were losing money. They are not here to give us free groceries, they’re here to make money. I’m just glad they are so much nicer than everyone else while they do it.

I’m lucky – I don’t have kids to worry about, so going on my way home around 7 PM on Wednesdays won’t be too much of a hardship. But the last thing I’ll ever do is complain about the fact that they have a penny product.

      • sara

With the snow coming tomorrow here, the grocery will probably be packed tonight…dilema…to go, or not to go for the Penny Item. Hhhmmmm.

      • Daisy25

        Deb–

I agree with you! Publix is the only store I know that offers their customers a practically free item (and a nice item at that!) every single week just for spending $10.

Can’t get much better than that!

    • Natalie

The link to the special k bars isn’t working for me. Anyone else have problems or know where to find it? Not in my paper from 1/3 either.

      • Roz

I had 2 of that weeks RP booklets so double check and see if you have 2 as well. I found the coupon in 1 of those!

    • kim r

Anyone found the penny item in the Chattanooga Times Free Press?

    • Michele

Does anyone know if you can use a target store coupon at Publix with a manufactured coupon? Or can you only use PUblix store coupons with Manufactured coupons? I live near Tampa, Fl.

      • sara

Depends on if your Publix accepts Target coupons as a competior. Mine does, so I stack Target coupons with Manufacturer coupons all the time!

      • Deb

All of the ones around me stopped taking them months ago – but I’m in Alabama, and Florida frequently has different rules.

        • sara

I am in B’ham area and mine takes Target Q’s. I know the new one in McCalla takes Target Q’s.

          • Deb

Which one do you go to? I’ve tried Helena, Pelham & Alabaster – and since I work down there, I even tried the one in Prattville!

            • Carla

Vestavia on HWY 31 will NOT take the Target coupons either!

            • Meredith

Lee Branch on 280 takes them as well as Walgreens

            • Michele

Just shopped at the Publix in Helena today and they took all my Target coupons. Try again, maybe?

    • Elizabeth

      If you’re buying the Special K cereal, go to Target.com. There’s a $5 off 4 Kelllogg’s cereal coupon. Use zip code 32301 if your’s doesn’t work.

      Deal idea:
      Get 4 Special K cereals (7.98)
      Use $5 off AND 3 of target’s $.50/1 and Harvey’s $2/2 Kellogg’s
      Total cost: -$.52

      • Amy

How can you use 3 Target Q’s? It says 1 per transaction. Just wondering?

        • sara

My Publix does not enforce the “one per transaction”. I would almost argue that since it is a “store coupon” that the one per transaction is a Target rule and does not apply when using it as a competitor coupon at another store…but I would not argue if they began limiting it. We get such bargains with all other coupons, that I would probably feel guilty trying to argue that. :) I actually try to not use too many Target coupons if possible.

          • Tabitha

You can only use 1 competitor per item-you can’t use 2 different competitors…

            • sara

We don’t have Harvey’s or Bi-Lo here, so Target is really the only major competitor coupons I am able to use. Occassionally a Rite Aid coupon will come up, but sometimes they consider those manuf coupons because they say that even though they don’t relly have a barcode on them.

      • Natalie

I was going to do this but the way I was figuring it was to use 1 harveys $2/2 and 2 target $0.50/1 as you are only suppossed to use one competitor coupon per item. The harveys is for 2 plus 2 targets equals 4 and you are purchasing 4.

Then I had the kellogg buy special k receive the granola cereal free coupon.

      • Sheila

I used the Target $5 coupon plus the “free” granola coupon ($4.99), with .50 cents off of fruit and had 3/$1 per box – great deal this week!

    • michelle

      there is a $1 off 2 Lender’s Bagels coupon on smartsource.com

    • Tisha

Was anyone able to get the Purina cat food q? (Not the Target one) I was thinking I could stack the Target q with the other man qs, but I can’t get them to print. I was hoping to get some really cheap cat food for the stray cats we feed outside the food bank I volunteer at. Any suggestions?

      • Apryl

I can’t get it to print either. It keeps saying I already printed it, but I haven’t ever printed this coupon. I am confused.

    • Susan Leah

Just letting everyone know there is a Lender’s Bagel coupon on the Smart Source link right now for $1.00 of two, so with the Publix BOGO you get both packs for .99cents.

      • seacoastmom

Thank You!!! Just gat a freezer and we Looooooove some bagles!!

    • Heather

I’m pretty new to this, but what is the Advantage Buy Flyer, and how do you get access to them? There were a lot of coupons in the “Green” one, but I don’t know where to get it.

      Thanks!

      • Erinn

Hi Heather! The Advantage Buy Flyers are located in the kiosks at the front entrance, or you should be able to pick them up at the Customer Service Desk. There are 2: Yellow and Green. Yellow pertains to grocery items and some household items while the Green flyer plays host to personal care items. They usually contain a combination of store and manufacturer coupons! Good luck!!

      • marina

They are Publix booklets that come out every couple of weeks. They usually have them on display right when you walk in the store. If you don’t find them, ask customer service and they’ll give you some. HTH

    • Erinn

Good News! The Lysol Neutra Air coupon is for $1.00/1, not just $.50!

    • Monette

I just want to post my shopping experience today at one of the Publix’s in our town. This is the first time that they became strict about coupons. I bought 2 Juicy Juice-64 oz and 2 Johnson’s first aid items. I have 1 manuf. coupon for $2/2 and 2 competitor’s coupons for $1/1. They only took 1 manuf. and 1 competitor’s coupons for the 2 Juicy Juice. Same thing for the Johnson’s products. Unlike before, thay let me use 1 manuf. & 1 store coupons for every item that I bought; buy about 5-6 of the same product in one transaction. But not today. Thay said, only one deal per coupon per customer/limit one offer per transaction. Oh well, I saved 81%. I am still happy. Thanks a lot Jenny.

      • sue

        what town?

    • Monette

Target has a coupon for the Kellogg’s Special K bars/crisps $1/1. This and the newspaper coupon will make it $.09 or $.10 at Publix today. Enjoy!

      • sara

Did that deal today and got 4 boxes!!

    • Jana

Just got back from my weekly Publix trip and wanted to share a few things I found…
      — The first-aid kit was a little tough to find at mine. I finally found it tucked away on the wall under the pharmacy counter with the travel medications. It was worth the hunt for the $1.51 overage!
      — I found several different types of the Sun Down Naturals that were only $3.99 a bottle. For every 2 bottles you buy and use with the coupons she mentions, it will give you $1.02 overage!!!
      — Also, my Publix (Chalkville, AL), or should I say, my cashier, because we all know what a difference that can make, did not require me to have the coupon from the newspaper to get the penny item.

      • Michelle

Jana, thanks so much for the tip on the first aid kit…the only ones I saw on the shelves were 12 and 15 dollars…I am heading back out now to find those!!!

    • Theresa

Big deal…Digiorno pizza coupon $1.50 off 1 200 calorie portions pizza. I found it in the healthy wallet happier you booklet that was at CVS.

    • Astrid

There are two Target store coupons $1 off 2 Quaker cereal (one for Life and one for Oatmeal squares) printables. Exciting! We love those!

    • sara

My sister-in-law has used the one at the McCalla exit and says they are very coupon friendly and take Target. I use the one in Pelham and they have always taken my Target coupons and Rite Aid and CVS $5 off purchase coupons (only one per visit though) and the cashier I use is very coupon knowledgable and very friendly!! There is one I always avoid. But the Red-headed lady, one of the guys, and the lady with the curly hair are all very nice.

      • Meredith

Do you have any names? I currently shop at Lee Branch but might just drive there to use Rite Aid and CVS

        • sara

I will check out name tags next time I am in there. Usually so busy with making sure my 7 yr old is not riding off on one of the motorized shopping carts and making sure my coupons are right to notice. I probably should though. LOL!!

        • I shop at lee branch too and it doesn’t make much sense that they won’t take cvs or rite aid q’s, but they will take target q’s even though target is further away. I would bet that the publix on valleydale will take rite aid q’s since they’re across the street, but i’ve never asked since i dont ever go to that one.

        • sara

Bryan is my favorite cashier. He is very coupon friendly. This afternoon, the lady bagging my groceries told him they do not accept the $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupons. He told her they used to not but they do now. I also told her that the manager said as long as I got something from the pharmacy area they would take it (I got the first aid kit free). She kept shaking her head but he told her how it was. HE IS MY FAV!! He also lets me use more than 1 Target q of the same item. Bought 3 Lean Cuisines using man q along with 3 of the $1 Target q’s…same type thing with the Juicy Juice.

    • Sarah

I don’t know if someone has mentioned this already, but I wanted to point out that the Green Advantage Buy coupon for $2 off Johnson & Johnson products (like tape, gauze, pads), is actually $2 off of TWO products. So, when combined with the $1.00 mfg coupon, you will actually get 2 items for $.50 each, rather than free. Still a good deal.

      • Meredith

I did get mine free. bought 2 tapes at 1.79 and used 2 man Qs that were $1 off

      • Rhonda

I bought 1 roll of J&J tape $1.79 and 1 box(10)J&J triple thick pads $1.99. Used the $2/2 Publix coupon along with 2-$1 mfg coupons. This made free with overage.

    • Meredith

In my the free circular today there were these 3 Q’s for Bruno’s–Im in Birmingham

      With $30 purchase FREE
      Carolina meat franks
      half gallon milk
      dozed eggs-large

      • Brianna

        Thanks, I’ll check that out.

    • Dawn

Just wanted to know if anyone else was getting a hard time from their Publix? I have been shopping at the same one for years. Only been couponing for a few months. Recently, they took all the coupon inserts and put them behind the counter and you can’t find hardly any blinkies or coupon books lying around anymore. They will give you the fliers if you ask, but they don’t act like they want to. I didn’t have a ton of coupons today when I checked out. I had 16. But I swear it took me 10 mins for her to look through them. I am very honest when I coupon, and I have shopped at that one store for years. Really bothers me. They have made me feel like I’m stealing. Really considering changing stores.

      • Linda

That’s nothing compared to what I have to go through. They wouldn’t accept a competitor’s coupon from a store that is about two miles down the road from them. It made me so mad! I asked them what exactly a competitor was seeing as how it was a grocery store within the same town. They didn’t know what to say….

      • trisha

Yes had that experience @ the Five Fork Tricum store in Lilburn….. but this is funny even made the cashier laugh

The cashier was so nervous in looking over my Q which by the way was the store Q for the Benevia Pak where they gives you 4.00 and manuf coupon gives you 5.00 well the MANAGER came over loudly which made the three people behind me jump out of lane as though i was being arrested for using a store coupon lol anyway she screamed you CANT HAVE OVERAGE THE DRINKS ARE 8.99 AND YOU HAVE A TOTAL OF 9.00 IN COUPONS. Ok i said and she made the cashier delete the coupons to change the store coupon to only give me 3.99 as opposed to 4.00 all i could say was REALLY a penny in overage i didnt know i was committing a crime in getting overage for .01. she continued to scream well the cashier said my total was 7.23 so i handed her the change portion and she dropped the penny. The cashier was very nervous since the mngr was still standing there… and like she was doing me or the store a favor she told the cashier dont worry about the penny…..so I just had to say something since she was so rude to me ” oh no a penny we must find the penny we wouldnt just want to give a way a penny would we since i couldnt have a .01 overage. the cashier was laughing and few other customers too well the MANAGER was not happy.

but guess what I actually got the last laugh the drinks were 8.49 not 8.99 so you know what MS MANAGER you gave me .50 OVERAGE… LOL LOL all the way out the store.

        • Lynn

oh, man, what a hoot! I laughed myself silly over this! Thank you for the smile today!

        • sue

Trisha, you need to go to a different Publix. Like Clark Howard says, vote with your wallet. The Snellville store on 124 isn’t any better. Back in the fall, I went in there to buy 12 buttermilk pancake mixes and the cashier called the store manager over to ask him if they were allowed to sell that many. ;] Is there a Publix in Stone Mountain?

        • Kim

I shop at that Publix all the time, and usually have great service. Which manager was it? I’ve only had problems with one, so I’m guessing it’s her. I NEVER go through a line anywhere close to her. She’s rude & likes to be bossy. The cashiers don’t seem to like her, either. (Maybe early 20s, strawberry-blondish hair always pulled back in a pony tail? I don’t know her name, but I should look.) I just want to make sure, so that I know to keep my eye on her. :-) I love most of the cashiers in there. I purposely go through the lines with Sue, Luz, & a few others who are always so nice. I like the male manager–gray hair, super friendly–he’s usually there during the day. He’s never given me any problems.

      • Beth

        Dawn –
I have always used coupons, but just started doing serious couponing about a month ago. I alternate between two Publix near me, so I’m not blacklisted for using all my coupons. Today, I went to the Publix on Richard D Sailors. The cashier scrutinized all coupons that were B1G1 types from the internet as well as their Baby Club coupons. I had two small children with me, while it took him almost 10 minutes to go through my coupons. Fortunately, the youngest was sleeping, and there was no one behind me or I would have probably been very frustrated. He could have scanned the screen in front of him to see that I had bought 2 boxes of nursing pads, therefore I could use the B1G1 Baby Club coupon. Instead, he asked me if I bought each item and wanted me to fish around through the bags to produce it so that he could scan off the price instead of looking it up manually. Oy! It was still worth the time, though. $142 worth of groceries for $58!

    • Krischa Pilcher

I don’t know if anyone else posted about this because there are a lot of post and I just can’t read through them all. But you might want to check your Kroger mailer- it either came out in the paper or it came through the mail. I just can’t remember. Anyways, I have $2 off any Sundown Naturals Vitamin/Supplement product which used with the Publix Green adv. coupon would make them FREE instead of having to print the $3/2 coupon Jenny listed.
      Just thought I’d share!

      • Linda

If it is a Kroger coupon then you can use it as a competitor’s coupon and also use the other ones, giving you overage. Fun, huh?

        • Lisa

Wait, my Publix told me I could not stack a competitor with a Publix coupon. Is that incorrect?

          • melanie

            I was told the same.

          • Linda

Hopefully I’m not jinxing anything, but my Publix will allow a Publix coupon, manufacturer’s coupon, and a competitor’s coupon for the same item (Or at least they have in the past). I guess every Publix is different.

        • marina

It’s actually a manu.Q so you can only stack it with a publix coupon.

    • lynn

I found the new green advantage buy flyer in the Montgomery, AL area Publix today.

    • trisha

Great savings! I also donate anything I get on deal that would otherwise go to waste.

      • The Publix Green Flyer add for the Johnson First Aid kit is buy 2 and get 2$ off. And there are no first aid kids under 3.50$ At least not that I found. SO how is this being labeled as FREE??

      • Snppmommy

Where did you find the manuf. q’a on Bayer?

    • Kelly

How often can you print the same coupon? I tried to get the Egg Beater coupon and it said that I had already printed this coupon. Are there only so many allowed per month, quarter, year?

      • Sarah

there were egg beaters blinkie coupons on the door of the refrigerator where the egg beaters were located when I went to Publix today. they were $1 off coupons.

    • I tried to read all the comments above, but don’t have time, hopefully this hasn’t already been posted.

I found a new coupon book at Publix tonite:

“healthy wallet happier you” $10.00 in Kraft Qs

      • Sharon

        Where do you live?

        • Sarah

I got it to at the Publix on Long Hollow Pike in Goodlettsville, TN. They had a bunch of the booklets so I took 2. All of the coupons in the book are either $1 or $1.50.

        • AmyN

          Alachua, FL

    • jessica

I cannot get the $1 off coupon for the aleve, any zipcode for it on the coupon website? All it gives me is the aleve -d and the P coupon wont do aleve -d

      • Ashley

Same here… printed me the Aleve-D coupon which I can’t use.

        • Meg

Try the Aleve Website for $1.00 off coupons. They will let you print two

          • Meg

Sunday coupons 1/3 $2.00 off 40 ct Aleve

    • Jacky

went to the Huntsville Al Publix todat and the DiGiorno For One Pizza or Flatbread Melts, 5.3 to 10 oz. box, $1.25
were not this price , they were $2.50 each… (and watch out some of them are ringing at $3.97 , 1 of mine did)

      • Ashley

They are advertised as 4/$10 in the ad so I think her putting $1.25 was a miscalculation or a typo. However, when you use the $1/1, it brings them down to $1.50 each. I got a few last night to try (200 calorie).

Supposedly at Publix if an item rings up the wrong price, you get it free. That’s what one cashier told me a few weeks ago when I started shopping there. I hope you got yours free! I’d rather them ring up wrong and get them free! haha

        • Jacky

I will be takign my receipt back next week(thsi has happened several times before) ,and they have given me a full refund- plus the item.

Last week, I was chraged for 3 Glade candles but only got 2.. so I gotta deal with that also.. But no candle to keep(dang it)

They have always been courteous & fair though, so I’m not complaining.

    • Kris

Does anyone know if there is a RiteAid or CVS coupon out that I can use at Publix? It feels strange not to have any this week!

    • Priscilla

Just got back from Publix and they took a World Market 10.00 off 30.00 purchase. I love PUBLIX!!!

      • Rhonda L.

I took a World Market coupon to the Publix on Trolly Rd. in Summerville last night (I’ve used them there before); the cashier was very nice but said that they had just received an e-mail from Corporate that they weren’t allowed to take any more World Market Coupons.

    • Katfarmer

FYI, there is a new Target coupon at target.com that is for $1 off on any Purina cat chow any size as opposed to the old one which was $1.50 off on 2

    • Weslie

Kris- I commented in your thread with a link but my comment is awaiting moderation, but there is a CVS coupon available again this week on fresnobee.com you can go to iheartcvs.com they have a direct link to it, until my link gets approved. :)

      • Kris

        Thank you!!!!!

    • nikki

The Cascadian Farms granola products all have coupons on them for a free reusable shopping bag if you buy 2! So you get 2 products for $3 and get a free bag.

      • Ashley

I purchased one box of Cascadian Farms last night. Unfortunately, my box didn’t have a coupon :(. Is it a peelie?

    • I live in Fayetteville GA – my Publix doesn’t give overage anymore either.

      • Stacy

PTC doesn’t either…adjusted last week for a penny. Wondering if I should try the first aid kit…this week.

    • Stephanie

I am not able to print the Cascadian Granola manuf. coupon. I went to the site, registered and it came in email.

But, it keeps telling me to install the printer over and over.

      Anyone else have this issue?

      • Tabitha

Sometimes when I have that problem, you can change the “vg” in the address bar to “vi” and it will work for me…Worth a try!

    • Kim

okay got a ? The pedigree B1G1 in RP 1/3 is actually B2G1 where did you find the B1G1 and also it has a $1 off Pedigree Good Bites in it.

    • melanie

Each coupon site I use tonight has all items checked. I do not have time to un-check every box for the items I do not wish to purchase.
Usually, I just have to check the boxes of the items/coupons i wish to print.
Is this new or did I set my computer to automatically select all?
I cannot figure out how to fix it. Help!

    • buy one get one free here in Warner Robins. Print 2 coupons

    • Kim

I have a question regarding the SmartSource Egg Beaters coupons. I went in and tried to print two coupons. They both printed with the same barcode. The offer ID# and the pin# were different. The other day I had this problem at Publix with my Betty Crocker coupons I printed. They told me they couldn’t take them because it had the same barcode. So, just wondering if the barcode is the same but the pin and offer ID# are different if it should still be ok. Trying to be legit but hate running into problems at the store. Thanks!

      • Ashley

I had the same problem once. Point out the different pin #s to them and they should realize they are both acceptable.

      • Vicki :)

Yeah, I think all the barcodes are the same if they are the same coupon. What matters is the pin number on the left hand side.

    • Larissa

I know the Cascadian Farms product coupon is emailed, but i have not received it. What about you all?

      • Sharon

I got it very quickly. check your spam folder, maybe it went in that file.

        • Larissa

Thanks, I checked mine and still didn’t get it. Either way thanks for respounding

    • Kay Witt

      I bought two 64 oz. BOGO Juicy Juice for $3.49 – 2 $1 Target coupons – $1/2 mfg coupon at http://www.juicyjuice.com = $.49 or $.25 each.

      • sara

I bought 4 the same way!! And used the Target q for Lean Cuisine with the manufacturer q for a great deal on 3 Lean Cuisines!!

    • Lara Sue

Publix has the Centrium Multi-vitamins (100 ct with a 30 bonus) on sale for $6.99. There is a $3/1 coupon in the 1/3 ss. And a $3/2 in the green advantage buys flyer. If you buy two vitamins, use 2 $3/1 and one $3/2 you get them for $2.49 each.

    • Sarah

There is a blinkie at our Publix by the Egg Beaters for $1/1. Also, I found small, travel size first aid kits tonight (Johnson and Johnson) which were $1.47 each. The coupons I had from the paper were for $1 off one Johnsons first aid product. The coupons from the Green Advantage Flyer were for $2 off two products or off of one first aid kit. I used 4 of each coupon, got 4 of the first aid kits, and made $6.12 in the deal. That paid for my 2 non-coupon items on this trip – and the kits are the perfect size for my purse and the glove box in my car!

      • sara

The Egg Beaters blinkie at the Pelham, AL store is for the 32oz which is not the one on sale.

    • Kelli H

Does Publix accept the $5 off purchase of $25 from CVS or Rite Aid?

      • Tamara

It depends – you will have to check with your Publix. I have 3 Publix stores near me. Two of them won’t accept CVS, but they did accept the Rite Aid. The other store accepts both. If your Publix will accept CVS and Rite Aid coupons, then they will accept the $5/$25 coupon.

        • SM

My Publix accepts Rite Aid coupons but not the $5/25. I would check with the store before trying to use it.

    • Tamara

Can someone help me out? I have two questions. First – my coupon for the Aleve has to be 40-ct or higher, so it can’t be used for the $3.55 deal. Does anyone else have this problem?

Second – I printed the coupon for the $2/2 Nabisco product for the teddy grahams, graham crackers, or ritz bites. The coupon says for a Nabisco cracker product. Will this work for the teddy grahams? I guess I consider these more of a cookie, but I am hoping the coupon will work! Won’t it work for the graham crackers?

      Thanks!

      • Rhonda

Yes, you can use the $2/2 coupon for teddy grahams. Also, these are a participating product for the “Keep The Jingle In Your Holiday rebate(12/1/09 thru 1/31/10). Buy 10 products get a $10 rebate.

        • Tamara

          Thank you!

        • Ashley

I used my $2/2 on Teddy Grahams last night :). Thanks for reminding me about the rebate!

        • Steve

I don’t think the $10 rebate will work on the Teddygrahams. They are not pictured on the rebate form and the form says when you buy any 10 participating items and the TeddyGrahams are not shown as one of the 10. Plus on the box, TeddyGrahams are listed as snacks not crackers. Nice try though.

    • Nancy

Has anyone seen the penny item?

    • Leigh-Ann

Was the publix penny q in the wednesday paper or the Sunday paper? I’m confused about this new way!

    • Cindy B.

I just have a couple of rain check comments.. The rain checks from my Publix now say must be used within 30 days. Is that what everyone else has, too? I thought that rain checks weren’t supposed to expire, but I guess that is changing.

Also, often now when I request a rain check, I have to wait for them to check in the back to see if they have any more of that item. But, I have never yet had them actually find one. When I went a couple days ago, the lady at the customer service counter called some stock boy up to the counter to ask him about it. He then had to go to the back for a really long time before he finally called up to the front to say they were all out of it (which I could have told her would happen). It was at least 10 awkward minutes of just standing there (with small children in tow) waiting to hear something!

      • Jodi

I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago with the rain check. It is rather awkward, but I just made a joke about it, I also had an employee standing around with me with the cart to take the groceries out with me. I think it must be something they have just implemented because so many people where abusing the sales/coupons.

      • Vicki :)

Yep this is a fairly recent change. I have one old one and you can tell they just added a line to say they expire in 30 days. Sucks, but I can understand why they did that.

      • KK

I work at Publix, and a lot of people take advantage of rain checks, saying we are out of the items when we really aren’t. We have have to check because we are not allowed to issue rain checks for merchandise we have in stock. Sometimes, the truck has just come in within the past two hours and the stock clerks are still getting product put out.

        • Cindy B.

Thank you for explaining that! It does make sense, I guess!

      • Rm

as far as rain checks go I just have to say that I am very impressed with Publix. Every time that I go they ACTUALLY have all items in stock which just blows me away because at the other store I go to you can be sure that if it’s on sale then they are out of it and you have no choice but to get a rain check. Now there were a couple of times I didn’t see the item I wanted on the shelf but an employee was always handy and more than happy to get the items for me. So i have to say that I am very pleased with the item availability at Publix. I have only had to get 1 rain check but they gave it to me no problem. They knew that they were out of the item and had the rain checks ready at the register. Now that’s service!

The Target coupon is $1.00 off of Lean Cuisine Frozen Meal; Expires 1/30/2010. Great Coupon!!

    • I am having a very hard time finding the Johnson and Johnson First aid kit for 1.57. Where is everyone finding it?
      Thanks!

      • marina

I couldn’t find one either. The only one I found was $12.

      • Sarah

look where the travel size items are or look under the actual pharmacy counter. you may have to ask the pharmacist where they are. they are not the large first aid kits. they are the small travel first aid kits. at my publix they were $1.47 and I used the $1 q from the paper and the $2 q from the green advantage booklet. Got 4 kits and made $1.53 on each.

      • I found mine in the travel size items.

    • laura

the John Frieda Luxurious Volume shampoo & conditioner are on sale at my Publix (Macon) for $3.49. So use the $2.50 off from coupons.com for .99 GOOD shampoo & conditioner!

    • nik

if you sign up for the special k challenge on specialk.com you get a cpn for a free box of granola when you buy a box of cereal. if you buy 2 cereals with the $1/2 cpn you can get four boxes for $3.

    • Katy

I’m not sure how the Oil of Olay regenerist deal is supposed to work. The regenerist products that I saw were $19.99. The rebate is only for $15 – how does that end up being both for free??

      • On last weeks sale(yesterday in my area) the regenerist washes and facial wipes were each $6.99 -$3.00 on sale = 3.99 each – $1.00 Q = 2.99 each. My total spent was $6.00, and I get a $15.00 rebate. Look for the tubes of wash or the pack of facial wipes.

        • meg

I did the exact same deal – what a bargain!

    • Yeah! I saved $81 at Publix this morning and created a meal plan from the sales.

Use the $5.00 off 4 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal (Target coupon) on Special K cereal (B1G1) and get each box for only 70 cents!!!

      • Shannon

yes I used that the other day. Love it!

    • Amy

I never found the Nissan noodle coupon in the 11/1 SS and I had a paper from a large market and one from a small market?

    • Rochelle C

The Publix in Columbia, SC on Harbison no longer takes Target coupons. The coupons have to be from a grocery store. :(

    • Yolanda

I found a pack of coupons at the Publix pharmacy area yesterday. It included about $10 in coupons on medicines, vitamins and diabetic supplies

    • Laura

i have a bogo coupon for special k can i use it with the bogo sale?

      • Michelle

Yes, it will make 2 boxes of cereal for 1.99

    • Shannon

Jenny, I remember a little while back about you letting us know a way to fix the smartsource coupons from just printing a picture. I did it a while back and it worked..now it is doing it again. I have wasted my two printers for lenders bagels :( i remember control panel…printer faxes…and then im lost?

      • stacey

Hey, I’m not Jenny, but I did have the same problem at one time.
Click on control panel (right click)
printer right click on printer you use
        properties right click
        advanced
where it says spool to printer click on that

You just don’t want it to rpint directly to printer

Mine did that and it DROVE ME CRAZY trying to figure it out! I wanted my coupons (LOL)
        Hope this works for you
        Stacey

        • Jenna

This is basically correct, except you don’t right click as many times as you say. You should only right click one time, and that’s when clicking on the printer to open up the box that allows you to select properties. All other clicks should be normal.

    • Shannon

Has anyone been able to print the get a free box of special k granola wyb of specialk cereal?

      • mandie

Last week I was able to print the q.

      • meg

I printed one last week, too….

    • Patty

First, I love this website, as a new mom my budget needs all the help it can get.
The special K that is B1G1, I bought four, used a $5/off 4 manufacturer coupon found on the target website (same one that you are directing to for the store coupon of .50 cents off.) So 4 boxes were $2.48.
Also Peter Pan Peanut Butter, 13 or 16.3 oz., at $2.49 ($1.24)
B2G1 Peter Pan Peanut Butter January All You Mag. (makes it 82¢ ea
actually I bought 4,@ b1g1 and they are .66 each. Same goes for the Hunts ketchup buy 4 for great deal

Happy shopping and thanks so MUCH

    • Rebecca

Is there a typo on the J&J First Aid Kit? When I went to Publix yesterday, they were $12.49, not $1.49 and I couldn’t find anything for $1.49.

      • sara

They were on an end cap in my pharmacy area with all the travel first aid things.

      • Steve

Search comments above. Several people mentioned where they found them. I think some were in the travel section where ever that is and some were in the pharmacy area.

        • But the Green Flyer ad is 2$ off 2 kits, not 1!!

          • sara

One of the coupons says something like off 2 tape/product OR 1 first aid kit

    • melissa

does anyone know if you can use Rite Aid coupons that say they are MQ’s but have the rite aid logo on them at Publix? If you can… you should all watch the rite aide videos http://my.adperk.com/splash/d30b50da/index.html
sign up for a account, watch commercials and get a coupons for each commercial, get a $5 off of $20 for watching 20 points worth of videos plus lots of other awsome Q’s like clorox, oreos, Lays chips ( $1 off which would go great with the B1G1 this week) just to name a few!!

    • JEB

question…I have some boneless half pork loin that had sell by date of 1/2/10….I was thinking it was 1/8 or 1/9…is it still good to eat? Today is 1/8…

      • Heather

Unless it has been frozen, I wouldn’t eat it. My husband used to work in the meat department at a grocery store and that was his recommendation too! I hate when I accidentally let meat go bad!

    • Michele

i went to publix yesterday tampa bay area and they said they do not accept target coupons

    • Sarah

I am new to this – Do I have to buy 20 Yoplait Yogurts when they advertise 20 for $10 or can I buy less?

      • Natalie

20 for $10 really means that they are $0.50 regardless of how many you buy. They use the wording to encourage you to buy more. So if granola bars are 2 for $5 you could get 1 for $2.50 with no problem.

        • Sarah

          Thank You!

    • Natalie

My Publix in Tallahassee FL had healthy choice frozen meals advantage buy for $2.00 and you can use the healthy choice $5/5 coupon. The steamer meals are really yummy, especially for a quick lunch.

      • Kristine

I went today and Publix has the new healthy savings book out. There is a $1 off 2. I used $5 and (2)$1 and got 5 Healthy Choice Frozen meals for $3.00.

        • Danielle

Hi, where did you get the $5/5 Healthy Choice coupons that I see here? That is a great deal. Thanks so much. :)

    • Jennifer Reed

I had a really great to trip to Publix getting Freebies. Most of them weren’t even on sale: I got 11 items free, I had to grab a magazine because they were going to owe me $. Thanks for the website!

    • Shannon

is anyone finding the $1/2 Q for the special K bars. I found the 1/1 target..but Jenny has a link for $1/2. Anyone find it?

    • Natalie

You can also use zip code 20003 to get good deals at Target (coupons)

    • Heidi

I have a 20 cents off coupon for Hunts ketchup. Would make them 28 cents each! The coupon was on a Banquet frozen meal I bought a few months ago.

    • Karen

Another successful week at Publix for me in Sav. GA. I spent $42.00 and saved $204.00. I don’t know how I ever lived without couponing and Southern Savers. :) God is AWESOME!!! He is with every good thing that happens in our lives. ;)

    • Kristi

I found a $2 off Aleve coupon on http://www.hotcouponworld.com. If you print 2 and combine with the $5/2, then you can get the Aleve for $2.50 a bottle. Awesome deal!

    • I’m not a happy girl. DH was out this morning so he went to Publix for me so I wouldn’t have to drive in the snow. He bought almost $20 of extra stuff even though I reminded him not to deviate from my list and to stick to the quantities. Then, I had a bunch of coupons for Kellog’s and the cashier would not take the $5 off 4 from Target, said it was a manuf. coupon. That’s fine (I haven’t been able to verify, DH left the coupon in his car and it’s cold!), but she didn’t ask him which coupons he wanted to use out of the pile of coupons, and of course he didn’t know to tell her to take out one of the coupons for $1.50/2 or $1/2. I haven’t called the store yet, part of me doesn’t want to offend but I think she should not have been the one to decide which coupon to apply!

      • sarah

the 5/4 coupon was a manufacturer coupon- you were right. Maybe calling your store to let them know how much hassle there was would encourage the management to better train that cashier?

    • martha

The coupon that I found in Target.com for juicy juice is Target web coupon but not manufact. It is only for certain zip codes?

      • I only had manufacturer’s as well – I gave them to the DH in the post above and told him to just get one juice if they would not take both and was surprised that they took both. Made the juice 50 cents a bottle!

    • lisa

There is a Del Monte $1/4 printable that includes the fruit cups here:

The Sundown Vitamins are great for overage if your store allows. Used 1 publix cpn $6 off 2 + a $3 off 2 mq. purchased vit a $3.29 and B Complex $3.99= $7.28 with $1.72 overage. Used the overage on 1 pk Publix boneless skinless chicken $2.55 Total= $9.83 after cpns pd $.83! Did this deal twice, plan to do again!

    • Kim Kmiec

At my local Publix store in Nashville, TN, I tried to use a Target coupon and the clerk told me that they didn’t honor those anymore. She said Publix only honored actual grocery store coupons.

    • stacey

Has anyone had problems at the Publix in Montgomery, Dalraida store.
I went yesterday, and it was AWFUL. I usually shop at the one in Prattville. The little girl checking me out would not take over half my coupons, saying I could only use 1 per item. I had the Juciy Juice Target coupon and the man. coupon I bought 2 jucies, $1/1 Target (2)
      $1/2 Man (1)
She would only take 1 Target coupon and would not take my manufacuter coupon
Then on the peanut butter she would not take my all you coupon
I asked for a manager and she was awful also, she even had to ask a BAGGER if they would take a certain coupon! As I was about to lose my patience and my tounge, she then ask the bagger to take out my toliet paper to make sure I bought the double rolls! I don’t know if it was just this 1 cashier or if they are getting this way. I did her the manager say as of MONDAY no more Target coupons!
Just thought I would give a heads up, if you are like me, I go with a rough idea of how much I am going to spend and then you wind up spend way more because they won’t take your coupons.
I know they don’t have to take competitor coupons, and that is fine, but she was RUDE, and wouldn’t take have my manufactuer coupons also!
It took 30 minutes I kid you not to check out, and I didn’t have that much!
If this is normal for them now please let me know.
      Stacey

      • Quen

That’s the only one I haven’t shopped at. My favorite store is the one on Zelda Rd. I rarely have problems there. I find that most cashiers around here don’t know anything about coupons, so I try to stay away from the Target, CVS, Rite Aid,etc. Just stick with the Winn Dixie competitor q’s and you should be fine.

The best store to get W/D q’s is the one on Carter Hill Rd. Register 5.

    • Melissa

Heads up for Murfreesboro! I received my paper this morning in a bag that was sponsored by advil and a $5.00 rebate coupon was on the front of the bag! I took advantage of the advil deal @ publix getting a 50 count bottle for 1.61 and now I will get $5.00 back by rebate!

    • Crystal

Just to let anyone in the Panama City, Florida area know, publix no longer accepts harveys, food lion, world market, rite aid, or anyone who’s not local as competitors. I found out while in check-out last week, I lost out on 60 dollars of savings!(still saved 107 dollars of the bill)We used to have it so good, they accepted everything, but the cashier said they had several people abusing the policy (making photo copies of coupons, using the wrong comp. coupons, ect.). It makes me sad people do these things and make the honest couponers like myself feel like we’re doing something wrong when we have coupons. But they’ll still accept anyone else who sells groceries in the area’s coupons. : )

    • Terri

Advil rebate: (Form attached to 1/10 Sun. paper)
I bought 40 ct. gels for $6.35. I used the $3 off from adv. flyer and $2 of manu. coup. Send in for $5 rebate and made $3.00 profit after postage.

      • Terri

        Sorry-I live in Chattanooga.

    • Kristi

Is anyone else having trouble printing the Windex coupon?

    • I just wanted to let everyone who goes to the Knightsville Publix that the manager told me that the day the Green advantage coupon booklets came out, a few “select” couponers came in and took stacks and depleted their supply. Please don’t do this, it’s not fair to everyone, including non-couponers. It just makes us look bad.

      • I wish the stores would do something about that. It’s so unfair and I’m getting tired of not having access to the same deals as others because of this.

        • They should do what Trolley Road does (I think), keep them behind the Service Desk. I’m going to talk to the manager about that at the Knightsville store. It is ridiculously selfish of whoever is doing this.

    • Erica

Publix $5.00 off two aleve, bayer, midol, one-a-day or flinstones can be paired with a $2.00 off Midol coupon at their website. $2 off any 20 count midol or larger: http://www.midol.com

      • Crystal

Do you need to buy two midol?

        • Amy B.

The Advantage buy coupon is $5 off 2, so yes in order to use that you would have to buy 2.

    • Tracy

Publix will not accept Target coupons. I had two Target coupons for $1 off Lean Cuisines and the cashier threw them back at me and said they did not accept them. I told him they did last week and he asked the manager who said they did not consider Target a competitor. I explained that they accepted the coupons last week and that Target sells Lean Cuisines, but they refused to accept the coupons and said the cashier who accepted the coupons last week would have gotten in trouble for taking them. The managers said it was a corporate policy. Good news is I can still use my coupons at Target and generally Lean Cuisines are cheaper there. They just don’t have a great selection.

      • jteasie

Does anyone else have problems with that stupid coupon printer program? I install it and then it sometimes prints SOME of the coupons and then when I try to print more (in the same session) it tells me to install the program! I install the program AGAIN and then it goes on this insane cycle of telling me the coupon printer was successfully installed only to tell me I need to install the program when I hit print! I HATE IT!!! I love saving money with this site, but I get to the point where I’d rather just spend the extra money rather than fight with that stupid program. I know it isn’t my computer because I have the same issue with my laptop as well as when I used a friends computer. Any suggestions?

      • jteasie

if you find a solution, let me know, I also have the same problem all the time

    • Da

Some help please. I have done this for several weeks now, and Publix has never raised an eyebrow until tonight.

Scenario: Buy 3 boxes of cereal (BOGO), and use 3 1$/3 coupons. Getting one dollar off of each box.

I have been doing this since I started couponing, and no cashier has said a word to me about this. Have I been wrong from the beginning and just not know it? Was I only allowed to use 1 of the 1$/3 coupons? I was going to use the same concept tonight when buying yogurt and crescent rolls, but the cashier and manager told me that I couldn’t. Since this is the first time I have ever had trouble, I figured I would ask some of the pro’s for advice.

      Thank you.

      • Lisa

$1/3 means exactly that $1.00 off the purchase of 3 boxes of cereal. To use three of those coupons you should have purchased 9 boxes of cereal.

      • Alisha

Your cashiers werent paying attention those times you were doing that. That doesnt happen very often.

    • Valerie

There is a Ken’s Dressing Coupon ($1/2) in 1/10 paper today. Makes it $1.14 ea instead of $1.64 right with just BOGO. I’m new at this, but I think this is an additional savings….

    • Jess

$1/2 Any Two Ken’s Dressings coupon in SS 1/10 makes the dressing $1.12 a bottle at Publix.

    • Drew

I stocked up on dog food this week! I almost skipped that deal since Publix is no longer taking Target coupons and I didn’t have a coupon for the food, but decided to go ahead and do it anyways. When I got to the store there was a $2 coupon dispenser for the food AND a $1 dispenser for the treats. I ran to the front and grabbed another weekly ad to get an extra “funny” deal coupon. Spent $23.96 and got 40 lbs Pedigree dog food, 5 cans Pedigree dog food (I had the B2G1 coupon – if I had another one of those I would have gotten one more free can!) and 2 bags of treats. My dog is happy and so am I!

Also just FYI, I thought you had to clip those coupons for the “funny deals” but I asked at the register and the cashier told me you don’t have to have them to get the deals.

    • Alisha

My SC Publix doesnt have Lender’s bagels BOGO. :(

      • Jarrod

I did the same thing and checked the ones in Dairy, but he Frozen ones were Bogo!

    • Kristin K

Publix on Dorchester Road will no longer be accepting World Market Coupons. It would be a nice if Publix would announce which coupons it will no longer accept. My husband went there yesterday morning with one of the $10 off a $30 purchase and bought meat. I went later that day and the cashier said in a snippy tone, “As of a few days ago, we are no longer accepting these coupons”. I told her very politely that I didn’t want the food then and I would be back tomorrow to pick it up with manufacturer coupons.

    • Jessica

Page not found on the Pam cooking spray :(

      • Lauren

It’s a FL manu coupon. Try iheartpublixdotcom they have it.

    • sarah

i also found no sale on the lenders bagels. I have never known the sale to vary in my region, but I have only been couponing for a few months.
I, like many others here, used to plan a portion of my shopping around getting the penny item on Sundays. I normally do shop on Wednesdays also, as it is the first day of our sale so I am okay with that part of the change. I didnt participate last wednesday so I can t say how my store is handling the switch as far as requiring the coupon, but I will say this- the reason the penny item is avaliable is to encourage shoppers to try store brand items and hopefully become loyal to store brand in the future. For a penny, I will happily try any store brand product, and would buy again should I need that item during a time name brand wasnt on sale. But if I have to purchase an additional paper and hunt down a seperate coupon it becomes a little more than I am willing to do for something I dont need. I am okay with this since shopping there saves me so much money anyway.
That being said- I do understand your frustrations with the switch. Hopefully these bumps in the road will get smoothed over quickly.

      • Leah

Did you try the frozen breakfast area? At my Publix in Lexington, SC, the refrigerated Lender’s bagels were not on sale but the frozen bagels were on sale for $1.

    • Cristina

My store had a Kraft coupon book in the front with $1 off Breakstone’s 4-pack of cottage cheese or Cottage Cheese Doubles. The Doubles are on sale for $1 so they’re free with the coupon.

    • Jilana

Is anyone else having trouble printing the Pam Coupone 2.50/2. Every time I click the button it says page not available. I was wondering where that page is supposed to lead me and I will try to key it in myself. Please help.

      • Lauren

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM!!

    • Traci

Just an FYI on the G2 deal (both were on sale at my Publix in Tucker). I tried to stack the 50 cents off man. coupon (which they doubled) with the Publix 55 cents off coupon and it threw the cashier for a loop. Nice lady but said they won’t take a coupon if it causes an overage. I told her I didn’t want the overage, just free. No dice. So I just used the man. coupon and got $1 off. That still made it a pretty nice deal but I was bummed they wouldn’t just let me have it free. Was also bummed that I got the last G2 64 ounce bottle, they only had full-sugar Gatorade left.

    • Rachal

I’m new to this. My question… are the yellow and green advantage buys flyer just inside the stores and are there actual coupons you cut out or are the discounts just taken at the register when you check out?

    • jteasie

    • Dana

Went to Publix today and have to say I was quite nice.. The cashier asked for my coupons before she even scanned anything. She took them and spread them out all over the scanning area, then went through each item as she scanned it to make sure the coupon matched.. I have never seen a cashier do this. Of course lately Publix is super weird about the coupons. As she is going through my order verifying that I got exactly the item pictured, the total is coming down.. By the time she did all the coupons(and I just KNEW that she was going to shoot down any overage that may come up) my total was $0.94… I saved 87.54 total.. All in all, it was a good trip and I smiled the whole time even though I think she was being a pain in the booty.. Thanks so much for the tips Jenny!

      • Dana

I have some that want it that way and some that want them at the end. I rather prefer they do it that way and I can see for sure that each and every one comes off. I just hold the q’s and hand them to them as each item that matches comes up. helps it go faster so they don’t have to dig through them and I know for sure what should be coming off.

        • Jenni

I agree. I prefer a careful and thorough cashier as well.

    • tara

Hi I am in the greenville sc area and none of my publix accept very many competitor Q they only accept major GROCERY like foodlion bilo and target if it says MQ on it but not if it says TARGET WEB. If any one knows of any that do or how I can resolve this it would be greatly appreciated. They used to take my cvs I am not sure what happened. Thanks and God Bless!

      • Jenni

The upstate stores were losing a lot of money on competitor coups, which they do NOT get any reimbursement for. So all SC Upstate Publix stores refined their coupon policy to only grocery stores in a 5 mile radius to there store (I heard this directly from a manager). The Duncan, SC store, for instance, DOES accept Food Lion competitor coupons, since there is one in Woodruff, SC. And the Fairview Rd. Publix in Simpsonville has been known to accept Target coups in the past, however I feel sure that it was an oversight, and not actual policy allowing that to happen.

Yes its on advantage buy for $1 and there is a 50¢ newspaper coupon from last weekend. Its under the “more publix deals” list on this site.

    • Just a heads up for those of you buying the Benevia juice drinks:

I bought 4 boxes last time this deal was going on but I didn’t have the green advantage coupons just the $5 off printable. I opened one pack and put them in the fridge. When I went to try one there was white stuff growing on the inside of the lid and floating in the juice. I threw the whole pack away which was stupid but still had 3 packs left. I looked threw the box and saw that all of them had it. I got the yellow box of like pineapple so the other ones might be fine but just make sure you look. I took 3 of them back and I couldn’t find my reciept and they gave me a gift card for the 3 packs.

I bought over $150 worth of groceries that night and used my coupons, Walgreens RR, and gift card and payed $0.82!

when does the new ad start for bi-lo and publix? when does jenny typically post them?

      • The date that the new ads start depend on your location. In my town the new sales start on Wednesdays and end on Tuesdays. Jenny posts the sales and deals for publix and bi-lo on tuesday night. It may be late for the bi-lo one, but she usually has publix up by 10 pm. I hope this helps.
