    • mariek

Is anyone else having a hard time finding the $5/2 coupon in the Green Adv. for the phazyme and Contac? Thought maybe I was missing it but the manager even helped me look for it??

      • EagarCouponer

I couldn't find the coupon in the flyer either. I was looking in the Birmingham area Publix ad.

      • Anonymous

It's on the inside cover…beside the Centrum Silver, under the Zyrtec. It has a bunch of different products listed, but does not picture them all. HTH

      • Lorri

Look on the 2nd page, bottom right side of the flyer. The picture only shows Oscal, Ecotrin, Gaviscon and Citrucel, but they list a bunch of other items as well.

      • Kristi

It is inside the front cover on the bottom right. You have to read the 'fine print' because the picture shows os call, citrucel, ecotrin and gaviscon. It is right beside the $5.00 on centrum silver q. If it is not in yours, the q code is LU#9425.

      • Lorri

It is in the new flyer 1/29-2/18 inside the cover page.

      • Donna

I had the opposite problem – I found the ocupon, but couldn't find the Contac in the store to save my life! :( I guess my particular Publix doesn't carry it.

        Hope you found it!

    • Emileyrlane

I got free Dove deodorant today. It's 2.99 (regular price), and there's a publix coupon in the green advantage flyer for $1/1, and a $2/1 in one of the 1/30 RP inserts.

      • 129hutch

Oooh! Thanks for the tip :)

      • Jennamreich

        That's awesome! Thank you!

      • Donna

Yep, someone pointed this out in last week's ad too, so I got one last weekend and thankfully my mom saved her coupons for me this week, so I'm going back to get another one.

Gotta love getting staples like this free! Thanks for letting everyone know this week! :)

      • Monica

Type your comment here. Thanks for the ;heads-up on the Dove deoderant, I got 3 for free!

      • Punkin2078

I was so excited about the free dove deo…but was very disappointed when I went today. Our publix had dove deo at $4.49 :( Which made them $1.49. Where do you live that they were $2.99?

    • guest

Is the price in ( ) the sale price? or how much off the item is? Ex: 3.99 (1.99)

      • Alyson

It's the sale price when it is 1/2 price for the BOGO (Unless you are in Florida and you have to buy 2 to get BOGO)

      • Angel_in_Charleston

The price in parentheses is the cost of one item on sale BOGO. In your example, if you buy two you would pay $3.99 but if you only buy one it would be $1.99.

    • Phototabe

Does anyone know if they are getting any of the booklets listed in this list and last weeks. None of the booklets were at my publix (lexington, sc). If anyone does know where there are some please email me @ phototabe@yahoo.com. thank you bunches

      • Tdoyle

      • Allihayze

I went to the site and clicked on coupons and there is an option there for it.

      • Nursejek

just go to the home on that page that comes up then pick then pick community and there is a place for coupons it will let you print 3

    • Jaxons Mom

    • softballmom

There is a Target coupon for $1 off when you purchase 2 Mtn. Dew 12 pks. Paired with the BOGO you would get 2 for $2 each!

    • Mandy

Target has $1 off purchase of two Oscar Mayer hot dogs

    • Mom2teenagers

The Kraft Foods & Family booklet has many of the Kraft match ups. Specifically there is a $0.55/1 Oscar Mayer hot dogs q which pairs nicely with the BOGO franks.

      • Mom2teenagers

In the same Kraft Foods & Family booklet, there is a $0.55/1 Bullseye sauce q. There are tearpads for $1/1 2-liter soda or 6 pack when you buy (2) participating Kraft products. So I'm getting Bullseye for $0.50 each and saving on soda too!

    • Jenn

eight oclock coffee is BOGO too. Kroger had coupons for $2 off two. 4 bags of coffee for 8 dollars

      • Isn't that for the previous ad and not this one?

        • Jenn

It was in the Sunday paper this week in Atlanta. Picked it up yesterday. Not sure if will still be going on 2/2.

    • Djmh0042

Publix has the Colgate Pro Clinical Daily Whitening 2/$1.98! This is the 4 oz Tube.

      • Jen

It's a clearance deal. Saw that and several other toothpastes on the shelf, but marked down in my area too. Happy hunting!

    • Donna

The Kraft American 2% singles are a better deal at Harris Teeter this week – they're on sale for $1.79 and if you use the $1/1 printable, they're $0.79 per package!

      • Srhine85

There is a $1 off product on cooking with kraft when you buy a 12 oz Kraft Singles. If you were going to buy product anyways, it makes them free.

    • Kristy

I went today for the 2 for 5 Scott yellow adv buy deal. I used $1.50 store cpn the used the mfc cpn $1 off 4 pack. It went through but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use that 2nd cpn???

      • Donna

You can use a store coupon at Publix (they look different and say Publix at the bottom of them) AND a manufacturer coupon as well, so you were fine to do that. That's one of the ways to get these great deals that Jenny shows us! :)

    • Cami White

Does anyone know if the Lloys meat freezes well?

      • Snow Torii

        Yes, it freezes just fine.

        • Cami White

Thanks everyone! I bought the Curly’s last time it was on sale, but we ate it all before it expired…
I plan to buy plenty so we can serve it at my daughters birthday party :)

      • Ashley

I think it freezes really well. I always buy a few tubs and throw them in the freezer for a quick meal :)

      • Candiceburnham

        Yes it does! :)

      • MBGirl

Yes it does freeze well. Plan on getting me some too.

      • Megan

We buy several and freeze it every time it goes on sale! It freezes very well and is pretty tasty!

    • Geitania

My Publix isn’t giving them out any more but they were in a cardboard stand by the entrance.

    • frustrated in valdosta

I went to Publix in Valdosta tonight to experience their new coupon policy. I asked last week about the sav a lot 5/25 and they said it would be fine to use since they are a grocery store. then I called last night again and talked to the manager and he said ok to use, too. When I go in tonight to use it, the lady manager said no they are not because it is a sign up deal and they are no longer taking any coupons that you have to sign up to get. So, they are not taking target or those anymore. they have really rocked my savings world. it is bad enough that every time i go i have to get rain checks on everything and half of the managers and clerks are rude about the coupons in the first place. it has really turned me off to them. i may travel to a publix nearby to shop at for a while until they get their act together and all get on board about their new policy.

    • Kristy

Baileys coffee creamer is in the yellow advantage booklet 2/$3. There was a blinkie attached to the door of the creamer section $1/1. Use 2 makes creamer 50 cents each.

    • Natalie

How can you get the hillshire farm deli meat for 50cents. Is it on sale or is there a new add?

      • Nikkibishopmy31

What you have to do is go and sign up at http://www.gomeat.com and register, then vote for the sandwiche you like, then you will be prompted for your Q’s, then pair it up with the coupon in the Yellow Advantage, and there ya go!

        • Natalie559

Those are for 8oz or larger, the $2 meat is 5oz, so no match here

      • Maggie

In Yellow Advantage Flyer hillshire meat $2 and a publix coupon for $1/2 match with the $1 printable= $0.50

    • Guest

This may sound like a dumb question, but where to you get the green advantage or yellow advantage flyers? Are they something that you can pick up in the store?

      • Yuliyaporter

they are usually located behind the Customer Service Desk. Jusk ask for them

      • Couponj

Yes, usually where they keep the weekly ads

      • Verowan

At the stores I go to they are in the “lobby” area where the shopping carts are.

    • Tammy (MyCouponAdventures.com)

There is also a ladies Dove deodorant deal…

      Dove Deodorant, $2.99
-$1/1 Dove Deodorant (Publix Coupon) Green Advantage Buy Flyer
      -$2/1 Dove Deodorant 1/30 RP

      • Haley554

Do you think this would work with the Men's deodorant too? The coupon doesn't specify in the wording, but the picture is just of womens' deodorant.

        • Tammy (MyCouponAdventures.com)

I don't have the coupons in front of me any more to verify for sure – but it seems that one or the other of them was for women's only… but like I said, I just can't be sure without seeing them.

        • Srhine85

The coupon does not say womens. It says on any one Dove deodorant or body mist, so in my opinion, it is good for either kind.

      • Bryarsmom

This is also free at Kroger this week as well.

      • Maggie

THANK YOU! I look for these deals to donate to our women's shelter and I missed this one you rock for pointing it out!

    • Jones Gk

What does the acorn next to a deal mean? It's not in the abbreviations section?

      • Great price. Stock up!

      • Barabarafox

The acorn means, it is a good price to stockpile it.

    • Bamamomof4

Is there a certain zip code to use for the Target Q's? I can't find most of the ones listed for this add.

    • Megan

If you're planning on getting the Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats, print off the Target q for a FREE box of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal with purchase of 10 oz Kellogg cereal. I'm planning on buying 2 of the mini-wheats, and you can print 2 of the free q's. If it's free cereal, it gets eaten in our house!!

    • Mmleininger

I just printed out the $1 off coupons from the Hillshire Farm's website. The coupon states that they are for an 8 oz or larger package. The packages on sale are 5 -6 oz. so the coupon does work for this sale. :(

      • Nikkibishopmy31

I wonder how much the 8oz usually is? BC the Yellow flyer states its for a pkg 5-12oz?

        • jrun

at my store in nashville they are 3.99 and the smaller 5 oz. (hanging up in packs are 2/$4).

      • Dronet Michelle

I didn't think it would work either but figured I would try the coupon for the 5-6oz. size this past Saturday and it worked fine for me. Good luck!

        • Natalie559

I do not mean this as a personal attack, but using coupons for sizes other than what the coupon specifies isn’t right and it makes it harder for everyone else as rules get tightened b/c of this. I had the lunch meat in hand and while reviewing my coupons before checkout and saw the 5oz size. I put the meat back rather than trying to get the wrong coupon pushed through.

    • Couponj

$25/1 Rotel diced tomatoes in 1/23 SS

      • Elizabeth

Wouldn't that be nice?! :) It is $0.25/1

        • Couponj

HAHA yeah, that would be awesome! :-)

      • Shelley

Walmart in my area has Rotel on sale this wk. for only 88cents/can, vs. $1.39 at Publix.

        • diane

But it’s $1.39 foi 2 at Publix plus a .75 off Publix coupon

      $0.55/1 Breakstone’s Sour Cream 1/23/2011 SS Insert

      • Carmen

Thank you so much for posting this…..I KNEW I had seen a coupon for this sour cream and could not find it anywhere! THANKS

        • Couponj

NP, I hate printing coupons I already have!

    • Hannity

      Get over yourself.

    • dont forget the $5 off $30 from WinnDixie is still good until 2/08!

    • Angie

Why are coupons that have expired being brought up to use? Does Publix take expired coupons???

      • kjmiller

No. What expired coupons are you referring to (i.e. in Jenny's posts or somewhere in comments?).

        • Angie

In some of the BOGOF items for this flyer she says EXP 1/30. Jenny’s comments, is what I was referring to. Thanks for the help.

          • Hey there, i checked the list and can’t find any that expire on 1/30. Remember that if its listed SS or RP 1/30 that’s when the coupon came out in the paper, not when it expired. Its never my intention to list expired coupons here on Southern Savers but occasionally they slip through. Hope that helps!

            • Angie

I messed up, Jenny. I was super tired when I was reading your info and I thought it said EXP 1/30 but it was RP 1/30. Sorry! You were right. I need to get more rest.

      • Phototabe

publix will take mf expired coupons up to 10 days in the lexington, sc branch. They dont take their store coupons if they are expired

        • Angie

          Thanks!!!

      • Otsarah

I spoke to my manager yesterday and he said as long as they have expired during that week he could take them. I guess they send in the coupons just once a week.

        • Angie

          Thanks!!!

      • Remeber, Jenny is in Haiti this week, so these add posts are probably by friends that have offered to help while she is away. At least that's what I assume!

        • Angie

          Thanks!!!

    • millie

does anyone know if you can freeze cream cheese????? thanks!

      • Scrappyautie

Yes, I do it when it's on a stock up price. It works VERY well ; )

        • Lindsay M

you might should research it because everything I found said it would not freeze well

      • Lisa

I have been told it freezes well. Thought I'd try it myself.

      • Save1moredollar

Cream cheese can sort of separate/get grainy when you freeze it. But it still tastes good, and if you don't mind that the texture changes a little, there's no problem. It's not any worse than the difference between using real cream cheese vs fatfree in a recipe, IMO.

      • Marysc1000

The texture changes- a lot! BUT I have found that unopened cream cheese lasts just fine way past the expiration date…

      • Sr2384us

You can freeze it..just when you get ready to use it thaw it first in frig…and then “whip” in the food processor….. it works great…you have to put it in the processor because it does seperate

      • Srhine85

it is probably similar to freezing sour cream. The texture is really weird, kind of looks like cottage cheese, but I am sure if you use it in a recipe, it would not get noticed.

    • Ava501

There is a 1.00 off 2 Nabisco products coupon in SS 1/30 (Charleston)

    • Luvcoupons

Does Publix double Target coupons like .50/2 Philly Cream Cheese?

      • Meguardo

        No…Sorry!

      • Alcwindsor

        Mine does…depends on the store.

    • Momscoupons25

There is a .55/1 coupon for Breakstone's sour cream in SS 1/23 (Miami)

    • jrun

If anyone has an extra kimberly clark rebate form I would really appreciate it. I'm not an extreme couponer, but if I have any in my stack you would like I would send them to ya. (let me know what you need and i'll dig through my pile). I haven't even seen them at my store:(

      • Dana

I have one. And I've already filled out mine, so you can have this one. Can you post your email, and I will get your info, and mail it to you.

        • jrun

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! My e-mail is runionj@yahoo.com. Thanks again.

        • jrun

I tried to post it and it says it’s being approved by a moderator, so let’s try this, runionj@yahoo dot com, Thanks so much!

    • Livserge331

There is a 9 Lives coupon in the 12/12 RP. $1 off, and it expires 2/5 so hurry before the end of the sale week. I'm stoked because I'm down to just a few days of cat food! I almost caved at HT today just to get some, but I'm glad I held out!

      • albert_the_gator

I was excited to see this too! Thanks for the warning about expiring on 2/5. I would've have waited till the weekend, and the coupons would have expired by then.

      • Monica

        Found it! Thanks so much!

    • Cleo1976

Does any one know, do you have to buy two of the buy one get items, or can you just buy one at the half price?

      • Lmoore77

In FL you have to buy both – true BOGO. Other states each is half price.

        • Nick

Found that out the hard way on a visit to Miami this summer….paid $4 for a bag of Doritos, haha. I was angry, not how we do it in GEORGIA!

          • Guest

nick, that’s cuz you nice Georgia folks have Krogers and other competitors. Down here in SE Fla, we really don’t have that since Winn Dixie and Albertson’s closed down most if not all stores. The cashiers should have told you that you get the 2nd bag free.

      • Greg

In TN and AL you can just buy the one item for half price.

    • deepo

I'm new at using this website. Will someone explain how to get the phazyme for free- the green advantage coupon is $5/2, so $2.50 each, then $1 off coupon…isn't it still $1.50? Thanks!!!

      • The3edges

They are $3.49 each. The store Q takes $5 off 2 of them, and then the manufacturer's Q's take $1 off each one.

      • mj

It's $7 for 2 Phazyme. Use the $5/2 to bring it down to $2. Then you can use 2 $1 off coupons, making it free. :)

        • diep.tan@rocketmail.com

          I see! Thanks so much!

      • Idreamofjeanne

On the phazyme – buy 2 – use the Publix $5/2 coupon plus 2 of the $1 coupons. FYI – there was a $1.50 manu coupon for phazyme in last Sunday's paper.

    • Frugal_mommyof1

Is anyone else who gets coupons from Montgomery (AL) Advertiser having problems finding coupons for this ad? My paper did not have a SS at all, it did have a P&G and two RP inserts – each with about 5 coupons, the rest ads. I wanted coupons for Pace salsa, Mt. Olive pickles, Knorr, Cheez-Its, Hillshire Farms lunchmeat, and Newman's Own Salsa. And I have none of these coupons in the 1/30 inserts! I'm wondering if it's even worth a trip tomorrow to get the 3 items I DO have coupons for…

Just wondering what I am doing wrong. Why can't I find these coupons?

      • millie

no it is not just you. the coupons were getting good for a while and now they are awful again. i live in millbrook and the walgreens was selling the b'ham paper for 99 cents and they had good coupons and then got bad and now they don't even sell them anymore. it is almost a waste of money and time to bo and buy the papers anymore. i use clipping sites and wholecouponinserts (dot com). they have great inserts with a lot of coupons i don't see in this area. for what i and probably you spend on papers it is well worth it for all the money i save when i shop. hope this helps and good luck!

      • 1cowgirl145

I live in Chilton County and found the same problem. The Metro Birmingham area gets the most and best coupons. Shelby county is the closest that you will find the paper with the coupons you need. If you don't work close to Shelby County or don't ever go there, I find coupon clipping sources like The Coupon clippers works well and I can get quantity without paying a fortune.

        • Amyihs92

The Clanton Advertiser had the 2 red plums and the proctor and gamble insert in them sunday. And they are only .25.

        • Larbars

I live in Vestavia Hills and get the Birmingham News, and Jenny is always posting coupons that our SS or RP don’t have. It’s super frustrating. Birmingham is a large enough city that it should get all the coupons! I’m going to write someone a letter :)

      • Danyeln

NOpe it isn't just you. I went to 4 diffferent places and bought 5 papers on Sunday trying to find one that had the SS. I finally came home and found a site that sold whole inserts (Couponbeat) and ordered her last 2 SS inserts. I have already decided that I am just ordering them from now on. The 2 RPs from this Sunday was the breaking point for me. So I'll continue to buy 1 paper so I can get the news but I am going elsewhere for my coupon needs.

      • Isabela50

The people who live in Montfgomery and have the paper delivered got the SS insert. I bought mine @ Wetumpka Walmart and only got 2 RP and 1 PG.

    • Hwyman422

$1 off Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs (Target)

    • Kaka4coupons

Did anyone else have trouble with the Breakstone Cottage Cheese coupon.? I can't find it at the link

      • Can’t find it either. It took me to the Kraft site and looked like it might be found on the Diabetes Center, but it didn’t seem to be there. Did anyone find it on Kraft? Seems like I am never able to find the coupons for Kraft, unless they are on coupons.com or some other site.

      • Mbud80

did you find it? i am having trouble too…

    • Sheylyn4

I had some different coupons like
.60 of 2 pace salsa but it was in RP 1-30 but not one in the SS ? wish I had that one though for the double but something is better than nothing.
.25 of one rotel in SS 1-23

    • mom26boys

There are printable coupons for the Horizon cheese slices on their website. Also there is a Marzetti Veggie Dip $1 off coupon thats not listed here.

    • Sara

Can someone help a newbie out? When I see the following…

$1 off Krusteaz Bakery Style cookie mix, SS 12/05

What does the “SS 12/05” mean? I assume that's a date, but I have no idea where to get that coupon. Thanks in advance for the help.

      • V7nik

SS means Smart Source insert out of your Sunday paper. 12/05 is the date it was in.Hope this helps and Welcome to couponing, its addictive! :)

      • Larbars

Jenny has some really great explanations for all that. Just click on “Learn to Coupon” and go from there. I started couponing just last year and after I read all of her stuff, I didn't have any questions.

    • Suz

The printable Wisk coupon is not coming up for me…anyone else having trouble?

    • guest

I work at Publix and was told yesterday that Publix is coming out with a new coupon policy and part of the policy will be that they will no longer accept competitor coupons :-(….they did not say when this will start but I have a feeling it will be soon….apparently all the managers had a meetng and decided this!!! thought I would give you the heads up…

      • el

Where is this? Especially, since all the districts have different policies?

      • Powklan

I just started couponing but if Publix starts not accepting competitors coupons, they will not be very competitive and I will have to go back to Walmart. Seems to me that they may lose lots of customers.

      • Larbars

        Where is this Publix?

      • Guest

I am not sure if all the Publixs are going to do it or just the Jacksonville Division, which includes South Georgia – it is going into effect in the next couple of months I was told today….I agree I think people will start to shop elsewhere to get the best deal instead of going to Publix for everything…they will see a drop in business from their couponers…but believe or not there are a lot of people who do not use coupons…..apparently Publix themselves is coming out with a coupon policy which I am going to assume is going to be for everybody

        • Guest

Publix not so good anymore. In our area, the prices have increased 20-25% in less than one year. One store nearby has been very anti-coupon. SHame that Trader Joes or Krogers doesn’t open up. Many mfr. coupons now are only $1 off TWO items, instead of $1 each. So even when you add them to the BOGO, not such a good deal anymore.

      • Guest

The store we USED TO shop in down in Plantation outside of Ft. Lauderdale has not accepted any competitor coupons in ages. The mgr. is quite arrogant about it too. They have zero competition since Winn Dixie and Albertson’s went out of business and they refuse to take Target or any other supermarket coupons. So now we shop Target, love it and they’re every day prices are MUCH cheaper!

    • AB

What's the penny item this week?

      • Nursejek

        soda

      • Larbars

Mine is Publix Saltines. So I'm going tonight to see if they change it. I've found that by the end of the day they've usually run out and picked something else. A few weeks ago it was coffee (which I don't drink) so I went at the end of the day and it was Publix Pizza! Another time it changed from coffee to Publix oats. But one time it was cheese and I couldn't get there till the end of the day and they changed it to Bleach. Blah :)

        • Lynda

I usually get it even if I don’t want it and add it to my donate stack.

    • Clip2save

-.50/1 Hormel Compleats, Chili,…..(no longer available to watch) printable ……….

The .50 coupon for Hormel IS still available to watch.

    • Andrea Cooper25

Are the Target coupons for the cheese and hot dogs gone? If not what zip code?

      • Andrea Cooper25

Nevermind after I closed it and reopened it, they came up…weird but awesome :)

        • Andrea Cooper25

Well it's telling me the coupons have reached their maximum print. Bummer.

          • QPunQueen

            Find a different computer!

            • Andrea Cooper25

I haven't ever printed from this computer. So they are still working?

    • Denise

Anyone know what the penny item is this week?

      • El

        saltine crackers i believe

      • Nursejek

        soda

    • Betty Crocked

Anyone else not finding the velveeta coupon at the target site?

      • Betty Crocked

Or the .50/1 Kraft at the target site.

      • Andrea Cooper25

It finally showed up for me but it wont allow me to print. It says maximum print level reached.

    • MarthaP

Is there a certain zip code for the Kingsford coupon?

    • Czalinsky

Hillshire farm deli meats are not on sale this week.. I'm at publix now :(

      • Nbishop

        what is the price?

        • Jane

The smaller packages (hanging up) are not on sale. They are regularly priced $2 ea. What makes it a good deal is that you can use the Publix coupons with them.

          • but the coupon are for farm deli selects. Are the ones your talking about Deli selects?

            • plus the Manf. Q are for 8oz and over not the ones on sale 5-6oz. Am I missing something

            • Morgan

You are not missing anything. The coupons listed don't match the sale items. I went through the same thing last week.

        • $3.99

      • Dejaik

it's the smaller pkgs in the cardboard boxes that are $2ea not the plastic container pkgs

        • if it's not the deli selects then how do the coupons work, the coupons are for the plastic ones Farm deli selects…

    • Mickiegibbs

Can someone explain “Green Advantage Buy Deals” and “Yellow Advantage Buy Deals”? Thanks!!!!

      • Joynunez24

Publix has 2 monthly flyers located next to their weekly ads in the store. One is the yellow advantage buy deals the other is the green advantage deals. These matchups go along with what's in those booklets. There are publix coupons in them. Hope that helps :)

    • Lexington

does the new publix in Lexington SC take target coupons?

      • Michelle

I stopped by Customer Svc before I started shopping to clarify which competitor Qs they took there. The manager said no Target, CVS, Walgreen's, Rite Aid..only competitors like FL & Bi-Lo. I didn't ask if they take Kroger since it's more than 5mi to that location. Hope this helps.

    • Bauercandace

I cannot find the Pace Salsa coupon or the Mt. Olive coupon in the Smartsource for 1/30. Does anyone know where to find them?

      • Nursejek

        it is RP

    • Susan

Please help a newbie. Is Clorox Clean-Up a Clorox2 product? It's not part of the description on the coupon or on the Clorox website.

      • Clorox2 is a detergent product and Clorox Clean-Up is for your bathroom, so those coupons should be accepted for each other.

    • RP 1/30!

    • I found it in the RP-1/30 Bauercandace!

      • Bauercandace

I found the .35/2 coupon for Pace in there, but not the one that was specified above. Also, still no luck finding the Mt. Olive coupon.

    • Katherine R

I just called the Publix at Hendrix Crossing in Lexington, SC (the new one) and they told me the Penny Item for today is Publix Saltine Crackers.

      Thought I'd share.

      • MissG818

I am new to coupon-saving. I was told that the Kennesaw, GA Publix adheres to the mystery shopping item on Thursdays. You must represent the coupon provided in the AJC (Atlanta-Journal Constitution). Unfortunately, I am having difficulty locating it. Can anyone help?

        • Katherine R

I'm not sure about the location, but here's my latest tactic on the whole issue of having to have the coupon printed in the newspaper the day of the mystery penny item: I go shopping after work, so 6:00pm or so. I go straight to Customer Service and ask where they have the newspaper for sale. I would like to buy it to get the penny item coupon. So far, every time they've already sold out of the newspaper for that day and tell me that they'll honor the penny item without the coupon since they have sold out of the newspaper. They just grab the coupon out of a cash drawer and hand it to me to use when I check out. It's worked 3 weeks in a row. Of course I'll buy the newspaper if they have it, but it's not my fault they're out :)

        • Jane

The coupon comes out in Thursday's paper, coinciding with the first day of the sale.

        • sharon60

I always pick up a Marietta paper for 50cents at the store but you have to shop before lunch to get a copy. The coupon is usually on the 2nd page of Life Styles section (probably pg 3) on the bottom right. If you can't find it, take the paper to customer svc and they will help you. Otherwise, it's in the Thurs AJC – call the store customer svc and ask them where it is located in the AJC.

    • Lisa

There is a coupon in the Game Day Playbook, save $1wyb (1) Velveeta and (1) Rotel. Didn't see it listed above.

      • Andrea Cooper25

Where did you get your Game Day Playbook?

        • Aebstanley

I got mine at Wal-Mart on display.

          • Andrea Cooper25

Where at in your Walmart if you don't mind me asking :)

        • griffins00

found it at Kroger too…it says “get your recipes here, but there are great q's in it!

      • Krperry08

Where did you get the play book?

        • Lisa

Found the Game Day Playbook in a Publix store several weeks ago.

    • JPLsgal

For anyone who’s Publix accepts Earthfare coupons, here’s a great one for Super Bowl snacks: Free pound of cooked chicken wings from the deli! http://www.earthfare.com/HealthySavings/EmailCoupon_2.aspx?d=p

    • Emaushouse

There is a $1.00 coupon for Kraft Miracle Whip and Mayo 30oz. that was available at my Publix last week. It was on a display titled “S'wich It Up”. It also had a $.55 coupon for Kraft Barbecue Sauce on the same flyer.

    • Andrea Cooper25

Does anyone know the price of the Oscar Meyer hotdogs yet?

    • Db 1970

Because my Publix accepts Target coupons, I'm looking for the Kraft Mayo $1/2 or .50/1 coupon on the Target website. Haven't been able to find either of them. Does anyone know what zipcode to use? or has the print limit been reached?

      • Heyyall1

I just prinjted tonight zip code 30052 – good luck

      • Mindyinsc

I got it, but tried to print another one on the laptop and it was no longer available. Plus this was one it only let me print one time. I used 29485.

    • Couponj

Check your stash… there were some printable coupons for Cream Cheese .50/2 and Kraft/Publix coupons if you buy sliced cheese you get $1 off Produce or Bread.

    • AK

This is my first attempt at couponing. I've spent half the morning trying to print the olive oil coupon without success. Not sure this is worth the time it is taking or the rise in my blood pressure. I've printed coupons from smart source website directly but it won't let me print this one. Any suggestion??

      • Jessmender

Hang in there, it's totally worth it. Sometimes there are problems with online coupons, and I usually just write those off. If you keep it up, you will literally save THOUSANDS of dollars and have fun in the process.

      • Larbars

I totally am with you! I started couponing for the very first time about 5 months ago. I have completely stopped printing coupons because there were so many disappointments (and ink and paper!). I just shop “sales” and use my newspaper coupons and friends' newspaper coupons and now competitior's coupons found in weekly ads. Good luck!

      • itismedia

It is frustrating when you cannot get a coupon be it because it has been snapped up or a techincal issue. Don't give up and remember, if you need olive oil it is still 50% without a coupon. A coupon makes it sweeter, but I am planning on buying a bottle anyway. =+)

      • Amy B.

When I started printing online coupons, I had to abandon Firefox and switch to Internet Explorer. Try using a different browser and see if that helps! Good luck! Don't give up! I did not get great results at first but over the long haul, couponing has given me a much saner budget and a lot more food in the house. :)

      • Mindyinsc

all prints are probably gone. And trust me it is SO worth your time, but just relax. Those EVOO coupons come around all the time and are in the paper ofter also, and Publix puts it on sale pretty often too. The entire process is a little overwhelming the first few times, but after a few weeks when you spend 208 bucks and only owe 22.00 you will be glad you stuck with it. Good luck and you alway shave support here!!

    • Emaushouse

Also, there is a Buy 2 bags of Tostitos Tortilla Chips and Save $1.00 on an avocado purchase coupon. Found on the Tostitos display at Publix.

    • Delleen

There is a $1 off any SeaPak item in the SS insert. I forgot to write the date on it, but it's the one with Red Lobster on the front.

      • Jendoyal

Just fyi, if you forget to write the date on them (I often do!) You can find the date in tiny print on the left edge fold of the insert.

        • jillyb

Thank you so much! I never knew this and wasted a lot of time looking for coupons because of it.

      • guest

It may be for Sea Best products, but I don't which insert I got them from. So you may have different ones than I do…

    • Delleen

Never mind Ya'll I just noticed it expired 1/31. Sorry!

    • Gettobobs

AK- dont give up just because of an olive oil coupon. You can find those ALL the time in Sundays papers inserts, so if you dont get it this time no big deal. Once you start to get into it and see the amount of money you save, you will be addicted like all the other coupon ladies (and men) on here. Some thimes the links wont work, and sometimes there are no coupon prints available…just chalk it up and move onto the next deal—like I said, different brands of Olive Oil go on sale pretty often at Publix. Keep going girl!!

    • mommieto3

The link to the honest kids juice boxes is not working. Any one else having ISSUES and are there any suggestions!?

      • Homeisthebeachnow

you have to go the little banner at the bottom & click for the coupons. It worked for me yesterday

      • Meme

If I am correct, this was the site I noticed a box in the right lower corner of the screen. Keep watching it and it will change ads after a little time. One says something about wanting coupons. Click on it and it will take you to the part of the site that will let you fill in your information and print your coupons. It will let you print three so just keep hitting F5 or the “back” button.

        • sharon60

Thank you! I've been going nuts looking for this.

Went to Publix, this add is no good for today. It may say 2/2 – 2/8, it does not start until tommorrow.

      • 129hutch

Just depends where you live. Starts today, Wednesday, in COlumbia, SC.

      • Larbars

The say some start Wednesdays and some start Thursdays. Your Publix must always start their new sales on Thursdays.

    • jt

      Jenny,

Just wanted to mention that I could not access this ad without going throught the penny item post. it would not come up on your weekly add drop down list under Publix. Thought you might like to know! Thank you for all you do!

    • Cargill58

There's a Target coupon for $1 off purchase of 2 OM hot dogs. I' a newbie at this not sure if it will work.

      • Andrea Cooper25

It will work as long as your Publix accepts Target as a competitor.

    • Monica

L'eggs Silken Mist Pantyhose $2.99 are 25% (Green Advantage) and a bunch of them at my store (Woodstock, GA) had $1 peelies on them! I love this brand and it's the cheapest I've seen them.

      • Rachel

What is Green Advantage? I'm new to couponing.

        • ashlyn

a flyer at publix that has coupons. you'll find these when you first enter the store or you may have to ask at the customer service desk.

    • Alisha L.

For the women: My Publix (31906) had Midol 40 count boxes on sale for $4.99, You can get a $2/1 coupon from Midol.com (print 2 times) and use the $5/2 from the green advantage flyer and the total comes to $.98 for BOTH boxes. They’re normally $6.49 each.
Also Aleve 50 count is on sale too for $4.99, I found $1/1 coupons on the box and used another of the $5/2 advantage buy flyer coupon (both are on the very front page) total of $ 3.98 for both boxes

    • Larbars

For the second week in a row: when I go to Publix –> Weekly Ad at the top, this doesn't show up. I have to find it on the right under “Latest Articles.” Obviously not a big deal, but just wanted to let you know for continuity of the site.

    • Larbars

I just discovered the SAVINGS from knowing what competitor coupons your Publix accepts. Mine has a list at the cash register and today I finally remembered to write them down. The Publix in Vestavia Hills, AL accepts Western, Bruno's, Food World, Piggly Wiggly, Whole Foods, AND Winn Dixie coupons! Western Supermarket has coupons for Kraft Mayo (-$1/1), Kraft Cheese (-$1/2), and Nabisco Crackers (-$1/2) in their ad this week! Also Winn Dixie has a $5 off a $30 purchase. Love it!

      • Desireebowen

If you want to go down 31 a little further right when cross into Hoover, they will accept Target (since there is Target superstore in Hoover). Thanks for listing out all those stores- I've been wondering what all they accept!

        • Larbars

Hey Des! It's me, Lauren! Haha! Fancy seeing you on here! I didn't know the Hoover Publix took Target. That's good to know! Do you know if they accept the other comps that I listed for Vestavia? If so, I'm switching Publixes!

      • bootsiegirl

Thanks for this info. I shop at the Montevallo store but never been clear what competitor coupons they take.

Are the coupons you listed in each store's ad… or online?

        • Larbars

It's not online or in the ad. They will either have a small sign by the register (because the cashiers need to know too) or you can ask the manager.

        • jhriches

          GV.

      • chan

That is good to know! Found out the hard way that they DON'T accept Target or Walgreens coupons at the Vestavia Publix!

      • softballmom

Something that might help out too is that some of the local schools are selling coupon books right now that have either 6 or 8 $5 off $50 purchase for Food World in them. I bought one just so I could use those coupons at Publix! You more than make your money back on those 6-8 coupons alone!

      • Toshawardlaw

THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! FOR THE INFO!!!

    • Msliss17

There is a coupon on the Target website for $1 off of 2 – 12pks of Mt. Dew or Diet Mt. Dew. This would make these $2/pk!

      • Mindyinsc

Amazing! I am Diet Dr. Pepper (which I printed a couple weeks ago) and my husband is Diet Mt. Dew..between the sale, Target q's and the man's I pulled from previous boxes…I saved a bundle on soda yesterday.

    • Amy T.

      Just got back – saved $103, spent $34. :)

I had purchased 20 $.25/1 coupons for rotel to use for free rotel at Kroger last week and they were out. Today's deal at Publix though was incredible – I got 24 cans, used 24 $.25 Q's which doubled AND 8 Publix coupons for $.75/3 so it was a moneymaker of $4.92. I was pleased.

Also got mahatma rice packs with the $.50/1 coupon they were also $.89 so I again had a mm of $.11 each.

      • Freemn4

Way to go Amy! Great shopping! People can't believe it when I tell them there are items you can come away with for more than free!!!

      • mj

Nice! Where did you find the Mahatma rice packs coupon?

    • Tamis411

I was able to view & print the $3 off 2 Target coupon for Dixie plates.

There are Nabisco cracker coupons on the Target website to match with the manufacturer's coupon. One is for 50/1 Ritz, the other is 1/2 Nabisco crackers – shows a Wheat Thins box.

    • Cindy

Has anyone been able to get the nabisco cracker coupon to print? When I click on the link, there is nothing there.

    • Grandma

Carroll Shelby’s Chili Kit, 3-4 oz., $2.19 ($1.09) was not on sale B1G1 at Macon, GA Publix store at Bass Plantation. Store clerk checked the printed ad and said the online version must have been from a different area. The Chili Kit was regular price at $2.19.

      • Me2see2

Sure you didn't get a jump on the new add for this week? Some areas start the new weekly add on Thursday while others start it on Wednesday.

      • Clipchick24

Our store in Barrow County Georgia didn't have the Carroll Sheloby on sale either and she checked it at the customer service desk.

        • Clipchick24

          Oops! Shelby!

    • mom26boys

Can I use a B1G1 Mfr. coupon with 2 Publix store coupons? I have B1G1 coupons for Axe deodorant/body spray and Publix has $1 coupons in their Sweetheart Savings book. Thanks in advance!

      • itismedia

Yep, that will work if your store allows you to stack coupons. One of your Axe will have a store and man. coupon used on it. Most Publix do allow this, but if your not sure just ask at CS. HTH

      • Christine

I used those coupons yesterday and got 2 deodarnts for just over $2… going back to get the body spray next!

        • uriko

Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me how much the price is on the AXE and where to find the coupons? Thanks so much!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know you can get coupons for margaritaville seafood at margaritavillefoods.com. I am so THANKFUL for this site and I can only imagine the work that goes into it! Thank you so much!!!!!

    • Mindyinsc

So I have to share my Publix story from yesterday. Not only was this a HUGE saving day for me (only been couponing about 2 months now), spent 208.00 only owed 22.00! But my cashier was AMAZING! She asked me where I got a couple coupons and I told her at Bi-Lo in the Family and Food booklet. We get to talking and we are both unhappy RN's who quit our highly stressful careers, were in total financial shock when you see what you made in one day as an RN is now your paycheck for an entire week, started couponing to make ends meet, and are both so much happier, less stressed, and spending so much more quality time with our families!! So we both live on a tighter budget now, but totally worth it and not to mention fun to find all these deals! She was on my mind all day, so when I stopped at Bi-Lo I picked her up a booklet. I appreciate all the support I received when I got started and am more than happy to help out a fellow newbie! This sight is awesome and Jenny your hard work is appreciated on more levels than you can ever imagine!!

      • Phillphorner

Wow that is amazing just cant seem to figure out how to do that…

      • Rebeccalamb1018

I too am an highly stressed RN who is 10 wks preg and is totally planning to quit or go super part time after the baby gets here. I am still not a pro at this though.. but I have put my costs in half…

FYI-the Hillshire lunchmeat printable coupon is for a bigger size than what's listed. It was a no go for me. I still used the Publix coupon on it though since we needed it anyway.

    • Biduf25

For some reason I was only able to get one of the 50/1 velveeta q…. I'm not going to get frustrated though…. I kind of feel like 1.92 for velveeta is a good price no matter what… anyone else able to only get one?

      • Natalie559

Yep- I have noticed some of targets coupons have changed to print limit 1

      • missyl

I couldn’t find the coupons either- it must have reached the print limit. But 1.92 for velveeta is a really good price… I will be getting 4 on my trip tomorrow! :)

Is anyone else having trouble matching up their coupons with what's listed below the item. For example, the only salsa coupon I have in my 1/30 SS is not for Pace. Also, the Knorr coupon is not in my 1/30 RP. Has anyone else had the problem?

      • Christy12

-.60/2 Pace salsa or queso, 15 oz +, RP 1/30 (I only came across it looking for another one…)

      • Carly

I am having the same problem…not finding the coupons in RP or SS for 1/30 for Knorr or Mt. Olive pickles.

        • smitty

          i had both…in atlanta

I sent my husband to Publix for the B1G1 Carroll Shelby's chili mix… This was a bad experience b/c the manager said she had no clue about that being on sale. when I got the real sales flier she was right! NO sale on chili mix…

My husband is never going back to the store for me.

      • augustagirl

My sales do not always match up to Jenny’s! I have learned to check her’s then check the sale paper at publix.com for my store. I’ve been upset quite a few times and learned my lesson the hard way.

    • Tammie

NEW facebook coupon for Breakstone sour cream for 50 cents (chip-dip-kick challenge)

    • Debbye

Several people have mentioned that the Carroll Shelby's Chili kits are not on sale in some stores. Does anyone know if they are on sale in Columbia, SC? And is it only the regular chili kit or does it include the White Chili Kit?

    • Brainardcoupons

In Florida, does anyone know if you have to purchase all quantities of an item that is on sale like “5 for $5″…do you have to buy 5 to get the sale price? I know the B1G1 you do, but I wasn't sure about the others. Thanks for your help.

      • no, you can just buy one for the discounted pricing.

      • Racefanw3

ishop at publix in lake city fl and i can buy the quanity i need

      • wilarcec

IF IS B1G1 YOU HAVE TO TAKE BOTH.

        • rach

at mine you dont have to buy both, you can just get one and get it for half price

    • Another great week at Publix! Sometimes I feel a little sorry for myself that we don't have very many stores to choose from here in FL, but the past few weeks have been amazing. I definitely needed to stock up on cheese & cream cheese this week, so I was psyched by all the good dairy deals. Unfortunately the Kraft 2% singles are not included in the sale, but I still was able to stock up on a lot of other items.

I ended up spending $37.49 & saving $106.07 (74%). Not quite as good as last week, but still a great shopping trip. (Click my name for picture & detailed coupon info.)

      • Save1moredollar

If you have a WinnDixie or SweetBay, both of those stores have Kraft Singles for $1.66 ea, if I remember correctly.

    • Marlinttjp

also just printed a $2.00 phazyme coupon from same web site as $2.00 somiex

    • April

I don't know what insert the coupon was from but I have a $1 off of any SeaPak item that you could use with the BOGO deal. It expires 1-31-11 if that helps. I just happened to remember seeing it.

      • If it expires 1-31-11, then it is already expired.

      • studentcouponer

It is in the SS 1/30 and it doesnt expire until 3/31/11

    • Andrea Cooper25

Price of Oscar Meyer hotdogs anyone know??

      • Joynunez24

I'm pretty sure they are around 3.99. There is a $1/2 coupon on the Target site.

    • softballmom

My publix (Calera, AL) did not have the Zephyrhills Water 24pk. for $2.99. They did however have the AquaPods 2/$3. The coupon for Zephyrhills also includes the AquaPods so I was able to get them for $0.50 a piece! Great buy since Spring is coming and they will be needed for softball season!

      • Nikkibishopmy31

AWESOME!! Im in Bessemer! Hope this deal if for my store too!!

    • foggy

just wondering do you have to buy so much at publix before coupons double

      • Larbars

No. Every coupon that is .50 or less doubles right after they scan it. Beauty!

I wonder why Florida does not double the cpn. My Publix manager want me to investigate this more as he wants to double the cpns if he can. Any help??

        • NonDescriptMember

Or Dothan, AL — No doubling (I believe this is the Jacksonville District).

        • Bkbbmullins

          No doubling in Bluffton, SC

    • confused shopper

Has anyone had an issue with Publix only letting you use one coupon from the Green Advatange Ad? The language at the bottom states “one deal per coupon per customer”. I took this to mean that if you have 3 coupons and buy three items, then you could use all three. Thanks! :)

      • softballmom

I'm not sure where you are located but I had an issue with this last week but when I went in today the cashier (who checks me out weekly) told me that at their store they had a big pow-wow about this and said that we could use as many of the same Publix coupons at one time as we wanted that there was no longer a limit. I currently shop in Calera, AL. HTH!

      • Lori

I've always used several with each transaction. I do believe the wording just means one coupon for each deal, not for each transaction.

        • Save1moredollar

My Publix let me use multiples of the coupons, too. Since they don't say “per transaction” or “per visit” that makes sense to me. What wouldn't make sense (again, to me) would be using a single coupon for say, $3/2 to take $9/6. Like you have to have a coupon for each deal.

      • confused shopper

I am in Tennessee. The cashier I had yesterday told me that I could only get one publix store coupon deal per person. She said that she would go ahead and let me get the 4 dove deodorants this time, but next time I would be limited to one. This was acutally one of the nicer coupon friendly cashiers. I wanted to ask the manager, but did not want to hold up the line more than I already had.

      • Freemn4

I shopped today and had the cashier kindly tell me that I could only use one of the Publix coupons per visit. She let me use two today though as a courtesy (Rotel $0.75 off of 3 coupon) since I had 6 cans. In the past I had been able to use more than one Publix coupon. Maybe they are changing their policy?

    • Lmpate

Anybody know how you get $.50 on the newman's salsa?

      • MissG818

        It is on southernsavers.com.

        • Lmpate

I got the math of them being $1.00 and that's with my coupon doubling. Jenny has .50-1.00. Just curious if I was missing something

    • Minkyatee

Nestle family. Game day celebration. The Ultimate Family Football Party. On Facebook. You may need to register on their site, but its worth it.

    • Larbars

ROTEL DICED TOMATOES: I have a coupon on SS 1/23 for 25 cents off one can. So I don't get lots of Jenny's coupons, but I get some that she doesn't? Has anyone else discovered this? …that you get coupons Jenny's paper doesn't get?

      • Lmpate

I got it too. Thank you for pointing that out!! I love money makers :)

      • augustagirl

Yes! I don't always have the same coupons Jenny does but sometimes I have different ones. I always go through mine after I check what I want to buy and see what other coupons I have.

      • Proleary2004

        True for me too.

      • Rrbarr

Ditto for me here in Griffin, GA close to Atlanta. Also, a lot of the time when hers are listed as $1/1 mine are $1/2 and vice versa.

    • Fishnfools97

Was so excited when I got to Publix yesterday and found some more manufacturer Kraft cheese coupons in the store! I had already max'd out my prints so I saved even more!!

    • Kristinp Nelson

I need a little help :) I appreciate all that Jenny does to get this together for us, but I'm not sure I am following it correctly. The date that is listed beside the item (for example: the Pace Chunky Salsa, SS1/30) I know the SS stands for Smart Source, but when I look in my SS flyer for 1/30, I'm not finding that coupon. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks :)

      • Mylexis

        Its in the RP 1/30

      • Proleary2004

It wasn't in mine at all.

      • There are regional variations that occur in newspaper inserts. It could be that it is in one region and not the other, unfortunately.

        • Michelle

Are we able to order the coupons that didn't come in our ads? I would like to order the Krusteaz coupon but couldn't find anywhere on smartsource.com to do so.

          • Cevans3075

Order the coupons you need from ebay and use a dealer that is somewhat local and the coupons will come in a couple of days..usually before the sale goes off..I live in Ga and always order from Fla and my coupons always come in time..be careful of exp dates and make sure the coupons say they can double..good luck

      • Mande Cauley

I didn't have that coupon either, but in the RedPlum 1/30 and a couple other redplums they have the Pace coupons, but they are only $.35, but it still makes it a pretty good deal.

    • Tpchef

The Hillshire Farm lunchmeat is NOT on sale at my Publix – anyone else have this issue?

      • Cheryl

Not on sale at mine either in Franklin, TN.

      • Wendy

I thought the same…but found out its the cardboard box meats not the plastic tubbs. Was so excited when i found it this week and got 1 off 2 in publix q and 1 off 2 manu q. Made them each a one dollar.

      • the deal is for the smaller boxes, and yes the coupon do not match up. the coupons are for 8oz tubs.

Good thing I have so many coupons that I can make this same purchase again tomorrow. safe to say I will be bringing the plated and Rotel dip to the Super Bowl Party!! Everyone Keep up the good work! All your info makes trips like this happen.

      • LovingQP's

        Oh and I forgot….Used the $5/$30 Winn-Dixie Ad

    • Scrooge

Was just told by my Publix Manager, who also coupons, that Publix is announcing in the next week that ALL Publix stores will NO longer be accepting non-grocery store competitor coupons!!! (Wal,Rite,CVS) He is usually dead on with info so I will be using all the ones I have in the next couple of days.

      • Gamesrangel

My local Publix (Pooler, GA) is saying the same…I was told they will probably take them until March but you can never be sure.

      • Angie

Mine in North Alabama has been doing this for awhile (at least 6 months). But I still get good deals using Target and Walmart coupons.

    • Coupons090

there is a 1/1 ritz cracker on facebook you need a ritz recipe.photo .and to enter the recipe challenge .its easy took me 2 min. i just used any old photo.

Can anyone let me know where I can find the -$10 Mail in Rebate WYB $35 rebate form? mahala1066@gmail.com

      • happymom

It was at the customer service dask in my store, but some stores may have a display or keep them in the turnstyle by the door.

        • Mahala1066

          Thank you!!!

    • Michelle

Just an FYI there was a Philadelphia Cream Cheese (M) coupon for $.50/2 and a Target $.50/2. Both were printable coupons that I don't think are available anymore but if you printed earlier you may want to use them. I didn't see them listed above with the match ups. If you purchase two this will make them $.50 each.

    • Tashamlindsey

Looking for a little advice. I was looking at the Lipton tea deal at walgreens. It is 1.90 for 100 ct reg Lipton or 48 ct decaf. Is this good or will it go cheaper AT publix? Also the same for sloppy peanut butter?

    • I found the Carroll Shelby's white chicken chili kit with peelies for $1 off each! This made it only 19 cents for 2! It cooking right now and smells soooooo good! Tonight my family of 4 is eating for $4.53! Plus I have plenty of cheese and sour cream to add to the chili as desired by each of us! Yippppeeee!

      • Dixie

Where did you find those kits? I could not find them at the store and didn't know exactly where to look–should have asked, but didn't have time.

        • My store usually has them on the very top or very bottom shelf where the sauce mixes are kept. They are not sold in the little paper bag anymore. They are in a small box now.

      • Dklong

Publix stores in Atlanta area say they are not B1G1. Where is your publix store. They will only honor what is advertised in the flyer.

    • julie

My publix has Bailey's coffee creamer (liquid) 16 oz, 2/$1.50. There is a coupon dispenser with $1 off. Gets you the creamer for 50 cents.

    • julie

oops. meant to say $1.50 each

    • Wendy

Publix in Tuscaloosa has Corndogs on sale B1G1 and there were coupons in the Sunday paper for 0.55 cents off. Great stockup for on the run weeknight meals.

      • Abi

There are $1/1 State Farm corn dog coupons on their facebook page – got them for less than $1 a box! YAY!

    • Aliciawhite2

I love your program and I'm still learning alot of the tricks of shopping with coupons. One thing I did notice is when I click on the printable coupons they are not there. I spend time searching through the entire site of coupons. Any advice on this??

      • Aliak2002

Sign up for SouthernSavers Deals in your Inbox at the top of the page. You will get daily emails with the new coupons. You can then print them before others do. I have never had a time when the print limit was reached!

    • Highflywren

      Does Publix take Target coupons?

      • Mandy

Some stores do, some don't. you have to ask at cust service

      • Tony.B.

that depends on your Publix, you need to ask. Normally they do if there is a super Target nearby.

      • Rebekah B

My Publix in AL told me no, I can not use target or wal greens, cvs.

      • Lmpate

It depends. I've been told that the Target has to be within a 5 mile radius of Publix. My Publix in AL takes them, but Target is right next door.

    • Carlie

Where do you get your prices? My publix prices do not match… they had the Hilshire farm sandwich meat for 3.99 instead of 2

      • Jbush27

my store was the same price

      • Tangela

the meat is not the ones in the reusable plastic tubs, but in boxes usually hanging. It is only 5 oz.

        • correct but the coupons are so it doesnt work, the coupons are for 8oz and up

          • Tangela

true – I didn't use my 8oz coupon on those, but I did us the publix yellow advantage flyer coupon for the 5 oz

      • Dixie

Some prices are different in different regions, but I'll bet you were looking at the 9 oz tub instead of the 5 oz hanging ones. I did the same thing at first, and our 9 oz were 3.99 as well.

    • Tangelab

I can't get the coupons from “Smart Source” to print, it's saying I don't have their coupon application installed. It's not giving me an option to be able to download it, and I've printed coupons from smart source before with no problems. Any suggestions???? Thanks!!

      • Mom2maddy2000

It's been acting up on me too. I noticed that if I hit my back button, it will finally print. Also, changing browsers sometimes helps.

    • Eae1959

This was a different situation at Publix today, I had two $5 coupons one from ALbertsons ad off $50 and Winn Dixie Ad off $30. The cashier asked for my coupons before she started ringing and layed them all out, as she rang she pulled the coupons and took it off. This was bringing my total down and I was concerned that the $50 might be an issue, it wasnt, but what should I have done if it had been. I needed to have $50 in sales before the $5 would be accepted. Then she said I would need $80 to take the Winn Dixie. I had $82 and that was after all the coupons. I ended up with $115 for $72 ( husband and his I have to haves are killing me.)…..Any ideas on how bad this could have gone.????

      • CCShad

This is something new happening at two stores I shop in Mt. Pleasant, SC. They both take the $10 off $40 Harris Teeter q, but now they ring all other q's first. I was told I could not use the HT q if my total AFTER q's was less than $40. I see that this is fair, though, b/c the HT q says the same thing if you read the fine print – $40 must be spent AFTER coupons.

    • Julie Mars

Any ideas on why the honest ade coupons won't print for me? I've done everything correctly on my end and am using compatible computer settings they say I need…

      • Dakirk

Have you tried the Honest Ade??? I did and thank goodness it was free…after one sip, the rest went in the trash!

      • I cannot get them to print either…

    • Danielle

I dont see them listed above but in the Atlanta Journal SS for 1/23 there are Kraft coupons for $1 off 2. Great for stacking with the Target coupons. I also got Kroger home mailer in the mail on Friday for a free bag of Lay's chips that I used at Publix and got both of my bag free.

    • Jkaymr

I just went to publix in Valdosta, GA and was very disappointed. They will not take Target coupons anymore as of Feb 1st. They said it is because we don't have a Super Target in the area. I plan on taking my business elsewhere.

      • tori729

Our Publixes (upstate SC) haven't been taking Target coupons in awhile. I can understand their reasoning since they're not technically competitors. The store doesn't get reimbursed for comp. coupons so they are doing you a service to take them.

    • tg

Publix in Lexington, SC (one on Old Cherokee) will not take Target coupons. Funny that they advertise that they take competitor's coupons. I will not be going back there. Without coupons, their prices are too high and the store isn't overly appealing.

      • tori729

Again, Publix doesn't get reimbursed for comp. coupons so they are doing you a service to take them. Target isn't technically a competitor if they don't have a full grocery section. Plus, there are plenty of actual grocery stores that they should accept coupons from. It's still a good deal to me!

      • None of the Publix in Columbia or Lexington take Target or Drugstore coupons. Most will only take Food Lion, Kroger, Bi-Lo, etc. I don't blame you for not liking the Lexington store. I have heard they are not as coupon friendly. Try the store at Murray Landing (across the Dam) it is very nice and they have GREAT customer service.

    • Monica

Can someone tell me where the tearpads are and how do I get home mailers?

      • Mceccofiglio

tear-pads can be on the store shelves close to the product or at the service desk…you may have to ask for them…and as for how you get home mailers some are hit or miss but others you can sign up for on the manufactures website….hope this helps….

      • Look for any kind of Stackout or cardboard displays in the stores as well. They often have tearpads on them.

    • Dakirk

I was pulling my Ro-tel coupons and realized the deal is even better than .10 per can! Use the B3G1 (All You) 3–.25/1 Rotel & the .75/3 Target Q. Get four cans for a .l7 money maker!

      • Mechlingfamily

There's a SS 1/23 coupon also. Mine is 50 cents off.

    • aurora0081

I went to Publix today and one my list was the Breakstone Sour Cream. They were out so I went to Customer Service to see if they had anymore and if not to get a rain check. They told me to go check out and they would bring me either the sour cream or rain check. They brought me 4 sour creams, we finished checking out but when I got home I realized they expire on the 14th, 9 days after my purchase. Normally I check expirations dates before I buy things, is this something I can return for ones that arent about to expire or do I just deal with it? Thanks for the help =)

      • Sabrina

        Definitely return for newer ones!!

      • Lewattsmag

You can also freeze sour cream to use in casseroles or recipes. It doesn't hold up well enough for a big dollop on a baked potato but does fine if you use it in something.

      • I just read today to turn them upside down in the frig this creates a vacuum and seals it to preserve it longer.

    • evansmom

Quick question… Publix in Evans, GA wouldn't let me use a manufacturer's coupon for a $1/2 Gerber Graduate's meals. The coupon was from Target, but clearly said 'manufacturer's coupon.' That didn't make sense to me… I think they were wrong! =) Although it's only a dollar, it's bugging me b/c I wouldn't have bought them!

    • Toneydtt

I am looking for a rebate form that is in one of the Publix booklets.. It is called Start your year out with big savings. If anyone has an extra rebate to share, I would really be happy. Thanks a bunch for looking in advance and reading this post.

      • Amanda A Abell

I have one if you want me to send it to you…

    • Leslie

      Scotttowels have $1/4 Mega Rolls etc…(makes $0.75)
Dixie Bowels have $2/2 tearpad (made $0.93 b/c I couldn't print the Rite Aide Q)
SeaPak $1/1 Popcorn Fish…my Publix allowed me to use 'em for any variey :)

    • sli

Just wondering if anyone else shops at Publix on Clemson Blvd. in Anderson, SC? I went there last night and they would not let me us a Target coupon – it was also a manufacturer's coupon??

      • evansmom

I asked the exact same thing last night, but haven't received a response yet. I shop at the Publix in Evans, Ga. That kind of ticked me off since it said manufacturer's!

        • Mrs. D

If the coupon says it is a manufacturer's coupon, it is NOT a Target coupon EVEN if it says redeem at Target on the coupon. If a cashier gives you a hard time about a coupon like that, politely ask to speak to the manager. Show them where it says manufacturer. If all else fails, see if you can get them to scan it — it should scan. If it was a Target coupon, they would have to type it in. Hope this helps!

    • Deb112

Quite disappointed last night; I went to the Publix @ Hoschton / Braselton, GA. and they would not take competitor coupons from Target either. I saved $68 on what I purchased, but would have had over $75 if I could have used those too. Manager said their only stores that accept competitor coupons are if they are located within a 6 mile radius. Yet they honored a Harvey's sugar coupon and I've never even heard of Harvey's! I suggested they change their coupon policy to reflect that if that's really their policy.

    • millie

my publix hasn't accepted comp coupons for a while now, before halloween for sure. they will only take manuf. and publix coupons. it is annoying when you go there with a plan and you don't find out about the change until you check out. they should put up signs anytime they make a huge change like that. i know it is still frustrating and nothing makes up for not being able to use a coupon ;) good luck!

    • Amandpm8

Does anyone else have issues with printing targets coupons? No matter how many times I upload the coupon thing it will NOT let me print! Any suggestions? They have a lot of good coupons and it is VERY frustrating

      • LizzyD

        try a different browser??,,,,

      • Kmerritt86

We use Google Chrome as a browser and it will not let me print off any coupons, so I always have to use Internet Explorer.

    • Dee

there is a printable oscar mayer coupon at target for $1 off the purchase of 2. I came accross this when trying to print something else and noticed the oscar mayer hot dogs are b1g1 at publix.

    • Rhonda

When you B1G1 can you use a coupon on the free one? Just learning.

      • Sandy

yes you can my daughter have done it

      • Superkc65

yes, you can use them on both! so take two! most publix will ring them up as 1/2 off instead of one free.

      • L. Whitt

It depends on the store. My Publix won't allow it. But give it a try!

      • crystalfawn

        Absolutely!!!! :-) Central Florida

    • Sszgorlott

      sure can

    • Lauren

Just a few issues with the coupon matchups: the Hillshire Farms meat that is on sale is the 5 oz. package, but the coupon matched with it is only good on 8 oz. and larger packages. Still a good deal on the meat though, even without the coupons. Also, the Kraft singles that are listed as $2.50 don't include the 2% milk singles, which is what the coupon is good for. The 2% singles are on sale for $2.99 though.

      • Birdy

I got the Kraft 2% cheese the other day for .67 cents at Winn Dixie… It was on sale for $1.67!!

    • Eae1959

Publix corporate office is located in Lakeland Florida, maybe a few phone calls with questions on their coupon policy may help others. If they realize their is an issue they may consider resolving the issue, they need to know whats going on in their stores…800-242-1227….

      • Csjsdangels5

I live in Lakeland and our Publix takes Target and also resently found out they take SweetBay. We dont even have a Sweet Bay close by but the customer service said they are in our region so they take them.

    • Kristy

Made 75 cents each on dove deodorant tonight. It was on clearance sale for $2.25. Use $2/1 mfc & $1 off yellow Publix cpn.

    • Mtanksley824

I went to go and get my Hillshire Farm ronight and they were not $2! I was sooo bummed! They were $3.99 each! So I decided not to get them

      • itismedia

It is for the smaller packages that hang rather than sit on the shelf. It is in a cardboard case instead of a plastic tub. HTH

        • Guest

which the coupon for 2 dollar off any 2 can't be used as they are not 8 oz.

          • itismedia

I used the Yellow flyer (1.00/2 5oz or larger) and two 1.00/1 ANY HS farms from the website. It made two packs 1.00 or .50 each.

    • Suzyqweed

If you are military and live by a commissary, then they are considered a competitor. My Publix accepts commissary coupons which can be stacked with manufacturer's coupons. The commissary always has a huge selection of tearpads.

      • Guest

        mine does not :)

    • Kbl1949

Does anyone know if the Publix on Harbison or Broad River rd. in Columbia, SC accepts Target or drugstore coupons?

    • KimPossible3847

My Publix on Madison Blvd in Madison, AL has their Honey Cured Spiral Sliced bone-in hams on sale for .99 a pound. I got two 8lb hams for $8.00 each. I'm cooking one for sandwiches and freezing one for Easter!

    • Mamato6chicks

Some of the suggested coupons are not applicable. For instance the suggested .75/1 Kraft Sandwich Shop mayo. to use with the Kraft Mayo, etc. deal won't work. The sale is for 30oz. & the coupon is for 12oz. The product names do not match up either.
Another is the Hillshire Farm Deli deal for $2. The sale is for 5-6oz. The coupons in the newspaper fliers are for 8oz. or larger only.

      • Mamaberry

It's all about regional variations and listing any possibilities. Some regions may have the sandwich shop variety on sale so Jenny shows all possibilities. Also, q's are regional too. What I get in the Central FL area is not always the same product q you may get say in ATL. Or the sizes on the q's may be different too, or I may not get it at all.

I know it can get confusing, but Jenny doesn't put something up to deceive. If she listed it, it applies in some region with their variations, or MAY apply to your area at times it doesn't apply to hers.

        HTH!!!

    • Aparcheta

There are several things on this list that has a target coupon listed. The Publix's I went to would not take them. Is it a store to store policy or where they suppose to let me use them?

      • Mamaberry

ymmv… each store can decide what competitor q's to take. I have two stores close, one will take and one will not. (actually changed from my preferred store to the one that will take them) If there are others around, call a few and see who takes what. hth!!!

    • Bhester78

I am having trouble figuring out how she is coming up with her number. i.e – price per item. Example: (From Above) Knorr Sides, 3.8-6.4 oz. pouch (excluding Sides Plus), $1.29 (64¢) -.50/2 Knorr Rice and Pasta sides, RP 1/30
      (makes it 14¢)
You have to buy 2 to use the coupon, right? Making it 0.79 for 2 or 0.39 each.
Is there a way around this?

      Thanks.

      • Amie

She is doubling the .50/2 coupon. Some Publix will double coupons, I believe .50 or less. I'm in FL and our Publix does not double.

      • Neelix19

1.29 for 2 less the .50 coupon which Publix will double to a 1.00 so price for 2 is 29/2

    • Jcwilli52

Publix here in snellville ga., was told not to accept the rite coupon for dixie plates
