Here are the deals at Publix this week starting 6/24 or 6/25. I think this is a pretty good week.

Don’t forget the Health and Beauty and Food Advantage Buy Deals (the healthy deals expire Friday so a new list should be out soon. Check out the Food Lion Printable coupons before you go shopping. Remember that you can use a competitor coupon for house brand items on Publix house brands.

I will update this list with the math for deals in the morning…

There are also lots of Publix coupons out thanks to Kraft.

Remember:
1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price
2. If you do buy 2 items that are B1G1 make sure you use 2 coupons to get the best deal
3. Publix accepts competitors coupons (you can stack with a manufacturers coupon and a Publix coupon too)
4. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item
5. Most Publix locations double manufacturer coupons that are.50¢ or less

** #1 and #5 do not apply in FL and coastal GA**

You can go to http://www.Postcereals.com and print $2 coupons for the Trail Mix Crunch cereal.

    • beth

Any idea when chicken stock, bread crumbs, tomato products, stuff like this will be on sale again? I havent’ seen sales on these in forever…. HELP!!

    • Susan

There are $2 Trail Mix Crunch coupons on the Post website.

    • Melissa

Is there another link for the Ragu? This one prints in Spanish…

    • beth

it’s okay if it prints in spanish, they’ll still take them. I had the same problem even though I selected English as my language.

    • Farrah

      Melissa,
My Publix in Bessemer accepted the spanich coupons a couple of weeks ago no problem. Just thought I’d let you know. Good luck!

    • Kaela

The Spanish one worked fine for me last week when I used it.

    • JEB

Just found a deal on Softsoap…There are Softsoap with aloe in value size that are advantage buy for .99. Not sure how long they will be on advantage buy. On an endcap next to Softsoap, toothpaste, Irish Spring, there are tear pads for toiletry items. There is a .50 off Softsoap Q that doubles, making it free. I was good and only took 2. This will help our donations our church is collecting for women’s shelter.

    • Donna

I tried the Foodlion $3 off $10 coupon on purchasing lunch meat and the cashier wouldn’t take the coupon anyone else having trouble with that one? i’m in Chattanooga, TN

      • Jenny

        Donna,

That is a tough coupon. It says $3 off $10 in Deli, so you are good, however it has no numbers under the bar code… that is the way that they all print from that promotion that Food Lion ran. So there are going to be cashiers that just don’t know what to think.

    • Donna – the coupon is meant to work with their meal deal. Publix has a meal deal on sale this week, so you should be ok using it on that.

    • My stores still do not have these books in!! I am very very frustrated! If anyone has extra please email me and we can set up some shipping… I would really hate to miss out on these deals!!
      huneybunch4@yahoo.com

    • Donna

Thanks Amy! i’m still learning the ropes ; )

    • The books I am referring to is Family is its own reward

    • Here in Aiken, SC, they will take FLIPs, but only for specific items. No $/$$ coupons at all. Oh well! I still manage to do pretty well :o)

    • Thank you Jenny! (too quick to hit submit)

    • The policy for the Publix store in Ooltewah, TN (near Chatt.) is that they will only accept item coupons from competitors and not $ off $$ purchase. This also applies to the $2 off $5 Produce FLIP. I’ve been told recently by a cashier that they are no longer doubling competitor coupons and will no longer stack a manufacture coupon with a Publix coupon. They will continue stacking a manufacture coupon with a competitor store coupon, as long as neither prohibits it. Just some updates on this particular store.

    • Pam

I still can’t find the Family is its oun Rewards–Chattanooga, TN Pam

    • jennifer

The Publix at Kennerly/Briver no longer accepts FL coupons for Publix house brand products.

    • Clay

There is a Target $1/2 Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs coupon in my AJC 4/19 SS if you store takes Target coupons.

    • Kelly

Not sure if the new FL coupons are up yet on this site, but they have a 1.00 off Glad trash combine that with the mfQ 1.00 off makes it 3.49. They also have 2.00 off meat or chicken when you purchase 2 lawry’s marinades which are already BOGO. Makes for some decent deals.

    • Sherry

      Pam,
I live in Chatta. and I found the Family is its own Reward booklet at the E. Brainerd Publix last week. They had a display set up over by the
bakery side of the store. The books where on the display.

    • I can not find the Kraft site that has coupons good for any store. I found the Publix site.

    • Becky

On the Family is its own Reward booklet: it seems the promotion is regional as to when each Publix displays them. They finally came out with them in Birmingham, AL area about a week ago. And I even got an email from Publix confirming it would be in the Bham area at that time. THAT is why some of us could not find those mysterious booklets for the longest time!! SO, if you see a coupon booklet advertised and you can’t find it, that might be why. :)

    • Jerica

If I use a coupon from All You and then print a coupon online for the same product, same amount, do they accept both even if they are both mfg coupons? Or do they only accept one mfg coupon?

    • Shannon

      Jerica,
Publix will only accept one manf coupon per item purchased. You can stack store coupons with manf, but not two manf.

    • Cori

I have also found that even though it does not state DND on the coupons from family is its own reward, they don’t double or triple (tried at Blooms to use these) because the bar code begins with 9.

    • Kim

Wow I actually think I am skipping Publix this week! I have so much cereal and BBQ sauce and Ragu I don’t know what to do. I might get some of the Land of Lakes …. I have been waiting on to go back on BOGO but then I bought some I can’t believe its not butter.

    • Alison

Does anyone know the individual sale price on Pepsi 12 packs?

    • i printed 8 of the coupons from the post site (thanks to switching computers repeatedly at the library) and got 8 boxes for 44 cents. technically, they were free, since tax was 48 cents. thanks for the link! trail mix crunch is awesome.

    • Emily

Why doesn’t my 6/21 SS insert have certain coupons I am needing? Seems like at least 3 or 4 that are mentioned on this website that I haven’t found- like that $1/ OM Franks.

    • Donna

Chattanooga Publix’s are out of Family is its own Reward booklet as of last night, I even asked at customer service : (

    • Alison

The Ooltewah, TN Publix usually keeps these booklets behind the customer service counter. The manager said when they put them out certain persons would take the entire stack. Then when questioned about it would become angry and refuse to put some back. Things like that make couponers look stingy. Please remember that they are “giving” these to us and we must save some for others.

    • Pam

Thank you Sherry, I was looking at the display inside the front door.
      Pam

    • Stacey

Donna, the Ooltewah Publix will not take Food Lion coupons for a certain amount off produce/deli/bakery/etc. If the Food Lion coupon specifically states an item (apples/carrots/ham/turkey/etc.) then they will accept the coupon. This has been their policy for several months now.
According to another website (don’t remember which one) the Ooltewah Publix has been the target of several unethical couponers in relation to the FL cqs and they’ve had to adopt stricter policies than some of the other locations.

    • Dear Stacey and Donna,
My name’s Jamie(I run the blog http://www.chattanoogacheapskate.com) and I’m starting up a local couponer’s forum for EXACTLY these kinds of issues. I feel like I never know what I’ll walk into when I am entering a Bi-Lo or Publix that’s not my usual one. Heck! Even my usual one seems to change its policy by the week or by the cashier… Anyway- if you guys would like to talk more about local coupon issues, tips, hints, etc… Please stop by, I’m hoping we can get a real forum rolling for we Tennessee girls! (P.S. I live in Cleveland!)

    • Kimberly

Has anyone found the Summer savings booklet (the spiral bound one) in Chattanooga or Ooltewah?

    • Kimberly-
I found the Summer Savings Booklet(The large yellow one, but no spiral binding) at the Ooltewah Publix in a big cardboard display next to Customer Service. They’re putting them out in stages, because of all the Pamphlet Pilferers out there. Just ask Customer Service, explain you haven’t gotten one yet, and they’ll give you one if there are none out. There is also a Keith Urban book AND a new Greenwise book- here’s where I found them and what’s inside: http://chattanoogacheapskate.wordpress.com/2009/06/24/publix-new-coupon-books/

    • I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! I finally got my 5 copies of Family its own reward! Will work great with this weeks deals! I had to go to to 2 stores to find it but I did!! Yay!

    • Kimberly

Jamie, Thank you! I know about the pilferers. I have been there when a woman has grabbed ten or more! It’s crazy – I just want one! I did get the Greenwise in the meail today and then the Keith Urban one last week at Publix.

Thanks for letting me know – I will be heading to Ooltewah tomorrow morning – I hope they still have one!

    • teresa

The kraft coupon link above prints coupons that say retailer not manufacturer, redeem at PUBLIX. I printed the $2/2 crystal light.

A while back I printed some $2/2 crystal light and those do say MFR not retailer, the coupons look exactly the same except for some of the numbers in some of the bar codes.

Can I use both of these to get free Crystal Light?

    • Angie

Are the prices going to be posted tonight ? That sure makes it easier to know what you can spend at the store before you go ! ha Too much math for me!

    • Emily-
Some coupons are regional, and your region’s paper may not receive them. I know here in Chattanooga, TN. area we miss out on about 1/3 of the coupons listed. And yes, it’s usually all the really good ones.
If you have a family member or friend who lives in a big city(they get the best paper inserts!) ask if they would mind sending you their inserts every couple weeks! I asked my Nanny in Louisville- she’s super sweet. But she runs about 2 months behind…..

    • Lisa

      Aymie-

If I remember correctly, you are in Merritt Island?? Where did you find the Family is it’s own reward book? I’m in Cocoa…

    • I found the Smart Summer Savings and the Family is its own Reward booklet today. I guess the stores just put them out here. Anywho, there is a Sara Lee $1 coupon in the Smart Summer Savings booklet!

    • Katie

My question is similar to Teresa’s. The Kraft coupons say retailer coupon/redeem at Publix. Are these store coupons or manufacturers coupons and can they be used at another store? Bi Lo has a lot of good deals that could use these coupons.

    • Vicki

I have a quick question about coupons.

If I have a coupon that is, let’s say, buy 1 Ragu sauce get one free and I have a second coupon that’s .50 of one can of Ragu sauce. Could I use both of those together and get .50 of the one I have to pay for and than still get the other can free? Both coupons would be manufactured coupons.

    • Jennifer

Has anyone picked up the Family is its own Reward at the Ooltewah, TN Publix? I asked at Customer Service tonight and the employee had not heard of that one.

    • Cristina

I found a Huggies mega pack on clearance at publix today (in a shopping cart at the front of the store) for $7.49. It had a $2 off coupon on it. Coupled with the $2 off coupon in the circular, that’s 60 diapers for $3.50!

    • Jamie,
I live in Marietta, GA. now, but I am from Cleveland. I have family in Cleveland and I also have a home in Georgetown. I come to the area about two times per month so I can go to Bi-Lo and other stores. Where I live in Marietta, I can travel no more than five miles from home and shop at 4 Publix stores, 3 Kroger stores, 2 CVS, 3 Rite Aids, and 2 Walgreens. What I have found is that it is up to the cashier as to how the coupons are scanned. I have also shopped in the Ooltewah Publix several time and each time it has been different. I did ask one manager in a Publix and he did say it is up to the individual manager what they do. Not much the same at any store. For the one who live in Marietta I shop at the Publix stores at Sandy Plains and Shallowford roads, Hyw. 92 and Sandy Plains Road, and Hwy. 92 and Trickum Road. Maybe we will see each other someday.
      Happy couponing.

      Susan

    • Susan,
I’ve spoken with the regional managers a couple of times- trying my darndest to pin down a solid policy to go by- and in the end, I found out just what you are saying. While Publix has a general policy about say, accepting competitor coupons – each store can decide who is a competitor, which coupons are ok, how to interpret the fine print on a coupon(i.e. one per purchase), etc… The Ooltewah Publix will be changing their coupon policy soon to possibly exclude drugstores and some others as competitors. (I found this out from the Customer Service Manager, Amanda) When it does finally change, it will be posted to the front door so that we are all- rather literally- on the same page.
I hope we do run into each other one day- the sisterhood of coupon-ladies has to stick together!

    • Jenny from FL

      Aymie & Lisa (#44)
I live in MI and go to the Publix on 520 & Courtenay. They DO have the “Family is its own reward” booklets BUT they have cut them all apart and taped each coupon to the product that it belongs with or on the door to the frozen products that they are matched up with. I just happened to be in there LATE Sat night and noticed the Breyers Q’s taped to the door. I helped myself to all 5 of them hoping to make it to Target to get in on their deal but it was too late. This store has done this for several of the last few booklet publications. I just stayed in the store and cruised every aisle and took four of every coupon that I would use. Imagine that, but three of the coupons are good on BOGO deals this week!

My question to everyone…should I complain to Publix corporate about this procedure and is this happening in any other stores?

    • Tracie

      *Family Is It’s Own Reward-Found*

I picked up this booklet at Publix tonight. It was at the Publix/Chastain Square location, on Roswell Rd in Atlanta. They are located in the back of the store in a display in the meat department.

      Good luck!

    • Mina

Jenny in FL, I don’t think you have much to complain about. That type of coupon book is put out by the manufacturer, not the chain. Stores make agreements with them. If your store chooses to place the coupons in a manner that they think will increase sales of the particular products within their store (which is the reason they carry them), then I doubt that corporate will fuss with them over it, especially if you tell them that you were searching them out to use at Target. ;-) You might have more luck talking to Unilever, since these are their books and their products, though they are probably happy to have stores distribute those q’s any way that increases sales of the items being advertised.

I haven’t seen that done at any stores in my area. Gosh! I have a difficult enough time tearing out individual q’s to use. It seems like it would take a LOT of time to cut up the entire shipment and tape them to products. Each store only gets a limited number of books. It probably wouldn’t hurt to ask the Customer Service desk if they have any. Ours keeps them behind the counter, and you have to ask in order to get one.

    • Kelly

I used my FLIP of 2 off 5 on produce at Ooltewah Publix yesterday and they took it, hmmm.

Changing the coupon policy might be because of me:( I spread the word about the Target coupon for MorningStar stuff last week and I think it took a huge hit on them. It was all ethical and on the up and up but I don’t think they expected it. Sorry.

    • Jerica #25; you can’t use two manufacturer cpns on the same item; but you can use a manufacturer and a store cpn on the same item. Check at your customer service desk to confirm to save frustration though. But when in doubt I always confirm with Corporate if the store doesn’t seem to really know…HTH’s.
      Visit me at TheSavingsPlace.blogspot.com.

      Happy Shopping!

    • Kelly-
Don’t worry- I’m sure it wasn’t because of you- this was probably 4 or 5 weeks ago when they told me about the upcoming policy change. And as for Morningstar Farms- I was standing at the Customer Service counter getting a rain check, when the manager started getting excited about someone clearing out the shelves of Morningstar products! She said they’d ordered so much in preparation, that she was so glad it was selling like hotcakes!
Can I ask, when they took your $2/$5 Produce, was it a regular cashier, or a customer service person, or just the magical coupon fairy? I don’t know ANYBODY who’s been able to use those!
If you want to share with just we locals, I’ve started up a Chattanooga/Clevelander forum right here:
      http://chattanoogacheapskate.wordpress.com/local-ladies-coupon-forum/

    • Lisa

Thanks for the info, Jenny in FL

    • Amber

Hopefully not a repeat b/c I didn’t get a chance to scan all the comments, but there is a $1.75/1 Maxwell House Coffee (32 oz or larger) coupon in the Kraft Simply Delicious coupon booklet. Makes for some pretty cheap coffee!

does any one know what is the diffrence between a manf. coupon and a retailor coupon are they booth manf? or can i use one of each?

    • There is a coupon for a free reusable green bag when you buy any two participating Betty Crocker products… Will work great with the potatoes!

    • Lisa
I live in Port Saint John the Publix that had the book was the one on Clearlake by the Washington Mutual and all that…
      They had quite a few…
You should call ahead of time and have them reserve it for you!

    • Jenny in FL
thats crazy!! I def would complain… what if you were in a rush?? Thats not fair to you that you have to go searching…
They shouldnt assume you are going to buy the products right there and then…
The Publix off of Clearlake near the Walmart has the books in tact!

    • Nicole

I just wanted to say thanks…The sales do not start here until Thursday. So I look forward every Wednesday to you post. Today I saved 76% on my bill… I love your site.

    • Lisa

Thanks Aymie, that’s the Publiux I regularly shop at, I guess I just missed them the other day? Are they on display? Thanks for responding :-)

    • Actually I did not see them on display.
I usually go to the PSJ Publix (I find the store nicer and the managers more friendly, plus its close to my house) but they didnt have any booklets left. I had CS call the one on Clearlake and they told them I was coming so they held 5 copies for me!

    • Ryann

I printed a Claussen pickle coupon for $1/2 from the same link as the Kraft BBQ sauce!

    • Tracie

Lean Cuisine is 4 for $10 this week and there is $1 off w/y/b 3 in the June All You magazine in the booklet on page 78.

    • Tracie
There is also a buy two get one free in the July all you…

    • Paige

I have 2 coupons for the KRaft BBQ sauce. One for $1 and the other is for $.75. This gives me $1.75 off, but if they are only $1.49, then that gives me a $.26 overage??? Is this right…or have I missed something???

    • Lauren

Anyone out there in Sarasota, FL? If so, have any of your found the Family Is Its Own Reward booklets at local Publix?

    • Christy

How do you get the booklets mailed to you at home? I’ve never seen any of these flyers at the Publix stores. I am now in Soddy Daisy, TN outside Chattanooga. I have changed to the Publix in Hixson and didn’t see a thing……

    • Lisa

      Lauren

The North Port Publix on US41 has a bunch of the Family Is Its Own Reward booklets. I just picked up one yesterday.

    • JMR

What Birmingham area stores have you seen the Family is It’s Own Reward booklets at? I’ve been to three and no luck.

    • Is it just me or are the cashiers starting to get very pissy and blameful lately??
I was in Publix earlier and it wasnt that busy. I had about 40 coupons or so and I even told her ahead of time that when she was finished I had a bunch of coupons for her to scan.
She then read the fine print on nearly every single one and I started getting extremly aggitated.
      I am not a criminal.
I do not steal, I do not kill people, I am kind to animals and children.
How dare she make me feel otherwise!!!!

    • Heather

I went to publix today and spent $42.70, saving $43.15. I went straight to customer service first to ask them if they would take the food lion coupons. After going up the ranks three times, the final answer was that they would take the $3 off $10 deli coupon, but not the $3 off “build your own meal” because they don’t have “build your own meal”. I said that I thought I could use it on the combo meal. They told me the combo meal was already on sale, so I played dumb and said, “ooooh, OK, thanks” and went ahead with my shopping. As it turned out, the boars head was on sale anyway and the board head didn’t end up being over $10 anyway, so, in essence, I did end up saving $3 on my combo meal. I’m just happy theu took the food lion coupon in the first place. we don’t have food lion in our county anymore, the nearest one is like, 3-5 hours away, so honestly, I was happy they accepted it. I didn’t buy enough deli stuff to total enough to use both coupons anyway.

Also, my husband drinks the starbucks frappichinos. They were b1g1 at my publix for $5.99, so I got 4. we usually pay over $14 for 12 at costco.. It would have been even more awesome if I had a coupon for them!

    • Hi – I’m really new to this & I need some help understanding what “Remember that you can use a competitor coupon for house brand items on Publix house brands.” means in relation to printing the Food Lion coupons. I saw nothing in the FL coupons that mentioned house brands.

BTW…our Publix in FL put those reward booklets out only a few days ago (by the milk) and today they were pretty depleted. After seeing the really good deals between the Publix weekly circular and those booklets, perhaps some of the Publix stores withheld the booklets until next week.

    • Melissa

I love this site, but right now, I am going to have to vent a little. I don’t understand why people have to HOARD the coupon books that come out. I understand taking two copies, but seriously…..do you need 10? We have all been searching for the elusive Family is its own reward books, and FINALLY my store put them out. However, all the books were gone within a day.
Be considerate when taking coupons and coupon books. They were really intended for one per customer. Don’t abuse them by taking 10 or more.

    • Heather

yikes! I just checked my receipt, I guess the frappichinos had a limit because I was charged for 3, only one was free. I forgot to get the contessa cooked shrimp, so I was planning on going back, I’ll just return them and then re-buy them at the b1g1… Oh well, I’m still new to all of this stacking and stuff!

    • Heather
On the flyer it says buy two get one free.
Also, there is a coupon for $1.00 off that was in last Sunday’s paper next to the Starbucks ice cream coupons.

    • Melissa
I take the books that I know I will use.
I took 6 of them because I used all 6 coupons for the Bertolli.
I also bought 3 deals for the Lipton bogo and Ragu bogo.
I understand it is frustrating to those who go crazy looking for them, however, I am not going to deprive my family of the items we use in the house to please those who can’t get a book.
I too had to wait my share of weeks upon weeks for ours to come to our store.
I am not a hoard and do not get the coupons just to have them.
Mine get put to good use.
I am sorry that you cannot get your books, however, do not take it out on those trying to save money like you.

    • Heather

OK, thanks, that makes sense… I had my little ones with me and lets just say they needed more attention than usual…

I don’t get the paper. I only do printables. My husband cant stand the clutter of a paper.

    • Esmelda

An extra savings on the Post cereals: There is a $1 e-coupon at Upromise that expires 06/30. You have to activate it in your upromise account.

    • Alison V.

      Chattanooga savers–
      E. Brainerd publix says they won’t take $ off $$$ either, but other competitor q’s ok, even for house brand products. they told me last time they don’t dbl compet q’s like it’s always been that way. (i thought they did dbl) Was at Hixson publix few weeks back and they royally tried to screw over (pardon french) my cousin and i. she wrote the manager thru the corp site and he called her back and said they had all grossly misinterpreted some info regarding all the cheating with q’s going on recently. he said he’d straighten them out,and now it’s like a whole new store. advice: 1. ck with cust serv when you go in on any q’s that may be questionable. 2. if the cashier says something diff than you’re used to, ask manager when you leave.

also, morn. farms q’s didn’t say “only one print per day” like the fl q’s do, one of my stores csr’s said they had no problem with that one.

    • lynn

i also would take more than one cause on any given sale you need at least 2 coupons to get the best savings….. and i have a large family…. i take what will be used………..DOES ANY ONE KNOW what is the difrence from a manf. coupon and a retail couppon?

    • Lynn
I think a retail coupon is a manu coupon that is persuading you to use at a specific place.
Dont quote me on that though because that is just my personal thoughts about it…

    • Penny

Aymie #62, Lisa #65 and Jenny in FL please contact me. I live in Rockledge.

    • Alison V.

per karen at publix in e.brainerd…a manuf Q has info on it for the retailer on how to be reimbursed. if is says “publix” on it, it is a manuf q made for that store. (many stores will use other store’s manuf q’s b/c they get reimbursed anyway). a store q doesn’t have that paragraph of info on it, or for example, says “target coupon” where other’s say “manuf q”. publix store q’s have a “lu” or “look up” # on them.

    • Alison V.

      Lynn,
just noticed an article on the main page called “Random Bar Code Thoughts” that explains it all! talk about timing!

    • LB

      JMR,
The Trussville Publix HAD the Family is its own Reward booklets about a week or so ago, but they were gone in a flash. I was in that store today and I don’t even think I saw the display they had been on. I called the Hoover store and Pinson store and they didn’t even know what I was talking about. Hope this helps a little.

    • Melissa

I am not “taking it out on anyone” because they are taking more books than they should. My opinion is (and there is nothing wrong with a personal opinion) is that you would not be “depriving your family” if you just got 2 deals on the spaghetti sauce. But again, that is just my opinion…….to each his/her own.

    • New at This

I had a great treat when I went to Publix today. Pepsi 8 packs of cans were buy 3 get 2 free. Each pack was 2.99 so they came to about $.22 a can. I can take one each day to work for lunch and spend less in a week than one bottle from the machine!

    • Kimberly

      Aymie,
The explanation I got from Publix regarding checking coupons was that they are no longer doubling coupons that say “do not double.” They are manually overriding these to stop the doubling. The manager also told me in the future we’ll only be able to get the coupon books from the customer service desk as it is one per person per day. And to be honest, I do think that this may be a fair option. It would allow more people to experience the savings.

    • Melissa
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
While I am sure you only get one deal, I tend to get 3 or 4.
I am not going to miss out and only get one, that’s ridiculous.
The way the food goes in my house, no way.

    • lynn

again with ethic moral police how do you stock pileand save if you only buy 2… who are we to tell anyone how many coupons deals or sales they should bet if one has a large family then they will need more then a smaller family…. there have been coupons i have not gotten because they were gone orthere have been rain checks ………i buy 2 papaers every week and i have 2 papers given to me every week……………i don not owe anyone a explanation of how much i buuy or how many deals sales i get..NOR does any one eles yes you are entitled to your opinion ……some time opions are best kept to ones self when they impose on others …..jenny often uses the word of stock piling and buying at the lowest price posible…… my house personal goes through 6 to 8 jars of sauce a month…….. so i am going to by more when i have coupons to go with the sale i like a good sale and hate when i miss out on coupons that othes have gotten….. i also hate when i read the blooms is having triple coupons or and i dont have a blooms in my state but that doesnt mean i should give some a hard time and tell them they should only get 2 of a item because i couldnt get any………..if you goal on here is to judge others for their shopping deals then you your self might bemising out on something…..this sit is so much fun when people are helping and encouraging each other but lately it seems like people are going out of their way to cut others down or judge them… and it seems to be out jealousy for the deals they are getting when i miss out on a coupon i am not mad because another has been able to benifit from it…. if i fnd a coupon i will gladly share the info with others…… if you want to set limits on how many of one thing you buy please do that for yourself you can not know the needs of others…………. personaly i think it is sad that one stranger would try to make another person feel like they owe them a explanation for how they shop or coupon………………please trust that most take coupons they ned and will be using……….. i would not dare tell a person how much they shouldmake at their job or tell a person how much cash they can spend on clothes…….when we judge others so harshly i beleive we we are realy showing a sad lonely side to our self…. this is just my opion and as i have read today i guess i am entitled to it…. hmmmmmmmm… but at what cost should one learn to filter their own opion…. i would say when it is used to judge other when they clearly should be judgeing themself ……………..

    • JMR

      LB,
Thanks for that. I have tried the McAdory, Trace Crossings and the new one on 31 with no luck yet.

    • Melissa

      Opinions noted. Thank you.

    • kathyctts

The other day my publix refused to take target coupons. I had 2 of them for 4 boxes of morningstar burgers. They said they recently stopped when someone kept coming in with a stack of them. Why wouldn’t they just put a limit on it instead of banning them altogether?

    • Patricia

Just FYI-I just got a coupon in the mail from Publix for $3 off $10 as part of the Family is its own reward program. Still no booklets here though.

    • Angela T.

I just wanted to weigh in on the booklets and the hoarders. The person who got me into coupons is one of those hoarders. At first I thought it was great that she had so many books and coupons but as I got deeper into couponing I realized that she was a stingy person. She would get all of these things for free but didn’t really share her things with people. She told me about these books at publix and told me that she had gotten over 30 of them. I think that is ridiculous. I went and got myself 4 each. I thought that was reasonable so that when there is a BOGO I could use two coupons in conjuction with the sale but over 30 is sad. Other people won’t be able to get them and they lose out. Share with others not just for yourself. I had to go to 5 publix just to find them and she has over 30 of them.

    • Amanda B.

I live in Valrico,Fl. Has anyone found the Family is It’s Own reward booklet in the area?

    • Melissa

I live in Florida and can’t find any books at any Publix. (Ichecked three)

    • i love this website and i just wanted to share a bit about my favorite cashier at the publix i shop at. i shop at the publix on east brainerd in chattanooga. there is a young lady by the name of kristina who is always so helpful and friendly. there was a time when i bought a item and she informed me there were store coupons for my item and it was on sale. she saved me a extra 4 dollars. she is the only cashier i will deal with and she knows her stuff. she never gets angry no matter how many coupons or questions i have. i think its very important that we tell the managers about people like kristina so they can be acknowledged for all their hard work because its people like her that keep me shopping there.

      happy shopping

    • Lynn
Thank you taking the words out of my mouth again. I didnt feel it necessary to explain myself to people who dont know me, however, I am glad you did but I 100% agree with you.

    • Patricia
What is the site you got the $3.00 off from?
Was it directly from Publix or was it Unilever?

    • Angela
I do agree that taking over 30 is wrong, however, are you 100% sure that she isnt using her free or close to free buys with a local shelter or a family in need?

We all have to remember that we will never know someones story 100% even if we think we do…
Keep that in mind the next time you get angry with a certain person because they got a coupon and you didnt.

    • Queenie
I absolutely think you are right!
Whenever I come across a cashier who has went above others, I most definately tell management.
They hear mostly complaints, so when we tell them the positive things, it makes them like their job just a little better.
I just wish we had more cashiers like Kristina!

    • Patricia

      Aymie,
I got the coupon in a mailer from Publix.

    • Jessica

While I do agree that many people actually use the multiple copes of booklets that they take…in defense of Melisaa, there are NUMEROUS people making a pretty penny off the “Family Is Its Own Reward” coupons on E-Bay right now.

    • Jessica
Those people make the people like me, who like to stock up on items, look bad.
Those people should be ashamed of themselves.

    • Jenny in FL, Lisa, and Penny
I have just started a yahoo group called couponersofbrevard.
      Please join :)

    • lynn

npr florida got tose books a couple of weeks ago they were gone fast though

    • lynn

jessica i undestan what you are saying i do have issue with some one saying that another person on here only need one coupon or two of a sale item ……. i never have seen the person who take 30 books on here post and say i took 30 books or i never see on here when some one says i took all the books…… that is the person people realy have issue with and it seems alot of displaced anger gets blown off on inocent people hereand thats just not right……..again NO one owes another a explanation for how they shop i live in florida and we are in huricane season so yes there will be things i will be buying a lot of and if i can use coupons to do that i will with feeling like i have to clear it or explain it to any one ,,…………..cant we just all be happy couponsers and work together instead of tearing each other a part?

    • jen

YOU ALL NEED TO STOP VENTING ON THIS WEB SITE I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ALL ARE GOING THOUGH BUT COME ON IT TAKES ME LONGER TO READ TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS FOUND ANY OTHER GOOD DEALS,BECAUSE I HAVE TO SKIM THE ARGUING ONES!! THE WEB SITE AND IT IS NOT A PLACE TO HOLD THIS ANGER. JUST REMEMBER YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOE IN LIFE AND IF ANYONE IS WRONG IT WILL COME BACK TO BITE YOU!!NOW LET US GET BACK TO TRING TO SAVE MONEY!!THANK YOU!!

    • Shannon in ATL

      Melissa….

I didn’t take it as you attacking anyone, taking anger out on anyone or demanding an explanation…just voicing your opinion and frustration with not being able to participate in a promotion because someone makes a choice not to share.

It’s very much an every man for himself type attitude and we see the outcome with stores now placing books behind counters.

Sometimes people just get very defensive to justify their behavior..whether it is right or wrong…not for me to decide.

      Lynn & Aymie…
I think you guys really lose your credibility when you talk (at length) about not judging someone because of a comment they make about coupons then turn around and call them or others “lonely and sad” and “shame” on them. I think that’s when it became personal, but maybe I missed something.

    • Elizabeth

I just wanted to let everyone in the Marietta, GA area know that I found Smart Summertime Savings in the turnstile, there was a display as you go in with Nothing Goes to Waist, and at the back of the pet isle I found Savings for All Seasons. This was the Publix on Sandy Plains by Canton Rd/I75. I got them last night, and there were lots of all of them.

    • Elizabeth

Also, I was excited about the Smart Summertime Savings book b/c it has a coupon for $1 off Apple and Eve juice, the 4 packs reportedly on sale for $1.39. It is a Pulix coupon, and apparently there is a manu coupon out there in the Greenwise? I didn’t see any Greenwise magazines, but I noticed the wording on the coupon says ‘not to exceed purchase price’. Have they always had that wording? Or is this new? I was just curious because at my store the manager normally allows overage w/ no problem. They are very coupon friendly. The cashier was not very friendly though. She was looking very suspectly at my internet coupons, and asked me where I got them. I said I got them on the internet, and she said, “No! I asked you ‘where’ you got them!” I was shocked because I felt like she was yelling at me, I couldn’t even remember what sites I went to to get them. I will not go back through her line!!!

    • lynn

i think you are missing something i think when one person says they bought three of a sale item to provide for their family… and then some one come and says that the should have only bought one… or that they should only take one coupon i find and then do on to further explain that you are not depriving your family by only get one or two of a sale a by using one coupon what kind of deal would they get if the sauce was on sale bogo and they only used one coupon ? not much if i limited my family to 2 jars of sauce while it was on sale yes i would be taking away from my family………i do not recomend taking 30 coupon books but do take what your family will use what you save at the store is money that can be spent on other things i personal have a large family granted some of my kids are grown and out on their own,,,,, buti had a bad accident a few years back and the only income my house has is my disability income and i am here to tell you with out jenny and this site and the coupons there would be more month than money …. so yes i will use the coupons to best benifit my family and if that means buying 6 jars of sauce at bogo with my coupons i will do that and if that offends you or any ome eles i will not apoligizes for it nor should any one eles have tp … on that note this isnt the place t vent and because i cant handle the nasty hateful remarks and all the judgement that seems to come from people on here i will chose to find a place to do ny couponing quietly as to not offend or distract others jen i am sorry i know you are also trying to do the best for your family and would like to get on with couponing JENNY you are wonderful and god bless for all the good you do

    • I really wish people would mind their own business sometimes.
If it does not concern you, do not voice your opinion.
Everyone has their own opinions but when someone verbally attacks another for getting more deals than them, it is like they are pointing the finger directly towards you when someone (who is probably in a different state!) takes the rest of the coupon books.
That is not someone else’s fault who is just providing for their families.
Take it up with the people who cause the problems, not the ones who want to provide for their families.

    • Abbie Messer

Are the publix coupons from the Advantage flyers considered store coupons?

    • Angie

For the folks in B’ham the Publix @ Lee Branch has their Summertime Savers booklets out in a display near the first check-out line.

    • Elizabeth

Abbie-Some of them are manufacturer coupons. Publix coupons do not have barcodes. They have an L.U. # at the bottom. Most of them are Publix coupons from the fliers, but not all of them.

    • Shannon in ATL

All the more reason to stock up on goodies for our soldiers…freedom of expression…it is only because of them that we are able to have spirited discussions like these!

    • If anyone has extra Family has it’s own reward coupon booklets, I would love one. I can swap coupons or pay shipping.
      Thank you!!

    • Bill

      Vicki,

I think your question got lost in all of the childish bantering. I believe the answer to your question is yes. You can use a BOGO coupon and a $.50 off coupon together if you are buying two items, as long as you are using one manu coupon per item.

      Jenny,

Thanks for your work. I’ve been to Publix the past two Friday’s and had the following results:
      19th Total b4 coupons $120ish after $55
      12th Total b4 coupons $120ish after $42

    • Jenny in Chapin

Has anyone seen the Family in its own reward in the Columbia, Sc area? I have checked several Publix stores. Thanks!

      • Jenny

        Jenny in Chapin,

I’ve still not found it in my stores, but I have been out of pocket for the last 5 days. I’m hoping soon though!

    • If anyone needs a Family is its own reward book, please let me know…

If they approve, then please feel free to let me know and I will see if I can pick some up for you guys in need…

    • Amy

Does the Lexington, SC store or any of the 3 Irmo/Columbia stores have the “Family is it’s own Reward” booklet??

    • Patricia

The mailer I got was just a foldover type brochure that advertises the Family is its own reward program. On the inside of it, there is a coupon for $3 off $10 of unilever products….it is a publix coupon.

I have a question about stacking coupons – I have a $5 off Pampers Publix coupon, can this be combined with a $2.50 Target and $1.50 manufacturer coupon?

      • Jenny

        Jennifer,

If your store accepts Target coupons then yes you can use all three. Just ask the store manager or customer service about the Target coupon first.

    • Monika

whats “Family is its own Reward” booklet? and where can i get it?

      Aymie…

I would love one, too. I have not been able to get them at my store.

To my couponing sisters and any brothers that might be here,
Please remember our family. Our son is being deployed to Iraq on July 5, 2009 to help protect our freedoms. I will probably have an address for him near the end of July, if any of you would be willing to share some of your free or nearly free finds. I’m sure that he and his unit would appreciate any care packages that you would find in your heart to send.

Thanks Army mom in South Carolina

    • lynnemarie

If you are lucky enough to have 2 Family is its own reward coupon books, can you use two coupons for b1g1 (2 breyers with 2 Qs)? Because qs say limit one coupon per purchase on products specified. When I tried to use two skippy at walgreens last week they had to push them through. Has anyone else had this issue? I know Publix can be picky so I just want to know if possibly ahead of time. Has anyone used 2 family is its own reward coupons on a b1g1 at Publix? Thanks so much for your help.

    • Amy B.

Wow – between the lowercase dot dot dot ramblings and the ALL CAPS exclamation point reprimands this has gotten pretty obnoxious.

I’ll share a good deal I found to try to perk things up a bit. There is a $2 MQ off Green Works products in the new Greenwise Mag and a $1 off FL printable. Use them together and this will make many of the Greenworks products free.

No CAPS or …’s needed for this deal :)

    • Jefff

      Jenny (or someone),

Are the Summertime Savings Book coupons going to be worked into the deals that are posted, or are they already and I’m missing it?

      Jeff

      • Jenny

        Jeff,

As I see them in matches I will add them. Were there deals from this week that need to be added that I missed? I try to include all the books.

Amy B. (#140) *Make Your Own BOGO*

I agree with Amy, let’s talk deals. This will only work if your Publix accepts Target coupons. I got a FREE package of Sargento Deli Sliced Cheese tonight at Publix. Here are the coupons that I used:

      .40/1 Manufacturer coupon (SS 4/19) & Target $1/2 coupon (SS 6/21)
The cheese is on sale this week 2 for $5.00 and with these 3 coupons you save $2.60. You get 2 packs of delicious cheese for $2.40!

    • Katie T

Does anyone know if you can use the $5 off $25 Rite aid purchase coupon at Publix? It doesn’t say anything about rx’s just “Spend $25.00 and get $5.00 off.

      • Jenny

        Katie,

This will depend on your store. Most stores now only accept “Grocery Store competitors”. I know in my area that stopped taking Rite Aid about 4 or 5 months ago. But it never hurts to ask customer service as you walk in the door!

    • Angel R.

Has anyone found the Family Is Its Own Reward booklets in the Charleston area?

    • Jill

      I have a question….
I know there is 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 publix coupon you can use per item. If I have a save 2.00 wyb 6-pk .5L of any coke product and 2 Nabisco (ritz) crackers coupon. Can I use a MQ for one box of ritz , plus 1 MQ for the the other box of ritz then use a MQ for the coke product and still use the 2.00 MQ because I have bought all 3 items? Can I still use publix coupons? I just want to do it right. I am finding a lot of confusing coupons.
Thank you for your time in advance!

    • Katie T

Jill, does the coupon say save $2.00 off the coke or crackers or just save $2.00 in general? I think if it says save in general, you should be able to use all coupons, but if it says save $2.00 on coke when you buy the crackers, you could only use that coupon and the crackers coupon, but not the coke coupon. the publix coupons would fall in the same category. Hope that helps!

      Katie

    • Katie T

Aymie, if you’re able, I’d appreciate one of the coupon booklets as well. They’re a HOT comodity!!

      Thanks,
      Katie

Went to buy the Pepperidge Farm bread for $1.99 and had the .75 Target coupon… on the bread there was a manu peely for an additional $1.00 off. So excited that I got that bread for .24!!

    • Lynnmarie
Yes you can use one for each item.
I think it means no doubling of the coupons, but you are physically buying 2 ice creams so therefore you can use 2 coupons.
I have never had a problem (yet) good luck.

    • Linda

      Angel R (#144),
I have not found them anywhere in Summeville and I’ve been looking for about 5-6 weeks, but I may have missed a week or 2, that’s probably when they were in the store, with my luck! Let me know if you find any and I’ll do the same.
      Going to Publix later today…..

    • Dale

I found the “Family is Its own Reward” books in Lawrenceville Georgia last week. There one day, and gone the next. They also had the Summertime Savings books and plenty of them. Have not seen them in Columbia. They had the Family books in the produce area…on a special display.

    • michelle

      Donna-
The East Brainerd Publix is no longer accepting the $3 off of $10 or any time of coupon that has that type of wording.

    • michelle

Oops, sorry the above comment got posted before I got to read it! :) Anyway, that Publix is no longer accepting the FL “so much off of so much” coupon (I talked to a store manager).

    • lynn

    • Rachel

The Publix in Ft. Myers, FL had “Curves” coupon books on display today. They had some decent deals, including a $1 off coupon for McCormick (which I used on the b1g1 pepper deal).

    • Stacey

***OOLTEWAH, TN SHOPPERS—Publix in Ooltewah has Driscoll strawberries 2/$4 and there is a $1/1 coupon from Target online. Also there is a $1/1 coupon for Sara Lee desserts in one of the Publix magazine/fliers. I don’t remember the name of the flier and my coupon notebook is in the car. But it is not the Family Is Its Own Rewards as this Publix “hasn’t seen them in months and has no idea when any will come in”. Which ever flier this is, they had plenty of them up front when when I was there a few hours ago.

    • AngelathecouponNERD

      Jenny and Jenny –
I have not seen the Family coupon books in the Gervais or Forest Dr Publix locations in Columbia when I shopped last week. I asked at the CS desk and they didn’t know about them.
I think I’ll call them (and the Harbison location)again shortly and ask.

    • Jennifer

I was told by the manager at the Publix on the Parkway in Greenville SC that using a coupon for more than the product was coupon Fraud. He refused to take a $2 of Revlon coupon from me because the product was $1.49. Also at that store they will NOT let me use a competier coupon with a Publix coupon. :( Has anyone else had this same problem at a Publix?

    • Kelly

      Stacey

Thanks, I am an Ooltewah shopper. There is a new forum for just us Chatt town girls if you want to check it out at http://chattanoogacheapskate.wordpress.com/local-ladies-coupon-forum/

    • Chantelle

I know the inserts often vary by region, but I thought the PG ones didn’t. I don’t have a pringles coupon in my 6/7 pg insert? Anyone else with this problem?

    • lynn

jennifer i had that problem at walgreens it depends who is the manager the day i go shopping if iam going to have it at publix

    • momof2

      Jennifer

I usually go to the Greenville, SC store. You can only use 1 store coupon (whether it be FL, Publix, or what have you) but in addition to that store coupon you can also use 1 manuf. coupon per item. You can’t use 1 publix q & 1 FL q for the same item b/c that is using 2 store q’s. I hope this helps.

    • Melissa

Jennifer – I shop at the Publix on the Parkway as well, and I have been able to use FL coupons there in the past (but I have only tried ones for specific items, not $ off $$). I have also used some of my Bi-Lo register print coupons with no problems. The cashier just puts them in, no questions asked. Have you seen any of the coupon booklets at this Publix yet?

    • Lara

Maybe I’m dense, but I don’t see how this makes sense. Can someone explain it to me? How does that Q make it equal $.64 on a BOGO?

Emerald Deluxe Mixed Nuts or Almonds or Cashews, at $5.79
-$1.50/2 Emerald Glazed Nuts SS 5/17 (makes it .64 ea)

    • tracey

Also, be sure and watch your prices when they ring up….if the Publix price shown for the item on the shelf doesn’t ring up at check out for that i.e.(2.99 on shelf price rings up 3.59)you can use the PUB LIX PROMISE and get it for free! They will verify it before it is voided off & only works on 1 item, not multiples & doesnt work for alchol or clearance.

    • Dianne

Two deals I haven’t seen posted yet:

My Smart Source from today had .50 off any one Mt. Olive product. With B1G1 makes it .39.

The July Reinventing Beauty magazine available at CVS has $1.50 off one Kotex product. With the Publix B1G1, you can get one for .10. Since the magazine is only .99, you will recoup the price without using another Q. Plus you can use ECB to buy it.

I’m off to Publix with hopes of finding the illusive Family Is It’s Own Reward booklet and getting some great bargains.

      Happy bargain hunting everyone!

    • Jennifer

Jenny, I was able to stack the Publix ($5), Target ($2.50), and manufacturer ($1.50) coupons for the Pampers – I got 80 size 3 Cruisers for $10.99!

    • Heather

I guess I’m lucky. I’m now on the store manager’s radar between asking about the food lion coupons and returning the extra starbucks within hours. Luckily, he thinks it’s cool I can save so much. I asked him about the family is it’s own rewards booklet and he said he hadn’t heard of it. He took me over to the coupon area and handed me like 10 of the Kelloggs coupons. I gave him back some. I don’t want to take more than I will use, and I honestly don’t have time to buy stuff just to donate it to food banks and stuff. I’m only buying for me and my family and I only have 2 kids. He also gave me like, 3 of these coupons for a mail in publix $10 gift card if you spend $50 including $10 of a certain product line. He gave me a ton of those, but I only took three. Unfortunately when I got home, I read the fine print and I don’t buy any of the featured products. The promotion ends on June 30 anyway…

It was just nice to have someone so supportive.

I’m sure you guys already know about the clubs, but the baby club and the preschool club both have coupons for other stuff besides baby and kid stuff.

Anyway. Thanks again for this site. In the 3 weeks I’ve been coming to this site I’ve saved about $140. That’s significant.

    • Miranda

      Aymie –

Can you tell me where exactly the Family Is Its Own Reward books are at the Publix in Cocoa?

I haven’t been able to find it in Tallahassee, so my mom has been looking in Cocoa for me. She found the Summer coupon book but forgot to check for the other.

    • Jill

      Katie T,
Thank you for you help! The exact wording is Save $2.00 when you buy a 6-pk .5L, 8-pk 12 oz. or 6-pk 24 oz. of any coca-cola product and any two Nabisco snack crackers 4 oz. or larger. I will try using a coupon for all and that and see how it goes. It seems like a great deal if it works. Thank you again for the advise.

    • AngelathecouponNERD

Dianne – what city are you in?
Will you let us know if you find the elusive Family Reward booklet?
I went to NE Columbia Publix this morning and found the Nothing goes to Waist and Smart Summertime Savings booklets. Almost ran into the display going in the door, actually!
      Still no Family booklets. Sigh.

    • michelle

i live in lyman, sc. has anyone found the family is its own reward booklet. I am new to publix and all i have been able to find is the advantage buys flyer. i did get the greenwise booklet today. thanks for your help.

    • Deena

Has anyone in Nashville found the “Family Is Its Own Reward” booklets?

JMO, the crystal light canisters are great to stock up and give out to the elderly during the summer. My Mom never drinks enough water because she registers heat differently. I know she will stay hydrated if I can keep her in sugar free beverages. W/O Publix deals and coupons I couldn’t afford to do this.

    • Miranda
I actually went into the PSJ Publix and couldnt find it so I had them call the one on Clearlake to hold some copies for me.
I was in and out real quick so I didnt get a chance to see where the display was but I know they had some.

    • Dianne

      Angela,
I’m in Montgomery. I had no luck with the FIIOR flyer today. In fact, they didn’t even know it existed. The only new flyer was the Curves one, which was kind of disappointing. The good news is I got $170 worth of groceries for $40, so I really can’t complain. BTW, my Publix is still honoring Rite Aid $5 off $25 Qs, which helps quite a bit, and they are still giving great service too! My favorite buy was 8th Continent Soy Milk. Half gallon was $2.50. Got 2 for $1 after using 2 $2 IP Qs.

    • Sonya

      Jenny,
I was at the Publix on Harbison Saturday 27th. Getting the Margaret Holmes veggies… the coupon is for .35 and they would not double it. It says do not double on the coupon … has anyone else had this problem? I purchased these at Kennerly over a week ago they doubled.

    • Robin

I am in the Roswell/Woodstock Ga area and still have not found the Family is its own reward book. Has anyone seen any in Roswell, Ga or woodstock, GA? On a happy note, I finally managed tonight to save double what my total purchase was. I was VERY HAPPY! Thank u for all you do gathering info on this site! I love my Publix. It seems I recently have been the guinea pig who has taught the Mountain Park (roswell) ga, cashiers about what coupons they do and dont take. The other night I was told they will no longer take Super target coupons but will take target coupons. To me this makes no sense as Super target is the one who actually sells groceries and almost all the targets by me are now supertargets. I did not understand it but did not care much as most coupons I get say target not supertarget on it. And they told me they will take the rite aid, walgreen etc coupons, which again makes sense to me, but made me very happy and allowed me to save a lot this last week with the $5 off a $25 purchase!

    • vana

I’m in Nashville and have never once seen the elusive Family rewards book. But when I do I am dumping the entire shelf into my cart and not leaving any behind…only kidding, lol.

However, I was thrilled to discover mangos were only $.50!! My kids love them.

And the managers/clerks at Publix on HWY 100 are wonderful. I have even had a manager offer to walk me to my car to give me couponing tips:)

    • Not sure if someone has mentioned this already – so many comments to get thru… The pepperidge farm farmhouse bread that is on sale for $1.99 has a coupon on it for $1 off, which makes it 99 cents!

    • Cheryl

Does anyone know of a store in the Spartanburg SC area that has any Family Is Its Own Reward Booklets. The Publix at Hillcrest is out of them. Thanks!

    • Hi Guys! I just found the Nothing Goes to Waist , Savings for All Seasons and Smart Summertime Savings Books at the downtown Rosewood store in Columbia, SC. Two are in the turnstyle and one just inside the door next to the refrig. cakes :). Yay! Good luck!!

    • Tammy

Publix on the Parkway (Thornblade) shoppers…

I got the Family Is Its Own Reward Booklet last week at the service desk. I happened to notice a stack of them while returning the recalled cookie dough 8-). I’ve also never had a problem using a competitor store q with a manufacturer q or with using a q that is more than the cost of the item. I do have a question, though…and if I could find a receipt to check I wouldn’t be asking but I’ve cleaned out my June receipts to make way for tracking July 8-)…do competitor q’s double? Thanks!

    • Tammy

I printed the Land o Lakes coupon for 55 cents and then got the coupon at the box near the Land o Lakes for 55 cents and they let me use both of them. Got mangos for 2 for $1, Corn 10 for $4 plus used 3 foodlion produce coupons. Got a couple of green works products for next to nothing stacking Food lion coupons with publix and Manufacturers coupons. Just checked out this site last night and I think I have Coupon Fever.

    • Jen,

I was as perplexed as you reading all this venting and fault finding. I haven’t shopped Publix yet this week and was hoping to glean some good tips here, as usual.

I am sorry you had deal with it all !

You’re just awesome and I hope people will do as you ask…

      Thank you LOL
      Lynn

    • Erin

      Jenny in Chapin-
I was in the publix at lake murray landing and they have the family is its own reward booklet behind the customer service desk. You just have to ask.
      Hope this helps!
      Erin in chapin

    • I went to Publix this morning and the b1g1 Ritz Crackers all had $1 off 1 box at my publix in the Upstate. So I got two boxes for $1.49 or just under $0.75 each.

    • Tonya

      Hello Ladies!
I went to Publix last night and got $110 worth of groceries for $45 – yeah! (Thanks to ya’lls help!!).

      Two questions though:

      – Aymie (I think you are the person who has extra books, Family is it’s own Reward). Do you have anymore? If you do, my email address is: tonya@dhollosydayspa.com. Thanks!

-I tried to use the Rite Aid coupon and they would not take it. The one that say $5 off $25. I thought I read that you could use it. Can someone help me out or should I call the store manager?

Thanks for your help!! Tonya (in Atlanta, GA)

      • Jenny

        Tonya,

Many stores do not take competitor coupons that are not for Grocery store competitors. It is up the store manager to decide who is a competitor. I know in my area they do not take anything from Rite Aid or Target.

    • vana

There is something I’m unsure about. I understand Publix accepts competitor coupons, but does that include competitor sales that are not in coupon form? Ex. if Kroger has a product on sale can you clip it from the sale flyer to get that price or does this only work with an actual coupon?

      Thanks for the help!

      • Jenny

        Vana,

It is just the coupons they accept, they will not match the sale prices. Sorry.

    • Tanya

Robin in Woodstock: I found the Family Rewards in Freehome (outside of Canton) about a month ago. I have not seen it since.

    • Jenny
I was wondering if Publix usually adjusts coupons to avoid overage?
I bought 3 nail clippes from Revlon which were $1.49, used my $2.00 off coupon was hoping to get overage, instead my cashier (who usually works CS counter) adjusted the coupon to make it free but no overage.
      Is this common??

    • lynn

they adjusted the price if you used a store coupon not a manf; they dont get reimbersed for their own coupons

    • Thanks Lynn that definately explains it…

    • Can you tell me where to find the best deal on laundry detergent?

    • lynn

npr florida the smart summer savings book is here and it is a good one hope the danimals go on sale soon and there are a few nice stackables too…

    • Ashley

The Publix in Pensacola, FL at 9 mile and University now accepts “non-traditional” competitor coupons… This includes, drug stores (yes CVS and Walgreens), Walmart, and Target (even internet printables – I specifically asked!) This is very exciting! :)

    • Melissa in GA

To piggy back on the person about the Pepperidge Farm bread with the peelies…..

If your store takes Target coupons there is a .75 coupon which will make your bread a quarter.

This is an awesome deal for Pepperidge Farm bread.
