Purina and Milo’s Kitchen have issued recalls on some of their products due to the presence of a non-approved chicken antibiotic.

The affected products are:

Purina Waggin’ Train dog treats
Purina Canyon Creek Ranch dog treats
Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky and Chicken Grillers

Both companies are offering full refunds for customers who return or discard these products.  Receive your refund by calling 800-982-0704 for Purina or 877-228-6493 for Milo’s Kitchen.  Have your receipt and the box on hand to give them your info.

The antibiotic found is said to be nontoxic, but not approved by the FDA.  It’s worth it to get a refund than to have a sick dog in the house!

Thank you so much for the heads up Jenny! These are my dogs favorite treats, calling for a refund now!

One too many recalls with this company. I won’t be buying Milo’s kitchen anymore.

Thanks so much. I just used my B1G1 coupon last week for the Waggin Tails. Called this morning for my refund. Quite a wait, as to be expected, but they issued the refund eventhough I no longer had a receipt. I did tell them I used a B1G1 coupon. My Titan will be sad. He loved the duck rolls.

Thanks for posting! I wasn’t going to call–no receipt, but then I saw your post. Thanks again!

Can you call for a refund without the info? I just bought two bags of these, used a coupon at PetSmart last week…and came home, threw out the receipt, of course…(who saves those?)…

      • melissa

Yes, they are sending me mine, without the receipt. Thanks!

    • cheapergles

They didn’t ask for my receipt information (I didn’t have it). Said I can expect a replacement product within two weeks.

    • Jamie

question for those who have already called… are you receiving a refund or a replacement product? Thanks!

      • sundrop474

The man I spoke with indicated I would receive a refund in the amount of $15.99. I had two packages but no receipt. I told him I had used a B1G1 coupon and know that I didn’t pay anywhere near that amount for the one package. He stated that this was the standard amount they were issuing for my situation, ie no receipt. Not sure if that was to cover one or two packages of treats. HTH
