Thanks for the math I was just trying to figure that out! Now I know I am doing better with the smaller packages!

    • Amanda

This is helpful. I usually buy the big boxes at Sam's but will keep my eyes open for deals here!

    • Elizabeth

Plus I have found that sometimes babies can hit growth spurts and outgrow a big box, leaving you with tiny, expensive souveniers of their former size.

      • Lucy

I just bought a big box of Pampers for my daughter last week, and the size I bought is already too small :( well she'll have to fit in them until they run out lol

How does that stack up after factoring in BabiesRUs promo where you buy 9 cases get the 10th free? Has anyone done the math on this one? It seems like if you are buying the cases when they are on sale-often they will range from $32-$40 and then you can use Qns to further lower the price you might break even. Probably not better, but less hassle. Has anyone done this all the way through?

I used to do this promo with BRU but never got a free case – the fine print says something about the time frame that it's in……… it's either you have to buy all in 9 or 12 months can't remember which – just remember it wasn't near as easy as they made it seem.

        • andrea

i was also confused about the time frame when i first started the promotion but i think it's you can only get one free box in the 9 or 12 months. not positive but i was able to get mine in that time frame. hope that helps.

      • Stephanie

I normally buy the big boxes at BRU when on sale and with a coupon. When factoring in the free 10th box (I had no problem getting mine), the price compared well to sale prices at Target, or Costco. Buying the smaller packs at drug stores may be cheaper but it is a lot of work and I don't often to it, plus they don't last long.

        • Shelley

I guess that is my concern/question, too. To buy the smaller packs, wouldn't you need a LOT of coupons to make it a deal? I feel like I'd run out of coupons and still need more diapers and then end up paying full price for some packs. Even though the larger ones cost a little more, they last longer and you don't have to worry about being without coupon.

thanks for this jenny. i also have done the bru big packs getting the gift cards back and never did the math. i also have gotten a free value pack of diapers for being in their rewards program and often wondered which was better. never got around to comparing how many diapers in box to how many in jumbo pack. if anyone has done the math with the free 10 th box i would be curious to know if it is indeed cheaper or about the same. if cheaper i’ll be going to cvs this week (: or diapers.com

I now buy Luvs brand. They are made by PandG, so similar to crusiers, but much cheaper. They send great home mailers coupons too, or in the newspaper. This week rite aid has buy one get one 50%off. I bought
      (2) mega packs ( 52 diapers each size 4) 15$ea.
      use 2) 2.50off Luvs
use $5off 15$ rite aid purchase:
total was 16$ for 104 diapers! That is .15cents a diaper.

      • Lucy

Don'f forget that Luvs also has a money-back guarantee. So if they leak, even once, you get your money back :) I love pricey Pampers, I'm ok with Luvs but they feel and sound just like a plastic bag on my baby's buttom lol

    • As far as the e-mail I received from Pampers and what is on the BabiesRus site, It is on ANY Value pack of Pampers diapers (92-252 ct.). If that is the case, there are also $2 coupons out there. Plus the newborn swaddlers value box are priced at $29.99 online- not sure that will be the store price. You can find the deal info at http://www.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categor

If the lower priced boxes are included, it will be a great deal! That is if you need newborn diapers or know someone who does.

This diaper deal can also go towards the P&G $100 coupon booklet for those that haven't reached their $50 P&G total.
