red plum insertHeads Up! Starting 6/1, the Red Plum coupon insert will no longer be included in some newspapers.

To find out if your newspaper will still carry the Red Plum insert, go here and enter your address. The area that will be most effected by this is Central Florida.

If the inserts will not be included in the newspaper, you should still get a copy by mail. This just makes it more difficult to get multiple copies.

You can ask neighbors and friends for copies, or rely more heavily on printable coupons.

        Thanks! Whew!

    • Jamie Buchanan Benningfield

How do you get a copy by mail?

      • TriciaAnn

they will send them usps if your address appears as “standardized mail”

        • Lauren Wickersheim

That’s not what my address said.

          • Marisa King

If you are going to get it in the mail, once you put in your address, it will say:
Good news! The RedPlum Coupon Book is available in your area.
Newspapers – Look in the following newspaper(s) for your RedPlum Coupon Book:
            TAMPA BAY REDPLUM SHARED MAIL

      • Never_Speechless

You can sign up on the web site to get them in the mail but I did so last summer and they have never come in the mail for me.

    • julee

How do I get RP in the mail? It said the address has been standardize.

    • Cate

This is so unfair. Why do they all pick on central florida. We already don’t get the penny deal. We can’t get double coupons. Why are they eliminating Central Florida!!! I think we should all boycott the products in RedPlum and make them come back to our area! This is ridiculous!

      • Guest

I’m in South FL and I’ve noticed every time I go to Orlando people have like 40 copies of a coupon and buy out the store- example: the “TEN” soda coupons for 2 liter soda on sale. They walk out with multiple carts. I’ve had stores tell me they believe the people are those fraudulent I make pizza in my garage and sell it at hotels (those flyers they throw under hotel doors illegally and local PD is trying to catch them). I’m gonna guess Red Plum is trying to curtail 40 copies available to one person. It is awful. It hurts people who need it. We have no double coupons anywhere in this state, penny items, etc. I say we all write RP!

      • Rae

I am in Gainesville – the plus side is we get to live in FLORIDA!!! No state income tax, water everywhere, low cost of living, NO SNOW….even without the doubles, etc., I still think we have it SO MUCH BETTER than anyone else in the US. My grocery bill might be a few dollars higher a week, but TOTALLY worth it to tan year round. ;-)

      • jackie

I can’t remember the last time the Red Plum was available up here in PA. You guys aren’t the first to only get it through the mail.

      • pjcofer127

Well, you guys don’t pay tax on food though, do you? In Georgia, we do. Maybe that’s the trade-off?

        • Justapiligrim

To my understanding Georgia has very low if any
property taxes, so they tax groceries. This insures all
residents pay into state taxes. Everyone has skin in the game. In Florida our property taxes are outrageous, and homeowners pay thru the nose, and then some.

          • gg

Plus, prices are higher on some products here – higher than what we’d pay for tax.

    • Lauren Wickersheim

When I put in my address it says it is available in the following newspaper: TAMPA BAY REDPLUM SHARED MAIL but I googled that and it’s a junk mail bundle that comes in the mail. I’ve gotten it before – it’s not the normal insert, it’s junk. This makes me sad.

      • Tricia Ann

These flyers will actually be the same that generally appear in your paper, only you will receive them on Tuesdays via usps

        • Lauren Wickersheim

Oh really? So it’s different than the Redplum junk mail flyers I get?

    • someday273

    • Alexandra

Not available in the Tampa Bay Times. Or anything else near me. This is so stupid.

    • Marlee Straup

I live in an apartment complex, so multiple copies will be easier for me because most people throw that kind of mail in the recycle bin next to the mail boxes.Does anyone know about the Austin American Statesman?

    • Linda Walrod

Still in Charlotte Observer and Rock Hill Herald (NC/SC)- whew!

    • NKWalker

    • Joy

Well according to that link it will still be coming to me in the Tennessean newspaper. It also listed the local M’Boro paper The Daily News Journal.

    • Still available in the Louisville, Kentucky Courier Journal thank goodness. Anyone know why they are doing this?

    • Sam

I wish they would mail them in Louisville. I don’t buy the Courier Journal because it’s too expensive for the few coupons I might use, especially Red Plum. I usually can’t get my money back from the cost of the paper, forget saving more.

    • pjcofer127

Has anyone heard whether or not the Georgia Times Union will have it? (Can’t pull up the link for some reason…) Thanks!

    • Terry

Still available in The State newspaper in Lexington, SC.

    • colette
