how to remove scratches from wood using only a walnut

I had a surface scratch on a dresser and some walnuts on hand so I decided to try it.  To my surprise… it worked to remove scratches from wood!

-Break off a small piece of a walnut.
-Rub it into the surface scratch.
-Wipe away any excess oil.

If you try this on a deep gash of wood, I don’t think it will work.  But if it’s a light scratch that has only taken off a bit of the surface color, the oil from the walnut helps blend the scratch into the rest of the wood.
