Restaurant.com Promo

Restaurant.com has $25 gift certificates for as low as $2 with the promo code DINNER. This code is valid through 1/16.

Always make sure you check the certificates for the fine print and when they expire.  These certificates are a great way to eat out on a budget. Make it a date, try a new restaurant, or just take the night off from cooking!

To make this deal even sweeter, go through ShopatHome.com and get 35% cash back (that makes it $1.30).

I did this…I clicked on a restaurant in my area and bought a $25 gift certificate for $3.  I was super excited until I read the fine print and I have to spend $45 first and it excludes alcohol:(  so now I am not so happy.

I saw the bummer about spending $45 too…
Maybe get a little group together & pay all on one bill & yours will be free?  Would that work out?

There are some restaurants that have lower minimum purchases or don’t exclude alcohol, but those certificates sometimes sell out quickly.  When deals like this show up, I usually use the promo code to by a gift certificate that I can redeem later.  Then when one of my favorite restaurants is reloaded I snag it.  With these I do the math and figure I’m getting half off a night out with my husband.  Worth it!

Has anyone had any isues with Shopathome recently? I’ve just realized that My OfficeMax purchase in November didn’t get counted, nor did my Enterprise purchase in December, and so far it’s not showing my Maidenform purchase from a couple of days ago, either. The trackback records are there, they just don’t record the purchase. Anyone else ever have this?

I have never used Restaurant.com.  Can someone fill me in just a little.  It seems like a great deal until you read the 18% gratuity added…after reading this it still seems like it would save $$$ but the savings wouldn’t be as spectacular as it would seem “at a glance”.  Aside from alcohol, are there any exclusions that apply to meal choices?
