Restaurant.com Promo

Right now Restaurant.com has a coupon code for 80% off of $25 Gift Certificates, which means you only pay $2! Use the coupon code HURRY at checkout to get your discount.

This deal gets even better when you shop through ShopAtHome.com, since you get 25% cash back on your purchases from Restaurant.com.

That makes it $1.5o after cash back, which is a great price on a $25 gift certificate. Just keep an eye out for the minimum amount you have to spend with each certificate.

You usually have to spend $35 on a $25 certificate, plus automatic 18% gratuity.  If you only spend right at $35, you end up paying about $1.50 for the certificate, an additional $10 at the restaurant, about $2.50 in tax, and about $6 in tip.  Your total spent will be around $20.

I was glad that I read into it before I purchased a gift card. Even if that seems like a drawback, you can buy a larger quantity of food or go out in a large group (I’m thinking double date + a bottle of complimentary wine). In the end, I think it’s worth it.

    • Make sure and read all the fine print!! I bought it just thinking it was a discount on gift cards and there are purchase requirements in order to use the pre-paid amounts!!

Be careful too. You have an option to purchase a certificate to Restaurant.com for $25 or $50 HOWEVER you cannot use promo codes (such as HURRY) as well as a certificate. I got a $50 one a while back and thought I use do both. Nope!
